All this Grimace Shake talk got me thinking...

Wasn't there an add campaign where the Hamburglar grew up, had a wife and kid and such?

As far as I am aware, Grimace is still same old Grimace, and Ronald is probably the same, too, since he is the main mascot? (At least, I haven't seen any Ronald media in a while, so I can only assume he is the same)

So... are like... Ronald and Grimace immortal entities or something, while little ol' Hamburglar is a regular human? Ronald and Grimace never physically change, while the Hamburglar has grown up? Was he once immortal? Did the Hamburglar have the prototype of the Grimace Shake, then be doomed to a mortal life?

Why am I questioning McDonald's lore based entirely on two odd ad campaigns? Why am I being haunted by this? Has the Grimace Shake infected me, too, despite me never having one due to them being too expensive for me?

What am I doing with my life?
