10 years ago to the date, on January 31st 2013, Elisa Lam disappeared from the Cecil Hotel.

The (doctored) video of her from the hotel elevator went viral. She was acting erratic, weird, and scared.

Weeks later, she was found on the roof of the hotel in one of the water tanks. Her estimated TOD, early on the morning of February 1st.

Her death was eventually ruled an accident, as medical examiners believe she got in there herself (somehow). And that the lower than usual dose of her meds in her system indicate that she may of had some sort of psychotic episode, causing her behavior and death.

The whole case is shotty, definitely read up on or watch the Netflix docuseries and decide for yourself. I don't know where I stand on the case, personally. But, I still feel like there's probably more to it. Whether or not Elisa's mental health was the cause, or an unknown assailant, she deserves to be remembered!

She seems to of had such a beautiful soul. I could really see that as I scrolled through her Tumblr page for hours a few weeks ago. It's surprisingly still up, just harder to access now. She was a poet. A thinker with a vivid imagination. A lost soul, just trying to find her way in life and go on extraordinary adventures.

do you think random sinners who watched everything in stayed gone and never met alastor in person have like fan interpretations of how he looks like based on this one shitty drawing and his voice.

some draw him with a full body of fur. some draw him with a nose, some draw him without a nose. they come up with their own colour palettes too and they all look very different. there are some popular, agreed on interpretations of him too that are commonly drawn

some have interpreted the monocle to be a goofy mismatched eye so there are a lot of people who draw him like that too with one big eye and one small eye
