Nothing boils my blood more than seeing people talk about Avatar Kyoshi like a cruel sadist who’d just go around murdering whoever disagreed with her. That isn’t what she was like!!! She just did what was necessary to prevent power hungry, greedy, horrible men from taking over the world. She didn’t have patience for men like chin as her entire life had been destroyed by men like this, her loved ones killed by men like this in the name of power. Kyoshi was a kind hearted individual who cared deeply for justice and thus, wasn’t scared to dish it when she knew it was for the best. She wasn’t perfect, and sometimes her punishment was worse than the crime, but what she did is exactly what prevented shit like the 100 year war that came right after her death. Please, read the books, they’re so good.

Posting this while I have the courage cause I'm not good at art but here's Sanura Sei'naka! My favourite OC:)

She's a decendant of Rangi and lived in the firenation before travelling to Kyoshi island in the hopes of learning more about Rangi however she then found out they didn't know all that much about Kyoshi's personal life. Instead of learning even more she teaches all that she does know about Rangi and Kyoshi to Suki who she slowly bonds with and starts to develop a relationship similar to Rangi and Kyoshi's themselves.

How I imagined Kyoshi when reading the novels :p

I do LOVE how she is designed in the game, they definitely got her description to a T! (Unlike Rangi 😀) but I thought it'd be fun to draw her in my style with my own lil headcannons in how I personally imagined her in my head whilst reading the amazing novels by F.C Yee. Eventually I also plan on re-drawing Rangi in my style and with my headcannons (for the third time lol) because It did kinda annoy me they got her hair AND eye colour wrong even though its emphasised in the books she has BRONZE eyes and JET BLACK hair compared to the usual yellow eyes and brown hair of the firenation lmao.
