#the extraordinary ordinary
i just think that love is so wonderful. i think being in love is fantastic. i think that smiling because of someone, finding someone to be quiet next to, having someone to make the world brighter, it’s all the things that make life worth living. i’m not just talking about romantic love either, i think being in love with your friends, being in love with the world, having a family, it’s just really the point of it all

The award-winning indie drama “The Extraordinary Ordinary” has a very much relatable story based around mental health issues, particularly post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the path to recovery.
The whole world is a series of miracles, but we're so used to them we call them ordinary things.

Thank you...for enduring the pain. And..for helping me.
I would like to continue to do so by your side. That is, only if you will allow it, Your Royal Highness.

Seto Kaiba talks with his daughter, Farida, on a nighttime walk by the ocean. Neither one of them sleeps very well.
Tangential trustshipping - Farida is Seto and Ishizu’s daughter, my idea of what she’d be like!

Just watched We Can Be Heroes, and it really got me thinking about how blessed we were to have the plethora of kind of random off-brand kid superhero content we got growing up, like Sharkboy and Lavagirl, Sky High, The incredibles etc. I like how the desire to know more about these characters, and subsequent lack of fulfillment of said desire, really primed us to appreciate the hell out of all that the Marvel and DC cinematic/tv universes are giving us as adults AND apart from that, just how good they were as standalone movies. I say this with my rose colored nostalgia glasses on of course, they’re not all cinematic masterpieces or anything, but they all had heart, y’know. And even though We Can Be Heroes only gave us kernels of Sharkboy and Lavagirl lore, I took comfort in knowing the movie really wasn’t for all of us who were like 7 when the first movie came out, but for the kids of today. Overall it’s just nice knowing that the age of bizarre kid superheroes being a gateway drug into this beautiful nerdy mess isn’t over, and I thoroughly enjoyed this wholesome superhero movie.

I have not had second lead syndrome with a K drama until this show. Extraordinary You had me loving Ha Ru but as the show progressed I felt so bad for Baek Kyung 😢, for him Eun Dan O was the only one who truly knew him in the stage and in the shadow
When this scene of a perfect day between them was shown, my heart hurt for Kyung 😭. It must have been so bittersweet for him, to get to be happy with Dan O but know this wasn’t the real her he’d gotten to know in the shadow

Hey anyone else ever watch a show or play a game that's exciting or fun and then you finish it and then you feel like nothing you have ever done is in any way fulfilling, fun, or exciting. Like you've just wasted your life and will only ever be ordinary. So yeah, anyone have any game recommendations for me?

It’s very important to me that the resolution always actually comes outside the super part of the story. It’s always by them as themselves fixing a mistake or filling a need or being kind and doing what they can for someone. Everyday acts of real heroism.
