could you write about Laswell and Farah having a s/o that loves to cook/bake?
Hey! Yeah, sure!
Farah and Laswell with an S/O that Loves to Cook and Bake
Farah: She can be a pretty big eater, actually. She can’t always be, and she doesn’t need too much food either, having learned fairly early on how to get by with very little food, but if she found something really good, and there was plenty of it as well, then she could just dig right in and eat two plates full worth of food. She loves the fact that you know how to cook, and cook well as well. Considering her past, there wasn’t always an abundance of food in her life, and fairly often the food she did get to eat wasn’t very good, so she can definitely appreciate you cooking her a good, nutritious and healthy meal. Will eat your food right up and tell you just how good it is every time, telling you how grateful she is to have you as well. While she won’t always be able to conjure up all the necessary ingredients, you can count on her to bring you some of the things she finds, knowing fully well that you can make something incredible with it. Although she isn’t too big on sweets, she will eat the occasional piece of cake or cookie you make. It won’t happen too often, since she can’t afford to gain too much weight, but she’ll eat it. She’s more likely to take your baked goods and distribute them to her fighters as a small morale boost. All of them know you by now and that you’re a great cook and baker, so everyone always looks forward to what you make. Either way, even if she doesn’t often have the time to do so, Farah loves helping you out whenever she can. Sometimes, when nothing urgent is going on, she might play around with you in the kitchen as well. Putting some flour on your nose, for example, while laughing a bit at your reaction. She won’t waste resources like that often, but she is down to clown around with you when she can.
Laswell: While she may not be the greatest cook out there, she can make some decent meals. She used to have a better feeling for it while she was studying at university and didn’t have the money to just buy some fancy food. Back then she would cook for herself fairly regularly, but these days she doesn’t have the time or energy to cook for herself anymore. She never was into baking either, though. Laswell can appreciate you, who loves cooking and baking, a lot. While she won’t always let you cook on your own, she does love helping you out when she can, there might be times where she can botch just how much of a specific spice goes into the meal. It’s better if you do it. However, you can tell her to do just about anything else, though, and she will. Doesn’t complain about it either, it’s the least she could do when you’re preparing such wonderful meals for yourself and her. Always compliments you on your cooking since it’s always a treat. Like Farah, she will also help you out while baking. She has even less of a clue how to make a good cake, but she can stir the mixture until it has a nice texture and add some ingredients according to you. As she doesn’t have the best feeling for how much goes in, she always uses a small scale you have lying around. When the cake goes into the oven, she usually stays behind a minute or two to watch it for a bit. However, she’s also the one who usually checks up on it to see if everything is going well or if the heat needs to be readjusted. She won’t do so without your okay, though. Once the cake is done she’ll always be the one to take it out, afraid of you burning your hand. Laswell is more inclined to eat sweets than Farah, so she’ll always eat a piece of cake or maybe a cupcake if you’ve made some. Gives you a kiss afterwards if your sweet good turns out especially good, which is almost always in her eyes.

German ‘Kraut’ & ‘Kohl’
I always hear people refering to Germans as ‘krauts’, so I figured I might as well make a post about it (since I’m a native German).
These people usually refer to our German Sauerkraut, but I personally don’t like Sauerkraut, so here’s a list of some different Kraut and Kohl German culture has to offer:
Sauerkraut:
As I said, this is a bit of an obvious one. Sauerkraut literally means ‘sour herb’ or ‘sour cabbage’ (since the word ‘Kraut’ is also used for some types of weeds). Sauerkraut is actually white cabbage or pointed cabbage that is preserved through malolactic fermentation. It tastes quite sour and bitter and we usually eat it with mashed potatoes and sausages.
Tumblr media
Rotkohl
This is ‘red cabbage’ and me and my family always eat it with our Christmas roast and German ‘Knödel’ (kinda like dumplings). Prepared like that it usually tastes kind of sweet.
Tumblr media
Grünkohl:
Grünkohl is a very important German dish (at least where I’m from in the Ruhrpott area in North Rhine Westphalia). This is so-called ‘green cabbage’ (kale) that tastes a little bitter and is eaten with potatoes and sausages.
Tumblr media
Wirsing:
This is savoy cabbage that we eat with cream as a side dish or we use the leaves to wrap them around ‘Kohlrouladen’ (’cabbage roulades’).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kohlrabi:
Kohlrabi (turnip cabbage) is also often prepared with cream and my mum used to mix it with chopped potatoes.

.
(lmk if there’s any other German culture thing that you would like me to make a post about)

The issues & beauties of German music
(70s Kraut Rock )
Here, NOT ONE SINGLE SOUL talks about Krautrock 🌿 it seems like dead & forgotten (except CAN)
which is sad about this phenomenon :/ the only ones paying attention are prog magazines and music connoisseurs
Everyone talks about the Scorpions and Rammstein (in fact it's quality). Sometimes Boney M but... it's always the same: good music is too elite for the masses.
Even the band Eloy. Prog fans love them- the most listeners come from other places of the earth but not their origin country. Often a fault of the music industry, critics as well as the radio stations which really neglected these now in modern times.
//
The rhymes & language, pronunciation
Sure, worse languages exist. But to be honest, can you relax, with the German language? There's no flow at all, nothing like Italian or, you know, English. It's a popular opinion and what speaks against it?
Depends on the way someone sings and per region there is a difference but some harshness is always there.
//
Sung in English example: Eloy (again)
Some people are totally fine with the accent (their whole discography is in English sung by Frank Bornemann!!) others have problems getting into this band. Depends on the listener.
What often happened was that the groups had a British singer...

Old fashioned names
For example British rock: someone asks you, you say your idol is some random Jeff or Pete or whatever their names are. What about German musician's names? They're called Dieter or Jogi or Herbert or Udo
"Who's your favourite musician?" - Jürgen xy (sorry shouldn't sound mean)
People make jokes about old fashioned names, then why blaming yourself and getting sideeyed.
This is all a matter of coolness, let's move to the music...
//
A few information
Okay don't judge (seems extremely stereotype now) the people, musicians of the 60s and 70s were the first generation after WW2. You can imagine. The children of ex- patriots. They wanted to change something. BUT!! They were BOUND in the roots of their country.
There was a scene and later with many students and discotheques. There were artists from all over the world. The music is innovative and you can hear it even clearly. You can also hear their protest, spirit and the diversity of sounds.
There is nothing you can call THE Kraut. It's practically impossible to sum the sound up. Actually it's not a genre. That one word represents all the music made in Germany
//
An example.
You hear the instruments? The bass, drums, hard guitar, organs, saxophone EVERYTHING WORKS. SO FINE MUSIC.
Listen to it, create your own opinion.
Notes
1. So many songs by this one group called Lied des Teufels? Yeah. They're not known at all. That singer sounds like imitating Ian Gillan- Everyone can TRY to copy but they do it in their own style which is not copying, it's storytelling. (Kind of)
2. THE WHOLE THING SHOULD NOT MAKE ME SEEM PASSIONATE OR SOMETHING BECAUSE I DISCOVERED KRAUT LITERALLY YESTERDAY
3. Probably it's something that gets boring really fast
//
So...
Skillful musicians w/ ability to express themselves and the problems of their country. Wether the singing style is something for you or not- there are countless of other groups.
We HAVE TO speak about these forgotten acts again & give it a chance

Its surprising no one ever used the name Fritz before, bc soldier has a voice line where call medic fritz¿
Tbh I think that might be where it came from, but if I'm being perfectly honest if you're going to treat Soldier being xenophobic as "proof" that Medic's real name is Fritz then yall better start calling Sniper "Balbo Bravins"

I know everyone followed this blog to hear my condiment opinions and obsessions. Well the condiment of the day is peri-peri sauce (hot of course!) with its sour tang and tangy sourness. Lemony. Hot. Delicious. Will take the nation by storm when Nando’s finally expands out of the DC metro god only knows why it’s exclusively there. Hungoverly piling lentil based protein slop on a piece of toast but I topped it with some sauce and now I’m having a cheeky Nando’s. Brilliant on my part I must say. Mouth has come alive. Just perfect. If you’ve never tasted it you’re gonna wanna! And now back to our regularly scheduled programming (disappears for five hours)
