is brother of mine's monologue at the end of 'the family of blood his interpretation of what happened? or...

is he merely telling the audience what the doctor told him? the last family member to be dealt with....
"he never raised his voice. that was the worst thing. the fury of the time lord. and then we discovered why. why this doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he'd run away from us and hidden. he was being kind."
**************
"where are the rest? where is my family?"
i wrapped your father in unbreakable chains, forged in the heart of a dwarf star."
"mother?"
"i tricked her into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy to be imprisoned there forever. i still visit your little sister once a year every year. i trapped her in a mirror. every. mirror. there she is, can't you see? if ever anyone looks at their reflection and see something move behind them, just for a second, that will be her. always her."
i wonder if one day he might forgive her.
"what will you do to me? why can't i move?"
"i've suspended you in time. i'm going to put you to work standing over the fields of england, as their protector."
"why are you doing this? why not just kill us?"
"you wanted to live forever, so i'll make sure that you do."

Rose Tyler x Sibling!reader - trying to keep you safe
Tumblr media
Hi! Can I request a Familial/Platonic Rose Tyler imagine where the Reader is her younger sibling, and she comforts them after Rose and the Doctor saves them from being taken by Aliens and assures them she won’t let anything happen to them, please? Love your work! - AnonπŸ’œ
You knew Rose went away with the doctor quite a bit, you found it weird that was his name, and your mum and Mickey wouldn’t tell you much about him.
You wanted to join her but since you were just about to sit your GCSE’s you weren’t allowed to leave much to your sadness.
But Rose kept in contact and updated you on certain things.
Rose and your mum didn’t want you knowing anything about aliens, sometimes you talking with the doctor but he was also under strict orders not to tell you a single thing.
They thought by doing this they would be keeping you safe.
And they were.
At first.
Aliens coming to earth were always run off by the doctor, and these ones were prepared for that.
They wanted the doctor.
He had a companion he cared about deeply.
His companion had a sibling who walked to school in the morning.
So they took you.
One moment you were walking down the street, the next you were gone and trapped in some invisible box that you couldn’t get out of.
You screamed, hit it until your knuckles bled, cried, begged, but they paid you absolutely no mind, even as you sat with your head in buried in your knees out of pure terror.
The aliens stood in front of the screen proudly as they watched the face of the doctor appear on it.
β€œWhat do you want?” He snapped.
They grinned and stepped aside to show you.
β€œ(Y/N)!” Rose yelled.
You snapped your head up, looking at the screen through teary eyes.
β€œRose!”
You couldn’t understand what the aliens were saying, you could only hear rose and the doctor demanding that you were let go unharmed.
β€œI promise if any harm comes to (Y/N) you will deal with all the fury of a timelord.” The doctor snarled.
β€œI promise we won’t let them hurt you (Y/N).” Rose said gently.
You sniffled and shook your head, burying it in your knees again.
The aliens said something to the doctor and cut the communication from him.
They carried on going about ignoring you, but they did keep a very close eye on you in case the doctor tried to break you free.
Except it wasn’t him they should have been looking out for, it was your big sister.
They managed to get aboard the ship, and Rose stormed into the main room where you were being held, and all weapons were pointed at her.
β€œYou shouldn’t have touched them.” She sneered.
They said something.
β€œThey’re my sibling!” Rose yelled.
She carried on arguing with them, and you watched the doctor creeping around the place, hitting buttons and using a weird device on others.
Then he crept over to you, and he held out his hand and you looked at him in fear.
β€œCome on, quickly…”
You reached out and gave him your hand, letting him pull you up and you both ran over to your older sister, and you cowered behind them.
Rose hugged you tightly, and your clung to the doctors jacket, using him as some sort of shield.
β€œYou made a big mistake, not only coming here, but threatening a human to get to me.”
The aliens chattered something back.
β€œYou should’ve kept a closer eye on your weapons console.”
The doctor gripped your hand and Rose’s and he dragged you both after him as you ran away from the aliens now shooting at you.
He pushed you into the police box first, then rose, and then he followed.
You collapsed to your knees again, tears running down your face as you began to properly process everything.
β€œOh (Y/N) im so sorry…”
Rose dropped next to you, holding you tightly.
β€œIm so sorry I never thought they’d come for you… I thought you were safe…” she whispered.
You cried into her.
β€œIt’s okay.. im here.. we’re not going to let them hurt you…”
She looked up at the doctor and he walked over, crouching down on the other side of you.
β€œIm sorry (Y/N), it’s my fault they came after you.” He sighed.
β€œY…you…?”
You looked at him and he sighed.
He sat down and he wrapped his arms around his knees.
β€œI promise I’ll explain everything to you when you’re ready, okay?”
You nodded and clung to your older sister, and you looked up at her.
β€œI trust him.” She whispered.
You nodded your head, and you closed your eyes, trying to get past the horrors you saw not long ago.
Rose’s phone began to ring making you jump.
Rose looked at the doctor, and he sighed, holding his arms out, and Rose passed you over to the doctor and he held you tightly.
You froze a little, he had put your head on his chest and you could hear how strange his heart sounded.
β€œDo you like space…?” He asked gently.
You nodded a little bit.
β€œDo you want to see something?”
You shook your head and he nodded.
β€œAlright then, we’ll just sit here until Rose gets back.”
You nodded again, and he sighed a little bit.
He wasn’t used to teenagers, let alone teenagers who had been scared to death by aliens, and since he wasn’t sure what to do he just hugged you.
But the moment Rose came back you were back in her arms, and she looked to the doctor.
β€œMums fuming, we’re both going to be getting an earful from her, and she wants (Y/N) back home now.”
β€œI think it’s well deserved, we did put them at risk.”
The doctor jumped up and Rose gently shushed you.
She had always wanted you to come travel with them, but seeing what had just happened, she didn’t know where would be safer for you now

Hi, if you’re still doing Doctor Who fanfics, I was wondering if you could please write a silly little 11th Doctor x Platonic!TimeLord reader where they are best friends and have a relationship dynamic like Joey and Frankie from the Basement Yard Podcast.
Like they’re in a dangerous scenario and one of them makes a joke and they both just start laughing. Or when they’re on the TARDIS they’ll be arguing and then one of them says something that reminds them of a song and they both just start singing it. And they use insults and a term of endearment.
I think this would be really fun and silly, but no worries if you don’t want to.
Thanks<3
okay I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea who those guys are but I’ll still do this idea.
Okay so one thing the 11th doctor is the best next to Tennant (yeah I’m biased cause Matt smith is MY doctor).
and yeah being friends with 11’s doctor is a WILD ride!!
yet at the same time you guys just click with one another from the moment you guys meet.
let’s say both of your chaotic energies just mesh together like fish fingers and custard hehehe
and that sometimes can be pretty strange or confusing to others especially when it comes to saving the galaxy
like this one time when you, the doctor and the Ponds got ambushed by the Daleks.
β€œResistance is futile. Prepare to be exterminated!”
β€œDamn and I think I left the stove on in the Tardis.” You say.
at that comment 11 couldn’t help but say.
”how many times does this make? The fourth? The fifth?”
”lucky number seven actually my friend. But you’ve forgotten plenty of times. Remember when you thought a grease fire could be extinguished with water?”
β€œAnd you could’ve told me that?”
after briefly glaring at one another you both start to laugh.
β€œWhat is all this?” Proclaimed one of the daleks.
”it’s better you go with it” Amy said.
There was also another time with some space pirates that had taken a town hostage for their crops and money (real bugs life type situation)
they had you and the gang in cages along with the villagers and the pirate captain was going on a villainous monologue of how he was superior than these foolish villagers.
"With the subordination of these meek-little farmers, soon the entire galaxy will know my name! BLAZER THE WRATHFUL!!!" the pirates soon uproared in celebration, but soon a loud laugh overcame that.
It was your laughter.
"Something funny monkey!?"
"I'm sorry, I-I'm sorry my dude, did you say your name is Blazer-fury?"
"Yes!"
"So do you--shoot blazers out of wrath?" you ask.
"Enough out of you! Or we'll kill you first!"
But you couldn't help but snicker under your breath. The Captain turns back to you demanding what's funny.
"I'm sorry. My guy I am soo sorry. I just keep thinking to myself of how every morning you standing in front of them mirror saying to yourself, 'You know what would be a real kick-ass name! BLAZER THE WRATHFUL!!' HAHAHAHAH! That's how I hear you in my head. Remember Doc like that movie?!"
"Which one? You mean the Dinosaur one? Ahh I remember when we got to have those dinos on a space ship. That was a fun time."
"No, no, no Doctor you know the one with the talking Raccoon."
"Oh yeah. Huh? Art imitates life."
"RIGHT!?!? HEY! HEY CAP! What was your second choice gonna be? BLAZER THE SCROTUM HEAD!?"
At your comment, you had his entire crew laughing when Blazer the wrathful puleld you against the bars, his sword to your neck as he sneered.
"That's it wench! You die now!"
"Well, dying would certainly be better than living in a galaxy where a misogynistic moron who thinks Blazer the Wrathful is a kickass name." you said bluntly before using your taser gun that River gave you the last time you both met.
In the end, you all saved the village and defeated the piarates.
Overall, when it comes to being you and the Doctor, you better watch out cause there's bound to be some chaos, mischief, and a bit of eye-rolling due to their chaotic energy together.
"Hey Doc! Where's the flux-capacitor on SEXY?"
"She doesn't have one of those, this is a TARDIS, not a Delorian."
"Do you think she'd be able to transform into that?"
"No! I like her this way and this way she'll stay."
"Then can you make me a time-machine Delorian?"
"No."
"C'MON DOC!!"
Yeah, chaotic energy at the max.

"Doctor?"
Rose's eyes are wide, fear pulling at her senses. The Doctor kneels on the other side of the room, body still. Eerie compared to his struggles earlier.
Behind him is Dreylan, a purple skinned alien, with a grin on her face. Her fingers are against the Doctor's temples, positioned carefully, and her eyes are narrowed.
"He won't answer you. I have him entirely under my control." Dreylan snorts, her hands falling from the Doctor's face, "The famed Doctor. Last of the Timelords. Mine."
Rose ignores her, staring at the Doctor,
"Can you hear me? Listen, you gotta fight her! Come back."
The purple skinned guards behind her are stout, their hands digging into her skin. Dreylan waves them off, and they move away, closer to the glass door on Rose's right. Her hopes flare as the Doctor shifts, but they plummet like stones as he says,
"What would you like him to tell you? I can make him say anything. It's alright, Rose. I'll get us out."
Dreylan moves backwards, her expression triumphant. A hot fury burns through Rose at the words coming out of his mouth, his voice.
"He will. You know why? Because he's the Doctor. You think you're being funny, but he's defeated thousands of people like you."
"Oh, darling. You just don't get it. He does what I want him to, and only that." At her expression, Dreylan shrugs, "You don't believe me? Doctor, choke her. Not to kill, but just show her what you can do."
Immediately, the Doctor stands, face blank as he moves towards Rose. A cold rush of dread runs down her spine, but she keeps her expression steady.
"Doctor. This isn't you. Come back. Just follow my voice. You can do it, I know you-"
Reaching her, he grabs her neck, and she lets out a cry, panic pulsing through her. As if she's a piece of paper, he lifts her up, slamming her against the wall. She scrabbles at his hands as the air is pushed out of her, and she chokes, kicking at the wall behind her.
He's strong, stronger than she'd realized, and as she gasps for air, Dreylan closes in, peering at Rose's red face. Her vision starts to dim as the aliens watch, but all she can see is the Doctor. His eyes are blank, flat. Still the same swirling chocolate brown, but missing the constant spark of life. The glimmer he gets turning to her to explain the next new thing. His eyes are dead.
Just as her vision flickers, Dreylan snaps her fingers, and the Doctor lets go, moving his hand away in a motion too quick for her to follow.
She sprawls on the floor, letting out a cry of pain as her ankle folds from under her. Gasping for air, she scrambles backward, hitting the corner far too soon. Her fingers probe her ankle, and though she sucks in a breath at the contact, it's not broken.
"See? I can make him do anything. And he can't do anything to stop himself. He's in there, watching. But he can't escape. The telepathy of my species far exceeds his own."
Lifting her head to the shining boots of the purple alien, Rose spits, a spark of satisfaction warming her at the sight. But Dreylan just shakes her head,
"Doctor? Slap her."
He moves closer, and she flinches, trying to stop a tremor as he reaches down to pull her up. She looks up into his emotionless face, silently pleading with him.
Slap.
Crying out at the contact, a wave of pain blinds her, and she's barely able to steady herself as he lets go, stepping back to Dreylan's side. The metallic tang of blood fills her mouth, and she can feel a trickle of it drip down her chin. As her eyes refocus, Dreylan brushes her hand against the Doctor's hand.
That means he's fighting. She needs to keep contact with him.
And if Rose can distract the purple skinned woman, maybe he stands a chance of getting free. And she's not letting Dreylan stay in his head.
When Dreylan steps forward, Rose pushes the pain away, biting her lip to clear her head.
And when she gets close enough, Rose brings her knee up, hitting her square in the gut before trapping her in a headlock.
Thankfully, she seems to be weaker than humans, or Rose wouldn't have any chance. But the guards finally stir, starting towards the three, before Rose pulls Dreylans hair back, scowling at them,
"Stay back."
They do just that, edging back to the doorway, and when Dreylan- coming out of the shock of being attacked- calls for the Doctor, she knocks her head on the wall, kicking her to the floor.
And she goes.
Not so imperious without your mind control.
Remembering the last thing she'd said, Rose turns back to the Doctor, tensing.
But he's already watching her, leaning against the wall. At her scared expression, he reaches out, and Rose can't help but flinch, remembering the strength in his hands. He stops, pulling his hands back with a pained look.
"Rose... I'm so sorry. I can't- I don't..."
He struggles to form a sentence, but his concern is palpable. And Rose wants to go to him. She wants to touch him, to hug him and bury herself in his embrace, but she can't. She can't stop from seeing him stalk towards her. From feeling his hands around her throat.
And she can see him realize. But before either of them can address the issue one of the guards pulls out a weapon- a gun of sorts, shouting at the two.
Immediately, the Doctor pulls out his sonic, pointing at them, and the gun falls to the ground with a clatter,
"How many times do I need to say it! I don't like guns. Rose, lets get back to the TARDIS."
She nods mutely, following him past the guards an a whirlwind. As they make their way through the maze of stark white hallways, she tries to discard the memories of pain. It wasn't the Doctor. It was Dreylan.
But her mind doesn't listen, so she focuses on running. On ignoring the pain in her ankle and keeping up with the Timelord.
As the Doctor opens the door to the TARDIS and starts flipping switches, Rose quietly closes the door, tracing her fingers along her walls. The ship sends a faint trail of reassurance, snd she smiles softly at her.
"Thanks, girl."
Her eyes close, and she leans her forehead against the dark wood, the cool paint soothing her face.
"I hurt you."
The Doctor is quiet, his voice barely carrying, and when Rose looks up at him, he looks miserable. He's standing six feet away, closer to the control panel. His face is set in a mask of blankness, but she knows him well enough to see through it.
"You didn't. It was Dreylan. She did it."
He looks down, scowling at himself,
"With my face. My hands."
She takes a tentative step forwards, a deep ache surfacing at the inability to comfort the Doctor.
"It wasn't you. She said- she said you couldn't do anything."
He meets her eyes, an earnest tone to his voice,
"I tried! I tried so hard, but I couldn't- I couldn't stop it. She had a grasp on my mind."
She gives him a small smile,
"That's what I was saying. You couldn't."
He nods, looking down again, and she does the same.
"Thank you. You saved me, knocked out Dreylan so I could escape her grasp." Letting out a shudder, his eyes go dark, and Rose makes a choice.
She's not going to let a purple alien ruin her relationship with the Doctor. Not if it kills her.
So she reaches out a hand, slowly taking one of the Doctor's in hers.
They flash to around her neck. Across her face.
But she focuses on his expression. He takes her hand carefully, softly. His eyes shine with a spark of hope, and she moves past him, walking backwards.
"Come watch a movie in the library with me..."

Loved your 13th Doctor headcanons! Do you have any for the Master as well? (Loving Campervan p6 btw πŸ’›)
Aaah thank you! And ooh hm I'm walking to work so just quickly:
Talking about dhawan master specifically, @taardisblue has infected me with the headcanon that because the Master regenerated close to a black hole (hello, time dilation) AND only came into being because simm master killed missy, which is a mess in and of itself but also we know that when timelords cross their own timelines it messes with their heads a bit afterwards simply to preserve the timeline's integrity. So then - the Master regenerates in the temporal and spatial proximity of BOTH of these things....and it completely messes with his timesense. I feel like it's both extremely sensitive (possibly even painful) but also extremely difficult for him to interpret in a coherent way, and like...man, what is his perception of time even like, then? I don't know, I need to write a fic going into it more deeply (I actually have an idea for a timeloop oneshot where the Master can tell that they're stuck in a loop waaaaaay before the Doctor, but because his timesense is a mess and way more sensitive then it starts to genuinely hurt him and he steadily gets more incoherent as it goes on. Meanwhile the Doctor clocks it a few loops later because it smells like quarantined time and the temporal loops they used to weaponise in the Time War, and once she realises and starts to mess with the timeline within like, the two minute loop they're stuck in, she starts to get temporal nitrogen narcosis SKKSKS). Anyway, I also infected @taardisblue with a certain Stargate: Universe fic in return where a character has issues with time perception, and now we both say things like "the Master has trouble with temporal sequencing" in relation to this headcanon skskks so that's fun
And then - I've definitely done this in one of my fics before (notches in your spine, if you want to know which one) but I think that when Tecteun encoded the Doctor's division memories into the matrix and corrupted the files, she would have absolutely put a failsafe on what was left of those memories just in case the Doctor went digging. The failsafe consists of psychic barbs that only go one way, so it means that if you force your way INTO the files, then you just slip past them, but when you try and get OUT again, you're moving against the barbs and it rips your mind apart. And so then my hc is that this is exactly what happened to the Master, and it SHOULD have completely destroyed his mind probably, but 1) he's so used to his mind being something to fight against/pain to fight THROUGH, that he managed to pull himself back together but also 2) he was SO ANGRY about what he'd discovered, and he used that anger to pull himself through the other side of it all. Which is in part why he is drowning in his fury so much this go around - it was the only thing that got him through, and he literally used it to stitch his mind back together
AND THEN finally bc I'm almost at work - because Twelve and Missy, dhawan master actually learnt to feel a lot of empathy, and so that plus his extremely volatile and overwhelming feelings of his own, he feels a LOT of emotion as a rule, and does not know how to deal with it. Hence: literally everything he does in the show.
I've probably explained everything terribly (see: walking) but hope that it makes at least a vague semblance of sense!!!

CHAPTER 4: DIRTY PLANS
After you both felt that you were far enough away from Thor and Hulk, you suddenly stumbled forward and groaned in pain. Natasha quickly caught you before falling to the floor and slowly lowered you to sit on the floor. You groaned and arched your head up and let out a painful breath.
"what's wrong?" Natasha asked with a concerned expression on her face. Eyebrows arched together.
You groaned. "Don't worry, it's just my regeneration energy trying to heal the bruises and cuts that I have. I'm still in the 'cooking' state so it hurts a little bit. Probably there are some ribs and broken bones after the Hulk smacked me to the walls" You breathed out slowly .
Nat looked at you with concern. Her hands shaking probably her adrenaline has disappeared and now all panic and nervousness appear in her body language. She then nodded her head and sat next to you.
Then, your right hand starts emitting a violet-yellow light then it starts spreading to the spot that has bruises and cuts. You closed your eyes while Nat looked at you with wide eyes and amazed. As soon as the violet yellow energy had made sure that all the injuries had been healed, it began to subside. It's beautiful yet so confusing for her
Nat shook off her reverie and looked at you with wonder. "so, you really are an alien? What do you mean regeneration?"
you puffed a big breath. Relief after the pain in the body is disappearing. "You and your curious nature. Yup, Time Lord actually. Well for me it's Time Lady. It's cool, isn't it? Regeneration You see, what I mean by regeneration is that I can cheat from death with it. It could happen because of severe illness, old age, fatigue,or injury. It could also be invoked by choice, whether voluntary or involuntary. It also has a limit, you see every TimeLord/Lady their maximum life is 13 and this is my fourth life. I still have 9 lives left. However, I don't want to waste my life"
Nat just nodded a little as a sign of understanding and then she leaned against the big chest with horror on her face. Her hands were visibly shaking and that made you notice it.
You then slowly hold Nat's left hand and gently caress her hand trying to calm her down. "hey, you're okay. We're both okay.. We're safe. Yeah?" you lowly said to Nat trying to reassure her.
Nat is speechless and held your hand tightly. After that, you two were silent for a while. There is no sound around the two of you. But suddenly the Hellcarrier seemed to lurch to the side with a force that made you both jerk and slide to the side. You both gasped and managed to put your hands in front of you and managed to prevent hitting the metal walls.
You groan and pushed yourself to sit up. "whatever it is, it sure makes you want to curse at everything."
Nat grumbled in agreement. "it sure did make me want to curse at everything."
"you good there, Nat? can i call you Nat.. Just Nat because it's quite brilliant, you know."
"Yeah, I'm good. Doc" Nat replied.
You puffed out a small breath. "You know, right now I should still be running away from Sontarans and then The Tardis will make an unnecessary comments because I didn't listen to his warning and then Bounty will wheel around me and make some sort of noises as if he doesn't agree with the Tardis' comments." you chuckled.
"I didn't expect that I offered my help to Fury and it turns out like this" you added.
Nat looked at you confused by what you said. "You didn't expect to come to earth?"
"crash, actually. 15 jumping through space to space and crash to earth. Rough journey, as you say." you scrunched your face and blew your lips in boredom. "pretty sure the Sontarans are a bit grumpy right now"
Nat tilted her head slightly. "why? What's The Sontarans? "
"well," you sighed. "Well, it starts from Christmas day. Not Christmas day on earth but different planet and timeline. Me and Bounty are supposed to enjoy our Christmas in Orizon. A planet with two suns and two moons. Its inhabitants are like animals but at the same time like humans. So, Sontarans are war-hungry aliens who destroy anything that interferes with their path. They look like a rotten potato. A cruel rotten potato actually. So they came to the planet and destroyed little by little the life there. Luckily, I landed there and saved a village from being destroyed by them. So when they bumping into me again, they got angry and chased me and promised that they would kill me if we met again which I just ignored because I got a lot of death threats"
"You.. save a village..and planet? Alone?" Nat blurted out with a skeptical look on her face.
"well, not actually alone.. Bounty and Tardis are with me. So, not alone. It's teamwork" You replied cheekily.
"How long have you three been traveling through space?" Nat asked.
"longer than you think" you replied simply while fidgeting with your fingers. "not only space but time too"
"you're a time travel too?" Nat started to catch up.
"mhmm... sort of.. Just wandering around fixing some technical in the Tardis and traveling thinking it's a vacation turns out it's not.. I'm more of a 'wrong place right time person' as they say"you spoke lowly.
"why the Police Box, though? Like you clarified that the Tardis is a Time Machine then why does the Tardis look like a Police Box?" Nat commented.
"the chameleon circuit is a bit of a mess up at one point. He is supposed to disguise himself as any objects depends on a certain place but the circuit got messed up on one of my travels in London 60's and it stuck into a Police Box which I find it quite brilliant and fantastic though" you explained with smile writing on your face.
Nat stared at your face with astonishing and bewildered expression on her face. This is all quite new to her. As an ex assassin and full time Agent this is the first time she encountered aliens let alone meet one. Not to mention making friend with aliens in front of her eyes. She didn't expect you to look so human. What she expected was a green colour skin or an antenna on the head.
Although, she grew up in a place where children shouldn't grow up, so no wonder Natasha has different expectations than others. Apart from her expectations of aliens because everyone has the same expectations as her, only she has quite basic expectations.
"You look like a human" Nat blurted out her thoughts.
You looked at Nat challengingly while crossing your arms over your chest. "Funny, because I think it's my kind that looks like a human first"
Nat raised her eyebrows and tilted her head a little. "then what makes you different than human?"
"I have two hearts" you muttered simply and looked around.
Nat opened her mouth but closed her mouth again as she was now a bit bewildered by what you said earlier but then she just shook off her confusing state and kept quiet.
Your and Nat's heart seems to be in a normal beating state as the feeling of fear and worry has faded now that it has been replaced with relief after the marathon with Hulk.
The Hellcarrier seems to be in critical condition with how aggressively it is shaking. At any time it will fall to the ground and everything will perish. Let's just hope that everything will be okay.
For now, the two of you just sit and be silent as the feeling of relief deepens inside you. But still the feeling of awareness with the surrounding area is now in high alerts. If it's not the Hulk, someone else will appear so you both need to be ready.
Although, you're not very good at hand combat, you at least know how to throw a punch in someone's face. You just need a good target and aim. If it's not the face then the private area is enough. It's not like you like to hurt creatures or people, it's just violence doesn't suit you. You despise that.
Because you know, your previous life has crashed into many things including violence. So you just want this life a better and new as you say.
"It's Barton, he took out ours systems. He's headed for the detention lab. Does anybody copy?" Fury's voice was heard in both of your earpieces.
Nat came out of her reverie then tapping her earpiece to reply. "This is Agent Romanoff. I copy."
You looked at Nat with a determined look on your face. Then you put on your brave face and staggered to stand up from your sitting position and held out your hand to Nat. Nat then reached for your hand and got up quickly and ran while holding your hand tightly.
"Sāikō!" (Let's go!)
─── ο½₯ ο½‘οΎŸβ˜†: *.☽ .* :β˜†οΎŸ. ───
Barton is walking along a passage catwalk. Natasha appeared behind him and he quickly turned and shoots a bow, which flies by her. She pushed his hand.
He charged her and she kicks him, then rolls underneath some pipes -- popping up on the other side of the catwalk, kicking him in the knee. He shoots another arrow, which she dodged by dropping across to the next passage. Barton followed her.
They fight along that catwalk. The fight is very even. Barton tries hitting her with the bow and she pulled on the string. They fight some more, headbutting and punching. They
both pull daggers.
Then that's when you come in behind Barton. Jumping behind his back and choking him tightly not enough to make his breath cut off just so he can be far from Nat. Nat then rushes forward and kicks Barton's hand that holds the dagger in his hand which makes the grip in his hand flinch and causes the dagger to fall from the catwalk.
Barton let out a grunt and violently he turned his body which you tightly gripped his shoulders strongly so as not to fall from him then Barton slammed your back on the rail on the catwalk so hard that you let out a pain grunt and you lost gripped from him.
You slid down to the iron floor with your squeezed eyebrows because of the great pain. Barton tried to knock you out but Nat quickly slapped Barton's hand and threw a few punches at Barton which Barton fought back seeing as he's the type who doesn't give in quickly.
Natasha grabs Barton arm and thrusts it back. He groaned as he throw another punch to his free hand. Natasha grabbed that hand too but he hoists it her against a rail. Barton grabbed Natasha's hair and pulls, exposing her neck. Romanoff sinks her teeth into his arm and he let's go Barton trying to force her down but then you tackled Barton to the rail with great force leaving Nat free from his hold.
Barton fell to the floor and groaned in pain then looked at Nat and you.
Barton then attempted to get up but could only kneel in front of the two of you. He looked at Nat with realization on his face.
"Natasha?" Barton muttered her name weakly.
Nat just kept quiet then she punched Barton's face hard until he was knocked out. You flinched when you saw the action.
Nat then looked at you sharply. You raised your hands in the surrounded sign and looked at Nat with wide eyes.
"I don't want to regenerate early" you exclaimed with hearts racing in your chest.
Nat let out a sigh of relief and leaned against the rail. You follow her action by leaning on the rail in front of her. You back is still hurting thankfully regeneration is still activated so the pain is fading. You winced painfully.
Nat noticed your face. "you alright?"
You waved your hand at her. "I'm fine" you winced as the wave of pain washed over you then disappeared. "brilliant move you did earlier"
"so was you" Nat commented.
"ngk- i just choked him then tackled him to the floor, that's all" you replied and cracked your neck hoping to pop some tense muscles in your neck.
You sigh. "it's been a long time since I did things like this. Usually I just confronted them by saying something clever. Never throw my punch around them"
"well, you better get used to it from now" Nat crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Barton who was still unconscious on the floor.
"We did good teamwork actually." you muttered and let out a tired breath.
A booming sound of footsteps started to be heard towards the two of you, making you both push yourself off the rail and prepare to fight whoever treats is coming toward you two, but then you both lost your fight stand when you found out it was just the medical team.
You both sighed in relief and went back to leaning against the rail. One of the medical team came to you both.
"you guys hurt?" the medical woman said while observing what injuries you both have.
Nat shook her head indicating 'no' same goes to you but with a quick smile.
"we're good." you assured her
the medical woman only nodded her head off then turned to look at some agents who dragged Clint's body.
Nat just stared at Clint as her mind wandered around. Her hard look face still on.
"Agent Coulson is down." Fury's voice began to echo in your earpiece.
You opened your mouth in surprise and looked at Nat who just stared at the empty space.
A wave of grief started washing over you as you felt the atmosphere there changing after the news was said.
─── ο½₯ ο½‘οΎŸβ˜†: *.☽ .* :β˜†οΎŸ. ───
Not long after, Steve, you, Tony , and Fury gathered at the conference table as the atmosphere here seemed somber and depressing. Everyone is quiet. Letting the mourning wash over them as they just lost an agent.
You fidgeted your fingers under the table in silence. Your head bowed in condolence to Coulson. Although you don't know who he is, you still honor him.
Fury who was standing started taking out a handful of cards from the pocket of his jacket and fumbling with it with his fingers.
"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. Guess he never did get you to sign them." Fury then threw the vintage cards on the table causing the cards to scattered on it.
You looked up and looked at the cards that had blood stains on it. Steve leaned slightly and reached for a piece of upside-down card that also had blood stains on it. Not expected that the card he took had a picture of himself which was full of blood stains.
"We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, location of the cube, Banner, Thor. I got nothing for you. Lost my one good eye. Think I had that coming" Fury said lowly.
Tony just looked down grieving silently. You looked at the card with your hands clasped together and placed in front of your lips.
"Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on that number, although, because I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, Stark knows this, called the Avengers Initiative." Fury walked around the table slowly.
Stark stared into space with no reaction after Fury mentioned his name. You looked at Stark and observed him silently. Fury reached between Steve and Tony and put his hands on Tony's chair.
"The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes." Fury added somberly.
Tony came out of his reverie and quickly got up from the chair without looking at anyone there, he walked out of there. You look down in thoughts. Fury was just silent when he saw Tony's reaction as he rushed out without saying a word. Fury looked down somberly.
"Well, it's an old fashioned notion."
"The Avengers is a thing that considers remarkable people as heroes. Do you consider me a hero if you yourself see me as a threat?" You asked suddenly.
Fury raised his head to look at you however, he was unable to respond to the question you asked him. He was stunned and didn't know what to say. However, he just kept quiet.
You stared at Fury for a long time and sighed heavily, you got up and walked out of there just like Tony without uttering any words.
─── ο½₯ ο½‘οΎŸβ˜†: *.☽ .* :β˜†οΎŸ. ───
You return to the laboratory on the Hellcarrier which is still in a state of destruction, but there are some ship assistants who are maintaining the destroyed laboratory. Some swept some materials such as iron, cement and glass on the floor and some lifted some rumbles that were there. Some people gave orders to their staff.
You walked as your eyes darted around the lab. So many things happened after you regenerated into this life not long after the things you went through before. All this happened at the same time. Every moment there is bound to be a disaster.
Just one normal day for you. Even one day is okay, at least you can relax. But that's the destiny of being a Time Lady. Running around and never stopped running.Β  This is not what you expect after deciding to travel around the universe. What you expect is just to travel around with joy and without killing or violence. But you seem to be wrong.
You sighed briefly and walked towards where your TARDIS was parked. When you get to where the TARDIS is, you widen your eyes after you find that the TARDIS is not where he should be.
you anxiously looked around trying to find a glimpse of the blue police box but it wasn't in the lab.
"oh no" you put your hands on your head and ruffled your hair anxiously as you paced around the lab trying to find the TARDIS.
You then caught a maintenance staff there by gripping his hand. The staff looked at you with wide eyes and a scared face.
"Do you see the old blue police box parked here?" you asked him
The staff who still looked scared nodded while swallowing. "it's.. in suite 17.. lower suite on the ship"
"why did you put him somewhere else?" you released your hold on his arm.
"we have too, Ma'am. It's the place where all the things that shouldn't be put there" he stuttered.
You grunted and walked past him with a tired expression on your face. "thank you" you said to him before walked out of the lab.
After several steps and passing several rooms, you finally arrive at suite 17 where the TARDIS is. You then without any thought, entered the TARDIS and closed the TARDIS door firmly before leaning against the door and sliding down to the floor. You bring your legs to your chest and put your head on your knees.
You don't know why you suddenly feel down and guilty about the incident with Coulson. It's like something has been triggered deep inside you. Grief and sense of loss is what opens up inside you. Something you wished to forget but you can't. You are familiar with that feeling because your life before was a bit of a mess and you lost too many things you loved such as your own planet. Although it's because of you, you still feel the loss is quite big. Like you carry a big boulder on your back and walk around the world. Just like you bring that feeling to wander around a universe.
You should help them but why did it turn out like that? You thought your job was just to track the tesseract and know Loki's plan, but why does there have to be such an incident? No wonder Fury is still hesitant to trusted you.
You sighed heavily and hid your face between your legs and chest. The TARDIS' light starts to light up, meaning that the TARDIS has woken up from its 'shutdown' mood. Bounty wheeled towards you fast and excited as always but when he saw you, he frowned.
He makes a sound as if asking if you are alright or not. He wheeled closer towards you and gently he bumped himself into you. Trying to take your mind off the negative things you think. You lifted your head and watched him through your glossy eyes. Your face is red and tears stream down your cheeks like a river.
You then slowly put your hands around Bounty. You hugged his robot body tightly before letting out a sob.Β  Bounty's robot hands stretch to become long and hugged your body tightly. He patted his hand on your back like a father persuading his child. He let out a comforting sound.
The TARDIS, which sensed the gloomy emotions, began to play his part by playing a song that made you feel relief. Lights began to illuminate the control console.
"Why do things like this have to happen? I didn't expect things like this to happen like this! I should have helped them but now. They have lost one of their friends. If only I could track the cube and prevent it from happening.. All this wouldn't have happened. Now Loki is gone and God knows where the cube has gone" you sobbed.
"You can't prevent things you don't expect. Sometimes you just have to let them happen" TARDIS hummed.
"but why does it have to be like this?" you asked "Why is it that every time I step somewhere there is bound to be trouble? Am I the bearer of bad luck?"
"no" the TARDIS denied. "You're not the bearer of bad luck, Y/n. If you were the bearer of bad luck, no one would call you a hero, instead they would call you something inappropriate. Trouble always follows you, yes, but you know what you're doing for it. You always save something that happens at the end of the day" TARDIS added sternly.
"But, their friend. I don't-"
"Death is one of the things we cannot prevent. Until someone dies, it means their life story is over. If death can be prevented, Gallifrey will definitely still exist" TARDIS said.
You are silent. Bounty parted away from your embrace and stared at your face with concern. He knows you like the back of his mechanical hands. You don't always break down this bad before. In the many regenerations you have gone through, this regeneration is the most emotional. It's like all the suffering things that you went through in the past regeneration are finally released in this regeneration.
He feels sorry for you who have to go through all those things every time you regenerate. It's not something we can live like nothing happened and make a new life, no. Instead it is something that you bring pain from the past to the present. Until the time it will be released.
"Whatever happened before, it's not your fault. It's never your fault. Everything happened for a reason. So get yourself together and fight it." TARDIS encouraged you.
You stared at the console with new found feelings in your chest. Something like passion and burning in your chest. Something you feel you can do without fear. You looked at Bounty who was still looking at you with concern. Bounty nodded with determination.
You shifted your gaze to the console again before wiping your wet face on your sleeve and standing firm. Your face is tight, eyebrows furrowed with determination.
"right, find Loki and finish him off" You rushed to the console and started pressing various buttons and pulling levers.
The TARDIS signature sound began to sound majestic and loud. Marking he is ready. Bounty bouncing around excitedly.
"Loki is the kind of guy who likes to press something that hurts everyone, especially something that makes that person breakdown. He is also the kind of guy who likes attention and pride in himself. He wants everyone to know who he is and what his position is in a situation such as now. He wants to rule the world. He wants to be king" you pulled the screen to your eye level, examining every coordinate above it.
"And?" The TARDIS interrupted.
"he wants an audience, he wants people to celebrate him, he wants servants and everything a king needs for himself such as a throne. He wants people to know his name and what his purpose is in a certain situation, he wants a big castle so that people know his wealth , he... oh" you widened your eyes after you realized something.
Something very obvious. Building, name, and power. The ugly Stark building like Steve mentioned before. It has the power that Loki needs to activate the Tesseract. You frankly pressed the TARDIS button quickly. The TARDIS wheezing and whoosing in every timeline before it landed in the middle of the room where Tony and Steve were. Tony and Steve were stunned to see the TARDIS suddenly appear in the middle of the room. Mouth agape, they backed off to give the TARDIS room to land properly.
The door was opened by you with a stern face. You quickly got out of the TARDIS and Bounty followed behind.
"STARK!" you shouted his name.
"Doc?" Tony replied confused.
"Isn't it a good day to visit your ugly building?" you give him hints.
Tony was silent for a while but after a few seconds his eyes widened and he looked at you with his mouth open.
"son of a bitch" Tony exclaimed.

@kemikorosu whispered: TAKE ME INSTEAD | Accepting.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β THE LAST DAY OF THE TIME WAR.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β A death ray rang out through the halls of The Dalek Command Spire. The Doctor hit the floor, keeping his back turned toward The Dalek Time Strategist, who continuously blasted beams at Lumine's Friend- no matter how much he kept getting back up. From the top of the spire, they could see all of Teyvat. Leather-jacketed arms protected a small, brown, clockwork device- the cause of all this. The Moment. Part of a phrase he'd been hearing during THE LAST GREAT TIME WAR comprised of that word, "The Moment is coming..." People would say to him. He knew, in his heart, what that moment was- but now that it was here, in his hands, he had no idea what it meant. The Dalek Time Strategist shouted at him,
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β "The Moment has come DOC-TOR!! YOUR MOMENT FOR EXTERMINATION!!!" It shouted. A Dalek Gunstick cut him off, blasting over the control panel he was ducking under for cover, "EXTERMINATE!! EXTERMINATEEEE!!" It screamed out, like a wild banshee. The War Doctor hunched forward when sparks crashed off the control console. The Stranger was separated from his friend, so here he was- the nameless one, trying to do everything he could to think up a plan- the stress in his mind heightened by the fear the sight of bodies in the central spire control room invoked within him. "There's nothing you can do to stop me, Time Strategist!! I have The Moment!! I'll use it if I have to!! Don't force my hand!!" The Doctor shouted toward The High Ranking Strategist.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Another EXPLOSION echoed out as the Gunstick was fired again at the control panel- The Warrior shot up, moving to dive toward more stable cover in the room. An extermination ray missed him by a hair, but he scurried behind the cover. Pot shots were made at him the whole time, some that narrowly caught him. "I'm warning you!!" He cried out, but The Dalek cut him off- "YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW THE DEVICE WORKS!! YOU WOULD CONDEMN BILLIONS OF LIVES- IT IS AGAINST YOUR NATURE, DOCTOR." It shouted at him, but The Stranger spat back in a voice high with rage, and fury, but plagued by uncertainty and witless chance. "I'm NOT The Doctor- Strategist- you have NO IDEA what I'm CAPABLE OF!!" He shouted back, but an extermination ray scorched the side of his cover- causing sparks and smoke to scream their way at him.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β He started fumbling at the box, twisting its cogs and coils into place. It just hissed at him, and the interface grew hot- but the power source inside seemed to activate. "C'mon- C'mon!!" He shook at the box before another laser scorched the side of his cover. "You blasted box of SCRAP!! Work Damn you!!" He bashed at the side of the box, and the metal suddenly grew hot to the touch, causing The Doctor to drop it. A pot shot from the Dalek Gunstick nicked the side- causing a cascade of energy to ripple out. The Doctor was thrown across the control room and THROUGH the glass of the viewing window. The Glass was already pretty dinged up so when The Doctor broke against it, he went through it- rolling onto the observation railing and nearly rolling off the side before he got his hands into the grating- holding over the edge for dear life.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β The Time Strategist turned toward The Moment- quietly gliding over to it before fixing its eyestalk upon the box. Lumine's friend started pulling himself up but felt his hands were too ashy and sweaty to get a firm grip. He briefly turned out behind him- to see MONDSTADT, on fire... smoke rising over the mountains near Liyue- fire on the water. The Daleks had DESECRATED The History of Teyvat- and they were slaughtering its people. The Time War did this to Teyvat- THE WAR DOCTOR brought them here when he'd gone snooping through the Abyss- The TIMELORDS did this... The WAR did this... He set fire to Lumine's second home. So he had to PUT IT OUT. "DALEKS ARE THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, DOCTOR- THERE IS NOTHING WE COULD NOT OVERCOME. NOT THE ARCHONS, OR THE CELESTIALS, NOT YOU OR THE TIMELORDS! WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS!!" A quick potshot caused The Doctor to fall back over the edge, dangling by one hand- yet again.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β The Doctor and The Strategist heard the door to the command chamber open up. Just underneath The Grating, he was hanging from the edge of- The War Doctor could see, and his eyes widened in horror. "THE CELESTIAL PRINCESS-" He heard The Strategist start- "LUMINE!! LUMINE, GET OUT OF HERE!!" Her friend would shout next, swiping his other arm away, causing his grip on the edge of the railing to get worse. He brought his other hand up, attempting to pull himself up. He heard the gunstick fire off again- but didn't hear it make an impact, so he assumed she'd dodged. He heard the sound of her celestial energy activating, though he felt a gust of wind just above him. He felt hands grab his forearm and begin to pull.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β "No!! NO!! Lumine!! Save yourself!! SAVE-" Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β "MAXIMUM EXTERMINATION!!!!"
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β He saw the blast hit her- she'd already pulled him up enough to where he could get a better hold on the railing. He saw her skeleton through her flesh, the blast lit it up a transparent blue. He heard her let out a scream of absolute agony as she used the last of her strength to hoist him up onto the platform before she lost it all in a fraction of a second and sunk off of the railing. She let him go before she did, so she didn't pull him down with her. THE WAR DOCTOR watched her fall down beneath the tower, into the water of Monsdtadt. Meanwhile, The Words were stuck in his throat- the tears rolling out and his eyes froze in shock. "... A Victim of your emotions, Timelord. YOU TOO SHALL SOON JOIN HER- THE ENEMY OF THE DALEKS WILL BE EXTERMINATED..!!!"
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β The War Doctor didn't even want to close his eyes, he was just still frozen in shock. He muttered, "Just do it... for heaven's sake..." And heard the gunstick fire- but when the sounds around him muted... all except for his sweat rolling down his cheek, his lungs heaving out oxygen, and his lips parting to release it all, when he felt his heart still beating, he looked toward the Time Strategist and saw time FROZEN. The ash, the embers in the air, the movement of the clouds, and the smoke in the sky- he saw it all FROZEN. His eyes moved toward the presence in front of him, "L-Lumine?" He almost cried out, but soon his logic overpowered his emotions, especially at how daunting this version of his friend was,
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β She looked... older... there was a brightness behind a dull window of age, her hair was much longer and her clothes looked to be like that of a civilian- not of an adventurer. "The Moment... You're the interface...!" He looked, scurrying up to his feet. "Y-You're giving me a peak into her future?? She survived?? B-But how-?" He looked toward the interface, showing him a much older Lumine. One who seemed to show her age more physically than the version he traveled with. He watched as she broke away, standing before The Time Strategist, giving him a tap on the eyestalk- The War Doctor backed away and hyperventilation came on. "WHAT... IS... HAPPENING? MOVEMENT, INCAPABLE- WEAPON SYSTEMS OFFLINE-" It cried, which calmed The Doctor down a bit as he watched The Moment Interface.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β "All of this... A senseless waste of life."
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β She turned to The Doctor, "I will fix this for you- but you must fix this." She spoke, and no sound came from her lips- but he could hear her voice in his mind, like a weight upon his head. He shook his head, feeling somewhat dizzy- until he felt a power pull his eyes open. The Doctor watched as The Moment waved her arm through the air, like wiping away a stain from a window. The Strategist cried out, "CEASE! CEASE THIS AT ONCE!!! I CANNOT DIE!! I MUST STILL SERVE!! THE!! EMPEROR!!! CEASE- CEASE!!" The Dalek cried until it let out a guttural scream as it was burnt away in fire and dust. "I did not know what cruelty was when they'd asked for my power, so I saw no reason to say no..." She looked toward him, The War Doctor- and he looked toward her, "Until I saw you mourn for your friend... and I thought, 'No More.'.." She smiled tearfully at him before suddenly her resolve hardened and she began turning her hand back as if she was rotating a dial backward.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β The Doctor saw in SECONDS- moments that were HOURS passed backward across him like a VHS Rewinding, but it was like being in the middle of it. He saw those who'd been tortured, killed- Daleks that had been detonated, or caught in the crossfire- walls that had been destroyed, buildings annihilated, fires started- he saw them all undone. He fell to his knees, feeling The Timeline shift around him. Inherently, as a Timelord, he felt the pain of the Timeline via The DAMAGE The Daleks had done... but now, he felt the wound in time being healed. Through tears, The War Doctor laughed. "Oh, yes! Yes, please!! I beg you, let me have a day like this- Please!!" He outstretched his arms, crying out in joy.
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β "EVERYBODY LIVES!!!! JUST THIS ONCE!!! EVERYBODY LIVES!!!!"
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β In a matter of moments, Mondstadt's statues, Liyue's walls- Inazuma's oceans- they were, all of them, returned to normal. The Doctor was in Mondstadt's square, and out through the gate, parked up on a little hill... he could see The TARDIS. In his mind, he could FEEL the Timelock he'd placed being rebuilt, strengthening- even!! He'd APPEALED to the CONSCIOUSNESS of a WEAPON, and the WEAPON had cried out that what The Daleks were doing was WRONG!! Now, all The Doctor worried about was the fact that he looked like a nutter, sitting on his knees in the town square, crying- but he was laughing now. However, soon he looked up toward The TARDIS- on the hill... and he saw The Moment, fading away- and in the back of his mind... he could hear the clicking of the cogs stationed in her box.

The Doctor let out a quiet wheeze after a hearty chuckle when he saw the trio reunited. "Just this once, Everybody lives..." He muttered, before picking himself back up... Just one more good and happy moment before he throws himself back into the fire. He stares at her for a moment with a softened smile on his face, but his gaze remained hard and reserved. "...No More..." He mumbled quietly, remembering what the Interface had said to him.

Doctor Who has made a lot of exciting announcements recently but a lot of the specifics of what these projects will look like has been left open to speculation. So here is my
LIST OF RTD2 PREDICTIONS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER
My source for all of this is that I made it the fuck up. Read at your own risk.
Who is this for?
First things first. Usually a new showrunner’s first job would be to introduce old fans to the new face of the show while also simultaneously introducing new fans to the show for the first time. My prediction here is that those two jobs will be split between the 60th Trilogy and the 8 episodes of Series 14 proper. As in, the 60th anniversary exists to reintroduce old fans to the show, whether they’ve kept up with it or not. Meanwhile, series 14 will serve as a mostly standalone experience that can be enjoyed both buy new and old fans alike. οΏΌ zooming in on the 60th specifically I think that it is being designed in a way to attract older fans who stopped watching sometime after RTDs initial run, by making it look like a superficial return to the glory days of series 4. But as Ill also explain more below I think in a lot of ways the 60th anniversary specials will serve to catch those fans up on how this doctor has emotionally changed and grown over the 12 years since we last saw David Tennant as the Doctor.οΏΌ
Is Neil Patrick Harris The Toymaker?
Yea I think so but also that’s not really the point. I think whether he is the Toymaker or not, we can safely assume that he’s the one behind the doctors regeneration being weird, that he is the true big bad of the trilogy, and that he has some kind of sinister reason for wanting to return the doctor to this famous face. Moreover even if he’s not the Toymaker I’m predicting he’ll have some weird reality warping powers like the Toymaker does. He’s not the Master. Neither is Gwilliam. We won’t see the master til 2025 at least.
β€œI don’t know who I am anymore.”
Since the finale of Series 12, the Doctor has been struggling with accepting their own identity and her own understanding of their past . 13 seemed to make peace with these things at the end of Flux, but being forced to wear this face from their past and strange clothes, I think will dredge up those thoughts of not being in control of their own identity.
And if the Toymaker is deliberately attacking The Doctor well… that would have been par for the course for the Tenth Doctor, but the 11th Doctor spent a lot of time trying to erase the Legend of the Doctor from record. Specifically so that he and his friends wouldn’t be targets like this. Will this evoke the righteous fury of a timelord we know Tennant for or the frustration of a man who believes he’s part of the problem?
And of course. The companion being targeted is the one he harmed. The one he made forget him. The one that could die just from him warning her about this new danger. The 12th doctor faced dilemmas and repeatedly had to learn to respect his companions’ wishes and learn to let them go. And I think seeing so many of the Fam thriving in POTD only hammered that point home. The Doctor would not have erased Donna’s memory while she pleaded with him not to if he’s faced with that again. I don’t think he could.
My point being that the 60th seems perfectly designed to highlight how the character of The Doctor has changed since RTD and Tennant were last the ones telling this story. I think a lot of people are expecting RTD to kind of… clean up chibnall’s mess but I disagree. I think he’s gonna take the most compelling emotional beats for the character, highlight how what they’ve been through has changed him, and then use the momentum of that angst and inner conflict to launch the Doctor forward into the next arc.
The 60th’s Plot and Pacing
The 60th is gonna be a trilogy, right?
PART ONE: So the Doctor’s trying to track down who or what interfered with his regeneration, but he’ll quickly be sidetracked by the other stuff going on before he can learn anything definitive. Yasmin Finney’s character finds Beep the Meep’s ship and is trying to figure out what he’s up to. And ofc Wilf and Sylvia are trying to make sure Donna stays out of weirdness and doesn’t remember anything. I think the alien wraith soldier dudes from the trailers will be closing in on the Nobles, but slowed down by UNIT, through the episode too. By the end of the first special, it’ll be clear that Beep the Meep is a bad guy, the other aliens that we just stopped (or only pissed off) weren’t bad guys, and something will happen that’ll trigger Donna’s memory.
So then special #2, Donna is Donna again, but of course she’s dying. But she’s in a state of grace, only occasionally glitching out and collapsing from pain in her head. The Doctor, Wilf and her are trying to find a solution while also dealing with Beep, who’s building the big ticket from the trailer for some nefarious reason. The Doctor is also bring haunted by the Toymaker and more things from his past are showing up, out of place, which the Doctor does not have time to figure out. Things will come down to the wire. And either Beep will be defeated OR Donna is saved but not both. And something happens to break The Toymaker’s control over what’s going on.
The third episode will be trippy and weird and fun. I think we’ll be fully in the Toymaker’s realm. But his connection with the Doctor will be broken. Whatever he did to force the Doctor into this face and this fun little outfit will be coming undone. His own face will be shifting between the regenerations of the past and the future alike, as he battles the ghosts of his past through the Toymaker’s realm. Eventually he wins, of course, via the combined best traits of all his faces and all his friends. But I do think Donna will die. No way around that, I don’t think. And a lonely 15th Doctor will return to the TARDIS. But with a bit more hope than I’m describing here.
Fun and Familiar Faces
I don’t think Tennant, Tate, and Cribbins (RIP) are the only returning cast members in the 60th.
I’m gonna go ahead and say that RTD pulled some kind of miracle and convinced all the living doctor actors to return for the third part of the trilogy. Do I think that’s true? No but this is a post of wild predictions I’m making all this up. I’m saying we’ll see ALL of them. Yes all of them.
Amy, Rory, Clara, Rose, Nardole and/or Bill will all show up specifically because it doesn’t make sense. The Toymaker is using his reality warping abilities to bring them here. Like Donna, when the Toymaker is defeated they will fade from the Doctor again. But they’ll be able to give him something that makes the parting easier.
Beep and the Toymaker won’t be the only weird niche characters either but if I knew who specifically to name they wouldn’t be weird and obscure now would they? These would be more like cameos or have a weirdly specific story purpose I couldn’t possibly predict though.
I think Kate Stewart will be in it along with Martha Jones. I don’t think every member of the Companion support group will return but they’ll AT LEAST be namedropped as how Kate met Martha. I think the torchwood team will get referenced as well. Though here’s the thing… this last group is a thing I’m not predicting for the 60th but rather for …
Series 14
Which won’t be called that. It’ll be called Series 1 of the 15th Doctor. But here’s what I think for this season. I think it’ll be very structurally similar to what RTD did before, but with the fat trimmed and a STRONG focus on a serialized character arcs that continue from one episode to the next. Going episode by episode I think it’ll look something like this.
The Christmas Special- this’ll be Doctor Who at its biggest and most festive and fun BUT more importantly this is the episode more than anything else that’ll be trying to draw in completely new fans. It’ll be Ruby Sunday’s story more than the Doctor’s. Think Rose and Christmas invasion rolled into one story and on Disney budget.
Future- I think the near future political episode we’ve seen set photos from will be early in the series and will largely focus on some scary realities of the present and offering a possibly hopeful vision for how they’ll eventually be conquered.
Historical- I think the obligatory trip to the past will focus on social issues in some way rather than β€œooh what if a historical figure met an alien but thought it was a creature from folklore instead!” Like a lot of the historicals were in RTD’s first run.
CLASSIC ENEMY- real UNIT introducing invasion hours. Ruby Sunday will really be tested in her role as companion of the Doctor while the Doctor themself is in their element, facing the devil they know. Extra drama? UNIT being allied with Graham’s support group means that Ruby will become aware she’s not the first earth girl to travel with the Doctor.
Real character building hours- think β€œFathers Day” or β€œAmy’s choice”. This one will be a little slower and really develop why Ruby’s relationship with the Doctor is different from past companions. It’ll also further whatever the Series Arc mystery is and. Big prediction here. The Doctor will start to suspect that there’s answers to the big mystery in the Fob Watch from Flux. The context of this will be explained to Ruby and new viewers.
Experimental Episode- think β€œBlink” or β€œSleep No More”. Good seasons of doctor who need at least one episode that really fucks with your idea of how a doctor who story should be structured. And if RTD doesn’t stay true to that I’ll be annoyed. Though, that said, I don’t think it should come in the form of a Doctor-lite story because we’re getting spin-offs soon and those will more than fill that void.
And then of course. The two part finale….
Finale Cliffhanger
Similar to the centenary and the 60th I think the finale will have multiple villains all pop up at once. One will be a classic monster, another will be original to this season. One or both will have been established in a previous episode. The newer villain will be like. Giving UNIT trouble on the ground. The older ones will take Ruby Sunday. The Doctor will be forced to run and fully convinced that they must open the Fob Watch and absorb old memories to solve this mess.
And that’s it. That’s not how I expect part one of that finale to end that’s how I expect the season to end. 3 way cliffhanger leading into
The Spin-offs
RUBY SUNDAY VS THE DALEKS… or whatever the Classic Villain is. There’s a rumor that doctor who monsters are getting their own spin-offs. But like? Doctor who needs a hero to give hope and charm to the story. So. I think Ruby Sunday is gonna get a whole show where she’s gotta face down the Dalek Empire. That’s what I think. But she’ll also get a new companion of her own so this can be viewed as a stand alone story, separate from Ruby’s adventures with the Doctor.
U.N.I.T. - spiritual successor to Torchwood but now under Kate Stewart’s management. Instead of being more adult in a oversexualized way it’s gonna be darker in a more β€œsuperheroes aren’t real. The Doctor and jack always leave eventually. Your greatest defenders are an underfunded group of adults who don’t know what the hell they’re doing.” Kinda vibe. The season starts with a new recruit helping secure a partial victory against the villains introduced in the main show and by the end of the season the new recruit, Martha, Gwen, Kate Stewart etc are facing Cybermen or Sontarans or some major threat that they definitely can’t handle cleanly without the Doctor.
THE SECRET DOCTOR - Jo Martin Doctor series where she fights gods and monsters at the behest of Division, eventually culminating in her attempting to leave and uncovering a secret that helps the 15th doctor in the present day. She also gets her own companion so this can be viewed as THAT character’s story, separate from the LORE.
Series 15 and Beyond
We return to the 15th doctor in the 2024 Christmas special and it leaves a lot unresolved. The Doctor gets a new companion in series 15. New spin-offs about old companions and new heroes facing classic enemies, maybe even the Master gets a show, all pop up and intersect with the Doctor, Ruby, the UNIT crew, etc in small ways. eventually we build up to an Avengers level crossover that puts Journeys End to SHAME.
That’s all goodnight.

Season 3 Episode 8: Human Nature/Episode 9: The Family of Blood
AHHHH DAVID TENNANT IS SUCH A GOOD ACTORRRRR AUGHHHHH GOD THIS WAS SO AMAZING!!!! god i love this premise so much, and the setting of the school and john smith as a teacher was so good!!! martha jones you are so strong, the racism she had to face from everyone around her even the doctor not remembering how important she was to him, its so good. and john smith falls in love!!! he falls in love so easily as humans often do, something the doctor hesitates to do. honestly i feel so sad for joan, she found love too and watched him die, sacrificing himself for the sake of not only the world but the universe at large, i knew she wasn't going to become a companion but god did i want her to be, even if the doctor couldn't love her as quickly or as freely as john did. and the battle at the school, the doctor unable to shoot even scarecrow, the interesting side characters too, for as little as she was in this episode i really felt for jenny, her actress did a great job before and after she was taken over by the family, this episode has an amazingly strong ending, with the doctor acting as if he was still human, deliberately destroying their ship, it was so damn good, and tim growing up, seeing the doctor and Martha again in his old age, still holding onto that pocket watch for dear life, and johns time flashfoward thing where he saw the life he could have with joan 😭 to the point of growing old and dying, something he can't do as a timelord 😭😭😭😭 godddd i wanted john to have a happy ending so bad but he couldn't, because hes innocent, hes a real human being even if he wasn't born as one, and he had to sacrifice himself for the greater good, and when the doctor returns he punished the family for what they did, as they realized him running was mercy for them, and that in his calm fury, he didn't give them a second chance

The groan originates from a man with raven black hair and burning crimson eyes. He immediately stands up from the seat he's sitting in, The Highest Honor, Neuvillette remains seated firmly in his seat as the man before him buries his hands in his pockets. He's wearing black trousers and laced-up boots, a dark red sweatshirt, and a thinner dark grey, unzipped hoodie underneath a thick black cotton coat. His hands remain firmly buried in his pants pockets, causing his coat edges to part.

He slammed his hand against the desk, fury bristling beneath his features. "The one your guards took off of me when they illegally searched me per your archon's orders!" He took the time to remind the judge exactly how much trouble Fontaine had given him just for stepping foot inside the nation, in the first place. Now he was being asked for more?
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Ž"Your assistance within the recent court trial was of great help to the situation as well as the people of Fontaine, but it did not clear you of the initial charge." The invisible finger was pointed, causing The Doctor to shift into a slump and release a defeated yet annoyed sigh. "You are not only an outlander, Doctor... but you are a meddler. And I still find myself wary of you and your kin... after your war nearly ravaged the whole of reality."
"How many times do I have to tell you, the war isβ€”" "So you have said before, and yet still I find myself cautious of the survivor."
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€ŽHis hands raised in protest, "Fine." He crosses his arms immediately over his chest, slouching in the seat across from Neuvillette's throne. "I'll be on call today, but as soon as I'm finished with this benign nonsense, you're going to give me the key to my ship back... or else we're going to have more problems, Neuvillette." He exhaled, watching the judge nearly roll his eyes at such a threat. The judge simply rolled his shoulders and remained upright.

That is if you intend to still come and go as freely as you have been for the last few decades." He gave The Doctor a narrow stare before the timelord rolled his hand round and round. Note to selfβ€” no more Fontaine visits. At least he's beginning to understand what ruined his reputation when he visited during his earlier centuries.

"Oh right. Because they have the key to my tardis."
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž Squinting softly at the sunlight as he headed across the bridge, he checked the watch under his sleeve. He was running a bit late, but he was... power-walking... at the latest. He eventually pushed his way through the doors and saw the greenish tones of the room... walking through the lavish hallways, he spotted the mini archon immediately, meaning "The Knave" he was told about must be the one facing her back to him. He eventually stands between the two, rubbing the bridge of his nose in contempt and annoyance.
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž "So terribly sorry for being late." He immediately sat between the two and pulled a cup of tea toward him. Immediately, he very quietly added eight sugar cubes to the tea and stirred quietly before looking towards the other two, "Unless you were just starting... in which case..." He looked toward Lady Furina after sipping his tea, "Do not... Mind me at all. I'm here for the tea, truth be told." He mumbled, adding two more sugar cubes.
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž His eyes did shoot over to The Knave, an eyebrow quirked when their pupils meant, but he instead returned to stirring his tea when the Hydro Archon explained his presence. How she couldn't have more than "just herself" at a tea ceremony. Something stupid. He eventually just sort of tuned it out and stared at a painting on the wall.
β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž β€Žβ€β€β€Ž What is he even doing here?

i have come back to this excellent post regarding the 'human nature', 'family of blood' two parter:
because it's such a good read but they highlighted something that has knocking in the back of my brain:
that whole scene with the doctor and joan, you watch and ask why he's doing this. at the very least, it seems to be there solely to highlight his flaws, and rtd said the doctor's arc this series was him learning that he still doesn't know as much about humans as he should, hence his behaviour, not just this scene but the whole series. but more specifically, the problem with this scene, is that it makes it seem that the doctor doesn't have a good enough motive to do what he did to the family of blood. the doctor is so blase about john smith, "he's in here somewhere" but the doctor is reborn out of john's suicide. for a long time i thought the reason the doctor does that to the family of blood was because of his anger of what happened to john, the school, joan and martha, but mainly his memories and experience as john with joan. they 'rob' him or 'tease' a life he could never have. but he's so indifferent in regards to john later that it doesn't seem to ring very true.
the doctor doesn't think much of john smith, why would he, john smith is a story he made up. he's not real. he asserts he could be more than him to joan. and before john changes, when he holds the watch in his hands, you literally hear the doctor's voice whisper 'little man.' when joan asks him if he could change he says without hesitation 'no'. so if it is not for john or joan, why do that to the family of blood? was it because they forced him to hide - it's implied it was his idea, but once again, a voice from the watch that sounds an awful lot like mother of mine tells him to 'hide' in 'human nature' implying they were just herding him into a corner like...well...the hunters they are. was it revenge against that?
i touched upon that as a reasoning in one of my posts but even then - if that's the case, why didn't he just deal with them in the first place. brother of mine says he was being kind. he was giving them a chance? but martha asserts that the doctor's plan was essentially to wait it out for them to die like mayflies. that's his kindess? that's one thing. but their punishment? he gives them a fate worse than death with seemingly little effort.
i have a feeling that his reasoning has little to do with the entire 1913 situation at all now.

The vase hit the wall so hard, it shattered into a thousand pieces as if it had been made of sugar-glass. A priceless, ancient artifact. Irreplaceable. Gone in an instant. The chair -- still ornate, but decidedly less valuable -- splintered and flew apart as The Hound hurled it with all his strength so that it hit the wall above the fireplace, taking down paintings and the whole of the mantlepiece with it as it came crashing back to the ground.
"They CANNOT do this to me!" he raged, half blind with fury. His fingers found a crystal decanter and he threw it into the fireplace after the chair, watching as the container burst like an overripe grape and the rich alcohol sent flames leaping up the inside of the firebox. "COWARDS. IDIOTS! I warned them! If they had only listened to what I had said, the 19th Century would not now be LOST! And they expect, now that the Daleks have gained a foothold in the 20th, that they can simply send in another legion with no consequence?! The timelines around Earth are BARELY holding together as it is! I WILL NOT be dragged into another of their messes! I WILL NOT! They cannot send me back to the front! I won't do it! I WON'T GO! I won't-"
The sudden, unexpected sensation of arms wrapping around him jerked The Hound from his reverie in surprise. Reflexively he shoved Victorious back, arm raised, ready to strike at him, but the other Timelord was quicker. The Hound hissed, more from anger than pain, as Victorious grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him in, pinning him against his chest. He struggled violently. Could not break free. Stilled.
For a moment he just stood there, breathing heavily, shaking with rage as Victorious' grip on his body grew softer -- a firm, comforting grip, an unexpected haven of deep warmth and security.
He couldn't remember the last time anyone had tried to touch him without meaning harm.
He hadn't been held in centuries.
Tears sprang unexpectedly to The Hound's eyes, and he crumbled into Victorious' touch, burying his face in his parallel's shoulder as he allowed himself to be hugged. He wrapped his arms around Victorious, fighting back the desperate need to cry.
"I don't want to go..."

He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing. The fury of the Time Lord. And then we discovered why. Why this Doctor who had fought with gods and demons, why he’d run away from us and hidden. He was being kind. He wrapped my father in unbreakable chains, forged in the heart of a dwarf star. He tricked my mother into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy, to be imprisoned there forever. He still visits my sisterβ€” once a year, every year. I wonder if one day he might forgive her. But there she is! Can you see her? He trapped her inside a mirror. Every mirror. If ever you look at your reflection and see something move behind youβ€”just for a secondβ€”that’s her. That’s always her. As for me, I was suspended in time. And the Doctor put me to work standing over the fields of England, as their protector. We wanted to live forever. So the Doctor made sure that we did.

i just rewatched the christmas invasion & i am still furious.Β  it’s been 15 years & i didn’t even start watching this show until 2012 but i am still furious about harriet jones.Β  humanity has the right to make their own mistakes.Β  they have the right to grow up & protect themselves as they see fit, the doctor doesn’t get to patronise them & act like he ought to be their main means of defending himself, as though he’s always going to be there & they should build their civilisation to depend on that.Β  the doctor certainly has no right to expect them to value his moral code over their own self-preservation.Β  harriet jones is a world leader, not his companion, & if anyone gets to judge her it’s her electorate, not him, jesus christ.
