OUR LITTLE SECRET ୨୧ CARL GRIMES
Tumblr media
𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆, carl grimes x f!reader
𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒, fluff, angsty backstory, made her the governors daughter, slight mention of death, cute makeout, getting caught, but not much more.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓, i see carl in your tags 👀 can i pls pls have something with him dating glenn and maggie’s adoptive daughter who are super protective of her so her and carl kinda have to sneak around and keep the relationship on the dl ?? much love <33
𝐀/𝐍, thank you for the request sm! i hope i did this justice and you like it as much as i do. i made it longer than i expected and it’s a little messy but oh well :)
You were the Governor’s daughter, a fact that you didn’t like to promote around. Before all this, you lived a happy life before the Apocalypse but early on, your mother died, and then your sister, Penny along with her.
You saw your father change but you were too afraid to say anything.
You tried to ignore it. Even when Andrea came, you wanted to warn her but again, you ignored your father and his antics of leadership in the town.
But, when he took hostages from the prison and wanted you to talk to them, and get information, you couldn’t ignore it anymore.
You were only a little girl at the time which caused Glenn confused when you walked in. He expected the Governor or one of his men, not you.
You stayed with him for a few hours, attempting to clean him up until thankfully, his people came for him and his girlfriend to get them out.
Rick wanted to make sure you kept quiet but Glenn instantly said no, sticking up for you saying that you weren't hurt a fly. He clasped your hand and told you that you'd be safe now. He brought you to the prison, making himself promise that he’d keep you safe. Maggie too.
The Governor tried to get you back at the fall of the prison but Glenn and Maggie didn’t let that happen. You were their daughter now and that went without questions.
After Terminus, you couldn’t help but get closer to the boy who was around your age, Carl. You both were never really close, being the governors daughter and all but as you guys walked through those long roads that never seemed to end, you started to realize that maybe he wasn’t all so bad.
No matter how exhausted you were, Carl made you laugh from the stories he’d tell you which made Glenn to look behind him, time from time, wondering what was so funny.
When at the church and Gareth made a comeback, you sat in the room with him, Gabriel, and Judith. You were shaking and so scared while you could hear Gareth’s taunting voice just outside the room with his other men. Carl noticed, setting down Judith before coming to your side, touching your hand as he whispered to you. “Breathe. It’s gonna be okay, I promise.”
Despite the situation, you couldn’t help the butterflies that erupted in your stomach.
As you reached Alexandria, it was a totally different story. You guys hung out all the time, mostly at his house because you knew how protective Glenn and Maggie are. Especially with this stuff.
One night, you guys were in his room, sitting side by side reading comics. You needed a break and decided to sit there, watching Carl read. He must’ve felt your eyes when he looked over to you and that’s when you both realized how close you two were.
As you looked into each others eyes, you couldn’t help but glance at his lips. You caught him doing the same. He was the first to lean in and after all the mutual pining for weeks, you guys finally kissed.
Afterward, you totally agreed that you shouldn’t tell your parents. Or his.
So, it’s been a few weeks now and you guys are still keeping your relationship a secret around Alexandria.
You were currently walking towards Olivia’s house, having to ask her a question about the food stock but as you walked, you felt a hand slip into your hand and yank you over to a private area, pressing you against the wall. Feeling slight dizziness, you looked up and saw Carl standing in front of you with a smile on his lips.
You smiled and hit his shoulder playfully, “Hey! I thought you were a kidnapper!” He laughed and didn’t say anything as he leaned in and placed his lips on yours. You smiled into it before kissing him back but once you realized you were kissing right now, you pushed him back a little, breaking the kiss. “What are you doing? You know the rules.”
“Rules?”
“Yes! No kissing in public, anyone could see and tell my parents. Or worse, they could see.” You told him, your voice a bit strict. “That’s why I pulled you here,” Carl said, motioning around us. You looked around and you were on the side of one of the houses. There was no one around in sight either way. You sighed and looked back up at Carl who had a building smirk on his lips.
“Whatever. Just kiss me.”
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆
You were in the middle of having dinner with your parents at the dinner table. You haven’t eaten much and were pretty much playing with your food while Maggie talked about Deanna and her job here.
To be honest, you weren’t in the best mood because you hadn’t seen Carl all day. He left over the Alexandria walls and went on a run leaving you alone having no choice but to do your chores.
Maggie stops her talking, looking at her husband silently gesturing to you. Glenn looked over and saw that you had your head down and played with the peas on your plate. “Hey.”
You looked up at your dad, “Huh?”
“You okay?” He asked. You sighed under your breath. It wasn’t like you could tell them that you missed your boyfriend because he was gone all day. So, you nodded and gave them a small smile, “Yeah. Just not a big fan of peas.”
Maggie snickered and after that, they started to talk more about Alexandria.
You tried to listen but all of a sudden, you heard stomps from upstairs before a loud yelp. You furrowed your eyebrows at the sound. Can’t be a Walker because they don’t yell when they fall.
Glenn looked at Maggie before at you. He was about to get up and take the knife out of his waistband but you stopped him. “No. I’ll go. It’s my room.”
You got up from the dinner table quickly before they could ask questions and rushed over to the stairs. “Y/n?” Maggie called out but got no answer as you started to go upstairs.
You gripped onto your knife that was left in your own waistband as you opened the doorknob but instead of what you thought, it was Carl. You sighed in relief and let out a breathless laugh. “Omg, you scared me.” You walked over to Carl who now moved to sit on the bed, “What are you doing here? I thought you were still on your run.”
“Came back early. I had to see you.” He said, making your cheeks blush red.
You moved to sit on his lap, cupping the side of his face, and kissed him. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too,” He whispered before kissing you again, his hand caressed your cheek before moving to lay on your waist.
The kisses got a bit heated and Carl moved you off his lap and laid you against the bed pillows before kissing you once again. You usually wouldn’t let this happen while your parents are downstairs right now but you had missed him so much today that you didn’t stop him.
Being lost in the moment, you didn’t hear the footsteps until a voice spoke up, “Y/N!” You broke the kiss and looked out from under Carl to see both of your parents standing by your bedroom door… that you forgot to close. The shock mixed with irritation on their faces.
You smiled sheepishly, “Surprise?”

Peace | Coriolanus Snow
Pairing: Coriolanus Snow x reader (fem!District12!Baird!reader)
Summary: Coriolanus Snow never thought that he would find peace, until he did.
Warning/s: Snow being in love, Snow being Snow, talk about death (reader is alive, don't worry), possible grammar and spelling mistakes
Author's note: Inspired by one and only Taylor Swift.
Tumblr media
Our coming-of-age has come and gone
Suddenly the summer, it's clear
I never had the courage of my convictions
As long as danger is near
And it's just around the corner, darling
'Cause it lives in me
No, I could never give you peace
Coriolanus Snow could swear that the rustling of the grass beneath his shoes couldn't be louder as he walked in the Meadow.
However, even though he felt an odd irritation towards that, he felt good. He was finally able to get rid of his Peacekeeper white uniform which he replaced with a simple white shirt and some gray pants that he found. His dog tag was still hanging from around his neck. He forgot to take it off from all of the haste when he was trying to find you as fast as he possibly could once his shift ended for the day.
The wind was dancing gracefully across the leaves on the trees surrounding the always oh so peaceful Meadow just a little outside of the border of District 12.
District 12.
Coriolanus Snow was still a little bit doubtful when it came to the loser District.
He could remember his hated towards, well, everyone and everything when he found out that he was going to be deported for the Peacekeepers. He could still remember that empty feeling when he sat at, what seemed like, the most uncomfortable chair in the world as someone started to cut his blonde locks away.
He lost everything. Every hope for the better.
That is up until it was reported to him that he could chose any District in all of the Panem that he wished.
Coriolanus could've been deported to a nice, clean District like 1 or 2. Yet he chose the poorest District of all. The words "District 12" left his mouth without the second thought when the authorities asked him where he wanted to be deported. He didn't even speare one single thought as he said it.
He asked himself, why did he do it? The question wouldn't leave his mind. It haunted him every day. It clouded his ever racing mind.
Why did he do it?
Yet now, he finally spotted a figure sitting on a giant rock, playing the guitar while muttering the words as she tried to write yet another masterpiece that he was going to cherish forever.
Your hair was flowing around in the wind as your fingers graced the strings of your guitar that Coriolanus got for you from the Capitol.
He tried to stay as quiet as he possibly could. He didn't want this moment to end. He didn't want you to stop singing so he froze once he got close enough so he could listen to you for a bit.
Even the mockingjays on the trees seemed to quiet down as you played the guitar. They were soaking up every melody, every note that you decided to grace the word with.
"And it's just around the corner, darling
'Cause it lives in me"
Your melodic voice rang around the Meadow. So quiet yet so powerful. Graced with softness and pure care. He didn't deserve you. He knew that.
Suddenly nothing mattered anymore. The only thing that truly mattered was the fact that you were alive.
Every doubt he had racing, cursing, his mind vanished forevermore as he listened to you sing and play your guitar, when he saw you performing with the rest of the Covey, your family, the night after he got deported to 12.
Right now, nothing was more important to him than you. He didn't care about his deportation, about Dr. Gaul, about Highbottom.
Maybe he was clueless. Maybe it was his fault for letting himself feel vulnerable in this very moment in the Meadow outside of 12. Or maybe he was just young and dumb for finally letting his guard down... but he felt like there was hope for him at last. Because you were here. You were alive, and if he had to mess up his reputation and lose everything once more just so he could here the sweetest of melodies leaving your lips he was sure that he would do it.
"No, I could never give you peace"
But I'm a fire, and I'll keep your brittle heart warm
If your cascade ocean wave blues come
All these people think love's for show
But I would die for you in secret
The devil's in the details, but you got a friend in me
Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?
Coriolanus felt himself freeze completely.
His brain nor his body was working anymore as he watched the screen along with the rest of his classmates that were chosen to be mentors for this year's tributes in the Hunger Games.
The scene was tough to watch. He wanted to look away yet he found himself unable to do so.
No matter how hard he tried he couldn't rip his eyes away from the screen that showed reaping the tribute he was supposed to mentor.
A girl from District 12.
He felt uneasy the moment he found out who he was supposed to be mentoring, he felt like his hope was lost. His hope for winning the Plinth Prize and repearing his reputation was ruined. He was ruined.
But now, as he watched you step in after your name was called out, he felt unfamiliar feeling of pure warmth growing and spreading in his chest, consuming him completely. The feeling was unknown, it made him feel weak. Out of control. He hated it.
Yet, as Coriolanus watched your hair bounce as you stepped out of the crowd in the middle of the square, he felt like he would fight the devil himself just so he could make sure that you were safe, that you were going to get out of the arena alive.
He watched your expression and your posture. You were trying to appear as calm and unbothered as possible. You were successful in your attempt, but he saw right through it.
Perhaps it was because he found himself in the similar position as he watched you or perhaps he simply observed a bit too closely.
Whatever it was, it did not prepare Coriolanus Snow for what was about to happen.
°
Why am I here? What am I doing?
These are the questions Coriolanus asked himself as he unintentionally, yet at the same time quite intentionally, tried to seek some warmth from his red Academy's uniform in his pathetic attempts to warm himself up a bit in the middle of a very cold night on his way over to the zoo where you were forced to stay before the games started.
The food wrapped in a handkerchief that had his father's initials on it started to feel too heavy in the pocket of his uniform.
Feeling the cold shiver run down his spine he realized that it's not from cold or from the fear of the Peacekeepers blocking his way over to you in the middle of the night. No. It was something else. Something he was aware of, but couldn't yet admit it to himself.
He watched every step he took so as to not startle you in the cage of the zoo.
As he got closer, he realized that he saw a figure in the dark leaned against the bars of the zoo's cage.
It was you, of course. You were looking up at the sky as your hair slightly flew around in the light, cold night's breeze.
At first he thought that his plan to play star-crossed lovers was a dumb call. That it was bad. Mentor falling desperately, hopelessly in love with his tribute was just madness and quite a desperate attempt to draw some good public's attention to give you a shot at surviving in the arena was quite pitiful, truly. Where was his head at, at that moment? Who would ever fall for that nonsense?
But as he saw how the people thrived for a tragic pair of star-crossed lovers and as he realized that good citizens of the Capitol loved a good tragic story, he came to a conclusion that maybe all of this was actually worth it.
More importantly, as he called out your name quietly as to not startle you and alert other tributes he figured that it was a right call after all.
Especially when, even tho a part of him didn't want to, as he came over to you on the other side of the bars, gave you food that he smuggled from the Academy, wiped your long lost tear as it streamed down your beautiful cheek, as he soked in your beauty, admired your gentil kindness and finally as he kissed you like he needs you more than an oxygen that he has to breath over the empty space in the middle of the bars, he wasn't really pretending after all.
Yet when it was time for him to go home just so his absence doesn't go noticed by grandma'am and Tigris, he asked you one thing that was bothering him, eating him alive. One thing that caused him absolute despair from the moment he met you.
"Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?" He whispered in the darkness as he held his hand against your cheek like you were the most delicate rose.
Your integrity makes me seem small
You paint dreamscapes on the wall
I talk shit with my friends
It's like I'm wasting your honor
Coriolanus Snow was hurrying towars the room in the Capitol's Academy in which he will be able to monitor the games along with some of his classmates.
He had to stay at home to help his grandma'am much longer than the would've liked. He was in such a hurry that once he got to the door he literally pushed it open with full force.
He strolled down effortlessly over to his chair so he could look over you as he heard the voice of one and only Lucky Flickerman.
"Now that is an entrance I'm jealous of."
Coriolanus ignored him.
He sat down next to Sejanus Plinth as he reasted his head on his hand as soon as he did that, the look of pure stress overflow his features as his piercing blue eyes locked themselves on the screen watching you.
"I may be wrong." He heard the voice of Sejanus Plinth as he stared at the screen, not looking away. "But it seems to me that you actually, genuinely care about whether or not she makes it out alive."
Coriolanus felt himself freeze for a moment, but he quickly forced himself to gain his composure back.
"I don't-"
"Don't lie to me, Coryo."
He kept his mouth shut after that.
And you know that I'd swing with you for the fences
Sit with you in the trenches
Give you my wild, give you a child
Give you the silence that only comes when two people understand each other
Family that I chose, now that I see your brother as my brother
Is it enough?
Coriolanus Snow could still remember the feeling of slight cold breeze as he hoped off of the train in 12 for the first time ever.
His boots stepped right into mud and he closed his eyes for a moment in slight annoyance. What an amazing way to alive here and do the things he was ordered to do.
He gripped more tightly just in hope to gain more confidence that he could actually pull through with this.
He stepped forward, letting out a puf of breath to steady himself.
Just as he was about to step after the rest of the new recruits as the one who is last in line he heard something that he hoped he would hear again. A voice which belonged to the person for whom he decided to go to the poorest District, paying the last bit of money he owned.
"Coryo!" Your voice shouted and he turned around slowly, almost not believing that you're here.
You ran as fast as you could just to get to him as fast as possible.
Your hair was flying around as your ran, the back of your dress dragging itself after you. The lightness of your steps, the graceful way you carried yourself, your eyes, your lips, you.
You collided against him, throwing your hands around his neck as you gripped on his shoulders as tightly as you possibly could, afraid that he will disappear from your grasp once again.
You looked so out of place. You were like a finest, most beautiful rose of all, but that rose grew in the middle of the mud. It fascinated him.
He wrapped his arms around you instantly, gripping your body strongly yet at the same time gently as he brought you to his body even closer. You felt like if he pulled you any closer the two of you would become one person.
He hid his face into your neck, breathing in your flowery scent. It smelled like home. Home which he was forcefully ripped away from, but now he was finally able to return.
"How did you-? What-?" He stuttered, couldn't get the words out.
"Tigris told me you were about to become a Peacekeeper." You got out, still holding onto his arm, your gripp still tight, afraid of losing him again. "However, Sejanus told me that you would arrive to 12."
This took him a back a little.
"You spoke with Tigris?" He asked, his voice not hiding his utter, but non the less happy, shock.
"We wrote to each other." You answered with a smile. "She's amazing, truly."
He couldn't be happier at this moment, he was so happy that it scared him.
But maybe, as he watched your smile and took your hand into his, pressing your palms against each other, he realized that just maybe life in the poorest District won't be as bad as he was afraid.
But there's robbers to the east, clowns to the west
I'd give you my sunshine, give you my best
But the rain is always gonna come if you're standing with me
One thing was for sure, life after the games was not easy.
You would have nightmares. He didn't know about them, you wouldn't told him. That is up until the rest of your family met up with him on a picnic day.
You looked so tired, so pale, you weren't acting like your usual self. It scared him.
That's when Lucy Gray pulled him aside after she saw his worried gaze on you the entire day. What she told him ripped his heart and shattered every piece.
"She's screaming at night." Lucy Gray whispered just so you wouldn't catch them, not that you could, you were so tired you were barely awake. "She has nightmares about the arena."
When he later on confronted you about your nightmares just so he could help you somehow you broke down.
You told him that maybe it wasn't the best idea for him to be with her. You were sad a lot more often, the screaming because of nightmares and everything else haunted you.
Before you could say anything else, tho. He kissed you like he would die without you.
"You're safe with me." He mumbled against your lips. "We can have a future here together, that is if you will have me."
"Of course I will Coryo, but-"
"No but's, then, my love." He told you, taking the handkerchief out of nowhere as he wiped away your tears that continued to stream down your face.
"Here, away from every harm, away from the games... maybe I could finally give you peace."
Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?
Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?

omg i can only imagine the fucking mess it would make if he just cums in you all fucking night. it would be so noisy and wet and it would just make him wanna cum inside even more. he’d be grunting for you to take it all and calling you a good girl for keeping as much as you can inside you 😵‍💫
THIS IS SO FUCKING HOT JESUS CHRIST 🥵😩
eddie fucking loves railing the shit out of you. he loves how good you feel, he loves every sound you make, he loves the way you moan & even scream his name, and he especially loves the wet, filthy sounds it makes as he fucks the hell out of you. it’s all so delicious—hard and fast pace, his balls slapping your ass, his cock twitching & absolutely rock hard inside of you, your pussy squeezing his leaking dick as he groans in response. he’s gonna cum hard, filling you to the brim with his mess. the fucker will probably take a polaroid snap of the creampie he makes, or at least admire it and say the dirtiest shit.
for instance: “look at that. your pretty pussy swallowed up every drop i gave her. i want you to keep taking it, y/n; i want you to beg me for more until i’m merciful and decide to give it.”
he just admires the absolute mess that he’s made. his cum, draining out of you and staining the sheets below, forming a wet spot under your ass. there’s so goddamn much of it, even after most of it stayed inside of you. and then he’s pushing himself into your drenched, leaking cunt again, because his dick is still throbbing hard. he hears the wet, vulgar sound that it makes, shoving his cum & some of your own back inside of you, and he fucking loves it. he’s going to do it over and over, every time he gets a boner, all night long. he’s going to make you beg for him to shoot off inside, just like he said he would. he’s also going to eat you out to get himself fully erect again; he doesn’t care if his cum is leaking out of you. in fact, I think he would find that hot as fuck, and would definitely get aroused again in no time just seeing it.
then he’s inside of you yet again, this time in missionary. he’s looking down at you as he moans, the dirty sounds of slapping skin and sex echoing in the room once more. he’s gonna grunt as he gets closer, his forehead pressed to yours as he starts to chuckle. before you can ask what’s so amusing, he’s answering your question.
“you’re such a good girl, y/n; your perfect little pussy is holding so much of me. every load i’ve blown inside of you tonight, you’re keeping so much of it.”
“eddie,” you moan, clawing at his back as he fucks roughly into your sweet spot. you lift your hips to meet his rhythm, wanting him to hit it at a better angle. “i want another one. please…wanna feel more of your cum dripping out of me. i need it so fucking badly, please.”
“so filthy,” he murmurs, his lashes fluttering as you feel him pulsating against your slick, hot walls. “you’re my fucking dream girl, you know that?”
and it’s funny, because you could say that he was your dream guy. a man who can fuck you like an adult film star, who puts your pleasure above his own, who makes you cum again & again, who has a tongue made of magic and a dick that’s mostly found in fantasy, and who has the stamina of a god? christ, this must be what heaven was like.

TAKING WHAT’S NOT YOURS
(I watch her go with a surge of that well known sadness and I have to sit down for a while– the feeling that I'm losing her forever.)
Tumblr media
The rundown: That cake scene with Miles at his father’s bodega party but it’s with Miguel and his universe’s daughter. He’s late and it’s your quinceañera. Content: Father!Miguel O'hara x Daughter!Reader / Angst! (wc: 3844)
Tumblr media
There was something oddly peculiar about your father. People would assume that he would be the archetypal absent one who chose to abandon his child; the dead-beat-dad who ultimately never cared for them. You’d argue it wasn’t true– you were fed, you had the weight of what a fifteen year old should have, and education was proper.
You love your papa with all of your heart, but there was no denying the fact that he would never be around often enough. You understood this when you were eight years old, and mornings would bring only a cold breakfast accompanied by a hastily scribbled note from him. He’d leave early– far too early. You tried staying up in an attempt to tell when he gets up and leaves the house, but you swear you don’t hear the door open every time.
Then came twelve and the missed events. Miguel seemed to be missing in action when it came to certain school activities, not showing up for things that he had previously made commitments for. It became more and more frequent as you grew older– you wouldn’t hear from him for days.
He was a man dedicated to his profession, and although you felt pride in what he had achieved, there was this empty space in your heart that hadn’t been filled ever since you were eight. It was said that a child needed the presence of their parents to feel security– to feel important. You never truly understood it, not until you had to endure many nights at dinner alone and the numerous times you spent walking home with nothing but your own thoughts for company.
You had always pondered over the question of whether it was a common phenomenon that fathers seemed to love their daughters less once they had reached teenagehood– or if it was possible for fathers to unlearn being fathers.
“Is your papa coming, bebita?”
The faint notes of classical music filled the air as you sat on the wooden floor, stretching your sore limbs. You observed the ladies who were much older than yourself starting their exercise routines, having come in early before the group class began. You waited for Miguel to pick you up.
– But that had been two hours ago. Your teacher finally worked up the courage to approach you, hesitantly looking for the right words to say. She wasn’t exactly pleased to be the one to let you down, but she’d seen you walk out the studio’s door alone time and time again after you told her that your father would bring you home himself.
“He said he’d come pick me up today.” You spoke, nervously twisting the ends of your skirt. Your teacher had most likely heard these words countless times before from you, but the faint ray of hope in your voice remained firm. “He promised.” You added quietly, praying that maybe it would be different this time.
“Ay, bebita– you know how this ends. You tell me those exact words and you walk out here on your own anyway.” She slightly shook her head, her face softening with a sympathetic smile as she knelt closer to you. “Tell you what, how about I offer to give you a ride home today? I have plenty of snacks in my car that you can enjoy. You can take as many of them as you'd like.”
You took some time to consider it, letting her gently weave her fingers through the strands of curls that couldn't quite fit into a bun. Your lips pursued as you sighed softly, “What if he comes and I’m not here anymore?” You’d hate to miss the opportunity.
Of course you still had faith that he would come, having endured all the other times he had let you down. You were never one to quickly give up on people and your father was the only one you trusted the most— you’d hate to admit that his inconsistency was starting to hurt; digging a deeper wound to the already bleeding cut.
“He’s not coming and I know you know that too.”
She stands up, grunting slightly as she hefts herself up. You knew there was no more room for negotiation anymore when she urged you to come along. She carefully takes your backpack from off your back and drapes it over her own shoulders, “Come on sweetheart, let's get you home.”
The silence in the car was palpable, with no one feeling the need to prod conversation. You hadn't stopped fidgeting with the hem of your bag since you got in, and you could feel your teacher's worried glances burning into you. Your mind was a jumble of emotions that kept bubbling away as they all competed for your attention. What could be his reason this time/?
She switched on the radio in an effort to lighten the tense mood, but when a melancholic tune filled played instead, you couldn’t help but let out a deep sigh.
“Is it possible for fathers to unlove their daughters?”
It was a question that took her completely by surprise, so much so that another uncomfortable beat of silence passed before she could respond. The stillness made you regret asking in the first place. Your legs shifted nervously, an unconscious habit which you had never noticed before.
“Of course not,” She muttered, almost inaudibly. “Fathers tend to forget is all.”
But you knew that wasn’t the case.
While Miguel was never home, something else resided on the corners of your house– someone you have never met at all. She smiled back at you from the frame sitting atop your dad's nightstand, wearing the similar blue soccer jersey your school had. She was the picture on his wallet and the little widget on his phone. It was beyond you– the few blue ribbons hidden on the box beneath his bed; the medals, the drawings you know you’ve never drawn or given him. For all you know, the kid didn’t even go to your school.
It wasn’t anything sinister, but in a way she felt like a ghost. A child your father mourned for all his life and you had no idea why.
This was a physical pain in your chest; one that was peeling away the very layers of your heart until it was nothing but ugly– just how could Miguel love a child more than his own? It was ridiculous to feel like you were in competition with someone you barely knew, yet somehow, you felt like you were losing. It felt even more absurd when you considered the possibility that maybe you weren't really his child at all.
“I joined our school’s soccer team today, papa.”
It wasn’t an ordinary occurrence for Miguel to be at the dining table for lunch. But on this Saturday noon, he was there. Sitting across from you, quietly eating his food. Finally, he paused and shifted his gaze towards you, seeming to linger on you longer than normal before looking away, cracking a grin.
“Soccer? You hate sports, mija.” He says, a bit of laughter in his voice. "What made you decide to try out? I don't recall you being the least bit interested before."
Something in his eyes becomes brighter, a sense of familiarity as he eagerly awaits your response– and the thing is, you couldn’t tell him why. Not without addressing the elephant in the room. Maybe you’d hang my medals too? Maybe you’d frame a photo of me? You know well your question reminds him of someone else.
“No reason.”
It was no surprise that you were terrible at it. After barely two seasons, you'd already given up. However it was surprising to see Miguel in the stands during the times that you had a game, but there wasn’t much to watch anyway— not when you’d been relegated to the bench for most of the time. All you felt was shame.
Oddly enough, he didn't question it. He remained silent during the rides back home, his gaze distant and never once looked at you. Had you embarrassed him to an extent where he couldn’t even acknowledge you? Or have you given him the impression that you were just no better than the little girl in his pictures?
You dared not to talk about it too.
Music was your passion; the pulse, the poise and elegance of it all resonating with you deeply. Ballet was something that spoke to you particularly in ways no other art form could. You found a special joy out on stage, a feeling that grew deeper and greater each time you danced.
But like every flame that you desperately try to keep alive, Miguel had a way of snuffing it out.
You remember it all so vividly, even though you'd much rather the memory be nothing more than a faint blur. Your very first recital and yet he wasn't anywhere to be found amongst the audience.
Your focus was a tunnel-vision, only set to finding even a glimpse of him— you had been so determined to find him that you forgot about all of your own movements. Soon, the few wrong turns had turned to missed cues; as soon as the music stopped, you made a run for it.
Your teacher had done her best to console you that day, attempting to coax a smile from you in front of the vanity mirror with its bright lights. She had wrapped her arms around you, doing anything she could to draw even the faintest curve of your lips. But you stayed slumped on your seat, feeling the weight of the unshed tears on your eyes.
The door swung open, finally revealing Miguel; he was out of breath and sweat glistened on his forehead. His shirt was unbuttoned at the top and his tie was undone, a clear sign that he had run all the way here. He paused for a moment to catch his breath before walking in frantically, eyes looking for you.
His eyes softened at the sight of you in your pretty pink tutu– then the tenderness was replaced with a feeling akin to plummeting one hundred stories down. How could he miss this? How could he let his sweet girl wait? He rushed to your side, sinking down into a kneeling position. He looked upon you with lines creasing his forehead and you already knew what was to come out of his lips.
“I’m sorry muneca, I came as fast as I could.”
The other parents of your classmates started to barge inside the very room, their children giddy with joy and excitement, running to them with beaming smiles. You could hear their loud congratulations– voices singing sweet praises and telling how they looked outstanding on stage. The noise sounded like static in your ears, like their words were unfamiliar to you. They received bouquets of flowers, sweets– gifts for a job well done. Miguel came late and only with apologies.
“You want pretty flowers too, mijita? We can stop by the flower shop a few blocks away from here, you can pick any bouquet you want.” His lips curved into a gentle smile, desperate to make his daughter feel better– the same daughter who wouldn't even meet his gaze. “Papa had to deal with something. I’ll be sure to go to your next recital– pinky promise.”
“But I worked really hard for this.”
You wanted so desperately to blame him; to yell at him for every mistake that you've made on the stage. You felt ashamed, humiliated, and helpless all at once- and still, you couldn’t have the heart to be mad at him.
He looked at you apologetically, "Baby, I'm sorry I couldn't make it earlier. How about we talk about the flowers you want to buy instead? There are lots of restaurants nearby as well— you can pick whatever pleases you, just name it." He paused for a moment before continuing, gently nudging your shoulder. “I know how much this meant to you.”
If he did, why couldn’t he have come at all?
You let out a deep sigh, feeling completely ridiculous in your tutu. All of the sudden, the leotard appeared to be two sizes too small and utterly irritating; your tights seemed unbearably itchy. You looked down helplessly, wanting nothing more than to leave this situation behind. “I just want to go home. Can we just leave? Please?” You pleaded softly.
He bit the inside of his cheek, a gesture that conveyed own sinking heart in a way words could not. His shoulders sagged ever so slightly, breath hitching as he gave in to your request instead.
“Of course.”
After that very moment, you'd vowed to yourself never to wait in anticipation of something that may or may not come. You wouldn’t put your faith in any more of your father's promises spoken under the dead of night. It took a toll on you– your naivety had taught you better than before.
But when your fifteenth birthday drew near, you never expected he would go so far.
The locks clicked and whirred as Miguel fumbled with the keys to the front door. You could hear your Father's voice, clearly agitated as he jostled the keys back and forth in an attempt to fit them into the lock. Finally, he steps inside, eyes immediately darting to you.
“You’re not wearing your birthday dress, sweetie. Is something wrong?” He’s wearing a smile, struggling to keep the two boxes of cake upright as he locks the door from behind. The banner is lopsided and the balloons scattered all around seem small– like they’ve been there for days and were starting to deflate themselves. He kisses the top of your head once he gets close, getting a better view of what you were working on on the counter. Homework. “Did you have your friends over today? How was it? Wanna hear all about it.”
And he must have forgotten. You decided to pretend not to hear his question, continuing to jot down notes, only humming at his presence. He settles the boxes down, sitting on the stool beside you.
“I know papa’s late, but you can still go and wear your dress. I want to take pictures– should we order pizza? Do you want something else?” He’s rambling, hurriedly searching for his tone to dial down a few numbers. Miguel turns frantic, looking at the closed signs under every nice restaurant. “Pizza should be fine, mijita– you’ve eaten dinner, right?”
“Not hungry.”
Miguel chuckled, dialing anyway. “Did school suck today, sweetie?” He jokes, trying to lighten the mood. “You know what can cheer you up? Cake. You love cake.”
“I don’t like cake anymore.” You say, your voice barely above a whisper. You can feel frustration boiling over inside– and you fear it wasn’t the kind you’ve grown accustomed to suppressing. He was oblivious and it was killing you, hurting you in so many ways possible. “I’m not hungry.” You repeat again.
“Don’t be like that, __. Besides, it’s still tradition.” He stands up to check the drawers, only finding worn out candles from past birthdays. He takes a lighter. “Know what’s better than a cake? Two cakes! You’ll change your mind, go and open the boxes mija,”
Miguel excitedly pressed his hands on your shoulders, pushing you gently forward to open the two boxes of cake. The look in his eyes was that of pure anticipation as he waited eagerly for you to do so. It almost hurt you to tell him the news— that you wanted more than to just take the blame itself. It was conflicting.
You finally got up from the bar stool, settling on your feet in front of the counter. Taking a deep breath, you carefully opened the lid of the boxes. What greeted you had made you visibly recoil– the small flicker of hope that settled in your chest gone as quickly as it came. The cakes were crumbled and the frosting was all over the box, like it had been trampled and tossed around.
Was this all a joke? Were you a joke to him? Your shoulders trembled as you couldn't bring yourself to look away from it; the letter was still visible but amongst the cake crumbs lay written a name– Gabriella. Not happy birthday to you, but Gabi.
You didn’t know what hurt most. Your lips quivered and all you could mutter was, “Gabi?”
His eyes widened in surprise as he quickly moved to your side to take a look at the cake himself. He swiftly closed the lids, shaking his head. “Must’ve been a mistake back at the bakery. I can–”
And you could barely catch your breath, not when the hurt piled over one another.
“Are the medals from her? The one’s from your bed? The trophies?”
He furrowed his eyebrows, clearly irritated. “What did I tell you about snooping around my things, __?”
“Is this the girl–” A ragged inhale cuts your thoughts, “on your nightstand and wallet?” You didn’t even realize you had started to cry, but when another breath had caught itself in your throat, you were inconsolable– finally letting the dam break all at once.
Miguel did nothing to console you– he didn’t know how to. He knew he had messed up royally and all he could do was helplessly watch you break down. Who knows how long you’ve kept this?
“__, come on. It’s just a simple mistake, it’s still cake–”
“And it was my birthday!”
“Baby, what’s the big deal?” He was shocked and understandably so. His sweet, babygirl, who was usually so quiet and docile, was talking back angrily to him– but Miguel knew better than to point fingers. This was his fault– your unbecoming was his own doing.
“You just had to be late– on my birthday!”
“I have work, baby, you know this.”
“That still doesn’t explain anything!” You cried out, desperation flooding your voice. “Why are you never home? Where do you go? Who is Gabriella– why do you love her more than me?” You could feel your breath catch in your throat as your voice rose and trembled with every question. Your breathing grew unsteady and your throat began to close up, not allowing anymore words to come out as much as you wanted to scream. You feared there’d be no more room for air.
And there was something about Gabriella that everytime she was brought up, Miguel would be defensive. Perhaps it was the plenty of times Lyla would reprimand him when she catches him watching the few videos of them or when Jess would pity his state. “Don’t be ridiculous, __. I made a mistake– that’s it. We don’t have to fight.” He says, grabbing a spatula. “If it bothers you so much, here,”
Miguel frustratedly spreads the lettering with the spatula, leaving smudges of red on top of perfectly white frosting, resulting in a more muddled mess. He's making a complete mess of it and you can't bear to watch any longer. Your still figure finally reaches out to grab his wrist, “Stop— stop that! What are you doing?!”
It was no use. The cake was nothing but totally ruined now. You didn’t even have the chance to read the message. He forcefully digs the candles on both, sliding it in front of you. Your eyes stayed on the cake– you didn’t have the heart to look at him. Anger boiled up within you and without a moment's hesitation, the words leaped from your mouth, "You're not listening to me! This is not what I'm so upset about—!"
But he responds in the same loudness as yours, slamming his hands down on the cold tiles of your countertop. “Okay, champ, you got it– go for it! Say what you have to say,” A sarcastic chuckle left his lips, adding insult to the already deep wound. “What do you have to tell me so bad?”
And you didn’t think it was possible for silence to be more deafening, but as you stared each other down, all you could think of was how maybe Miguel was worse than the archetypal absent one who chose to abandon his child or the dead-beat-dad who ultimately never cared for them.
You were right. Fathers were capable of unloving their daughters and the way his dark eyes burned into yours was all the answer you needed. This wasn’t your papa– did you ever know him?
“My birthday was two days ago.”
He furrowed his eyebrows, doubt creasing his forehead as he looked back to the calendar hung on the fridge. His gaze resting on your birthday date, the red circle mocking him in vivid reminder— two days ago. Your birthday was two days ago. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks, and he felt nothing but guilt tying his stomach in knots.
“Mijita–” He’s quick to console you, the anger in his words disappearing immediately and turning into an apologetic one– but every time he’d try to move forward, you’d only step back. Miguel couldn’t even bear to think how you’ve celebrated on your own. How you waited for him all night in your birthday dress. He subtly shook his head, trying his best not to clog his mind yet.
He needed to make it up to you. He couldn’t lose you too.
“My birthday– why did you have to take it?” You rubbed your eyes harshly, but the more you wiped the tears away, the more they seemed to fall. “It’s mine and I still had to wait for you to be able to sing the song. It’s my day and all I could think of was what time you might come home tonight.”
You wanted nothing more than for him to run to you with open arms, to let you cry on his shoulders– but as his silence stretched on, you mistook it as nothing but ruthless. He simply didn’t care. Miguel was too much of a wall for that.
The look you gave him was nothing but hate– a look no parent wants to ever come across and it almost makes him stagger back. It was like what he had done was the most disgusting– most inconsolable act ever beyond repair and all he could do was watch; watch as another daughter of his slip through his fingers. He’s holding you like water and he doesn’t know how to keep you in.
You scoffed, averting your gaze. “You don’t want to talk about it? Fine by me.” You turned your back, letting out another shaky exhale. You couldn’t look at him the same– not after this.
“You make it really, really, hard to feel like a daughter.”
And with that, you run to your room, leaving Miguel to stay rooted to where he stood. He thinks to himself– had he taken that from you too?

Wayne was staying with a friend who, unfortunately, couldn't house anyone else, so Eddie would have to continue to stay with Steve while they waited for their new place to be ready. Neither one of them was complaining about it. Wayne decided to prepare Steve for living with Eddie.
"You should know that once he's all healed up, he's probably going to go back to sleepwalking. He does some pretty weird shit when he sleep walks," Wayne said.
"Like what?" Steve asked.
"Oh, you'll find out, son," Wayne replied with a smirk.
"Wait, does this have anything to do with the fact that at the trailer, his lock for his bedroom was on the outside of his door?" Steve asked.
"You'll find out," Wayne smirked and left. "Remember, never wake a sleep walker."
"Okay, that wasn't cryptic at all," Steve said and brought it up with Eddie.
"Oh, yeah, I have no idea what that's about. He's always said he doesn't tell me because he doesn't want to embarrass me," Eddie said, narrowing his eyes. "It makes me wonder if he's fucking with me. I don't think I sleep walk at all."
Shortly after he healed up enough, Steve quickly found out that Eddie did, in fact, sleep walk. Steve had gotten up in the middle of the night to get himself a drink of water when he found Eddie standing behind the kitchen island. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and Steve hoped he wasn't completely naked.
"Just shopping," Eddie said in a thick country accent, his eyes closed.
"Shopping?" Steve couldn't help but ask.
"Baby got bit," Eddie said.
"The baby got bit?" Steve asked, smiling.
"By bat," Eddie said.
"Whose baby?" He asked.
"Our Dusty," Eddie said. "Need meds."
"Well, you don't have to worry about that. I found the ointment and put it on the baby. He's sleeping peacefully. If you go to bed now, I'll show you the cutest little hat Grandpa Wayne bought for Dusty," Steve said, struggling not to laugh.
"Mkay," Eddie said.
He moved out from behind the island and started moving out of the kitchen. Yeah, Eddie was stark naked. Steve tried not to look at his ass as he walked behind him to follow him up the stairs, picking Eddie's discarded clothes as he did so. He followed him into his mother's bedroom and watched as Eddie slipped on one of his mother's flowery nightgowns that she never wore and then fell face forward onto his parents' bed. Steve grinned. He could undress him, put his clothes back on him, and bring him back to his room, or he could leave him there. Steve decided to leave him.
"Quick question," Steve said when he called Wayne.
"He slept walked?" Wayne chortled.
"Yeah, why the hell didn't you warn me that he would do it completely naked?" Steve asked.
"Shit, he usually wears his boxers," Wayne said.
"I guess he did that special just for me," Steve said sarcastically.
"Guess so," he cackled.
"You're a menace," Steve said.
"You know, one time I caught him halfway through the park trying to lure a feral raccoon so he could breastfeed the damn thing. Luckily, I caught him before he could get rabies. I put a lock on the door after that, one of those where you leave the key in the lock," Wayne said.
"Last night, he was shopping for medicine because our baby Dusty got bit by a bat," Steve said.
"Boy must be baby crazy. Well, I figure he's your problem now, son," Wayne said.
"Thanks," Steve replied.
Eddie stumbled in, still wearing his mother's dress.
"What the fuck happened last night?" Eddie asked.
"You slept walked," Steve replied.
"I did not! You take that back!" Eddie shrieked.
"You did. You went shopping in my kitchen completely naked and then put on my mother's dress," Steve said.
"Yeah, right," Eddie scoffed.
"Well, what do you think happened? Do you think that tiny elves kidnapped you, brought you to my mother's room, undressed you, and put my mother's dress on you?"
". . .yes."
Steve groaned and slapped his hand to his face.
"Good luck, you're going to need it," Wayne laughed before hanging up the phone.
Eddie started twirling and squatting right in front of him.
"Ooh, I like the way it swooshes around my legs. I wonder if they have this in black," Eddie said and leaned all the way over to look under the dress, his hair falling forward.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Steve asked.
"Trying to see if I can suck my own dick," Eddie said.
Steve looked at him in disbelief. It was hard to believe that he was going to spend the rest of his life with this guy. He was going to be a part of his life whether Eddie wanted him romantically or platonically. It was going to happen.

The Harrington Pattern Part 1
Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late uploading today, but I went to bed early last night and forgot to schedule this.
Oops!
But! Welcome to what I've been calling Steve is a History Nerd agenda. We see in season two on Steve's essay for colleges that he can link his grandfather's military service with his prowess on the basketball court.
It is also surprisingly well written. *shakes fist at the Duffers stop telling us he's stupid and then showing the opposite, please! Let him be smart, too!*
Summary: The Renaissance Fair is finally back in Hawkins after three year absence (Starcourt was built on the fair site and after the fire it was bulldozed back to it's original field). Everyone is excited, even Steve to everyone's amazement. But Steve is hiding other hidden depths as he offers to help the kids make their costumes for the Fair.
Lucas is struggling with being both a nerd and a jock and fears the judgment of his friends. Steve sets out to help him overcome those doubts to be himself.
Tagging the untaggable: @mira-jadeamethyst @rozzieroos @itsall-taken @redfreckledwolf @emly03
***
Nobody expects Steve to be excited for the Renaissance fair. Dustin, Will and Lucas spend hours plotting bribes, schemes and out and out manipulations to get Steve to agree to take them. Even Robin expected him to side with her about the dust and the filth. Eddie expected him to be dismissive of the fantasy aspect of it.
Boy were they all wrong.
For it was Steve to bring up to the group after a rather successful D&D session.
In his hand was a bright pink flier and a wide grin on his face.
“Guys! The Ren Fair is back this year,” he said in lieu of a greeting. “I’ll finally be able to show off that tunic I’ve been working on.”
All heads turned to Steve in shock.
There was a cacophony of questions.
“Since when did you know how to sew?”
“What do you mean back? I didn’t even know Hawkins had one to begin with!”
“You want to go to the Ren Fair?”
“Why would you want to spend all day in the heat and dirt?”
Steve looked around at all off his friends in shock.
“Guys, I love the Ren Fair,” he muttered. “Didn’t you guys know?”
All their jaws dropped.
And Eddie? Eddie felt an icicle to the heart at the sight of Steve’s hurt expression.
“You’ll pardon the peasants, my liege,” Eddie said, bowing grandly. “I’m afraid we have all be harboring under the delusion that Ren Fairs were beneath your notice.”
Steve blinked at him a moment. “But I love that stuff. It’s the history and sword fights and jousting. It’s the like medieval Olympics. It’s the romance and chivalry of knights fighting for a fair maiden’s hand. It’s getting to dress up in fancy clothes and rip into turkey legs like a savage. What’s not to like?”
Dustin frowned. “Who here knew Steve liked history?”
Robin and Nancy raised their hands. They looked around waiting for me people to join them. But they stayed down.
Steve ducked his head and scuffed the floor with the edge of his sneaker.
“The ex-girlfriend I’ll buy,” Dustin continued. “But Robin didn’t become friends with Steve until after he graduated so how did she know?”
Robin blinked at them owlishly. “You mean you guys don’t know?”
Everyone looked around each other and then shook their heads.
“Steve was in my AP history class my junior year,” she said as if this was know fact.
“You do know that AP stands for advance placement, right?” Mike asked.
Eddie smacked the back of his head. “She was in it, dude. Don’t be an ass.”
Steve looked up at him and smiled a little.
Good, Eddie thought. Nothing like a little Mike violence to cheer up Steve.
“He wrote an essay for early placement college exams,” Nancy said. “He didn’t get a chance to turn it in because of our second go round with the Upside Down, but it was really good. It needed a little neatening up with the actual writing, but the history was solid.”
Steve blushed. “Thanks.”
Dustin looked skeptical. “What’s your favorite part of history?”
Steve opened his mouth and then closed it again. “I liked hearing about my grandpa’s time in the US army during WWII, but that was more because he made it interesting. But I really like the Industrial Revolution. Or rather the first Industrial Revolution. There have been four. The first one was from 1760-1840 and featured heavily in the textile movement.”
The room was silent.
“Why textiles, Stevie?” Eddie asked as the silence grew awkward.
Steve lit up like a child at Christmas morning and he began talking about the British textile movement.
“What the hell?” Dustin huffed, breaking into Steve monologue.
Steve ducked his head again and blushed. “Just because I’m not interested in science and fantasy doesn’t mean I’m stupid.” He straightened up. “And yeah, sometimes I get things wrong. But everyone does at some point. In fact I get a hell of a lot more flack for my intelligence than Eddie does and he repeated his senior year twice!” He took a deep breath and then ran his fingers through his hair.
“No offense,” he said waving to Eddie.
Eddie looked up at him with earnest eyes. “None taken. I concur.”
They all looked around at each other in shock. Like they hadn’t realized that they had done that.
After a few moments, Steve put his hands on his hips and pointed at all of them.
“So do you guys want to go or what?”
Eddie sat back with a smile as everyone roared their approval.
*
“No corsets,” was Robin’s only firm and fast rule for Steve when it came to dressing her up for the Ren Fair.
Steve looked her up and down. “Why on earth would I want you in a corset? Have you looked in the mirror?”
“Uh...” Robin said. “Is that a trick question? Of course I have. I don’t what that has to do with saying no to corsets though...”
Steve rolled his eyes. “In order to give you the curve you need to match the proper silhouette you would need to be cinched to hell. And as this is supposed to be fun.”
He grabbed her hand and started hauling her toward his car.
“Where are we going?”
“Thrifting!” he said with glee.
It took three different stores and a stop at the mall to get everything he needed.
“Give me three days,” he told her when he dropped her off at her house. “And I think you’ll like what I come up with.”
Robin eyed him warily. “If you say so.”
Steve laughed.
He crashed the next D&D session, showing up early to pick them up.
“What is everyone wearing to the Ren Fair?” he asked with a note pad on his lap and wagged the pen in his fingers.
“You want us to dress up?” Mike asked, eyes wide.
“Why not?” he asked with a shrug. “I’ve made my costume and currently reworking some thirfted threads for Robin’s outfit.”
Eddie blinked. “You made your costume?”
Steve shrugged again. “Yeah. I like sewing.”
There was suddenly an uproar and he held up a hand. “I can’t make you a full outfit before the Fair, but I can make over already made clothes to make them more historical. And maybe for next year I’ll have the time to make something special for everyone.”
Dustin eyed him suspiciously. “Like what?”
“Like tailoring pants to a tighter fit,” Steve explained “adding a sash or belt, turning old coats into vests and cloaks, things like that.”
They still weren’t sure how that would work out.
“Now I talked to Joyce and Claudia,” he continued. “And they’re both willing to help out in making sure everyone has something nice to wear. That includes Max and El.”
“Are the fair maidens joining us?” Eddie asked.
Steve nodded. “Yeah. Joyce is doing El and Will, Claudia is doing Dustin and Mike, and I’m doing Lucas and Max. Eddie said he already had a costume, so I didn’t have to worry about him.”
Eddie grinned. “You better believe it, pretty boy.”
Steve ducked his head and blushed. “So we’re all going thrifting with a $5 limit for each of you. But I wanted to brainstorm some ideas of what you wanted to go as so we don’t waste time wandering around.”
Everyone started shouting at once and it took Steve a good ten minutes before he got everyone calmed down enough to get what they wanted. Dustin wanted to go as a hobbit, but Steve had to nix that one.
“You don’t want to go running around the grounds barefoot,” he explained with a wince. “It’s not safe.”
“I’m going to have to agree with Stevie on this one,” Eddie said. “You guys have never been but there is all sorts of stuff laying around. It’s not indoors and the pathways are dirt lined. Think the state fair. It’s more like that then going to comic book convention.”
Dustin grumbled but conceded the point. Steve got them to decide on... well not quite peasant gear, but more rough around the edges than what Steve would be wearing.
Well, all but Lucas. He didn’t want to wear what they were wearing but he refused to say what he did want to wear.
So Steve dropped him off at home last.
They pulled into his driveway and Steve turned to him. “Do you not want to dress up? Because I won’t make you.”
Lucas picked at the loose string on his sweater. “It’s not that. I just remember the last time we did a group costume and they all thought I should be Winston because I was black like he was.”
Steve frowned for a moment. “The Ghostbusters, right?”
Lucas nodded. “I knew if I brought it up they’d shoot me down again.”
“So what did you want to go as?” he asked.
Lucas huffed out a sigh. “It doesn’t matter. It’s a stupid pipe dream anyway. Especially since you have to make Max’s dress and Robin’s costume, too.”
He opened the door to get out, but Steve reached over and slammed it closed.
“One, Robin’s costume is almost done,” he said counting out on his fingers. “Two, do you really think your girlfriend is going to want to wear a dress? And three, let me be the judge on what’s too much for me, okay?”
Lucas huffed a laugh at his second point. “Yeah, that was dumb of me.”
“So what is it?”
Lucas looked down again and heaved out a sigh. “An elf.”
Steve’s mind was whirling with the possibilities. “What colors?”
“What?” Lucas asked, not sure he heard Steve right.
“What colors would you want it to be?”
He pulled out the notebook and scrambled for a pen. Lucas pulled a pencil out of his bag and handed it to him.
“Uh I was thinking of a light blue and with a silver trim?” he said hesitantly.
Steve sketched something out. “Like this?”
Lucas leaned over to look at the drawing. “A little shorter so I’m not tripping over it and maybe those puffy pants?”
Steve adjusted the drawing and Lucas nodded.
“Yeah, like that.”
“All right,” Steve said. “I know exactly what to do and how to do it. It won’t be perfect because I don’t have time to do it right so I’ll be doing a lot of cheating. But yeah, it’s doable.”
Lucas gave him a hug. “Thanks, man.”
*
Steve called the one person he knew he could help him.
“Eddie,” he said the second the other man picked up. “I need your nerd connections to do a huge favor for Lucas.”
“Wha’cha got, big boy?” Eddie asked with a grin.
“You wouldn’t happen to know any Trekkies would you?” Steve asked chewing on his bottom lip.
“That depends, Stevie,” Eddie replied, “what’s the need?”
“Pointed ears.”
Eddie hummed. “I’m assuming you’re thinking Trekkie because of Spock and that’s a good thought. But I’m guessing since we’re going to the Ren Fair our stalwart ranger is wanting to be an elf?”
“Yeah,” Steve said. “Do you know anyone who can help?”
“Better than that,” Eddie said. “I know where to get the ears in the right... shade?”
Steve perked up. “Oh? I’m guessing Jeff?”
“Right in one, darlin’,” Eddie said with a soft smile. “I’ll give him a call and then call you back.”
“Thanks, Eds,” Steve breathed. “You’re the best.”
“Thanks, doll.”
****
I am so excited for this, guys. You have no idea. I'm little history nerd myself and this really fun to play around with.
Just a heads up. We WILL be addressing Mike's casual racism from the Ghostbusters scene because I don't like that it's never been addressed.

The metal scraped against the ceramic plate as Geto played around with the food you had made for him. His face stoic as he sits there and stares at it. Your eyes flicker up to his fingers, taking a bite of your food. He hasn’t said a word to you since he’s walked through the door, completely ignoring your presence and advances. He didn’t even respond when you said hi.
He’s been acting cold towards you for months know, not responding to your texts, coming home late, always tired, shrugging you off when you try and show him affection. You didn’t want to overthink it, knowing that he does go through phases where he’d rather be by himself. But this, this was different. Usually he’d talk to you, explain what he’s feeling, and now he can’t even do that. He treats you like a stranger, like you’re a roommate rather than his girlfriend. As you sat there in your bed late at night, staring at his sleeping figure, you began to wonder if your once loving boyfriend was cheating on you.
The thought of it broke your heart in two, made you sick to your stomach and put an empty feeling in your chest. You’d walk into the bathroom and shut the door behind you to cry, hoping you don’t wake him up. The man who was sitting across from you right now wasn’t the man you fell in love with.
“Not hungry?” You broke the silence, placing your fork down on the plate.
“No,” he bluntly answered, tossing his fork down. A long sigh left his lips, pushing the plate of food away from him. “I already ate.”
“At work?” You asked, puzzled. He didn’t come home until nine at night, six hours after he was supposed to leave work.
“Yep,” he plainly replied.
You swallowed the lump in your throat, looking back down at your plate as Geto sat there, arms folded across his chest. You weren’t sure what to say to him anymore. Anytime you tried sparking up a conversation he never showed interest, completely shutting you down. He was pushing you to your breaking point, leaving you nothing left but to lash out on him about his behavior towards you.
“You really shouldn’t have waited up for me.” Yet another sigh leaves his lips, like he was annoyed with the fact you were present in his life. Your brows furrowed, his words not sitting right with you. He’s made you feel useless, unwanted, like you were nothing but a placeholder in his life.
“Well, I wanted to. We never spend time together anymore.” You grab your cup, taking a sip of your water in hopes to hide the shakiness in your voice.
“We do,” he quickly said.
“We don’t.” You avert your gaze, unable to look at him.
“What is your problem?” He asks, voice sharp.
You found it in yourself to meet his gaze, taken by surprise from his question. You scoffed, almost laughing in his face. “What is wrong with me?” You ask.
“Yeah!” He shrugs his shoulders.
“What is wrong with you, Suguru? You come home and ignore me, can’t even find it within yourself to say hi. You come home late every single night, walking right past me like you have something to hide. You don’t even eat the food I cook for you anymore even if it’s your favorite! You can’t even hold a conversation with me! And we haven’t even said I love you to each other in I don’t know how long!” You’ve reached your breaking point, all the months of holding everything back now unleashing.
“Because I am too tired! What don’t you understand?!” He yells, a scowl on his face.
“Too tired?! Too tired! You stay six hours later than you need to every fucking day doing who knows what! That’s your own fault! I’m your girlfriend, Suguru, sorry that I have to remind you! I’m not some damn roommate of yours that helps pay the bills! You’ve been treating me like some stranger for the last few months!” You quickly respond, tears brimming your eyes. You stand up from your seat at the table, letting out shaky breath as you turn to look away from him. The room becomes silent. All that could be heard were your broken sobs. Suguru looks at you, chest heaving up and down as he tries to control his breathing.
“It’s hurts,” you whimper, sniffling. “I love you so much and I don’t even think you feel the same way anymore.” You turn to look at him. “What happened to the man I used to know?” A frown forms on your face as you try so hard to hold back your tears. “What are we?”
He stares at you for an unreasonably long time, eyes never leaving yours. “I don’t know,” he answers after what feels like hours. His words make you sob even harder, embarrassed that it’s come to this.
“Are you seeing someone else?” You have your back turned towards him, heart beating rapidly in your chest. It feels like an elephant is sitting on your chest as you wait for him to answer you. You can’t bear to look into his empty eyes, knowing that the love he had for you is no longer there. He’s an empty man. Anxiously, you bite on your nails, leg bouncing up and down. Your dinner was cold, and so was the room. Everything seemed cold.
“Yes.” He almost sounds ashamed when he answers. Tears pour down your face upon hearing that singular word. You knew it all along. Suguru is still sitting there, holding his head in his hands before dragging them down his face.
The room is spinning and your chest hurts. You feel nauseous, the food you just ate threatening to come back up. Though your knees are weak, you find the strength to walk towards your shared bedroom, tears blurring your vision as you pull your suitcase from the closet, tossing whatever clothes you had in, not bothering to fold them. Anger flows through you, remembering all the times you desperately tried to fight for his affection and love, all the times when you cried to yourself as you sat alone with your thoughts. He didn’t care.
You hear footsteps approach from behind you as you angrily rip your clothes off of the hanger and from the drawers, throwing them to the floor. You can’t stop crying no matter how hard you try. He doesn’t deserve your tears. “I’m sorry.”
You immediately stop in your tracks, slowly turning to look at him. “Now you’re sorry?!” You inch your way towards his brooding figure. “Why did you even stay?! Did you get enjoyment from me trying to get your attention, huh? You’re a fucking joke.” You stare up at him with hatred, venom lining your tone. “Fuck you!” You push him causing him to stumble backwards. “I hate you!” Your voice cracks as more tears well up in your eyes. “I really hate you!”
“I know.” He stands there with his hands in his pockets, looking at you through half lidded eyes.
You shake your head at him, returning back to packing your things. Suguru doesn’t know what he expected, he can’t seem to find an explanation for why he did what he did. You were perfect, loving, beautiful, caring, and he took all that away from you in a span of five minutes. He took it away from you his hands touched that other woman. He knew you’d catch on, you weren’t stupid. He felt guilty, but couldn’t stop himself from indulging in the attention of others—the woman.
“Who is it?” You ask, sitting on the floor as you hold your crumpled up shirt in your hand. As much as it would hurt to know, you needed some type of closure.
“I met her the night we had that argument.” He bit the inside of his cheek. It was a petty argument the two of you had, something about him leaving his clothes all over the floor. It escalated into a full blown fight, yelling at each other about that things that had zero correlation with what you first started fighting about in the first place. Hurtful things were said and he left to blow off some steam, finding himself at a club while you were at home texting and calling him, wondering where he was. That’s where he met her. Declining your calls while he was entertaining another woman. That entertainment shortly turned into him ending up at her place, their clothes discarded on the floor and his lips on hers, sweaty bodies pressed against each other.
After she fell asleep, he checked his phone to see you had texted him over ten times and called him over five, concerned for his safety. When he came back home, he found you sleeping on the couch, no blanket, no pillow. You fell asleep while waiting for him. It spiraled down from there.
A sob raked through your body as you remembered the argument he was talking about. “You were fucking her while I was here…waiting for you to come back home.” You felt sick, hands shaking as the thought formed an image in your head. “I can’t even look at you. I don’t know who you are anymore,” you said with disgust. Zipping up your suitcase, you stood to your feet and bumped shoulders with Suguru as you walked towards the front door to grab your coat and put on your shoes.
You left the house key on the small stand by the door before walking out, slamming the door shut behind you. The house stood silent, Suguru standing in the hallway as he stared at the front door. Remnants of your perfume filled the air, the dinner you had made still left on the two plates, the gifts he had got you were left behind, your side of the bed still messy from where you slept this morning, your towel still hanging in the bathroom along with your shampoo and conditioner.
He understands how much of a shitty person he is. He knows that he deserves a life without you as he casted you aside. As to why he stayed? Suguru was unsure of that himself. He questioned it multiple times when he heard you crying in the bathrooms all those nights. He hurt you deeply. Maybe he was waiting for the moment you broke up with him, afraid of doing it himself for whatever reason. He feels a sort of emptiness as well now, standing as silence consumed him. He was unsure of how to feel or react. Is he broken in a way? Is that why he did what he did?
His phone vibrating in his pocket pulled him away from his thoughts. He slowly pulls it out, staring at the name on the screen. It was her. He sucked in a breath, thumb hovering over the screen.
He declined the call.

Injuries pt2
Description:you come back from your travels injured, how do they react?
Warnings:injuries obviously but its vague
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Blade
He was seriously trying to have a calm and nice night, but then you walked in,all injured
"Where were you?"pauses and eyes you up and down"what happened?who did that?"
He sighs, gets up and carries you to your bed and then goes to get medicine and bandages
He swears to himself he is not panicking,if someone where to say he's panicking right now he'd deny it until his dying breath and in the afterlife, but the way he rummages through the medicine cabinets and searches for bandages says a different story
Truly, his actions betray his words,he says he's all calm but just look at the way his movements seem agitated, brows just a tad furrowed together, you'd have to squint so hard to actually see it on his face
But once he's got you all patched you better expect a lecture, but it doesnt sound like a lecture if you dont know him,if you didnt know anything about him at all it'd just sound as if he was listing off all of the things you did wrong that got you into this situation, but you know thats his way of telling you that you werent careful enough and giving advice
If you cant walk or move around much while your injuries heal he'll drop by your room during meal times with food and eat together with you and then leave,if you ask him nicely maybe he'll stay to keep you company, but otherwise dont expect him to stick around too long
But if you can walk and move around well,no you cant if he considers your injuries to be too grave, then you are staying in bed whether you have the ability to move or not,no questions asked
Once you're all healed up even if you wont see it Blade becomes overprotective,as i said you wont be seeing it since it'll be very subtle things, you'd have to pick up the hints off the floor
Overall 7/10 because you'll be confined to your bed and he wont have any idea of how to keep you company, plus the sass
Jing Yuan
He was worried the moment he realized you were late
"Where were you?"pauses and looks at you"Forget it lets just get you a doctor"
He doesnt even let you respond before he swoops you up bridal style and brings you to a doctor
Once the doctor is done patching you up he takes you back home, and lays you in bed, obviously he's not panicked or alarmed, just stressed about your state
Why didnt you call him? How did this happen? Why wasnt he there?
Nethier way he'll brush all that aside to take care of you
If you have to be bedridden he'll be at your beck and call until your injuries are fully healed, keeping you entertained with stories, jokes, mindless talks and even board games
If you can move around and dont have to stay in bed then great, you're still not moving too much, because he's carrying you almost everywhere due to the fact that he's worried over you physical condition
Once you're all recovered he'll have a serious talk with you about your safety and how you can rely on him
9/10 only because of the way he's blame himself for what happened to you
Gepard
He was happy to finally use what little time he had to spend with you,but then you walked in
"Huh?! Love what happened?!"
He'd rush to your side and carry you to lay down, and despite being initially alarmed he calms down and gets his priorities in order and gets you to a doctor
After you're all patched up he'll carry you back home and do whatever he can to help you. He sees silvermane guards get injured due to monsters almost daily so he's used to injuries, but even so,seeing his partner injured like this still worries him to no end
And he wont try to hide his worries about you
He's an experienced and strong silvermane guard, heck he"s even the head of the silvermane guards, why didnt you take him along with you? He could've prevented this, the situation definetly frustrates him and he's not afraid to show it
If you cant move around much and have to stay in bed he becomes your personal butler when he's around, bringing you food, doing chores and doing his best to keep you entertained and healing
And during times when he's on duty and cant be near you he'll ask his sister for help
If you arent bedridden then you have full mama bear Gepard because, oh boy the overprotectiveness that you never knew he had comes out
You want to cook by yourself? Oh no way is he letting you on your own,he's coming to help and he'll do most of it. You want to take a walk? Sure but you only get to walk for a bit before he's carrying you
Overall 10/10,do i need to explain?
Yanqing
He was so excited for you to come back,he was basically beaming knowing you were on your way
"Ah you're finally back!"he pauses and takes a good look at you"Huh?! Are you alright?! Come lets get you to a doctor!"
Initially he'll be panicked, very, until after the doctor is done bandaging your wounds and everything, thats when he finally relaxes after he's been pacing around like a headless chicken
And you better expect a full blown lecture, dont even think you can escape this lecture through any ways
As much as he loves you,he worried so much and still is seeing you in such a state,of course he'll be scolding you about not taking care of yourself and about being reckless
When he's finally calmed down he'll be placing his arms on your bedside and place his head onto his crossed arms right at the edge of your bed and just talk to you,he'll even play with your hand while talking to you, playing with your hand and vice versa or holding hands calms him down so
If you have to be bedridden then prepare for a full alert mode Yanqing because this man right here has your whole entire treatement memorized by heart if you have one(changing bandages, medicine for the wounds, pain killers, etc.),and since he has to leave the house due to his duties he'll leave everything prepared in a way that gives you easy acces to food, board games, books, snacks, anything you'd need
If you dont have to stay in bed then great,he'll get you to move around with him hoping it'll make your wounds better,of course he wont push you beyond your limit but still,he'll also be extra careful with you asking you quite often how you're feeling and if you're alright
9/10 only because he'd be so stressed and worried over you

Forbidden Fruit
pairings- dbf! toji x Fem! reader
summary- your dads lowlife best friend comes to stay with you and your father for a while. your feelings of annoyance and hatred toward him turn into something more.
a/n - i had a good plot planned out until i actually started writing this so im sorry ab the randomness
            NSFW WARNING :
contains- age gap (reader is early 20's, toji is early 40's bc i said so), unprotected sex, daddy kink, hair pulling , degrading
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
To put it lightly, Toji is a complete ass. He's an aging bachelor who has no future plans, a drinking problem which he tries to hide from your father, can't hold a steady job, and basically mooches off your father's financial generosity. He's loud and obnoxious, always trying to pick a fight with you over something stupid. Whenever your dad isn't there, he acts like he owns the place and makes up his own rules. He's the worst houseguest ever, and you kind of just want to punch him in the face. But then again, he's your dad's best friend, you've known him for years, so you have to be nice to him.
It's been a little over a month now since Toji has been staying with you and your dad. His presence has been a constant irritation, and it's hard to understand what exactly your dad sees in him. He seems to believe that anything he does should be accepted without question, and he constantly pokes and prods at you.  It's been a struggle for you to feel comfortable in your own home ever since he started staying with you. He seems to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, without any thought for the people around him. He sleeps on your couch, stays up eating your food, and makes no effort to clean up after himself.  And he's constantly giving you a hard time about being an adult and still living with your dad. He tells you how you should have moved out ages ago, as if he has the right.
You know Toji is an absolute jerk. You loathe him and everything he stands for, so why do you keep finding yourself staring at his perfect figure? His muscular arms, his broad shoulders, his rock-hard abs, his thick thighs. His masculine face, and that cocky, all knowing grin of his. You can't seem to take your eyes off of him, and you hate that you find yourself attracted to him despite knowing who he really is on the inside. You hate that you crave his attention, that you want him to notice you. You know it's wrong to desire him in any way. He's your fathers friend, almost twice your age. And you had a boyfriend.
And yet, you can't help yourself. Leaving your room at night to 'get a glass of water' just to steal a glance at him. Sprawled out on your couch wearing only his tight boxers that showed his outline.
Purposefully leaving your door open when you changed clothes, hoping he'd be watching (which he often was.) Your actions grew desperate over time.
You were disgusted with yourself. So ashamed, thrusting your fingers into your needy cunt, pitifully whining at the fact that your little fingers could never fulfill your needs like his rough, manly ones probably could. Struggling to get off, the guilt looming over you but at the same time feeling so good. The thought of the cocky, ever teasing, older man bringing you to orgasm every time without fail. He was like forbidden fruit. Right there but you wouldn't dare try and taste. As badly as you wanted to, there was just no way.
or so you thought.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
While your dad was out at work, you find yourself alone in the house with Toji. It all started with a glance. Just a look.
That's what lead to you now, squealing into the couch cushions. Panties dropped down to your ankles and your skirt pushed up over your ass. His massive form stood behind you, one hand roughly holding you up by your hair, the other rapidly rubbing at your sensitive nub. "Such a fucking slut," he groans, "bet your little boyfriend can't even reach this far into you, hm princess? So fuckin' tight...it's like you've never even been fucked."
"A-ah...mnn Toji!" you whimper.
His cock stretches you. He was bigger than you ever would have imagined, his girth molding your walls into his shape. "Dirty girl, look at ya', drunk on your father's friends' cock."
His degrading only drove you crazier. Your knees grew weaker, legs wobbling so much you thought you'd fall, his strong hold keeps you positioned as you were. Making you feel every agonizing inch of his thickness. His bulbous tip rutting into your weak spots as he jackhammers into you with no remorse. You could barely even keep your eyes open, your voice coming out in half screams of his name.Your back arched into him as he hit that angle just right.
The stimulation of both your gspot and clit was breathtaking. Your brain went dumb with every stroke. You weren't even worried about how wrong it all was. You could only feel. Feel as the older man used your drenched pussy like his own personal fleshlight.
Your orgasm steadily crept, you couldn't hold it in even if you wanted to. "Mn..gonna cum daddy.." you thoughtlessly mewled.
The use of the new title stirred something within him, going straight to his cock. His head tilted back with a low grunt, "Good fuckin' girl...call me that again."
"Feels s' good daddy...ahh-mnn, I can't take it..." you babble.
He completely loses it. Hips stuttering, grip tightness. "Fuck princess, cum w' me. Cum all over daddy's cock, baby. c'mon." he was practically pleading, trying so hard to keep going and not finish so soon. But you brought out a whole other side to him. Even with all your previous tempting, he never thought he'd be here, balls deep in his best friends daughter. your tight cunt was just too good. he didn't care about the consequences. he wanted you for far too long.
He shoves your head into the cushions, muffling your sweet cries as you cream all over his length. Your quivering and whiny moans forced his own climax, making him spill deep inside. "Oh my fucking god.." he let out an elongated moan, as he filled you up, practically trembling at the release he felt. Steadily pumping his cum into you.
He relaxes his grip on your hair, slowing the roll of his hips as he tries to ground himself. He lowers you onto the couch as he slips out of you, collapsing along side you.
"y' alright, princess?" you weakly nod, mulling over to snuggle up to him. Toji takes you into his bulky arms, holding you against his chest. You melt into him, listening to the rapid beating of his heart, and his heavy breathing. Your eyes flutter shut, growing more and more tired.
Noticing, he shifts a bit, "Hey, don't be fallin asleep on me princess," he laughs, "lets get ya' cleaned up before your dad gets home."

hey love! could you write a blurb about jude being mad at you and not talking to you and you make it up to him and he knows he cant stay mad so he forgives you and you cry and hes all like "dont cry bby" something super fluffy
hi hi hi!! here you go lovely! 🤍 i think i would cry the minute he starts ignoring me… 😟💔
| masterlist | jude's masterlist
you rolled your eyes and walked away from jude who scrolled through his phone quietly and undisturbed. he had been ignoring you since last night when you had accidentally forgotten to remind him you had plans. they were made super quick so he was left dumb founded when you were out and instead at home with him.
you texted him prior before you left and you guess he had not read that. jude was being cold, ignoring your hugs or attempts of kisses. last night when you got home all he could do was turn and face the door and didn't even utter a good night. you tried to make his favorite cookies but he looked at them and went to training. he hadn't said a word since the day before.
jude was chatty, sometimes you would lose focus on what he was saying because he went from one story to another in a span of seconds. it began to irritate you when he wasn't speaking, not answering texts, calls, and even questions you asked. he simply felt like a stranger.
you got up early to make him breakfast, even a small snack so he could have it after training. filled his training bag with clean clothes and his extra pair of boots, and his water bottle. he didn't even thank you, walking away and into the taxi to the training center.
it bothered you the entire day how distant and immature he was being. jude was the type to check in, so glancing at your phone every minute that passed also didn't help. he should be able to talk it out instead of acting like a jerk. you cursed at him silently in your head, pinching the bridge of your nose before returning back to your tasks.
on the way back home, you picked up his favorite meal from the grocery store, getting all his favorite snacks and drinks he would eat around the house. you got a deck of cards and a new board game to try out. you wanted to make it up to him, any way possible.
jude continued to ignore you throughout the evening, making you start feel uneasy and guilty for a small mistake you committed. part of you also still felt angry because he would even bother to answer anything or the fact he was in his own world making you feel like an outcast. your eyes burned with tears as you heard him walk upstairs, choking back a sob as all you wanted was to be held by him.
jude upstairs was also beginning to feel he dragged it out to much. a feeling in his chest when he remembered how defeated you looked as he came up to your bedroom. he wanted you to feel like he felt yesterday, but he could see it wasn’t the same for you. jude had to resist the urge to tell you about his day, the thank you’s for making him food and cookies, for going above and beyond all day so he could lay attention to you.
a plastic wrapping caught jude’s eyesight after an hour passed. you still hadn’t come up and he was afraid you wouldn’t because of how he acted. he was overreacting he knew it, but also he felt disappointed and upset at the fact you clearly forgot to tell him about your plans till last minute.
“what the?” jude asked himself as he approached the wrapping. he uncovered it being faced with a cartoon drawing similar to those they did at fair of the two of you. next to it was a small minion holding a small box of box of hershey kisses and a hand written note by you.
ilysm my little minion (jude) 🖤
- y/n 💋
he laughed feeling the guilt in his chest as he stared at the three pieces you got him yesterday while you were out. you always thought of him, like jude always thought about you. he grabbed the three items and headed downstairs where he saw you watching a movie, covered with a knitted blanket and laying on your side.
you yawned slowly drifting in and out of sleep, your body feeling as it sinked into the couch and would never come back up. you listened to jude as he paced around, your heart racing when he began approaching you. you continued to stare out into the tv, tears brimming your eyes again as you felt the need to apologize.
jude sat by your legs, looking directly at you not being able to hold it in any longer, “y/n? don’t cry baby…” jude said gently grabbing your arm and helping you pull yourself up into his arms. you let out struggles of scattered breaths and sobs, holding him tightly against your front and on his lap.
jude ran his hand on your back, soothing your choked sobs and whines. “i’m sorry y/n, i was being immature and a jerk when you didn’t deserve it. you made a mistake and i had no right to push and ignore you like i did,” jude apologized first pulling you back so he could wipe away the tears.
“part of me was hurt because i wanted to spend time you and you weren’t here. and you had advised me last minute you were going out. you always tell me a day, a week even a month in advance when you go out, i don’t know why i thought negative thoughts…” jude continued, kiss your hand and rubbing your cheek in comfort.
he watched you finally relax into his embrace, eyes closed and wet due to the tears, lips slightly plump and swollen from crying. “i saw your gift,” jude says happily, watching your glossy eyes lift up as you gave him a small smile. “where should we hang it up?”
“anywhere you want,” you say shrugging still trying to wrap your head if he actually stopped ignoring you. “y/n? you know i love you so much too right? i didn’t ever mean to make you cry, princess…” jude frowned pulling you down to him once again.
“but you did jude. i was so scared and nervous you wouldn’t talk to me because of that! you didn’t say goodbye nor a thanks, i called and you wouldn’t answer, texts straight to read! i was worried sick you wouldnt check in at all!”
jude heard you muffled out, feeling you hold him like you wanted and craved last night. jude peppered kisses onto your collarbone, “forgive me baby. i won’t ever do that again,” jude say between kisses. “ever ever ever again jude… we talk it out that’s how’s things work, okay jude?”
“and i’m sorry too. my head went to a different mind place and idk why i told you last minute when i had know the day before. i’ve been busy with the upcoming charity project it went through my head,” you apologized as well, holding his face between your hands as you placed small kisses on his cheeks, nose and temple. anywhere you had access to, feeling him smile and tug you closer to him.
“and i love you.”
“i know baby, i know. i also saw it on the note next to the minion holding the chocolates,” jude laughed making you giggle loud. “he kinda looked like you,” you joked hearing a small gasp come from jude’s mouth. “take it back!” jude says putting your against the couch and tickling your sides and neck. “never!”
“okay okay i take it back,” you say out of breath after laugh uncontrollably. jude and you never fought or argued, so holding him like this after not being able to felt like a reward. your leaned up and kissed him, sighed in delight as you felt the familiar plump lips with yours. “do i actually look like a minion,” jude said nervously, scratching the back of his head.
“yes yes you do…”

Bucky x Reader - Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever
The weekend getaway ahead loomed before Y/n like a giant shadow as she drove on the snowy backroads. Was she glad to be spending the holidays at her father’s winter cabin, of course, but was she happy to see his mysterious (and massively sexy) best friend, Bucky Barnes, not so much. The pair had been colleagues for a little while now, since Bucky had transferred to her father’s firm, and Y/n had only met him once before at her Dad’s Fourth of July barbecue earlier in the year. Fireworks had immediately flown between them when they had, causing Y/n to lock down the blooming feeling of romance quickly before it could ruin everything from her father’s perspective of his “little girl” to her own sanity. If she thought for even one second about how much she liked Bucky Barnes and truly wanted Bucky Barnes, she feared she might just crash her car.
A call came through the speaker of her vehicle then, her father Steve’s familiar voice crackling through, “Y/n?”
“Dad?” She answered with a light laugh, “Where are you right now a dungeon? Your service is awful”
“Sweetheart the snowstorm is blocking the highway, I won’t make it up to the cabin until morning, I’m gonna stay at a motel tonight…” he said, his voice sad like he hated to miss out, “It’ll just be you and Bucky for the first night, hopefully, that won't be too much trouble”
“Why would that be any trouble Dad?” Y/n’s voice sounded strained, even to her.
Her father paused, “I know you don’t like him Y/n—no don’t interrupt me—it’s okay, you don’t have to, I just hope you two can get through the night together peacefully…it is the Holidays after all”
Y/n swallowed the lump in her throat, “Alright Dad, yeah, I’ll see you in the morning”
When she finally pulled up to the snow-trimmed cabin, she wasn’t surprised to see Bucky’s luxury car parked in one of the available driveway spots.
“Hi,” she greeted once she stepped inside, her cheeks flushed from the crisp December cold and her arms full of wrapped gifts.
“Let me help you with those” Bucky instantly offered, rushing over to her, their fingers brushing as he took some of the tissue-stuffed bags from her cramped hands and took them over to the tree.
His eyes flicked to hers and she could’ve sworn she saw his own cheeks tint slightly red above his scruffy beard.
“How was your drive?” He questioned after they’d arranged them, making easy conversation.
“Not too bad, well better than Dad’s anyway” she winced slightly before breaking the news, “He’s blocked by the storm, won’t be here until tomorrow morning…it’s just us tonight”
“You don’t seem so happy about that” Bucky cocked his head.
“Bucky…” she hesitated.
“I knew it” he breathed, almost to himself, “I knew you lik—“
“I need to take a work call” she blurted, interrupting whatever he was about to say.
Y/n practically skidded out of the living room and down the hall to the room she’d be staying in for the weekend, that she’d been staying in all her life. Her Dad had luckily switched out her old twin bed for a queen a couple of years ago but that didn’t erase the memories she had here. The colourful quilt laid over the sheets, the rocking chair in the corner. Each element of the space was a comfort to her, especially now as her heart threatened to beat right out of her chest.
“Fuck” she groaned to herself.
~ an hour or two later ~
Snow was piling up outside as Y/n stewed in her bedroom, mulling over the situation she’d somehow found herself in. She liked Bucky and was stuck with him for the night but almost worse than that was the fact that he knew she liked him. Her groaning into her pillow was cut off by a small knock on her door.
“Yes?” She croaked.
“I’m making hot chocolate…” Bucky’s hesitant voice sounded through the wooden door, “I won’t bother you tonight if you don’t want but I just thought I’d ask”
With a sigh, she walked over the door, opening it to find Bucky in a slightly distressed t-shirt and light grey sweatpants that hugged him perfectly in all the right places. She gulped, startled as she realized she was literally eye-fucking him instead of answering his innocent question.
“Sure, I’d like some. Thank you”
Following him into the kitchen, she found her gaze trailed from his toned figure to the wintery scene outside. The snow was packed almost halfway up the window, no doubt blocking the front door too.
“Guess we’re stuck inside whether we like it or not” Y/n sighed with a small smile that she simply couldn’t help, causing Bucky to chuckle and shoot her a quizzical look.
“Yeah” he replied easily, after pouring the hot liquid into two cups, “Here”
“Thank you, Bucky”
“Oh, no problem” he replied and Y/n swore she saw him blush again.
They sipped on their hot chocolate, slowly draining the mugs in companionable silence. After a while, she attempted to break it.
“How’s work?” she tried, grimacing at how awkward the question sounded.
“You don’t really want to ask me about work Y/n” he stated plainly with a small sigh, the heated look in his eye deceivingly telling her exactly what he meant.
“Bucky…” she strained, setting her mug down.
“You keep saying my name but never in the way I’d like you to” he came toward her, his large frame instantly consuming the small space of the cabin’s kitchen, “I know you want me Y/n and I’m sure you can see I want you…”
Her eyes flicked down to his crotch, a small moan slipping out of her mouth at the sight of his hard cock in his cozy sweatpants.
“Stop worrying about what your Dad might do and kiss me” he challenged, putting it all out there. Her surprise must have been evident on her face because Bucky backed off immediately, “Unless that’s not what you want”
His sweet hesitance was all it took for Y/n to practically throw herself at him, cutting his words off with a passionate kiss that melted instantly from incredibly heated to perfectly warm like their mugs of steaming hot chocolate. As they kissed, with Y/n’s small groans and whines puncturing each break, Bucky’s hands felt up and down her sides making her skin tingle with need.
“Can I touch you?” He asked before gripping her hips harder and backing her toward the counter’s edge, “And please say I can taste you…”
“Yes, please Bucky, yes”
He lifted her easily onto the flat surface, shoving boxes of cereal and bags of marshmallows out of the way, until her ass was fully seated on the counter. She pushed herself up slightly so that he could slip off her pants and her panties, moaning as his cold hands slid down her thighs. He sunk to his knees before her, gazing up at her like she was a golden star on top of the Christmas Tree. His beard tickled her legs as he worked his way up, kissing her calf, the inside of her knee, and her inner thighs.
“Be good and spread your legs for me, yeah, let me see that pretty pussy” he hummed at the sight of her as she obeyed.
He came forward and kissed her clit gently before rubbing the sensitive area with a single finger. He paused, looking up at her from his spot between her thighs, admiring her flushed cheeks and wide eyes. She whined at the loss of contact.
“You know what I want Y/n?” he cocked his head, pulling away and sitting back on his tucked legs below her before saying in an encouraging yet dark tone, “I want to see you rub yourself for me…Go on”
She spit onto her fingers and began to rub her clit, using them to please herself. Her eyes met his as she caressed around and around her sensitivity, a quiet whimper slipping out of her lips at the sight of his darkening gaze focused all on her. The building feeling made her sigh and throw her head back, a dull thud sounding as it hit the upper cabinet behind her.
“What if I help you out a little bit huh?” Bucky groaned as if he couldn’t resist touching her.
“Yes” she moaned, “Bucky pleas—“
Her words were cut off by the feeling of his two longest fingers pressing at her wet hole. Her pussy practically gushed around him as he entered her, only pushing halfway. His teasing fingers grazed her insides, curling up inside of her.
“Keep rubbing your clit baby” he guided her hand back down.
She obeyed, quickly becoming overwhelmed with the pleasure they were creating for her together. His curling fingers, her fierce rubbing at her clit…she was overcome with intense sensation. Using her other hand she trailed up her chest, acutely aware of Bucky’s eyes following her motion, pinching her nipples in turn until they hardened into two stiff peaks.
“Good girl” he praised before asking, “You want my mouth?”
Her small nod was all he needed to push her hand off of her clit and lap harshly at it, never once removing his fingers from her hole. His attack on her pussy was intense and erotic to watch, the sight of him eating her out turning her on almost as much as the actual feelings. Y/n’s thighs caged his head between her legs, her knees moving to sit behind his head, feet resting on his back as he pleased her with his rough, wet tongue.
“Oh fuck” she whispered, her hands gripping his curls tightly as he found the perfect spot.
“There?” he questioned, his words muffled as he sucked her clit, lapping at it.
“Yes, fucking yes”
He chuckled, cool air making her shiver before continuing, licking at the same spot, not right on her clit but slightly to the side, a spot that was nearly as sensitive and pleasurable, until her body gave out and she burst all over his tongue. His large hands supported her thighs from below, hooking his arms over them, pulling her pussy to his mouth as she rode out the waves of her release.
“Good girl, good fucking girl” he grumbled.
Moving quicker than a flash, he lifted her up and took her out of the kitchen, leading them all the way to her bedroom. As they moved through the house, Y/n attacked his neck, wet sloppy kisses peppering his tanned skin. He pushed the door to her room open with his side, being careful not to hurt her, before throwing her down on the bed. He stood at the edge, towering over her. Bending over her, his beard tickled her cheek as he continued his trail of kisses on her neck. With gentle pecks he made his way to her jaw, down her to her chest, satisfying the need of her nipples.
“Flip around for me doll” he commanded then, praising her when she complied, “Yeah that’s it, good girl”
SMACK. A small spank on her ass cheek made her whimper, the feeling hurting slightly but in the best way.
“You want it?” Bucky asked, confirming her consent as he pumped himself behind her.
“Yes,” she whimpered, her voice breathy and full of need.
“Yes, who?” His tone instantly darkened.
“Yes Daddy” she whispered like a secret.
SMACK.
“Say it like you mean it Y/n” he chuckled roughly, “Like the good little slut I know you are”
“Yes Dadd—“
Her words were cut off by the loud moan that escaped her lips as Bucky pushed into her, pressing the first few inches of him into her wet pussy. She gripped him tightly as her body adjusted to the sensation. He pressed and pressed and pressed until finally, he bottomed out within her.
“Fuck you fit me so well”
Bucky’s cock hit a spot deep within her that felt like nothing she’d ever felt before. Her back arched, shoving her ass back into him, making him hit even further inside. His grin was feral as she bounced onto him, her instant rocking movements pleasuring them both.
“So good Y/n,” he praised, grunting, “Yeah, push back on me baby…Fuck this ass is perfect”
SMACK.
The pain heated her skin as did the feeling of his eyes on her. She wasn’t even looking at him but she could physically feel the weight of his dark gaze. Grinding back onto him she whimpered and whined, her pussy tightening around him more and more by the second.
Y/n yelped as she was flipped easily over onto her back. Before she could even get her bearings, Bucky’s thumb was instantly on her clit, rubbing that spot that made her see stars. If she thought she was clenching around him before she surely was now. Between Bucky thrusting in and out of her and his fingers on her sensitive clit, her senses were going into overdrive.
“Fuck” she whined, overwhelmed by the feeling, “You’re fucking me so good”
Burying his head in the crook of her neck, Bucky moaned roughly, his gruff noises making her wetter and wetter. She writhed beneath him, her body responding to every way he was pleasing her. As she approached her orgasm though, he switched his pace, thrusting slowly, powerfully, and deeply, causing her to tense up around his hard cock. She gripped him so tightly she thought she might just push him out of her by accident.
“So tight for me—yes, taking every fucking inch like a good little slut”
“Yes, Daddy, yes” she moaned as he sucked at her skin.
“You’ve been driving me crazy for so long” he confessed, whispering in her ear, “Ever since—fuck— that fucking Fourth of July party, I’ve wanted to feel you, to be in you just like this…”
Her eyes widened at his reveal but she was so overwhelmed by the feeling that she could barely speak, she simply whined in response, meeting his assessing gaze as she arched beneath him. The feeling struck her body then, causing her to jerk forward. Bucky held her hips, continuing to thrust in and out of her with long strokes, fucking her completely through her orgasm.
“Yeah that’s it baby, cum for me”
Y/n gripped his broad shoulders, holding him to her chest as he thrust through her orgasm, bringing on his own. He ground into her as he chased his own release, her hot pussy finally sending him over the edge.
“Fuck” she swore, catching her breath as Bucky rolled off of her.
“Fuck is right” he chuckled.
She could swear she saw a tint of red on his scruffy cheeks.
“You really liked me since then? Since the Fourth of July?”
“Yes,” he admitted, bowing his head.
She rolled back onto him, planting a sweet kiss on his jaw, then his cheek, then finally on his perfect pout.
“Talk about fireworks huh?” She joked, making them both shake with laughter.

"Birthday Blues and a Matchmaking Hughes" - Luke Hughes x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: The birthday boy's otherwise not-so-fun night quickly changes for the better when his drunk brother decides it's time for shots.
A/N: I couldn't not do anything for Pookie's birthday, so here's a 2,5K words fic I wrote faster than any English assignment I've ever had to write! A small disclaimer, it's 2am here, so if this sucks, let's blame it on that, shall we?
________________________________________
Whoever thought everyone enjoyed being the centre of attention on their birthday had never met Luke Hughes. Sure, seeing all of his friends and a few members of his family wasn’t all bad. It was usually something Luke enjoyed a great deal. Just not quite when they made a big spectacle about him and the fact that it was his day. He would also have liked to have known about the surprise party his brothers had arranged for him, which, granted would have ruined the surprise, but at least he would have had the chance to prepare himself for…this.
This being the packed Ann Arbor bar, the sparkly party hat Jack had (forcefully) placed on his head, the giant cake with his face on it and the corona placed in his hand that he technically couldn’t drink yet (nor particularly liked).
All in all, Luke wasn’t having the very best of nights, something that was evident on his face when you spotted him from across the room leaning up against the wall with the still-full beer in his hand and the grimace he usually reserved for your shared finance class making an appearance.
Apart from said class, Luke Hughes and you had never been the best of friends. Not that you hated each other or anything like that, no, the two of you had simply never talked all that much (apart from that one time he spilt his coffee on you, but that’s a story for another time). Usually, Luke decided to practically become mute whenever you seemed to be near him, but you had always chalked it up to him being an introvert and not the most talkative with people he didn’t know well.
So, you’re not quite sure if it’s the two tequila shots you did with your roommate before she dragged you here after the football game or simply because you’ve been bored out of your mind since she left you to go make out with some guy, but either way, you decide to try your luck at getting a smile out of the tall boy.
It would be your birthday present to him, you tell yourself as you push through the crowd trying to reach him.
You do not make it very far, though, as just before you get within speaking distance of him, a very drunk (and very heavy) Jack Hughes decides to throw his arm around you and lean most of his weight on your shoulders.
“Y/n! It’s SO nice to meet you!” Jack’s voice booms in your ear, making you wince and your brows furrow in confusion.
How did he know your name? As far as you knew, you had never met anyone, apart from Luke and his friends, who knew Jack and who would want to introduce the two of you.
“It is?”
“Of course! Moose talks about you all the time!” He explains, like that would clue you in. Only, it doesn't. You don't know anyone named Moose and certainly not someone who knows Jack.
“Who’s Moose?”
“We should do shots!” Jack yells, completely overhearing your question and dragging you towards the bar, quickly ordering four shots with a name that didn’t give you the best first impression, then holding his pointer finger up as if two say one sec, and tell you a quick “stay here”.
So you do, because saying no and walking off seems like the boring option, and you also do kind of want to see who the other two shots were for.
What you do not expect, though, is for Jack to come back with none other than his two brothers.
“Y/n, this is Quinn, Quinn, this is the Y/n.”
At Jack's insinuation, Quinn’s once annoyed expression from being dragged away from whatever he was doing changes and his face lights up, his hand shooting out to shake yours and shoot a teasing grin in Luke’s direction.
“You of course already know Lukey here,” Jack continues, smoothly stepping behind you and over to the other side so Luke and you are now standing next to each other instead.
Looking up, you shoot him a soft smile, your eyes briefly landing on the hat he’s wearing and then back down to his face.
“Happy Birthday!”
Luke’s eyes widen, his hand quickly coming up to remove the silly hat from his head and hide it behind his back. A slight blush paints his cheeks as he mumbles a quick "thank you", eyes never quite meeting yours.
Your little moment is broken by Jack shoving the shots into your hands. Before you even manage to lift the tiny glass, the two oldest Hughes brothers down their liquor and disappear from your line of sight, almost like they’ve been practising this.
“Assholes.” Luke sighs, and you instantly feel bad. Of course, he doesn't want to be left standing alone with you on his birthday, you barely know each other.
“You don’t have to drink that if you don’t want to,” He points to the glass you're clutching in your hand.
“I-“ You don’t get to finish, as the liquid once in Luke’s glass is now all over your chest. The blue Michigan tube top you’re wearing begins to cling to your skin, most of the fabric now soaked.
“Shit, I’m so sorry, someone...um... bumped into me and-“
“If you want to do body shots you could have just asked,” you tease him, interrupting his rant and trying to lift his mood all the same.
“No! I don’t! I mean, not like that. I definitely wouldn’t mind, but it was not my intention. I mean, not that we should, I mean-“
“Luke, I’m kidding,” you say, laying a hand on his arm and forcing him to look at you. Your eyes lock and you’re pretty sure this is the first time you have gotten the chance to even notice his eye colour.
“I have a spare shirt in my car?”
You nod and take the hand he's holding out for you, following him through the crowd and using him as a human shield against the drunk and horny college students. Not once does he let go, his grip tight and constant, until he pushes the doors into the street open, holding it for you and shifting his hand from yours onto your back. The cool night air hits your face, an instant and welcome change from the heavy air inside the bar.
“’s just parked a few cars down,” he motions with his free hand, looking down at you to check you’re okay, and then as if realising something, quickly manoeuvres you so he’s walking closest to the road. True to his word, Luke pauses a few seconds later in front of a black Range Rover.
He opens the trunk and digs through what appears to be a gym bag before reaching out towards you, a plain black t-shirt in his hand.
Gratefully, you accept it.
“Um…” you trail off, awkwardness overtaking the once comfortable silence.
“Oh! right,” Luke catches on to your meaning, turning around and giving you some resemblance of privacy to change.
Moving quickly, you pull your wet shirt over your head and replace it with Luke's, the smell of his cologne, of him, engulfing your senses.
“You can turn around.”
He does, looks you over and closes his eyes, a soft curse slipping from his lips before he opens them again.
“Are you having a good night?”
“We should probably head back inside,” he says, at the same time you ask the question that’s been on the tip of your tongue since you saw him looking miserable against the wall.
At your inquiry, he seems to think for a moment, before sighing and shaking his head.
“I don’t want to sound ungrateful. I just… It’s not what I saw myself doing on my birthday.”
“What did you see yourself doing?” you ask, hoping it’s something within the possibilities of doing now.
“Probably just have a quiet dinner with my family and then some ice cream or something. Sound lame, I know” he chuckles at himself, as if thinking you’d be thinking he was exactly that.
You don’t of course, but an idea does pop into your head.
“It’s probably a little too late for dinner, but I know this great ice cream place not far from here?” you finally accomplish your mission, Luke’s face breaking into a crooked smile and damn if that doesn’t make him look even cuter than before.
“Lead the way,” he says and it’s your turn to reach out your hand, pulling him along the streets of Ann Arbor, talking and joking and laughing about anything and nothing the entire way.
Not long after, you stand with two scoops of your favourite ice cream in hand, Luke is just about to pay, when the sound of some country song blares through his phone speakers.
“Can you check who that is?” he asks, motioning for you to grab his phone, making you realise it's his ringtone.
Hesitantly, you slip your fingers into his pocket, so very careful not to accidentally cop a feel, and retrieve the phone. You look at the caller ID, then show him that it’s Jack who’s interrupting you guys' peace,
“Answer it?” he asks, a small smile on his face as he finishes counting his cash and hands it to the ice cream lady who took your order.
You do as asked, Jack’s voice and the loud music of the bar spilling through the speakers
“Moosey! Where the hell are you?”
“Getting ice cream with Y/N,” Luke says with an implied duh like Jack really should have known.
“Nice!”
“Use protection!” someone else yells and Jack immediately agrees with the statement of who you assume to be Quinn.
 “For ice cream eating?”
“You know what we mean, bye!”
Luke rolls his eyes as you both watch Jack end the call. You hand Luke his phone, then freeze as the conversation catches up to you.
“You’re moose?” Luke walks a few steps down the street, then stops when he realises you're not next to him and shuffles back.
“Yeah, stupid childhood nickname, but it’s stuck now, I guess,” Luke shrugs and takes a bite of his ice cream like it's no big deal at all.
To you it is, though, because if Luke is moose, then that means;
“You talk about me all the time?” Now it’s Luke’s turn to freeze mid-bite.
“Um. who told you that? never mind, it was Jack, right?” You nod, gears turning in your head as you lean back against the wall next to the ice cream shop.
“But… you’ve never talked to me. why would you be talking about me? Oh no, it’s not anything bad, right? Did I do anything?” You begin to panic, hoping the boy you’ve had a crush on since that fateful day you walked into your first class of the semester and saw him, doesn’t think you’re a complete weirdo.
Luke’s cheeks turn red for the second time this evening, his free hand moving to his neck.
“I never knew what to say to you. It scared me,” he mumbles, looking like he's competing in a staring contest with the crack in the pavement.
 “I scared you?”
“No, no! You’re just so gorgeous and smart and funny and I always felt like whatever I wanted to say to you would sound idiotic and… yeah...” he trails off, looking everywhere but at you.
“Hey,” you softly say, reaching out to pull him closer by his shirt. He complies, moving so he’s standing in front of you.
“It’s been going pretty well tonight” You grin up at him as he finally dares to look at you. It feels like a win every single time.
“It has?”
You laugh and he smiles, stepping impossibly closer. One step further and he’ll have you fully trapped between the wall and him, not that you’d mind.
Luke’s free hand finds your cheek and something tells you that your words have made him bolder. Especially since he’s not backing down from the eye contact now, his tongue darting out to lick his lips and yours subconsciously doing the same.
You’re not quite sure if it’s you or him that leans in first, maybe it’s both, but neither do you care all that much the second his lips touch yours. He tastes like the chocolate ice cream he’s been eating and a little bit like beer. A thousand tiny explosions go off in your chest as he kisses you, lips moving in sync and your noses brushing ever so slightly. It's soft and sweet and passionate all in one, sharing the emotions you've both been holding onto in a kiss.
The grip you have on his shirt tightens and he presses fully against you as his tongue swipes against your bottom lip, begging for entrance which you can't resist allowing.
Your arms move to wrap around his neck, making your ice cream drop in the process and land on the ground. It's the furthest thing from your mind, which has entirely been consumed by Luke and his kisses by now.
That is, at least, until Luke’s hand comes to rest on your waist and you jump at the feel of something cold running down your leg.
“Luke,” you mumble against his lips and he hums, squeezes your waist and continues to kiss you.
“Luke,” you try again, giggling slightly this time whilst pulling away. Luke groans in frustration but complies, leaning back to look at your face, a slightly dazed look on his.
“I think you spilled something on me. again,” you say with a smile as you motion down to the ice cream on your leg. At the sight, Luke lets out a sound halfway between a laugh and an embarrassed squeak and buries his head in the crook of your neck. He wraps his arms around you, hugging you to him while the sound of your laughter fills the air.
“Is this some weird flirting thing of yours?” You snicker, enjoying the way he’s squirming.
“The coffee one was,” he mumbles into your neck, making you laugh even harder.
“Thought it’d give me an opening to talk to you,” he explains as you run your fingers through his hair, nonverbally assuring him you’re not mad or put off in the slightest.
“Third time the charm, I guess.” He lifts his head, a crooked smile making an appearance but just as quickly turning into a crooked smirk.
“Technically the second time's the charm. The shot got you to follow me to my car, didn’t it?”
“Oh my god! I knew no one bumped into you!” He laughs, not even the least sorry he’s been caught, the sound making you unable to resist pulling his lips back to yours.
Safe to say, Luke's birthday had been improving by the seconds, since his brother had decided to play matchmaker.

Warnings : NSFW Oneshot of a head cannon I made. Smut with a dialogue.
Minor dni
Giyuu Tomioka x Hashira f!reader
Summary : The topic surfs up about your boyfriend Giyu being a virgin, even though the other hashira’s didn’t know his past. You began to have flashbacks about what it’s like to be in bed with him.
Notes : This was requested by someone but it won’t let me tag them. Sorry it took so long to write this, i was being lazy. I’m also really bad a writing smut so let me know if there are any problems. There was another person who also requested: @lakainamelolita
I don’t proofread fyi
You and Giyuu had a private relationship, it wasn’t because the both of you were scared of people finding out, but because it was better and easier that way.
The other hashira’s knew you two were close friends, but it never crossed their minds that you two were together romantically. Even though it was quite obvious the only person who thought you two were in a relationship was Sanemi. He shot his own thought down when he looked at Giyuu and then at you and said to himself “nah she’s not that stupid to date an idiot like that guy.”
How you guys started the relationship was weird, you two were strictly just friends with obvious feelings for eachother. Until one night out together you guys returned to your mansion drunk, and one thing lead to another and y’all had sex in one of the many rooms.
Both of you remember that night exactly from how it started to how it ended, that being your first time it was the best sex you’ve ever had. He was so gentle with you but yet still had you crying.
You assumed because you were close friends, it would be awkward so you started avoiding him. While you were working out one day he came to ask you why you were avoiding him and you being confused asked if he didn’t think it was awkward and he said no. So then boom friends again, then about 2 weeks after bloomed a relationship.
There was the annual Hashira gathering, this wasn’t a fancy event or anything it was just a usual thing you guys do just to keep up with eachother. You guys were just a big ol family that just stayed in eachothers lives.
While chatting, Tengen got the question about how sex works with his 3 wives. Does each girl get their own moment or is it just a foursome?
That question brought up a sex topic amongst the hashira’s just telling out their business because there isn’t a personal bubble around them. ( discluding Muichiro for obvious reasons.)
When Shinobu started talking she called out the fact that Giyuu has been quiet the entire time, then started saying “Are you quiet because you’re a virgin?” thus bringing about her calling him “Giyuu the virgin.”
Giyuu didn’t say anything, he just shook his head. As they were laughing about Giyuu being the only Virgin amongst them you started getting flashbacks.
When you and Giyuu were just friends, he told you about his back story. He was a quiet guy, but getting girls in bed was like a second nature to him. He told you about all his sexual experiences, the good ones and the bad ones. You were flabbergasted to find out this side to him. That proving the point “it’s always the quiet guys.”
He was such a slut and it wasn’t obvious until you were one of the girls to be in bed with him.
The day that you two made it official he swore on his life that no one will get in the middle of this relationship. You were the only girl he’s been interested in ever since he first met you. You were his dream girl and so very perfect for him. He even slit his wrist as his own way as a pinky promise. He didn’t know why he did it he just did for some reason.
That same night he wanted to prove to you that you had all of him. And he knew the best way to prove that. He initiated the first move, you knew what he wanted when he was kissing you and he started pushing you more into the bed than you already were.
Next thing you new he was taking off yours and his kimono. The first round he was simply making love to you, he was being gentle and he finger prepped to make sure you had no pain on your end. He slowly pushed himself in to make sure that you had time to adjust to his length and thickness.
His pace was slow but harsh, each thrust were hitting all the right spots so perfectly. The first round he was fucking you so lovingly. He had your fingers intertwined with his as he had your hands above your head. When you reached your orgasm he made sure to give you some time before he reached his own orgasm. Pulling out then cuming on your belly.
He caught you off guard when he used his fingers to scoop up his cum off your belly, then sticking it in your mouth. What caught you even more off guard is when he started pushing both of your legs to your chest hinting that there was going to be another round.
This time without warning he just penetrated you and you let out a little squeal at the sudden sensation. This time his thrusts weren’t slow, they were fast and rough. But because of the position you were in you couldn’t hear the sound of skin slapping, but there was definitely a sound.
His new pace had your head thrown all the way back and you gripping into the sheets. Your orgasm came faster than it did before, your eyes tearing up and sending you into a haze because you were already sensitive from your first orgasm.
when his came he once again came on your belly then scooped it up and stuck it in your mouth.
He randomly flipped you over on your hands and knees, arching your back and forcing your face into the pillow. He forcefully pushed himself into your hole this time and that got a loud moan from you. His pace was somehow faster than his pace from the second round.
This time you can hear the sound of skin slapping, he was so focused on making you feel good he didn’t even realize how much he was digging into the skin of your ass. Letting out small grunts as he watched you tear apart before him. It turned him on so much he started to pick up the pace.
You were like jelly in the palm of his hands, you were trying to tell him to slow down but you couldn’t make out full sentences. You started to cry at all the pleasure and then the pain when your orgasm started to arise. This was the third orgasm i’m the row and it was starting to hurt because you were so sensitive.
The sex was so good but it was the orgasm that had you crying beneath him. When you came you had blacked out for a second and then came back to reality when he asked for permission to cum inside of you.
This time you told him yes, and that he did. After both of you collapsed and you snuggled up next to him as he apologized and started kissing your forehead.
You said that the both of you should go and shower together and he agreed. The beginning of the shower was just a normal couples shower, until one thing happened and then another then a 4th round became in that shower.
You snapped out of your thoughts, clearing the flash back you just had when Giyuu touched your thigh. “You okay?” he was a tiny bit concerned on why you all of a sudden got so quiet.
You shook your head yes, but you had the reason for the quietness written all over your face. He couldn’t help but give you a small smirk.
He was happy to know that you knew who he really was and you being the only person in the room who’s got to experience it.

Fighting
Tumblr media
Pairing: Mason Mount x Reader
Summary: Reader and Mason have a big fight because of their own day-to-day problems. But quickly they realise they can't live without one another.
Word count: 3684
Author’s note: English isn’t my first language, so I apologise for my mistakes.
If you ever go to pieces Fall between thе thunder clouds I will put you back together, I won't let you down
It was rare to happen. You could count the times you fought with Mason with only one hand and didn't need the five fingers to do it.
It was the stress from both parties, but both of you were stubborn to apologize first. He was stressed about the fact that he wasn't playing like he used to and the fact that he was not part of the England squad only made things worse. Your workload increased significantly when one of your colleagues quit, and your boss decided not to hire anyone new, but to give you all their work instead.
The argument between you and Mason had been brewing for a while, but you both tried to ignore it and carry on with your day-to-day lives. However, as the tension built up, it eventually reached a boiling point. You can't quite recall how it all started, but you vividly remember the moment when both of your tempers reached their peak, and everything exploded. Eventually, unable to take it anymore, you stormed out of the house, leaving Mason behind.
"Can I stay here tonight?" You asked your best friend when she opened her apartment door. You were feeling super cold, forgetting to take your coat when you slammed the door of the house you shared with Mason.
"What-- of course you can. You don't need to ask." She quickly pulled you inside. She wrapped her arms around you, feeling the dampness of your sweater. It was clear that you had been crying, but she didn't ask any questions.
You collapsed onto the sofa, and she handed you her warmest blanket. You stared at the TV, which was playing a random movie, and a tear streamed down your face.
Eva left you alone for a moment, but returned with a hot chocolate and your favorite cookies. She placed them down on the coffee table and you sat up, wrapped up in the grey blanket. "Mason and I had a fight."
"Ryan left his baseball bat in my car." You laughed at her words. "I can break his legs."
"Don't say that, you stupid." She handed you the hot mug and you took a sip.
"Was it serious?"
"We said some hurtful things to each other, yes." You swallowed the lump in your throat. "I told him I wish I had never met him." Your best friend opened her mouth in surprise. "He told me he wished he had never asked me to be his girlfriend. And more things like that."
"I can't believe him! I told him I would kill him if he hurt you."
"Guess we're both going to die then. You're murdering him and his friends will murder me."
She grabbed the cookies and made you eat one when you told her you weren't hungry.
"Did you break up?" It was the million-one dollar question. Did you?
"I don't know! I don't think so. At least I didn't break up with him. I love him too much to do that." You looked at the ceiling and cleaned the tears that were starting to fall again. "I just need some space from him right now."
She sat down next to you and you placed your head on her lap. "You can stay here as long as you want."
"What about Ryan?"
"What about him? He loves you just as much as I do. You don't need to worry about him. It's going to be okay."
After hours had passed and you still hadn't returned, Mason began to feel anxious. Though he was still upset with you - and with himself - he didn't want anything bad to happen to you. He grabbed his phone, intending to call you, but he didn't know what to say. Instead, he decided to text your best friend.
Mason: Hey Eva, have you talked with Y/a these past few hours?
Eva: She's staying with me. Good night Mason."
The answer was cold and he knew she wasn't happy with him. He had hurt her best friend.
He knew she was safe, so he turned off the TV and went to bed alone. However, he found it challenging to fall asleep in the large, empty bed. It smelled of your perfume, and he couldn't seem to get warm even with multiple layers on top.
After a minute or two, he sat up, grabbed his phone from the nightstand and texted you. He just needed to be sure.
Mason: Please, just tell me we didn't break up. This can't be our last conversation.
He let out a sigh and fell back on the bed. Two minutes later you answered him.
Y/a: No, we didn't break up! But I think we need some time apart from each other. Good night Mason.
Three weeks had gone by and you and Mason were still not talking. You were staying with Eva and Ryan, and the only time you went back to the house was to get some clothes when you knew Mason wouldn't be there.
Mason was putting all his effort into football but you were always on his mind. You were the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night.
It was the worst fight you ever had and the longest time you had been without speaking with each other and both of you were miserable but too stubborn to apologize first.
After a successful practice, Mason drove away. Without realizing it, 15 minutes later he parked in front of your workplace. He thought that perhaps if he saw you, he would take the courage to finally apologize for all the horrible things he had said to you. However, when he noticed that all your coworkers had left and you didn't, he started to worry.
He got out of the car when he saw one of your coworkers leaving the building, looking for something in her bag.
"Beatrix?" The woman looked back and smiled at him.
"Mason! So good to see you." They hugged. "What are you doing here?"
"I was waiting for Y/a! Is she still inside?" She looked at him confused. "What?"
"I mean-- don't you know?"
"Know what?"
"Y/a doesn't work with us anymore." Mason couldn't believe what he was hearing. "She quit three days ago."
It was still early in the morning, the sky was clean and the sun was shining. Living in Manchester, you didn't know how long the weather was going to stay like that, so with the free time you had since you decided to quit your job, you decided to run around the park.
You were listening to your new favourite song when a call interrupted it. You stopped and saw Mason's sister's name on the screen.
"Hello?"
"Wow, you okay? You sound tired." You laughed and sat down on the empty old bench.
"I decided to get back at running. I had the time so I thought why not."
"Weren't you supposed to be working?"
"Uhh… I quit." Jaz sounded surprised on the other end of the phone. "It was just messing with my head. It became too much so I quit."
"I'm sorry Y/a. Mason didn't meantion anthing." Because he doesn't know. You were talking about how life was going until she reminded you, "So, we're leaving after lunch. Do you want to meet at the stadium or at the house?"
You took a minute to understand. "What?"
"The game, remember? We're driving up to watch the game and spend the weekend."
You had completely forgotten about the game. During your conversation with Jaz, you could sense that Mason hadn't mentioned anything about the fight and that left you wondering what he would say to them when they arrived and realized that you weren't talking. Maybe that was a sign to finally step forward and talk to him. Apologize.
Just like you, Mason had also forgotten that his family was coming over. He hadn't told them about the fight and he didn't know what he would say when someone asked about you. But when his sister sent him a photo of you holding his niece in a warm and lovely hug before the game, he felt his heart melting and a lot of tension leaving his body. Along with the photo, his sister made sure to let him know that she was aware of the fight.
Jaz: Just wanted to give you a heads-up, she's here and she's got your name on her T-shirt, although is not visible. Good luck! We're all rooting for you. And don't worry, she'll wait for you.
The game ended with a great performance from Mason and a win for United. It was the first time he felt like his old self again and he wanted to believe it was all because of you. He always played at his best when he knew you were in the stadium.
As soon as he stepped into the VIP box, he scanned the room for you, but his niece caught him off guard.
"Uncle Mase!" She ran toward him and Mason picked her up, planting a kiss on her cheek while she wrapped her small arms around his neck.
"My favourite person! Hello, bug." His eyes fell on you and he didn't know if it was his imagination or the fact that he hadn't seen you in two weeks, but you looked skinnier. But you looked as beautiful as always.
You were standing at the back, watching Mason greet his family. You felt shy and awkward, which made you hate the feeling even more. All you wanted was to go back to how things used to be. You haven't slept well in two weeks and Mason looked exactly the same.
It was no secret that Summer enjoyed seeing you and Mason together, as she had grown up seeing the two of you together, so it was no surprise that when he placed her down, she grabbed Mason's hand and pulled him toward you.
"Look! We are wearing the same clothes." She sounded excited, showing her uncle the matching United t-shirts. "To support you."
"I can see that, bug. I played well, thanks to both of you." He kissed her head and looked at you. "So, thank you!"
"Summer, let's meet the other players! There are some we haven't met yet. Come on." The little girl ran toward her mother and they all left you and Mason alone, making the room suddenly feel smaller "We'll wait downstairs." She said, closing the door behind her.
"Hi!" His voice was gentle like he was afraid to say something. "How have you been?"
It felt like it was the first time you were talking to each other all over again.
"I'm good. What about you? Good game! Congratulations"
"Thanks. I'm good. We needed this win." He scratched the back of his neck and looked around. One thing was for sure, he hadn't missed those nervous butterflies in his stomach. He felt like a little boy. "Didn't expect to see you here."
"I'm not going to stop supporting you just because we're on a break."
He felt his heart stop but at the same time, it melted for the fact that you still cared. "So is that what we are doing? We're on a break?"
He looked at you, but you looked away. You were always shy when it came to eye contact, and Mason's eyes were one of your weaknesses. "I-- After what we said to each other, I think we needed it."
"I didn't mean anything of that." He quickly said. "I hope you know that."
"I know and I didn't mean it either, but we both have problems that we need to learn how to leave outside the house."
"I heard you quit your job."
You looked at him surprised. "How do you know that?"
"I was waiting for you one of these days and Beatrix told me." He took a step closer. "I'm sorry that I didn't realise you were suffering so much in that workplace. I was so focused on football, that I forgot to actually pay attention to what is important. You!" Your heart started beating faster. Mason was always good with words. He always knew what to say to make you fall in love a little more every day. "I miss you." He said, placing a strand of hair behind your ear. "You're the most important person in my life and living without you has been the worst thing ever."
"Is not your fault. You have your problems too and I didn't pay attention to them either. We're both at fault." You both looked at each other.
He still had his hand on the strand of hair he had tucked behind your ear while he gazed at your lips. The air was thick with tension, and all you craved was to wrap your arms around his neck, pull him close and kiss him passionately.
"We s-- we should go down." You said, clearing your throat. "Your family is waiting."
You took a step back to walk toward the door, but Mason quickly and gently grabbed your wrist. "Will you come home with us?"
"Mase..."
"Please! If at the end of the night, you still want to go to Eva's, I'll drive you there. But please, just come home today." He didn't need to beg, but he continued. "Summer would love to spend time with you. I want to spend time with you."
"Okay. I'll go." He smiled.
You were at home, in yours and Mason's house, feeling happy once again. You were sitting on the floor, helping Summer with a puzzle, after Mason's mom expelled you from the kitchen. Meanwhile, Mason and his sister sat down on the couch to watch a random movie their brother had put on.
"She's so good with her!" His sister said.
"Yes, she is." He looked at you, seeing you laugh at something his niece had said. "I think I fucked up."
"If you had fucked up, she wouldn't be here."
"We said some really bad things to each other."
"But neither of you meant it. And she knows that." She put her hand over his shoulder. "She loves you very much, everyone can see that. And you love her. You just need to show her that."
"Yes. I can't lose her."
"You won't."
After dinner, and some embarrassing stories from his parents, Mason picked a festive Christmas movie and made some popcorn, which his niece and brother ate the most.
You were lying on the big coach next to Mason, who had his feet on the coffee table, with Summer lying against you, when you felt your eyes getting heavier. You hadn't been sleeping well and now that you were comfortable with Mason and his family, the sleep was taking over you.
Mason had his hoodie on when he felt his brother hit his head. "Ouch! What the hell?" He looked at his brother and saw him pointing at you. Next to him, he saw you sleeping, cuddling his niece against your chest, while the little girl watched the movie attentively.
"The movie is finishing. Why don't you take her to bed?" His mom said and just like that, the movie credits rolled up, making Summer move in your arms.
You opened your eyes and saw everybody stand up. You had fallen asleep.
"You should go to bed." Mason said when you sat up. When he saw your expression, he added, "I'll sleep on the couch, don't worry."
But you weren't worried about that. Actually, you wanted to sleep next to him. You wanted to fall asleep next to him and have his warm arms around you. So when his niece jumped on his arms and asked him the question, you had to control yourself not to smile.
"Can I sleep in your bed with you and Auntie Y/a?" Everybody in the room tried not to laugh, while Mason became red in embarrassment and nervousness.
"I-- I'm not-- why don't you..."
"Of course you can sweetie!" You said, surprising Mason. The little girl jumped from his lap in happiness.
Jaz kissed her forehead. "Be a good girl and don't keep them up, okay?" She nodded and hugged her father's leg.
Saying goodnight to everyone, Mason carried the little girl as you three went upstairs to the bedroom.
It was clean and tidy just like the day you had left.
You grabbed one of your pyjamas and went to the bathroom to change. You brush your teeth and change into your pyjamas, as you hear Mason's and Summer's laugh from the bedroom. You had missed that sound.
When you stepped out, Summer was already down the covers, lying comfortably in the middle of the bed. Mason grabbed his pyjama bottoms and entered the bathroom.
"Auntie Y/a, come to bed." She told you. You smiled and jumped on the bed, showering her with kisses and making her laugh. "No. Stop it."
"Why? I missed you." You tickled her and she jumped out of bed, running to Mason as he left the bathroom shirtless, in only his pyjama bottoms. I missed you too.
"Uncle Mase, help me! Auntie Y/a is tickling me."
"Oh is she?" He picked her up and as if you weren't in the room he said, "Guess we'll have to tickle her too."
When they smiled at you like the Grinch, you knew you were fucked. You hated tickles. "Don't!"
You were the first to wake up. You were always the first to wake up. Mason liked to sleep and since he didn't have practice, you were sure wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.
It didn't come as a surprise, that Summer was no longer in between you two. She would always leave in the middle of the night to go to her parent's bed. She was a sneaky one. And it was no surprise either that Mason's arm found his way around your waist, pulling you closer against him.
This had been the best night's sleep since you had left the house and when you turned around and saw Mason's relaxed face you could tell he felt the same way. You didn't even know what you were doing, but the next thing you knew, you were kissing the corner of his lips. He moved a little, but he didn't wake up. You let out a relief sign and carefully got out of his embrace and out of bed.
Mason woke up, feeling cold but very well-rested. But when he looked at your side and saw it empty his panic started to build. Have you left again?
He got out of bed and after putting on a warm old hoodie, he left the room. His parents and sister were having breakfast, but you weren't.
"Good morning, sweetie." His mom welcomed him.
He gave her a kiss on the head. "Good morning." He grabbed a mug for his coffee and stole a toast from his sister, which hit his arm. "Have you seen Y/a?" He asked, afraid of the answer.
"She went to the bakery down the road with Summer." He felt like the world had been lifted off his shoulders. "After we leave, make things right with her. She's the best woman you'll ever going to find." His dad said.
"I know. I know."
After lunch, Mason's family left, leaving the two of you alone. He sat down on the couch and you sat next to him. Not too close but also not too far.
Mason could smell your perfume and he felt the need to pull you closer. "I'm sorry." He finally said. "For everything I said. I was angry and I wanted to hurt you, but I didn't mean anything. Asking you to be my girlfriend was the best thing I've ever done. And asking you to move in with me… I can't live without you." He swallowed the lump in his throat, as you played with the rings in your hand. "I've been sleeping on the couch because I can't sleep in the bed without you. That's how bad I've got it."
So that's why the room was clean as the day you left, you thought to yourself.
You looked up and looked at him. He looked sad and you knew he was sorry, because so were you.
"I said worse things." You started. "I wish I could take them all back because I didn't mean it. I don't even want to know what my life would be like if I hadn't met you. I love you. You're the love of my life and I--" You got suddenly interrupted when Mason put his hand behind your neck and pulled you close, locking your lips with his.
The kiss was neddy and desperate but sweet and passionate at the same time. Your hand cupped his cheek while his was still in your neck. Kissing him was addictive and the world around seemed to stop. He was your safe place and without a doubt, you were his.
When you pulled apart in desperate need of air, you stared at each other. A little more in love.
"Let's fix this!" He whispered. His head leaned against yours. "I don't want to lose you."
"You're not going to lose me."
"I want to marry you, I want to have kids with you, I want to grow old with you." He said, making you blush. "Fuck... I want to wake up everyday with you by my side, kiss you day and night and make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world."
"Stop it, you know I hate those cliches."
Mason smiled. "You hate them because they're directed for you."
"Yeah... So stop it."
"But why should--" This time you kissed him, cupping his face and sitting on his lap. He always gets distracted when you sit on his lap.
"I love you, Mount!" You broke the kiss and hugged him, hiding your face in his neck.
He hugged you back, running his hand up and down your back. "I love you too. You're the love of my life."

"A date?" You asked quietly. You looked at your best friend in shock who was grinning ear to ear. You're heart was in your stomach. "Y-You're going on a date?" You could see the rest of the guys staring at you in concern, while Jisung nodded in excitement. "O-Oh, that's great." You added and forced a smile onto your face.
You went into your own little world as Jisung gushed to the guys about the girl who he worked up the courage to ask out. Changbin and Chan couldn't help but occasionally glance at you in concern. It was no secret to the both of them or the rest of the guys that you were helplessly in love with Jisung. The only who was clueless was currently breaking your heart by rambling about another girl. Chan wanted to reach out and grab your hand, but he knew that would bring attention to you that you didn't need.
Your bottom lip trembled and tears threatened to spill out of your eyes. You couldn't let him see you like this, it's not like it's his fault anyway. You never had the guts to tell him how much you loved him. She got up quickly and muttered a quick sorry before rushing out of the coffee shop that you all usually hang at, ignoring all the boys calling out to you.
Jisung stared after you confused and looked to the boys. "What was that about?" He asked quietly. Changbin just looked at him and shook his head before getting up himself and going after you. Jisung turned to Chan with a questioning look.
"Mate if you don't understand what just happened, you're truly a moron." Chan said and got up as well to go after you. The rest of the boys just shook there head and Jisung and told him to let it go.
That night Chan and Changbin spent the night with you, holding you while you were crying. Trying to comfort you in anyway they can. Felix eventually joined too. Jisung kept calling you and texting all night. You ignored him and turned your phone off. Changbin thankfully covered for you and said you just weren't feeling well and that you were sleeping. But you continued to ignore him for days. You didn't want to talk to or see him. You didn't want to know how he was falling for someone else and going on dates.
Jisung on the other hand was a mess. The fact that you weren't talking to him was driving him insane. He kept asking the guys why she wasn't speaking to him and they would never tell him. They would just shake their heads and call him an idiot for not realizing. Jisung did everything he could to try and see you. He showed up at your work, only to be told you had taken time off and weren't feeling well. He tried to get you to answer the door at your apartment but was always met with silence.
Days turned into weeks. You would see the boys but did everything in your power to avoid Jisung, much to the boys protests, and any time you'd see him you'd immediately run away. Leaving Jisung broken and in tears calling out to you as you left. Jisung couldn't understand what he did wrong until one day he finally caught up with you and caught you by the arm.
"Y/n please! Please talk to me." He begged as tears flew down his cheeks. "You're my best friend, please tell me what I did wrong?" You knew you were being selfish and cruel to him. You knew avoiding him was wrong. But any time you saw him all you felt was pain.
"Right, friend." You spat out and looked at him as you yanked your arm out of his grasp. "That's all I'll ever be to you." You choked out. As you stared into his eyes with your broken ones, everything clicked. He knew, he understood why you ran off. With wide eyes he stared at you and slowly reached out to cup your cheek but you backed away from him. "Just stay away Han." The fact that you called him Han made him flinch. You never called him that. He reached out to you again but you turned and left him there.
After a few weeks Chan couldn’t take it any more and neither could the boys. So they hatched up a plan to get you both alone. They hated how miserable the two of you both became. They knew you both needed each other but you were stubborn and Han was to scared to admit his feelings.
It was Valentine’s Day and you spent the whole day with Chan and Felix at Chan’s apartment. You watched movies and ate chocolate. When it started getting dark you noticed Chan give Felix a knowing glance. You looked at them both in confusion. Chan told you to head back to your apartment and that there would be a surprise there.
You stood at you apartment door staring at it. Hesitant to even go in. Your heart was pounding because you didn’t know what was behind the door. When you finally had the courage to open the door your eyes widened at the sight. There were bouquets of roses and candles all over the apartment and standing in the middle of it all was Jisung holding a single rose in his hand. Your heart stopped as your eyes landed on him and you almost ran away again.
“Don’t you dare.” You jumped to see Changbin standing near the door. “He worked so hard on this all day for you. Go in there and give him a chance.” He pushed you in gently before walking out of the apartment and closing the door behind him. You turned to stare at Jisung. Who looked breathtaking. He was wearing your favorite pair of ripped jeans and a black vneck that cling tight to him. It’s almost as if he wore them on purpose. You slowly walked to him and when you finally stood in front of him he gently handed you the rose in his hand. When you accepted it he let out a shaky breath.
“Y/n.” He breathed out as his eyes bore into yours. “First I’m going to apologize for being an absolute clueless asshole.” He bit his lip and looked down at his feet. “I should have realized the second you ran out of the cafe what I had done. But you know I’m not the brightest of the bunch.” You couldn’t help but snort in response to which he looked up at you and smiled. “I’m sorry I hurt you. I’m sorry it took me so long to see how you felt.” He whispered.
“No Ji. I’m sorry. I’m sorry for acting so selfish.” You whispered in response. “It’s not your fault you didn’t know. I acted like a child. I can’t force you to like me.” Jisung laughed and shook his head.
“Y/n do you think I would do all of this just to win you back as a friend?” He asked softly and moved closer to you. You stared at him in confusion. “It took me a while to realize but I love you y/n.” Your eyes widened in disbelief as he reached out to caress your cheek gently. “Being without you for almost a month made me miserable. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I could barely function without you. It wasn’t until you told me how you felt that I realized all I needed was you. I need you. I love you. I love you so much that I can’t breathe without you y/n.”
Tears flew down your cheeks and your lip trembled as he pulled you closer by the waist. He pressed his forehead to yours and his soft beautiful lips daringly brushed against yours making your whole body tremble.
“Please tell me that I haven’t lost you. Please tell you’ll be mine.” He begged softly. You couldn’t form words, it felt like this was all a dream. But you couldn’t control yourself anymore. You dropped the rose and cupped his cheeks in your hands, pressing your lips to his. He didn’t even hesitate, he kissed back immediately and picked you up in his arms. He carried you to your bedroom as he continued to kiss you desperately.
He gently placed you back down on your feet and pushed your coat off of you. His eyes searched yours to see if you wanted this to continue. You pulled him close by his jeans and bit your lip. Your hand slowly ran up his chest and around his neck as your nose brushed against his.
“I love you Jisung.” You whispered softly. “I want to be yours.” He didn’t hesitate to kiss you deeply and hungrily in response to your words. He reached behind you to unzip your dress and slowly pushed it down letting it fall at your ankles. His eyes hungrily stared at your body and he growled softly. The growl made you shiver as your core began to ache. You didn’t wear a bra and were only left in your panties and heels and the sight ignited something primal in him. His hand’s immediately went to your breasts and started to knees at them like a cat. You whimpered at the feeling and felt yourself become drenched in excitement.
He gently pushed you onto the bed and took off his shirt. You bit your lip as you stared at his toned chest. As he went to take off his jeans and pants you slipped off your heels and panties. Your eyes widened when you saw his hard member spring free. There’s no way that’s going to fit inside me. You thought to yourself. You bit your lip as he crawled on top of you and kissed you softly before nipping at your lips. His lips then moved to your neck as you felt his hand slip between your legs. You gasped as you felt his two fingers brush against your soaking core.
“So wet for me already.” He growled softly into your neck and nipped at the skin. “Such a good girl.” You let out a whine and shook as you felt his thumb brush across your clit. You felt his fingers enter you and you gasped. You arched into him as he continued to mark your neck. Your fingers gripped the sheets beneath you. He pumped slowly and gently at first. He kissed down your chest and took your right nipple into his mouth. He groaned as he sucked on it like a child desperate for milk. His fingers began to pump faster and you whimpered and cried like a cat in heat.
“Does it feel good baby?” He whispered softly. “Do I make you feel good?” You whined out a yes in response and he kissed you deeply. “I love you.” He breathed into your lips. He kissed down your body and the latched his mouth to your clit making you cry out at the feeling. His fingers curled and explored until he found your special spot and began to rub it. Your eyes rolled back and your body shook as moans and sobs escaped your lips. “God you taste so fucking delicious.” He whispered before going to devour your core as if he was starving. You could feel something building in your core. Your cries grew louder as you felt yourself tighten around his fingers.
“That’s it beautiful. Let go. Cum on my fingers. I want to watch you cum.” He growled. His lust filled eyes watched you as you come undone on his fingers. The sounds escaping your moth as well as the facial expressions you made made his cock twitch in need. When you had ridden out your high he lined his cock with your core. He rubbed it along your folds letting your juices get all over it. “Are you sure y/n?” He asked softly and looked deep into your eyes. You nodded and rocked your hips into him. “I need you to say it. Say you want me to fuck you. Say you want me to make you mine.”
“Y-Yes Jisung. Please please make me yours!” You begged. He entered slowly and his eyes rolled back at the feeling of how tight and warm you were around him. You whimpered and arched off the bed as you felt him bottom out, completely filling you. Your legs trembled and you whined at the pain.
“It’s okay love. I’ll move when your ready. Just relax.” He whispered as he laid flush against you. He kissed your lips feverishly and pressed his forehead against yours. His thumb brushed against your clit and rubbed in a circular motion. You whimpered as your hands clung to his biceps. You pleadingly looked into his eyes and begged him to move. Your lips brushed against each others as you both panted heavily. He nodded and almost pulled out completely before pushing all the way back in. You both moaned loudly at the feeling.
“God you feel so perfect baby.” He whispered into your lips. His thrusts were slow and gentle. He wanted to make this last for as long as possible. You both stared into each others eyes as he made love to you. Your legs wrapped around his waist in instinct and that caused him to go deeper. Jisung whimpered at the feeling and pressed his forehead against yours. “Mine.” He whispered. “All mine.” You whimpered at his words and nodded. “I’m going to fill you with my seed over and over baby. I want you swollen with my child inside you.” This caused the ache in your core to grow and a loud moan escape you. “You like that? You want me to breed you?”
You let out whine and nodded in response. He growled and buried his head into your neck. Your fingers tangled into his hair and your hips began to rock to meet his thrusts. This made Jisung moan loudly as a hand gripped your curvy waist. His speed began to pick up and his thrusts were no longer gentle. All you could do was cling to him and cry out as he made a mess of you. The sounds of flesh smacking against flesh as you both loudly cried out for each other filled the bedroom. You cried out his name as you felt yourself begin to tighten around him.
“Ji I’m g-gonna— FUCK!” You sobbed out as he pounded into you relentlessly. Your whole body shook as you felt yourself hit your high for the second time. As you came around him you felt his cock throb and he cried out your name loudly over and over again as he painted your walls with his seed. You laid limp beneath him, your body trembling as you whimpered his name.
He pressed his lips against yours and groaned. “Fuck beautiful that was perfect.” He whispered as pulled out. You whined at the feeling of him no longer inside you and he grinned in response. Before you could say anything he had you on your stomach and your ass up in the air. “Don’t worry princess.” He smirked as he stroked himself already hard and ready to enter again. “I promised I would breed you. This is far from over.”

nothing more, nothing less

Kaz Brekker was acquainted with different monsters. Those wrapped in expensive silk and bathed in sickening perfume. Those who spouted beautiful lies, enticing unwitting men into their dens. Those with hands stained crimson, preying on children and fools alike. His reflection on a mirror.
But the green-eyed beast proved to be a terrifying match.
Or, Kaz gets jealous.

"Brekker."
"Darling," KAZ drawled without looking up at your arrival, his tone more mocking than affectionate. "You're two bells late. Do you have the—"
A roll of parchment zipped through the air, landing in the middle of his desk with startling accuracy and ruining the neatly arranged blueprints spread atop it.
"I told you to quit calling me that," you muttered darkly. "One of these days, I'll really cut off your tongue."
He huffed, concealing his amusement. He enjoyed calling you all sorts of endearments after discovering how easily they riled you up.
There are times when Kaz allowed himself to feel, to act, like a boy again. Reconcile with a distant past, one that echoed Jordie's voice and carried the smell of fresh grass.
This was one of them. Similar to a child, Kaz reveled in your attention. Regardless if they came as threats, insults, or downright disdain.
He'd swallow a bullet first than ever admit it, though.
"How terrifying," he said, unfazed, and made swift work of straightening out the floor plan you brought him.
Silence fell, interrupted only by the soft shuffling of papers. From the corner of his eye, he noticed you shifting your weight from one foot to the other.
Normally, Kaz would come up with some sort of excuse to make you stay, but it seemed that something was on your mind.
And so, he waited.
You cleared your throat. "Do you need anything else?"
No, but thank you. You did well. Please, get some rest, his thoughts supplied. He ignored them. Instead, he simply settled on, "No."
His movements stilled. The question was unusual, especially coming from you.
"Nothing more, nothing less," you had once told him, seated on the ledge of a stadwatch tower that overlooked Ketterdam's shores. He'd nodded in agreement back then, mesmerized by the early sunlight that caressed your face.
You lived by the old saying for as long as Kaz has known you. After all, when you grew up in the Barrel, you'd learned early on that acting out of the goodness of one's heart only left a person broken. Penniless. Or worse, dead.
As such, you weren't the type to seek additional assignments without an offer beforehand. The fact that you had gone out of your way to ask was... suspicious.
His eyes finally flicked to yours. He could never afford to look at you for too long, as it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to stop once he started.
He cocked his head to the side and searched your gaze. "Why?"
You blinked, clearly caught off guard. He rarely indulged you in idle conversation or pried into your affairs.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Because despite everything you've been through together, this was the nature of your relationship too. Neither of you tried to change it, even after every scar he unraveled and laid at your feet.
Even after numerous nights spent confined in his office, shoulders almost, but never brushing one another as you pored over schemes for hours.
Even after repeatedly saving each other's necks and during the intimate silences that followed when the adrenaline wore off. Moments taut with charged tension, heaving breaths, and unspoken truths.
"I've got plans," you explained rather cryptically.
"Plans? Has someone else hired you for a job? I hope you don't forget that you belong to—"
"No, someone asked me out on a date."
Me, insisted the voice in his head, rich with desperation. You belong to me.
Kaz scoffed in disbelief. "A date? In Ketterdam?"
Fear clawed its way up his throat, determined to make itself known. It warred with another emotion he was too proud to name.
This... feeling was absurd. Sentimental. Kaz was no stranger to loss.
The seas granted Inej her freedom. A new chapter awaited Jesper and Wylan. Nina stumbled upon a second chance at love. Matthias found peace.
Yet, deep down, each farewell left him a little more empty than the last.
You were bound to Ketterdam only by virtue of being the Dreg's sole lieutenant. In truth, nothing else was preventing you from leaving.
Leaving him.
After promoting you, a tiny seed of guilt buried itself in his cold, wretched heart when he realized he held you back. That he never gave you the opportunity to pursue your dreams. Your position forced you to assume several roles, to fill in the shoes the others had given up.
But his greed outweighed his guilt and Kaz was a selfish man indeed.
The mere idea that someone could whisk you away from him brought forth a hateful bitterness from within.
"Where is the unfortunate fellow taking you?" he asked, keeping his voice deceptively calm.
You narrowed your eyes, ignoring the jibe. "It's a quaint little bar called 'none of your business.'"
Nothing more, nothing less. The phrase taunted him now. The green-eyed monster inside him rattled his ribcage ferociously, driving him to boast.
He curled his fingers around the desk's edge tightly. "Funny. I run the entirety of the Barrel, and I don't recall an establishment operating under that name."
"I'll have you know that he actually owns the place he's bringing me to," you snapped defensively.
Good, good. More information.
"And how long have you known each other?"
You shrugged. "A few weeks."
The answer relieved him somewhat. His possessiveness ebbs, its rhythm steady, before it swelled again, rising with the current of his emotions. One should always be more sure of everything. He'd learned that the hard way.
"And he's aware of who you truly are?" Kaz pressed on. "Of what you do?"
There were only a handful of possibilities. The person could have ulterior motives for approaching you. It wasn't unlikely, considering your power was only second to his.
Perhaps it was a spiteful soul he'd wronged, plotting to take advantage of you and get revenge on him.
On the other hand, there was also a chance that they weren't privy to your true identity. He couldn't blame anyone for wanting you but it was common knowledge whispered in the streets that Kaz Brekker was a man unwilling to share.
Anyone who didn't heed that advice and went against it anyway was just recklessly bold. Or stupid. The Barrel never seemed to run out of those.
This time, you broke away from his gaze. "It doesn't matter." You sniffed, feigning indifference.
The person didn't know then, he surmised. You probably met him during one of your undercover assignments, disguised and masquerading around with an alias.
Sensing his disapproval, you attempted to defend your date-to-be by adding, "He's kind. Sweet. Honest."
Everything he was not. The words, sharp as glass, ripped him apart. Crushed him with an overwhelming weight of sorrow.
"It seems naive of you to form an impression of him in such a short amount of time," he said through gritted teeth.
Pretending as if he didn't care should have been easy for him. Right now, all his years of experience in perfecting that charade were useless.
You rolled your eyes. "Not everyone is cynical and distrusting of the world like you. People can be good, Brekker."
And you deserved everything good and more. Better people could love you, he knew.
Someone who would not flinch every time you drew near. Someone who would freely kiss away your every fear.
Kaz had survived gunshots. Knife wounds. Sickness, nightmares, and grief. But the very thought of someone else soaking in your warmth was an ache he could not bear.
He felt the words scorching his tongue, his demons voicing them with unbridled cruelty. "There is a difference between being cautious and acting like a love-sick fool!"
Your eyes widened in shock, hardening in anger a second later; then they softened with disappointment, and all Kaz could see was the reflection of himself, a frenzied animal. A blown fuse. Inhumanely hollow.
He opened his mouth to speak, beg for your forgiveness, but you had already turned and walked away.
"I'll come back when you aren't hissing at me like a wet cat," you said, slamming the door behind you.
Kaz clenched his gloved hands into aching fists and hung his head, trying not to think of how jealous the idea of another man made him.
He wasn't too late. Dealing with his emotions was uncharted territory for him but scheming came as effortlessly as he breathed.
Kaz never lost a fight and he wasn't about to start now. Even if he needed to play dirty. His greed outweighed his guilt and he wasn't called Dirtyhands for nothing.
Tumblr media
"Brekker!"
Kaz had just finished speaking with another gang member, Roeder, when he heard the heavy stomp of your footsteps, followed by the frustrated yell of his name. You appeared on the stairway landing soon after, rage thundering in your wake.
"You're dismissed." Kaz waved to Roeder. His eyes shifted to you momentarily and cast Kaz a wary glance. Not wanting to get caught in the crossfire, he scurried off, slipping past the both of you.
Kaz began to ascend the stairs, you trailing behind him. He could sense that you were shooting daggers at the back of his head, probably cursing him out silently.
"You're back early," he finally said once you entered his office. He circled back to the same place you'd left him hours earlier and sat in his chair. "How'd the date go?"
You stormed closer, wedging yourself between him and the desk, stopping him from hiding behind the pretense of work.
"You know exactly how it went," you snarled.
In spite of your anger, you remembered to maintain your distance. Not once have you commented on his aversion to skin-to-skin contact, though he was certain you harbored your own questions.
"I'm afraid I don't, darling." He raised his chin to hold your gaze, his expression carefully blank. A tailored mask. "I wasn't there."
"You had him taken by the Dregs." The hurt on your face was unmistakable, enough for Kaz to feel a tad remorseful.
It was hardly sufficient, though. Screw righteousness, old habits die hard. "Ah, I had no idea he was your date," he lied again.
"Bullshit."
"But, what I do know is that he laundered money from our coffers and forced children into building the same tavern you were just in."
Kaz went over records of the jobs you'd accomplished in the last two months. After connecting the dots, he successfully identified your date and paid Roeder to look into his background. It was pure luck that the man was a merchant who managed to con Kaz's old boss.
Pulling the strings for his capture was practically child's play. Not that he'd ever tell you that.
Your fury dissipated, replaced by defeat that slumped your shoulders. "You were right," you said quietly, avoiding his eye once more. "I'm sorry."
Kaz rose from his chair and stepped forward. Taken by surprise, you backed away instinctively, only to find yourself trapped by the desk now digging into your hip.
"Let me make it up to you," he spoke with an unfamiliar softness. It almost sounded wrong.
You furrowed your brows in confusion. "What?"
"I ruined your evening. I could have ordered the others to seize him after you finished dinner."
But I didn't want him to walk you home. Wrap his coat around your shoulders. Kiss you goodnight at the Slat's doorstep. Kaz would've probably loaded his pistol at the sight. Broken every limb that touched you with his cane.
You snorted. "Okay. Are you going to give me whatever we steal next? Increase my cut?"
"No, although we can discuss it another time. I'm inviting you out on a date."
You blinked once. Twice. Slowly, you said, "Brekker, you ask someone out when you like them."
His lips pulled into the slightest frown, mildly impatient. "I know."
"You don't like me."
"Whoever put that silly idea in your head?"
"You did. You don't like anyone."
"I may not be the best at showing it, but you know that there are exceptions to that rule," he argued. "Especially when it comes to you."
He continued to lean over you, ignoring the pressure of panic beating against the walls of his chest from the proximity.
"You called me an idiot," you countered. You refused to move a muscle, most likely out of consideration for him, but he closed the distance himself.
He dipped his head further. "Again, I never said that."
"Fine," you conceded, sounding fond. "You implied that I was an idiot."
"I'll be kinder from now on," he promised. "I can try to be sweet, if you give me time and chance to learn. And I'm being honest right now."
Nothing he could do would ever atone for his sins. But although he was renowned as the Bastard of the Barrel, he was prepared to do it right by you.
Hesitantly, you raised a hand. Every inch of his flesh wanted to turn itself inside out, but every bone in his body yearned for your touch.
A quivering sigh escaped his throat as you reached for his cheek, your fingers warm and gentle on his skin.
He braced himself for the familiar scent of death. The ocean. He willed himself to focus on the details that made your face. The line of your jaw to your ear. The slope of your nose. The curve of your lips, hanging onto them as if his life depended on it.
It did, in a way.
"Your answer?" he rasped, suppressing a shiver.
You dragged your thumb against his skin in a delicate but paralyzingly manner and whispered, "I accept."
He had never been held with such tenderness before. Your touch made him feel like he was somewhere else, far from the memories that haunted him.
Growing concerned, you attempted to withdraw your hand but Kaz grasped your wrist before you fully could. He steadied himself with your pulse, each beat, each hymn, anchoring him to the present.
He was here. With you. In his office. Nothing in the world could hurt him.
Eventually, he slid his own gloved hand so that your palms pressed together. Your lashes fluttered and you asked, "Is this really happening? Are we really going on a date?"
He hummed in affirmation. "And I'll do it properly."
Seriously, who in their right mind would bring you to that side of Ketterdam? He took the sealed envelope containing your dinner reservation from inside his coat and handed it to you.
"Thank you." Your mouth curved into a shy smile. "And for the record... you don't have to be anything else other than yourself."
"Ruthless, callous, and dishonest cheat?" His voice held a hint of insecurity, betraying his attempted nonchalance. It was a question hauled from the inner depths of his soul, the boy inside him who wondered if he could ever be worthy of love.
"You forgot insufferable," you teased, although your earnest gaze belied the lightness of your tone. He knew you could see right through him. "But, yes. Just you, Kaz. Nothing more. Nothing less."
At that moment, Kaz knew you would be his salvation and destruction. You could shatter his heart and every single piece would still cry out for your name.
He squeezed your hand. Soon, he'll make you, and everyone else in the Barrel, realize that he had no intentions of ever letting you go.
