SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT

You know Obi-Wan blames himself for what happened with the clones.

Even if he (like the rest of them besides the few that were suspicious about what Fives found out) didn't know. He should have listened to that little voice in his head screaming that something was wrong. But he didn't, and now that little voice whispers to him 'I told you so' about this too.

And seeing that homeless clone? The rush of panic and relief he feels is overwhelming. He sees that there are survivors. But he doesn't know if the clone would remember him. His chipped armor and faded five-oh-first blue paint tells Obi-Wan that they should know each other or at least seen each other. But the clone doesn't say anything, and Obi-Wan leaves credits in his cup and walks away. Obi-Wan doesn't say anything because he feels like there is nothing to say. There's nothing he could do to help the trooper. He hopes someone comes along and helps him. But he doubts it. The clones received no love after everything they were put through.

So he leaves, and the trooper carries on with the entire GAR in his honey brown eyes.

Obi Wan giving money to the clone trooper despite likely still believing the clones betrayed the Jedi (not knowing about the chip) really says a lot about the kind of person he is. Through his eyes you can see that pained hurt he feels when he recognizes the clone but he still takes out whatever money he has and gives it to him.
