Very AU TOW Steve finds out he's adopted

I'm just saying it because they do look like they're kind of related, especially Will with his moles. What if Steve is adopted? The first year of marriage with Lonnie was especially hard, especially when he went out of town to "earn more money," but really, he was blowing it all and sleeping around. Frustrated, she turns to Hopper for comfort and winds up getting pregnant. She couldn't afford to feed the baby, she had to give the baby up and a nice couple on paper came along and suddenly she had money again but no baby. That was the hardest part, and it was selfish of her to get pregnant again, and out of a weird sense of guilt, she stayed with Lonnie and got pregnant a third time. She kept them both. It wasn't until after Steve found out that she was his mother that Lonnie called her up to let her know that he had been shooting blanks this whole time. Every time Hopper had strolled through town, she'd wind up pregnant, but she had thought for sure that the last two were Lonnie's. In the end, they wind up being one big happy family. El doesn't care at all that she's not biologically related to any of them. Their her family. Boy, she has a hell of a lot of brothers.
