"Death must be so beautiful. to lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. to have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. to forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace. you can help me. you can open for me the portals of death's house, for love is always with you, and love is stronger than death is" with such ease? to touch my soul so casually?

Yes, death. Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no to-morrow. To forget time, to forget life, to be at peace. You can help me. You can open for me the portals of death's house, for love is always with you, and love is stronger than death is.

I'm seeing a lot about how awesome the character Trent Crimm is and how James Lance is killing it at his job. May I point you to toward the 2021 The Canterville Ghost miniseries? Sure, it's a more childish show and there were some, shall we say, liberties taken with the original source material. Also, Lance's American accent is definitely something to behold. It's like Keanu Reeves British accent in the 1992 Bram Stoker's Dracula, only reversed. However, his character is super adorable and avoids confrontation like this:
I mean, come on!
Just my humble opinion. (Sorry for the shit quality)

I couldn't resist the temptation to make a collage based on the story.
