I think the first law of being an audio drama fan is that you have to contemplate how the protagonists of every show show you've listened to would react if they wound up in night vale, and I sincerely believe that the funn twins wouldn't even register anything weird with the type of shit they got going on. rudyard sees dead animals falling from the sky and just runs to antigone like "if we can figure out how to bill this cloud then this could be a very lucrative source of income for us."

Hello fans of Re: Dracula who were introduced to fiction podcasts through the updates from our good friend Jonathan Harker! Now that the story's over (sob!), would you like some recommendations for some other audio dramas that you might enjoy, made by some of the folks who worked on the podcast?

Jonathan Sims, who played our local phonograph enthusiast, is the writer of the hugely popular horror podcast, The Magnus Archives. The Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute records statements made by members of the public, detailing strange encounters with the supernatural. What soon becomes clear is that these statements do not describe separate and unrelated events, and a bigger and horrific picture begins to emerge. Also appearing as recurring characters in this series are both Sasha Sienna and Alasdair Stuart.

Karim Kronfli is a prolific voice actor, and while he might be best known for his roles in both Re: Dracula and The Magnus Archives, he has voiced a wide range of characters in many different fiction podcasts. Out of all the ones he's appeared in, I would personally recommend urban fantasy anthology series, Unseen. The unseen world exists alongside ours, but only a few humans can see it. It's a world where magic and magical creatures exists, and Karim's character tells his story in episode 7, titled We Ourselves.

Beth Eyre and Felix Trench played twins Antigone and Rudyard Funn in Wooden Overcoats, a British sitcom set on the tiny fictional island of Piffling, in the English Channel. The twins run a funeral parlor together, the only one on the island, until a newcomer arrives. Eric Chapman (played by Tom Crowley) sets up a much more successful funeral parlor, and the story is narrated by the Funns' house mouse, Madeline.

Alan Burgon plays the Interviewer in The Amelia Project. The Amelia Project is a secret organisation, and clients come to them looking for their help in faking their deaths. The Interviewer listens to each client's story, before concocting unique and often elaborate ways in which they will stage their deaths, before being reborn into a new identity.

David Ault is also a very recognisable voice to anyone who spends a considerate amount of time listening to fiction podcasts, and The Kingmaker Histories feels like an appropriate choice here. A weird steampunk series set in the Valorian Socialist Republic in 1911 , this story involves found family, its own intriguing magic system, and being gay and doing crime.

Our favourite cowboy, Giancarlo Herrera, plays one of the protagonists in sci-fi action/thriller, Primordial Deep. Spinner is part of a team which is sent deep beneath the sea to investigate the resurgence of creatures thought to be long-extinct. There's plenty of horror to be had here, as something ancient is stirring in the depths of the ocean.

As for the crew? Tal Minear works on so many podcasts, and if you like fantasy stories, I would recommend the delightfully lighthearted Sidequesting, which follows new adventurer Rion, as they help people on their travels. If you would like some more horror, there's their spoiler-driven anthology series, Someone Dies in This Elevator.

Hannah Wright's Inn Between is a fantasy series based on D&D. Each episode follows a party as they meet in the Goblin's Inn, in between adventures, as the tavern follows them around wherever they go.

Stephen Indrisano's upcoming docu-horror Shelterwood promises to be a series which explores the horror of suburbia, as it follows one man's quest to find his missing sister. Until this is released, I would recommend Do You Copy, in which Stephen plays one of the protagonists. This found footage horror series follows the events which unfold after the closure of Red Tail National Park, and the people who were left inside the park, after its mysterious closure.

Ella Watts is regarded as a walking encyclopedia of all things audio fiction, and has worked on several high-profile projects, including directing both Doctor Who: Redacted and Marvel Move. Her upcoming Camlann is a post-apocalyptic series due to be released next year, inspired by Arthurian legends and British folklore. She is also the executive producer of Tin Can Audio's (who are also producing Camlann) beautiful experimental series, The Tower. The protagonist of this story, Kiri, leaves her life behind to climb an impossibly high tower, making phonecalls along the way.

Newt Schottelkotte's Where The Stars Fell is a supernatural fantasy set in the town of Jerusalem, Oregon. Cryptozoologist Dr Edison Tucker arrives in the town to carry out some research, and meets her roommate, author Lucille Kensington. There's so much more to this strange town than first meets the eye, with a huge revelation at the end of season one.

Not going to lie, I feel so robbed at the fact that they spent all of s2 ep8 having Rudyard frantically digging with a pickaxe and going through the five stages of grief while trying to get Antigone out of the mine only to play it off as a funny little bit at the end. Like, this is Rudyard. The man who would never willingly do something if he knows other people can/are doing it for him, but for the whole episode he was chipping and chipping at those rocks. Not stopping once. Every time it would swing back over to the Reverend and them, you could hear him going at it in the background.

When he was in the bargaining stage and he was saying "5 more minutes, just 5 more minutes" that shit was heartbreaking. He wasn't even paying attention to anything around him because he was so focused on swinging this pickaxe to try and get his sister out of this mine. He did all that just so that when finally got Antigone out, it could all just be played off like "oh wow reached acceptance goody for me". NO! The fact that no one even addressed the fact that he had been trying for hours to get them out. Ugh. Devastating. In fact, he was still swinging the pickaxe trying to get them out when Antigone and Chapman had been rescued by Georgie.

And no one said a word about it! It's so genuinely upsetting to me. They didn't even hug :( The whole episode I thought they were building up to like this serious emotional reunion especially because of the fact that Rudyard just kept hammering. I don't know, maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

In ReboundedHeroes/HiB couples' defense, they're not sure if they can have kids naturally. The possiblity of twins in the future really scares and excites them. Probably happens completely on accident.

Jackpotshipping/Ace and Joker are both laughing cus "We're old as hell! It ain't happening!" Cue them learning the term "geriatric pregnancy" and both panicking Hard. Both would have a "Father of the Bride: Part 2" reaction if it occurred. One half of their twins could still be a dumpster baby/hospital freebie thats a doppleganger for their bio one - just for funsies.

The Reborn couple/Fruitiedads might just get away with having destined Eclipse Twins since they might have already occured in their 5 fruit kiddos... Or the second that they let their guard down they get knocked up the old-fashioned way for once (or a mishap involving a certain river occurs).

I have a funn yet cute headcanon that Azul told the twins his feelings for Riddle first cause childhood friendship but regrete it when Riddle came to the Mostro Lounge and Azul gave him the best seat in the house near the large tank and suddenly you hear some nice music and a unknown voice which Azul's like "wtf" and turned his head to see Floyd and Jade swimming in the tank singin in special mics and the song is "Kiss The Girl" with obvious changed lyrics

ok so this was going to be a Ha Ha funne comic about young hitachiins being stupid because theyre Kids get it they dont think about their words lol !but fuck that i need to talk about the fucking movie. i spent 2 days 2 full ass day searching for that god damn cinderella movie you see i found it by typing シンデレラ(cinderella) into youtube and searching by uploaded in that hour because im insane and i found a youtube video with like 0 views that was just a rip of some VHS or DVD animated short film and i thought it was funny because the step sisters were twins with orange hair ha ha just like the hitachiins wow funny . and then i go to find it again a few days later and the uploaders account was terminated. so im like fuck and i tried so fucking hard to find it but as you can imagine typing "cinderella animation dvd" in japanese into google gives you like 500000 results and i spent so fucking long trying to find this particular god damn movie i found like several other cinderella movies in the process. the next day i do the same thing but try VHS instead and i found this scan of the VHS box and it looked familiar so i went on a goosehunt for this particular cinderella movies just called cinderella from 1993 well actually it's "heartwarming masterpieces animated series 5: cinderella" and there was actually 0 info about it like fuck all not even a wikipedia page in japan nobody was talking about this fucking film 3 pages on google max. i found a fucking amazon page which btw was the only page that had the fucking image that had the vhs for 170,000 yen which is like $160 and im like so desperate at this point to find the cinderella lost media i think hm should i buy this like seriously . i consider going to reddit but as a last ditch effort i typed in the voice actresses name for cinderella in the film + cinderella and would yuo fucking look at that the first result is a nico video mirror from 2 YEARS AGO the whole fucking movie. anyways i have the fucker downloaded so i'll never lose it again that btich. anyways i headcanon this is kaoru's favorite japanese-native animated cinderella film. because i think after all this im allowed to have that headcanon. fuck this all
