Sartorial Notes: Ranking Ben’s hoodies!

10 of Ben’s most memorable hoodies. Here’s my personal rankings from worst to best.

Ugly: camo sweater with the sneaker on it (3x03, top row).

Bad: bright-red sweater with all those stripes (2x02, second row).

Okay: the color-block hoodie (3x06, third row). The striped hoodie (3x09, fourth row) The patchwork hoodie (3x03, fifth row). The red/black hoodie (1x10, sixth row)

Good: the tie-dye hoodie (4x02, seventh row). The plaid hoodie (2x10, eighth row)

Cute: the solid cyan hoodie (3x10, ninth row). Simple is beautiful. Also, shades of blue and Ben is always a winning combination.

Gorgeous: the navy hoodie from the series finale (4x10, bottom row). I am just in love with it.

Something interested I've noticed is the way they recycle wardrobe especially Hailey. I love that they do it. I really think it adds such a realism to the show and its characters, in addition to being far more cost effective lol. What's interesting is what has been recycled and what hasn't. Like we've some of the camo piece, flannels, hoodies, etc. multiple times. Even some as far back as when she first joined as a series regular. Other pieces tho like the white sweater from 6x03 and the red hoodie from 8x04, we've never seen again. Are there any pieces you wished they would bring back, and which of her wardrobe pieces did you not like?

I love the recycled pieces in wardrobe, too! Definitely adds a realistic appeal that it's not typical for everyday people to change their outfit every week and never repeat clothing items!

For what I'd like to see back: definitely the white sweater from 6x03 and the red hoodie from 8x04 was also a solid piece. There was a flannel she wore in...season 6? It was red and blue and yellow, and I loved that. I would love to see that again. I also really loved the Free People Colt One thermal she wore in 10x05, I've love to see that again!

What I don't like...oh, so much. They just have her in a lot of baggy, disheveled clothing and it's not really working for me. Most of season 9 and 10 have been misses for me. I don't know what happened with wardrobe and the choices behind what Hailey wears, but they have not been good changes in my opinion.

Some Cyberpunk NPC Fashion Headcanons: Misty, Judy, and Panam

Okay, so this has been burning in the back of my brain for five thousand years- as an unfashionable fatass loser who loves the idea of clothes and style in theory, I project this love onto fictional characters. Mostly my oc, but also canon characters. So, of course in game characters wear one outfit but I've developed kind of my own idea of what their style would be based both off those canon outfits and the vibes I get~

Misty- Cozy quirky goth gf

dresses in quirky goth fashion or like a victorian ghost, no in between

eclectic as fuck

cozy sweaters are always a favorite though

dresses with peter pan collars, i have no explanation, i just feel it

those kitschy chunky earrings that are like little raisin boxes or like weird clown babydolls

general kitsch touches, she likes things a little weird, keeps life interesting

👖 JEANS - what is their go-to outfit? For everybody!

Mia wears whatever is comfortable and trendy; right now her wardrobe has a lot of cute crop tops, high-waisted shorts and jeans, oversized sweaters, and colorful striped tees. Her shoes are mostly canvas flats, with a few dressier options for special occasions. She wears a lot of bright, poppy primary colors along with tan, grey, denim blue, and black. Her most favorite outfit is her white ankle jeans, yellow sunflower-print crop top, and bright yellow espadrilles!

Sia dresses with a bit more sophistication than her little sister, but still dresses appropriately for her age. A lot of jewel-toned plaids on skirts, jackets, and cropped trousers. Crisp white and black blouses and mock turtlenecks, and soft brown and black leather loafers. She feels right at home in pretty preppy and academic-inspired looks! Her favorite outfit is a tie-neck white blouse, deep royal blue plaid pinafore, and brown tasseled loafers with knee socks.

Jon isn't very much into being fashionable; he is more about utility than appearance when he purchases clothing. He owns a lot of solid color polo shirts, durable canvas slacks in muted colors, and slimming zip-up jackets. He wears a lot of earth tones, and if he does splurge on anything? It would be on really high-quality hiking apparel; a pair of waterproof boots, or a lightweight down jacket that folds down to nearly nothing. His favorite outfit is his tan cargo joggers, a long-sleeved moisture-wicking collared top in his signature forest green, and his favorite hiking boots, with the forest camo detailing on the heels and toe.

Bobby walks the border between practical and flashy. He has some days when he wants all eyes on him, but he also doesn't want to spend a lot on anything that he won't get a lot of use out of. He knows what he looks good in, and works with it. He has a lot of print shirts, skinny jeans, tracksuits, simple leather boots, and retro-style sneakers. His favorite outfit is a bright aloha shirt with a hibiscus design, partially unbuttoned over a white undershirt and snug black jeans, and canvas low-top sneakers.

Nana's wardrobe is of two minds. A big chunk of it is largely punk inspired; black leather and denim, band tees, cutouts and patches and studs and hand-lettered logos. She has a leather jacket that once belonged to the lead singer of a hardcore band over thirty years ago, and she treasures it. The other part of her wardrobe is dainty, pastel-colored sweet lolita coordinates. It doesn't get worn nearly as often as the former part of her wardrobe, but on special occasions and hangouts with her childhood friend, she likes to be adorable. Her favorite outfit is her leather jacket, a miniskirt made from a pair of old jeans and some canvas shopping bags, an artfully ripped tour shirt from a band that broke up before she was born, and knee-high lace up boots with thick soles.

Punch is somewhat self-conscious, and tends to bury himself in oversized clothes. Loose-fitting jeans or cargo pants, big cozy sweaters, funny graphic tees, and neutral-colored hoodies are his preferred favorites. He owns a few pairs of cross-training sneakers and track pants for working out, warm knit beanies for when his curls are too unruly, and several caps that help keep the sun off of his face. His favorite outfit is a too-big waffle-knit henley top in a soft cream color, relaxed fit jeans with extra-deep pockets, and his most comfortable sneakers.

Joker has two modes, like Nana, but not nearly as extreme. She wears a lot of gender-neutral outfits; unisex tees and sweatshirts with bright graphic designs, boyfriend-cut jeans, clunky retro-style sneakers. She has a massive collection of novelty socks, full of bright, wild patterns and colors. She also "borrows" a lot of her brother's fleeces and sweaters. When she wants to dress up, though, her tastes lean towards retro mid-century silhouettes. Halter-top or sweetheart-necked dresses with nipped-in waists and circle skirts in bright colors, sweet sweater sets with snug capris, bright scarves and chunky accessories. A lot of polka dots and bright red, coupled with matching mary janes or kitten heels. Her favorite outfit is an off-shoulder red gingham dress with a wide belt and built-in crinolines, broad matching sunhat, and shiny red patent mary janes with block heels.

•Tommy Gray (Ghoast) (he/they): A nymph shapeshifter stuck with raccoon features. Either wears wedding ring on their hand or on a chain around their neck. Wears choker to hide su!c!de attempt scar. Giant scar on face that just won’t heal. Messy hair because he doesn’t know how to properly do it.

Wears wedding ring on horn. She wears glasses because she went partially blind in the war. She has an eye tattoo.

Question (Mark) (Question) Clark. (They/it/xem):

Pupils are literal question marks, their iris is just white. Wears wedding ring on a chain around their neck, has an eye pendant on the chain too. Question mark freckles. They do indeed wear glasses. Hair is a very grayish purple. They are French even though they aren’t really from a reality where it matters? They just showed up and went “I’m gonna be French and then marry someone named Frenchie.” We aren’t really sure what they are. Hair is almost always pulled back.

• Gray (he/it): Gray, much like Bee, always has his face covered with its hair. He is very self conscious about the scars on his face and eyes. He is a depression demon, it has little horns, wings and a tail. Its hair is grey with a red fade and one section of his bang is black. It mostly dress formally, no matter what it’s doing. A sweater and a tie underneath? That’s gray for you. He’s a sweetheart I love him. He has an eye necklace.

•Valentina (she/her): She is so pretty Omh, she is a floral cow. She has green horns that have vines wrapped around them and a little tail that has flowers on it. Her hair and eyes are a light green and she wears a light blue overall dress with a ruffled pink shirt underneath. She wears glasses and draws little hearts under her eyes. She has an “x” necklace.

Rain Williams (she/it): Rain mostly hides behind their skeleton eye mask with their cloak hood up, she is a reaper for her goddess of death. It has orange skulls for pupils and a black heart marking under its right eye. A sign of who it works for. She mostly wears a hoodie crop top under her cloak and wears her scythe on her back when not holding it. Blue hair with a pink fade and orange streaks.

•Mythically (Myth) Stone (she/her): She dresses up a lot, never forgetting her leather jacket or her spiked bracelets and collar. She is a shapeshifter but prefers to either have fox features or none at all. She has red hair with a turquoise fade and an orange streak. Her sunglasses match her hair as do her eyes. She has an “x” necklace.

•Esmerelda (she/it) (goddess of death): Her eyes are yellow slits and her hair is the color of copper with black streaks. Black marks stain her body and some are on the form of hearts, mostly underneath her eyes. She can be seen wearing a short purple dress without any shoes, showing the marking that go up to her thighs. She smells like shit.

•Rey Jones (he/they): He has a jacket that has fur on it so that’s pretty cool. They have cat features but they resemble a lynx very closely. Their hair is green with a black section in the front, like Gray’s. They wear a stripped shirt and an eye necklace.

•Moon Brooke (she/they/he) (V: they/it): A skater (definitely not a st0ner) who has a parasite inside of her named V. They have brown hair with a blue fade and a black strip (V’s fault). They wear a backwards hat everywhere and have grey irises, the part of your eye that’s white is completely black for them. They wear a bandana that their dad gave them when they still got along. She has an “x” necklace and a sleeve of tattoos. He’s pretty cool.

•Natalia Fisher (she/they/it): her most noticeable feature is the giant “x” scar that is on her face, crossing right at middle of their nose. She has brown hair with a grey section and wears a fitted black crop top that stops right below her chest. She has an “x” tattoo on her upper arm.

•Midorylin Rockoya (he/they): Midorylin mostly wears purple, it’s their favorite color. His hair is brown with purple fade and he wears his favorite purple beanie constantly. They like to put stickers on their face, usually steals them from the arcade they work at. He has an eye necklace

•Marklo Switch (and snowball) (he/him she/her): Marklo doesn’t have that many noticeable features, despite having an open personality, he hides his face. He has dark black hair that he ties back with a grey and black bow. He wears glasses and a black face mask to hide his face. We wears a pearl necklace and has an eye necklace. His cat has a third eye but everyone else is convinced that it’s just discolored fur, Marklo probably doesn’t even know.

•Oliver (Ollie) Wells (he/him): He has an “X” necklace and wears a yellow bandana that was made with the fabric of his old yellow hoodie, he also has a price wrapped around his leg, and made his girlfriend (Valentina) and him matching bracelets with it. His hair is quite interesting. It’s purple with pink fade and yellow streaks, a side of it is shaved, and it’s always pulled back in a spiked bun. He has vibrant yellow eyes, he is my favorite to describe, he’s so pretty.

Okay this whole ensemble is terrific, I love the goggles <3. But to maintain my #integrity as an abed sweater review blog, I must judge the camo jacket on it’s own merits. And that’s only a 3/5 jacket.

Dear audience, your eyes do not deceive you. This is, indeed, a THIRD blue cardigan of the exact same shade as the two previously reviewed on this blog. At first you may think this is just the striped cardigan we’ve seen before - indeed, I wanted to believe this was the case. But look closely - I assure you, this is a separate cardigan with its pattern slightly distinguishing it from the other two. And on its own merits I award it a 4/5, but I would like to call to your attention the ridiculous real-world implication that Abed owns three cardigans in the EXACT SAME COLOR with sliiiightly different patterns. That is all.

Witches Forest; Part 3

The sounds of laughter and shouting filled the Burger King play place that was meant for kids. The laughter belonged to five 20 year old adults, running around with their shoes on, going down the slides backwards. [Y/N] held the camera and filmed as Sam crawled up the play set. 

“Hot damn Samuel, that is thick!” Corey shouted. [Y/N]’s eyes widened as she turned the camera towards Corey. 

“Corey!” She shouted, laughing. Sam filmed as both Colby and [Y/N]’s screams of excitement echoed through the blue and red slide as they came down, [Y/N] sitting between Colby’s legs. They were laying on their backs since the slides were meant for kids, not adults. Colby filmed as Sam came rushing out of the slide on his stomach, his head accidentally hitting the camera. Sam groaned out in pain, holding his head. 

“Oh shit! You okay?” Colby asked, checking in on his friend. 

After having their fun in the play place, the five friends made their way outside. Sam was now filming. Sam turned the camera to face himself, the camera capturing the foggy mountain behind him. 

“You guys see that giant ass mountain behind me?” Sam asked the camera, speaking to the viewers. “That is the place we are going.” He said, smiling. As they prepared to start heading up the mountain, Colby pointed across the street. 

“Dudes! There’s a Dollar Store right across the street. We should go in there, and get green.” Colby said, taking [Y/N]’s hand. Sam turned the camera to face him, the friends heading towards the store. 

“For those of you who didn’t watch the Stanley video, the psychic medium said that green is the color of family, love and the heart.” Sam explained. [Y/N] nodded and looked at the camera. 

“Wearing green is also supposed to protect you from spirits. I’ve never actually wore green as a ward against spirits, but hey, there’s a first time for everything, even for a medium like me.” She said. Sam turned the camera towards Jake. 

“Yo Jake, you need any green?” He asked. Jake turned around. 

“Um, no. I’ve already got Shrek, dude.” Jake said, taking out his Shrek toy. Sam turned the camera towards [Y/N]. 

“Well, it looks like [Y/N] already has green on.” He said. [Y/N] turned to face the camera and held up the sweater, showing off Sam and Colby’s XPLR logo. 

“I’m going to be well protected against spirits with Sam and Colby’s new merch!” [Y/N] shouted, showing it off. Sam turned the camera back to himself. 

“Guys, we have some new merch out!” He turned the camera back towards [Y/N]. “The new merch is a green and camo hoddie. Not only will it keep you warm, but it will also help protect you from spirits and ghosts! The link is in the description down below!” Sam said, promoting his and Colby’s hoodie. Corey looked at Sam. 

“Yo, why is everyone wearing so much orange and gray and literally no green? Well, besides [Y/N].” Corey asked. [Y/N] was wearing a grey and orange, knee length sweater dress,

grey, warm leggings, 

and white Nike shoes. 

They walked into the store to get more green items, only finding green snake socks. Colby pointed the camera at Sam. 

“Out of everything that could possibly be green in this store,” he held up the socks. “These are all we could find?” He asked, clearly not impressed. 

“Well that’s not the only green thing we have. Jake has his Shrek, we also have the green hoodies and the green XPLR backpack.” Colby said. Sam nodded along. 

“Yeah, you’re right. We should be good now, yeah?” He asked. Colby nodded. 

“Yeah we should be good now.” He said. Colby and Sam walked around the store, trying to find the medium who had somehow disappeared. Sam and Colby found said girl, holding a pair of green fishnet gloves. 

[Y/N] turned and smiled at her boyfriend and her best friend. 

“I found my other green.” She said, taking Colby’s hand and walking up to the cashier to pay for the cloves and the socks.

After paying for the items, the five friends got back into the car and made their way to the Wiccan’s house, who would tell them more about the Witches Forest, why it was haunted, and if she thought it was a good idea for them to stay in the forest at night.

[Y/N], who was now sitting in front and filming, looked around at the area they were driving through in shock and slight fear. 

“Oh my gosh,” she turned the camera to face her. “Guys, there is literally so much fog up here that you almost can’t see in front of you,” she turned the camera to point out the window, showing the viewers what she meant. And sure enough, outside the vehicle, there was just fog. You could almost see the guard rail that was meant to keep cars from falling over the side. “I am literally, so scared right now.” She said, turning the camera back towards herself. 

“Are you sure you’re going the right way, Colby?” Sam asked from the back seat between Jake and Corey. Colby picked up his phone, looking down at the Google Maps that was showing the five adults where to go. 

“I’m literally just following what the directions say when I punched in the address to the Wiccan’s house.” Since Colby’s attention was on the phone, he almost crashed from not paying attention to the road, causing the others in the car to let out a string of curses. 

“Holy shit! Okay, babe, give me the phone. I’ll concentrate on the directions while you concentrate on the road and trying not to get us killed.” She said, taking the phone from Colby and pointing the camera down towards the phone that was showing them where to go. 

“Are we lost already?” 

“Did we miss a turn?” 

“Dude, there’s literally fog everywhere.”

“Babe, what do the directions say?” 

After another hour of driving, the five friends were now slightly panicking, thinking that they had already lost their way to the Wiccan’s house. [Y/N] looked down at the phone. 

“We’re literally almost there,” she pointed to a driveway. “Wait! Wait, slow down, it’s literally right there.” [Y/N] said. Colby slowed down and turned into the driveway. The house itself looked to be two stories tall. It was made out of a beautiful light brown wood. Colby stopped the car, parking it in front of the house and taking the camera from [Y/N].

“It’s raining a little bit, guys.” Colby said, looking at the camera. [Y/N] looked out her window and sure enough, there were little droplets of water hitting her window. Corey leaned forward in his seat. 

“Which is a sign to go home.” Corey said. He was clearly still feeling a little uneasy about all of this. Jake looked at Corey. 

“No bro. If it’s raining, it means we can’t drive. This is LA, we’re supposed to be scared of rain!” Jake said, causing everyone to laugh. Colby looked at [Y/N]. 

“Are you still feeling up to this?” He asked. [Y/N] sighed. 

“Honestly, I think we should just go in there and make the meeting quick cause we still know nothing about this woman and in all honesty, she could murder us.” [Y/N] said. Colby nodded in agreement. 

“Yeah okay,” he turned the camera around to the boys in the back. “What do you guys think we should do?” He asked. Sam shrugged. 

“I agree with [Y/N]. We literally know nothing about this woman other than she’s a friend of Jennifer’s and that she is a Wiccan. So I say go in, make it quick, and go out before anything can maybe happen.” Sam said. Corey and Jake agreed. With that, the five friends got out of the car and walked up towards the house. Colby knocked on the door. A few seconds later, the door opened to reveal a woman with long, black hair. She wore a black dress with a necklace around her neck. 

“Hi,” Colby said. “I’m Colby,” he gestured to the others. “This is [Y/N], Sam, Corey and Jake. Are you Jennifer’s friend?” Colby asked. The Wiccan nodded. 

“That I am.”
