I’m really just admiring all the little tidbits and details that are peppered into the show
I’m rewatching right now and am currently on season three, and there are little hints to future episodes preceding them
for example, I’m watching the gone fishing job and there is a scene where parker and sophie get out of the car and parker goes ‘wow, who knew a sedan could hit 140′ and sophie is like ‘you are never getting behind the wheel of a car again’, which directly foreshadows later episode the boost job
or how in the jailhouse job eliot uses his wes abernathy alias, which is revealed to originate from the story told in the rashomon job
there’s going to be more bits like this as I watch, I’m sure, and I’m sure there are going to be little pieces that I miss
just, there is absolutely no question that this show was made with love and care by the people that created it

Oh also my father in law was recently delighted to get to lord over me that he knew a trivia I didn’t know. See, he owns a carpet cleaning business, so he noticed right away that in the beginning of the Jailhouse Job, when Hardison is pretending to clean the floors, a) he never actually sets that machine down on the floor, and b) that’s because it’s a carpet cleaning machine and would totally fuck up the nice hard floors they’re standing on

Eliot used the same alias in the jailhouse job as he did in the flashbacks of the rashomon job and Sophie still didn't put two and two together until Eliot laid it out for her!?

Has anybody ever talked about how Leverage season 3 started with them getting Nate out of prison by trying to run a campaign and the season ended with them trying to get Flores out of prison by running a campaign?

Whumpuary prompt fill for Hidden Injury
Really it's hidden extent of injury - AU for end of The Carnival Job, where Eliot is more seriously injured than he lets them believe, and he goes to Nate's bathroom to patch himself up but immediately passes out. Hardison comes to check on him when they're about to head down to the bar, and finds him unconscious on the floor.

Whumpuary prompt fill for Torture
Because Eliot says that nothing is worse than what he lives with everyday, and the moment he realises they're going to be chasing Moreau, that daily mental torture from his past probably got a whole lot worse. So some point after the moment they make the agreement to chase Moreau, Eliot locks himself in the bathroom to silently try to deal with the freshly opened wounds in his mind.

Leverage Log, Season 3 E1: The Jailhouse Job
We have a commentary on the US governments continuous use of slavery in the prisonsystem (which is always a nice thing to see) and almost had me happy and distracted enough that I didnt see what they were doing with the guys name
They named him Adam Worth... They actually named him Adam Worth... They named the episode's villain Adam FUCKING Worth
As in "Adam Worth" the famous historic soldier who was mistakenly reported dead during the American civil war, and used the opportunity of his misreported death to become a renowned criminal whose empire was so notable that it served it earned him the actual title of "napoleon of crime"
They named the seasons started villain after the real historic inspiration for James Moriarty, and they thought I wouldnt notice?! Shame on you sir! Shame on you!
But yeah, also the season finale 2-parter was good and well executed, but what else can you expect from a show that has been consistently rocking it this hard. (thats mostly why i forgot to update the log, its too good to for me to stop and take the time to freeze an episode to write something. Gotta finish the episode first, and when its finished.. might as well watch the next one).

Love how the team made sure that they did not only break Nate out, but also get him a perfectly fitted suit on the way out.
And threatened him a few times. All in days job
