i made full “canon” allegiances for the start of the fourth apprentice: link to google doc

this is a part of a little series im doing, where im making full allegiances for the first book of every arc in order. here is the original post for the into the wild allegiances, the original post for the midnight allegiances, and then the original post for the sight allegiances

“canon” is in quotations because a lot of this is guesswork about who logically would be around at that point in time, but aren’t listed in allegiances or mentioned in the book.

this is mainly meant to be a resource for fanworks

po3 was really good at tracking apprentices. oots was decidedly not. apprentices would become warriors in one book and would still be listed as apprentices in the allegiances books later. the erins refused to cycle in new apprentices until the last hope. researching this was hell.

anyway

general stuff that’s all still same as last time:

wiki pages are linked to character’s names

med cat = cleric

characters are listed by age. where there are no concrete ages, i make my best guess

tc is the only clan without a “kit” rank as all kits in the clan have known parents

i’ll be mentioning in what book each apprentice becomes a warrior, just because the oots allegiances are horrible

thunderclan:

millie - she is listed as a warrior

shadowclan:

flametail - he is not listed as an apprenticed because he has his full name. willowshine in riverclan is listed the same

berrypaw/berryheart, cloverpaw/cloverfoot, ripplepaw/buster - snowbird was pregnant around the same time as millie. briar bumble and blossom are apprentices at the start of tfa and become warriors in fading echoes, so these three probably follow a similar timeline, even though they aren’t introduced until avos

ferretpaw/ferretclaw, pinepaw/pineclaw, starlingpaw/starlingwing - become warriors in the forgotten warrior

kinkfur - she is probably pregnant at the start of tfa

pouncekit/pouncetail - random one-off warrior from bramblestar’s storm and in the allegiances of dovewing’s silence. he could literally be born whenever, but he and pinenose showed up together a couple times, so maybe they’re close in age? (maybe he was weaselkit’s father)

riverclan:

willowshine - as i mentioned with flametail, she’s listed as a full cleric rather than an apprentice

shimmerpelt - appears as a warrior in dovewing’s silence. in sky, splashtail says that she’s been a “warrior forever” so. warrior it is

sneezepaw/sneezecloud - he isn’t listed in the allegiances for tfa, but he does show up. he’s still an apprentice while his littermate and younger clanmates are warriors. the first time he’s listed as a warrior is in avos. major F

troutpaw/troutstream and rushpaw/rushtail - become warriors in sign of the moon. rushtail is another classic early riverclan retiree, as he retires in dovewing’s silence

hollowpaw/hollowflight and mossypaw/mossyfoot - become warriors in the forgotten warrior

duskfur - mistystar’s omen and mothwing’s secret have conflicting timelines on when curlfeather and podlight’s age, as MO has them as kits when leopardstar died and MS has them as kits during the great battle. i decided to go with mistystar’s omen, since duskfur is listed as being in the nursery in tfa. duskfur probably has them sometime during this book

lakekit/lakeheart - appears as a warrior in dovewing’s silence. she could be older but her mate appears as an apprentice in DWS so i made her a kit

windclan:

whiskerpaw/whiskernose - becomes a warrior in sign of the moon

furzepaw/furzepelt - becomes a warrior in the forgotten warrior

boulderpaw/boulderfur - becomes a warrior in the last hope
