My idea on who I think would make the PERFECT villain for The Incredibles 3 (not that they're ever going to make one, this could also just be a fanfic idea)
NaNoWriMo somehow dragged me kicking and screaming back into my The Incredibles hyperfixation that I haven't thought about since 2021. Drafting up a long Tumblr post in my Notes app for a few days totally counts, right? (Probably not but whatever, I am fukcing passionate about The Incredibles lore, I need to ramble)
So, the villains of The Incredibles and Incredibles 2 are both genius inventors with no superpowers who use their technology to fight the heroes. What if, for the third villain, they ditched that idea and had a villain who was a Super?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Who'd be able to fill that role? Would they invent an entirely new character who is a Super? It wouldn't be too farfetched of an idea, they did invent two new Super supervillains in Lego Incredibles, The Anchor Man and Brainfreezer, one with hydrokinesis and the other with.... functionally cryokinesis like Frozone except she controls ice cream.
But what if... the villain was an already existing Super? That already poses a problem, a majority of the Supers in the present day of The Incredibles are either dead from Syndrome's Omnidroid or an unfortunate cape snag. The only surviving Supers from the pre-Super Ban Glory days are Mr Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone and possibly Fironic and Plasmabolt (and only because they never showed up in Syndrome's Operation KRONOS database.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fironic is pretty ambiguous if he's still alive or not, but Plasmabolt for its practically a 100% chance of survival for a few reasons:
1. Her profile says she keeps her hero and civilian lives strictly separate, so she might have had no desire to go moonlighting as a hero like Mr Incredible did
2. She's a forest park ranger. She probably lives off-grid in a shack in the woods or something.
3. The way Psycwave, Everseer and Macroburst are killed one after the other, but Plasmabolt isn't counted with them. All four of these Supers were part of a superhero team called The Phantasmics. Mirage probably used their connection to find all of them, maybe Plasmabolt fell out of contact with her old friends.
Tumblr media
Plasmabolt herself might have been a good villain candidate, having lost faith in humanity after learning how the National Supers Agency failed to keep track of her old friends, of all the Supers, and didn't notice that Syndrome was picking them all off.
Buuuuuut she's not the one this post is about. There's another that would probably be an even better villain, mostly because she has a personal tie to one of the main characters.
Tumblr media
This is one of the features on the bonus disk of The Incredibles: a full set of character files and audio interviews of most of the Supers (except for Tradewind, Vectress, Blitzerman and Fironic. They didn't get profiles.)
It's listed in alphabetical order, featuring Apogee, Blazestone, Downburst, Dyna Guy, Elastigirl, Everseer, Frozone, Gamma Jack, Gazerbeam, Hypershock, Macroburst, Meta Man, Mr Incredible, Phylange, Plasmabolt, Psycwave, Stratogale, Splashdown, Stormicide, Thunderhead and Universal Man.
The one I want to draw attention to is this one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Side note, it’s kinda frustrating that the only way to find images of most of these guys in colour is to look for random comic strips and the freaking Lego game of all things. I’m just gonna link this fan art too because I think it rocks and is probably the best image of her https://www.tumblr.com/pazam/183219465026/no-gadgets-no-gimmicks?source=share)
THIS, is Blazestone, the blorbo- I MEAN, the Super I think would make a great villain in a hypothetical third Incredibles movie. Or a Frozone spinoff movie. Either works.
I think she'd make a good villain for a number of reasons.
1. SHE'S ALREADY BEEN THE MAIN VILLAIN OF ANOTHER OFFICIAL THE INCREDIBLES STORY.
Let me highlight something important from her profile. "ARRESTED AND JAILED. RECRUITED BY NSA. WATCH CLOSELY TO ENSURE SHE OPERATES WITHIN NSA GUIDELINES"
That's right, Blazestone is actually a reformed criminal. This one little detail from her profile is a major plot point in the novel Elastigirl: A Real Stretch.
Tumblr media
She was paired with Universal Man as part of her rehabilitation. In the novel, they're constantly arguing, they constantly insult each other. Universal Man is an incredibly strict rule follower and tries to keep her in line. He thinks she'll never make it as a true Super if she doesn't follow the guidelines and acts recklessly ("THESE TWO WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY DON'T KILL EACH OTHER FIRST")
She hates being constantly monitored and forced into teams with other Supers and wishes they'd give her the freedom to do what she wants, as opposed to being constantly badgered into being a better person and following the guidelines
Eventually, Blazestone gets so sick of the National Supers Agency that snaps and decides that the only way she'll be able to do what she wants is to KILL ALL THE OTHER SUPERS SO THERE'S NO ONE TO STOP HER FROM TAKING OVER.
Tumblr media
In fact, her plan involves
1. Steal a shipment of the ZAP chemical (the novel's McGuffin, a radioactive chemical used as a superpower enhancer that has various effects depending on which Super it's used on. For most of them, it disables their powers entirely, for some it makes their powers malfunction and Apogee is the only Super who's powers are actually enhanced by it.)
2. Secretly recruiting all the criminals she jailed as her henchmen and breaks them out of jail on the day of the Super Appreciation Day celebrations. These henchmen are disguised as other Supers and blend in with all the other cosplayers entering the Costume Contest.
3. Attack the Supers Appreciation Day celebration at the pier. Trap EVERY SINGLE SUPER inside a band shell covered by a net that's coated ZAP which basically fucks up all of their powers. She then lifts the band shell off the ground and was heading towards the ocean to drop it in and drown them all.
Tumblr media
 (a few pages later)
Tumblr media
.... I'm serious, that's what actually happens in the climax.
Never mind the fact that she's touching the net covered in the chemical that needed to be handled with heavy gloves WITH HER BARE HANDS BECAUSE HER SUPERSUIT HAS SHORT SLEEVES in order to lift the band shell. ...And the fact that she has no super strength so shouldn't have been able to carry the weight of a structure and 20+ Supers.
Blazestone actually mentioned earlier in the novel that ZAP had no effect on her, and while the novel never mentions it, my theory is that Blazestone is the only other Super who's powers are enhanced by ZAP. Apogee was also powered up by ZAP... in small doses but being that close to the netting enhanced her powers too much so she couldn't assist in the climax without incinerating everyone with the power of the sun. Blazestone must have lied about ZAP not having an effect on her to eliminate her as a suspect for the theft of the ZAP.
ANYWAY, Blazestone went full supervillain and that's the last we heard of her until she showed up dead in Syndrome's Project KRONOS database. Between Supers Appreciation Day and the beginning of the Super Ban, she might have resumed her criminal activities and became part of Municiberg's Rogues Gallery.
As the Super Ban went into effect she might have been kept in a maximum security facility for a few years until she managed to break out into a world where Supers are in hiding. She might have used her powers to commit smaller robberies to survive, which might have been how Mirage tracked her down..
But wait, she's dead isn't she? So how could she possibly be the main villain of Incredibles 3 if she's dead?
2. SHE'S ONE OF THE FEW SUPERS WHO COULD HAVE PLAUSIBLY SURVIVED THE OMNIDROID BY FAKING HER DEATH.
She's the 6th Super to have been killed by Syndrome, and is probably the Super Syndrome tested the Omnidroid's fireproofing on, hence when it's immune to lava.
Except.... Blazestone could have been marked as "Terminated" when she really wasn't.
Tumblr media
But how, exactly? The model of Omnidroid that killed her was v.X2 (the highest being v.10) so it was a VERY early model. Too early to have all the little issues ironed out. Perhaps there was a flaw that Blazestone exploited that kept her alive.
There's also Blazestone's powerset.  She has a threat rating of 5.5, which sounds low until you realise that the highest is Gamma Jack with 7.9 Her powers are listed as pyrokinetic discharge, heat control, heat resistance, high agility and flight (by riding on heated air) which is pretty OP by itself but there's one power not listed on the file that Blazestone mentions having.
From the Bonus Disk Audio Interviews: (sped up because she was talking through the entire interview on 2x speed) "Wait what, do you want me to say the whole thing again? I thought I was completely clear, are you- Do you want me to go back again? The whole thing? I don't understand... (back to normal speed because she realised she wasn't in the dimension where people talk really fast, I guess?) "...OH, okay. *laughs* I am so sorry, I know what the problem is! I can't *laughs again* I keep on forgetting which dimension that I'm in! Wait, which... Which dimension am I in?"
From Lego Incredibles: "Wait, which dimension is this? Never mind, I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough.”
That's right, apparently Blazestone has the ability to warp herself to other dimensions. And this isn't an out of the blue thing that probably isn't canon either, Incredibles 2 shows off exactly how that power would function.
(Transcript from Incredibles 2)
Tumblr media
Escaping by warping to another dimension is a VEEEERY good method of hiding your own body.
Picture this: Blazestone is contacted by Mirage. She's told a lie about the Omnidroid, it's the government's secret project and how it's went rogue. She gets told they looked for her because she's the only Super who defected from the NSA, they need her specifically. If they approached any other Super they might contact the NSA and expose the secret project. So they need her because she won't tattle.
Blazestone goes to Nomanisan Island and is told to go to Room A113 to wait for instructions. She gets bored and hates being told what to do so goes to explore. She finds the lava waterfall and flies through, only to find Syndrome on his computer looking over his Operation KRONOS files. She realises that they lured her to die, that she's not the first one they called to destroy the robot, they lied to her and now she's trapped. She goes back to Room A113, and while they're unaware that she found out, she starts asking too many questions.
The Omnidroid x.V2 is sent after her. She's not fighting to disable it for a sum of money, she's fighting for her life. Blazestone is agile, she flies out of reach of the Omnidroid, and hurls fireballs at it as it has no methods of hitting her back. Until it learns to throw its own projectiles at her. It uproots trees, throws rocks etcetera. It gets an unlucky hit in and knocks her to the ground. Suddenly Blazestone realises that it's getting more accurate, it's predicting where she'll fly next. There's no winning against it. They're near the volcano at this point so Blazestone makes a beeline towards it, if she could just reach the lava....
She's inside the lava caves, she flies directly over the lava. She's heat resistant. She baits the Omnidroid into throwing one more boulder and allows herself to get knocked into the lava. She's entirely submerged. Syndrome is watching the fight through hidden cameras, waiting for her to emerge, but she doesn't. Syndrome makes a quip about how the lava must have been too hot for even Blazestone to handle and marks her down as terminated. In reality, Blazestone warped to the other dimension the second she went under, tricking them into thinking her body melted away in the lava.
As for how Syndrome didn't know about her dimensional warping power, the fact that it's not listed on her National Supers Agency file kinda feels like the NSA didn't believe she had that power. She's a former criminal who probably figured that she she'd defect from being a Superhero at some point. If she ended up in a jail cell, she could teleport out of it. If they knew she could teleport they might have found some way to neutralise that power before sending her to jail. So Blazestone kept it a secret in the even that she'd need to escape from some where.
So Blazestone lives and freaks out about her near death experience. Except... She draws the wrong conclusion about Syndrome. She doesn't know that the government is actually oblivious to the fact that Syndrome is developing a robot strong enough to fight Mr Incredible using Supers as test subjects. She thinks the government is hunting down Supers and killing them with the Omnidroid.
She goes cold turkey on crime in case the government finds her again, but after all that, a deep resentment and rage bubbles up inside of her.
Flashforward to after Incredibles 2, when the Super Ban is lifted and the National Supers Agency is re-established and is recruiting Supers again. The details of Project KRONOS are released to the public. Blazestone's rage boils over.
She hates that the National Supers Agency is up and running to control Supers again like how they suffocated her with their rules and trapped her in a dysfunctional partnership with Universal Man, she hates that ordinary people tried to wipe out Supers when THEY should be in charge.
Remember in Incredibles 2 when Evelyn mind controlled Mr Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone and made them forced them to say something into the camera during the public broadcast before they hijacked the hydrofoil to make them look bad?
Tumblr media
Yeah, Blazestone ACTUALLY believes that.
As far as anyone is aware, Blazestone is dead. She might hide her face to make sure nobody figures out it's her. She could target the DevTech/Wannabe Supers (Voyd, Screech, He-Lectrix, Brick, Krushauer and Reflux) and shake their confidence in the Supers Agency or the public's faith in Supers, after all, the Supers Agency let all the old Supers die, they public turned on you years ago, who's to say they won't turn on you again? Look, there's already politicians who disagree with the Super Ban being lifted and want to put heavy restrictions on Super activity. I think she'd be after Voyd specifically because she's an anxiety ridden easily manipulated mess who is also potentially a threat. After all, Voyd's power is portals, and she can follow Blazestone when she dimensional warps...
Tumblr media
She rallies a bunch of other young Supers who felt betrayed by the government banning Supers, perhaps she even manipulates a grieving Plasmabolt who's still mourning her teammates' deaths into acting as a mole in the National Supers Agency. She wants Supers to be on top while all the puny normals get subjugated like they deserve.
Baaasically she becomes Pixar Magneto? ... I'm not 100% certain, I'm not all that familiar with X-Men? I just kinda know who he is from watching one movie years ago. I don't know, I suck at writing allegories, I just have the vague idea in my head and I dunno how to put it to paper properly. If I've said something bad or made a bad comparison, I'm sorry. I'm writing this section at 3am.
3. SHE HAS AN EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO ONE OF THE MAIN CAST.
If The Incredibles was about Mr Incredible and Incredibles 2 was about Elastigirl, who's the third member of their trio who hasn't got a chance to be a protagonist yet? Let's bring up the profiles again, shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notice anything?
"ONCE PARTNERS WITH FROZONE. BUT RELATIONSHIP RAN HOT AND COLD."
"FORMER PARTNERS WITH BLAZESTONE (ROMANTICALLY?)"
OH SNAP THAT'S RIGHT, FROZONE AND BLAZESTONE USED TO BE PARTNERS. POSSIBLY ROMANTICALLY.
Tumblr media
Blazestone was partnered with Frozone first before the NSA shoved her into the Beta Force with Universal Man. This is purely headcanon, but I like to imagine the Frozone/Blazestone team was known as the Alpha Force because Beta comes after Alpha. The sentence "relationship ran hot and cold" aside from being a bad pun, kinda implies that at some point the fluctuation led to them having a huge falling out and splitting their team apart so the NSA could try again with Universal Man.
Tumblr media
I found this on Reddit's Tumblr sub and honestly, my thoughts exactly.
Imagine the DRAMA of Frozone finding out that his former "Enemies to lovers to enemies" partner who tried to drown him on Supers Appreciation Day that one time who he thought was dead is suddenly alive again and is currently leading a gang of Supers to attacking people. There could be a deep dive into what their partnership was like, how he reacted to her fall from grace and all the mixed feelings of seeing her alive again in the present day.
Maybe this could finally be the opportunity to show Honey on screen. I mean, she HAS a design now and an entire deleted scene that they cut out because it caused pacing issues
Tumblr media
Imagine Frozone lying battered and bruised on the ground from Blazestone fighting him, and Honey runs to his defence. Blazestone mocks her like "What could you possibly do to me? You're powerless!" and then Honey takes her completely by surprise by pulling out a metal baseball bat or some other mundane household weapon and beats the ever loving shit out of her.
Tumblr media
Another idea I had that doesn't really fit into any section is the idea of bringing the Deavor siblings back. Winston and Evelyn having a fractured relationship after the events of Incredibles 2. Winston visiting her in jail trying to understand why she'd risk their father's legacy and endangering DevTech by connecting it with the attempted mass murder with a boat. Evelyn snapping back that he never noticed how she was feeling as they grieved for their parent's deaths because he was too focused on thinking that they died because there was no Supers around anymore to save them.
Blazestone kidnapping both of them and forcing Evelyn, the one who hates Supers with her entire being to remake the Screenslaver technology by threatening to burn Winston to death if she doesnt comply. Why does Blazestone need the hypnosis tech? Because she's aware that some of the Supers she recruited might not be 100% loyal and wants to control their minds to keep them in line if she has to. Because she doesn't care at all about any of the other Supers, she just wants to use them for her own gain so that SHE can control the city. Plasmabolt is definitely going to be the one to betray Blazestone in the end. She realises that Everseer, Macroburst and Psycwave wouldn't have wanted her to harm innocent people to avenge their deaths, so she'd fight alongside The Incredibles family, the Wannabe Supers, and Frozone.
Aaaand that's all I have to say, it somehow took me three hours to move all this text from Google Docs to Tumblr and find accompanying images.
Hope you liked my probably badly written sequel idea

So, I downloaded an Incredibles poster for a new wallpaper, and I noticed something...
I noticed in the corner a framed picture of Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl along with other superheroes. The supers here are Everseer, Phylange, Hypershock, Apogee, Blazestone, Universal Man, Gamma Jack, Downburst, Macroburst, and Psycwave, all of which are superheroes killed by Syndrome... THIS MEANS THAT ALL 10 OTHER SUPERS WERE BOB'S FRIENDS! That explains why he was so horrified. He not only lost allies, but he lost literal FRIENDS! Hell, in his NSA audio file, he literally talks about Phylange, which suggested that they were close friends. In the comics, Everseer left instructions to the NSA shortly before his death to send a packet of information to Bob about a decade later, containing nostalgic entries about Stormicide and Gamma Jack. Everseer apparently foresaw his death years before the event, much to the confusion of Bob and Lucius who, whilst respecting his powers of telepathy, always considered his clairvoyance to be mere superstition. This led to Bob having to find the HARD way that Everseer was truly right. And all of this because he rejected his former fan.

I always wanted to draw Everseer and Macroburst together. According to the NSA files, Macroburst use to be Everseer's sidekick. I imagine their dynamic is "Formal, strict, and obsessive teacher and the carefree layback student". Very different people but they work very well together and are great friends.
( I do have a sad headcanon that they did keep in touch after the Super ban, when Macroburst learn about Everseer's disappearance they did anything to find their former mentor. Of course, they would go with Mirage if it means finding their friend.

Incredibles Super Lore- Everseer
(All from an Incredibles DVD bonus (you can watch it on yt))
(Context Rick Dicker is interviewing other supers)
A personal favorite of mine, I like when super powers have a kinda downside that makes you think... hmm maybe I wouldn't want super powers [._.]
He is constantly seeing microscopic germs on everyone and everything. This is not a power he can turn off and on like other superheros in media (superman) This causes him to be germaphobic not liking physical contact.
I find it funny and disturbing that he can read the minds of animals and especially doesn't like mind read squirrels minds. WHAT ARE THESE SQUIRRELS THINKING?
I feel like he would be a better superhero working from the background like reading the villains mind and coming up with a plan since his very intelligence is high. But maybe not in the fight... In the voice recording he mentions "I can knock 3 people into a wall if I need to" he also mentions that he can make people perceive that they are being beaten up and win that way. So this guy can kinda mind control ppl? That's crazy. At the end of the voice recording he goes on a hysterical rant on how germs are everywhere and nothings clean. He was also part of a small team called The Phantasmics but that's another post.
Thx if you read all this interesting lore! :D

Typhloesus wellsi has been a mystery for a long time.
First discovered in the early 1970s, in the mid-Carboniferous Bear Gulch Limestone deposits (~324 million years ago) of Montana, USA, it was initially mistaken for the long-sought-after "conodont animal" due to the presence of numerous conodont teeth inside its body. But just a few years later well-preserved eel-like conodont animals were found elsewhere, and it became apparent that the conodont teeth inside Typhloesus had actually just been part of its last meal.
But if it wasn't a conodont… then what was it?
Up to about 10cm long (4"), Typhloesus had a streamlined body with a vertical tail fin and paired "keels" along its sides. It had a mouth and a gut cavity, but no apparent anus, and it also didn't seem to have any eyes or other sensory structures. And in the middle of its body there was something very weird – a pair of "ferrodiscus" organs, disc-shaped structures which contained high concentrations of iron but whose function was completely unknown.
This anatomy just didn't match any other known animals, so much so that it gained the nickname of "alien goldfish".
For the next few decades it remained a bizarre enigma, at best tentatively considered to represent an unknown lineage of some sort of metazoan that left almost no other fossil record due to being entirely soft-bodied.
But now, 50 years after its initial discovery, we might just finally have a clue about Typhloesus' true identity.
Recently something new was discovered in some Typhloesus specimens – a radula-like feeding structure that was probably part of an eversible proboscis. This would mean that Typhloesus was a mollusc, possibly a gastropod that convergently evolved a swimming predatory lifestyle similar to modern pterotracheoids.
It's not a definite identification yet, and even if it was a mollusc it was an incredibly strange one, with features like the ferrodiscus still lacking any explanation. But this discovery at least shows that there are still new details waiting to be found in the "alien goldfish" fossils, and gives us a start towards bringing its classification back down to earth.

» puppy dog — miyuki kazuya x reader  *:・゚✧
Tumblr media
18+ content | 2k words | kazuya has always been exeptionally full of himself. at least to the outside word, and maybe you can't help but want to but him in his place. something that turns out to be a thrill like no other.
cw: afab!reader, pet names (big boy, darling etc.), slight dry humping, premature ejacutation, dubcon (if you squint), virgin!kazuya, experienced!reader, very slight corruption kink (also if you squint), multiple orgasms, unprotected sex, spit.
Tumblr media
with his back pressed firmly into the plush of the couch, kazuya swallowed thickly. you watched on with a wry smile as he did, eyes tracking the bob of his adams apple. you stood before him, looming, presence hovering before him. you hadn’t even touched him yet, but his mouth felt dry and his breath stuttered as you placed your knee on the couch beside him. you were close. so, so close. His gaze flickered, currently lacking the bold gleam and brazen confidence he usually liked to sport, he couldn’t meet yours head on.
you’d always known that he was full of himself. or maybe full of himself wasn’t exactly the right words but he was cocky. and flirty. incredibly so. on that specific day, you’d heard one too many of his obnoxious flirty remarks, and that’s when a strong desire arose in you. a desire to make him falter. to somehow wipe that insufferable smirk off of his face. something you would soon learn, wasn’t as hard as one would think. so that’s when you turned to him and uttered.
“you really think you’re all that, huh?” you cocked your head to the side and studied him as a wicked little grin tugged at the corner of your mouth. “well have at it, big boy. show me what you’re made of.”
“don’t start something you can’t finish, darling,” he said, the final word spoken in a mocking drawl. you knew that his words were meant as a warning, but you were not about to back down. not now. not when you’d so clearly upped and challenged him. and so you stepped closer to the couch. to him.
“oh i intend to follow through. darling.” as you spoke, you added even more pressure to the pet name, turning his own mockery right back on him. not only had his eyes widened at your words, it had also effectively shut him up, his mouth snapping shut and trapping the words inside that had readily sat at the tip of his tongue. the tiny kindle inside of you flared at the sight, and you couldn’t help but want to see him crack even further, and all but a beat, you’d moved up to him entirely. “do you?”
now you were straddling his frame on the couch, lowering your weight down to his clothed lap. a sharp inhale whistled between his teeth the moment you rested against him, and you couldn’t help the wicked ruse of sinful glee that was bubbling inside of you. “oh, fuck,” he hissed when you did a teasing little roll of your hips. his collected exterior was cracking and the confidence slipped at a rapid pace that you hadn’t expected, but yet made you feel powerful. strong. sexy. on each side of you, kazuyai’s hands were digging into the fabric of the couch. hard. his lower lip tucked in between his teeth as he repeatedly tried to maintain eye contact. something he’s yet to succeed. the strain underneath you and his already shallow breathing made the final jigsaw piece slide in place when it clicked.
“miyuki,” you cocked an eyebrow at him and his eyes darted back to yours. “have you never done this before?”
“what?”
“are you a virgin?” you asked him. you half expected him to deny it, but he didn’t. his fingers twitched against the couch and his jaw clenched. but then he nodded, gaze averting yours again as his teeth dug into his lip harder.
“well then,” you said with a teasing lilt in your voice. confident, you guided his hands up to rest on your thighs, while moving in to catch his gaze once more. “why don’t you let me show you a good time, big boy.”
when kazuya had nodded, perhaps a little too enthusiastically despite the eversion of your gaze, it hadn’t taken you long before your panties lay discarded on the floor along with his shirt. the straps of your dress hanging loosely off your shoulders, revealing a tad more of your chest than could be deemed properly decent. between your smaller hands were his bigger one. you’d picked it up and held it in front of you, his fingers splayed against nothing but air. his breathing hitches when your saliva trickles from your tongue to his fingers. he should probably be weirded out by it, something told him at the back of his mind. grossed out. but he wasn’t. instead he found himself transfixed by the sight of your tongue sticking out. your spit rolling off of it, stretching to meet his skin. transfixed, also, by the wet feeling against his fingers. so much so, that his cock jumped underneath you, and you couldn’t help but roll your hips against him, relishing in the delicious friction against your sex.
“fuck—”
when you put his fingers in your mouth, kazuya was so sure he was going to die. he was going to combust and die a virgin, and he wouldn’t even mind. your tongue against his fingers and your pussy grinding against him. what could possibly be better than this? a question, he would very soon find, and feel, the answer to. a question, to which, the answer came, the moment you pulled his fingers from your mouth, and guided them south. with one hand, you held his chin and kept him still as you captured his lips with yours. with the other, you led his slick hand underneath your short dress, and once you pressed one of his fingers and your own past the entrance of your wet hole, that is when he knew the answer to his question. this. this was even better. so much so, that he groaned softly, breaking the kiss as his jaw grew slack, his eyes glazed and his eyebrows knitted together. just then, you took a moment to just admire the view, bearing clear evidence as to just what you did to him. truly a sight to behold. but you weren’t done yet. of course you weren’t, you’d promised him a good time after all.
“h-hold on–” kazuya’s voice was small. frail even. and every little bit filled with the anticipation you inspired in him. your movements stilled as you cocked your head to the side. his free hand had laid itself against your hip bone, fingers dipping into your skin. “i’m– i’m gonna– please– slow down–”
“oh no, poor guy,” you cooed, cupping his cheek in one hand, an action in such stark contrast to the filthy thoughts in your head and the way your other hand worked him deeper inside. “you close already?” you asked and rocked your hips against his hand and lap. kazuya’s breathing hitched and his lower lip sucked in between his teeth.
kazuya nodded frantically, and a twisted sense of joyful satisfaction settled inside, when you leaned down until your nose lightly bumped against his. the way he looked up at you, almost felt dizzying, eyes all glazed and dilated pupils.
“what if i don’t want to take it slow?” your words came as a whisper, yet they rung through the air between you. around you. everywhere. at first, kazuya didn’t react. then his eyes widened. slowly as the implication dawned on him.
“no. no, no, no—“ he started, but neither of you heard the rest, when you caught his lips with yours, relishing in how sharply he inhaled when you connected. when you rocked down against him and increased the rhythm of which you worked his fingers into you. his free hand desperately clawed at your thigh, but you didn’t slow. fingers dipped harder into your skin as his fingers angled in just the right direction. you moaned against his lip and his fingers twitched, his hips bucked and a loud whine of his own followed yours.
kazuya had said he was close, but you hadn’t expected it to be that easy to push him over the edge. but now that you had, his breath was heaving and you felt utterly accomplished. accomplished, but not yet satisfied, your hunger only momentarily quenched.
once kazuya came down from his high, cheeks flushed and cheeks heated, it took him a moment before to decipher the scene in front of him. both your hands worked to undo his pants, and he only just registered what was happening, when his cock sprung free, and the charged air between you, ghosted over his sensitive skin. his eyes flicked to yours, only to find your gaze already fixed on his with a bemused glimmer in your eye.
“i promised you a good time, didn’t i?” you asked him, but cut him off before he could reply, lips parted slightly as if ready to speak. “don’t think that means you’re the only one who gets to have fun, though.”
surprise clearly evident in every feature of his face, mingled with the just as clear hypnotic daze of his arousal. it makes you want to laugh. not because it’s funny that he desires you. but because it’s so incredibly endearing, something so starkly contrasting kazuya’s usually confident and collected attitude. it’s endearing, and it makes you feel powerful. it makes you feel in control and it makes your pussy clamp in anticipation. so you smile at him, eyes glimmering in mischief as your hand wrapped around his cock. the sounds he makes when you give him a couple of strokes are something so pathetic and you can’t help but relish in his noises. the pitch change, reaching even higher when you finally take him inside.
he knew deep down, that he should have said something. should have asked you to wait. should have– should have– but he didn’t. he was too far gone for that, and when you settled against his lap, his head fell to your shoulder as a shudder ripped through his body, and he just couldn’t care less. or maybe he would have cared if he had half a mind to string any coherent thoughts together at all. but as it was, he didn’t.
“hey now,” firm fingers curled around his chin and tilted his head up, until his eyes met yours. ”look at me, big boy.” he’s looking at you. he is, but through the haze of the pleasurable rolls of your hips against his lap, he doesn’t actually see much. he’s trying though. but when your movements pick up pace, pathetic moans spill over his lips, and his eyes roll back. if you hadn’t held his chin, you knew his head would be lolling to the side. he was utterly drunk on the feeling of being inside of you, and judging by the shameless whining and moaning, he didn’t mind being at your mercy this way. his hands moved as if on instinct and settled harshly on your hips once again, and that’s when he surprised you. his hips bucked, thrusting up to meet the roll of your hips, punching a moan from your own lungs. at first you thought it’d been intentional, but when you looked at him it was clear that it hadn’t been. his body worked entirely on it’s own accord, bucked and writhed, stroked and grabbed, all in time with your movements, subconsciously creating a synchronized chase on your shared highs. at this point, the air surrounding you filled with both of your moans. it filled with the wet sounds of his cock grinding into your pussy. it filled with the heat radiating from your bodies. and it filled with the charged electricity and anticipation, until it broke. pleasure washed over you, covering everything and engulfing you completely in the sweetness flitting into every corner of the room.
your highs subsided, way too early for kazuya’s liking. actually, this whole moment in time with you, ended far too early. you weren’t actually sure what you’d expected. probably that you’d had sex and that would be it. it wouldn’t change anything. but as it was, you’d soon learn that things would absolutely change. not for you, but for kazuya. it took a few days before you really realized but when you did, that incredible feeling of being powerful swelled up in your chest once more. not only had kazuya’s demeanor slightly shifted towards you. oh no, the guy’s gaze followed your every move with something soft and dazed in his eyes, and often times you found that he followed close behind when you went anywhere he couldn’t see you. kazuya had definitely changed. from brazen and confident to no more than something akin to a lost puppy dog, that’s finally found it’s owner.

National Supers Agency - Supers audio files (The Incredibles DVD disc 2). Based on this video do you think some of these powers could translate well as quirks. Downburst for one seems like a prototype/downgrade of Overhaul so I think it'd work well as a minor quirk
For the sake of this, I'm sticking with the characters in the video and none from the actual movies, so no Frozone. Right off the bat, I'm telling you that Gamma Jack, Dynaguy, Downburst, Metaman, and Universal Man all can't work. Their abilites are either too varied or too powerful. You compare some of their powers to "Overhaul", but reshaping stuff doesn't even come close to total control over matter. Then we eliminate powers that are too similar. We've got "Hellflame" for Blastone, "Whirlwind" for Macroburst, "Vibrate" for Hypershock, and "Voice" for the The Phylange. From there, it's just matter of focusing on the main gimmicks of the other characters. Everseer: Eyeglass Gazerbeam: Shiner Plasmabolt: Ambiance Psycwave: Mindsweeper Splashdown: Waterlogged Stormicide: Iron Lung Stratogale: Exertion Thunderhead: Hydrometer

I remember reading some asks that when you were in Guardians fandom, people were always correcting some stuff too, that they though is wrong or smth. And I feel like especially after so long writing your own universes, those very "smart" anons are really annoying. I just hope that they won't suck any wind from benith your wings and you don't spend much energy on answers to their asks and that you know always know - your writing is your own and we are fucking blessed for reading it <3
Maybe I just have forgotten so that I can mostly remember the good things (haha) but aside from people always having a bone to pick with me calling Pitch's daughter Seraphina, Rise of the Guardians was generally pretty chill!
I think back then there were a lot more 'why are you depicting Bunnymund this way?' or 'Why are you making this choice?' which as open-ended questions I really don't mind answering!! Even when it's obvious that the person who's asking the question doesn't agree with my depiction, then I can explain myself, vs. someone just anonymously coming in to go 'hi you are wrong' when... I'm not O.o
Different fandoms have different feels to them, kind of like visiting different countries! DnD / FR as a fandom seems to have a pocket of vocal people who want to prove they know more than me about DnD / FR to which I'll just say - you all know more than me, you win, here's your trophy, now let me write my fic the way I want thanks and learn how to read tags/author's notes :D That being said, the folks who don't care about that shit and just want to enjoy Astarion being railed / living his best-worst life have been the BEST and I really enjoy how thoughtful they are and how cool their comments are. There's some super engaged folks in this fandom who have really great takes on things, and I enjoy that side of it a lot.
Rise of the Guardians was incredibly creative. Like, to this day, I know one fanartist who went to work at Dreamworks, one who does official art for Hearthstone and works for Blizzard (her dream - and I still have her fanart of Gwyn in my house!), plenty more who went on to become professional artists, comic writers, writers, animators etc. I think the visual art and style of that show attracted so many people who love art, which was fun. We also had antis, but whatever, I feel like every fandom has those if you're active in the fandom.
Stardew Valley is mostly very mild, because it's intermittently very quiet and there's so many different pairings, and I've always written rarepairs. Generally people who enjoy that game are pretty low-key, and they're some of the nicest folks I've met in like anon asks and in comments! Love SDV peeps and it's been a pleasure to come back to the fandom.
Dragon Age: Inquisition was... lol. Lol. Well, look, I made some amazing friends through that fandom who I still know today. It attracted actually a surprising amount of older fandom folks who brought a lot of knowledge about how to write fic, so the fandom is drenched in really good fic, really good art. There was a ton of fucking drama, and some of the most acephobic rhetoric I've ever seen came out of this fandom, including asexual block-lists where people hunted each other down on Tumblr with things like 'have you blocked this person yet they're asexual' in anon. So like... DAI was a RIDE. The people I met in that fandom as friends I'll treasure. The actual fandom itself was a trash-fire depending on where you were. There were definitely a couple of BNFs in this fandom who made it their job to just hate other people, especially if they were ace and liked writing an ace Dorian Pavus. That was the first time I learned that blocking is good for the soul.
The Beast that Chose Its Own Bridle is a tiny fandom made of people who all love Felix and Mildmay very much :D
Detroit Become Human was a weird experience and it felt like a weird fandom. It was I think Korean or Japanese fanart that actually inspired Eversion, since that's where the first reverse!AU fanart (at least that I saw) began. But the comments could be weird, the anons were sometimes weird (not always, but sometimes! Especially in the beginning - and I just think first impressions really count lol), and I remember joining a Connor/Hank Discord where the most active folks were very quick to tell me how I should write my story, which was like - I like that they liked the story, but I've never had people try to show how much they like something by trying to change it into something they like more in quite that way before? I didn't really feel like staying in the fandom, tbh, it's extremely cliquey, especially all the folks that have like 400 names for the different versions of Connor, and it feels like it has a steep learning curve if you want to join the 'club.'
It was also the story where I had to do the most heavy lifting on BDSM education. Like, this fandom felt very BDSM naive *overall* - there's obviously exceptions, but I had to literally change how I was writing the story to explain more things than I normally would have done in a fic like that, because I was just getting so many 'why would Connor want to be humiliated during sex' anons and comments which was like okay, okay, let's actually do some 101 brochure stuff with this (the chapter where Connor calls Luuk and they talk about Connor liking being humiliated was not meant to be a whole chapter dslkfjas).
In fandoms like Thorki I could assume that the majority of readers would sort of get that even if it was a kink they didn't like - it was still just a kink that people can like and/or help others out with explanations. So it's possible D:BH skewed young and/or just not BDSM experienced! Which is fine! It's just I've noticed it here the most of all the fandoms I've been in. There were folks who knew kink really well who didn't need any explanations there at all, because I tend to over-explain a character's reasoning at the best of times, but yeah.
These are all like... deeply personal experiences influenced by the pairings I'm writing and how deeply I'm going into each fandom! I was tag-tracking in RotG / D:BH / DA:I, so I saw a lot more stuff, I think.
There's other fandoms I've been a part of but not really written for much or at all, like Thorki (love it there) and Sebaciel re: Black Butler (love it there too, but we lose a lot of writers because of antis), and also Murderbot (really weirdly cliquey in a 'oh... I see' kind of way, which might explain why a small pocket of people are writing most of the fics - because they're the only ones allowed in their Discord lol). Murderbot fandom is why I didn't end up writing Murderbot fanfiction sdalkfjdsa
Anyway, fandoms are weird, personal spaces that should be heavily curated! But I can't stop anons coming into my inbox with certain 'flavours' of question per fandom unless I turn off anon and honestly where would be the fun of that :D :D :D

*deep, excited breath* okay, so eversion is an indie horror platformer that was first released for free for windows in 2008, but had an HD re-release in 2010 that was uploaded to steam for $5 (its still up there today). i'm pretty sure the re-release also added an extra level, as well two more endings (for a total of three)
it's really short, and can be completed in just a couple of hours. it's a bit challenging, although this is more due to the controls not being the greatest, rather than the game actually being that difficult. or maybe i'm just bad, idk, lol. but i enjoy it either way ^-^
the game has pixel graphics, but they work really well. i honestly love it's visual style, because it's so simple, but it can also change so much. in order to progress through the game, you have to "evert" to different, increasingly dark, worlds. it creates some fun puzzles, although there are some areas where it's a bit annoying to find the eversion spot (where you can evert) or you have to evert a bunch in a row. but anyway
the game has collectables in the form of gems, and i'm pretty sure you have to collect all of them in order to unlock the final level. thankfully, once you collect a gem, it's yours, even if you die or don't complete the level. so if you have to sacrifice yourself in order to get the gem, at least you'll keep it XD
all three of the endings are fantastic, and i actually wrote an amphibia fanfic inspired by them (it's called "three bad endings"!) i won't spoil the endings here, just in case you or anybody reading this decides to play the game, but yeah. they're cool ^-^
you play as this little flower guy named zee tee, and he's just. so round. and i love him. he goes off to save the princess of the flower kingdom, princess nehema!
eversion was the "cute indie game that's secretly terrifying" before it was a thing (which, just to be clear, i love that trope). team salvado, the creator of doki doki literature club, actually cited eversion as a source of inspiration for ddlc! which is just. so cool. while ddlc is pretty much objectively a "better game", there's something about eversion that i just love!
if for nothing else, i think eversion is worth playing because of the ideas within it. the world-building is so creative and the vibes are incredible. even if it isn't necessarily the "best" game, i still really love it, and absolutely think it's worth playing, if only for the inspiration it might give you.
eversion was also the first horror thing i really got into, so it's super special to me because of that also ^^' i love horror (not necessarily jumpscares, tho) and eversion absolutely scratched that itch for me <3
*sound of me taking notes*
I rarely play platformers because I don't have a terribly good reaction time (and I couldn't play this one anyway because I have a mac) but I enjoy that type of horror so I might watch a playthrough ^^

The horror of CotS
I am an unashamed horror fan- that's words that come from a person who lives their life through fear and has lived it from an incredibly young age. But I hardly resent it as much, I love employing my fear into having a positive role in my life. With a life weirdly colored by fears of all kinds, it has always embedded itself into my thinking. Does it sound weirdly cynical? Nearly every joke I make has to do with some over the top force of destruction, a painful extreme, or tragedy of some kind! I have some love affair with the evil and the darkness. When I was about 8 or 9 I became an avid consumer of short horror stories. There was a book I had that was an anthology of horror from all over the world. From stories about maggots, to one about a snake hiding as a woman, to one about rats destroying a ship and the spirit of a devoured hog coming back to terrorize the living. Not all these stories were the flavor of "man gets chased by scary monster!" which I don't care for so much. But the ones I liked the most were the ones that sat on the brain. There was a story by Horatio Quiroga called "The Feather Pillow", and I won't spoil it, but it scared me so bad I became paranoid for weeks that things were living inside my pillow. That kind of slow, suspenseful horror, or the horror of things that take you by surprise by allowing you the reader to just make those connections have always gripped me the most. When it comes to CotS, it presents itself more like an supernatural fantasy adventure which is what I expect people to see it as. In many ways, it's what I want people to see it as. In fact, the more people get blindsided by the horror of the story to me the better. Well, I don't exactly inform it with as little subtlety as a game like Eversion for instance (just as example, it's a game which disguises the horror in cute and colorful graphics). You know it's there, but you don't know how or how far. That's the story. One thing i'm proud to have helped write is that it continues through and through even past the part where we think we know. I anticipate that up to that point people might assume that's all there is to it, the magic is over, the monsters are lit on all angles so that there is no darkness left. That's where I have to reiterate this story is for horror fans, but specifically people who look to be scared. Because those people like me who have overactive imaginations just seem to enjoy the relentless paranoia that comes with the territory. I believe that's the marker of success for a story- when it gets into people's heads, even if it's just a part of the story and not the whole thing, it gains a taste of life. People like to wonder. I hope that one day we can also get people to wonder about it the same way we have, then I think I could finally call this work a success.

You know that list of terminated Supers?
Tumblr media
Yeah, that one.
The list starts off with a bang, and with the complete erasure of the Phantasmics in one go. Well, mostly complete.
The order of deaths is as follow:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nowhere on the visible listing of terminated Supers is there Plasmabolt. The other three are very much dead, but she is conspicuously absent. There is a distinct possibility Plasmabolt is still alive.
As for the particular order of the Phantasmics’ deaths, they all fought the same droid 1.0., Macroburst the one to destroy it. Nowhere does it specify that Syndrome only snagged Supers one by one. Depending on how young he was when he began his killing spree, he could have wanted to see how it tested against a group of Supers. Supers who were weaker and with less than ideal powers. Psycwave and Everseer have mental powers, useless against a machine. Their threat rating is 1.6 and 3.2 respectively. Macroburst is squeaking by on a 5.9. Still not super powerful but enough to be a threat. Plasmabolt’s threat rating is unknown as she does not appear to be in Kronos’ databank.
My take on how it went down is they got caught in an ambush where both Everseer and Psycwave were killed first, their mental powers/attacks doing nothing on a man-made machine.
There were four in the Phantasmics. As Plasmabolt’s powers were flight and plasma control, I would assume she’d be more of a threat to the droid. But Macroburst is the one to take it out, not her. So that could indicate she wasn’t even with them at the time. It wouldn’t be far fetched to assume she had other duties that separated her from their group. If that was the case, the only way she might have heard about her teammates’ deaths would have been from a traumatized Macroburst before he disappeared himself, leaving her the last surviving member of the Phantasmics.
As for Macroburst… Possibly suffering from survivor guilt and/or suicidal tendencies, he might have gone searching for the source of that droid/been lured back for revenge for his dead comrades and been drawn into last bout with a new droid—one that ended in the Super’s death.
An entire group of Supers, felled in one blow. All but one.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Guys?!!?
Tumblr media
I'm not making this up, I swear.
https://www.deviantart.com/embercoral/art/From-Zero-To-Hero-330410135
I did this in 2012. I made a GIF out of it and everything. I wasn't even trying to predict anything, like, what?!!?

Because apparently I don’t have enough fan art projects yet, I decided to draw every super Syndrome killed in The Incredibles in my style and designing what they’d look like out of their costumes during the Golden Age and 15 years later (or whenever it was when they died). I’m using the small b&w portraits of the heroes and the Lego game models as a base.
So here’s the first set consisting of all of those who fought Omnidroid v.X1: Universal Man, Psycwave, Everseer and Macroburst who managed to destroy it.
I’ll be mixing canon and headcanon under the cut.
Universal Man (around ages 35-50) claimed to have his suit on always and not to have a secret identity of any kind. But there was some sort of guy under that suit, right? Because of this he probably had the hardest time out of every super when the Relocation Program went in effect. He had lots of run-ins to law enforcement and sat in jails for doing superhero work regardless. Because of this he probably suffered from severe depression and/or substance abuse for a while when trying to cope with the law. Later he realised there’s many kinds of ways of helping your local community so he ended up working at local homeless shelters and orphanages and the like. Even though he found it very fulfilling, he just couldn’t help when he was called to do some hero work to a remote location...
Psycwave (around ages 30-45) was a psychologist out of her suit but got frustrated with the work and quit. Everseer was her colleague. She probably ended up being some sort of social worker later. I don’t think she really moonlighted that much as a hero after the law (even though she did use her powers in her everyday life occasionally) so it took a bit of convincing to trap her with the Omnidroid.
Everseer (around ages 37-52) shared a therapist practice with Psycwave and wrote books on psychology as his secret identity. In his super suit he led a superhero group The Phantasmics, where Psycwave and Macroburst also belonged to. His OCD and germaphobia made it hard for him to fight crime occasionally, so I think the Relocation Program was kind of a blessing for him and he could just fully focus in his therapist career (and probably utilize his powers there sometimes). His former colleague Psycwave was used as a bait for him to go do superhero things one last time.
Macroburst (around ages 19-34) was the sidekick of Everseer and was called “The Kid” by him. No-one knew their gender or who they were outside of their suit and they preferred it that way. They were just a pretty regular late-teens college student who was obsessed with their looks and wanted always to out-fashion everyone else (and they did). They didn’t really do illegal hero work after the law because they didn’t like to do it alone. Both Psycwave’s and Everseer’s disappearances were used as leverage to make them to take the bait. They managed to be the first one to destroy an Omnidroid but they were later killed by v.X2 that knew to exploit Macroburst’s severe claustrophobia.
