#the child finding a guardian and safely learning about life
Text
well i just fell down a 1am wiki rabbit hole reading about Joseph Merrick...
#i never knew that much about him but honestly the abled and the otherwise 'normal' have such a sick obsession with the grotesque#theres so few works written about him the seem to acknowledge treves as the shite he likely was#or refer to norman as a vile human#its like it never occurred to people that Freakshows didnt exist for the sake of the spectators#they were lodging and safety in numbers of anyone poor and othered#i never understood why the thought felt safe to me as a child and now disabled and very visibly queer i know why#demeaning yes but food and shelter and more like me...thats all that scenario has ever been#survival we'd never find anywhere#and his depiction in ripper Street was lovely to me especially since when you look him up his occupation was listed as artist#he suffered greatly but just like all of us its more so the world we live in than it is our disabilities that cause that#and by the end he was so loved and i hope he knew that when his time came#although i do believe that since nothing more can be learned from his remains his body belongs in the earth to rest#how much pain must have he been in every day of his life ans the little fears he could never forget#either of other humans or the knowledge that he might decline or even die? all because of shape of his body?#but he seemed like he was such a beautiful soul and so full of adoration of the best parts of earth#and especially now learning of his admiration of women? his line in ripper street about how love is peace hes never known? oh my heart#to be clear i dont pity this man im only sad over what was forced on him but so so emotional over the good people who rallied for him#and the princess of Windsor sending Christmas cards every year 😭😭😭😭#i hope he knew the love was genuine by that time in his life he might be long gone now but im sure anyone who knows him still#holds that love like a martyr and a guardian for that he never knew he did for the world#i do believe that even in a small way..his existence forced on him it may have been..opened doors of empathy to others disabled#even only a little#he knew wonder but i so hope he knew genuine love from the companions he met

The Main Male Character’s Nephew Really Likes Me - By Mokapanna (7/10)
Tumblr media
Stalkers and duty and favors all collide in this one. It seems cute and harmless, but there is a looming threat of obsession. A wayward, spoiled lady saves a lost prince... instead of the tragic artist protagonist. His guardian is a very family oriented man, who is extremely grateful to the woman who returned his beloved nephew.
Charlize is a stalker. An extremely pathetic one. The object of her affections is the Emperor’s brother. She's shameless, catty, and toxic as hell. She's a snotty villainess from a romance novel, and she dies at the end.
Tumblr media
Charlize torments Calix. He is a man of honor, who doesn't even particularly hate Charlize. He only has her killed after she dares to poison the "precious woman" who saved his nephew. Calix was very close to his brother. The previous Emperor who died. When the Empress and her heir died in a mysterious fire he was left...cold. He felt helpless, because there's no way to bring back the dead. His poor brother got sick. The heir went up in flames, and the throne went to a more corrupt brother.
Calix is plagued by the child he failed to save. By thoughts and regrets for the family he couldn't protect, despite all of his power.
He wants that warmth back.
Tumblr media
In the original novel Ilian was a lady from a ruined family, with tons of artistic talent. She found the heir, Sasha, on the street. When she brought him to Calix his entire life changed. He found new light. He gave Ilian everything. An Imperial art sponsorship. Land. His hand in marriage. Everything he had went to her, and he obsessed over her fretfully, because he wanted to make a family for Sasha. Sasha was attached to Ilian, his savior, so the Duke got attached in the same way. He is a man who only looks cold. Deep down inside he wants his happy ending. He broke the rules to wed a titleless woman to get it.
Their story ends happily after he kills Charlize. The brat who bullied Sasha's beloved savior.
Tumblr media
Charlize wakes up in a fantasy world, aware of her incoming death. Anybody who gets in the way of Calix's happy ending is going to get cut in half, and Charlize is the most annoying person in his life. She leaves. She sends him an apology letter too.
Her father calls her back to discuss the missing royal heir sighting.
She saves a child from some bullies and...yes...the child is the long-lost Imperial heir.
Tumblr media
Sasha is sweet, but scared. He is only seven. Charlize doesn't want to die, but she keeps him for a while. She explains it all. She tells the boy he is safe. She lets him cuddle with her, and he learns about his royal birth through her. They play together, and she slowly starts to talk about Calix.
They can't stay inside and play forever.
He must take his crown.
Tumblr media
Charlize gives Sasha a letter. She tells him to give it to the guard in front of Calix's gate. She tells the boy to pretend she doesn't exist. He must tell Calix he found the flyer, and he came alone. She says she will see him at balls. They can still chat sometimes, but they must stay apart.
Charlize is known for being spoiled and unbearable, so she cannot approach Calix.
Sasha doesn't understand, but he does his best. He's very grateful to Charlize, so he listens to her.
Then her role in the story....does not end...
Tumblr media
Sasha lands safely in his uncles arms, and Calix will do anything to make Sasha happy. His negligence led to Sasha's life of poverty. He really will do anything. When Sasha starts crying for a woman named Charlize in his sleep Calix does some digging.
He finds his former stalker, Charlize, at the end of the line.
Tumblr media
Charlize tries to bring in Ilian, who is currently selling sketches on the street. Ilian is initially suspicious. She's shockingly practical.
In the novel Ilian accepted the Duke's support and love because she needed it. Her love was connected to selfish needs.
Tumblr media
Charlize sponsors Ilian's art career...and that completely ends Ilian's desire for any romance in life. Ilian has always been devoted to art first, before anything else. Being a good wife for Calix was just part of that in the original novel. Now that she has money through Charlize she refuses to go to balls, and she just draws for her mistress.
Charlize is flabbergasted by how strange the dysfunctional romance novel couple is.
The man is obsessed with perfection.
The other considers being a wife a job.
What kind of love story is this????
Tumblr media
Calix slowly starts to get rid of his enemies. His enemies are people who hate Charlize, by the way. Charlize is a known demon in social circles, but he starts clearing the way for her before they even get close. It's clear that he's up to his old tricks. A perfect life. A red carpet. A good father and mother for his nephew. It has to be her. The one Sasha likes. Only she can fulfil his need for a complete family.

BSD characters as parents!! Pt3
Pt1 - Pt2 - Pt3 - Pt4 - Pt5 - Pt6 - Pt7 - Pt8
Masterlist
A.n: I didn't expect people to like these this much, but I guess we all need happiness after s5-. If I have to be honest, this made me cry literally.. images from BSD manga! Images from BSD manga
New A.n: it's updated now alongside with pt1 and pt2!
Characters: Odasaku and Ranpo
Warnings: mentioned character death, physical relationship mention, slight angst at Odasaku's part, if you are uncomfortable by these mentioned warnings DNI
Tumblr media
Odasaku man:
As he is in Mafia there's a chance he might have a child from one of missions (that chance is there with ever Mafia member as you know mafia members reached to use their body to get what they wanted or needed: examples Dazai and Kyouka) but if it not, he is a marriage guy. He would want a child after marriage or he adopted the child.
If it's from an mission child he would still love the child, he might leave the child with the mother cause he dont want them to know his Mafia work, but if the mother dont want or abusive, he is taking the child. He would find a way to feed the child, milk donor? He would find one. Baby milk for newborns? He would research about how to use them.
he might act different to child due to gender, if it's a boy, he would teach them how to protect themselves and how to use a gun after a certain age. If it's a girl, still he would teach her self defense but he would try to keep all the gun and other things, he might be a little gentler with a girl child. Still a caring, loving and protective dad.
He would be the calm father yet he would rise them to be in good side no matter what. You saw how he wanted Dazai to get in the good side, he wants best for his child. He would low-key disappointed and afraid if his child end up in Mafia, he would feel like he failed them.
The orphans he take care were happy and over joyed, they were probably the first play friends of the child. Their first friends as well.
Dazai is the brother. No other way, he is the annoying brother who would mess with the child's hair which they spent hours with styling. Also he has a protective side of him for the child, if a person he didn't trust or know has bad intentions try to get near the child-.. well we all know what they say in Port Mafia about Dazai and his enemies-
He would also try to hold Mafia things away from the child by Odasaku's warnings he is the first one who Odasaku told about his child probably. He was happy for Odasaku, also kinda scared if he would get abandoned inside-
Ango is rather calm about it, still a caring uncle but serious most of the time. He is the boring yet cool uncle. I can see he would tell the child about trio's stories. He also most likely prevent port Mafia learning about Odasaku's child in secret
Odasaku probably wouldn't even go after the man who ended up k!lling him if he had a child. I feel like he and Dazai would make a plan to run.
But if that organisation found out about his child.. There's two possibilities there.
1- they take the child alongside with other orphans Odasaku take care or 2- they couldn't reach for the child/they didn't know about them.
If Odasaku make a run and left with Dazai: tbh they would have a great life. Both would join ADA and the child still got Ango's protection from afar
But if that organisation know about them/ reach and take them:
Odasaku wouldn't care, he would be more furious than the orphans died. He never felt this much grief and despair once and now the worst thing scenario is happened for him. His child was his everything, and now gone? Oh boy. And we know how it ends up...
after Odasaku's death:
Ango made sure that the child was safe and Port Mafia didn't find about them. He didn't find strength to visit the child after his betrayal. He probably sent the guardians of the child money every month or week for them to use for the child or hide for their future
Dazai probably wanted to take care of the child on his own for Odasaku but A go probably already sent child away to much safer place. He knew that was a better chance for the child but it still hurted that he won't be there for his best friend's child. Who Odasaku cared so much
Dazai also make sure hide and protect the child from afar. He also couldn't find the courage to visit the child, he didn't want to risk them nor was ready to face them..
In another universe Odasaku was sure they are still together and he would protect them with his life (even if he failed in that one,l if that organisation take the child) but not this one maybe.. Yet he knows one thing clear, he loves and protects his child in every universe with all his being.
He wants his child to be on the good side as well. He is scared to lose them. So he would be totally shocked and angry at his child if they decide to get on the bad side. He did everything to make them a good person. So he knew it was just his child's greed or bad side he never knew.
Even though he knew he couldn't help but feel sad and guilt deep in his heart, maybe he didn't do everything he could have done?..
If his child gets on the good side: he would have a soft smile. A proud and happy smile to watch his child fly out of the nest with a bright and wide smile. He is proud to raise them to be good...
He would have felt that father's sadness when his child seemingly was ready to fly away from the nest... He didn't want them to go but he knew it was best for them to go.. he would look at their photo of two of them together as his eyes tear up while his lips curl upwards..
Overall a caring and calm father, who wants the best for his child.. even if he had to risk his life to give them a better life..
Tumblr media
Best detective in the world aka Ranpo:
Marriage? Probably but there's a slight chance he might have a child from outside of the marriage. If the time needed that, as we saw in his backstory he even risk his life to solve the case (I didn't watch that season, correct me if I'm wrong please) so he even might have a physical relationship if there's no other way he can see.
If it's from marriage, he is happy. Yet he knew his partner wanted a child from the start.
If he finds a child on his doorstep or abandoned: He took them to the nearest child shelter/orphanage and left them there. If the shelter/orphanage wasn't good and he sees the evilness in the employees, he won't hesitate to take the child to another orphanage but he would end up adopting them himself due his inner child getting more and more concerned about the child. He couldn't help but feel like he abandoned the child like how alone he was in his childhood without his parents.
If it was from an a mission thing, at first he wouldn't want the child, he don't wanted to take care of a child while he didn't even know what a child would do. If the mother is good, then his inner child and traumas won't bother him much about it but if she wasnt.. his inner child slowly eat him from inside saying the child would feel like him if he abandoned them.
He would end up taking the child if the mother was bad, he would even buy or find a milk donor for his child. Or ask pregnant or newly give birth mothers about which milk type he should use.
It doesn't matter the gender for him. He still give the child the childhood he never got while being kids with his child. He is their first friend and play friend. Their closest friend as well.
Fukuzawa is the grandpa- he would be the first one who would babysit the child. They would pet cats and he would teach the child traditional things like how to wear a yukata, how to sit down properly, etc
Yosano is the protective aunt. She also lacks of a proper childhood probably, so she also doing her best to give Ranpo's kid the best childhood. She is the second friend and play friend of the child. If Fukuzawa's busy or if agency having a case, she is the one that babysits the child. Fun fact: She would teach them how to scare off people-
Poe would have a uncle/brother like relationship with the child, he was nervous and anxious at first and hold Karl away from the child for a while till he get more comfortable. He is the third person who Ranpo would leave his child with. I mean they have a rivalry like relationship but Poe isn't insane or maniac to harm an innocent child between their rivalry
Karl maybe the closest friend of the child if they love animals, if they have allergies, Poe always cleans his clothes and need to hold Karl away for a while. But if not Karl is their plushie -Ranpo need to remind them to be careful and Karl isnt a plushie.
The child can't help but sometimes fall asleep while hugging Karl, either way, Karl doesn't bite them! So that's good.
Ranpo is also a child like himself, so his child would have one of the best childhoods. But he also have a deep fear of leaving his child or something happening his child. He is scared that he might leave his child like how his parents did, he don't want them to be in his shoes..
He always protects them afar, if he is not there, that means he at least have one person he trust near them. It's either Yosano or Fukuzawa
He is overlay having two sides, one who he is while in Agency: knowing everything and in control. While he is rather looks like he lets things slide themself with his child which he would have a fight in his mind that something might happen or he needs to be all guard
It tooks a while till Fukuzawa realises it and confronts him about it or he go to Fukuzawa cause of it. Either way Fukuzawa would say he is proud of him of taking care of his kid and he is a good father.
He nearly cried when he heard the words Fukuzawa spoken to him.
He would want his child to stay on the good side. He knows his child's every expression and what they mean. Yet it would still hurt him if his child decided to get on the bad side.
He can see his child clearly, so he would be disappointed and angry at them if his child was pure evil, go to the bad side by their own will but if his child was forced or manipulated? He is mad. He is mad mad at the person who manipulated/forced his child away from him.
He won't stop till his child is back to the good side, next to him. He would do everything to save them from that spider wep.
If they follow his path, he is happy; the happiest father in world. He knew they would follow his path but actually seeing them follow his steps? He has tears in his eyes. He is very happy to have his child on the good side.
He would visit his child randomly, give them candies and small deserts from time to time before giving head pats. It doesn't matter what age his child's in, he is giving them head pats.
Overall, he is a father who is always five steps ahead of his child but also leads them to a much better path. He cares for them, and would do anything for his child's safety..

ok this will be a long post. be warned!
let me dive a little deeper into how will and james have been reborn. and when i say reborn i truly mean reborn. in a sense that: they are not just souls and bodies that once lived in the past, but they are re-living their own lives in a new world and context.
(yes this is just a theory (( a book theory)) since we didn't got a full vision of their past yet, but with the little we have i can safely say i have something here!)
ok let's start with will then, sarcean actually. what do we know about sarcean's past? we know he was part of the sun king's army, he was the 'Dark General', the king used sarcean's dark power on his army and paraded him around on his cavalcade, but always kept a tight hold on him. we learn that the lady was not allowed to be with him, that when exposed to the world the king always made clear to say that sarcean was different, that he was dark, manipulative and a threat. you can sense that sarcean was inside the king's court, but he was never really welcomed, he was there to be a weapon ? controlled ? both ? then once sarcean tries to 'betray' the king, he throws sarcean in a prison. sarcean is then saved by visander who eventually will become a champion of the light, but used to be loyal to sarcean. he falls for the lady, briefly, but then he falls for anharion. he gets anharion's loyalty and becomes the dark king.
now we see will, born from a mother that resented him, that was from the blood that should destroy him, from the same light that the sun king irradiated. a mother who kept him alive only so she could control him, keep him on a tight hold. a mother that then tries to kill him, but only puts him on this path to eventually encounter a kind of guardian from the light that helps him escape imprisonment. he falls for katherinne, briefly, but then falls for james that naturally swears his loyalty to him.
with will's story, for me at least, it is very clear that everything that happens with james and will in the present is an echo, a metaphor for what has happened in the past. they are truly reborned. pacat insinuates that in many points of the book, these are not only "coincidences" they are reflexes of their past lives.
"of course you are." the end of the first book is meaning that yes james is following will because that is what he was meant to be doing. but, in the present, james gives his loyalty to will willingly. no collar is needed, he just naturally trusts will because will was the only person in his life that wanted to set him free.
so if we follow with this logic that, whatever happens now is a reflex of what happened in the past, then sarcean didn't have to collar anharion to get his loyalty, that maybe he even represented freedom to anharion. this collar is sooo sketchy (and i just know it will end up just being some kinky shit sarcean and anharion were into)
jokes aside, we already learned by now that apparently everything about this collar was just inventions of the greedy that had it through history. one thing pacat is really heavy on this series is about how stories can be changed, specially as time passes. just look at the stewards.
to strengthen my point let's think about the time will confronts cyprian saying that it was acceptable for the stewards to use dark magic for the good but will can't use his own powers for good. idk sounds maybe something like the sun king using sarcean's power on his army, but also placing him like a terrible evil creature ?? uhhh ok then!
now dive into james story then, born in a home that pledged about serving the light, about opposing the darkness, but that when they find out about who a kid supposedly is they all turn against him, try to kill a child for something they don't even really understand. so he runs away and finds a new home in the darkness, in the memories of a dark king that he carries inside of him. he becomes "the traitor" for his family. for the light. once again the story seems to be retold.
so that makes one think that anharion maybe had his reasons to betray the sun king, that his loyalty to the darkness could be a refuge. freedom.
i'm not very good writing my thoughts down, i have so many on this and wanted to see if anyone else shared these, so please comment your theories here if you wish! i'd love to hear some more thoughts.

Itty Bitty Sinners Chapter 1.1: The Test!
Tumblr media
Summary: Classification tests aren't typically taken by sinners, they're usually taken by the hellborn. But still Charlie decides it might benefit the hotel if everyone took the test so they can better understand them.....Chaos ensues
Notes: Hazbin hotel be like: You’ve been waiting for years and now you have this super dark yet meaningful story about mythology, the complexity of human nature as well as other worldy beings, redemtion, abuse, abusive relationships, substance use, toxicity, redemtion, corrupt systems and overall the fight between good and evil and how it's more complex than we're lead to belive.
Me be like: Aw! Babies! 😍
⚠️ READ ME! ⚠️This work is an Age regression/Classification fic. So there will be things such as Diapers and their usage, pacifiers, cribs, bottles, exc.But there will also be cursing and talking about sex, abuse, drugs, alcohol and lots of adult things when characters are out of headspace, and it also mentions some trauma. (Any future trigger warnings will be added to chapter notes if needed. Be careful.)
❤️Age regression is not sexual, it’s a safe coping mechanism.If this ain't your thing. Just don't read it.💜
Tumblr media
“Okay everyone! Today I have a bit of an experiment for you all.” Charlie announces. “You are all going to be taking the infamous Classification test!”
“The what now?” Angel asks.
“This test will determine what kind of person you are! And it will help us better understand your needs to better help you. The types in question are: Littles, Caregivers, Babysitters, Pet regressors, Handlers, Guardians, and neutrals.” She explains. “Hellborns take this test when they turn fifteen to find out their best possible place in our society to live their best lives!”
“Wait, so all hellborns take this test?” Angel asks.
“Yeah, is that new information for you?” Vaggie asks. “It's pretty common knowledge.”
“I have never heard of that!” Angel says.
“You know, you should go outside every now and then, maybe you'll learn something.” Vaggie says.
“Do you have any idea what happens when I go outside?” Angel asks her. “Not a lot of learning happening.”
“Don't worry, I have all the definitions riiight here. I'll read them out for you.” Charlie says. She clears her throat and reads through the classifications: “First we have: Littles or regressors, these people will often regress to a younger state of mind to help them cope with day to day life. They're usually traumatized individuals who either had to grow up too fast or those who had a bad childhood, regressing allows them to heal their inner child. They also need to be properly taken care of by Caregivers.”
Angel raises an eyebrow, but Charlie continues:
“Caregivers are the ones assigned to take care of littles, these people usually have natural instincts
Much little Littles, Caregivers are thought to have a traumatic past but they cope by helping others.” Charlie explains.
“Guardians or ‘protectors’ I think is pretty self explanatory. These people are very strong, fearless leaders who are very protective of their loved ones.” She reads, smiling at Vaggie at that part.
“Pets or pet regressors are a lot like Littles, except instead of regressing to a child's mindset, they regress to an animal mindset.”
“And Handlers are a lot like Caregivers except for pets. Usually Caregivers and Handlers go hand in hand, so it's rare for someone to get this classification.” Charlie explains.
“And what's the purpose of these tests? Like what happens to you afterwards?” Angel asks.
“Well, anyone who gets at least fifty percent little on the test will be assigned a caregiver, either a parent could adopt them, or a partner,” Charlie holds Vaggie's hand. “Or they'll be taken to an adoption center to meet their adoptive caregiver or assigned caregiver. A caregiver assigned by the people who run the program. Usually this is a last resort though.”
“Caregivers are very similar, having to have a little, and if they don't have one, they'll be assigned one.” Vaggie adds. “They usually can't get away without having one. Unless they're royal or have kids that is.”
Angel's mouth hangs open. “...And this is just something you do? You assign people to other people and force them to live their life based solely on a random test they took when they were fifteen?!” Angel asks.
“Yup, pretty much.” Vaggie says.
“And you're all just fine with this?!” Angel asks.
“It's a flawed system, I will admit. But it has helped a lot of people too.” Charlie says.
“In what way?” Angel asks.
“Well, Littles have someone to take care of them, and Caregivers have someone to take care of.” Charlie explains.
“That's stupid.” Angel says. “I am not taking that test.”
“Oh, come on, Angel. We just want to help you.” Charlie says. “Everyone is going to be taking to, so you won't be alone.”
“Who says I'm taking that test?” Husk asks as Vaggie tries to hand him one.
“Everyone is taking it.” Charlie says again. “It'll be fun!”
“Wait a minute, if all the hellborn take this test, does that mean…you've taken the test?” Angel asks Charlie.
“Oh yeah, of course!” Charlie says.
“If you're going to be knowing our results, isn't it only fair that we know yours?” He asks.
“Okay. Well, I'm a classified caregiver and little.” She says, moving some hair back awkwardly when mentioning the little part.
“You can be both?” Angel asks.
“Yup, 50/50. She says.
“Well, just because you're okay with it, doesn't mean I am.” Angel says.
“What's wrong, Angel? Scared?” Husk asks.
“No.” Angel says. “I just-” Angel didn't know how to say it. “Fuck you!”
“Come on, Angel. Get on board.” Charlie encourages, handing him the test.
Angel takes it and looks through it skeptically.
Suddenly Charlie gets a phone call. She checks her phone but her eyes widen. “Oh.” She looks at everyone and presses the phone close to her chest. “Uhh… I'll be right back, you guys just answer these questions as honestly as you can.” Charlie instructs before walking out.
Vaggie looks at Charlie with concern and wordlessly follows her into the other room.
~~~Charlie and Vaggie:~~~
Charlie got off the phone quickly, the phone conversation only lasted a few minutes, and even then she exclusively answered with small answers:  ‘mhm’ ‘sure’ ‘uh..okay.’ and finally ‘Yeah, bye.’
“Everything okay, Charlie?” Vaggie asks.
“Everything is super!” She says, smiling brightly and adding extra enthusiasm to her voice to make sure Vaggie wasn't suspicious.
“Oh good. So, who was on the phone?” Vaggie asks.
“Just- my dad. Don't worry about it. It's nothing.” Charlie says.
Charlie was about to leave, but Vaggie grabbed her hand. “Hey, you know you can tell me anything….right?”
“Of course I know that, silly.” Charlie laughs. “Everything is fine, I promise.” She says.
“Okay…I trust you.” Vaggie shrugs, keeping a smile on her face.
What else could she do? If something is wrong but Charlie doesn't want to talk about it, it would be wrong to pressure her.
Charlie grabs Vaggie’s hand and smiles kindly. “Let's go back to the others. Also, you need to take the test too. I wanna see your results.”
Vaggie rolls her eyes. “As if you don’t know what I am already? You're the one taking care of me all the time.”
“I'm just curious.” Charlie says. “And of course I will always take care of you, we take care of each other. It's kind of our job.” She chuckles.
Vaggie smirks. “Well, yeah. But, you're not as young as I am.” She says.
“Or as absolutely adorable!” Charlie baby talks.
“No way, you're way cuter, little or not.”
“You keep thinking that.” Charlie says, booping her beloved girlfriend's nose. “But we both know you're the cutest little ever.” ~
~~~Husk~~~
“Come on, Angel. Get on board.” Angel mocks once Charlie left the room.
“That bitch is hiding something.” Husk says. “I can tell.”
“Who cares? I have work to do.” Angel says, getting up and leaving the test behind.
“It's the weekend.” Husk says.
“Yeah, but Val has a party tonight and he wants me to help…entertain the guests. If you know what I mean.” He smirks.
Husk rolls his eyes as Angel smiles at himself. He always looks so proud to get under his skin or make him feel uncomfortable.
“You sure you don't want to take this with you?” Husk asks. “The princess won't be too happy when she finds out you're walking out on yet another activity.” Husk smirks in an attempt to tease him back. “...You might get in trouble.”
Angel gasps. “Oh please, I'm so scared.” He says sarcastically. “She won't do anything. The worst thing she could do is tell me she's very disappointed in me or some shit.” He scoffs, continuing to walk away.
“Angel?” Husk asks him.
“What?” Angel asks.
“Just…be careful. Okay?” He asks.
Angel frowns for a moment, then smiles. “Yeah…I will. Thanks.”
Alastor looks over at the cat, and smiles at Husk wordlessly.
“Mind your own fucking business!” Husk snaps at him.
Alastor laughs. “Well, if you didn't make everything so obvious, perhaps I would.”
“I don't know what you're talking about.” Husk says.
Alastor chuckles. “Of course you don't.”
Husk looks away from Al, turning his attention on anyone else-
It's what he always does… he observes.
Sir Pentious and Niffty were already working on their tests, Niffty rather fast and violent and Pentious very slow and hesitant.
“This test is impossible!” Sir Pentious complains. “How can they expect me to answer these hard questions? What am I supposed to put for gender?”
Husk looks at the test, the questions varies from mildly personal, complicated, to way too personal: “How do you deal with your failure?” He reads out loud. Wondering how the fuck that could tell them their place in…
As Charlie put it: ‘Society,’
“I put down: kill tiny things and drink their blood.” Niffty says.
“Blow stuff up!” Sir Pentious says. “Or perhaps I'd try try again? Oo! Both!”
“You are all such a pleasure to have around.” Alastor says. Very quickly finishing his test with no issues.
Husk was honestly surprised he was going along with this. He probably found the idea hilarious.
Husk sighs, normally he wouldn't engage with something like this either, but he knew Charlie wouldn't stop bothering him if he didn't. It was a lot easier to just do it and then get the rest of his day over with.
~~~Charlie:~~~
Charlie enthusiastically returns to the main room. “So, how's everyone doing?” She asks. “Where's Angel?” She asks before anyone could answer her first question.
“He left.” Husk says.
“Oh.” Charlie says. “That's…fine. He can just take it when he gets back!” She says.
Vaggie sighs. “When is he finally going to take anything we do seriously?”
“I don't think Angel knows what serious is.” Husk says.
They continue their tests, and Vaggie starts hers.
~~~~A few minutes later:~~~
“Finished!” Niffty says, handing her test back to Charlie.
“Perfect, thank you Niffty.” Charlie says.
“This test is impossible!” Pentious says. “How am I supposed to know all these personal questions?”
“Don't over think it.” Charlie says. “Just write the first thing that comes to mind.”
Husk leaves his test on the table, and Alastor leaves his on the floor, then both of them go back to their business.
Vaggie picked them up so as not to lose them.
~~~Charlie and Vaggie, Later:~~~
All Charlie had to do was scan the tests on their computer and the test results would print themselves. They had gotten access to the program the test centers use. Perks to being the princess of hell.
Her and Vaggie both awaited the answers for everyone.
“This will be so great! Getting to know everyone better so we can help them." Charlie says. "I can't wait to find out what the results are!"
“Just- be careful. Okay? I don't want you to blow this out of proportion.” Vaggie says.
“Psh, Vaggie! When have I ever done that?”
“When you found out I was a little, you bought me the whole little store!” Vaggie says.
“I gave it back after you told me to.” Charlie says. “I just wanted to make sure you had everything you needed.”
“I know.” Vaggie says. “I just want to make sure you don't get yourself hurt...or scare anyone away. You know?"
“Ooo! Your results are in!” Charlie squeals, grabbing the paper from the printer.
Vaggie rolls her eyes, but she's still smiling. She can't help it, Charlie is too cute. “What does it say?”
“Fifty percent little, fifty percent guardian!” Charlie says. “As I expected.” She says, in some sort of accent to make her sound smarter.
“Sounds right.” She says.
The next results get printed. “Husker!” Charlie  sings.
Vaggie grabs the paper and reads it. “Seventy-five guardian, twenty five Neutral.”
“Niffty: Fifty percent Handler and…” Charlie tilts her head. “And unclassifyable nonsense.” She reads.
Vaggie nods. “Also sounds right.”
“Ooo, Sir Pentious is sixty percent little and fourty percent neutral.” Charlie says. “Little snake!” Charlie squeals.
“Okay, calm down there.” Vaggie laughs, taking the paper from Charlie. “Just grab the last one so we can get started planning the actual activities.”
Charlie grabs the final test result. “Uhhh.”
“What does it say?” Vaggie asks taking the paper from her.
Charlie couldn't even answer, she just stayed quietly shocked as Vaggy looked over the results.
Vaggie's eyes widen. “There's no. Fucking. Way.”
let's make no mistake about it, i genuinely find lilia one of the most fascinating characters in twst— a 700 yr old fae who spent centuries as the most revered general of briar valley, confidant to the royal family, did an about-turn to fatherhood immediately upon finding an abandoned baby and now romps around a school campus with said son and the heir apparent to the draconia family pretending to be 680 years younger than he actually is???? fucking insane.
we know absolutely nothing about his own personal life; no immediate family to speak of (besides his adopted son), and we can safely assume they're no longer among the living. we have no idea what his own childhood was like, but i think we can extrapolate by the way that he initially raised silver that it wasn't conventional. were tensions always so high between fae and humans, did lilia simply grow up in a time where war was a common occurrence, that to serve in the briar valley army was the obvious path to take? we can only gather bits and pieces about his previous lifestyle from his card lines, and it would seem that his life prior to silver was a harsh one, with little to no time for personal amusement or exploration of interests.
and one doesn't just become a renown general fitting for the history books by simply leading an army for so many years— it's clear that he was so very good at it. did he too share the fae consensus that humans were not to be trusted, and if so, at what point did that begin to change? was it truly raising silver that altered his perspective? and more to that point, can we assume that he was truly looking for the boy as his new card title suggests? and if so, why? was it for silver's unique magic, did he really come from royalty, was he considered a threat to the draconias? does any of this have to do with the disappearance of malleus' parents so many centuries prior??
i'm so torn between the idea of lilia being instructed to find and raise silver for some greater purpose and over time, realizing how much he's grown to care and love the child, versus the idea of somehow this little baby being enough to give the fierce general pause, to take him in as his own. i also wonder if lilia even proclaimed himself as silver's father to begin with, or if that's simply a title silver gave him on his own and only then did the ramifications of what he meant to the boy truly sink in. it must have been such a shock, the realization that a human could look up at him with such pure love and think of him as a father— for what does he know of rearing a child, and a human one at that? lilia himself even admits this at countless points, and the more we learn of silver's childhood, the more clear it becomes that while the mutual affection is truly there, the understanding of how to properly care for another being of any kind is clearly lacking.
which is understandable when we think of lilia's past experiences— he was simply a guardian, a 'bodyguard' to an extent to malleus, and someone who intervened to provide the kind of life lessons and guidance that an absent father figure could no longer give. but he did not raise the prince, nor was he responsible for caring for him daily. if what we know so far is to be believed, there was little to no time of lilia's role as a general to his departure and caring for silver. for once in his life, he gets to taste the unfettered freedom of no longer shouldering the weight of a nation's protection, and to be frank, goes a little mad with it. it makes sense why he was cavorting around the world while leaving silver at home, he simply never got to enjoy these freedoms before and perhaps selfishly took advantage of that fact while neglecting the ramifications of leaving a child to care for itself (especially one with a narcoleptic condition).
(and even now he kind of seeks that familiar comfort of warfare— we see him gaming as a kind of warlord with idia, which makes sense that he was unable to fully part with that portion of his identity if it truly made up his entire persona for nearly 600 years.)
anyways all this to say that i have no doubt that lilia truly cares for silver. but i think there's something to be said for fae emotional differences, and that he massively underestimates or doesn't know how to acknowledge that silver loves him before even himself. that the things he does to his family (re halloween, his departure party) are ignorantly cruel at best. at the same time, how could you blame him? as a general and being accustomed to loss of life, what is the use of a long, drawn out goodbye? and to have spent the majority of his life in such a mindset, it's understandable, even if reprehensible, to apply this logic to silver, malleus, and sebek. on the flip side, how utterly fascinating how lilia seems to be fooling himself with these forced and abrupt goodbyes— he admits it himself that he fears becoming weak before his family, that vulnerability so at odds with the kind of power and strength he wielded for years.
i have absolutely no idea what the next part of ch7 will bring us, but i really cannot wait to explore more of lilia in his general years, at the height of his glory. and i really do hope that we get the truth of what we all know— his happiest dream, his sweetest memory, being that of when he found silver at last. how fitting would that be, especially for silver who had wept miserably to malleus about his failures to lilia as his son. how fitting to know that lilia does not see him in that way, that his happiest moment that he would choose to relive and dream is the one where he gathers up silver in his arms, and inevitably sets in motion his course to become his father.
TFP Yandere Bumblebee- The Devoted Yandere
Really hard bot to write for- he's too dang wholesome
Bumblebee had first noticed you when you were walking around town. You always had a skip in your step as you hummed to whatever music that was playing through your headphones.
You were the music teacher at Raf’s school, one that he spoke very highly of. You were one of the kinder teachers. You often let Raf hide away in your classroom from bullies, or even stopped them yourself.
You began to get worried when you noticed Raf get into a sports car everyday after school. Sometimes he would come to school with bags under his eyes. He said it was just some nightmares- but what child has this many nightmares?
You began investigating his home life to make sure he was safe. Every time he would come into your room, you would question him about his daily life. How was his relationship with his parents? Was he happy at home? He would often be short with his answers. He always spoke kindly of his parents though.
Then you asked about his friends. He went on about his friend Bee (which you assumed was a nickname). Bee was his new friend, who was in the same robotics club Jack and Miko were in. Bee owned the sports car.
You were instantly suspicious of how anyone could afford a sports car in Jasper, Nevada. So, one day, you were determined to make sure all of the kids were safe.
You followed the sports car into the desert from a distance. They caught on pretty quickly and circled back into town.
The next day after that happened, you got there before that car did and parked behind a huge rock formation. You saw the yellow sports car begin to drive towards the mesa wall in fear when it opened up.
You sat in your car for a moment before you feared the worst and drove immediately to where the car had disappeared from. All you could hope was that Raf wasn’t in something horrible.
You looked around the rock wall, and felt around until you felt an oddly metal-feeling part of the rock. You pulled it open only to find that it was a door.
As quickly and quietly as you could you snuck into the long hallway, pulling out your pepper spray.
Soon you entered a large hangar, only to find giant robots.
Your feet froze in place. Before you could stop yourself, a small whimper of fear left your throat.
That made everyone in the room turn to look at you with their piercing blue optics. One of them cursed under their breath, which snapped you out of your stupor. You quickly pulled out the pepper spray and aimed it at them with shaking hands.
“There was a boy that came in here. Where is he?!” You yelled at them.
“Teacher (L/N)?” a small voice came from above. There stood Raf, looking over the railing down at you.
Soon enough, everything was explained to you. You were hesitant to leave Raf there, but he seemed happy. You had scolded him for not being honest up front- though you understood why.
You officially met “Bee”, learning that his name was actually Bumblebee. He seemed kind enough, and you could understand what he was saying. Bumblebee was super excited that another human could understand him!
Bee became a guardian to you, since you hung around Raf a lot. Bee’s infatuation with you was pretty quick. He would often follow you around like a puppy would its owner.
Whenever Bumblebee would drive you home, he would wait outside of your house for as long as he could. He believed that cons were surely after you! After all, who wouldn't want someone as cute and wonderful as you? Whenever he wasn't on a mission, he would trail behind you- never enough so that you'd notice, though. He's a scout and he knows how to track people. If you ever did catch him, he'd say that he was wondering if you needed a ride anywhere, or as if you were going to base that day.
Sometimes, you’d leave small items in his alt-mode. A pencil here and there, a paper with your writing on it. A scrunchie that you either kept for yourself or your students. A shirt with your scent on it. Maybe you left you phone in the car while you ran into the store that he so graciously offered to take you to. Maybe he downloaded pictures that you'd taken of yourself and your friends and sent it to himself.
All of it he would stash away in a secret drawer in his habsuite. He didn’t mean to start his collection at first- he was just keeping it there to return it to you later. He just forgot at first but surely you wouldn’t miss a few things? And Bee would always return it if you asked. Maybe.
You’d never notice any change in his behavior. He is much too shy to let you know his feelings. As long as he’s friends with you, he won’t have to do anything rash- so he hopes you’ll never try to leave him. He’d hate to have to lock you away until you learned to love him too.
If a con ever dared to touch you, they'd learn just how far he'd go to protect you. They might even confuse him for a con' with how brutal he'd be.
Determined to keep your head low in order to keep your son safe, you take on the moniker of OfJoel. Commander Miller has very little to do with you and mrs. Miller regards you with disgust, however you find solace in an unlikely friendship with Commander Miller’s daughter from a handmaid 14 years ago, Ellie who just got done with wives school. You and your friend, Ofthomas start teacher her and her friend Reilly under her mothers nose. Slowly, Commander Miller begins spending time with you and you begin to learn more about the man he was before and an affair begins outside the confines of the ceremony. Although initially you go along with it out if survival, you find yourself falling for the version of Joel you saw in these late night rendezvous.
Which Joel is really him, and how will he react when his own daughters secrets are revealed?
Content and Warnings: DARK JOEL! DUB CON!
Although no violent rape happens like in TWW, reader is under systemic misogyny and a society of ritualized sex abuse. Everything other than the violent rape scenes, everything that happen in either The Handmaids Tale book or show are liable to happen here including but not limited to discussion of rape, child abuse, child marriage, ritualized sexual abuse, sexual abuse in general, acts of violence, major character deaths, mentions of miscarriage but never shown and never pregnancies we know of. Big ole homophobia warning, specifically in regards to lesbophobia. As for Joel, PIV sex, breeding kink, degrading (slut, whore etc but thing like Raider!joel) forced breeding and breeding kink, power dynamics, Joel is not the good guy but he’s also not the worst, slightly rough sex but not violent. Warnings are liable to be added as the story goes but I’ll always update. As always if I miss something please tell me, but i extensively label my warnings and in the end media consumption is your own choice. If you would like to know if this is a happy ending or not you can message me and I’ll tell you that way I don’t spoil for everyone but you can decide if this is for you.
Immersability: Reader has long hair, can conceive children theoretically. At one point, she has to pose as Ellie's mother and I know this can be loaded in terms of skin tone. I am no genetics expert but I know dark skinned parents can have white passing children, like Lional Richie and Nicole Richie. It's up to you to see if this is going to take you out of the story or not.
Support writers, reblog and leave comments!
Additional warnings: forced blowjob but reader is into it. Still dub con bc the nature of everything.
*******************
It was a strange feeling, knowing the entire household was keeping track of your monthly cycle. Mrs. Miller had been cued in by Aunt Lydia of where you were at last week, and since then you were told the date of the next ceremony; the night during the highpoint of your fertility. You wondered, not the first time, why the ceremony was only once a month, not during the entire time of ovulation, or why not two or three times a day… but you supposed that’s where the wives would draw a line. No rights to reading or education, no voice, no power. One wrong move and you too can become the victim of ritualized rape… but no, your husband fucking a random woman more than *checks notes you aren’t actually allowed to read* once a month is too far.
Internal humor is how to cope. The reality of the situation was terrifying, but it’s not like you were shocked by the idea. You had grown up your whole life knowing this would be your fate if you strayed; well, if you strayed and you were fertile. That fertility is what landed you in this problem in the first place.
It wasn’t love. There was no grand story to it. You were married at 15 to a man in his 20’s who hit you, as was his right. Even that wasn’t as dramatic as it could have been, just slaps, shoved into furniture, things of that sort. When a local guardian made advances, you took him up on it. The sex was fine, and eventually produced a baby; your son, who looked just like his real father.
The guardian was sent to a new local and seemed indifferent to his son who was placed with some commander and his wife. You didn’t even get to say goodbye to him. He probably has a new name now, something biblical, and you often wonder what it is, what word it is that calls his attention. Babies recognize their name around 6 months after all. Benjamin? Levi? Asa? You named him… well, that doesn’t really matter now. It’s a name he’ll never know as his.
Angela had a better story. There was a group of you, a few other handmaids in your region and Angela rallied you all together, sharing your real names and stories. She had lived one hell of a life, always brave. As a low ranking wife she went behind her husbands back for the underground resistance at the young age of 16 and was pregnant a few times, none of which made it very long. For ten years she fought against Gilead, continuing the tradition of her youth. Hell, even before Gilead’s official formation she fought, being a part of pro-LGBT and women’s rights activism since middle school. After her husband was killed in war a guardian attempted to rape her and Angela stabbed him to death. Badass. Gilead didn’t see it that way, despite espousing wanting to protect women. She was going to be hung, of course, but a pregnancy test reviled she was pregnant again, a baby she carried to term, this time. He died of illness a few months later. Regardless, she’d had a healthy baby, and was sent to Thomas Miller’s for her first posting last year.
Aunt Lydia had told Angela that this commander Miller would suit her temperament and you understood what that meant. Angela had confirmed the impression that you had gotten early that week.
Thomas Miller had kind eyes. The kind of eyes that warmed you, relaxed you. You bet he was a charmer in another life. The brothers seemed close, Joel- Commander Miller you mean, lighting up around him like you only see with Elizabeth.
Commander Miller adored his daughter, that much was clear. Many men in Gilead only viewed their children -especially daughters- as possessions or pawns, but it was clear it wasn’t like that between them. You wondered if that closeness is why she wasn’t married yet. At 14 she had been out of wives school for a few months, and it was time to at least get her betrothed. God forbid she waste of moment of potential fertility. Yet, Commander Miller didn’t even seem to be looking.
 Few knew more than him how dangerous it was as a woman in this world, and Elizabeth wasn’t a woman- she was a child, still. Commander Miller also seemed aware that Elizabeth was… particular. She only had one friend, Riley, a child from before the handmaid system who was married already. Mrs. Jones, she was called by Lisa, you and Mrs. Miller (who always tried to do things by the book). Joel refused to call her Mrs. Jones, saying “I’m not addressing a child who I’ve been forced to play dolls with as Mrs. anything. She’s Riley to me.” Outside though he did things right. Can’t be too familiar with another man’s wife, even if he’s known that wife since she was in pull ups.
The ceremony was tonight, and it seemed like everyone knew. Angela did, but only because you mentioned it.
“Got any questions?” She asked you, always the older sister, even if she only had a few years on you.
“Believe it or not, I’m not a virgin.” You joke back.
Angela laughs and nudges you with her shoulder. “I know, it’s just your first ceremony. I mean, it’s pretty straightforward to what they teach you in the Rachel and Leah Center, only-” She seemed to shut herself off with that, but you urge her on.
“Only what? You can’t leave me there.”
She swallowed thickly before attempting again, somewhere between a cringe and a childish giggle. “Well, you know, genetically-”
“Angela.”
“Brothers have similarities-”
“Just say it!”
Angela stopped, pulling you in to whisper. “Tommy has a massive cock.”
You stand there frozen in shock until a guardian shouts at you to keep moving and stop whispering. There was a lot there, including the implication that if they share genetic similarities, Joel might be harder to take than expected, especially without foreplay, but the thing that really struck you, the thing that sent your mind whirling was how Angela phrased it. She called Commander Miller, Tommy.
*
He was handsome, Commander Miller. At least there was that. Another handmaid, Ofglen, was stuck with a 70 year old man. Several girls had commented in hushed whispers that you and Ofthomas were luck; the Miller brothers were a dream posting, comparatively. So many men were ugly, old, or cruel. Ofhim had scars from lashes on her back. Some of the wives were worse, Ofcole’s wife would starve her when her monthly cycle proved the ceremony useless. Mrs. Miller was a pain and was rude, but she’d never take anything like that into he own hands. She wanted to play the part of dutiful wife so bad. That didn’t stop her from constantly making digs at her daughter.
Mrs. Miller requested your aid in her garden once, using you to dump all her feelings. She confessed the reason you were here was her doing; Elizabeth had proven a failure in her eyes, and she wanted another child to raise, to start over. She said her father spoiled her, let her get away with to much. Commander Miller refused to physically discipline her, and Mrs. Miller was insistent that that’s what the girl needed. Commander Miller reminded her she was just a teenager, and Mrs. Miller countered that she is a woman, not a child. You were married off young and it had seemed fine. You felt like an adult. But now you look at Elizabeth and think ‘did I look that young? Did I seem that childlike?’
Mrs. Miller had expressed that she had hoped wives school would fix her, or that maybe after coming back, Riley’s influence would be good. Ellie’s friend, Riley, was 16 and was married to a man in his 20’s, both children from before who had been taken from an unworthy family. An age gap, but certainly not the worse you’d seen, certainly, but now you were near her husbands age the the idea of marrying a 16 year old…
All this to say, Commander Miller was a blessing. You’d been lying if you said you never thought of him when you masturbated. And of course you masturbated. His sweaty body all encompassing around you, brown curls falling on his face, his facial hair on your skin…
*
It was time for the ceremony, you and Mrs. Miller were in your respective positions, you laid up between Gina’s spread legs in her blue dress, her hand gripping your arms with your legs bent. Commander Miller emerged from the bathroom and your chest tightened at the sight of him, knowing what was coming. The pomp and circumstance had passed, the prays having been done in the living room with members of the household: You, Commander Miller, Mrs. Miller, Lisa, and the driver, Isaac. There had been a passive aggressive spat between Mrs. and Commander Miller on the idea of Elizabeth attending the prayers.
Mrs. Miller: “She needs to participate in household activities”
Commander Miller: “It’s bad enough she knows whats going on, I don’t need her to participate.”
Mrs. Miller: “She’ll be a wife soon enough herself, god-willing she’ll have a handmaid of her own!”
“God-willing she won't need to!”
Mrs. Miller scoffed. “As if God would find her worthy in her state!”
Commander Miller grew deadly calm, jaw set in a tense gaze as he stared at his wife, you and Elizabeth standing on the other side of the room. “Woman, you do not speak about her like that again, understood?”
The intensity of his eyes must have been warning enough, Gina backing down. “Yes sir.”
He straightened up. “Ellie, you are excused. Gina, drop it.”
The tension had carried over into the bedroom, the air thick with it as the reality of what was going to happen settled in. Commander Miller’s bulge was prominent even in his dark pants, having worked himself up alone before coming out here and undressing once again. Just pulling down his pants and underwear, god forbid you see him shirtless. This wasn’t for your pleasure, you filthy whore, this wasn’t even for his. This was for you to bare him and his wife a child. A son to lead the family in righteousness, or a daughter to bare more children and so on. This was a job.
You hear a spit and the distinct sound of masturbation, then a few more spitting sounds. It took everything in you to not look at him, keeping your eyes glued on the ceiling but the picture was clear in his head. The tall, broad, powerful commander furiously jerking off the the site of your body spread of before him. Was that for you? Or was he looking at his wife? He sure didn’t seem very fond of her, but there was no denying she was beautiful.
“Joel, do you really need to do that? It’s obscene.”
“Well you can’t expect her to take it dry when you can barely-”
“Joel!”
“Well unless you want me to-”
“JOEL!”
You couldn’t help it, opening your eyes to see him, his face scowling but eyes with a glint of mischief. He was fucking with her, purposefully embaressing her infront of a lowly handmaid to get back at her for what she said about Elizabeth.
When Commander Miller slid into you, you were suddenly acutely aware that this was going to be difficult. Slowly he moved inside and the inches just. Kept. Coming. Your breath hitched and you bite down on your lip trying to keep any possible sound from coming out, no gasps of pain that could be mistaken for pleasure. The stretch was unbearable by the time Joel was fully sheathed inside of you, thrusting as the tears pricked up in your eyes. It would be quick. There was no presence of needing to last, at least. Just get it done. Fill you up and hopefully you conceive. Problem was… the stretch.
 It wasn’t your fault, really. It was natural, wasn’t it? Even under these circumstances. Or maybe you were a harlot, only redeemable by producing a child for a high value man. That's why you were in this position, right? You could feel yourself getting wet and you wished he would hurry up before the smell of sex and arousal fill the room, before the fucking sound became impossible to ignore. The warmth in your belly grew, tightening, the feeling of being filled so completely was just dizzying and you needed him to finish, now.
Then it happened, the orgasm hitting you so hard your eyes rollback in your head and it takes everything you have not to cry out. You can only pray Joel isn’t looking at your face as you attempt to stifle every bodily reaction as you pulse around him. Warmth floods your insides when he stills inside you, a light groan from his lips. He’s allowed to make a few sounds; he’s the man, after all. It’s supposed to feel good for him, but for you? This was wrong. This was bad, and you were going to be in a fuck ton of trouble now. Aunt Lydia never said anything about orgasming. Did the law have a specific article about this, or was it left up to the commander's discretion? You hadn’t seen Joel raise a hand to Gina yet, but you were only a week in. You open your eyes, daring to take a peak at Commander Miller in order to gauge your future.
You can see him smiling at you before tucking himself back into his pants to go clean up. Mrs. Miller instructed you to lay there for a while, bettering the chances of it taking, and left the room. When Commander Miller exited the bathroom and returned to the bed chambers, he excused you with a soft “You can go now, darl’n”
*
Another 2 weeks went by without incident, and it appeared Commander Miller wasn’t going to do or say anything about your embarrassing indiscretion. Angela had told you to play with yourself before the ceremony to get yourself wet, but you had been too scared of this exact scenario happening. Fat lot of good it did you, huh?
Unfortunately for everyone involved, you got your period as expected. One would think you didn’t want to get pregnant. The odds of dying in child birth had increased despite growing technology. It was the pregnancy complications and the insistence of home births even when the pregnancy was warning them not too. Gilead’s obsession with rituals meant that there was also an extensive one for childbirth and that obsession rendered many women dead. In addition to that, there’s the horror of growing a child inside you, and even if it was a healthy pregnancy and that child lives, after a period of breastfeeding you are taken away from the life you created to go to another posting.
If you produce a child and remain behaved, when you are no longer of birthing age, you get to retire in peace. Whatever that meant. You weren’t sure you entirely cared, one way or another, but the idea of the wall was scary. 3 postings, 3 years per posting, this was your window.
You often heard Elizabeth sneaking downstairs after the household went to sleep; always after Joel went down. Your room was right by the stairs, so you heard it all. God knows you aren’t sleeping.
You were bored. So bored. Bored enough to sneak downstairs after Ellie and go investigate, so you do. Slowly and carefully you go down stairs and find Commander Miller’s office, creeping up to the door to listening. You hear music. Music that was supposed to have been destroyed a decade ago, and you take a moment to enjoy the sound. Steady acoustic guitar, soft male singing.
“Can we listen to it again?” Ellie’s voice spoke from behind the door.
“After your lesson.” Commander Miller.
“UUUGGGHHH”
“I thought you wanted to learn?”
“I do…” Ellie acquiesced, and you can hear the sounds of pulling a book off a shelf and opening it. Biology. Commander Miller was teaching Ellie biology. This was unheard of, especially for a commander's daughter, a woman who was supposed to be getting married off soon. She didn’t need to learn science, to listen to ungodly music? So why was a high ranking Commander not only allowing it, but teaching her?
You move to go back upstairs where you belong, but the creak of the floor gives you away. White-hot panic, the kind where everything runs hot and the world suddenly feels funny floods your system. You freeze, hoping to God no one heard you. That goes out the window when the door flies open, Commander Miller spotting you and yanking you inside the room by the dress.
“What the hell are you doing here?!” He shouts, loud and angry and so close to you that you can smell his breath.
“Dad?” A panicked Ellie stood to the side, drawing your attention. She looked terrified, and you felt sorry for scaring the poor girl.
Joel gripped your face, fingers digging into his skin as he forced you to look at him. “Eyes on me. You don’t look at her.” Keeping your face forward, Joel turned to Ellie. “Go upstairs, I’ll take care of this.”
“But dad-”
“Ellie. I got this, you go to your room, it’ll talk to you in a bit, okay?”
Ellie nodded, going out the door and only stopped to eye you for a moment.
Joel turned back to you. “What did you hear?”
“Nothing-”
“Liar!” He screamed, fingers pressing harder into your skin.
“I heard the music! And, and some of the lesson, but I won’t say anything I swear-”
“Of course you won’t,” Joel chuckled. “Who are they going to believe? A commander and the first daughter of Gilead, or a handmaid who cums during the ceremony.” Your eyes go wide at that, the way Joel’s grip loosens but never leaves, thumb slowly beginning to trace at your cheeks. “Yeeeah, that’s right, I felt you. Little bitch in heat couldn’t help cumming on cock? Didn’t even need any build up, huh? You just take whatever's given to you. Little whore, all pent up…”
God, he looked good like this; towering over you, broad shoulders closing in on you and making it clear there was nowhere to go. When he placed his thumb at your lips, you didn’t even hesitate to take it in your mouth and begin to bob your head, eyes closing just a little. “Dirty, dirty girl…” Joel taunted. “Just need to get filled up. All that pent up slut, nowhere to go. Tell me, sweet thing… Do you think of me when you touch yourself?”
Your sucking stopped, but Joel continued moving his thumb in your mouth. “Yeah, I know you do. Get on your fucking knees.” He didn’t wait, shoving you down to your knees, his cock entering your mouth before you had a chance to think.
The stretch pried open your mouth, pulling at your chapped and dry lips. The bulbous tip hit the back of your throat and made you gag, but he wasn’t stopping.
“Dirty fucking whore, that’s how you ended up here, isn’t it? Needed to be constantly filled, your husband wasn’t enough?” He thrust into you with vigor, your sputtering sounds only spurring him on more while you breathed through your nose, you couldn’t help but whine, preening at the sensation of a dick in your mouth once again. It felt, so, so good, despite the circumstances. “Don’t you worry, I’ll fill you up alright, fill you up enough you stay full.” His pace began to falter after a few more minutes. “Fill you up with my baby, fulfill your biological destiny like the pretty little whore you are.” You wriggle, trying to get some sory of sensation between your legs as you hungrily sucked at him, desperately needing his cum inside you.
He spilled into you, salty and thick and so fucking good, you swallow down every goddamn drop.
With a hand fisted in your dress, Joel pulled you up and to your feet, shoving you back against the wall as he cleaned up. “You are going to apologize to her, and after that.” Joel was close up against you again. “You are going to keep my daughter’s name out of your fucking mouth.” His tongue flicked out to lick at the corner of your mouth and swiped his tongue over your lips. “After tonight, we on’t be wasting one more drop in your mouth. Every last bit of me goes to filling you up, but this-” He patted your stomach where his cum was heading. “Should keep you satisfied until next time.”
Until next time.
Joel pulled you upstairs and into Ellie’s room where he shoved you forward. You fold your hands in front of you and bow your head, hoping she can’t see any evidence of you being a whore for her father on your face. You doubted Joel would’ve allowed that.
“I’m sorry for intruding, Miss Miller. It won’t happen again.” You are careful not to imply you heard anything, know anything, and certainly not imply that she did anything wrong. Joel wouldn’t stand for that.
“Yeah, whatever.” Was all she replied before Joel sent you out of the room, and all you hear as the door closes is “It’s okay, baby girl. It’s handled.”
But your thoughts were swirling on something else, how turned on you were, how dominant he was, how fucking hot he is, but most important, those last few words.
Until next time.
We get to the spice nice and fast ayyyyyyyyeeee
Why Darius is a much better person than Fandom gives him credit for, and why it matters.
We have all seen them. About this scene.
Tumblr media
81872698236412 memes, comics and textposts where Darius doesn’t give a damn when Luz is in mortal danger, but suddenly starts caring when he hears that Hunter is also trapped.
Now, Fandom seems to love that take, but I loathe it. Gets under my skin, drives me up the wall, can’t fucking stand it.
Why?
Because if Darius were truly the kind of person who is totally cool with letting a little girl die as a result of his own fuck-up, then he’d make a terrible father for Hunter.
The main point of Hunter’s character is that he is horrifically traumatised because he has spent his life with a guardian who is a serial killer of children. Thus, for his recovery, it’s absolutely necessary that his new guardian is a compassionate person. The last thing Hunter needs is a new guardian who is also cool with causing child death.
If Darius were truly the kind of man who think “LOL fuck your kid only mine is worth saving!” then it doesn’t matter if he loves Hunter, he simply wouldn’t be emotionally equipped to take care of a traumatised kid.
LUCKILY DARIUS ISN’T THAT KIND OF MAN.
Here is the evidence that Darius was not telling Raine to abandon Luz.
1) Darius was shocked to learn that Hunter was trapped. But there is absolutely no reason for him to believe that Luz was trapped while Hunter wasn’t.
The last time Darius saw Hunter, Hunter and Luz were practically entangled together over the circle, so why would only Luz be trapped?
Tumblr media
Oh, but maybe Darius and Raine went back to the alley and saw Eda leave alone!
Sure, that could have happened. Except that Hunter left both his artificial staff and his mask in the alley, so if anything going back there would have made it even more obvious that something bad happened TO HUNTER.
Tumblr media
On top of that, Hunter’s palisman was in Eda’s hair as she left, and he definitely wouldn’t have let her take Flapjack willingly.
Tumblr media
2) Darius had repeatedly asked Raine to recruit Eda, but Raine said no because they wanted her to be safely away from the battle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, first of all, Darius wouldn't actually care about revealing himself to Eda. The only reason he is keeping her out of the loop is out of respect for Raine’s wish to keep her safe.
Darius knows that Eda's curse is absolutely necessary to stop the Day Of Unity, but still chooses to stay away from her for her safety despite knowing full well that without her they are at a massive disadvantage. The whole point of the plan to enter Belos’ mind (an insanely reckless plan with very little chance of gaining anything) was that Darius and Raine were desperate to find any possible intel to figure out a way to stop Belos without Eda’s help. And, after that plan failed, Eda was their only hope.
So, no, Darius wouldn’t give a damn about “blowing his cover” with Eda. He is keeping hidden to protect her, not himself.
Second, if Luz died in Belos' mind, Eda would immediately charge at the castle in a roaring rampage of revenge and get killed, making the whole attempt to keep her safe null and void.
3) Here is what Dana Terrace says about Darius in Cissy Jones’ stream about the S2 Finale.
Even if he's still like, a little chaotic, like he has his own plans, like... "even if people get hurt, it's only the small ones" he says, he'll say stuff like that, but at the end of the day he has his priorities, and his priorities are to help people and to care for those that he loves.
That doesn’t sound like the kind of guy who’d watch a little girl get dragged into mortal danger because of his own actions, and go “eh, not my problem!”
That sounds like the guy who sacrificed his day off (presumably his one day off in a year, if Head Witches have the same workload as people in the Emperor’s Coven) to make sure that some kidnapped students were returned safely home.
IN CONCLUSION:
Most likely, Darius and Raine realised that something bad had happened to the kids and were investigating, and Darius stopped Raine from getting too close to the Owl House because he wanted them to be cautious for Eda’s sake, but when he heard that his boy was in immediate danger he freaked out and almost threw all caution to the wind.
Darius cares the most about Hunter because he clearly loves the boy, BUT he wouldn’t have abandoned Luz either. Because Darius is fundamentally a good person, and that’s why he should adopt Hunter.
Hello!!, can we get a part two of blue diamond reader but this time she moved on finding out that pink diamond gave her life for her child and now reader is the guardian/mother of her sisters child. But then one day the child then got attacked by the same god that shattered her dearest sister but the god has an army trying to conquer readers palace so out of rage reader most literally deleted their entire existence without of course feeling her pain and anguish to them, affecting the other gods that's watching this unfold cause the fight took in the middle of a god meeting🧍‍♀️ after the fight reader just went back to spoiling her child lowkey panicking if he got hurt.
And out of lol's i imagine some gods would come up to her kneeling down on one knee and just say "Marry me" simultaneously (for comedic effect) i also imagine that she's taller than most gods cause i saw that blue diamond is actually a giant women🤩 anyway that's all!! You're carrying the ROR fandom by writing these fics❤️‼️
My sweet darling, you’re gonna give me a big ass head with your sweet words!! When I read your request I almost literally cried! You’re so kind!!
-It had been years since Pink had been shattered, years since your heart had been shattered.
-You had hid yourself away, hiding your pain, your sorrow, until news came, news of Pink.
-She had been shattered, that part was true, but she was shattered saving the life of her child, choosing to give her own to keep her son safe.
-The young child was small, smaller than Pink was when she was only a child, but seeing him, seeing your Pink in this child, your heart soared with pure joy.
-With no hesitation whatsoever, you adopted your nephew, raising him with compassion, educating him on anything he wanted to learn, and being the parental figure that he always wanted to have, as he had been living in an orphanage until his powers bloomed, Pink’s powers.
-To celebrate the one-year anniversary of this reunion, you decided to hold a ball and everyone, humans and gods, showed up to help you celebrate.
-Many were put at ease, seeing you smiling so warmly, seeing the child you now cared for so tenderly, a few were a bit jealous, wanting some of your affection for themselves, but this party was for you and your nephew.
-You were speaking to several of the gods when a loud crash was heard and your eyes widened, seeing a large god, one you recognized as the one who had shattered Pink!
-He had escaped after he was being sent to prison, vanishing and you were in anguish that none could find him.
-Behind him was an army of other warriors, ones that wanted to kill the gods, and kill any trace of the Diamond Goddesses.
-Their mistake was going after your nephew, in an instant, your power exploded, sending everyone in attendance to their knees, overwhelmed by your emotions and with one swipe of your hand, the gods and his minions were gone, immediately being turned to dust.
-Jaws were dropped all over, gawking in awe over your breathtaking power, turning to you to see you near tears, holding your nephew, demanding to know if he was okay, only worried about him, and not batting a single eyelash at the gods you just singlehandedly destroyed with one move.
-Once you were calmed down, you heard several voices shout out in unison, “‘MARRY ME!!’” you turned, eyes wide, seeing Hercules, Thor, Loki, Raiden, Lu Bu, Ares, Zeus, Rudra, and Chuck, God of Accounting, all kneeling before you, staring up at you, holding up a hand to you, proposing to you.
-You froze, your mind completely shutting down as you gaped at the mass proposal, unable to process that they all just proposed to you.
I have Feelings™️ about Beakley
She’s a grandmother she’s a spy she’s an agent she’s a director she loves Webby she’s the worst guardian in the manor she judges everyone she’s extremely good at taking care of kids she’s terrible with children she lies like its second nature she’s barely remorseful for her actions she feels terrible about everything she’s done she’s traumatized she’s the most well-adjusted person in the room she’s one wrong move away from blowing up she’s calm and collected but most importantly she’s a hypocrite.
She’s the biggest hypocrite in the mansion and I absolutely love her for it.
She judges everyone. If you exist in her line of sight, chances are she’s going to look at you and think ‘I could probably do X better than you’ to herself. Especially when it comes to parenting.
And here’s the kicker- she’s wrong. She’s so wrong about that. Without a doubt, she wins the ‘worst of the mansion’s parental figures’ trophy by a landslide. She did terribly by Webby.
She kept her in the manor, alone, and trained her to defend herself from much too early an age. She told her not to bother Scrooge, the only other person in their home, which means that the only person Webby every really had was her.
I mean this woman was ready to straight up kick her ass on the roof of the manor for saying ‘hey maybe traumatizing Huey and Dewey isn’t the best form of training’
This woman, on multiple occasions, looked Webby right in the eyes and lied to her without even thinking- twice! And that’s after knowing that Webby hates being lied to!
She’s had quite her fair share of fuckups when it comes to parenting, and yet she still freely judges Scrooge, Donald, and Della whenever they try to parent.
She’s one of the biggest hypocrites in the show.
And the thing is, it makes sense.
All of her actions so much sense, even the judgement.
She’s a thoroughly traumatized secret agent who’s probably never opened up about herself to anyone (well, maybe Scrooge, but that’s another post for another day), found a child kept in one of their secret bases, and made the impossible choice to abandon her mission (her entire life) to go into hiding and keep the child safe.
She used to be a secret agent, so of course her modus operandi is to lie. Of course she keeps her cards close to her chest (even when nobody else is playing), of course she waits to reveal anything until she’s deemed it absolutely necessary to do so.
She essentially kidnapped Webby, the top-secret project of an evil organization. Of course she never let her leave the mansion (or at least, go anywhere besides the mansion and the Money Bin, because she’s been there before), she had every reason to believe that their agents may one day show up to find and take her away.
Of course she trained Webby relentlessly, of course she reacted so harshly to the idea of not training the boys in the same way. In order to survive, she was treated as a soldier instead of a person, after all. So in order for them to survive, she’s got to treat them like soldiers too.
Of course she judges everyone around her and refuses to admit when she’s wrong, she’s been through hellish experience after hellish experience, took over as director for SHUSH after the previous director was kidnapped by FOWL. She’s learned to hide her weaknesses, bury them so deep that even she wouldn’t be able to find them if she tried. She’s had to lead others, monitor agents, make absolutely sure that no information leaked which meant running the tightest shop possible. After doing that for so long, seeing others not do that is grating (what do you mean, other people got to be safe? What do you mean, nobody else has dealt with the things she has? What do you mean, she doesn’t have to treat everything like a secret war is brewing just under the surface? Preposterous).
She’s been through more than anyone else will ever know, more than she’ll ever say, and she refuses to admit that it’s caused her harm. She refuses to believe that what happened to her may have been wrong. That it shouldn’t have happened at all (It ended up giving her Webby. How could anything that gave her Webby be wrong?)
She’s a bitch and an asshole and a jerk and a hypocrite and a badass super spy and a housekeeper and a grandmother and anything she needs to be to survive and is maybe just starting to allow herself to live.
But there is one thing she most certainly is not:
A secretary
mentor figures
Thinking, again, about Mr. Benedict. About how he reads differently from so many mentor figures in so many books directed at young people. It’s a well established role, a well established trope, of course, but it’s rare I read a story where I thoroughly enjoy the character the way I do him.
Excuse my whimsy, but it’s a funny little thing, to read a children’s story once you’ve grown. To have fallen in love with the characters woven through the pages gripped in your grubby childhood hands, and then to fall in love in an entirely different way as they remain, stagnant in their growth, and you just get older and older. The tale stays the same and your perspective shifts.
Stories often go like this. A child, with nothing to lose and everything to gain, gets brought into a life different from their own and falls in love with it. A mentor- usually older, usually grey, wise and experienced and knower of secrets and holder of quests- offers them an adventure and they accept it, heedless of the danger.
Crooked perspectives, crooked lines in the sand. Reading these stories again as you grow, you cannot help but think about the burdens these sorts of characters place on such young narrow shoulders. The unfairness of it all. The idle cruelty under the laurels. Books can call it love all they want, but to send a child to the front lines even once is enough to make me question.
(You have to be fair about it, mostly. You have to acknowledge when children's books are meant for children, that if the characters are never allowed to step up to the plate then the story would never have happened. Plot needs conflict, breeds the necessity of child soldiers, and allows young readers to see themselves as heroes in their own stories, too. It's easy to forget, and important to remember.)
I don’t know. Thinking about Mr. Benedict, this wise old man, who was ridiculed and determined and young, too, once. Thinking about Mr. Benedict, looking at these children collected at his door and knowing exactly how it feels to be that kind of particular lonely, the sort of lonely that comes with being young and knowing you should have someone, but don’t. The kind of lonely that comes from being different.
In the books, Mr. Benedict lays the dangers out one by one by one. He says, clearly, exactly what he knows and how. Answers details and explains logic. He asks the children to complete a dangerous quest, of course, but he does not lead them into it blind.
He doesn’t expect them to do it alone, either. Every step of the way, there are grown-ups watching over the Mysterious Benedict Society as best they can. The kids aren’t sent to be spies, they’re sent to go to school. Stay safe. Collect information. There are two priorities there and it’s easy to guess which is the one Mr. Benedict prioritises.
Priorities: the minute the danger becomes prominent, Milligan is sent to retrieve the children. Their lives are not forfeit. They are prioritised over even the world's twisted end. This is a series in part about mysteries and puzzles and adventure, but it’s in part about this, too. About finding the people who love you. It’s about sorting out your own self and the way you fit into a family both.
It goes like this: Mr. Benedict asks the children, once, as a last resort, to go on a carefully observed quest, and then he never asks anything more of them except to learn, grow, listen, and be as safe as possible while doing so. Any adventure hereafter is because the kids embarked on it on their own, going specifically against their guardians' wishes to do so (that particular kind of loneliness, after all, is a hard habit to break).
I don’t know. I don’t have too much to say here. Something about kindness I suppose. Something about characters made to fit in roles designed to be a loving mentor actually getting to be so. It's a clever bit of writing, to make someone read the way Mr. Benedict does in this series, to have both the children in the spotlight even as they are surrounded by people who love them and care enough to try and give them ways out.
(Thinking, again, about the third book. The children finally start asking for help and reaching for it, and when the grown ups rise up to answer the call, it feels earned.)
RAIN WORLD HUNTER SPOILERS
i am in tears right now. i was playing hunter in rain world just so i could get some of the exclusive unlocks but along the way i found a slugpup and i had to take it with me. their name is lavender and we did so many adventures together. we reactivated moon, swam through submerged superstructure to get her the cloak, made the perilous journey back, and then went through shaded, industrial, and chimney to get up to the wall. five pebbles didnt seem to care about a little sluppy chillin in his puppet chamber, but thanked me for helping moon and gave me some extra cycles. i was hoping i could make it to the slugtree to put lavender in a safe place but hunter cant access outer expanse :( so then i went back down the wall, across sky islands into pipeyard, down into the filtration system and then the depths, to then discover that guardians dont like slugpups ;-; i tried using some cheats to get past them but it kinda broke my game and even if i ended up in the void sea lavender wouldnt come with me :(((
so now i have one cycle left, in a horrific place (filtration), and i have a child. i cant just leave them here. im trying to maybe leave them at a scavenger merchant but i keep dying and aaaaaaaaaaaaughhhh
also when i was in pipeyard, i learned the hard way that it has the highest slugpup spawn chance, and had to go through the excitement of finding a new child to then have them die horrifically right in front of you twice! lavender made it out okay though, but even if i only had those two new pups for a few minutes, i still got attached to them and i wish i still had them :( though with all the times i enter combat, maybe its better i can have both my hands free to defend us.
i wasnt even planning on any of this. i was just gonna get to shoreline, get the leviathan unlock, and then delete the save and play some other campaign but after i found lavender i just had to keep going
i just hope lavender can life a happy life when i die the next cycle...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Little Fic Series Idea, Part 1
Sorry if its a little long for you
Platonic Young Child Male Tamer x Female Symbareangoramon
Where the female Symbareangoramon becomes the child’s new babysitter and later mother.
Idea: The kid spends a lot of time with digimon, which she finds both sweet, but worrying. Their parents are never there to take them back, or to watch over them to make sure they are safe. Of course the kid is clearly taken care of, but just not played or interacted with by their parents if she watches them through the windows, the parents are just so busy it seems. Plus, if she sees them, something feels off about them(the parents), but she can’t put her figure on it.  And one day, after seeing a babysitter run off, with no parents checking in after, she decides to take the child into her possession/custody where the child is strangely more happy with.
GN!Child x F!SymbareAngoramon - Part 1
💙: I left the child's gender gender neutral, but if you want them to be a boy or girl, let me know in part 2. I enjoyed writing this! Thank you.
Tumblr media
In a quaint suburban neighborhood, a peculiar friendship blossomed between a child and a SymbareAngoramon. The child possessed a heart full of innocence and curiosity. Their days were spent exploring the wonders of the Digital and real world alongside their faithful companion, SymbareAngoramon.
However, this wasn't always the case before. As behind the closed doors of their home, a disconcerting reality unfolded. The child's parents, though physically present, were emotionally distant, consumed by their busy lives and careers. Their interactions with their only child were limited, leaving the poor child craving the warmth of parental love and attention.
Through her observant eyes, SymbareAngoramon noticed the neglect that tugged at the child's heartstrings. The child's parents rarely interacted with them.
SymbareAngoramon watched as other babysitters came and went, leaving the child despondent each time. One night, after witnessing yet another babysitter hastily leave without a backward glance, SymbareAngoramon's kind heart couldn't bear to see the child's longing for affection go unanswered any longer.
With a quiet determination, SymbareAngoramon decided to take matters into her own hands. She gently approached the child's window balcony, her mellow disposition cloaked in an aura of tranquility. With a subtle touch of her hand against the opened window, SymbareAngoramon stepped inside, finding the child playing alone in their room, their eyes brimming with unshed tears.
Sensing the child's need for companionship and love, SymbareAngoramon approached them, offering a comforting presence. In that moment, an unspoken bond formed between them, a connection that transcended the boundaries of species. SymbareAngoramon became the child's steadfast protector, their guardian of serenity.
Under SymbareAngoramon's watchful eye, the child's laughter returned, and their days were filled with joy and wonder for the first time. The gentle Digimon showered the child with unconditional love, providing the care and attention they had craved for so long. As the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, the child flourished under SymbareAngoramon's nurturing guidance. The once-sad child now beamed with happiness, their eyes sparkling with newfound confidence.
With SymbareAngoramon by their side, the child embarked on countless adventures, both in the Digital World and the real one. SymbareAngoramon's wisdom and calm demeanor became a source of inspiration for the child, shaping them into a compassionate and empathetic young soul. Together, they faced challenges, learned valuable life lessons, and embraced the boundless beauty of friendship.
While the outside world remained oblivious to the profound transformation within the child, SymbareAngoramon's quiet wisdom and unwavering love had healed a wounded heart. In the embrace of their gentle guardian, the child found the love and acceptance they had always longed for.
The new life of the child and SymbareAngoramon became a testament to the extraordinary power of love, friendship, and the unbreakable bond that could form between the most unlikely of companions. In the heart of their shared adventures, they discovered the true meaning of family — a love that transcended species and surpassed the boundaries of the ordinary, reminding the world that sometimes, the most extraordinary families are the ones chosen by the heart.
I recall you mentioning a Time God AU involving Silver before that you've been working on? If it's not gonna be trouble, could I ask to learn more about it? 👉👈
Sure thing! ^-^
So, the ideas I have right now aren't a hundred percent solid, so to say. But Silver is a Guardian of Time/some kind of godly-ish spirit or being, who is tasked with protecting the Time Stones. This is the Silver from '06, who got erased from time when Sonic and Elise blew out Solaris' flame: whatever deities are out there in the world of Sonic took pity on him and allowed him a new life as a protector of the time stream. This does mean that he's very far removed from actual living people and kind of has a very big important duty he must do (protect the time stream from shenanigans and protect the Time Stones), but Silver is naturally curious and thus seeks out society all the same. He meets with Espio when Espio is mere seconds away from dying through getting ran over by a car, and he uses his godly powers to intervene and allow Espio to safely get away. However, somehow the Time Stones scatter (I don't have an idea yet why, though. I do really need something, but I just don't know why they would disappear, and considering the whole plot hinges on this it's a bit of an issue😅), which means Silver needs to go look for them with Espio's help. Once Espio has accepted that the time guardian is real and not just a hallucination from the what-was-meant-to-be last moments of his life, he takes Silver with him to the Agency, and from there onwards I'm not sure yet what they can do other than search for the time stones together. And of course fall in love, hehe.
Also you can have the draft of the whole first chapter, since that is basically finished :> I hope you like it! ^-^
~~~~
Espio woke up without knowing his life was meant to end that day.
That was something most people did not know when waking up, he would have reasoned when looking back ages later, but that morning he got out of bed like he always did and went through the motions as usual. “What do we have for upcoming jobs?” he inquired at the kitchen table like every other day as well, and the shrug from Vector was nothing out of the ordinary either.
“One case of a missing person, but that seems more like a runaway little child than anything else. And some sleuthing for a transport company in the harbour, to see if another is reliable. That’s it.”
“Better than usual,” the chameleon smiled, helping Charmy fill up a bowl of cereal while the little bee was chanting something along the lines of marshmallows. “How will we divide the tasks?”
“I’ll take Charmy to find that kid, they’ll hit it off immediately. Harbour for you, then?”
“That works for me,” the chameleon agreed, and breakfast had gone by just the same as it usually did. With no odd feelings or worries at all Espio left the Agency, something akin to a little smile on his face as he briskly stepped his way over to the dock at the ocean. The spring weather warmed the world around him, they finally appeared to have some decent jobs, Eggman was behaving – for however long that would last – and the world was filled with happy chatter and cheerfulness; what did he have to fear?
To such calm future prospectives his thoughts drifted as he investigated the company at the harbour, meeting with their client and helping make sense of legal documents and past descriptions of others who had worked with the same people. “A good day,” he spoke out loud at the end of it, permitting himself a few moments to bask in the light of the setting sun and nodding contently at the orange glow shimmering on the waves of the ocean. With an envelope of money in his possession and a grateful client assuring him they were more than willing to ask the Chaotix for their services again, he could only be happy.
Except something nagging sparked up in his chest, something that made him blink amidst the idyllic scenery.
And as soon as it had appeared, it was gone again.
Strange, Espio noted to himself, scrutinising the whole harbour for any danger and finding none. His ninja senses were honed sharply and his intuition had never failed him before… but there truly did not seem to be something here to cause him trouble. “An omen of things to come?” the chameleon mumbled under his breath, turning around briskly and stepping home even more quickly than he had been on his way this morning. If something were to occur, he wanted to be with his colleagues for it.
The worries the odd nagging had elicited refused to leave his mind, Espio flicking his tail as he mingled inbetween the people making their way home after a long day of work. Curling his lip the chameleon sidestepped around them all, ignoring the busyness as best he could; having so many people around was far too stifling, his eyes flickering around to find a way that did not trap him right into a short burst of rush traffic. Across the street stood a bench, that part of the roads much less crowded…
Nimbly flicking his way around some of the people taking up too much of his personal space Espio came to a halt at the traffic light, ramming his pinkie into the button. Almost immediately his light became green; a perk of being a pedestrian, he smiled to himself as he stepped onto the road while first looking left before his gaze drifted right… and he could not even react to the car that was rushing at him at a speed that would make Sonic jealous.
And then, time froze around him.
Espio stared, yet nothing moved. He blinked, yet the way a frightened man reached out to him on the sidewalk was just as motionless as the scream on another person’s lips.
And someone was behind him on the road, someone who floated above it in a silver-hued light with seven glowing rocks circling its body while looking surprisingly calm compared to the horror of the people on the streets.
“You have to move,” the creature spoke. “The Time Stones can only do so much- it won’t be like this for much longer, and you’ll get hurt. Move.”
“…Oh! Apologies.” And with that Espio finally managed to kick his legs into movement and scamper over onto the sidewalk, and with a blink of an eye his surroundings came alive once more, the chameleon grunting at the gust of wind tugging at his body from the car racing past without stopping or the cries of fright around him.
“Hey- you! Boy! Are you okay?!” The man who had reached out to him raced over, Espio flinching as he was snapped out of his stupor. “That… that driver nearly hit you!”
“…Yes,” the chameleon retorted. “Yes, they… they did.”
Only able to stare bleakly at the road he merely hummed at the man’s fussing, other people beginning to mingle in as well- but he could only stare at where his life surely had almost come to an end.
He could have sworn something shimmering and glowing hovering over it.
“Are you sure you should not go to the hospital-“
 “I am fine,” Espio spoke up unexpectedly calmly, turning around and nodding his head at the man. “Truly. Thank you for your concern, and my apologies for worrying you.”
“Yes, but you-“
“Merely had to take some moments to stop reeling.” Nodding at everyone crowding around him the chameleon took a quick step back, scales prickling at their fussing. “Which I have now, so I must continue on my way. Be careful out there.”
Keeping his movements calm and deliberate Espio kept his face as neutral as possible, the people around him trading nervous glances still- but inwardly he kept his fingers crossed the calm of his words would convince them, and his shoulders sagged just barely as the group eventually let up. “You should be happy with such quick reflexes, they really saved your life. It was as if you’re teleported, you came to the sidewalk so quickly,” the man eventually spoke. “Well, take care out there yourself. I am glad you’re okay.”
“Yes… I am grateful, too. I will.” Though, the question kept burning on his mind… “Pardon, but did you… see someone behind me, when the car nearly struck?” he asked the man more quietly.
“Someone- no, it was just you, luckily.”
“Odd. I could have sworn- well, nevermind. Surely that was simply the stress.” Nodding politely at the confusedly-frowning man Espio quickly turned around in full to make his escape- that had been much, much too close, and that one second of frozen time and odd people telling him odd things had just been an imagination of his mind while he’d long made it to the sidewalk already and was simply reeling from the stress, nothing more.
It couldn’t be anything more.
Right?
A sudden wave of anxiety barrelling into him Espio tensed, gaze drifting over to that one spot where his life nearly ended before he could help it. The road looked just like it usually did on any other spot in the city, grey with white paint drawn over it and the occasional car or cyclist coming past; absolutely nothing that pointed towards the accident that had nearly occurred.
And yet, and yet…
Espio could have sworn something in that particular spot was glimmering still. Not the same glow of silver as the odd person had had around them, but…
Peeking around to see if anyone who had concerned themselves with him was around still Espio set a few more paces until the coast was clear, the streets having gone quiet anew after the small rush of people. The button for the pedestrian’s crossing was pressed quickly enough, its ticking noise changing to indicate he had green light, and a tentative pace onto the grey road followed suit…
And Espio’s eyes widened at the glowing object that laid on the pavement, a rock that had the exact same shape as those that had floated around the creature.
And he was still standing right on the streets.
Reaching down and grasping the rock from the asphalt Espio darted over to the side he came from again, the ticking noise of the traffic light slowing down anew as he leaned as closely against the buildings as he dared. Almost bashfully he studied the rock; it was shaped along the lines of a hexagon with two parallel lines elongated, with a front and six sides moving down. Not a Chaos Emerald, the chameleon decreed immediately, but there still was some sort of power running through it, that his well-trained senses did not miss…
And he had seen them around the creature, he was sure of that.
“Nonsense,” Espio spoke out loud, ignoring the odd looks from some people making their way through the city across the road as he turned on his heels and briskly stepped back towards where the Chaotix’ Agency was. Surely that stone had always been there on the road and he merely had not seen it, or someone had dropped it in the few minutes of his distraction or it had fallen from a car- he had hallucinated the creature and it had been his quick reflexes that had led to a good ending, after all, so there was no way the rock in his hands meant anything.
But as he walked over the pavement and flinched at every single noise of a car driving past the chameleon could not help himself and sent a single glance over his shoulder, where the cyan glow was no more, and he could not help shake the feeling it hadn’t been his reflexes that saved him after all.

Hey! I'm not certain how into poetry you are, but there's this poem called Being Boring by Wendy Cope I really want to recommend because it's just got such satisfied domestic Lilia vibes of being so proud of having a quiet little life that I thought you would appreciate
"Someone to stay home with was all my desire And, now that I've found a safe mooring, I've just one ambition in life: I aspire To go on and on being boring."
oh.
i think you summed up perfectly why i find myself getting so emotional over the contrast of lilia's war-torn and grief-stricken past to his relatively peaceful and gentle present— with the context we've been given of how much he's suffered and struggled, it's that much more of a poignant ache to realize how fiercely proud he is of this precious little life he's carved out with malleus and silver.
to go from being a general in the heights of a vicious war, losing your closest loved ones as casualties far before their time, nearly losing their son, his last connection to them, and then being so cruelly slandered after saving malleus...how much like a dream it must feel to wake up every day and know that the world is a relatively peaceful place. humans and fae live in relative harmony, the son of his dearest friends is alive and well and thriving among all manners of people who broaden his horizons daily, and one of, if not the closest person to his heart, is the son of his greatest enemy who he loves as his own blood. how much like a dream to wake up every day and have the greatest choice be what video game to play late into the night with a new friend, to watch the newest generation laugh and coexist with each other in friendly rivalry. what a reward, for a life long-lived in the shadows of agony.
coming back to that poem, i was bowled over by that last stanza— it isn't a surprise that i made the connection immediately to silver being his mooring, his anchor to peace. learning how to love the child of his enemy, receiving the unconditional love of this child in return... he's been reborn, shedding the identities of general vanrouge, the prince's guardian, lilia the unwanted and lowly bat fae... he's toto, silver's beloved papa, this child's true love. and how funny to think, at the end of his long and storied life, he couldn't imagine wanting to aspire to be anything more but this— he can't imagine what could bring higher ambition than seeing the light sparkle in silver's shining eyes when lilia freely spends his dwindling magic on bringing the stars to dance upon the ceiling of their humble home.
(as an added bonus, i was listening to this song while answering and it got me straight in my emotions along with that poem, thinking especially about the new year being lilia's birthday aaaaa)
