Holy I discovered the deep discourse because of the mix bag which is the Earth Locker podcast. Like okay I totally understand why people would avoid it (misgendering and ignorant vibe of Tom’s story and the subsequent discussion of drag by the three cis men, Tom talking over the guest, straight up a lot of health ableism stuff — aka the episodes I don’t want to listen to)

But I know they’re trying honestly quite actually enjoy some of the topic jumping conversations. Like how they all met and weird facts/stories. I really really hope they get more people of color or actually gender queer people (Gerard Way and Elliot Page are literally right there). But to all the directions three men could be talking about stuff environmental issues wise is okay. I personally care about more of that stuff than all the health food stuff. I mean some guests actually bring up good points about mental health healing on the one about trauma. Take all of this with a grain of salt because I only listened to like three episodes.

Still trying to figure out if anything of this even matters if I’m pretty sure the podcast is an abandoned project that ended. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In the old commonplace version of rjk events where rk never broke up and Jamie later joins the relationship (so rk still remain publicly facing whilst rjk is kept secret, at least in the beginning) I love to imagine Jamie sets his phone background to a picture like that brett-juno hand holding one after some event rk attended, because he can't get over how good they both look and how sexy they are, and then in the locker room the next day the boys all see it and are like "??? damn bro you really ship them, huh." i am so fascinated by the stars having multiple notorious (or presumed) "locker room cancers" and instead of clearly seeing that divide or them crumbling because of that they just.... are fine. like some of the cancers are Bad at Hockey which is another thing. but in terms of team cohesion theyre like "oh hes awful? we love him<3" like. the vibes in that locker room are either pristine and beautiful or absolutely fucking rancid and i do not know which i believe more.
