I started watching charlie countryman (35 minutes in, nigel just made a first appearance) and this movie is UNHINGED. guy's mom dies so he moves to bucharest (he does not speak romanian and has not attempted to learn it) and on the flight he meets a guy who DIES ON HIS SHOULDER and then he delivers a hat to the man's daughter and they car chase after the ambulance carrying his body??? also the car wouldn't start so a bunch of children randomly appear to help it start????? and nigel. well he still talks like every other mads mikkelsen character but also swears. wonderful

Nigel gets into boxing. It kinda helps with his anger management.

At the start, he tells Adam not to come since it's violent and loud and for a while, he doesn't. But eventually, Adam gets curious and wants to be there to support Nigel. He has practiced, going to see him train and watch videos online and eventually he thinks that he just might be able to go to Nigels upcoming event.

At first, it isn't great. It went better than Nigel and Darko had expected but...yeah. Not the best. But that doesn't stop Adam from wanting to go again.

So he does. He goes again and again and again. Always there to kiss him better and gently stick a colourful band aid on with little cartoon characters on them. Eventually, it goes a little something like this:

Adam, in the front row as always with Darko close, watches intensely with a little bit of a confidence boost, "...Go Nigel!...KNOCK HIS FUCKING LIGHTS OUT BABE! FUCK THE FUCKER UP!!" Adam exclaims with a smile and a fist in the air. The thrill of it finally getting the best of him.

Nigel and Darko are stunned for a moment and distracted enough for Nigel to get hit pretty bad. It shocks Adam and he starts to panic when the initial shock of the blow fades. But Nigel, the champ that he is, gets up and wins the fight for Adam.

And that's how it is every time there is a fight now. Adam always there to shout encouragement with an embellishment of profanity and his little box of band aids.
