DCXDP prompt

During a rouge attack(your choice) a local graveyard in Gotham was damaged. Afterward, some local corrupted businessmen decided that clearing out the land and moving the graves was a great idea.

Not soon after the "clean up" began a gray-skinned teen with flaming blue hair showed up, and boy was she angry. She began yelling, screaming at the people the workers for digging up her grave.

When she was only met with patronizing responses she used her guitar to destroy some of their equipment. She was only the beginning though. Soon a equally gray looking biker guy and his green girlfriend showed up and started chasing people off.

Even some angry blue guy showed up one morning yelling about how ' they would pay for braking open his box.' (Braking his casket) wasn’t till they accidentally damaged a statue of one of Gothams most famous wardens that it really hit the fan.

The Bats call in Justice League Dark for help with this issue and no matter what they were thinking was going to happen. No matter what hoops they thought they would have to go through to resolve this. They did not expect Constantine to call a fourteen year old for back up.

- So in canon Ember died in a house fire. I could totally see that happening as a result of a rouge attack.(Like Firefly or the Joker, maybe)

Johnny and Kitty died in a motorcycle accident. So maybe they were trying to out run the police? Run from people they had gambling debts with?

The Box Ghost was a warehouse accident. Probably as an example the Mob wanted to make to the warehouse owner after not wanting to pay for protection. Or perhaps he was a whistle-blower?

Walker died in a prison riot, and seeing how Gotham is the place to find violent criminals. Would it be that much of a stretch to say it was Gotham penitentiary? I think not.

Danny Phantom X DC fanfic Prompt

A classic Summoning fic. But the requirements for who is summoned is different.

Imagine this the Justice League break into an evil lair only to to find out they are too late and the Cultists have finished their ritual. The ritual to summon forth the most dreaded ghost in all the infinite realms.

And with a flash of light and moment of silence they hear:

"BEWARE, FOR I AM THE BOX GHOST!!!"

Turns out dread and fear or power are two entirely seprate things. And the only ritual the cultists found was to summon forth the moat dread of ghosts. And so the Box Ghost was summoned, not because he was feared, but because he was just so annoying everyone dreaded when he shows up.

So now the Justice league have to figure out how to fight the lord of six sided cardboard that was completly unfazed by their attacks and couldn't even touch him.

And Danny is just enjoying how quiet it has been lately. Not even noticing the Box ghost is missing.

The final 2 major ghosts in my AU

The Boxghost who is essentially Skulkers underling he's no slouch but compared to the other members of Skulkers gang he's nothing special.

Just like Danny he's a ghoul and ghouls are basically standard ghosts if you weren't a particularly talented or giften human when you die you become a ghoul.

Boxghost has the ability to sense human souls and trap those souls in his "boxes".

While alive he was a dock worker named Baxter and he died when a ship he was unloading started to sink and he got crushed by the crates and boxes on board.

Then we got the head honcho himself Skulker

He's the leader of the Skulker gang and the big bad of the first arc/season

He's a ruthless ghost,who tortures and hunts for fun.

Thanks to his correspondings with Vlad he and his crew are able to do their criminal activites without having to worry about ghost hunters breathing down their necks.

He's a Zombie type ghost

Zombie types are ghosts who died as a result of losing vital body parts/getting disfigured. Skulker was mauled during a hunting incident causing him to lose his arm,his face as well as other body parts.

Most Zombie types use technology as a way to compensate for the parts they lost.

With all the reboots going on right now l'd like to nominate Danny Phantom for a well thought out, animated (I can be persuaded to see a live action but only if they put in some quality production value), gritty reboot for the following reasons:

We are a viewing audience that currently loves silliness, working through trauma, super heroes, found families, and wondering what happens after we die. Danny Phantom is all 5 and more

While the Danny Phantom show didn't end in a cliffhanger per se it didn't have much closure either

Back to point 1: As an audience that loves superheroes, Danny is not weighed down with years upon years of cannon or different authors for his character and actually offers a fresh and cohesive perspective on being a superhero

The Danny Phantom fan base, (ironically) is still alive and kicking. They're also making some quality content and have some killer cosplay

I'd like to see the updated visual effects for Danny's powers

It would open up a great discussion on what parental neglect and looks like and would help people be more observant

It would also open up the gate for lots of other more serious discussions like teen depression, sibling bonds, the nature of power, balancing your workload, what it truly means to be alive, and (of course) the nature of letting go and getting closure

With a great selection of villains the show could go for a really long time

It seems like we're mostly out of new quality ideas anyway, so might as well go for this one

I really, really want it

Now I'm not just advoacting for a REGULAR dark and gritty reboot, Danny deserves more! So the reboot should NOT have:

30 year olds playing high schoolers

A Big Bad that's hinted at all season and finally revealed to have been pulling the strings all along (looking at you Vlad/Observants/Evil Future Danny/Pariah Dark). The only things Danny should be working on (for the first seasons AT MINIMUM) are his relationships with the other people in his life and coming to terms with his death.

Love triangles

Making someone a part of the LGBTQ community without giving them a fully fleshed out backstory and complexities. There should be no 'gay best friend' tropes, make the character have layers or don't do it

Plot lines that go nowhere or are solved in less than a minute
