Sharpening your senses: a guide to deduction

Permit me to extend my welcome, dear visitors. I truly enjoyed making today's fascinating post.

Together, we shall traverse the labyrinth of deduction.

Senses, are one of the most important parts in deducing. You may ask why?

Well, how are you going to notice body language without your sharp eyes? How are you going to identify perfumes without your sense of smell?

Senses are the first thing you need to sharpen if you want to make accurate deductions.

So, let us explore the delicate steps that will awaken your senses to help you make deductions.

P.B.O: Pause, breathe, observe. Your brain is normally experiencing beta waves when you are awake (awake, alert, engaged). In this method, I want you to fall into the state of theta waves. When you are in the theta state, you experience a very deep state of relaxation. You can achieve this mindful state by meditating, paying attention to how you breathe and fully engage with your surroundings. Be present.

The game is on: This part is my favourite. You can sharpen your senses while having fun! For example, you can start identifying different perfumes while wearing a blindfold, or you can blindly touch various textures to learn the differences. These simple games can be incredibly helpful!

Train your eyes: Imagine the observation process as something like this: you are standing in a museum → there is a painting on a wall → in the painting you can see a flower bouquet → the bouquet has red flowers → the flowers are red roses → one of the red flowers is different → the difference is the shape → that one flower is not a red rose

The point I'm trying to tell you is: zoom in.

Try to zoom into the big picture you got. Many passengers walk past the painting without noticing the flower, but you observed.

*but remember! DO NOT forget the whole image. Sometimes the answer may be staring at your face.

okayokayokay so 11 days for 4 assignments... ignoring how the basic human functions, bc meals etc. will just happen as they happen, and minus 24hrs to ensure reasonability... so 10 days for 4 assignments. 240hrs for 4 assignments (2x ri's, 1x inq. report, 1x essay) 240/4 = 60hrs each. // however inq. report is half complete, so this time will go towards the ri's, leaving: 75hrs = each ri, 60hrs = essay, 30hrs = inq.report.

I’m seriously doubting myself.

Would ending with “ The game is on/afoot!” be a bit too on the nose/corny/cringy/etc?

Good news though, I made it to 1215 words! Yayayayayayay. I try to make it to 1k words before I’m minimally satisfied with a chapter length. Preferably, I like 2+k per chapter but sometimes the characters just do things outside the planned script and the natural conclusion comes a bit earlier.
