Commission for @pinyball of the titular character from The Helpful Fox Senko-san. Huge thanks to them for the support!

This was my first time really trying non-natural lighting. I'm not so good with colours so it took a while to get the night and fire lighting looking right, but I think it turned out well. I need to develop a better workflow - the Aseprite file for this was a mess by the time I was nearing completion, haha. It was a big undertaking, but fun!

(Video included because the gif has colour banding.)

This is one of my go to comfort animes when I’m feeling kinda small and soggy :3

She's the perfect caregiver for any baby dealing with depression.

She call’s you kit, pup, baby fox, kitten or just any animal related pet name.

Yummy homemade food. Always knowing when to refill sippy cups and all the perfect snacks to munch on.

Running a bubble bath for you, helping you to pick out the fluffiest pj’s, brushing your teeth and hair every night before bed.

Let’s you just info dump about the things you enjoy. Talking about you favorite animal? Everyone know the fox is the best, but yours is still a good second choice. Over explaining a show? There's no such things as spoilers, only sneak peaks on what she has to look forward to when you watch the show together. Interesting video game? You'll have to play it together some time later.

She might not understand but she’s more than willing to listen.

Happy to just cuddle and watch tv if that’s what you need.

Always reminding her little one that it’s perfectly fine to regress and that it’s more than okay to take a break.

Constantly reminding you that you're worth it, that you're not a bother, and that you deserve every good thing that is happening to you.
