More incorrect quotes from the delightful @justweirddino
Organising these in a set so I respond to all of them, also I have the transcripts in the image descriptions.

Oh gosh so many to react to /pos
Macaque spent a lot of time either on the moon, in the Jade Palace, or in the wilds. He thinks Wukong's sense of enviromental hygiene is appaling for a monkey with his own treasury. Is def the one of the pair who starts organising/tidying up anywhere they go. Pigsy starts yelling like Gordon Ramsey if there's any mess in the kitchen or pantry area - chef habits.
2. Nezha mentions that he's part lotus around Sandy, and the big blue softy cant bring himself to eat lotus roots ever again. Wukong stayed vegan for a long time, but sometimes a monkey needs some protein. Macaque meanwhile has infact eaten other sapient beings, granted if they were already dead.
3. MK whenever they have to go somewhere vaguelly horrifying; "This Is fine." :) Can't wait till this little guy stumbles into Diyu.
Tumblr media
4. Nezha holds the family braincell whenever Pigsy isn't available. I love how it's 100% in all their characters; Macaque would be the type to steal a car if it helped with the situation (no matter how petty). Wukong does not fear personal injury. And MK is basically a trash disposal unit when it comes to materials.
5. Wukong is 100% a "if my knee is gonna give me chronic pain, just amputate the leg"-kinda guy. Probably thinks its acceptable to take out your body parts for maintenace. He legit jokes about it during a Jttw chapter where he has to gut himself to show up some taoist priests.
6. Pigsy. Family braincell holder, and very tired of Wukong's nonsense.
7. It took Mei and MK a while to question anything in the TMKATI au. Mei chalked her comparatively dark complexion up to Macaque or Tang, and the scales and fire to whatever Big Bro Nezha was. Kid logic. There was def a period of time where Mei just knew she wa adopted, but the parents hadn't broken the news to her yet. It was an awkward conversation.
Tumblr media
8. Erlang is stress incarnate. That third eye gives him images he does not want to see. Just radiates stress like a salt lamp. XD
9. Tbf we are talking about a manipulative murder monkey. MK introduces anyone to Macaque and it's like;
Tumblr media
10. I don't know why, but I adore the idea of the Spider Gang post-S3 joining up with Red and the Demon Bull fam. Red probably admires Syntax's programming skills on the Spider-Bots, and offers him a job maintaining the Bull Clones... but DBK and Red are still a bit sore from New Years so they don't 100% trust or respect the spiders just yet. XD

Ty so much for sending these in! These weer really fun to read and to think about.

Hello LMK fandom. Please enjoy my nonsensical rambling of an au I have concocted and decided to name the “Bonds that Bind Us” or the BBU au
(CW for implied child neglect & harm, nothing too graphic though, also implied murder)
* Mei, MK & Red have been friends since childhood. Red ages differently so while chronologically he’s over hundreds of years old, he’s only about a year older then the other two human-age-wise
* Mei & Red knew each other before either really knew MK bc they go to the same private school (does private school exist for elementary grade kids???) bc Mei’s Fam is rich (and descended from Bai Long Ma; totally didn't forget his name and have to look it up…) and I assume so is Red’s, if not famous for being a part of the demon bull family. The school was specially designed and organized to teach children in the family trees of the great heroes (and villains) of the world
* Tang & Pigsy have been together for a while and found MK when he was only 3 or so years old alone at the market, and after bringing him back to his clearly uncaring foster home, had a quick talk with each other, and decided to adopt him on the spot
* It was hard, since it was a kind of spur of the moment decision, but neither of them regret it for even a second, not when they have such an amazing, bright (in more ways than one) and energetic son
* MK met Mei first, when they were around 6, and had tried to fight off some bullies who stole her stuffed dragon. Tang was not very happy about the black eye his son had that day, and neither was Pigsy, even though they had tried to cover it up, then tried to say it was bc he fell. Pigsy saw through it all. He would never hurt a child (even if they were a few little punks who stole from a little girl and punched his son), but he certainly gave them all the scare of their lives
* Pigsy served Mei some noodles while she waited for her parents to pick her up (What was a 6 year old doing with a phone and credit card???), and even if the whole “you stood up for me and got my prized plushie back, even got a black eye for it” thing certainly helped her feel favorable towards MK, they instantly clicked due to their shared hobbies and interests. And energies
* It wasn’t too long till Mei dragged Red along to meet MK too. It took a bit longer for Red to warm up to the boy, but it had only been a couple days before the three were inseparable
* So inseparable in fact that when school came around, Mei and Red purposefully got themselves suspended and soon expelled from their private school, somehow convinced their respective parents to enroll them in the same school MK was going to, and insisted they be enrolled in the same classes from then on (not exactly how school works, but they worked it out)
* Mac had been resurrected for a while, but Mayor kept him in line (mostly). He had been secretly visiting FFM and watching Wukong from the shadows. At first he was constantly holding back from lashing out and taking revenge on who had once been his greatest friend and most devoted lover. But after a while (especially when he began to overhear Wukong sobbing, apologizing to so many people, including Mac) he thought through what had happened on that fateful day and decided that he wanted to work things out with his sun. Too bad the Bone Demon and her loyal dog would never allow for it.
* Another thing about Bone Demon and her dog, they decided early on that she would need a vessel, a host, and so they searched for the perfect host, and soon landed on a child, no more than a 1 year old. Mayor just had to deal with her parent first. Mac was unaware of what they were doing, they always kept him in the dark. It wasn’t until Mayor came back with a weeping child that he put the pieces together. He couldn’t do much besides show his disgust in his face and body language, and all he could do for the child was help her feel as safe as possible
* It was the culmination of wanting to someday reconnect with Wukong and his sudden, unexplainable urge to protect this baby that made him decide he had to escape. A bit of time passes and miraculously he has gone under the Mayor & Bone Demon’s radar to find a way to break him (and the girl) out of the demon’s chains. It wasn’t a guarantee, but it was the best he had. A small enchanted knife that if he simply nicked their wrists it would set them free. He felt horrible having to hurt the girl but he quickly cut them both free and immediately shadowed away
* He had originally planned on leaving the girl at an orphanage or foster home, but first had to make sure she was properly fed, bathed, clothed, comforted, and not to mention her wrists had to recover first too, and-
* It was all over for him the second she said “Baba!” reaching up to grab at his face
* It was when she was around 5 that Mayor found their “home” (a run down house that Mac had to resort to when staying at hotels, motels and the like had gotten too expensive). Mac managed to fight him off, but as he held his trembling daughter in his arms, he knew he alone couldn’t keep her safe
* It was not the greatest of reunions, but he had not many other choices. As far as Mac knew, PIF was still mourning her trapped husband while having to raise her own child, he didn’t want to add anymore to his kinda sorta not by blood sister’s plate. And in truth while he did believe Wukong could protect Bai He (going with this name bc it’s the most popular and therefore it’s easier to know who I’m referring to when I use it) much better than Mac ever could, he also just wanted to see his king, his sun again. He wasn’t sure whether he was surprised or not that it hadn’t taken much convincing for the Monkey King to agree to help keep them safe from BD and Mayor. He had always been rather kind, especially when there was a child (and not a fully grown malicious demon disguised as a child) involved. He certainly didn’t expect the offer to extend to himself however
* The night of this agreement Wukong caught Macaque getting ready to leave. He got angry, yelled at him for leaving his daughter behind. Mac got angry too, and yelled back that he was no father and they both knew it. A heated argument, turned into a hushed conversation later and the two found themselves curled tightly around each other. Everything wasn’t settled just yet, but it had begun to. When Bai He came out and questioned why her father was crying, saying she would make sure to protect him with a supremely determined expression on her small face, the two monkeys laughed as Mac swept her up and took her back inside. If he also leaned into Wukong’s hesitant arm and side, it was neither here nor there
* Bai He grew up, first with one father and said father’s Kinda sorta maybe friend, then with her two fathers. When she turned 10 they decided to enroll her in human public school, and at her request, a little sort of “big brother and sister” club
* MK and Mei had to beg on their knees for Red Son to join them in being “big siblings” to a bunch of children from the ages of 5 to 13 (They were all about 16-17 at the time). They still had to drag him along on their first day. Turns out most kids had already been assigned to one or two teen “siblings”, all except one girl

I’ve got more trust me but I think that’s good enough for now. Please tell me what you think and feel free to ask about this au!!!

Monkie in The Bull Family au
It’s chaos on the MKD again, you know what that means!!
It’s au time, baby!!
So basically, this au takes place after episode 10, when DBK gets possessed and attempts parricide. MK jumps in to stop him, Iron fan and Red son team up with MK, you know how this goes.
However, after all of this goes down, the Demon Bull fam are now indebted to MK for helping them with the Baigujing. So they stop trying to wreck the city as much, and actually begin helping him out every now and then.
As this goes on, the family slowly starts losing their hatred for him, and MK even starts endearing himself to them quite a bit.
The first one to come around is Red son. After all, MK did save his life, and Red son’s never really had a friend who will listen to him infodump about mechanics and engineering without looking bored five minutes in. (I have a tiny little head canon that Red son is autistic, and you can pry it from my cold dead hands) Eventually, Red son starts to develop a massive crush on MK, but is wayyy too awkward to say anything about it.
The next one to come around is, surprisingly, the Demon Bull King himself. At first, he is very disdainful toward MK, still considering him nothing more than a thief and a coward. He knows that MK freed him from the white bone spirit, he knows that MK saved his wife and son, but he remembers none of it, and he hasn’t seen anything like that since then.
But then, he walks in on Red son talking to MK one day. DBK never really understood any of that technical jargon his son was spitting, so he never really listened to it. But he sees Red son infodumping about his latest invention and how it works and all the ins and outs and MK, to DBK’s surprise, looks genuinely interested in what Red son is saying. And Red son looks so happy to have some one who will listen to him for once, someone who will talk to him. After that, DBK begins to warm up to MK.
The last one to come around is Princess Iron fan. She doesn’t exactly hate MK per se, but she’s still very cold toward him and often ignores him. She’ll talk to him, sure, and she’ll help him out if he has trouble during a demon fight, but she remains very distant.
Until one day, when she finds MK curled up in an alleyway having a panic attack. And immediately, mother instincts kick in. Iron fan kneels down to face MK, and starts talking him through the attack.
Which is how she finds out that MK was thrown onto the streets as a young boy by his parents, and was found by Pigsy, who ended up taking him in. Apparently, his old parents had learned that he was the Monkie kid and had called him, prompting the breakdown in the alley.
This is what finally breaks Iron Fan’s walls. She may be an ancient demon, but she’s not a monster. Once MK calms down enough, Iron Fan helps him up and takes him to the Demon Bull fam’s new lair, where she gets him a blanket and some warm tea.
She pretty much decides right then and there that MK is part of the Demon Bull fam, screw what anyone else says, and she and MK become a lot closer after that night.
Eventually, it gets to the point where MK will spend some weekends with the Demon Bull fam, as almost a joint custody thing. Obviously, this is done by either Red son or Iron Fan just dropping in and nabbing him from wherever the hell Mk may be. At the arcade with Mei? Red son needs him to look at a blueprint he’s working on. Fighting a demon? Iron Fan jumps in to help him, and she would be remiss not to help bandage him up after the fact.
MK is completely oblivious at first. He knows that the Demon Bull fam became a lot more chill after the whole Baigujing thing, this is probably just their way of thanking him.
It’s only when he’s sitting down to breakfast with them one day that he realizes that he’s been sort of adopted by this weird, ancient, powerful demon family.
And oddly enough, he’s perfectly fine with that.

How good is Shadowpeach at handling things when the kids are sick? Like, the first times had to be terrible for them, even with what they know from taking care of sick monkeys.
Also, allergies. Minor ones like Hay Fever probs not that big of a deal, but if any kid has an allergy that is anaphylactic, then ooooh boy, that had to be scary for them.
Oh gosh. I have an entire idea for the first time MK gets sick in the au.
Like he was few months old and just caught something that looks serious to Shadowpeach. Like, scarily serious. Like "oh buddha, please don't take our kid" serious. Lots of crying (from parents and baby), and wrecking the kitchen trying to do alchemy. Wukong was torn on getting a human or a demon doctor.
Later Pigsy and Tang walk in after recieving a frantic phone-call and they too determine that it would be better to be safe than sorry, and get the kid to a doctor.
It was run-of-the-mill infant Bronchiolitis. Very easy to treat and really common, but very dramatic to new parents.
Despite it being one the most common infections a baby gets, Shadowpeach kick themselves for the next few weeks over "letting" the baby get sick. Luckily the Demon Bull couple send a "get well soon" letter with details on the first time Red got sick (fire, lots of it) that puts some of the self-loathing to rest. They can be a bit smothering when any of the kids is sick.
Later on they have to deal with another very scary allergy.
Bai He's name turns out to be ironic. As with most cats/cat-demons; she's extremely allergic to Lilies. As in; "if a piece of pollen gets in my nose I'm a wheezing mess"-level allergic. During her first easter with the family, she unknowingly took a big sniff (and a bite) of a daffodil at the park and has a massive anaphylaxis reaction. Carnage ensued until a helpful bystander pulled out an epipen. Shadowpeach were seconds away from personally erasing the whole species of daffodil from the earth before Bai He protested against it (it wasn't the flower's fault after all). Bai He and her adoptive family now keep at least one epipen on them at all times in the rare case of flare ups. Thankfull the fam, especially Sandy, rarely ever have such flowers around.
