so, this is what i'm in two minds about... i want to.

i LOVE indie and jj, and their little tilly... but there's one thing that really puts me off writing about them again...

it's going to sound petty, and i think i've spoken about this before, but it's kiara... i absolutely HATE her character in the show and typically i would just get rid of her like poof bitch be gone... but it's kind of hard. she's in the later years series which means i can't get rid of her in domestic pleasures and she still has to be around... and also i think she's also one of indie's bridesmaids in the later years... so she's not easily poofable...

i really despise her character now bc of what the show and madison bailey have done with her and it seriously just ZAPS my motivation to write having to write about her (hence why when obx3 came out i started writing something new)

so idk, idk how to get around this whole thing. i want to but i need to figure out what i'm doing with myself and just tumblr in general atm

late night thought about indie

so since big john is making an appearance in s3 and they’re just not going to acknowledge how much of a shitty dad he was/is i will!!!

indie was very much the apple of his eye and she was such a daddy’s girl so he could genuinely do no wrong in her eyes but john b be knowing that he wasn’t a great dad to them — he literally prioritised his wild goose chase for gold that got him “killed” over his own kids, often leaving them to fend for themselves or with john b in charge. john b loves his dad and he has fond memories of him but a part of him has known he’s always been a better “dad” to indie than their own dad was. john b was the one who always made sure that she was safe, even if it came as a detriment to their relationship, whilst big john hid his shitty parenting with over the top gestures and big surprises. he was very much the equivalent of a disneyland parent

Is Jiara being canon gonna change Indie and JJ?

yano what? the one thing that i regret the most is getting rid of sarah. i hated her character in s1 and i loved kiara but since s2 my opinions have flipped. i love sarah’s character and kiara is honestly insufferable. i really wish i could re-write things and have sarah still be around

i genuinely want to kill kiara off but i know that i can’t do it in the domestic pleasures bc she’s in the later years. but my issue is that i just really hate writing her character. i don’t like her and i find it really hard/draining to do so. i don’t envision her being a part of the universe whatsoever

but up until this point (mostly written during s1 and the wait for s2), indie and kiara have a sister-like relationship so i’m just stuck
