#the last days
Hello! It’s been a while....
My Personal Life
I wanted to update everyone on my life and the future of TLD comic and my other side comics. For those who don’t know, I took time off from my personal projects to be a first time mom. It’s been hard since my husband often works out of town, and COVID didn’t make things easier either. But, I’m happy to report that the family is happy and healthy. My little boy is 8.5 months. I’m starting to finally feel like I can juggle more in my life. I’m sure that sense of security will come crashing down once little boy reaches another milestone, lol.
The Last Days Comic
I have been working on TLD comic here and there. But, I have to be honest that I don’t have many “here and there” moments. Often I need to focus on my commercial work that brings in income first before any personal work can be done. I’m hoping I can start making enough with my commercial work that my husband can find a job closer to home or him become a stay at home dad. This is all in the works. I can’t give a specific date to when TLD will continue. I can say that I’m trying and I do have half of the comic roughed in. That’s a big step towards getting back into the swing of things.
As ALWAYS I appreciate your support of this comic. It’s a real pleasure to share my story with you and geek out over Inuyasha fandom. :) I hope you enjoy this pencil sketch I did above. I did it as a warm up sketch before I had to do a gallery piece for a show in LA. I’m very pleasure with how it turned out.
I usually do 1 Inuyasha fanart a month (if I have time) and post it over on my Patreon just to say, “Hello” to everyone. I also have some bonus mini comics that are Patreon only too. Patreon is a $1 a month. Your initial pledge will charged to your card, but no other charge will occur until I start up the comic again. This is also where you’ll be the first to know about any updates to TLD comic. And it’s where I’ll first start posting new pages before the public.
Until next time, take care everyone! I’ll stay in touch.

What I have learned from Watching Unus Annus
Now that Unus and Annus are awake and running things, the channel seems, for the first time, truly finite. And finite is terrifying to me. In response, I'm scrambling to get what I can just so I can have a tangible piece of this channel so I don't forget. and I know I'm not the only one. We're grasping at straws, trying to do what we can to just hold on.
But what have I learned over the time I have been watching this channel? Life isn't easy, and it will never go how you want it to. [Enter 2020] Obstacles of all shapes and sizes will be thrown your way and some will be easier to get over than others. But giving up isn't an option. The best thing you can do is adapt. Take what you have and make your own staircase to the top. This channel has also made "finite" less scary. It's teaching me how to let go. Because the clock will keep ticking, and at some point, we will no longer be here to witness it. And as humans, the hardest thing for us to do is let go. To move one. To accept that one way or another, it will end. And once it does, we cannot come back, we can't change anything once our time has come. All there will be is our memory, that will be our legacy. What we can do, at the least, is make the most of everyday. Make everyday unforgettable. Learn how to ride that motorcycle, and try that weird looking food. Do what you can while you can. Because, as hard as it is to accept, nothing is infinite. Remember that you will die, memento mori. So live like you will.
Momento Mori Ut Non Obliviscar (may we never forget)

DON’T SUCCUMB TO EVIL
And he shall speak great words against the most
High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time (Daniel 7:25).
The phrase “wear out” in the verse above is translated from Aramaic into English. It means to afflict, to constantly harass. One of Satan’s strategies in these last days is to foment so much evil in the world that could provoke God’s people to a compromise. He seeks to wear out the saints. This opening verse shows that during the Great Tribulation, the antichrist would wear out the saints. There’ll be so much evil that many will acclimatise to sin. Wickedness will become a normal lifestyle for a whole lot of people.
The Bible gives us an account of a righteous man named Lot,
Abraham’s nephew, who lived in Sodom and whose soul was vexed daily by the wickedness of the people. “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And
delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds)” (2 Peter 2:6-8).
The underlined word, “vexed”, means the same in Greek as the
Aramaic for “wear out” which we read earlier in our theme verse. It
means to harass with evil, afflict, make trouble for, treat until one is used to a certain situation. Lot was vexed with the filthy manner of life of the wicked. This is what Satan would have many do in these final moments of the Church, to adjust to the ways of darkness.
But you must say, “No” and walk in righteousness, in the light of
God, in spite of what’s going on around you. Never succumb to evil;
rather, let your light shine, for you’ve been sanctified by the Spirit,
separated to God for His divine use—holy and undefiled.
I’m in the world, but not of the world. Therefore, I think, talk, and act
differently. I’m sanctified by the Spirit, separated to God for His divine purpose, holy and undefiled. I reign over sin and all its effects— sickness, infirmity, poverty, death, etc. Amen.
2 Corinthians 6:17 - Therefore,“Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
Matthew 5:14-16 - “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Galatians 5:19-21 - The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
