For such a long time i haven’t post here! So, what’s new - recently i’m working in my free time on my own comic series about Borgia family - The Bullsfight. It a very long time project - i’ve already posted something on it, you can check the hashtag. But now things become much more serious - as more materials i make, so clearer i see the future final result, an so i do even more work than on the previous stages.

Here are some final concept arts of Cesare Borgia, the main hero of my story and a pretty notable figure in Italian history. I’ve tried here some emotions, turns and ARMORY (the hardest thing for me).

Eyes is the window of the soul and also one of the most important elements of the character design. Do you remember some anime characters? Sometimes the only differences between them are clothes, hair... and eyes. Eyes even can define the personality of the character! Big round eyes usually belong to the innocent, young, naïve characters. Narrow eyes are the feature of adults, the clever ones and villains. Eyes make character recognizable, but they can’t fully express emotions. Eyebrows can! Just close the brows with your finger and look what happens. But don’t forget that every muscle on your face is connected to another. So when the brow rises, it pull the eyelid and the eye opens wider; when the brow frowns, it pushes lid down instead. And what do you think, which part of human face helps the brow to create strong emotion? I’ll tell you in the next part of #tips_by_trishaboring.
