Here are my 3 personal best (in no particular order)

1.Tekken 3

The first time I truly enjoyed playing a fighting game (I still hate playing PvP in fighting games cuz an actual human is way better at it than me) was when I finally approached a real Tekken pro. A big arcade opened up in my city and I was the only girl who went there every weekend and buy 30 tokens (Php 90.00) to feed the various machines. I saw this tall college dude play King and I was mesmerized watching him pull all of Kings grapples. After several months, I watched him from behind, playing Tekken 3 until I muster up the courage to ask him how he pulled off all his moves. The college dud pulled a piece of paper and pen and began to write down all of Kings' combos and grabs, and gave it to me! Since then I have practiced on every Tekken 3 machine, pulled off all Kings' impressive grapples to a growing audience who couldn't believe their eyes that this little highschool girl is playing Tekken 3 and beating it! Oh and I became good at the games that I reduced my 30 tokens to 5.

2. Resident Evil 2 (PS1)

This game came with the console my mom gave me. First time I popped the disc in and chose Leon S Kennedy on normal mode, I was piled upon by zombies and died. That game over screen traumatized me and I did not pick up RE for months! When I did gave it a second chance, I notice there was a 3rd mode: ARRANGED. It made the game ridiculously easy by giving me all the weapons, and so I plowed through Raccoon City with my machine gun and rocket launcher. It was fun until it wasn't. I decided to play the game on Normal, got eaten and died, then powered through it. Finally beat the game on Normal and Hard. Also went for the S Rank and bonus content. Now I love all horror and survival horror games (Silent Hill, Outlast, Evil Within, etc). It became my favorite genre.

3. The Witcher 3

Had it not for this game, I wouldn't have made The Nilfgaardian Collection or started digital art. I think it was December 2019 (or 16 I dunno, it was Xmas), my brother gave me two choices: TW3 or FF15. I wanted FF15 cuz I have always been a fan of Final Fantasy and TW3 was hyped to the heavens. I wanted to know if the hype was justified and so I got TW3 GOTY edition. The hype... was well deserved! I was hooked, I plat the game, I decided to make fanarts of my fave character (Emhyr) and gave myself a goal: to have the biggest collection of Emhyr and Nilfgaard pics and be known as that crazy chick with an unhealthy obsession to Emhyr and his Nilfgaardian empire. Thus cemented the Nilfgaardian Collection in the fandom!

Every porn take I see blow up on here says the exact same thing and it’s wild to see 20,000 people play absolutely stupid every single time lol. “2 people should be allowed to record themselves having good angel consensual sex and that’s why porn is good actually so stop saying it’s bad😇” Ok how come that’s your position that’s not even a very divisive thing to say. Come on now defend the porn made in a studio with a pornstar man and a pornstar woman whose Instagram comments are full of old men describing how they’d like to violate her (best case scenario). Like WHO is taking up an issue with the ethical shit when they talk about porn. That’s literally 2% of porn you assholes KNOW the other 98% (the pornhub most searched , the shit most curious 11 year olds will see first) is simulated rape/incest/pedophilia (oftentimes all 3). I’m not saying the straight guy favourites are all like this, but even the majority of “normal” porn reestablishes really fucked up ways to view women (as do things like weightwatchers and razor ads but that’s probably pushing it a bit too much on here). I guess part of the problem is that hardly anybody on this website can think or see beyond themselves and their own porn habits. Like sure maybe (maybe) Rocko| 23| he/they only gets off to AO3 fanfiction but the kink freedom warriors don’t love mentioning the swaths of men that go abt their day fantasizing about controlling or hurting women. Do they just not exist when we consider the effects porn has on us? Or are they not supposed to be a problem, and I’m just another grouch yucking somebody’s yum? The men that are our classmates and coworkers and family members etc etc the men we have to interact with daily. Like I’m sorry but not everyone lives in Tumblr world 100% of the time lol it doesn’t make us anti sex crones to think it’s weird that porn is so accessible and commercialized and STILL so influenced by misogyny (again I’m talking THE MAJORITY of it not the ethical shit everyone uses as an example when defending porn). I’m starting to get ads from onlyfans telling me to sign up 👍 telling me hey girl this is such a fun opportunity to make money. Is that not like, evil?? Is that not scary to anyone? Like now it’s the company itself explaining how good and empowering it is to have your income dictated by how jackoffable you are deemed by strangers forming fantasies surrounding your body? Whether my body is a particular fetish? Nobody online rly wants to talk about the other side of sex work. Abt how it’s so closely linked to addiction and poverty in real life. It’s not just silly cute cosplay photoshoots that stay within the greater queer community. And even when it is, if you come across any trans OF creators twitter, a great chunk of their comments are (often conservative) men who want to hurt/degrade them. It’s not a new or made up phenomenon. You can very much witness it for yourself. Most people DO witness it, I guess it’s just not really a priority so it’s better ignored? It’s useless trying to have a normal conversation about these things cause everybody reblogs the same posts to show they share the same opinions. When the internet is this fast ur priorities shift, I get it. It’s easier to form opinions based on others safe agreeable pre-written ones. So often I see or hear someone regurgitating some shit I KNOW they read on a Tumblr post or heard in a YouTube essay cause bro I saw it too. Sometimes it’s straight up word for word. Like what ! Does nobody read books anymore. Or go to work. Or go outside and talk to people. I know it’s hard to find time to think about things much when there r so many tiktoks to watch, posts to read, pictures to chuckle and so little free-time in your day to do all that. It’s crazy to me that if you’re not a woman on here , you’re probably not gonna think about how women are treated at all.

Ok. But really now. Here are the ULTIMATE rakings for my three favorite guys. Because theyre the onlu guys ever actuallly okay shh

3. Albedo (sorry albedo) honestly. i love albedo very much. do not get me wrong. he is such a sweet boy and i would knit him a blanket if i could. But I also think compared to the other two,, im not as emotionally attached to him; if you asked me this question like. a year ago he'd absolutely be on top. but thats also because over a year ago i hadn't played silver thread or symbiosis. so. woe is me albedo'ss story is soooo near and dear to me. like, i love how he's being set up to have this huge divide between love and knowledge. And I will ABSOLUTELY eat that up when it happens. but sadly, a certain company hasn't given him more than like a smidgen of screentime in a very long time, so i think a lot of my fixation on him has dwindled :(

2. Beafford I love beaford. he is just. so funny. he's a college dropout; he likes anime; he forces alicia to watch anime; he cosplays; he has a cat keychain that resembles himself; he left home without saying anything; hes really intelligent but acts stupid. What can you NOT love about him?? (besides his horrific taste in fashion.) I think his personality is also very important to me. Because obviously he's not the most serious person. at all. But he can still convey how smart he is; I.E the way he was able to in the moment find a way to back up Alicia and also the Chinese room experiment. Maybe I'm just a big fan of characters who are smart and dont have it as their entire character; but I think thats just SO near and dear to me. He also clearly has some stuff going on considering his few mentions around his family. So I'm glad he got to come and (against his will) work with Alicia :)

mmint I think mint deserves this spot for a lot of reasons. One, magnolia is his mother so I am just slightly impartial. But also because two, hes so horribly sweet and tragic and kind that he KILLS me. Mint lives in the forest his whole life and is told explicitly to not go out into civilization. Does he want to live in the city and go to school? yes. and does he voice this? hardly. why? because he knows it makes magnolia sad. and he doesnt want to see his mom said. Mint meets lady in forest who looks the age of his mom, and said lady tells him his mom is evil. His initial response? He knows. He knows magnolia is evil. he already knows magnolia is a murderer. but he knows magnolia loves him and he loves him mom. so its okay. (In ending B) not a horribly long time later; same women shows up in his room at an unholy hour and within the next hour the SAME women has a gun to his moms head, which is clearly making his mom very distressed. within 5 minutes he finds out this women is his moms ex-wife. within that same 5 minute period his mom disappears and tells him to treat this women like his mom. A couple years later he comes back to the house and we find out he could never bring himself to call dove mom. He also finds out his mom kept all his drawings. Tears are streaming down my face.

Defense Witches 2 Characters - Other

Heyo for this final characters introductions I'll be sharing some of the other characters that made it into the game and some of the limited-timed events character descriptions. Just keep in mind especially for the seasonal characters the translated descriptions weren't fully clear this was sort of what I was able to get out of them >-<

Luna - Summon Spirt

"An ancient spirit that lives forever. It can be summoned based on an ancient contract. Although it does not fight itself, it collects magical power from the earth and gradually shares its magical power with the summoner. A mysterious being who has no concept of good or evil and accepts all things as they are. My hobby is building dungeons."

Lili and Lala - Summoners

"Blue-haired Lili and red-haired Lala, join forces and summon a hero! An unknown being who has a telepathic ability that only the two of them can communicate with, as they share a shared fate that one will die no matter who tries it. The theory of extraterrestrial life forms is also deeply rooted. Where the heroes are summoned from us also shrouded in mystery, and we are waiting for clarification."

Professor Linnel - Teacher

A graduate and head of the magic school. She is working as an apprentice teacher at the school while developing new magic that adds magic to music. She has a gentle and self-paced personality, and she speaks to students as if she were talking to small children. My hobby is watching concerts. Lately, I've been obsessed with the Luxor band, which is popular among young people."

Christmas Chloe

"The student council will hold a Christmas party. Chloe was given the role of Santa. As she was handing out promotional flyers in cosplay a person was captivated by her unique gestures. One after another Santa Chloe's popularity has now spread not only within the school but throughout the town. I can't tell from her expression but she (doesn't?) seems happy about it."

Christmas Daisy

"This year Daisy was chosen to play the role of Santa, who makes children's dreams come true at the Christmas Party. Daisy prepares for the event after intense training, but her false beard falls off during an important scene and she gives the wrong gift. I keep failing... She becomes completely depressed however during her final performance, she receives letters of gratitude from the children, and her usual smile returns."

New Years Cornet

"What is it? Everyone is wearing something called a "furisode"! I can't lose either! I'm going to call the tailor in the demon world right away! There's no New Year's in the demon world, but if the former great demon lord asks me to... We can't leave this out. Thus, the first "long-sleeved kimono" in the demon world was completed! It was very satisfying for Cornet.

New Years Mint

"Mint changed unto the "long-sleeved kimono" that Daisy gave her. I'm going to show everyone. However, the only students left at the magic school during winter break are Tulle and Cornet the supplementary training duo. I was a little disappointed, but the two of them complimented me on how cute I was so I'm feeling great! I'm going to eat a lot of mochi and do my best again this year!"

New Years Felt

"In Stishford, a place where trade is prosperous and a point of exchange between different cultures, furisode the folk costume of the eastern countries are all the rage! Furisode was also sent to Felt's room for a girl working hard in the city. I'm a little embarrassed, but I'm going to go out wearing this today!"

Fun fact about Lili and Lala out of all the characters listed here on the others list they were the only ones present in the initial release of the game. However, they weren't playable... they were only really present in the summoning screen of the gacha to get more witches before becoming playable at a late date. Other than that look at their little dance :D

I love it :')

But yeah that's kinda it for the characters released for this game I'll try assembling this game manga together. Just might be kinda difficult my younger self decided to not save like manga's together >_<

Reading about how bad the shipping wars used to be is wild, I used to just hang around the gamefaqs boards for RE back in the day and it was pretty chill in comparison lmao. It was mostly people making up theories for the next upcoming game and others ripping it apart line by line and acting smug despite the fact nobody had any concrete evidence of anything. Did people in other corners of the internet wild out whenever a blonde girl shown up in a trailer thinking it was Sherry? I remember [1/2]

[2/2] people thinking the picture Leon shown in the OG RE4 trailers (before there was anything saying he was rescuing the president's daughter) and the blonde girl in the RE5 trailers were Sherry. The gamefaqs boards were also super sexist, it was pretty much all just guys posting there, I let them assume I was one too for years. I think I only found livejournal around the time of RE5's release so I missed all the shipping wars, gamefaqs' just had polls of who the hottest RE female was every day

Yeah, forums have always been a thing -- and always been a male-dominated thing, but it's definitely a lost practice that I would really like to see make a comeback -- because, yeah, forums were where theorycrafting lived in survival horror fandom. The official Alan Wake forums were some of the most fun I had in survival horror fandom for that reason, and I poured hundreds of hours and wrote hundreds of thousands of words on The Evil Within's story back when the TEW fan forums were still up (was also a mod there too).

It's not really traditionally what people would think of in terms of fandom content, though. Fanfiction, fanart, RP, and cosplay weren't on forums. All of that shit was contained solely on LiveJournal (and, to a lesser extent, fanfiction.net & adultfanfiction.net for fics and deviantart for fanart and some cosplay but not much. that's where my cosplay was and still is tho LMAO but that was back when I was a size 3 and actually took care of myself because it was pre-mental breakdown RIP).

I very much remember the "every blonde girl is Sherry" days, so that definitely went beyond the GameFAQs forums. It hit such a fever pitch in the lead-up to RE5 that people were legitimately devastated to learn that it was Jill, regardless of how much the fandom fucking loved Jill.

Early RE fandom was very stupid.

Soooo, I've watched all of the Made in Abyss Anime that is out so far and while I like it there's certainly parts I'd like to forget or that could have been just left out. Nonetheless I had a great time watching most of it. I can still recommend it just remember to brace yourself. If I'd have to compare it with other media I'd say The Evil Within, Call of Cthulhu (the video game), Hollow Knight and Kirby (and maybe The Forest) and if you enjoyed these, you'll enjoy Made in Abyss.

And now my personal rant under the cut.

The reason why I'm so critical about Made in Abyss is because when I hyperfixate I'll get so into it that I ignore all the bad parts. But season 2 did not catch me like that.

It's still a really good series, the music is GREAT I really loved season 1 but season 2 kinda destroyed my excitement for the series up to the point where I'm already giving up on ever trying to cosplay from it (even though I really wanted to try Reg). I'll read into the manga, hope the weird parts aren't that bad then (sadly I heard the opposite) and let's see. I know you can enjoy media and still think of it critical and still cosplay from it even if it has it's moments (looking at YOU Tsubasa Chronicles) and I still really want to cosplay Reg because he's great for learning to craft but…idk how to feel about it…

I'll probably talk with my best friend about it and ask other people that know the series and how they think about it but honestly Season 2 really destroyed it.

It's not that season 2 is bad or anything, it's great but it had moments that left me with a weird feeling and I really didn't like some major characters in there but that's just my personal opinion. But it still had moments I really liked.

I don't get the hype about Faputa tho. She's okay but I don't like her personality that much. But again just my personal opinion.

3: the enemy within & arena are tied for me.. you ever get EVILLLLL kirk or kirk fighting a lizard by building a cannon out of.. bamboo.. and diamonds? or something

2: okay this is really stupid but rthzg there's this one called a piece of the action and it is.. so goofy i love it. so they're just hanging around when they get a transmission from a 100 year old ship. when they get down there bc of a guy called Boss Oxmyx is turns out that this is a 1920s GANGSTER PLANET, with ACCENTS and GUNS and MOBS and MOB BOSSES and MOB BOSS EYE CANDY HOT WOMEN and TOMMYGUNS and SUITS, and the reason it's like this is because a ship 100 years ago accidentally left a history book behind, and the inhabitants of the planet were amazing mimics, so they built an ENTIRE FUCKING SOCIETY off al capone <3 kirk and spock (and bones) just kinda hang around and get caught between the gang wars, because there are gang wars, and eventually kirk like. lies to them and hams up the federation as "da biggest bosses in da whole dang galaxy" so they can go home. kirk adopts the accent and the slang just for kicks. also he and spock dress up, and kirk tries to drive at one point and FAILS SO HARD while spock is just laughing at him but hiding it. also here they are in silly cosplay

honorable mentions: the changeling (kirk becomes dad to evil computer), the devil in the dark (lava beast ecology), amok time (spock goes horny & insane), space seed (KHAN), city on the edge of forever (should be no. 1 but is too sad), journey to babel (spock's parents), & spectre of the gun (they roleplay the shooting at the ok corral)

1: sorry but.. mirror mirror is about them getting science-words transported to an alternate universe where they're all EVIL and MEAN and it is so so fun. and and best of all it has lieutenant uhura (not the evil one the real one) pretending to be evil and threatening Evil Sulu with a knife and.. look at her 😳

tos is so good it was very hard to pick some lol :) this list changes every day

Let's All Scream at Tom Sandoval Together, Seattle

I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. For weeks I have fought off my urge to post about Vanderpump Rules on Slog.

"No one cares!" I told myself. "It has nothing to do with Seattle!"

But my willpower has run dry; my strength is depleted. The Seattle Kraken have been eliminated from the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and I miss yelling at my TV. I have no choice by to pour my energy into my next favorite competitive sport, reality television.

You're on the internet so I'm guessing you know something is happening in the Vanderpump Rulesworld, even if you don't watch or follow the show or stay up until 2 am reading fan theories on Reddit. It is fascinating. Truly. We're witnessing reality television history.

Here's the two-minute recap:

Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval, 40, and Ariana Madix, 37, have been together for nine years. They're not married—Madix doesn't want to get married—but they own a house together and, while Madix has maintained that she doesn't want children, she elected to freeze her eggs and this season she and Sandoval started the process of fertilizing those eggs should they want children in the future.

Raquel Leviss, 28, is best friends with Sandoval and Madix. She used to be engaged to James "Not About the Pasta" Kennedy, but she broke off their engagement last season. Leviss says both Sandoval and Madix have been incredibly supportive as she recovered from the breakup, even offering her a place to stay while she looked for a new apartment. Sandoval described her as "a little sister;" Madix confided in her about her insecurities and occasional relationship concerns. BFFs for real.

In March, goat cheese balls hit the fryer. Madix discovered an allegedly dirty FaceTime session between Leviss and Sandoval on Sandoval's phone. Madix immediately confronted Sandoval and Leviss and they both owned up to the affair, eventually admitting it had been going on for several months. When did the affair start? They say last summer. RIGHT AFTER MADIX'S 18-YEAR-OLD DOG CHARLOTTE DIED. Pure evil. RIP Charlotte.

While this all sounds like typical drama-fueled trash TV, it's actually a bit more interesting than that. Sandoval and Leviss hid this from everyone on the show,including producers, and this new season of Vanderpump Rules had already started airing when TMZ broke the news. The entire season they just filmed WAS A LIE. Since March, fans have gotten to watch a whole season play out knowing what the cast members did not know themselves, and it has made for some truly fascinating television.

Producers turned cameras back on within hours of finding out about the affair and we finally got to see that footage during Wednesday's season finale. It was so gratifying to see Madix lay into Sandoval for being a narcissistic liar—and to see his dick whistle get snapped in half. At the reunion, we'll get to see allthe Vanderpump Rules cast tell Sandoval and Leviss exactly what they think of them.

There are layers! All of their friendships and relationships were impacted by this affair, by these lies. There is a lot to unpack, untangle, and uncover, and producers are hinting that more bombs will be dropped during the reunion. Fans have theorized about everything from secret pregnancies to money laundering. But even if it just ends up being three hours of Andy Cohen forcing Sandoval and Leviss to face the consequences of their actions, that'll be satisfying to see, too.

So here's where we are now: In April, Leviss reportedly voluntarily entered a facility for "mental health and trauma therapy" and she hasn't been heard from since. Sandoval has been making bracelets for paparazzi and cosplaying as a round one American Idol reject with his cover band the Most Extras. Madix, meanwhile, has spent the last couple of months attending the White House Correspondents Dinner, snagging sponsorships with Bloomingdales and Uber, and receiving public support from Kristin Chenoweth, Aidy Bryant, and Kaley Cuoco.

This is the Super Bowl. This is the World Cup. This is the Olympics. This is something that can only be made better if we experience it together. For the next three Wednesdays Capitol Hill's Comedy/Bar will host Vanderpump Rules reunion watch parties, complete VPR bingo cards, and lots of rosé, pinot, and *James Kennedy voice* PUMPTINIS! Let us unite to witness this historic moment in pop culture together, and collectively scream at the worm with a mustache together.
