The David - Now To You (1968)

This short lived L.A. pop group is often described as a more rocking Left Banke, mostly because of their ornate string arrangements (by Gene Page). I don't really hear the comparisons, as the Left Banke are much more baroque, but I do like this song.

Plot twist I'm in school/abroad in europe studying art!! and I have the oppurtunity to just like. go see the david???? apparently??? In the accedemia?? I like to go in there and just explore :) in general the accedemia is sick as fuckk. I would highly recommend 10 controposto poses out of 10

I genuinely don't know where my art is going sometimes, and like. being on this site is awesome, but sometimes I feel sad that I don't upload my drawings as often on here anymore. regardless if that changes to the ppl who do support me on here as well as mutuals who I DO know irl (you know who you are) thanks for stickin around. I want to feel more confident with my work so I'm gonna try and find the best way to gain that confidence whether it's sharing my drawings or not. idk we'll see ! also, you know. on this site there are so many good memes. if anything you know I'm staying for those bad boys >:D hope u enjoy these david studies (also the other one I labelled it- it's table of the cupids but I forget who it's by) and let's go gamers

I just got a figurine of Michelangelo's The David from a thrift store a friend owns!!! He fits in perfectly with my Venus statue

(fun story: my friend who runs the store asked me, "are you old enough to buy this?" as if I'm getting him because his wee-wee's out and not because I'm an art history buff)

((she has also very delicately placed the price tag over his bits like a fig leaf: "it's a family store"))

today in sculptures? plastic disciplines???? we continued copying the eyes of the David from different angles and so I decided to do that thing, but digitally :D
