Inspired by some lengthy conversations and the need for reassurance regarding a renewal for season 3, the lovely Eena @michaelsheens and I have decided to start a little Project!

THE NICE AND ACCURATE PROPHECIES* WEEK

Running from SEPTEMBER 25TH to OCTOBER 1ST, it’s all themed around season 3 and the assumption we’re gonna get that renewal. (Manifesting, baby.)

Every day will focus on a theme around which everyone who wants to participate is encouraged to create any kind of content they want to! Art, fanfic, edits, playlists, speculation, meta, go nuts!

(Also please don’t worry if something doesn’t fit neatly into a day’s theme; they’re only meant to give somewhat of a prompt and structure. Ultimately it’s not that strict and serious, we just wanna see your stuff :))

DAY 1: “And there will be great lamentations.”

Let’s talk the Second Coming! We start off and warm up with everything plot-related. Theories, meta, crack ideas, let’s hear your thoughts on where you think the Big Main Plot is going to go!

DAY 2: “I can make a difference!”

For day two, let’s focus on Aziraphale’s arc in season 3. Did he go to Heaven with a plan? Or is he winging it? (Pun only somewhat intended.) Was he threatened or manipulated or both or neither? Will he tell Heaven just where they can stick it or can he actually succeed? What’s in store for our favorite angel?

DAY 3: “Hated by Heaven, loathed by Hell. How will our hero cope?”

Day three is all about Crowley and what we think he’s going to get up to. Is he going to go drink himself senseless and have a good cry? Go snek and hybernate for a bit? Hang out with Muriel and do some tempting? Does he have a plan and how will he cope being on his own?

DAY 4: “There was magic abroad in the air…”

Let’s talk Ineffable Husbands! How are Crowley and Aziraphale going to resolve things between them? Will there be a massive fight? Radio silence for days/weeks/months/years? Will they learn to Actually COmmunicate? Will there be grudges, grand gestures, secret meetings, a big rescue mission from either side?

DAY 5: “Extreme sanctions.”

On day six we wanna make ourselves anxious, sad and upset. (As one does.) What thing that may or may not happen in season 3 are you most worried about? Dark/depressed/evil/etc Crowley? Memory-wiped/brain-washed/archangel Aziraphale? Book of Life? How could Neil & Co hurt us the most?

DAY 6: “Do you…want a hot chocolate?”

After day 5’s spiral, it’s time for a metaphorical treat. What are you most looking forward to in season 3? What do you really want to see? Headcanons coming true? Scenes you wish for? Things that’ll make you wanna name your cat/dog/fish/insert other pet here Neil Richard Gaiman or Sir Terence David John Pratchett?

DAY 7: “It’s starts, as it will end, with a garden.”

Finally, to finish it all up, let’s speculate about the end of season 3. How do you think we’ll leave this story? Will things just go back to how they’ve always been? Will there be peace? Earth hidden from Heaven and Hell with a big 500 Lazarii miracle? Aziraphale and Crowley turned human? Or will they get their cottage in the South Downs for the rest of eternity?

Sweet pleasant dreams from the little rose petal herself!

When Rosie is for once not sleeping in the middle of her parents bed, rolled in like a little breakfast burrito that owns the mattress they are sleeping on she’s normally surrounded by some of her many plushies. Her favorite snakes who she calls “sneks”, she got from the rebuild Zoo 🐍

Roselyn also can’t fall asleep without her mothers lullabies, her favorite being “deep in the meadow” whenever she sleeps in her parents bed Lucy Gray puts most certainly both her little baby and husband to sleep. The song still makes him drowsy with no mockingjays around to ruin the moment.

Bet Coriolanus buys Rosie as many plushies as her little heart desires, while being side eyed by his wife for showing ✨affection✨ which is unusual with the cold demeanor he puts on and isn’t followed by any correction. He likes to drop the mask around her, What can I say the little girl has him wrapped around her finger, if she wanted ice cream or a piece of cake at 3 am the only one who would put a end to this idea is mom herself because Coryo thinks thats a wonderful logical idea…she’ll get some in the morning tho.

Lucy gray tho actively teaches her daughter that even if her father gives her so much without thinking twice that she should always be grateful with what she already got. District lesson of the day which is followed by a sweet “ok momma”

Fanworks have rotted my mind to a point where anytime I think of a perfect, loving mariage, I think of the ineffable husbands... Then I remember actual canon and I cry.

No, but, listen- next season I need them to be happy, yeah. But, above all, I want them to be absolutely, disgustingly in love. Sure, there's a conflict, but it will be resolved and they'll have to talk it out. THEN I need them to make me throw up rainbows from the cuteness, from the tenderness and closeness.

I'm not even asking for another kiss (even though it would be good to compensate for the last one). I mean I want them to hug, and hold hands, and just hold each other. I want Crowley to call Aziraphale "Angel" again, and I want Aziraphale to call Crowley "my darling" or "my love" until the snek bursts into flames from the love overload. I want them to go have a picnic and buy a cottage by the seaside and just be together.

Half meta, half ramble

Not entirely sure where this post is going, tbh... Let's find out, eh?

Sooo... I was browsing the Final Fantasy wiki (as one does) and the article for Tantarian (an optional/missable boss in FF9) caught my attention. Y'see, Tantarian is a demon found in a library, hiding in a possessed book -- and is based on the Great Duke of Hell, Dantalion (or Dantalian, the spelling can be inconsistent). How the ever-loving wossname, I hear you cry, does this relate to Good Omens????

Let's take a closer look! (this got longer than I anticipated, hence the cut)

From the Wikipedia article 'List of demons in the Ars Goetia':

"The Seventy-first Spirit is Dantalion. He is a Duke Great and Mighty, appearing in the Form of a Man with many Countenances, all Men's and Women's Faces; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one; for he knoweth the Thoughts of all Men and Women, and can change them at his Will. He can cause Love, and show the Similitude of any person, and show the same by a Vision, let them be in what part of the World they Will."

Bolded details:

"Duke Great and Mighty" -- evocative of the whole "Thin Dark Duke" thing <3

" [...] he hath a Book in his right hand." -- pretty obvious GO connection there!

(best 'Azzy+book(s)' gif I could find quickly...although on a second look, this might well be from the body swap bit in S1 XD Mr Sheen, you ludicrously talented chaos gremlin, you <3 )

(Ok, this one's definitely Crowley XD)

Mah point is dolphins they both match up to the book thing!

"His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences [...]" -- leaning slightly more towards a Crowley parallel here, with the apple thing partly symbolising intellectual curiosity (essential part of arts and sciences!), but Aziraphale giving away the flaming sword would've helped humanity figure things out in that area as well (even if indirectly)

(I want to boop the snek!!!)

"[...] knoweth the Thoughts of all Men and Women, and can change them at his Will [...]" -- mind-reading! Seems to be sliiiiiightly more of a demon thing from what we've seen (e.g. "Nina: It's like you've seen into my secret soul. Crowley: Yeah, it's a knack.", Shax picking at insecurities in the bookshop battle), but both the Ineffables have directly influenced human minds on screen (e.g. Sitis, the Shopkeepers' Ball)

"[...] can cause Love [...]" -- well, they certainly tried! Operation: Shop Lesbians :D

"[...] show the Similitude of any person [...]" -- mostly seen with the body swap bit so far (where A+C are concerned), but given that for angels and demons, size and shape are merely options, and Beelzebub canonically changed their face, it's not outwith the bounds of possibility that the Ineffable Husbands could disguise themselves as people other than each other (if that makes sense)(and assuming they'd *want* to, of course)

Plus, if you go with the 'Dantalion' spelling, the last four letters form the word 'lion', which is a motif the show ties pretty strongly to Aziraphale via the signet ring on his right hand. Fierce protector angel! <3

Plus plus, from what I've been able to gather, Dantalion is supposed to be one of the more benevolently-inclined Goetic demons -- both the Ineffables are pretty dang benevolent!

The point I'm stumbling towards (stone-cold sober, but with about 3,000,000 on the ND Scoville scale) is that Dantalian/Dantalion has some pretty interesting parallels to both the Ineffable Husbands and so, within the GO verse, could be either another alias of Crowley's or a name Aziraphale might take if he Fell (AU fic writers, start your engines!) :D

As a small bonus, I saw the name 'Shax' mentioned in the list of Marquises of Hell!

The characteristics given for the Goetic Shax don't really match up to TV!Shax that I can tell, apart from the stork symbolism and the "hoarse but subtle voice" (and maaaybe 'is thought to be faithful and obedient, but is a great liar"), but given Gneil's wide-ranging mythological knowledge, invincible genre savviness and extreme writing skill, it wouldn't surprise me to see elements of the Goetic description popping up in Shax's S3 arc -- likely in unexpected ways!

Aziraphale is an old man in all aspects except one (biologically), however Crowley is the same age and he would definitely have old man knees. he doesn't know what to do with his joints half of the time due to being snek

aziraphale doesn't have a pet (yet) but I think he would love a cat (I mean, he's got Crowley hanging around, basically the same). A tressym is just a very peculiar step up from that (consider: it has it's own wings to match him and Crowley, which is really adorable!!)

crowley's hissy fits are great and can likewise be replaced with Astarion's.

C slammed Aziraphale into a wall for calling him nice

C went out into the middle of the street when he got really frustrated/anxious and exploded lightning from his body

C agreed to take care of the bookshop, not selling any books etc. but tossed any books he was holding into some corner whenever

both of them evaded the immediate ire of their higher ups by pointing out a technicality that amounted to 'this word is explained to be different from the one you're using, but through a miniscule footnote on the last page of this giagantic book'

Aziraphale has an incredible hard time overcoming the trauma and toxic mindset upheld by his superiors, including how he views himself and his partner (that one's just sad, sry)

Funny pet story (cats and snakes): One day I woke up and my husband was still asleep so I was doing some work outside. My little orange cat ran into the house with something in her mouth. I made her drop it but it slithered into the closet of our office and I couldn't find it. I left a Post-it note on my husband's computer letting him know to be aware of snek. He kept sleeping. The second snake I confiscated as it came in the house. I left another Post-it. The third snake went behind the TV and I managed to sweep it into the dustpan and put it outside. By the time my husband woke up there were four notes for the FOUR snakes Tinycat brought in that day. She was very proud of herself. After the fourth snake I shut her inside to stop her going out to get more.

(No snakes were harmed in the making of this story. I think Tiny believes they are exciting wiggly strings and just wants to play with them. I keep her inside when it's snake weather now because those poor garter snakes don't deserve to be traumatized like that.)

Oh my goodness! Kitty bringing in spicy noodles!!! What a good hunter! How impressive! I like snakes very much so I would have been rather delighted by the gifts provided they were alive. Do you suppose any were the same snake, apprehended by the cat a second time?

There's different types of cats when it comes to hunters. You can tell by the kind of toys they like and the way they tend to attack. Some are mousers, some are birders, and sometimes, just sometimes, you get a snake hunter. Raleigh is a mouser, Sid is a mouser, Etrigan is a birder, and Fancy is a birder and a snaker. (Smooch doesn't have very good vision so he just goes for whatever he can see under his nose.) Fancy popcorns around like a mongoose and smacks her prey into the dirt. Incredible that not only are their instincts so refined, but that some seem almost born to specialize, being good at a certain type either from birth, or maybe taught a particular thing by their mother. (We had birders at my childhood house because our oldest eternal cat taught every kitten who came through the door how to hunt, and she liked taking larger birds like jays and doves. I watched one of her proteges teach her own babies to hunt birds. Grisly but amazing. One of her babies grew up to regularly take whole rabbits. They are devastating to wildlife so I keep mine inside, but I do miss watching cats hunt. They're so amazing.)

Cuz I've been kinda feeling meh lately. Nothing really bad,just meh. More drained and tired than anything. This hot/cold weather does not help. At all.

If that's what you need. The sorcerer is actually very sweet to his beloved. But only his beloved. He is not a stranger like i said to bad headspaces. He too suffers from these inner demons. I hc shang suffers from depression,anxiety,paranoia,he has a horrible fear of decay(the process of aging and the side effects of such than the actual dying of old age. Like the loss of memory,the body pain,slowing down,etc) and many other neurosis. But he reassures you these things you can overcome. But also if not fake it till you make it. That's how he's survived. But know he is here for you if you should ever need to talk. He loves his s/o

• If someone else said something to upset you. Then he will deal with it right away. No need to worry yourself on those below such of your time. He will make sure you are emotionally taken care of then deal with the problem person immediately. Less to say that person in question won't make you cry again on his watch.

• If you are upset because of him? He might be hurt but he will try to talk with you about it. Address the issue. He prefers maturity and to be open when in a relationship. Despite being the snek he is. He doesn't play with the matters of the heart,especially yours. Because if you're with him,and you're gonna be his s/o. You're gonna have to be honest with him.

• If you're feeling insecure about yourself,either with your body or capabilities. He will absolutely gas you up. Maybe be slightly mad at you for feeling such feels. As he sees you as absolutely amazing. How dare you say he has bad taste! (Jk jk) but really he's the type to put you in front of a mirror and dress you in fine silk,stroke and carass your body. And describe how beautiful you look in detail. And tell you how far you've come,as a fighter and as a person. You're the light of his life,his heart and soul. He wants you to be happy,he hates seeing you down

I'm really curious about your take on the aftermath of Ominis being forced to use Crucio when he was a kid. Since your version of Volo cares for Ominis I'd love to know if he'd try to console his brother or give him some kind of advice for future moments like that. (I donno I just really love their relationship.... and we could possibly get a kinda wholesome Volo too😖)

So yeah that's my ask for now, sorry if you've already written something about this I've been slowly trying to catch up on all the Volo-verse lore. Aww it's ok you know! You don't HAVE to ask for him 🤣💚 but I do LOVE writing about him because I put him above EVERYONE else haha

I have definitely done that before though! I'm 99% sure that I have. So instead, I shall just tell you what happened.

Marvolo has always known that Ominis was different, he knew that Ominis wasnt into the dark side of things, which irritated and confused their father quite abit, growing up, Marvolo did pretty much everything his father asked of him, including dark stuff, which Marvolo didn't really mind truth be told, but he did these things because when he was younger his father scared him, It was a very Aleister would say jump, and Marvolo would say "How high?" Kinda thing, both Marvolo and Ominis suffered emotionally from their fathers ways from very young ages. Which has shaped them into the people they are today. The night Ominis was forced to cast crucio was a very uncomfortable night, he screamed and pleaded to their father to not make him do it, and Marvolo stood nearby and didn't speak out at the time, because their father was raging and they were both still young. Marvolo was forced to cast crucio on Ominis for being disobedient, which he didn't WANT to do, but did..

After the whole show was over, Ominis ran off upstairs and cried, later on Marvolo went to him and promised him he would never use unforgivables on him again, the two shared a deep emotional moment, as much as they could atleast, as Ominis was only 6/7 years old at the time.

Though they fight at times, like Brothers do, and Marvolo is who he is, he genuinely felt bad for what happened that night when they were kids.

A couple months since Nanami met Mizuki, she received an invitation to his home. "Oh look Tomoe! Mizuki sent us an invitation!" Nanami said and showed her familiar the paper.

"We haven't heard from him in months and he just sends an invitation so suddenly? Something's fishy." Tomoe mumbled as he stared at the paper with a raised brow. "Please Tomoe? It might be something good for once!" Nanami begged with a pleading look. Tomoe pinched in between his nose before sighing. "If that's what you wish, Lady Nanami." Tomoe folded his arms.

When they arrived to Mizuki's 'shrine' everything was slightly more colorful than usual. "How odd." Tomoe said as he looked around. The door opened revealing Mizuki who looked really happy. "You're here, Nanami!" Mizuki said with a smile as he walked up to her and Tomoe.

They took a few turns till the ended up at a door that was decorated differently than the other doors.

"Y/n!~ I've brought some quest who would like to meet you!" Mizuki chirped before opening the door. You turned your head to look at them before a gentle smile formed on your lips. "Good afternoon. Are you perhaps Mizuki's friends?" You asked and closed the book you were reading. "Yes! Are you Mizuki's wife?" Nanami asked with a smile. "Yes, but I'd like it if you'd say husband since I am a male." You lightly laughed before standing up and walked over to them.

"I'm Y/n L/n. It's nice to meet you." You said and shook Nanami's hand. "I'm Nanami Momozono and he's Tomoe, my familiar." Nanami introduced herself before they all sat down on some cushions. "So, Y/n, how did you and Mizuki meet?" Tomoe asked.

"Well, I came across him when he was a snake and thought he was really cute so I took him home with me, but after I had placed him in a tank I had, there was this strange mark on my hand. So after I went to get that checked out I came home to him like he is now and he explained to me that he chose me as his 'wife'. But I didn't really agree with it since I didn't know him that well so we took some time to get to know each other and here we are now. Very sorry if I'm talking to much." You explained as Mizuki laid his head on your lap while you stroked his head with a gentle smile makin him snuggle a bit closer to his lover.

"Aww that's adorable! Right Tomoe?" Nanami squealed and looked at Tomoe. "You can say that." Tomoe said, a small and unnoticeable smile present on his lips.
