I rewatched the episode where Jon confronts NotSasha in the tunnels and was genuinally shocked when I felt no deep emotional reaction from Jon's panic attack in the tunnels. I did find it sad of course. But compared to the visceral knife twisting emotional pain this scene caused me the first time I saw it, it was mid.

And I couldn't figure out why. Nothing changed. The acting is still great, it is well writen, I didn't change my opion on it... But than I realized, at that point I had finished the show, I had seem Jon in far worse situations, I had listened to way more panic attacks, and break downs and apologies that are true but fix nothing, I was well familiarized with Jon's guilty complex and awfull mental state.

But that scene is the first time. His mental health was deteriorating the whole season and even before that he had crisis, he was in pain, but that was the first time we actually see Jonathan fully losing it. It's the first time his guilty complex shinnes fully through, is literally the culmination of finding his paranoia concerning but funny at first but than being umnable to find it annything but just really sad. He has other worse moments, but he had not fully broke before. And so in the first time listening, is a shock. And it hurts. You just discovered that there's no way of getting Sasha back and you can feel his pain and you are still new to it.

And that was how I realized that I'll never have the experience of listening to TMA for the first time.

Started Magnus Archives season 2, and I'm still not used to the supplementals at the end. I'm so used to going to the next episode when I hear that ending click, but sometimes I just pick it up because I think the episode is done and stare at it until the supplemental ends. Jon is really fucking paranoid, I half expected him to just die when he went deeper into the tunnels

Finished The Magnus Archives season 2 now! Safe to say its my new favourite thing already. God the ending was absolutely wild. I totally called Elias being a bastard! My absolute favourite part of the podcast so far is the Voiceacting, it’s incredible! Im actually already on episode 85 now and I just forgot to make this post. I’ll keep updated though whenever I finish another season.

Finished Season 2 of the Magnus Archives. Not!Sasha was extremely creepy in every single appearance (she rang just a bit off in every single one and that was stunning) and the statements are getting creepier and creepier. Love how it’s not so much worms but spiders now and every statement about the Not!Them gets worse and worse.

Also Jon gets called paranoid a lot from what I see but Elias did kill Gertrude and one of his assistants was out to get him. Hate to be that person, but is it really paranoia when you’re right and they are actually out to get you? I mean Tim has a perfect right to be upset and put off by Jon following him and the Magnus Institute taking over his life, but Jon was actually right on the money.

Still, maybe destroying the table wasn’t the smartest thing in the world.

so do you know that one episode “upon the stair” it’s about the little man who wasn’t there and then this person yells at it and becomes the person that wasn’t there. Their parents come over and it’s a who cryptic thing. Well I’m the episode they reside a poem written by Roy Davenport in or around the 1890s. (don’t quote me on this there is a strong possibility I’m wrong, I just looked at the first thing on google) Around the 1940s the poem was made into a song!

It’s by Glen Miller and his orchestra and it’s a really good song! Perfect for getting in the Halloween mood
