summary: the very first time your favourite tante meets you, part of Sydney's Little Liebe

a/n: look at that! i've upgraded my game to making my own gifs 😂

You’re only a couple hours old when you meet your Tante Syd.

Of all your Tantes, she is the first to meet you.

In fact, other than Momma and all the medical staff, she is the very first person you meet.

Your Momma is absolutely exhausted after having you but she texts Sydney a photo of you nonetheless.

The midfielder has just finished a gym session when she sees the photo, as well as the caption, ‘Look who’s here….Do you want to meet her?’

You’re all red in the photo but you look to be sleeping peacefully. There’s a pink blanket swaddling you and your face is kinda squashed but Sydney is positively sure she’s never seen anything cuter.

She had known you were due to be born any moment but she didn't think that today would be the day.

With one hand already throwing her belongings back into her bag, she uses her other hand to reply to your Momma, telling her that she’s already on her way.

It’s not even twenty minutes later that your Tante's knocking on the door of Momma’s hospital room.

She had only stopped to pick up a bouquet of flowers and to rub her hands with a liberal amount of hand sanitizer, the bottle being conveniently located at the hospital elevator lobby.

Your Momma says to come in and Sydney pushes open the door.

‘Oh.’ She breathes as she sees you in your bassinet.

The blonde is not even aware that she’s crossing the room until she is right by your side.

You’re awake and less red now, more of a pink really and Sydney gently touches your hand.

She jumps when you close your hand around her finger, her heart beating fast.

‘Hi…’ She murmurs, completely and utterly taken by you.

Your Momma laughs, knowing that you have worked your charm on the midfielder and that she’s definitely going to spoil you silly.

Sydney takes you in for another long moment, looking at how tiny you are and how you already have the beginnings of fine hair growing on your head.

You look so serious, with your wide eyes and she can’t help but cry a little.

‘She’s entirely perfect. You’ve made the most perfect baby on Earth.’ She chokes out, to your Momma.

Walking over, she places a delicate kiss onto her fellow Bayern Munich player’s forehead and passes her the flowers.

‘She’ll have a lot of people looking out for her. Honestly, there is no way you’ll be able to keep our team away from her once they find out she's been born, especially Glo but I am here for you okay? I’m looking out for you. Anything you need, anytime you need it, just let me know. I will be there.’ Sydney promises.

‘Thank you Syd. That means more to me than you will ever know.’

Your Momma’s voice is soft and slightly tearful. She reaches for the midfielder’s hand and squeezes it before smiling, ‘Do you want to hold her?’

Sydney’s bottom lip trembles, ‘Really?’

‘Of course really.’ Your Momma tells her, slowly getting out of the hospital bed and picking you up.

The blonde remains motionless, staring at you with nothing short of awe.

Momma chuckles and quietly asks her to sit down.

So Sydney mechanically does but her hazel eyes never leave you.

‘I-I don’t know how to carry a baby. I’ve never held one before.’ The midfielder nervously stammers.

’You’ll do alright Syd, just make sure to support her head.’ Your Momma reassures her.

Then she transfers you into your Tante’s waiting arms.

Sydney releases a shaky breath. You are far lighter than she expects and she keeps her arms steady so as to not jostle you.

By cradling you to her chest, she gets an up close look of your little features.

‘She’s beautiful.’ The blonde murmurs.

‘You’re so precious.’ She whispers to you, brushing her finger across your cheek.

She makes sure to do as your Momma asked, supporting your head in the crook of her elbow.

You wiggle in her hold and scrunch your nose up, making her laugh.

‘I’m your Tante Syd and when you’re a bit bigger, I promise you that we’re going to have so much fun. I promise, Little Liebe.’

Your Momma giggles, ‘Little Liebe is cute and I know I’ve been referring to her as it for a while but don’t you want to know what her name really is?’

‘Oh so you finally decided on one?’ She teases.

Momma rolls her eyes, ‘Yes, yes I did and while I didn’t use any of your suggestions….’

Your Tante pouts, ‘Not even Sydney? What’s wrong with my name?’

‘No and that’s just it, it’s your name but…I did the next best thing. Her middle name is Tilly. Short for your middle name, Matilda.’

Sydney inhales sharply.

She’d tried so hard to keep her tears at bay earlier but now she’s completely unable to.

Your Momma takes a photo as the blonde emotionally presses a kiss onto your forehead.

‘I’m going to be the very best Tante in the world for you. I’m gonna buy you so many presents, I'm going to teach you how to play football with your Momma and get you all the ice creams you want when you're older. Just you wait Little Liebe because you and I? We're going to be best friends.’

It's ironic almost that Viv shoves "rep" into her shows and went out of her way to include a deaf child at an adult sex circus show for said "rep" but like. Fuck people with visual disabilities right? Because neither of those shows have considered how people with colorblindness or even mild visual impairment might not be able to even WATCH the shows with how bad their colour balancing is.

Viv has completely ignored that having unique designs and color palettes for your world and characters is not only basic design for cartoons but also how you maybe your show accessible to those who struggle visually

Funny you ask me that, I actually already made a post about that signing scene and distracting captioner's notes, because I have a hearing disorder and wanted to add my two cents.

I can't get over the fact the it wasn't a teenager around the age Fizz was when he went to that show with Blitzø. I genuinely can't think why they decided to have a young child be the fan other than it being more wholesome because it was a child.

Think for a second about why this scene there. Fizz was spiraling, consumed by thoughs of not being enough and being a "fake, sellout jester". He himself was a disabled teenager who wanted to be the greatest clown of his times. He ended up as a fake, sellout jester, just like Blitz said. But he saw himself in that kid. He saw for who really he wanted to perform. I don't think it would be as impactful to him if it was regular imp, but this would make infinitely more sense, on so many levels, if this was a teenager. But no, we gotta have a freaking child, because it's just way more cuter that way, right? I genuinely don't understand what other possible reasons for why this was a child, and not a teenager, could be.

I'm also still not over the fucking captions. I had problems with following what was happening in S02E06 of Helluva Boss, because of weirdly described sounds and big chunks of captioner's notes and jokes. That's unacceptable.

The irony of literally being an asshole to deaf/HoH people by purposeful fucking up the caption, the thing we rely on to be able watch a show, only to "give" a representation to said group next episode is almost funny.

But going back to the visuals, yes, it's so hard to watch. HB is better than Hazbin, but both aren't great if you have any sort of vision disorder, and this is coming from someone who just have the regular stuff, shortsightedness, astigmatism etc. The legally blind and colourblind folks must have it hard. HH is a joke when it comes to any sort of contrast. Even if they decided to stick to red(-ish) colours, there's still so much shades to work with. It isn't a impossible to make monochromatic art. In fact it's actually a popular training tool for young artists to learn how to do it even when you have more colours.

Here's some examples of monochromatic and mostly monochromatic art done right.

Now compare one of them with a screenshots from HH, both without saturation (black and white).

Hazbin Hotel isn't even monochromatic and fails miserably at any contrast. So no, it isn't just the problem of lack of hue (colour) differentces, it overall just failed at colour and contrast balancing, especially in the hotel, and there's no defending HH on this, because you have three sliders god damnit!

“Can you make this?”

Mo Guan Shan frowns at He Tian’s phone when he angles it in his direction. It’s a video of someone making cute rectangular layered cakes.

He tilts his head a little, lower jaw jutting out in consideration, and He Tian knows Mo Guan Shan will make it anyway regardless of whatever he’s gonna say next.

"You into this shit?"

He Tian just shrugs. It's cute. He's into cute shit and he's not afraid to admit it. "It looks tasty."

"Hm," Mo Guan Shan hums with a non-committal shrug. "I'll try I guess."

'Try' he said as if that isn't as good as a yes. He Tian knows Mo Guan Shan won't just try. The second the question left He Tian’s lips Mo Guan Shan already took it as a challenge. He'll fucking do it and blow He Tian's mind in the process at how way better and prettier his version will be than the one in the video. Just like all the other times He Tian has shown him foods he thinks are interesting. It's as good as done at this point.

See, it’s like this. Outside of work, the foods Mo Guan Shan cooks are just a rotation of his and He Tian’s favorite or any dish He Tian has mentioned even in passing that he likes. Mo Guan Shan has picked up on He Tian's picky eating habits and developed an instinct to mentally cataloguing He Tian’s niche food preferences and all the subtle ways he’s let them known. In his published cookbooks, at least half of the foods featured are a variation of what suits He Tian’s tastes and all of them have ‘For 贺天’ printed on the first page.

God. He Tian loves him so much. What the hell did he do in his past life to deserve such devotion?

The weekend rolls around and Mo Guan Shan presents He Tian with his own version of the cakes.

He Tian, as he expected, is floored by how pretty they are that he doesn’t even say anything. He just stares at the little rectangular cakes in pastels decorated with intricate shapes made of fondant and meticulously piped icing.

"What's wrong?" There's worry in Mo Guang Shan’s voice seeping into defensive. "What? You don't like it?"

"No, its..." He Tian looks up at him, brows furrowed and a look of genuine conflict on his face. "They're too pretty. I kinda don't wanna eat them."

“Idiot,” Mo Guan Shan just scoffs and rolls of his eyes but the slight quirk at the corner of his lips lets He Tian know he’s pleased. "Just eat it. Food is meant to be consumed. I can always make more."

"These are definitely way, waaaay cuter than the ones in the video I showed you."

"They're okay. You're just exaggerating."

"No, I'm not," He Tian insists. "When have I ever lied to you?"

Mo Guan Shan stares at him. He looks to be considering He Tian's words for a moment before nodding curtly.

He Tian takes what seems like a thousand pictures and sends them to their group chat with Jian Yi and Zhang Zheng Xi, to his brother, and then to Brother Qiu with a very proud caption of 'Momo made these for me~. They’re pretty AND they taste great~.’'

He revels in Jian Yi exploding in the group chat and demanding Mo Guan Shan make some for him and Zhan Zheng Xi too.

‘Heh,’ He Tian types with a smug smile, ‘Eat your heart out, bitch.’

(He Cheng thumbs-upped his message while Brother Qiu’s reply was to tell Mo Guan Shang to bring some over the next time they come to the mansion. To which He Tian replies a very empathic ‘No <3’).

When he’s done gloating, He Tian turns back to Mo Guan Shan and knows by the look on his face that he’s already thinking about including the cakes in his next cookbook. He thinks that if Mo Guan Shan ever gets his own restaurant, he’ll make it so at least half of the menu will be to He Tian’s liking.

"I love you," He Tian says and means it. Because he really does and because he doesn’t know any other way of saying it.

"Wha—" Mo Guan Shan blinks, a flower fondant halfway to his mouth, and looks at He Tian weirdly. "Just because of this? You're too easy."

For Mo Guan Shan? He really is. Always has been and always will be.

"You take care of me so well." Mo Guan Shan's loudest love language has always been food and He Tian still can't believe how lucky he is that he gets to have this. “I’ve gotten spoiled.”

“You’ve always been spoiled,” Mo Guan Shan retorts as he bumps a forkful of chiffon against He Tian’s lips. "Shut up and eat your damn cake."

so.. ryan was bored on a sunday afternoon

he was scrolling through his phone to cure his boredoom and saw an instagram post saying "buy pumpkins for halloween" (sorry i didn't had much inspiration for the add caption 💀😭)

ryan smiled and decided to go to the closest supermarket and brought two medium pumpkins for you and him

he's just really creative

while you were doing your own things, ryan came into your room and smiled proudly of his projects that he wanted to do with you

"want to carve pumpkins with me?"

ofc, you said yes <3

and it immediately made him super happy

nguyen would have decorated the apartment with halloween decorations (i know ryan do not own an appartment since he's moving houses to houses with the boys, but let's say he have one with you lol) and spooky stuff around the differents room

i know ryan is a SIMP for christmas, but i also know he kinda like halloween (but not like he do for xmas haha)

ANYWAYS-

he would have put tablecloths or paper journals that you guys don't really use or read on your table to avoid a mess

this man brought even the little knife to do it perfectly

like.. this boy wanted to do this activity with you so bad

"i bet my pumpkins can be cuter than yours"

"lol, you wish"

"ooh y/n have some talk back? mmh i love it"

he smiled while saying that

"if you really think your chances to do an aesthetic and beautiful pumpkins are much higher than mine, then let's do a contest on our ig stories so the stars can vote. the loser have to do the dishes for the rest of the week and have to buy the other, snacks and drinks they want"

and ofc, it would make him super happy

"alright, bet. we have 30 minutes to take all the inside out and we'll have 45 minutes to carve it. i'll put the timer"

"that's a serious challenge.."

"well yeah! if i have to carve pumpkins against my girlfriend, i better take it seriously. i would love to see you doing all the dishes and making me food" he said while laughing

he would definitively (try to) put pumpkin flesh on your face and on your nose

"sorry, it was too tempting"

he would laugh so much and take a lot of pictures

he love taking pictures with you

he would try his best to make you loose

after that curving, he would be super proud of his pumpkin, but then... he would look at yours and be a bit jealous (just a little bit)

"woah.. y/n, you're really talented! it look fucking good and sick!! i love it!"

he tried his best

he wanted to win so so bad, but he know how great as an artist you are.. like, you could do whatever you want and it would still look sick and awesome

though, he would still be proud of his, he knew he wouldn't be able to win with your masterpiece

he would post a picture of both of your pumpkin and would add an instagram sticker with the choices (a poll lol) and would pray to win

he love seeing you winning because he can see you smile and can see how excited you are, but he still love winning times to times

after 30 minutes, he would check the results and see how he lost-

listen, he always thought you were a born artist, but he didn't know that his pumpkin was THAT bad looking?

ryan's pumpkin would probably look sick and super good, but you know.. the stars have choosen >:)

he was a bit sad, but at the same time, not really, because your smile when he told you, you won, was so worth it like?? his heart was filled with joy and happiness and excitment? ARGH THIS BOY LOVE YOUR SMILE SO MUCH

"i told you baby that i'll win"

he smirked

"yeah, yeah.. i guess, you're the real artist between us"

"don't say that, ry'! maybe you weren't born an artist but you're still good at dancing, at singing, at videos games.. ok, maybe not at smash, but still.."

"thank you baby.. HEY DID YOU SAY I WAS BAD AT SMASH?!"

"maybe, i did"

"alright, bet, you'll regret that, i'll beat your ass like i do every time when we play. you're going to be beat very easily"

then it turned into a videos games contest and let's say that even if you were trying your hardest, you lost.. sorry, not sorry

i'll do you one better... before the show, you post a pic of the boys in 2013 looking at the box on a tiny stage for the first time, then one from them looking at the box on the stage at reading today, captioned by that one joan didion quote that says "i suppose that everything had changed and nothing had... these boys and this decade-old album (half of which was written in my uni student accommodation lol) have a special place in my heart. excited to celebrate both of them this weekend". you just hit post backstage in the green room without telling anyone, and then i think ross (insta lurking king) is the first to see it and he just looks at you like "are you trying to get us to fucking cry, mate?" - naturally, the other boys go over to see what he's talking about, while you grin, and then you're enveloped by them into a massive hug (which does actually get a bit teary). once it ends, matty kisses you like "that's really fucking cute, baby, what you said about us", and you're like "and the post i'll make after the show about you is going to be even cuter lol"; matty kisses you again like "i can't fucking wait for it lol".

the post in question? three pictures. the first, a pic of you and matty kissing in the robbers vid. the second, a pic of you two kissing during the song at the first gig after you got together. the third... a pic of you, in an outfit reminiscent of the one you wore in the vid, kissing matty onstage during reading; the second you walked out, the crowd went fucking NUTS, and they only got more insane when you and matty kissed lol. and you caption the photodump something like "ok yeah fine we weren't kissing when the album was released, but it certainly led us to start. and i was in love with him ten years ago, i'm in love with him right now, and i'll be in love with him in ten years' time (and the ten after that, and the ten after that, etc etc). thanks for continuing to wanna kiss me during that song, babe. and in general, too, tbh. ps sorry i had to run offstage p quickly guys i had a baby to feed lol". matty cries when he reads it lmao <3
