Cinderella Castle Dream Lights: Magic Kingdom (2007-2019)
Propaganda:
So these were the annual holiday lights they put on the castle, and my gosh, the photos do not do them justice! They are absolutely gorgeous and just SO magical!!! They used Covid as an excuse for them not coming back after the pandemic, but now that its over, they are keeping these lame dim projections. Now, normally i like the castle projections, but NOT FOR CHRISTMAS! It cannot near compare to the absolute magic of those dream lights! It makes me so sad!

And for comparison, this is it this now/this year:

Old Cinderella Castle colors: Magic Kingdom (1971-2019)
Propaganda:
Ever since opening, the castle has always been blue and white, well in 2019, they started painting it pink and white, which is closer to the color scheme for Disneyland's sleeping beauty castle. While it is pretty to look at, it just isn't the same! The blue was just so iconic and more closely related with Cinderella anyways. Here is to hoping they change it back soon now that the 50th is over, but i highly doubt it

⚠️ Want all to be aware there is more to GA Family, née GAC, than G-rated Christmas movies. Though I’m including dates and details here in the spirit of being a completist, worth noting the funding and founding of this channel, which comes from the Donald Trump-aligned Hicks Equity Group, brings with it an explicit anti-diversity agenda, hiding under guise of harmless sounding words like “family-friendly” and “safe” programming. More detailed explanation here (bottom of page), and additional more recent thoughts, for those who want it. And if you’re looking for outside sources on GAF’s political affiliations and lack of inclusion, see these stories from The Daily Beast, Vulture, the L.A. Times and Bloomberg.

🔶🔸TOKYO REVENGERS: CHRISTMAS SHOWDOWN
Tumblr media
Press F for Crunchyroll.
youtube
In produzione presso lo studio 8-BIT (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Blue Lock), l'anime ha come regista un insospettabile Yusuke Yamamoto (Encouragement of Climb, OshiBudo).
🔶🔸 MURAI IN LOVE
Tumblr media
🔶🔸DRAGONS OF WONDERHATCH
Tumblr media
🔶🔸PROJECT BULLET/BULLET
Tumblr media

The Return of Cast Member-to-Guest Pin Trading at Walt Disney World
Tumblr media
After a hiatus of over three years, Walt Disney World has announced the highly anticipated return of cast member-to-guest pin trading across all four theme parks and Disney Springs. This beloved tradition, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024, has been a cherished part of the Disney experience for countless fans and collectors. Starting April 7th, 2024, guests can once again approach cast members wearing lanyards or pin pouches to trade their Disney pins, reigniting the magic of this interactive hobby.
Tumblr media
A Brief History of Disney Pin Trading
Disney pin trading has its roots dating back to the early days of the theme parks, but it wasn't until the Millennium Celebration at Walt Disney World in 1999 that the activity truly took off. As part of the festivities, Disney introduced the concept of pin trading, encouraging guests to collect and trade pins featuring beloved characters, attractions, and icons from the parks.  The idea was an instant hit, capturing the hearts of Disney fans worldwide. Over the years, pin trading evolved into a full-fledged hobby, with Disney releasing thousands of unique pins in various collections and limited editions. Collectors would scour the parks, trading with cast members and fellow guests, in pursuit of their desired pins.
Tumblr media
The Pin Trading Experience
At its core, Disney pin trading is a simple yet engaging activity. Guests can approach cast members wearing lanyards or pin pouches and ask to trade pins. The cast members are required to trade with guests, provided the pins meet certain criteria, such as bearing the official Disney copyright and depicting a Disney character, attraction, or icon.  The thrill of pin trading lies in the element of surprise and the joy of discovering new pins to add to one's collection. Each trade is a unique experience, as guests never know what pins a cast member might have on their lanyard or what fellow collectors might be willing to part with.
Tumblr media
Pin Trading Etiquette
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, Disney has established a set of pin trading etiquette guidelines: - Only official Disney pins with the Disney copyright on the back can be traded. - Pins should be in good, undamaged condition with the pin backing attached. - Guests can trade a maximum of two pins per cast member or trading board per day. - Money, gifts, vouchers, or receipts cannot be exchanged for pins. - Guests should refrain from touching a cast member's or another guest's pins or lanyard without permission.  By following these guidelines, pin traders can create a respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
Tumblr media
The Allure of Pin Trading
Pin trading holds a special appeal for Disney fans of all ages. For children, it's a fun way to interact with cast members, collect souvenirs, and learn about different characters and attractions. For adults, it taps into the nostalgia of childhood and the thrill of collecting unique and limited-edition pins. Beyond the collecting aspect, pin trading fosters a sense of community among Disney enthusiasts. Traders often share stories, swap tips, and bond over their shared passion for the hobby. It's not uncommon to see groups of pin traders gathered around trading boards, eagerly swapping pins and making new friends along the way.
Tumblr media
Pin Trading Locations at Walt Disney World
With the return of cast member-to-guest pin trading, guests can once again seek out cast members wearing lanyards or pin pouches throughout Walt Disney World. Some popular pin trading locations include: - Magic Kingdom: Frontier Trading Post, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, and the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. - EPCOT: Pin Traders at the Camera Center, various World Showcase pavilions, and the Art of Disney store. - Disney's Hollywood Studios: Once Upon a Time and Sid Cahuenga's One-of-a-Kind shops. - Disney's Animal Kingdom: Discovery Trading Company and various merchandise locations throughout the park.  Additionally, Disney Springs offers a dedicated Pin Traders store, as well as cast members trading at various retail locations throughout the area.
Tumblr media
Tips for Successful Pin Trading
To make the most of your pin trading experience at Walt Disney World, consider the following tips: - Start with a starter set: If you're new to pin trading, consider purchasing a starter set, which typically includes a lanyard and a few pins to get you started. - Bring a trading bag or binder: Invest in a trading bag or binder to keep your pins organized and protected during your Disney adventure. - Trade early: Cast members often stock their lanyards with fresh pins in the morning, so try to trade early for the best selection. - Be open to trades: While you may have specific pins in mind, be open to trading for pins you didn't initially consider. You never know what hidden gems you might discover. - Respect the etiquette: Remember to follow Disney's pin trading etiquette guidelines to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. - Have fun!: Above all, remember that pin trading is meant to be a fun and engaging activity. Embrace the spirit of the hobby and enjoy the journey of building your collection.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
The return of cast member-to-guest pin trading at Walt Disney World marks the revival of a beloved tradition that has captured the hearts of Disney fans for over two decades. As guests once again approach cast members wearing lanyards or pin pouches, the magic of this interactive hobby will be reignited, allowing collectors to pursue their desired pins and create lasting memories. Whether you're a seasoned pin trader or a newcomer to the hobby, the allure of pin trading lies in the thrill of the chase, the joy of discovery, and the sense of community it fosters among Disney enthusiasts. Disneyland gets the best in Bishop Marvin Sapp
Tumblr media
The Disney experience has been an integral part of the lives of Bishop Marvin Sapp and his children. Sapp and his family have made annual trips to the Happiest Place on Earth for the greater part of more than two decades. The magic never gets old for the longtime minister and veteran gospel singer.  “I’m a Disney fanatic,” Sapp said during a video conference interview. “ For the last twenty-seven years, my children and I have gone to Disney World twice a year. We go every August, and we go every Christmas. And that has been our thing as a family… to the point that my daughter…she has Disney stock."
Tumblr media

Franklin died Aug. 16, 2018 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 76. (AP Photo/Paul Sancya) “So the fact that they thought enough of me to invite me to be a part of such an amazing event, I’m just honored. I’m just ready to get there, hit the stage, and give my very best, and hopefully, you know, people will be blessed by that which they hear, we share, ” he added.      This year, Sapp, the recipient of 24 Stellar Awards and 13 Grammy nominations, was invited to participate in the Disneyland Celebrate Gospel mega event, which features local and well-known gospel choirs.  Sapp, along with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, are the headliners as Disneyland incorporates the sound of gospel music into the theme park as part of its Black History Month homage.  Known for his gospel-tuned megahits “The Best in Me” and “Never Would Have Made It,” Sapp’s adoration for the Magic Kingdom is not about the rides. What has made the Disney touch come alive for the “My Testimony” singer is the entire ambiance of what Disney is about, he said.  “Whenever I go to Disney, I look at things different than most people go,” Sapp said. “I can count the number of rides that I’ve ridden on the last twenty-something years. But whenever they’re doing a re-model or they’re building something, they always put plaques of you know, things that Walt Disney had said or different statements. When they have their parades or when they do their shows, they always have a message that’s in there that’s positive, that talks about what you can do and what you can accomplish.”  “And honestly, as a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, you know, that environment in itself, you know…I go there just to retreat and to be around that environment and literally forecast for my future and forecast for my church’s future. So we can say that it’s a magical place. I choose to think that it’s an empowering place that gives you…For me, it ignites the fire on the inside of me that allows me to go back home and do great exploits.”            Sapp is one of the greatest gospel singers in the world. Disneyland and its guests are blessed to have this phenomenal singer and minister in their presence. The month of February is celebrated worldwide in recognition of all the contributions Black Americans have given to the United States and worldwide.  From slavery to the Reconstruction era to Jim Crow to today, at the core of the existence of the Black American experience has been the gift to sing our hearts out. My grandmother and mother used to sing those old hymns around the house all week and on Sunday mornings when we attended church.  The sounds of gospel stalwarts like Mahalia Jackson, The Jackson Southernaires, Rev. James Cleveland, Gospel Keynotes, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dorothy Love Coates and The Gospel Harmonettes, Shirley Caesar, and Sam Cooke resonated throughout my house as I grew up. It was always present. You could not escape it.  NEW MARVIN SAPP ALBUM SUBSTANCE AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER “All In Your Hands” and “You Kept Me”Available with Pre-Order Copy or Click the link in my bio https://t.co/7Xkch7vtZI pic.twitter.com/NVMQw9Kegc— Marvin L. Sapp (@marvinsapp) May 25, 2022 That generation of gospel music gave way to individuals like Sapp, Edwin and Walter Hawkins, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Andre Crouch, The Winans, Donald Lawrence, Fred Hammond and Commissioned, and John P. Kee and The New Life Community Choir. Today’s gospel music has shifted to a more Hosanna sound that features more praise and worship.      Sapp and Cobbs Leonard are both throwbacks to an era of gospel music that this writer grew up with whereas the more contemporary sounds of William McDowell and Tye Tribbett are ushering this tradition into the future. The genre of gospel music may have shifted, but the tie-in to Black History Month is one of the same, said Sapp.  “Gospel music is Black history,” Sapp remarked. “That’s just fact. You know, even when you go back to the time, you know, of individuals in slavery. The songs that they sung, from Harriet Tubman until now, it was a call. There was a response. It was a message of hope and help. And I think that, you know, gospel music still is that. It’s the good news of Jesus Christ, but it’s also a message of help. It’s also a message of hope that says that no matter how difficult or challenging life may seem to be, that there is a way out. And that way out may not always be physical, but it’s definitely spiritual.”       Bishop Marvin Sapp is the pastor of The Chosen Vessel Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Top Image Photo Caption: Grammy Award-Winning Recording Artist and Pastor, Marvin Sapp speaks during the Global United Fellowship Press Conference at the Omni Hotel and Resort on July 7, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. Established in 2013 under the leadership of Bishop Neil C.
