A Knight and His Squire- Part two
Alright here it is, Part two!
CONTENT WARNING: 18+, NSFW, Minors DNI, unprotected sex.
Pairing: Luis x Leon.
A continuation of Luis and Leon's activities in the basement (: enjoy.
A big thanks to my editor and reader, Suri.
Here's a link to part one!
Part two is just below the cut here =p
“Ah, ah fuck,” Luis cried out.
Leon’s passionate assault didn’t end there, with his free hand he jammed it down the front of Luis’ underwear grabbing ahold of him. Luis’ head spun at the sensation. Leon’s fingerless gloves felt rough against his sensitive flesh and yet his exposed fingers were surprisingly gentle, pain and pleasure merged as Leon’s hand moved up and down. Luis reached his hands up the back of Leon’s t-shirt, burying his nails into soft flesh. He worked in tandem with Leon and with every stroke Luis would scratch lines down his back.
“Looks like I’ve really made my mark,” Luis remarked, staring proudly at his handiwork. Vibrant red streaks ran all the way down Leon’s back, a stark contrast to his milky white skin.
“I think I’m ready to leave my mark too,” Leon grinned mischievously. He was hungry, his stomach empty and he had a whole feast in front of him.
“Reach into my back pocket.”
Confused yet compliant, Leon used his free hand to rummage in the back pocket of Luis’ jeans. He kept hold of his grip around Luis, there was no chance he was letting the sad excuse of a man weasel his way out of this one. Finally he found what Luis wanted.
“You serious?” Leon groaned in exasperation as he held up a clear bottle of viscous liquid, aptly labelled ‘lubricante’.
Luis shrugged. “Never know when you might find yourself in a tight spot.”
Leon gave Luis a firm squeeze, eliciting a pained yet lustful moan.
He brought the bottle to his lips and twisted the cap off using his teeth. He pulled off Luis’ remaining article of clothing, purposely throwing it so that it landed alongside its matching counterpart.
Luis felt vulnerable for the first time since entering that basement. His entire body laid bare to Leon’s piercing gaze.
“Guess it really was worth coming to Spain to see the sights,” Leon quipped, struggling not to laugh at his own joke. Luis rolled his eyes in response.
“Fucking tourists…”
Leon moved fast, stifling Luis’ complaints with a clumsy kiss. Luis couldn’t help but laugh inwardly at how inexperienced, yet earnest Leon’s affections were. Upon first meeting he thought the man uptight with no sense of humour but beneath the cold exterior of a secret agent was a kindhearted and caring soul.
Leon spread a generous layer of lube on his fingers, he turned to Luis once more, seeking approval in his longing gaze.
Just like a puppy. Luis smiled fondly at the comparison. He lovingly stroked his hand down Leon’s slim yet defined chest. His hand hovered over Leon’s boxers momentarily before he brought it down and clasped his hardening cock in one hand. That was all the go ahead Leon needed as he plunged a finger inside Luis.
Luis’ back arched but he didn’t call out, Leon would have to try harder than that. Accepting the unspoken challenge, Leon added another finger, and then another until finally the dark haired man let out a cry laced in ecstasy.
“You seem used to this,” Leon stated matter of factly.
Luis did his best to sound hurt by the accusation. “Are you insinuating something amigo?”
“Have a lot of companions, do ya?”
“I hope that’s not an issue for the president’s loyal little mutt.”
Leon chuckled. “I’m not the judgemental type, I promise. Just making an observation.” Sensing Luis’ hurt he pulled him close. “I’m a little jealous to be honest, I've only ever been with women.”
“That much was clear.”
Leon threw Luis to the ground playfully. “I’m getting tired of that smart mouth.” He reentered using his fingers, peppering Luis’ chest with kisses as he did so. He was desperate to taste every last inch of Luis.
“Hurry up and come inside,” Luis pleaded, his mind muddied with longing and impatience.
Leon pulled himself free from the confines of his boxers. With both hands available he steadied Luis’ hips as he lined himself up. They both moaned in unison as Leon pushed his way inside.
“Fuckkk,” Luis whimpered. “Leon, ah.”
There was no sound sweeter than the utterance of his name from Luis’ lips.
“Ah you like how that sounds do you?” Luis brought his mouth to Leon’s ear and whispered sensually. “Leon…”
Hearing it drawn out in that smooth Spanish accent sent Leon’s mind into a frenzy. He was on top once more as he buried himself desperately and repeatedly inside the other man.
Grunts and heavy breathing echoed throughout the room, along with the resounding clang of chains. The desire to draw it out and keep going crossed Leon’s mind but alas, he had a job to do.
Luis, sensing something was off, wrapped his legs round Leon tightly.
“Let’s wrap this up shall we?”
Leon shivered, there was something thrilling about being ordered around that really got him going.
“Ye- yes,” he ground out through deep gasps. His pace quickened, as did Luis’. Leon could feel his mind going once again, pleasure took hold of him and he could feel his release coming. With a final cry, “Luis, ah, ah,” he let go, filling Luis to the brim.
“Got there in the end,” Luis tried in vain to retain his earlier snark but lust overtook him as he let out a breathless howl, spilling all over Leon’s chest.
Both men collapsed to the floor in a satisfied heap. However, reality soon set it.
“Oh Jesus, i’m sorry Luis, fuck let me clean this up.” Leon frantically grabbed at the discarded tissues that fell out of Luis’ pockets earlier and began dabbing at the man.
“Quit it, quit it. If you wanna be helpful, fetch me my cigarettes,” Luis ordered as he sat upright, fiddling with his lighter.
Leon began overturning Luis’ pockets until his hands fell on the unmistakable box of cigarettes. Wiping his hands before he did so he pulled one from the box.
“Allow me.” He brought it to his mouth, holding it limply between his lips. Taking ahold of Luis’ hand he lit the cigarette. Leon’s hand cupped Luis’ for the first time that day. Leon let out a satisfied sigh as he savoured both the taste of the cigarette and the touch of Luis’ fingers.
“Didn’t take you for a smoker,” Luis smirked, snatching the lit cigarette with his free hand.
“Guess I’m open to trying new things.”
Luis scoffed. “Don’t get too used to riding on top, cowboy. I’ll show you how it’s done next time.”
Leon turned away in an attempt to hide the blush that was rising to his cheeks, when suddenly he broke out into a cocky grin.
“So, there’s gonna be a next time?”
Luis responded by tossing the closest piece of clothing he could find at Leon.
“Filthy American.” Luis chuckled in disbelief as he exhaled a puff of smoke.

This is a story I'm working on writing. Is it okay???? Can I get advice??
"I hate that I came." Alya groaned as she sat in front of the fountain playing with her hair piece between her fingers. Her father had told her she needed to attend this party no matter what. It was a party of pride for nobility, and was also one the Luner family couldn't afford not to attend. Yet, Alya despised it all. She hated the banter of polite conversations and sucking up to her. She loathed the dancing around her. "The food wasn't even good this time-" she held her stomach in her arms and sighed "and neither was the drinks."
She kicked her heels off and turned around to dip her feet into the water of the fountain, leaning back onto her hands. "At least the music is nice" she hummed as she began to sing along to the melody of the music. It was a song not often played at these sorts of parties. As she drifted off to space, a quiet noise came from the bushes behind her. One she didn't even notice.
"You sing really well."
Shocked Alya turned her head around. There behind her was a tall tan blonde man. "You have a leaf in your hair." she laughed.
He sheepishly turned around fluffed at his hair to try to remove what may be there.
Quickly Alya fixed herself so that she looked as she should... Proper. "Now, who might you be?" she asked with a slight grin on her face.
"My apologies. I'm Cyrus Suri, Second son of Sir Oriol Suri from the kingdom of Solas." Cyrus said as he bowed before Alya.
Alya held out her hand before her, "Alya Luner-" she grinned as he took it and kissed the top, "It's a pleasure your highness."
He looked up at her, straight into her sparking purple eyes. "The pleasure is all mine. So would you mind telling me why a lady such as yourself would be out here instead of inside?"
Alya smirked "I could ask the same of you, hiding in the bushes" He stepped to the side and sat beside her on the fountain's edge.
"Well, I couldn't stand the people" He muttered as he stared into the far distance of the garden before him. Alya slight snickered at his comment. "You too?"
"Mhm-" she tilted her head ever so slightly in agreement "-The people here just want connections and marriages. They thrive on gossip" she sighed as she leaned forwards against her dress. Her hands cradling her head in her hands. A few strands of her hair interlaced between her fingers.
"And here I thought you'd be the same." Cyrus joked and he leaned forwards to match her line of sight only to catch a glimpse of her slightly offended yet still face.
Alya turned to glare at him. "How so? Was it my clothes or the rumors of my country?" She stood up with a slight click from her heels. Of course even this stranger would assume she was a monster. Lunar family has always been seen as that, and she was no different.
"No- I didn't mean it like that" Cyrus stood up and walked after her. But she didn't turn back even after forgetting her bracelet on the fountain.
Instead she stomped off offended back to her carriage. "Wait please! Alya!" Cyrus shouted before she shut her carriage door with a quick "Good day Sir Suri."

Books I Read In September
45. The Oleander Sword, by Tasha Suri
Tumblr media
Pre-ordered this, and I’m entirely happy with what I got. I mean it’s got intrigue and angst and the literal and metaphorical selling of souls and lesbians and eldritch horrors and war crimes, what’s not to love?
But really, I’m pretty sure I already made the joke, but SFF lesbians and weird power dynamics around fealty and martyrdom sure are a pair, huh? (Or maybe that’s just a random bit of selection bias in the books I read/see talked about, but eh. I should catch up on Montress.)
Anyway, Malini is a joy to read, and the Yaksha are absolutely gorgeous and come across as rather believably alien, though I really do wish they weren’t quite so straightforwardly malevolent, and the temple/palace intrigues with whatever the asshole emperor’s name was and his priests was great. Can’t wait for book 3.
46. None the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
Tumblr media
My other pre-ordered book of the year. And look, I am largely outsourcing my opinions on this book to the ongoing 24/7 symposium digging into every bit of symbolism and possible reference in these things going on here in the tag. But, like, book good.
Also Pal and Cam, my beloveds. And Nona is adorable.
I need to go scream in the wilderness a bit again.
47. The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid
Tumblr media
This month’s attempt to acquire some Culture, via what was apparently the most influential book of 2007 (literally recommended to me because a coworker’s book club is doing it).
But no, this was good! Very much of it’s time, though less in a ‘dated in a bad way’ way, and more in a ‘future generations of college students will get assigned this and told to write an essay about the cultural fallout of the War On Terror.’
It really, really committed to the whole ‘life story told in a conversation over dinner’ framing device, to a degree that books basically never do - the prose of the whole thing still felt conversational and like it could actually be said by one person to another. The constant asides to the cuisine being served and the order of the courses and everything did eventually start to grate, though.
The big central twist is, well, barely a twist - except that the title gives you a very definite idea of where the protagonist’s arc is going to end up that you bring with you into the book. Still, really well done.
I’m surprised you don’t see the janissarya analogy made more often in modern polemic. Shoe doesn’t exactly fit, but close enough that you’d think it’d get some use.
48. Exit Strategy by Martha Wells
Tumblr media
I really do adore Murderbot stories. They’re just perfectly sized for a lazy afternoon or two of reading, they’ve got the plot structure of a tightly edited 40-minute tv episode, and they’re just great fun comfort reads. Perfect book pringles. (Also Murderbot is one of the greatest protagonists of all time).
This one in particular would have honestly worked pretty well as a finale to the series? Or, since it clearly isn’t, I guess ‘works as a season finale’ is the better way to put it? It resolves the central underlying plot thread that’s been running through the books so far quite nicely, anyway.
I totally admit that aside from Murderbot only, like, four characters have made a sufficient impression that I can reliably identify them by just their names, though.
49. Elder Race by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Tumblr media
Hey, I finally finished the last Hugo nominee! Now to start feeling properly guilty about failing to answer that ask about my ranking/opinions from a month ago.
But no, this was good. The only Tchaikovsky I’d read before was Children of Time/Ruin, so this was definitely a change of pace (obvious similarities in setting aside). The whole central conceit of ‘fantasy setting is actually the result of an apocalypse destroying a technologically advanced civilization and the descendents of the survivors viewing the remnants as magical relics and sorcery’ is so thoroughly cliche I think people just stopped writing it for a couple decades, but the execution is really well done.
Nyr and Lynette are both fun POVs, anyway, and I absolutely adore anything that has multiple POVs seeing/taking part in the same events and interpreting them wildly differently. The one chapter that had two columns with Nyr providing exposition on one side and what Lynette&co actually understood him as saying on the other was great.
Tchaikovsky also did a really excellent job of capturing the whole horror and grief and ennui of being the Last Of Your Kind better than I usually see, and also saying Fuck the Prime Directive, which is always appreciated.
Also incredibly endearing that Nyr’s whole transhuman civilization gave themselves giant badass horns and then collectively decided to pretend it was for pragmatic utilitarian reasons.
50. Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells
Tumblr media
Because it’s 2 murder 2 bot month, I guess (but no all my holds on these really did just come in at once).
So apparently this was actually written after the novel, which I only found out after finishing it, but chronologically it seems to have taken place before? Which conveniently means I didn’t accidentally ruin any big twists for myself.
Anyway, this was a fun detective story sort of thing. Murderbot being continuously annoyed at how much harder the lack of a dystopian panopticon made their job was a great running gag.
51. The Thousand Eyes by A. K. Larkwood
Tumblr media
Because it’s magical lesbians month, I guess.
But no, this was a fun read. The whole setting and tone were very, hmm, D&D? Like a real mixture of super fantastical elements and generic fantasy things given different names (there are elves, and orcs, and for some reason specifically yuan-ti) and then the vision of society and the economics and the mindset and vocabulary of everyone who hasn’t been asleep in a ditch for ten thousand years is just incredibly modern. Not a complaint, it’s just very much a thing.
My actual complaint is that this was like four different discrete stories stacked on top of each other and put into a compactor until they all fit in one book. There were a lot of times where I was kind of left feeling that Larkwood was relying on me knowing how a given story/character arc goes so she could just skip through the high points and then resolve it without necessarily building it up beforehand.
(I also have a perpetual dislike for the plot beat of ‘oh no, the abusive cult who raised you was just doing their religion wrong. We’ve got a direct line to your/their god and he’s actually a great guy!’)
Interesting how minor a character Csorwe is in this one compared to Unspoken Name, really, but Shuthmili and Tal are both incredibly fun POVs so can’t say I really mind. Tsundere dragon goddess of betrayal and destruction was also a great time.

Chapter 38: No Age Jokes?
As we trekked over to the hillside, all my thoughts and worries about what I was going to do had subsided.  It was as if a peace had fallen over me, and I was living in the moment.  I need to do this more often, I was thinking.  Din stopped to point to an area that he wanted to go, so we headed over there.  Grogu beat us, patting the ground.  I laid out the blanket for us to sit on.  The sun was nearly down, and the sky was already lit up from the other galaxies with stars and planets.
I took a huge breath of the fresh, clean air and felt the cooler breeze hit my cheeks.  I quickly realized it was going to be chilly tonight, with my tanned skin hitting the cooler night air.  I started to stand up to go back and grab another blanket, and Din was standing there with one out already.
“Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.”  We both sat down next to the kid.  I wrapped the blanket over my shoulders, and he put an arm around me.  I shivered for a second and he pulled himself away.
“I’m sorry, it’s just the cold armor doesn’t help me right now.”
“I see.”  He looked at his arms a bit and started removing his arm and shoulder plates.
“What are you doing?”
“I want to be close to you right now and if that means I can’t wear everything, I won’t.”  I smiled and leaned back into him, feeling his warm skin through his flight suit.  This felt so comfortable, and I really wish I could have bottled the moment up.  He quickly pointed in the air.  “Look over there!”
I looked up and so did Grogu.  There was something moving fast, like a shooting star.  Then it disappeared into the night sky.  “What was that?  A ship?
“Maybe.”
I laid back on the blanket, pulling Din down with me, his arms still wrapped on the crook of my neck so I could use it like a pillow, and the other hand was on my waist.  “This really is beautiful, Din.  Look at all the different colors of the sky!  There’s green, purple, navy, some red.”
“Uh, huh.”  I looked over at him and he wasn’t even looking at the sky, just at me.
“Look up!  Don’t you see all this beauty?”
“I don’t need to look up to see beauty, Suri.”  Blushing with a smile that I was trying to hide from him, I looked over.
“Why do you say things like that?”
“Like what?  The truth?”
“No, things that get me to, well, find you that more attractive, addictive, engaging…….”  I stopped talking, just staring back at his helmet.  I could see his face in my mind though.  Almost as clear as day.  Grogu then squirmed his way up between us both and leaned back too.
“Gahhh, oooohhh!”  He said pointing up to the sky.
“What do you see kid?”  Din asked him.  He made a few more noises, and kept pointing, so I looked up too.
“What is that Grogu?”
Din looked up as well.  “What’s what?”
“That blue, silver light over in the green area.  Do you see it?”
“No, what are you talking about?”  Grogu stopped talking and looked right at me with his big old eyes.
“You see that, bright eyes, don’t you?”  He nodded and smiled, putting his little hand down.  “It’s a ship we think.”
“You must have the best eyes ever.  I don’t see it.”  He said, sitting up a little.
“Or you are just getting old.”  I teased.  He whipped his head around back at me and with his hand that was on my waist, he squeezed my hip with it, making me squeal and jump.
“What was that for?”  I asked, with a smile I was trying to hide from him.
“You called me old!  I’m not old!”  He was chuckling under the helmet.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.  I didn’t know Mandalorians could be so sensitive,” I joked, playfully shoving him back.
“We aren’t sensitive.  But when you talk about our age, well, even that is low.”  If you didn’t know him, you would think he was being so serious.
“Oh, you got jokes!  Ok, I promise never to bring up your old age again!”
“For an old man, I do move fast!”  As he said this, he leaned over Grogu to not squish him and started tickling my sides again, which made me curl up in a ball of laughter.
“Ok, ok!”  I gasped.  “No age jokes!”  He stopped and reached over to poke Grogu’s belly.
“You either!  No age jokes, definitely from you!”
“Wait, isn’t he older than both of us?”  I asked, still laughing a bit.
“Yes, he is around 55 years old.”  I sat up completely now and looked down at him.
I leaned into him.  “I know you aren’t old.”  I whispered.  “You’re just a little baby!”  I scooped him up in my arms as I hugged the life out of him.  He squirmed to get out of my grasp.  “No, no!  You’re staying here with me forever!”  I teased.  “Both you and your daddy!”
Din was sitting up at this point, enjoying the show.  I really didn’t mean to bring that up though.  I stopped hugging the kid and looked at Din, who was now staring straight at me.
I sighed, putting my hand on his gloved hand.  “I want this.  I want this, us three, to work out somehow.  That’s my decision!”  He nodded, and I felt a relief fall over him, but wanted to make sure.
“Is that what you want?”  I asked timidly.
“Yes, that is what I want.  I want us to be a family.  I just………. I need to figure out how.  I can go talk to my clan members to see what options I have.”  I nodded, feeling nervous for him, like they would exile him or something.  I knew they wouldn’t, but in essence, he was choosing a family over what he has been training for his entire life.  That wasn’t an easy decision.  “But now, we can be a family, here on Naboo.”
He stood up and reached out for my hand to help me up.  We packed up the blankets and kid and started to head back to our unit.  “What a day!”  I said out loud to myself, but so everyone else could hear me.
Walking back into the unit, we turned on a light to see.  Grogu hopped on the big bed again.  “That’s it, wear yourself out, little one!
Din and I sat on the sofa bed while the kid bounced.  “I’m too tired to stop him right now,” I said as I stretched my arms over my head, yawning.
“You can go to sleep if you want.  I can watch him until he settles down.”
I smiled and stood up.  I’m going to wash up first, and then I’ll take you up on that offer.  Thanks.”
He nodded, still sitting as I walked into the sterile refresher.  Staring at myself in the mirror, I couldn’t help but think, wow, what a simple life we live.  And I knew that wasn’t an exactly true statement, but at this moment, it was.

+x+
Dyson was laying down on the couch in the living room. His cheeks had dry tears on them, following with lips being dry, eyes half open and whole body still shaking since an hour ago.
You may ask, how did Dyson end up like this?
Well,
Let’s take a look, shouldn’t we?
“Oh cmon, dude. Just join us at the pool party! Look, your boyfriend will also be there”, Ken tried convincing the boy who was pissing on the other side of the door.
Ken was trying to talk with Dyson for five minutes now. The boy just wouldn’t give him an answer. That didn’t last long as Dyson let out a loud enough sigh to make Ken be glad he didn’t die there or something.
“Fine”, Dyson almost yelled out as he flushed the toilet behind “I will fucking join your silly pool party this night.”
That was enough for Ken as he triumph with joy and left the bathroom door alone, finally.
Dyson smiled slightly at the silliness of his friend, while pressing soap and washing his hands. He rubbed the wet hands on the towel that was hanging as he unlocked the door to walk out.
To his surprise, He saw a pair of feet in front of the door. He looked up and saw his boyfriend, Wart. The taller boy yelped as he went to a hug. His boyfriend hugged him right back as his hands slides down to Dyson’s ass, for support.
Dyson lets go as he has a wide smile on his face, and proceeds to kiss Wart. Only to get pushed back slightly, getting rejected to kiss his boyfriend.
Wart left Dyson confused, as he pat his shoulder before leaving to go to the kitchen where Suri and Ken were.
Dyson didn’t think much of it, since Wart was not a physical touch lover. It was only a try to kiss anyway, he could get that anytime soon.
As soon as he entered the kitchen he saw the three boys packing out the stuff Suri bought for the Party.
Alcohol bottles, sided with beer brands from germany and a few snacks like Chips and crackers.
Suri was a really nice guy.
No one even suggested him to buy stuff, he did it all by himself with his own money. Surely someone’s type.
Dyson smiled slightly as he walked up to them at the counter, checking out the stuff they bought. Sneakily throwing a chip in his mouth.
Or not so sneaky.
“Stop eating! These are for the party, you can’t finish it already”, Wart scolded Dyson, kinda in a joking way, but not quite.
Dyson just nodded slightly as he put his hands on the counter, fidgeting with his fingers.
“Let him, Wart. I bought a lot anyway, it won’t finish anytime soon”, Suri assured the stubborn boy, making Dyson shoot his head up to look at him with slight widened eyes.
Dyson grinned before looking back down at his hands. Now fidgeting again, not because of embarrassment. Just because of the joy of someone defending him.
It really feels nice, doesn’t it?
But this didn’t. Dyson felt betrayed, totally betrayed
He was sitting behind the kitchen counter with his knees on his chest, tears rolling down his face onto his clothes and the floor. His hands clenched onto the fabric of his clothes. Nose scrunched at just the thought of what he saw.
What exactly happend?
Dyson, Ken, Suri and Wart were playing a game of UNO with some other dudes in the party. When Wart finally won, he jumped in joy and laughed a lot.
Dyson thought it was the cutest thing ever to see his boyfriend like this. All smiley and giggly. Cute.
Wart stopped messing around as he sat back down and whispered to a guy next to him.
Dyson thought of it just being a plan for the guy to mess everyone else up at the game. What else could it mean when the guy smiled right after?
How wrong he was.
“I gotta take Siwon to the restroom real quick, we will be right back! Y’all can play without us”, Wart notified the group as they all nodded in understanding. Expect Dyson. He felt his brain being too loud to even focus on the game. Something was not right.
“I have to get something, play without me”, Dyson notifies everyone immediately before storming out of the garden into the house. He speed walked to the restroom, making sure not to make any noise when he was getting closer.
To his luck the door crack was open wide enough for him to see what was happening.
Oh, he should have stayed curious.
Wart was leaning onto the sink, his head thrown back as the guy from earlier was on his knees.
Sucking his boyfriend off.
Dyson’s boyfriend.
Right at that moment Dyson felt his heart get ripped out of his chest and thrown in the toilet to flush away. As if it got chewed into pieces and then thrown away.
Was he this naive?
How long has this been going on?
They seem close.
“Fuck.. you are doing so good, pup”
The nickname, the pet name, that Wart just moaned out,
Dyson was the only one that Wart called that name.
Or so he thought.
Fuck, why is he still watching?
As soon as Wart came down the boy’s throat, Dyson started moving from his frozen position to the kitchen. On his way he accidently hit a shelf, knocking a picture frame off it, glass all over the floor.
“What was that?”, the muffled voice came from the restroom and Dyson ran as fast as he could behind the kitchen counter and slided down onto the floor.
He knew that Wart properly left the bathroom to see what the noise was, only to see a knocked over picture frame on the floor.
Probably not giving a shit, just like he doesn’t give a shit about Dyson’s feelings.
Fucking jerk.
Dyson felt like killing him. Just to choke him while he punched Wart multiple times, showing what he felt as soon as he saw that scene.
That scene that was not even worth doing.
But how could he? He loves Wart way too much. His precious face was not his to destroy. He was not even worth kissing Wart this morning. How can he lay a hand on him?
Fuck men. Fuck men. Fuck men.
Those two words filled Dyson’s head as the tears started rolling down his cheeks.
Was he really worth cheating on?
What did that boy have, that Dyson didn’t. He did everything to please Wart.
Including those times where Dyson was on his knees begging for Wart to touch him all over, clearly not even wanting it, but he had to please Wart.
Or else Wart wouldn’t even think before leaving him in the snap of a finger.
All those times Wart’s hands caressed his body, slapped it, squeezed it, pushed it and more. The amount of times they groped him inappropriately. Without his will.
Dyson was too love dizzy those times, not caring what he did to him as long as he felt his presence around him, knew he was pleasing Wart and heard him talk or make any kind of noise.
He really was head over heels for a man, a man who wouldn’t even do anything for him.
The thoughts rushed through Dyson’s head fast and loud enough for the boy to start grabbing his hair while he cried more and more.
His heart was beating so fast, it felt like exploding. His breath was faster and shakier, not in a rhythm. Dyson felt the pain just taking over his body.
What could he have done for Wart to be loyal to him?
What didn’t he do?
Dyson woke up laying on a couch, the blanket what he suppose was on him, fell on the ground. Nothing warming him up anymore. As if anything did.
He felt the dry tears on his cheeks and his eyes hurting from all the crying. His shirt stretched out from the grabbing and pulling.
The window by the living room was wide open, wind storming in. It was freezing in here.
The only real question he had was, how did he end up here?
Did someone carry him here or did he drink so much yesterday that he somehow walked here and slept?
But he really doesn’t remember drinking anything except a half can of beer, the other half probably cold outside.
His eyes focused on something at the other side of the room, another couch. It was common sense that Ken had two couches in his apartment, but that one had a person on it.
He put his feet on the floor, stretching his legs to get some sense of touch before standing up and kinda getting closer to the other couch, it was dark so he really couldn’t see anything.
The floor was creaking since it was a really old wooden floor. But that sound made the person on the couch twitch out from their sleep as the head turned to Dyson. With a deep, but gentle voice, the person spoke up.
“Dyson?”, the tone was questioning and Dyson knew that voice. It was oddly familiar. But his head spinned too much already from the crying as he tried to take a step forward, he felt weak and tripped over a pillow on the floor.
The person had quite good reflexes, it seems. Because they immediately sat up and opened their arms to catch Dyson, which was successful.
As soon as Dyson got conscious, he shook his head before looking at the unknown person.
“I’m so” he cut himself off as he realized it was Suri. They were so close to each other, faces inches away from touching. Suri’s head was between Dyson’s lengthy arms. The younger’s hands were wrapped on his hips, holding Dyson steady. Those sparkly eyes looked up at the older with worry and care.
Something Dyson got lied about.
‘What are you thinking, get off already’ Dyson startled himself as he stood up straight, Suri’s hands holding his hips still, which felt oddly… good.
God, fuck off.
Dyson stepped back, hands releasing the grip as Suri didn’t cut off the eye contact, but Dyson did.
Dyson looked at his feet as arms were on his sides. No clue on what to do.
“Did you lay me down here?” Dyson asked quite shy as he still avoided the eye contact, or any physical contact.
Just how Wart always did.
Suri cleared his throat with a cough “I found you laying down on the kitchen floor and didn’t want you to get a cold. So I made you comfy here while keeping guard by sleeping here also.”
Dyson nodded. So he did this out of pity, of course. That’s normal, it’s his best friend right?
“Thank you”, he whispers, but it was loud enough for Suri to hear and shoot a smile at him right where Dyson looked at him.
He smiled back.
Dyson immediately sat back down at the couch he was sleeping in as he wrapped himself with blanket on the floor and dropped himself down to sleep.
Suri just chuckled as he also tried drifting into sleep.
Dyson felt cold when he woke up, but now he kinda warmed up. It was surely not because of the blanket, it is thin.
The way Suri just.. cared about him. The way he touched him with worry and not in a sexual way.
It lightened Dyson up and made him forget about everything at that moment.

Sorry, did you say counterblogs? Wtf?
Yeah back in 2012 people got annoyed that me and Tin were writing Suri on our own blog with our own muses and decided they needed a straight Soap to be more 'canon compliant.' Because as we all know the fps shooting franchise is very frank about character sexualities and relationship dynamics. It was made explicit to me by both the mun and other members of the RPC that this blog went up as a direct result of my actions... my actions being having my muse be in love with a man, apparently.
The only difference between my Soap and the one I was told outright was a counterpoint to mine was that theirs was white and straight, since I played him both then and now as a biracial bisexual man.
I suspect the root of it was that I was more active with the Suri threads than I was with partners that weren't as willing to plot or who took longer to reply than Tin and a specific OC mun in particular took it personally, but IDK that it can ever be proven. All I know is Straight Soap really lavished the attention on an OC that was 'his wife' and some snide jokes were made in DMs about my Soap 'abandoning his husband duties.'
Petty shady shit. But yeah I was apparently too queer for the 2012 RPC so people had to take direct action in a small community and make a counterblog bc mine was too gay for their tastes.

Marvel Movie Night: Black Panther
Tumblr media
It's been almost a year since I've been doing these regularly, and I do want to finish this project up, so getting back to it....
Looking back at how far we've come, I think we're at the height of superhero films at their best. The really good films can have the crazy action and the ridiculous plots, but still be grounded in very real emotion. And I think Black Panther hits all the right notes.
I don't know if I have anything new or profound to say about this one, but I can agree with what has been said. I do think it's culturally relevant - it's entirely a black creation, handling political themes in a way that doesn't make it seem too preachy or to too trite. I think it gives superhero films a fresh new look and proves that we don't have to rely on the same old boring middle aged white protagonist to carry a film. I think it's an intelligent film that doesn't talk down to its audience and doesn't apologize for being the film it is.
The performances in this one are great -- Chadwick Boseman is so quietly understated and yet powerful as Black Panther. Michael B. Jordan does such a great job being the complex and morally grey Killmonger. But really, the women in this film are just on fire -- Lupita Nyong'o's sly yet earnest Nakia; Danai Gurira's wonderfully sassy Okoye; the youthful sharpness of Letitia Wright's Suri, and of course the sure stated Angela Bassett as Ramonda. Such. Great. Performances.
I also really love the style of this film. It looks good - the film itself is a beautiful piece of art and all the CGI holds up really well. Also, the fact that its very inspired by various African cultures, visually it looks different than what we're often given, and not only is that refreshing, it also compounds the fact that having a diverse film is not a bad thing. Also a shout out to the music -- the score is clearly inspired by traditional African chants and percussion, while the modern music is rap and hip hop. (Being someone who loves looking at how music is used in media - I love all of this.)
I also need to get my obligatory joke out about Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman being the 'Tolkien white guys' in the film.
If I have one note about the film, though, it's that the third act falls into the trap of having to be a superhero film. It's a little too reliant on some same-y feeling, over the top action sequence, and too little on story for the last half hour or so. I feel like so many of these Marvel films are somewhat forced into this cookie-cutter mold that it sometimes does the film a disservice.
Final Verdict: Overall, though, this story cares about the story that's being told. It cares about its characters, and you can tell just how much thought was put into every aspect of its creation. And that is what makes a good film.
Next Up: Thanos is finally here... Avengers Infinity War

       *    💘 — what and/or who do you consider near and dear to you? ✈️ — ever traveled anywhere interesting? 🎮— favorite video game(s)? 🖊— any tattoos? 🍰 — favorite sweet(s)/dessert(s)? 🐶 — any pets? 📕 — favorite book/series? 😗 — what are some of your favorite things to do when you have some time to yourself? 💯 — share three random facts about yourself that your mutuals may not know about you. !!          ›          @manaborn      ,   prompt   [ … ]   accepting
💘 — what and / or who do you consider near and dear to you? obviously , at the top of my list , there's my family , composed of my mother , father and younger sibling .   also high up there is my girlfriend , carmen , who was also one of my first partners on here funnily enough .   these four , alongside my best friend , are the people i consider the closest and dearest to me .   in terms of objects , i'd have to answer books and tea , if only because i love both and they play an instrumental part in my daily life .   i would also consider my job to be something near and dear to me , if only because i'm lucky enough that i get to do something everyday that makes me happy .
✈️ — ever traveled anywhere interesting ? there are two places i consider to be the most interesting .   the first is sidney by the sea , a small town on the island of vancouver in western canada .   sidney by the sea is the country's sole booktown , and i had the privilege to spend an afternoon roaming through all of the various bookstores before watching the sun set in the sea at the nearby beach .   it's a wonderful place , if you can afford to go .   the other interesting place i've traveled to is lebanon .   i might be biased since i'm lebanese on my father's side , but i genuinely think the entire country is gorgeous and worth visiting , and i miss going there , although it's harder to visit now that my grandparents have both passed away .   i also sometimes joke with my family that lebanon is the only place in the world where you can choose to go ski in the morning and go to the beach in the evening .
🎮 — favorite video game(s) ? bloodborne is my favorite game ever , but other games i enjoy include the soulsborne series , identity v , the dishonored series , celeste and the house in fata morgana .   i also want to try splatoon , in spite of being bad at shooters , lol .
🖊 — any tattoos ? unfortunately , no , since i'm scared of needles .   i was toying with the idea of getting the scarlet wing's flower or the red butterfly from mia goodwin's tomboy down the line , but since i'm approaching my thirties , i'm debating on whether or not i should since i am starting to consider myself too old for tattoos .
🍰 — favorite sweet(s)/dessert(s) ? i'm fond of french pastries , mostly st. honoré cakes and religieuses , as well as more traditional lebanese sweets like qatayef and kadaif .   i also like strawberry shortcakes and mochis , as well as most gummies , peach rings especially .
🐶 — any pets ? none unfortunately , although i'd like to have one in the future once my girlfriend and i move in together .   i'd like to have a cat , but my sibling's allergic , so maybe a dog .
📕 — favorite book/series ? there are too many to enumerate , but some of my favorites include paradise rot by jenny hval , my sister the serial killer by oyinkan braithwaite , drive your plow over the bones of the dead by olga tokarczuk , her body and other parts by carmen maria machado , all's well by mona awad and nous , anastasia r. by patrice ordas and patrick cothias  ( which is available in french only )  .   in terms of series , i'm quite fond of the radiant emperor series by shelley parker-chan , the burning kingdom series by tasha suri and the magic of the lost series by c.l. clark .   books i'm looking forward to are silver nitrate by silvia moreno-garcia  ( which will include lebanese-mexican rep !! )  and a study in drowning by ava reid  ( my latest hyperfixation ) .
😗 — what are some of your favorite things to do when you have some time to yourself ? read and drink tea .   i also enjoy listening to music on my phone , although i am lucky enough to own a couple of cds by some of my favorite artists .   walking and exploring the nearby city is also something i enjoy doing by myself , alongside visiting bookstores or the national library .

💯 — share three random facts about yourself that your mutuals may not know about you. 1. my favorite flowers are lilac , hortensia and lavender .   2. i work as a teacher specialized in teaching immigrant kids and teens .   3 . my copy of a river through time  ( the first guinevere jones book by random house australia )   is signed by tamara hope , who played gwen in the show .

Which ocs from mutals would your ocs be friends with?
I was going to make a joke about how I always do this kind of thing in like half an hour, but then I got too caught up and spent three hours doing proper research, so anyway, my OCs:
Venus: This one is easy, since in Mirrored Hearts she grew naturally closer to Este (@moderarato ) and Zane ( @lookingforsomethingcuzimbored ) while we were planning the fic, it just made sense.
Nora: I thought Nora and Alma Greene (@coldshrugs) would be the best of friends since I saw this comic. Alma is iconic. They are quite similar deep down (they have the same ROs as far as I know, that has to mean something), but with enough differences to make their friendship feel new and interesting no matter how long they've known each other.
Inés: Reason #1 why Inés and Nayzak (@ava-du-mortain ) would be bff: they could wear matching outfits. But if anyone needs more reasons, they would support each other while pining for a grumpy vampire, because the best thing about having a crush is talking about it with your friends.
Theo: It would be fun for Theo to meet Ami (@hopeshoodie ) , some sort of younger version of himself less angry with the world. I feel like their friendship would start like cats spending time with you in the same room, keeping the distance at first, but slowly and quietly, they grow closer, not really realising it. Theo is more of a writer than an artist, but would appreciate and encourage Ami's hard work, even if he doesn't really understands at first.
Lamia: Lamia and Suri (@agentnatesewell ) would be such good friends it would make everyone around jealous. Lamia needs another romantic in her life who understands and idealises life as she does, and who is better that someone in love with another version of N Sewell?
Héloïse: @doulyeah and I were talking a while back about the chaotic friendship of Héloïse and Kacen. An endearing and dangerous friendship at the same time. Another friend could be Dinah Greene (@amlovelies), opposites that fit together. Héloïse also has a way of presenting herself as a fact, a reliable and stable person (even though she wouldn't say it herself). Héloïse doens't have time to hesitate, she will see a person and adopt them as a friend.
Vera: Theo (@s-ewell) and her as friends would be so cute I can't even begin to explain it. Vera is used to uncaring people, and although that doesn't bring her down, she need someone to remind her the world is a good place. She would adore and admire him so much...
Thaïs: Thaïs and Sam Everdeen (@sosolenoo) would be an explosive combination. None of them thinks before acting and their sass would get them in trouble more often than not. Thaïs prefers to make her own rules, and I have a feeling Sam would be the same.
Shanar: She needs to forget who she is sometimes, someone that would treat her with respect, but wouldn't be afraid to speak their own mind. Someone to distract her from all her responsabilities for a while and I think Ada (@ariendiel ) would understand that feeling perfectly.
Uxía: Looking at Bliss Hussain (@nickhwiseman ) is like looking into a mirror. They see themselves so much in her, that they love her even more fiercely, since they can't do the same for them.
Byeol: Byeol and Charlie (@veeples ) should be friends so they make the other take a nap to calm down or fight everyone in their path. They are feeling a little too much.

Anonymous Coward asked: does all of your oc are talking place to the same universe? if so what the premise ?
nop! certain groups of them have entirely different settings!
 1. Fighting game: these used to be BNHA ocs that i repurposed. I really like them and their quirks, so to preserve them im creating a small fighting game with a small roster. The main plot is still very loose but as of now it centers about a tournament with a grand prize in cash and each member would like to win to use the money or the title of winner to achieve their individual goals. So far it includes Iro (iridescent haired girl), Gale (the big croc guy) and Suri (slime girl) + some background characters like other ocs that also were originally from bnha and are relevant to these main 3 (of my own and of my friends, hence why background characters)
 2. the sk8erz: It shows the lives of a group of skater friends freshly out of high school and into college, focusing on their everyday life while they discover their place in the world as they transition into adulthood and explore their relationship and awful selves. It includes Ami (the black girl with red locs), Yugo (the guy that looks like every 90s boyband idol) and Yaro (the guy that wears a cap and looks terminally ill).
 3. Monster ocs: Not really anything going on here. It's just an empty setting for my monster ocs. It includes Grecia (gorgon), Beatrice (mummy), Carlos (werewolf), and Levi (vampire). I dont draw them much, except for Grecia on occasions.
 4. Starlight Watch: this one has a name bc i had to come up with something for university. I created the main 2 characters for a university design assignment. Originally they were intergalactic cop partners inspired by 80s sci-fi and cop action shows. I kept the designs, reworked and repurposed them as now royal guards of a clueless Alien Princess (a random design that i kept from when i was in middle school now repurposed and redesign). The story incudes: Teri (green guard alien), Bano (human cyborg), Navari (the grey alien princess) and Lyra Constella (pink pop idol alien)
 5. Clowns: i just have one oc here and it is Kinga (the clown, duh). At first i wanted to make a circus but i knew it was not within my power so i only made Kinga and abandoned the idea. I really like her design, however, so i want to keep it around for when i find a purpose for her.
 6. Magic: here we only have Omen Burroughs (a witch). It just focuses on how skilled but careless he is, abandoning the witch realm to go into the human realm to experience the frivolous, lustful life of a rockstar, even though he really isnt one. Also because he is obsessed with motorbikes and biker culture and is trying to build or at least customize his broom from scratch, but he cant find parts in the witch realm bc no one gives a damn about bikes over there.
 7. Thieves: the main 2 were originally Soul Eater ocs. A friend and I made a weed joke about them and it went downhill from there. Their story deals with immigration, crime and corruption in the fictional american city of Vertwick. The characters so far are the ones in my header here! Nicky and Tobias (the main 2, both latino immigrants of very different upbringing), Lewis (a broke computer science student and hacker), and Diana (a promiscuous corrupt cop).
I might have missed certain settings but i certainly did leave out some characters i dont have nor a backstory nor a setting for yet. Theyre just designs that i made and like to keep around in case i find out where to place them.

New Releases
Happy early book birthday to these exciting YA books coming out on Tuesday, July 5th! What's been on your TBR lately?
Boys I Know by Anna Garcia
A high school senior navigates messy boys and messier relationships in this bitingly funny and much-needed look into the overlap of Asian American identity and teen sexuality.
June Chu is the “just good enough” girl. Good enough to line the shelves with a slew of third-place trophies and steal secret kisses from her AP Bio partner, Rhys. But not good enough to meet literally any of her Taiwanese mother’s unrelenting expectations or to get Rhys to commit to anything beyond a well-timed joke.
While June’s mother insists she follow in her (perfect) sister’s footsteps and get a (full-ride) violin scholarship to Northwestern (to study pre-med), June doesn’t see the point in trying too hard if she’s destined to fall short anyway. Instead, she focuses her efforts on making her relationship with Rhys “official.” But after her methodically-planned, tipsily-executed scheme explodes on the level of a nuclear disaster, she flings herself into a new relationship with a guy who’s not allergic to the word “girlfriend.”
But as the line between sex and love blurs, and pressure to map out her entire future threatens to burst, June will have to decide on whose terms she’s going to live her life—even if it means fraying her relationship with her mother beyond repair.
The Darkening by Sunya Mara
Loyalty and love are at stake in this thrilling and epic YA fantasy debut as seventeen-year-old Vesper finds herself at the center of an impending rebellion when she is forced to infiltrate the prince’s inner circle in order to save her father from prison.
The Charmed List by Julie Abe
After spending most of high school as the quiet girl, Ellie Kobata is ready to take some risks and have a life-changing summer, starting with her Anti-Wallflower List—thirteen items she’s going to check off one by one. She’s looking forward to riding rollercoasters, making her art Instagram public (maybe), and going on an epic road-trip with her best friend Lia.
But when number four on Ellie’s list goes horribly wrong—revenge on Jack Yasuda—she’s certain her summer has gone from charmed to cursed. Instead of a road trip with Lia, Ellie finds herself stuck in a car with Jack driving to a magical convention. But as Ellie and Jack travel down the coast of California, number thirteen on her list—fall in love—may be happening without her realizing it.
In The Charmed List, Julie Abe sweeps readers away to a secret magical world, complete with cupcakes and tea with added sparks of joy, and an enchanted cottage where you can dance under the stars.
What Souls Are Made Of: A Wuthering Heights Remix by Tasha Suri
As the abandoned son of a Lascar—a sailor from India—Heathcliff has spent most of his young life maligned as an “outsider.” Now he’s been flung into an alien life in the Yorkshire moors, where he clings to his birth father’s language even though it makes the children of the house call him an animal, and the maids claim he speaks gibberish.
Catherine is the younger child of the estate’s owner, a daughter with light skin and brown curls and a mother that nobody talks about. Her father is grooming her for a place in proper society, and that’s all that matters. Catherine knows she must mold herself into someone pretty and good and marriageable, even though it might destroy her spirit.
As they occasionally flee into the moors to escape judgment and share the half-remembered language of their unknown kin, Catherine and Heathcliff come to find solace in each other. Deep down in their souls, they can feel they are the same.
But when Catherine’s father dies and the household’s treatment of Heathcliff only grows more cruel, their relationship becomes strained and threatens to unravel. For how can they ever be together, when loving each other—and indeed, loving themselves—is as good as throwing themselves into poverty and death?

All the things Uzui Tengen has done:
1. Push over my wife (Suri)
2. Not help her up even though he was right next to her
3. He punched my son (Ino)
4. He punched my son's brother (Zenny)
5. Made a joke about firing my other son (Tomi) and made fun of him for being antisocial (the image below)
Tumblr media
6. Tried to take Aoi and one of the caterpillars by force
7. He's called the kamaboko squad trash (Tanji, Zenny, and Ino)
8. He even talked down on them
9. He said Tomi was gloomy and that he looked
like he was at a funeral
10. Called my wife weird
Basically, he deserves to be executed. /Hj
I'm gonna answer this in bullet form and with full sentences because if there is one thing I am, it's being a good lawyer for Tengen and i will nOT TOLERATE THIS SLANDER
He didn't push her over, everyone was shocked at what was transpiring and leaned for a better look. Mitsuri just happened to be a bit clumsy and fall.
The same thing can be said for Rengoku, the kindest one out of them all and yet he too let her stay on the ground.
Deserved, he spoke ill about his wives survival status.
Also deserved, he wasn't taking the mission seriously and was being a bit of a creep by being too obsessed with the fact that Tengen has 3 wives.
If that is from fanfiction then that is automatically void.
He did so for the sake of the mission and she was wearing her uniform so of course he would take her as someone who could help him out.
Tengen is a man of flamboyant energy and thinks well of himself (but knows his limits). Compared to him, yes the gang is trash in terms of looks and skill but that is quickly revoked when the district fight happens.
They are his subordinates, that is expected.
Sanemi and obanai think lowly of Tomioka and yet you are able to love them. If we compare their thoughts on Tomioka to that of Tengen, it is safe to say that Tengen is more on the polite side of things.
Sanemi thinks she is weird (and annoying) too. Everyone is weird to one another.
Basically, he doesn't deserve such a cruel fate.

I enjoy this podcast immensely. In the off chance you are looking to find different perspectives about Sonic characters, lore, game design, et all, this might be a nice place to start.
(I confess, I don't always get the humor, but I don't get most humor, so take that admission however you will.)
This episode in particular is fantastic. Suris and Pup, two hosts of the show, start talking about the psychology of various Sonic characters (or, rather, Pup poses the question, Suris answers, Pup makes jokes.)
They don't get to everyone, but they do discuss:
Eggman
Sonic
Shadow
& Knuckles
(Also one of the hosts, Nick from Game Apologist, admitted to being a bit of a shadamy shipper so 💖🖤👌 just saying.)
