Hello, could I ask you for some Radiant Vessel Hollow AU stuff? What's the general lore behind that, how did those two end up as they did and just general brainrot on the idea?

Anon this is the best birthday present ever bc i've been thinking about this au for a while now AND I WANNA TALK ABOUT IT AAAA

SO pretty much the au was born from the idea of "Wouldn't it be fucked up if Hollow ended up joining Radi?" partial inspiration comes from this song as well!

(There's a bunch of subtitles in different languages but I'm going with the english one)

To summarize, after years of fighting Radi inside their mind prison, Radi changes tactics and attempts to make Hollow join her, she promises to give them all that was taken from them, the life they deserved

Hollow doesn't fall right away of course, they try to ignore her, fight her, but after years of the same dance and song they start getting tired, no matter how hard they try Radi is never fully gone when they fight, their void not strong enough to rip her apart, and being the only one with them (The dreamers are also in Hollow's mind prison, but they're not anywhere nearby these two) they can't help but lean on her company

The closest thing I could get to describe their relationship at this point is an odd sense of solidarity, in a way both of them were done wrong by the same guy, and while it does take a lot for Hollow to understand this, deep down they knew there was a bit of resentment towards PK, one that grows in intensity the more these two spend together, and it erupts when they succumb to Radi and she turns them into a vessel for her

It's kinda like what Grimm and the Nightmare heart has going on (or at least the general HC most people got) Hollow made a deal with Radi, she will lend her powers and energy to Hollow for them to call anytime they want, to go back so she can see the world through their eyes (disclaimer: not all the time btw ASHFJKAS just when its necessary/Hollow calls her) there's no cycle of rebirth or anything here though, she's also no longer limited to Hollow's mind, she can see the whole Dream Realm now

So yeah, once Hollow is used to their new powers (and body, they got some changes in appearance) they take down the dreamers, escape the black egg, their presence making the infection spread like a wildfire and take down PK :3 (WL escaped, the knights... yeah they dont make it)

There's still some ideas I gotta clean up after this point, but I talked about this with some people and got the idea that yeah, Hollow does take over Hallownest and its people, everyone is infected to some degree? makes them more agreeable to what's going on but its not enough to make them feral anymore, some of the bugs that got modifications through the infection stay like that and while still a bit volatile, they can think enough to understand things

As for their relationship??? It's odd as fuck KJHSDFJKAH there's nothing romantic, that's for sure, it is definetely more similat to a Lord and their subordinate, but theyre like??? very close?? almost familial, when there's no job to do or Hollow needs reassurance Radi becomes the closest thing to a motherly figure they could get (Even if WL loved them there was no way she couldve shown them that) but its not enough for them to call each other family

as for the game events it would completely change, Ghost would arrive to a completely different Hallownest, where everyone is happy and nice, but the more u progress the game u realize shit's fucked up, Hornet is there as well and she came back to Hallownest to seek revenge for her mother

As to what happens to the abyss and pile of dead siblings, i'm still a bit unsure, part of me thinks Hollow wouldnt want to get rid of it but part of me knows Radi wouldnt let them have it open or even go in there, while still void the light she bestowed upon them would present a threat for the shades living there

and that's most of what I got! I still need to think of other things, but if u guys got other questions or ideas I would love love LOVE to hear them!! :D

Tbh the only correct answer is that I got to lesson 11 through the power of desperation🫠

I had pretty much used support items to just get past the c point of lesson 11 levels cuz I was that desperate🫠

I'll drop pics of my teams below! I always just let the game choose for me which cards are best in the battle lol

-> I do have to say that since I've updated the cards a bit since lesson 11 released, they can now probably pass the levels of it with like a B~ score. The URs used to be leveled up to around 50ish, and the SSRs to 30, now they are at 70 to 45 respectively so yeah. Just wanted to mention that cuz the stats in the images are higher than when I played 11, hence why I had to use support itmes all the way through the lesson x)))

I have only been doing free rolls so far, cuz I wanna save up my devil points for future banners I might really wanna pull on, and I'm f2p so yea~

I'd say if you're stuck due to cards not being strong enough/levels being too hard, you'll have to be a bit patient and level up the cards! Il

If you're short on grimm to level up the cards, go farm grimm from fabsnap (I know, the app scares me too, but bear with it.)

Basically if you go there and go to the search page, choose one of the videos that show up there and then spam hearts on it, you get an achievement every 50 interactions, and it's 1000× grimm per "milestone". It's per character, and the videos from Asmo, Luke, Simeon, Lucifer and Belphie are all open, so you can get grimm from each of their characters!

Make sure to level up the cards and unlock devil tree spaces! They rlly help make ur deck stronger~

But if the problem is more or less the rhythm battles being too difficult, then Idk if I have helpful tips man.

I really am not that good with rhythm games, I've only ever played piano tiles a few years ago when it blew up.

Tbh the rhythm battles-format of NB is very confusing to me, and I could just never get used to it (the way you click right-left or up-down) with the way the tiles slide horizontally. My brain and fingers can't coordinate that stuff at all🫠

So, I just play the battles like they are piano tiles levels x) I've set the rhythm settings to up-down, and whenever I play I flip my phone so that it's vertical, and that the tiles and buttons move "towards me" kinda. It made the levels more fun and somewhat easier, so if you think it might help, go ahead!

But yeah that's pretty much the way I've been playing so far. Hope it has helped and good luck getting past those lessons!

In full on EAH/The End After All brainrot so. MORE QUESTIONS HDHFHH!! Apple like.. takes over and becomes Queen after the casting the spell/finding the EQ's wand, right? Why do the adults... let her do that? Does she just use the wand to take over because it's so strong? Or is there some other reason I'm blanking on lol- Raven Magic Anon

Ok so up until recently, the story after the inciting incident only followed Raven. Apple’s POV had a lot of nothing going on and then I realized how much more interesting it would be if we followed both of them as the story progressed (they split ways and do their own thing). It was also originally (like, several years ago bc somehow I’ve been thinking about this for that long) going to happen over a fairly long span of time. For the sake of brevity and any hope of actually starting and finishing it I’ve cut it down significantly. One of the things that comes with this is matching with how the show and movies operate. Frequently these teens are just left to their own devices. The adults either help them or are completely absent. It’s kind of tricky to write something with these kinds of restraints when you don’t have the same issues as the studio that made the series. In the show, as a production made by people with a deadline, adult meddling and interference is deadweight to the plot. It’s not necessarily realistic, but fiction (especially for younger audiences) relies on kids/teens being able to do whatever they want. Ever After High largely operates with the idea that characters like Apple (royals, high status people) get free rein, whatever it is they’re doing isn’t going to be scrutinized too closely.

All of this to say, Grimm has never been very good at watching over children. He’s abysmal at his job and the rest of the staff have a few hundred other kids to take care of. They have no clue where Apple is or what she’s doing.

Apple’s also not exactly Queen yet (she’s working towards making that happen). I don’t know what she’s doing, I’m still figuring that out. What I do know is that she’s going to be having A Lot of emotions and she’s not gonna handle them very well lmao
