Au where Dipper is deadass blind (working at the library) and cannot see the tall lanky monster thingy in front of him and just kinda assumes it's a human - he knows somethings a bit off about the guy, but he stops his assumptions there bc it's rude and he got over his paranormal phase years ago. (He didn't)

I was thinking of an au where the gravity falls cast takes the place of the characters in warrior cats. I have been listening to a song that reminded me of the confrontation between fireheart/star and bluestar in a "dangerous path." In this au, I was thinking that Ford is Bluestar and Mabel is Fireheart. It could also work the other way around with stan as Bluestar and dipper as Fireheart. I wanted to have the opposites be with the stan twins in this au because I think it would fit better. In this au mabels warrior name is Maplesong and Fords name is Owlsight/star. I didn't decide the roles of the other cast yet, but I will eventually. Maybe also, in this au bill takes the place of tigerclaw. Bills name is this au is Dreamflame.
Pines family warriors' names (so far):
Stanford-Owlsight/star.
Mabel-Maplesong.
Stanley-Vulturesight. (Deceased)
Dippers- Pineheart.
Other characters:
Bill-Dreamflame.

Realized I never posted this on here, it’s years old by now but if anyone is interested here’s one of my old Gravity Falls BillDip fic
Summery:
To save his friends and family, Dipper made a deal with Bill Cipher. He could have him if he left his friends, family, and the rest of his dimension alone. Bill agrees, but not for the reason you might think. Bill's noticed something amiss with the teen, and takes a gamble to find out what it is, and he ends up getting lucky.
Dipper holds something dear to the Cipher and he wants it, but during the process of trying to receive it he begins to feel something that he hadn't felt in centuries. Guilt? Regret? Second thoughts? Or maybe love?
Trigger Warning!
Also I do not condone of any actions in my story, this is all but a dark and kinda messed up story, so do not think that any negative actions in this are okay.

Things about Wirt & Greg in Gravity Falls that my mind just won't let go. Set in my Never Two Without Four AU, after the brother's adventure in the Unknown but during the twin's first summer in GF.
Wirt, in the beginning, tries dealing with the twins the same way he deals with Greg and gets told off for his "doting" by Dipper
Mabel makes Wirt give her piggyback rides
If Wirt was ever possessed by Bill his ghost would be dripping wet bc he's traumatized and also bc Bill just wants to freak him out more
Greg brings back every strange creature he can find to the Shack and tries to hide them away (Wirt won't let him keep them)
Wirt is totally scared of Wendy
Greg would spend a LOT of time hanging out with Soos. They'd be best buddies
Wirt's first instinct when facing a monster is to grab the kids and run. Dipper complains about this regularly
Wirt is the only one who's seen the Hide-behind, on account of not being noticed. He slips into the background so easily not even the forest's local horror can notice him (it's not on purpose)
Greg, although unrelated by blood, fits so well into the Pines family people wonder whether Wirt is the real cousin
Wirt wants to burn the journal(s)
Greg casually mentions stealing a horse and Stan spends weeks trying to get the story out of the boys. Greg's story is unrealistic and unhelpful and Wirt is just uncooperative
When frustrated Wirt says some choice words that Dipper may or may not recite to Pacifica's face later
When the undead rise Wirt just sets out to start digging graves with quiet resignation but no fear whatsoever. Greg, very helpfully, sings him songs about Enoch during the meantime

HI i would like to ask about yuor silly blorbos yes :3 how do they end up meeting ?? And like whats going on with the rest of the pines in this au ?? I am Intrigued by this au
(Do you have any questions or wnything about rm au in return btw im going to be in the car for like two more hours im losing my mind i need blorbo fuel man)
HI EMBER THANK YOU EMBER WTEIODSURYTREHDFGHT
okay i'm first going to introduce them because... i have talked abt them in the church but not here as yet.
first of all. mabel h-10!!!
Tumblr media
rick had to remove her braces since she got a tooth knocked out lol. she is pretty much exactly like canon mabel except slightly more rough around the edges + has more of an interest in BUGS. i don't know where this came from bc i don't even have an interest in bugs i just thought it'd be silly
anddd rick s-742!!
Tumblr media
he's a lot like canon except a. fairly overprotective of mabel and b. is slightly less nsfw because [insert meta joke about how mabel is from a kid's show]. like i said in the alt text. mabel made that sweater for him :) mabel is also the reason he's wearing hair pins. she's SILLYFYING him... bit by bit...
so. as for how they met. it's not set in stone yet... i am still considering possibilities... But i am considering something like don't dimension it from lost legends going on. mabel h-10 gets lost in the multiverse and ends up in dimension mab-3l, but instead of getting snagged by the anti-mabel, ford jumps in after her and helps bail her out somehow... but SOMETHING FUCKED UP HAPPENS. something i'm not sure of yet. will figure it out as we go along,,, will likely involve ford getting caught and detained by intergalactic police. we'll see abt the specifics. but either way, it gets bad enough that ford sends out a distress signal as a last resort; he knows he's probably fucked but he doesn't want any harm to come to mabel at least.
he knows One Specific Person will receive that signal. rick owes him a favor after all
anyways yeah rick swoops in and grabs mabel at the last second and from then on he takes care of her. probably not indefinitely but for a decent amount of time, until they manage to get her back to ford. both of them Promptly grow attached to each other also yes this happens before rick returns to his family after years of being absent (rnm aired for the first time in 2013 so i'm taking that as the year he returned to them, meanwhile gf takes place in the summer of 2012. so like RIGHT before that), so mabel is all he has and vice versa. and boy does she remind him of so many people he's ever cared about. And Vice Versa because mabel sees a lot of her grunkles in him :3
also you may now be thinking "Ferret you havent mentioned stan or dipper at all. what's up with them." AND UH. THE SITUATION IS NOT GOOD BACK IN DIMENSION H-10. ford and mabel are missing and neither of them know what the fuck to do, DIPPER HAS TO GO BACK HOME WITHOUT HIS FUCKING SISTER. and stan has to deal with losing his tiny naive 13-yr-old niece AND losing his brother who he JUST GOT BACK. AWESOME. JUST FANTASTIC
(things will get resolved eventually but boy do things get worse for them before they get better!!!!!!!!!!!)

(SCRAPPED) Fragmented AU -- Background Info (Tragedy in the Pines Family)
So, as mentioned in a previous post, the Fragmented AU has Dipper and Mabel's parents die in a fire when they were 10 (almost 11). The cause of said fire was a bit of a mystery, but Dipper believed it was someone called Bill. No one believed him, as there were no signs of someone breaking in, and many assumed that he started the fire accidentally. He was then sent to a children's psychiatric ward to help him cope with his trauma.
Two years have passed and Dipper is finally let out to live with the Stans, along with Mabel, who was staying with their grandparents.
Because of what happened, Dipper and Mabel are no doubt scarred by it in different ways: Dipper's a bit more harsh, anxious, and a bit emotionally unstable while Mabel does everything in her power to hide away her negative emotions and avoid talking about it. She's also scared of leaving Dipper behind or being left behind herself.
Speaking of the Stans, Stan was able to get Ford back into their dimension three years early thanks to a certain redhead finding the 3rd Journal and with the help of it, was able to track down the 2nd Journal.
As for Ford, he too has confronted Bill with his quantum destabilizer in the Nightmare Realm earlier than canon. However, just like in canon (well Journal 3 canon), Stan prevents Ford from dealing with the killing blow. So, yeah, there's still tension between the brothers. It surprisingly waned over the next three years, but there had been considerable bumps.
The loss of the Mystery Twins' parents did hit the Stans hard. Stan had grown a sweet bond with Caroline, his niece-in-law, finding her carefree and strong attitude endearing. His nephew, Morgan, somewhat reminded Stan of his brother, a nerd, but loved him all the same.
Ford only got to know the couple for a short while (other than when Morgan was a child), meeting the family during the holidays for hanukkah and christmas. Despite only being there for a month, Ford was quick to form memorable bonds with them, though he lamented that he missed Morgan growing up and marrying, as well as missing the birth of the younger twins.
Upon hearing of Morgan and Caroline's deaths, Ford was absolutely devastated. He had just connected with them, mere months earlier, and he had just lost them. It very much broke him. Not to mention that the possibility that Bill may have something to do with it sent him into a faint-inducing panic attack.
Surprisingly though, the loss brought the brothers closer together after a series of panic episodes and some angered words. Stan would then later make the decision for them to adopt the twins because a) their older brother Shermie already has his hands full with their ailing mother by himself, b) Ford had expressed his (and Stan's) deep seated fear of losing them too and c) Stan knew of the possibility of foster care separating the kids.
Was Stan the best choice to raise the orphaned children? No, not really. Man's a mess with his own set of issues. But, he's devoted. What about Ford? Well, the man has a tendency to forget to take care of himself so...plus, he has issues too, issues that the people of their dimension would not understand. Even so, when it comes to family, Ford would go above and beyond for them.

Sorry to post art for an AU I've never discussed on here before. Do you still think I'm hot
(Context below)
So this is for a goofy ass AU I've had in the works for a couple years and just have never talked about. It's called DeltaFalls, and it's exactly what is sounds like. A Deltarune and Gravity Falls crossover, where the Deltarune characters are put into a similar situation as the original show, with a big change: Dark Worlds have been incorporated. And maybe a hint of self-awareness. It is Deltarune, after all.
Characters shown (Top to bottom):
Kris Dreemurr-Holiday: A reclusive scientist who's researching the phenomenon known as "Dark Worlds". Accidentally contacted an all-knowing demon and now they're business partners. (Kris Dreemurr/Stanford Pines, specifically pre-multiverse)
Mars Jevill: A brilliant engineer and Kris' assistant. Got roped into Kris' shenanigans and ended up working with that all-knowing demon as well. (Jevil/Fiddleford McGucket, specifically pre-witnessing the multiverse)
Skylar Addison: A travelling "psychic" who also just so happens to actually be a psychic. Made a deal with the demon in order to steal the Holiday family's house and tour attraction, the Mystery Shack. (Blue Addison/Gideon Gleeful)
Goose Holiday: A curious and arrogant kid spending the summer with his great aunt. Started uncovering the town's secrets, and by extension, his own family's. Made a deal with the demon after finding an old computer in order to unlock it, but got juked big time. (Berdly/Dipper Pines)
Finally, front and center, Spamton C. Neo: A demon who takes "all-knowing" quite too literally. Made deals with all the folk listed above in order to manipulate them into helping his own goals. Despite that, he's incredibly honest- After all, Heaven is watching, and he can't fly without Their help. He's also completely self-aware, as in canon, and does nothing but fuck around with that knowledge. [Spamton/Billy C]
Yes, he does have a 2d geometric form like Bill. Yes, I did decide to twinkify him instead. For funsies

I saw your opinions regarding Morningmark and I wanna ask, how do you feel about his Ship War Au and Starco Citadel stuff?
Personally, I never cared for it because of how starco biased they bother were. But I did like the concept of a fankid multiverse.
No opinion. Not really invested in any fankids, they always felt like cheap attempts at shipping fodder for me. (And not even good shipping fodder. Just blatantly shoving your OC into things and pretending it makes the story any better? Where's the themes? The status-quo breakage? How does it affect the world?)
Honestly, basically the only fankids I like are the Pines triplets (children of Mabel and an OC) from Gravity Falls' Transcendence AU, because they fit with the story's themes of growing older, and how Dipper will never be able to do that again. They are characters in their own right, but more than that they are excuses to see how the main characters deal with parenting, and where their flaws and weaknesses translate to actual parenting issues that make sense for them. Their personalities are mirrors to which we can understand the main characters better, and their arcs follow the story's themes. (And I was introduced to them when I was young and wasn't immediately turned off by years' worth of fankids just being fun mix-and-match OCs with no connection to the thematic part of the stories they came from. I do admit bias.)
I suspect JessTheVampire's fankids are similar, but I have untreated attention deficit problems and no free time, so I've never actually read her story.
But I did read the Citadel comics; it was impossible not to be active in the svtfoe fandom and not read them, after all. And they... were more of the same. The Citadel itself was far too sci-fi and had no connection to the story of the actual show, the main, non-fankid characters of svtfoe were non-entities, and the story was basically an excuse to dick around with characters the creator was clearly enamored with but that I didn't care about.
And the Ship War comics... *shudders* They somehow outdid the show for stupid shipping nonsense. I don't know how that's possible, but they did it. But even worse, they mischaracterized just about everyone, especially my fave, Toffee. I've gone over this already. I've talked about this already. But it still stings. Man.
I know fankids don't have to be that deep and it's completely fine if people ignore my thoughts on what makes a good fankid and just do what they want. But it's also perfectly fine for me to bitch about it.
Anyway, yeah, don't like fankids. Sorry.
(Also from now on I'll be tagging it #morning mark salt because I suspect his fans are looking him up and then seeing my posts and getting mad at them.)

Oh wait, what am I doing! Empires s1 gravity falls au.
Gem and Fwhip as the pines twins, OBVIOUSLY. Gem is Dipper, journals and studying the oddities of the town. Fwhip is Mabel, instead of a crush of the week he has a victim of the week (these have resulted in explosions on multiple occasions).
Scott and Xornoth as Ford and Stan respectively. Exor as Bill. Xornoth went to help from Scott because he kept seeing Exor, but they argued and Scott was hit with the rune sword. Xornoth is trying to bring him back.
Pearl and Sausage as Wendy and Soos. Full WRA baybe!!! Sausage is strangely wise, always has good advise hidden under all his silly words, and Pearl comes from a family of kickass farmers. Gem definetly has a squish on her.
Joey is Gideon and wants a) Xornoth to marry him and b) the tale of the stags, the grimoire, and the book of prophesies (the journals). He has a deal with Exor so he can possess Xornoth. He HATES the twins for "getting in the way of him and Xornoth". Also cuz he finds out Gem has the grimoire much earlier than Gidion finds out Dipper has a journal, that too.
Lizzie is old man mcgucket, making a "deal with destiny" to help Scott in his studies in exchange for collecting cool stuff from their findings. But in a tragic lab accident, she loses her memories, of her friends and even her brother.
Speaking of brother, Jimmy is the most pathetic wet rag version of Pacifica you could come up with. His family outcasted Lizzie and claim to descend from the founders of the town. But Jimmy? He's uncool, clumsy, unathletic, only charismatic in a sort of pittying way, perfect victim for Fwhip's pranks. However, the twins don't REALIZE how powerful Jimmy's family is until after a prank gone too far.
Joel like, kinda plays the Robbie roll? He was dating Lizzie before the whole memory thing and he makes that Xornoth (impersonating Scott, who lost her memories)'s problem. But he doesn't really believe any of the supernatural crap, so he thinks Scott told Lizzie to break up with him and ghost him by pretending to not know who he is.
And the knomes? There's only one knome. The rest are wolves. The knome is Shrub and she's much nicer than the ones in the show. She helps the twins on most of their adventures, basically whenever they need a small army.
Katherine is the town newspaper, she's got all the gossip but she will never disclose from where (flowers talk to her, it's fine). She's always the first person Gem and Fwhip go to if they're investigating or need info. There's no real equivalent if her in the show, maybe Toby if you REALLY stretch.
And then Pix is Blendin. Once again, much nicer than in the show, he doesn't take the twins into a death game, but he's just as easily set off. He's on the run from the Vigil, like Time Baby, and while Katherine knows everything about the people of the town, Pix knows a about the monsters. Unlike Blendin though, he is from the past, an ancient civilization (don't ask how they figured out time travel).
Did I make this au specifically to have Bubbles as Waddles? Maybe. What's it to you?

I like the idea of sequal au thing where Bill has been trapped in a mortal body for his crimes and has to prove he's a good person to change back. Then he'd go to the Pines for help and they'd be extremely reluctant at first, but then Mabel sees him struggling and suffering and convinces the others to let him stay. Bill struggles to be a normal person let alone a good one, but the family warms his cold, dead heart or some shit like that. And he can connect with all of them. Mabel likes things weird, Dipper is a nerd, Stan likes deals and money, and Ford likes Bill.
Eventually, Bill would become part of the family and have no need for immortality or his powers. Also, maybe Ford and Bill get back together and it's adorable.

Week Four: Worth
Summary: When Dipper comes to his Grunkle Stan for advise of worth, Stan has the answer he's looking for.
A/N: Hey all this is the last entry for @stanuary and I hoped you guys enjoyed the short chapters! This one set in the Lost and Gained AU. Yes, Dipcifica is canon here. ^^ Can find the new entry here too: Worth
Worth. It sounded like a foreign concept to Stan Pines when applied to himself, but for others, he sees genuine worth in those he loves and cares for. On the other hand, he sees worth in everyone else who holds cash in their wallets to keep the Mystery Shack going for years to come. Worth in himself was harder to grasp in himself when his father and childhood bullies made him feel worthless, and it was allowed to fester in his mind. Hearing those who see real worth in him made it feel less painful.
“Grunkle Stan?” Dipper approached his great-uncle while he was lounging on his chair in the living room. Dipper had something to ask him, Stan could tell. “Do you ever feel sometimes the thing you want most to happen doesn’t seem worth it when it seems too hard?”
Stan quirked an eyebrow, “What do you mean, kid? Tell your old Grunkle Stan about it.” He patted on the dinosaur head stand and helped Dipper climb up it. Once Dipper gets settled, he shares what’s been eating at him.
“You see… I still don’t know how to talk to girls. There’s this one girl I like but…” Dipper blushed and lowered his hat. “I just don’t know how to get my feelings across. This isn’t like when I was crushing on Wendy. This feels…”
“Like the real deal?”
“Exactly!” Stan chuckled in response, he knew that feeling all too well; just like when he fell in love with his wife Andrea.
“Lucky for you, you came to the right Grunkle. Don’t tell your great-uncle Ford, but I know a thing or two when it comes to getting your feelings across,” Stan nudged his great-nephew, but he got serious when he started to share his wisdom with Dipper. “First thing to do is go to just tell her how you feel. You may or may not get rejected, but it ain’t the end of everything. It’ll all be worth it, I promise.”
“What if I –”
“Dipper, life’s too short to worry about what could go wrong,” Stan smiled at his great-nephew in confidence. “So, whose this girl you have your heart set on? Can I guess who?” Dipper scratched the back of his head, Stan getting a good idea who ever since he’d seen Dipper and Pacifica were being witty to each other. “The Northwest girl.”
“Yes,” Dipper began to ease. “She isn’t the bratty rich girl she came across as in the beginning. I should have figured that there was more to her than what she presented herself, but I had to defend Mabel from bullies like Pacifica was acting like. Pacifica is intelligent, she’s great at wordplay and video games, and… she’s wonderful. And… I don’t think I’m worthy.”
“Why not? Look at yourself. You’re adventurous, you’re a nerd, and you’re the bravest kid among many I got to know over the years. You have the qualities that make you more than worthy. Heck, you even saved her life a few times! If that ain’t worthy, then they’d be stupid to think otherwise. It was something Andy and the family have to remind me everyday and I couldn’t be more grateful. If there are people who can see something of worth in me, then I can, too.” Dipper reached to hug his great-uncle.
“Thanks, Grunkle Stan. I actually feel better now. I’ll go tell Pacifica how I feel.” Dipper got off the dinosaur skull and dashed off out the door and called back. “I’ll let you know how it goes!”
“You got this, Dipper!” Stan saw Dipper leave and closed the door, “You got this.”

Engulfed
I should’ve died that day. For what seemed like eternity, there was nothing in the world but pain.
My take on a Transcendence AU origin fic. Warning for angst and gore. Happy 23rd birthday to Dipper and Mabel Pines! I only know how to cause suffering.
(Read the most up-to-date version on AO3)
===
Bill Cipher’s scream tore through the air like a shockwave.
Mabel and Dipper watched the demon writhe before them, not daring to let the hope show on their battered and bruised faces. Around them stood the rest of the zodiac, the people that had gathered together to cast the spell that would finally end Weirdmageddon. Stan, Ford, Pacifica, McGucket, Robbie, Wendy, Gideon, and Soos. Their friends. Their family.
“Triangulum entangulum!” With every chant that went around the circle, the screams got worse. “Veneforis venetisarium!”
Dipper felt something twist in his chest. It was working, the spell was working! The very demon that had invaded his mind and manipulated his body was finally being defeated! And yet even in the wake of victory, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. That uncomfortable pressure in his chest only grew and grew, and he tried to steady himself with a deep breath. His grip on his sister’s hand tightened.
With one final screech, Bill plummeted to the ground like a stone. There was an ear-shattering boom on impact, and the earth rippled as if it was made out of gelatin. Bill’s cries were replaced by those of everyone else being torn apart and launched into the air. Dipper saw Mabel’s hand slip out of his and he cried out, “Mabel!”
She seemed to yell something back, but he couldn’t hear her. He hit the ground, hard, and his ears were filled with the furious beating of his own heart.
The circle was broken, but it appeared it was far too late to stop the spell. The giant rainbow X that hung in the sky like a wound seemed to draw closer, closer, close enough to swallow them all up. The very air seemed to shimmer with power, and all throughout this Bill was as still as a statue.
Distantly, Dipper watched Ford push himself to his feet. Watched him lend a hand to Stan, saw their lips mouth something like “are you okay sixer?” and “get off me you old coot”. He saw Pacifica hugging Soos, then trying to pretend she didn’t care. He saw Gideon start to head over to Mabel, just to get held back by Wendy.
He saw Bill wink.
Throat hoarse, Dipper tried to call out to the others. “G-g-guy-ys…” For some reason, he couldn’t move. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. The sky was still strobing through a maddening set of colors, threatening to tear reality itself apart, but Bill had stopped screaming long ago.
“We had a deal, Pine Tree,” whispered a voice in Dipper’s ear, and his eyes went wide.
Bill’s body twitched. An arm reached out -- straight out of the three dimensional form he’d made for himself. The stacks of gold bricks seemed to slough off him like a snake sheds its skin, revealing something twisted and two-dimensional beneath. There was another movement -- another appendage trembling, reaching forward, dragging itself through the mud, not grabbing at the earth but grabbing at Dipper, and he couldn’t move.
“You’re going to be my puppet after all, kid,” Bill said, and he sounded worse than usual, like he was coughing into Dipper’s skull. “I’m not the one who’s dying today!”
Mabel, having finally gotten herself to her feet with Robbie’s help, turned her head, and gasped.
“Dipper!” she shrieked, right as the demon plunged his hand into her brother’s chest.
---
There was a blinding flash of light, and then they were no longer in the Gravity Falls forest.
Dipper looked around. Everything seemed to be in glittering monochrome, the scenery wiggling like a painting on a hot plate. It was a familiar place -- his bedroom in the Mystery Shack -- but it was much larger than it should’ve been, with little windows poking into dreams and memories dotting the walls.
The Mindscape. Dipper had been there before, and he’d saved the day. But for some reason he doubted he was in Grunkle Stan’s mind this time.
“Over here, Pine Tree,” rang out that horrible, nasally voice.
Dipper’s head whipped around on his neck to spot Bill Cipher hovering over Mabel’s bed. He gasped for air -- forgetting momentarily where he was -- and clawed at his neck, trying to turn his body around to match his head.
The demon snickered at Dipper’s distress, then broke out into coughs. When Dipper righted himself, he noticed how awful Bill looked. His eye was red and blotchy, and little yellow bricks were peeling away from his body, with only a black void to replace them. His hat was deflating, drooping down one of his sloped triangular sides.
The spell had worked. Bill was dying. But Dipper couldn’t take comfort from this fact for long.
“You think this is the end?” Bill snarled, floating over to the boy. “You think you’ve won?”
Despite trembling hands, he snapped his fingers, and Dipper shot up into the air beside him.
“No one can defeat me,” he growled. “I’ve been alive longer than time itself. And I’ll still be there when all that’s left is entropy. I’ve planned this for too long to let something like a bunch of pitiful humans ruin my plans. I’m going to rule the universe.”
Bill drew his other arm back, and -- after a couple of attempts -- balled it into a fist. “And there’s nothing you can do to stop me.”
Dipper screamed as Bill threw the first punch, not into his chest or his head but his mind. Around him, the Mystery Shack began to wobble. A memory fell off the wall -- disintegrated as it touched the floor.
Bill smiled.
“You may have disrupted my plans, but I always have a backup.” He punched Dipper again, and some of the roof shattered, sending debris across the room. “You stupid humans can’t resist a good deal, can you?”
Another punch. And another. And another. More and more windows falling off the walls, more of his precious memories and belongings. Dipper cried out, struggling to do anything to fight back, but the demon was too strong. Blue fire was beginning to spread through the room as Bill pumped every last drop of his magic into Dipper’s mindscape, warping it beyond recognition.
“I’ll admit,” Bill said, after another cough, “that I’m not a fan of walking around looking like a tiny boy like you for the next thousand years. But it’ll have its uses. I can get payback on the pathetic humans who dared stand up to me.”
Dipper’s eyes widened, and then one of them popped out of his head with Bill’s next punch. “Wh- wh- wh- wh,” he tried to ask.
“That’s right, Pine Tree,” Bill said, attempting to smile, though at this point his body was falling apart enough that Dipper could hardly tell. “I’ll kill Ice Bag. And Question Mark. And Sixer. And Shriner.”
Bill snapped his fingers again, and a shimmering picture of Mabel appeared -- the only constant left in the wreckage of the Mystery Shack.
“And when I get Shooting Star, I’ll make sure it hurts.”
Something snapped inside of Dipper. He saw Mabel, he saw her twisting and screaming and writhing in agony, and he felt the bile rise higher and higher in his throat. Bill smiled again at the boy’s distress, and prepared another punch, this one likely the last before Dipper’s soul was destroyed forever.
Dipper caught the demon’s hand in his own.
Bill’s body flickered. “Wha-?” he tried to get out, before dissolving into coughs again. “St- stop it! You lost!”
A fiery rage, the like of which Dipper had never felt before, lit inside of him. He pulled Bill’s fist, and the demon’s arm came right off, prompting Bill to screech in agony just like Dipper had moments before.
“You. Will never hurt Mabel!” Dipper roared, and now he began to punch Bill back. “I won’t let you! I’ll protect her if it’s the last thing I do!”
“You can’t!” Bill yelled, before Dipper punched him again. “I won! I always win. You’re nothing!”
“I don’t care!” Dipper shot back. “I don’t care if I die, as long as the world is safe from the likes of you!”
“No!” Bill shrieked, as one last punch came ripping toward him. “¡uɹnʇǝɹ ʎɐɯ I ʇɐɥʇ os ɹǝʍod ʇuǝᴉɔuɐ ǝɥʇ ǝʞoʌuᴉ I ¡uɹnq oʇ ǝɯoɔ sɐɥ ǝɯᴉʇ ʎW ¡˥-┴-O-˥-O-X-∀”
The boy’s fist collided with his eye, and the demon exploded into a million pieces, which flew like confetti across the room. There was a clamouring din as his considerable energy dissipated. Then, quiet.
Dipper fell to the floor with a thud. He lay there panting for a few minutes, watching as all of his memories came back, spinning around him like a twister. He tried to smile. He’d done it, for real this time. He’d beaten Bill. Mabel was safe. He didn’t care what happened to himself anymore.
He rolled over and vomited his guts out, but instead of food, what came out was sticky and black like tar.
Around him, the blue fire was building up. The Mystery Shack was reshaping itself, building up its walls higher and higher just to be bathed in the demon’s magic. Repairing, burning, changing. Bill might’ve been gone but he’d pumped Dipper’s mindscape full of otherworldly energy before he died. And that energy was very much alive, growing brighter and brighter as it found its new master.
Dipper’s hand trembled, and a little flame appeared above his palm. He blinked. Opened his mouth, to try to ask what was going on.
The flame engulfed his body and he screamed like he’d never screamed before.
---
DIPPER PINES: I should’ve died that day.
For what seemed like eternity, there was nothing in the world but pain.
Pain that shot through the boy’s skin, up and down, unraveling it sinew-by-sinew, stretching to the point of breaking. Pain that thudded in his head as his skull shattered and flew back together on loop. Pain as all the blood seeped out of his body and stained the void-white world a sickening red.
The boy didn’t know where he was -- couldn’t remember it at all anymore. There was no time for neurons to fire because they were snapping apart at the synapses, every neurotransmitter halted in its place. Smoke rose from the crater that was his head, his thoughts dissipating into the aether.
DIPPER PINES: Bill forced all of his magic into my mind. No human should be able to survive that.
He didn’t know who he was anymore. Maybe he wasn’t. Anyone. It was almost believable, except for that word “he” that kept appearing. He. He. He. That had to be someone.
He could see the boy’s body from all angles. His flesh was boiling now -- bubbles rising up and popping in a symphony of agony. His face was only barely recognizable, especially with one eye still missing. The screaming was interminable. He didn’t control it anymore. It was a force of nature, ceaseless and all-encompassing. It echoed like microphone feedback at a concert hall -- pierced what remained of his ears and doubled back into more pain.
DIPPER PINES: My soul should have shattered under the pressure. But that’s not what happened.
In the middle of the boy’s chest, there was a white orb.
With what little consciousness he had, he watched the orb shimmer. Unlike the rest of his body, it was static -- unmoving -- and it was pristine. He’d never seen anything like it before. It was beautiful, it was mystifying. It was real.
Somehow, he could feel that it was him.
The flame started small. It was blue, just like- just like his fire, but it was a different “him” and not the boy. He couldn’t remember anymore. But the fire was swallowing him up, now. It began as a tiny spark on the crest of the orb, and it spread. The flame raced over the perimeter of the orb, and strangely enough it didn’t hurt. It… tickled. It almost distracted him from the pain of his body shredding itself to pieces.
DIPPER PINES: What happened was far, far worse.
The flame hung there for a moment, and the boy watched it from inside and out. And then, it bit through the surface.
He screamed again, somehow louder than before. The flame punched a hole into the orb and filled the resulting tunnel. Distantly, the boy saw the tarry remains of his hand shudder, and then pull itself back into the shape of a hand. The flame bit into him again and the same thing happened to his other hand.
For a moment, it looked like his fingers were tipped with claws.
DIPPER PINES: I remember the day it happened. I remember it whenever I close my eyes. I remember it when I’m standing in a summoning circle, and when the bloodlust gets so strong that I can’t control myself. I remember what Bill did to me.
The demon’s magic tore into him and with every change the world became sharper and sharper. A bite, and his legs were back. A bite, and he had a torso again, complete with a heart beating louder and harder and faster. A bite, and the shards of his skull flew back into place, and he saw a flash of razor sharp teeth like some kind of horrible monster.
He was floating, now, and his blood was whipping around him like a tornado. As his body reformed, the edges began to twinkle with blocky, black artefacts, like a glitchy computer screen. Each one was a thought broadcast through his reconstituted mind, a thought running through his skin and scattering out every flame-scarred interstice of his being. The more his body changed, the stronger his consciousness got, until he could remember and scream louder because he knew what was happening to him now.
He was thought. He was the magic running through his veins. It didn’t hurt anymore, because there was nothing left to hurt.
An eyeball rolled slowly across the emptiness, making a light plopping sound as it did so. The boy watched it approach the creature taking shape in front of him. It climbed up the side of his face and sank back into its socket.
He took a moment to let it attach itself to the nerve again, and then he opened his eyes. Two black pits stared back at him.
DIPPER PINES: It was still my soul. But it was no longer a human’s soul.
The flame had almost entirely engulfed the orb, now. The white sheen had disappeared and now it was turning as dark as his new eyes. The boy tried to open his mouth, now that he had one again, tried to reach forth with new hands and flickering joints.
It reached the center and his heart stopped beating.

Chapter 76 - Restoring Clarity (Part 1)
Tumblr media
Update - October 15, 2022
Overall synopsis (for anyone who is newly interested):
A Gravity Falls AU idea where, in 1982, Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill’s dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill’s ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing them for their refusal to rebuild the portal.
Chapter Summary:
The Pines cope with the aftermath of their first therapy appointment, Dr. Braum and Lottie try to help Ford but he inadvertently helps them remember something important, Dipper and Mabel find a way to discover what has Ford so distressed, and Stan realizes he actually is good at being comforting.
Notes:
~Yeah... Another chapter that got too long and became two but the title covers the theme of both so... Part 1 and part 2 it is. ~Warnings: Begins with one character seeing another in a negative light due to current circumstances but there is more to it that will resolve in time. Discussion of untreated depression and suicidal ideation and how it can affect other family members, continues with Ford's breakdown from the end of the last chapter, sedation of a patient who is a danger to himself, and there's one more warning I'll put in the end notes on AO3 because it's potentially spoilery. ~OH! The Patented, Ma-Approved Method of Soothing a Stan Twin to Sleep is pretty relevant to this chapter (but it's just additional story and not necessary to understand this). ~Sorry this took so long, things have been busy in both good ways and stressful ones that turned out okay, one of which was evacuating from a hurricane by the same name as a character in this (awkward).

So….what’s Miyuki and Spork doing in their afterlife? How did they ended up falling for each other when they were alive? I know the green control brain made Miyuki break it off with him (jealous old hag😅) but where there awkward moments between them after that? How did Spork feel when he heard sh died?
Speaking of which. Who fathered Miyuki’s sworm? Is he still around even after her death?
Mic there is punishment in the afterlife, those three control brains need everything thrown at them for making their own people live in total hell because of their ruling. Has anyone in their past get to meet with them? Any sympathizers? Coddle drones? A past love interest that didn’t end well?
In the beginning of the 18-years-later au, Miyuki and Spork's PAKs and spirits are trapped in the belly of Zim's Infinite Energy Absorbing Thingy creation. Miyuki and Spork are kind of forced to face each other and make peace with the mistakes they made with each other in life while trapped. Obviously, Miyuki has more to apologize for. It's difficult for both of them, but eventually their bond and love for each other is strengthened because of it.
There is this whole subplot around Dipper accidentally pulling the IEAT (and Chammy Wamboo) through Ford's interdimensional portal.
Zim manages to get the IEAT to regurgitate their PAKs, freeing their spirits. He also uses their PAKs for his own research… which proves essential in future battles against the control brain ultimate upgrade.
(this is a continuation of another subplot where Zim summons Bill Cypher and makes a deal which results in an alternate reality where Bill controls the earth/ kills off the human race in exchange for Zim becoming a towering tallests who controls the entire irken race/ empire and makes the control brains subservient to his will.
This reality is eventually destroyed by an unlikely team up between Reg, Mini Moose Pepito Diablo and tallest Zim (who quickly realizes his fantasy existence does not bring him the joy or purpose he thought it would). Reg struggles to keep Bill trapped in a D&D style pocket dimension he has to continually build upon using the infinity sided dice, graph paper and his imagination.
This experience gives Reg some pretty bad PTSD. Reg, Zim and the others involved in rescuing their main reality keep this a secret until the IEAT return subplot pops up… but I got off topic; excuse me.)
As for during Miyuki's reign as tallest, almost every moment between her and Spork was awkward, mostly because of the Green brain constantly trying to drive a wedge between them.
Despite the backlash from Miyuki, Spork continued to think if Miyuki as his dearest friend. He continued to pine for her, silently. Spork was devastated when Miyuki died, but was under strict orders from the control brains to never display his grief in public. They wanted her reign and death swept under the rug. Spork is secretly glad his reign was so short. Existence felt hollow without her.
They were friends since smeethood; born on the same day in the same hall of the smeetery. Spork and Miyuki were always close in height, always standing just above their peers. Miyuki was always the more adventurous of the two and often dragged Spork on misadventures throughout the smeetery.
As cadets they were often paired with each other during holo combat training and real-time battle simulations.
They didn’t become a romantic couple until their years as foot generals, specifically in the early days of the Irken/ Planet Jacker war. Spork saved Miyuki during a particularly chaotic and violent ground battle. There was no denying for her Spork's loyalty and bravery made up for any visual appeal he lacked after that
Tumblr media
For his personal protection, physically and professionally the drone who sired Miyuki's swarm was never spoken of by her. The deed was done in secret, in Miyuki's private chamber, designed to block the telepathic shackle connecting tallest and control brain.
The only other drone who knew his name is Mem, but that was centuries ago. The sire drone has enjoyed a long prosperous life and career, so as long as it's kept hush hush so to ensure his PAK will join the core collective, it should be okay to reveal it.
Believe it or not, it was PieLord Emis-Gee. He had broken the Irken power lifting record at the time. Miyuki was highly impressed by his raw strength (his cooking skills were a huge plus too. PieLord Gee makes the best muffins and cupcakes among many other items on the menu).
Miyuki was not very educated on safety practices or successful methods on natural Irken reproduction. Emis Gee, though he was fertile (rare for a drone his height) and he did the job, he was a little too…sharp and rough on contact, to be as vague as possible. The too deep puncture lead to complications on top of several other pre existing complications wich ultimately lead to Miyuki losing her swarm. Emis-Gee was heartbroken for her, but he was grateful she never blamed him or threw him in front of the death cannon, so to speak.
(This botched attempt was neither of their fault. When sent to the mandatory fertility seminar, modern Irken women are given as little information on the subject as possible and what little information is given, 45% is medically inaccurate or just propaganda . Irken males are never formally educated on the subject, so young Emis-Gee was operating completely blind. He was terrified to try at all, but orders are orders. You don’t say no to tallest Miyuki.)
When the control brains finally die, their punishment involves every person, Irken or otherwise, lining up to carve their grievances or the story of how the control brains hurt them/ destroyed their lives. (3 lines that seemingly stretch on for eternity)
Once the cuts into their flesh scab over the next person in line walks up to carve their story with a dull/ rusted blade, a shard of jagged glass ect. or their own claws, depending on the species of the individual carving their story.
Some people choose to stop carving and just speak to the brains. Most find it more satisfying to carve, but the brains were Irken once too. Some remember who they were and feel some kind of sympathy for them, even if it's difficult to muster that kind of sympathy from the pain they endured at the hands of the brains.
The control brains do in fact face eventually face everyone they ever hurt. They are forced to listen to their victim's stories and reflect on the villainous role they played. It takes an inconceivable amount of time, but the brains eventually learn to feel empathy and sympathy for those they hurt. They eventually feel genuine regret and make their apologies with sincerity. Until then, their wounds remain open, bleeding and festering.
