theforgottenages asked: I just got the cutest idea and I needed to share it!!!! Okay so apparently you can get jewelry made of your blood now- and I thought of how cute it would be to give David a peice of jewelry with a "stone" (I believe it's blood mixed with resin) made of your blood so he could "always have a peice of your heart". ❤️ Tell me that grumpy fuck wouldn't know what to do with himself!!! That edgy spook would be utterly destroyed and smitten all at once I just know it. He's got a goth girl deep in his soul that lives and dies for that kinda fluff.

TLB David x GN! Reader pt.2

A/n: I decided to do this again but from David's perspective since the last one I did was in Y/n's perspective.

Warnings: Mentions of blood.

I was in my nest when I heard a voice call out my name, "David!". I could instantly tell that it was my dear Y/n.

I then walked out of my nest and saw Y/n making their way down to where I was now standing. The first thing I noticed about them was their huge smile on their bright and happy face.

I soon started to smell a hint of blood in the cave but it was such a little amount that I couldn't exactly tell where it was coming from. I tried not to react much to it so I wouldn't ruin Y/n's seemingly great mood.

"You seem happy, dear." I say. standing just outside of my nest as I look at Y/n as they make their way over to me.

"I am!... I have something for you!" Y/n says as they then reach their clenched hand out to me and open up, revealing a gold ring and gold colored necklace.

"Jewelry?" I ask somewhat confused since it wasn't any kind of special occasion.

"It's a special kind of jewelry. I had someone make it for you!" Y/n says happily as they wait for me to take it from their open hand.

"A special kind of jewelry, huh? How's it special?" I ask, looking up at Y/n's face.

"The little 'stone' on the ring and necklace aren't actually stones. It's blood and resin mixed together." Y/n explains happily and excitedly.

"Blood? Who would ever want their blood used for some random person's necklace and ring?" I ask a bit confused.

"It's my blood! I wanted to get something special and meaningful for you." Y/n says happily with a big smile on their face.

"You really did that for me?" I ask as I got a warm, fuzzy feeling inside of me.

"I did because I love you! Now you'll always have a piece of my heart!" Y/n says happily.

I look at Y/n with a small smile on my face for a moment. My eyes starting to soften and I felt my heart start to melt. I now knew that Y/n was meant to be mine. They have have captured my heart whole.

"Thank you, Y/n." I say with a bit bigger of a smile and the same softened eyes I had a moment ago as I took the necklace and ring into my own hands.

"You're welcome, David." Y/n says with a smile on their face.

Then Y/n gives me an eager and warm hug as I then hugged them in return with a smile on my face.

TLB's Dating a Bilingual S/o Hc's:

David:

° I believe David to be the type of creature of the night that appreciates you being bilingual. Where it isn’t uncommon, it shows that you hold a certain level of intelligence that he’s all for! You’ll probably be surprised to find that he knows a little bit of your mother tongue. Not a whole lot, but basic phrases, and he picks it up quickly if you teach him a little bit every once in a while.

° “What? Cat got your tongue all of a second, prince/princess? I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve than you realise.”

° He discovers a pleasant feeling when he listens to you speak in your native language: Whether that’s from helping a random stranger on the street with directions or hearing you speak to family on the phone. It doesn’t matter. An invocation of being soothed overtakes him. He could honestly listen to you for hours, but he may not exactly admit it as willingly as others.

° So perhaps he’ll spend a languid evening with you sprawled out on a blanket on top of one of the beach front stores. There’s a bottle of wine by your feet as you read from a book under the convenient nearby streetlight. A moth darts into its bright halo whilst David religiously smokes his tenth cigarette of the hour. It’s not due to stress, but aids him in focusing on the more intricate details of how you pronounce things: Albeit quietly, David doesn’t mind, because his sensitive hearing can pick up the tiniest thing from afar – even in a raging crowd. He’s enamoured, and decides to himself in that moment that he’s more than content.

° Your voice has turned a little hoarse as you close on the last word of the chapter. The hubbub down below is somehow peaceful. David doesn’t even look at you when he casts his words out on powdery smoke, “That was good, kitten.”

° If you’re lucky, you may even catch him reading something to you. Although it will most likely be in English, David is feeling charitable. So pull up to one of the dusty worn out couches in the cave, pop your head on a cushion in his lap and be prepared to be lulled into the most lusciously deep slumber you’ve ever been sent off into. David puts your parents to shame.

° He appreciates this part of you: The ability to share knowledge and language is important. Whether your mother tongue is English or not, it does not matter. David will enjoy this aspect of you.

Dwayne:

° Out of all of his brothers, Dwayne is probably the most respectable besides David. Where he’s cheeky and does want to know all of the swear words, they're not first on his list. He's not outwardly vocal about you speaking in another tongue. So you probably won't notice the way that the corner of his mouth lifts up whenever he catches you walking on the Boardwalk with your sibling tag along, the two of you bickering with words he's not certain of.

° Frankly Dwayne is convinced that more of your personality comes out when you speak in your first language. He gets lost in the way that you talk when you're standing there ordering hotdogs to the vendor of the stand who speaks the other language you do. Cannot help but grin when you turn around to confirm with him what you said was okay.

° "Whatever you said is probably right." Short and to the point, but he savours that little moment with a grin.

° Sometimes you speak a mixture of both languages at once. A translation error in your head or it's because that's what your friends do. It's habitual. It's adorable – unless you're having an argument with Dwayne, which is usually one sided since he's so chill. "Wanna try that again? I only caught the first word." Better to admit the truth than not, am I right?

° Dwayne does pick up phrases here and there. He listens more than anything and tries it out once or twice. He gets good at it too and blows you away with filling in a couple of sentences when you're translating a friend's words for him. You just stare at him dumbfounded and all he can do is breathily laugh.

° He also loves to immerse himself in your culture. He's willing to give almost anything a try. He isn't picky. Especially when it comes to food. He's not going to judge as harshly as someone like Paul may do by accident from cracking jokes. Dwayne wants to learn more about the cultures that you grew up with or went to explore throughout your life. It gives him the chance to understand you better.

° So you best believe that if there's a local shop or market that's still open during the late evening, he's going in there to pick up a few things, especially your favourite snack. Food bridges people together right? He likes some things, and others he doesn't. But he makes sure your favs always magically appear when you need them the most.

Marko:

° Marko is the second most likely to want to learn all of the swear words and rude remarks in your language. He finds it rather cute if you start to get embarrassed about sharing such statements. "Why? It's not like anything you'll say is something I haven't heard before. I've got Paul as my right hand man, remember?" He grins.

"Marko, it will be because it's in another language…" You remind him.

"Fair point!"

° Marko's the type that desires learning the language fully to impress you. That is until he quickly comes to the conclusion that he's out of his depth entirely. None of it makes sense to him, which is an obvious no brainer. Instead he settles for small words and phrases like; "I love you". Just whatever you do, don't let the boys know of this. They'll never let him live it down. Marko can be quite loving when it's just you two.

° Best believe that he's cussing people out who make him mad with the swear words he managed to get out of you. It provokes a humorous note when the lucky individual spits back something in the same language that Marko doesn't know. Cue him turning to you, "What did he say? Is he making fun of me?!"

"Yes Marko, he is."

"Listen here toe rag-,"

° Marko's also another of the boy's to bond over food, especially if it is something that comforts you. Where he's not prepared to try everything twice, he's not going to be an ass about it. Probably starts somewhere simple like a restaurant that he's taken you to. He's lost staring at the menu, adamant he can do this on his own. You sit there looking at him with amusement. "I don't need help!" He snaps, burying his nose into the menu further.

° He needed help.

° Whenever Marko comes to your window just after sundown uninvited, he settles himself into your room. You're already expecting him, his predators prowl unphasing now. He flops onto the bed beside you, belly first, softly nipping your shoulder whilst you flick through magazines. You roll your eyes, knowing he's in search of a snack; thankfully not a human one. When you go, he remains, listening to you softly chattering away to your parents in your mother tongue. The chorus of laughter from you is perfect. He will never admit this to you though.

° Where Marko isn't adverse to you reading to him, he quickly falls asleep before he can appreciate much of your accent and storytelling skills. It's not that it's boring or anything. It does make him dream though! It's so weird being a vampire and having a nap during the night. The things you do to him.

Paul:

° It is no surprise that Paul is the first person who wants to know all of the swear words and rude remarks. I think we all saw this one coming. He gets them out of you one way or another. The sneaky little bat! They become his new obsession for the next two weeks and even the other boys are done with it all. Poor David, Dwayne and Marko.

° On a serious note, Paul may not have the brain capacity to really learn a whole lot of your language, but he has so much enthusiasm for it. That's not to say he's stupid, it's just that he gets so excited. "How do you say this?"

"How do you say that?"

So many questions tumble from his perfect mouth that you're prepared to kiss him to shut him up. Your throat has never been so hoarse from talking so much!

° It's heartwarming when he fumbles over syllables and how to say things in a statement. Adorable when you catch him whispering it to himself when he thinks you're not listening. Even when you catch him out in the act, Paul is shameless. A wide toothy grin spreads across his face and he cracks a joke.

° He is the number one guy out of the group who thinks you sound so hot speaking in your mother tongue. Forget about sounding intelligent and mature! Paul's found another way to fall in love with you deeper and he's swooning. Practically sighs and short circuits, especially when you're angry. You could be in a full blown argument with him, screaming on both ends and you yell out something in your mother tongue because you're just so infuriated. He stops, his face clouded with a look you know all too well and a part of you wants to sock him right now.

° "I have no idea what you just said, but hubba hubba! Lay it on me again, baby! I gotta hear it a second time." I mean, he's practically drooling!

° You've never walked away from him so goddamn fast. You can't get rid of him. He's attached. A full on package you both love and hate right now.

° Paul is good natured and likes to brag about how amazing you are. It can be a bit embarrassing, but he truly means the best. "Yo man! Did I mention yn totally schooled this guy the other day-,"

"Yeah, four hundred times, Paul. Now can I go back to my meal?" David asks, his face dripping with rivers of blood, his victim still in his arms.

"Man, she totally told him where to go! It was sooo cool-," Paul gushes as if he hasn't heard a single thing, his victim trying to crawl away.

"Dude, so not cool! We're tryna hunt here-," Marko groans.

The Lost Boy's x Shy Reader Hc's:

David:

° For some reason he loves to tease you whenever you get all shy, because you’re just too adorable. He loves getting a reaction out of you so he may come across as a sarcastic menace at times. However, it’s all in good fun.

° Anybody else who makes fun of your shyness gets flawlessly roasted to filth by this confident snarky vampire. He doesn’t spare any feelings.

° He loves it when you begin to grow more comfortable in his presence, because, “Was there really any need to be shy, kitten? I don’t bite.” Lmaoo but he definitely does!

° Groups and big crowds may not be your thing, which David doesn’t mind. Sure he might tease you but he gets it; people suck anyway. He’s not much of a people person himself, if he’s being honest.

° If the other boys are being too wild for you David tells them to knock it off and they do. One leather finger or smooth bleached eyebrow raised ensures they keep their traps shut.

° David is surely the one that helps you get out of your comfort zone slowly and subtly. He’s persuasive, but he’s not exactly Paul. This entails that he won’t hold your hand and parade around the town with you. He’s more inclined to go, “What’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to do (within reason) and never have?”

° Thus expect to do said thing with David - even if it is a little lame. David won’t judge! He’s gonna ease you into the scene and his comfort comes in more subtle fashions, like a hand on the small of your back, his tickling breath in your ear and so on.

° This Prince of Darkness™ is all about making you feel as comfortable as he possibly can. He’s extremely fond of you (maybe even a little soft), which covers all aspects of your being. If he were to reject your shyness, that wouldn’t be very David of him, now would it?

Dwayne:

° Honestly, Dwayne is the most patient of the four and gets the whole quiet thing you’ve got going on. He’s like your rock, bridging you between his rowdy/obnoxious brothers, and your quiet safe space.

° He takes on a natural role of being a protector and checking in on you when you seem to become more quiet than usual. Dwayne gives you the space that you need whilst also maintaining that you don’t isolate yourself too often. He’s a balance. Also, his protectiveness comes in the shape of him understanding you can hold your own completely fine, but he’s there to ward off those less understanding or willing to take advantage of you.

° Not going to lie, he’s probably the most confident out of you both so has no problem ordering food, movie tickets/snacks, etc. He’s just the kindest and sweetest about it. He makes you feel empowered, accepting you for who you are, because Dwayne is a sweet boii!

° Dwayne’s quiet, not shy, which is a huge difference. So be prepared for him to grow hyper and excitable once he’s comfortable around you. You’ll think he’s got Mexican Jumping Beans in his pants or something sometimes lmaoo! He does expect the same from you too, because he understands that someone who’s shy doesn’t necessarily negate them from having a great sense of humor, passions, personality and so on. Dwayne welcomes any weirdness that you bring to the table, because that makes you, you!

° Never apologise for your shyness, because Dwayne finds it incredibly adorable. It doesn’t bug him at all and it would bum him out if you weren’t confident in yourself.

° He pulls you out of your comfort zone along with him, making you feel safe when engaging in new things. Dwayne never forces anything upon you, instead letting you explore things naturally.

° He grins all big and teases you a little when you get all shy. He’s a little bit sadistic, so a little embarrassment from you won’t hurt.

° He repays you in kisses and soft nips on your shoulder, with apologies whispered onto your skin. It’s not sultry, but he’s attempting to hide the humour in his tone.

Marko:

° Around others Marko doesn’t know - and people that he doesn’t like -, he isn’t his complete self. So in some ways, he relates to your shyness too. That is until Dwayne explains to him that other factors may come into play that go beyond withdrawing or distrust.

° Oh boy does Marko tease you because he loves how embarrassed you get. But no one else can tease you because he takes their motivations as bad ones. Marko is the most sadistic out of the boys, next to David of course, so sometimes he can be a bit heavy, but his intentions weren’t to hurt you. He just likes getting under your skin a little is all.

° He’s incredibly protective of you and likes to slowly introduce you to new things - especially when Paul’s involved, as Twisted Sister may be inclined to get a bit too wild.

° He once started a fight with a Surf Nazi for ramming into you and when you didn’t have the courage to say anything, Marko did.

° “Hey asshat!” Is all Marko said before fists were flying! It’s safe to say that Surf Nazi became dinner for him in the late hours of the night when David was distracting you in the Cave.

° Animals have a healing effect, so when things are overwhelming in the sensory department, Marko will take you to see his pigeons and other animals he’s befriended. A pigeon will just perch itself on your knee, it’s little eyes blinking several times before Marko says, “I think Tubro likes you, babes!”

° Turbo definitely pecks him whenever Marko touches you, which makes him complain in a disgruntled fashion that his pet bird is a “traitor”. It certainly makes you laugh, which makes Marko grin beautifully.

Paul:

° Paul is the least understanding about your shyness, but he’s good natured about it. He tries to understand, yet finds it challenging. It’s just that Paul is insanely extroverted so he thinks for a moment that you may be hiding your personality from him as if you don’t like him or aren’t comfortable in his presence. Both theories dishearten him quite a bit until Dwayne becomes your saving grace: and once Paul gets that you’re just shy, he thus takes things less personally. (He’s a bit of a drama queen lmaoo.)

° All bets are off now, and he teases you a ton! It’s almost relentless at points in time. He finds your teasing cutesie and goes out of his way to make you shy. He loves that you grow comfortable enough to engage in harmless, playful banter with him. Be warned that his teasing can go too far, but he’ll always apologise sincerely with that playful grin you’ve grown to love. You can’t resist his charms!

° Paul is the best to venture out of your comfort zone as he acts like a big clown in order to make you laugh and feel at ease. He helps you have fun doing whatever it is that you’re doing!

° “This’s a first for me too, babes. No harm in winging it, right?” Although he has got a vibrant smile on his countenance, his words are joyfully comforting. Paul makes you feel exhilarated and safe at the same time.

° He doesn’t ever make you feel bad for being shy, encouraging you instead to just be yourself. You help even him out, but can also keep up with Paul’s unpredictable hyperness. You gotta be a bit wild and non-judgemental to be with him.

° Expect Paul to get bored whilst doing the same things too many times in a row, especially if they’re quieter activities. Balancing things out is best for both of you.

° He’s also pretty clingy, which entails that he doesn’t understand the concept of personal space all too well. So if you’re independent to a high degree, Paul may become mopey and press boundaries, because he craves your company and touch. He likes having you around is all. He’s a social creature.

° Paul will also ask questions that may be a bit insensitive, because he’s just a curious guy! He wants to know why you keep doing x,y and z.
