Shoutout to nb
-Considering canonical descriptions & player headcanons, he was most likely between 15 and 20 years old when he died (I personally hc him as being around 16 ish at the time but that’s not the point)
-He has achieved feats that are typically done by people who are at least twice his age
-The only canonical visual depiction of him portrays him as looking like a 12 year old or smth
Truly one of the historical genshin figures ever

Daydream in a Nightmare
Authors note: I read a soulmate au where with dream sharing. Everytime you fall asleep you and your SM would meet in a world that would reflect your consciousness and who you were. So down below are the boys and what I think the places their dreams would depict.
Mondstadt
Diluc: The cathedral. His mom, back when she was alive, used to play during service and afterwards Diluc ran over greeting her with the biggest smile, asking her to play him one more song. She never failed to. Maybe that's why there's always a gentle melody playing whenever you see him as he rests his fingers over the same white tiles, simply trying to remember how to play.
Kaeya: The Dawn Winery. Or at least parts of it. Behind closed doors there's the scent of grass, of dirt, and the faintest smell of ash. He says it's simply the vineyard that in the real world would be right outside, but he knows well as he pulls your hand from the doorknob that it's ruins of a fallen nation haunting him right on the other side.
Albedo: Glass walls. A maze of mirrors and reflections. If you ever have stopped to bother to count between Albedo’s musings as he shares with you the secrets of the world, you'd notice that for some reason he always has more reflections in the walls around you than of your own figure. Like there's more of him than there is of you.
Venti: Old Mondstadt. Back before the revolution, back when there were people in the streets wishing their God weren't so unjust, but in his dreams that wall of spiraling wind is never there. A warped perception of a life he wished to have lived as he sits in your lap not as Venti the bard, but a wind sprite trying to bury into your clothes for warmth. Just don't call him pipsqueek or he'll try and bite your fingers. Playfully. You think.
Liyue
Zhongli: A place that no longer exists, one torn away by this world during the archon war. It's unlike him not to comment on a place, a trinket, an item, as you pick something up and fiddle with it, but this place he never goes into full detail on. However, he will tell you all about the artisanship of the table you two are sharing tea over.
Baizhu: His home back in Chenyu Vale, back before the illness hit his village, back before his parents passed away. Just a modest home that shows signs of being truly well lived in and loved. Mindlessly while you two talk he'll be cleaning the place, just the way he always does at the pharmacy. Though it does help give him something to fill the silence. It turns out he's a lot more used to Changsheng chiming in with comments than he thought. He just hopes you two get along when the time to meet in person finally comes about.
Ga ming: A festival. There's water kicking up at everyone's feet, up to everyones ankles as people with their face covered in all manner of masks walk you both by. Ga ming would pull you along from booth to booth, trying his best to win prizes despite the fact you both know they'll be gone by the time you wake.
Xiao: A Chinese pavilion in the sky. You walk among the clouds as you follow the path of the street, looking over the accents that seem somehow both rich in color and dull, muddied all at the same time. Something you've noticed from his dreams compared to yours, his always have a lingering black fog creeping in at the corner of your eyes. It makes you feel like someone else is in this world with you, like there's eyes waiting to do more than just watch.
Inazuma
Kazooha: A meadow. The wind passes you both by, stirring up pages of books you two sit reading in silence. You can't help but wonder if these are all books he's read before, especially the ones that wax poetry or something else. His thoughts, perhaps? Maybe Kazuha's very own writings? But that matters little as his head is resting on your shoulder as you try to catch words between the fluttering sheets of paper.
Itto: A kabuki play. It always ends up in you two hiding away in the back room where the performers would get ready before getting back out on stage for the next act. You would see the brightest of colors, richest of fabrics, and practiced movements so fine tuned that you can't understand why Itto is so focused on taking the makeup on the vanity in the back simply so he can paint your face with red marks just like his. To each their own you suppose, and who are you to complain when it means drawing hearts on his arm when Itto isn't paying attention?
Gorou: A tea house. It's a small place, simple, but certainly not lacking charm as Gorou pours you a cup. At first the fact you could actually taste the rich herbs on your tongue in this dreamscape threw you off, but now it's just another part of this odd reality. But saying that, the first time you spat out the drink he offered as soon as the bitter taste hit you. Apparently he never expected you to not already be used to green tea. The poor fella was apologizing for the rest of the night, ears laid flat on his head and tail tucked between his legs. It's okay though, you made it even by trying to give him dog treats. It was you having to beg for forgiveness then.
Thoma: It was different this time. No glowing blue flowers and a forest that you two would stroll through mindlessly while chatting for hours. No, this time Thoma was sitting on a wooden platform below a giant stone statue. Intriguing, yes, but mattered little compared to the rope burns around his wrist. He tried to tell you not to worry about it. That it was an accident. But that mattered little as your lips pressed to the red, irritated skin and he gave you a strained smile. You knew better than to ask about it more from there.
Ayato: It's ever changing. It's like he is constantly thinking of something whenever He falls asleep and it reflects in his dreams. Once it was a Japanese styled room the next it was some room in Fontaine's architecture. But it's always a bedroom. A place of relaxation as Ayato buries his head in your lap like it was a pillow. He'll whine about being overworked until you're tempted to pull on his hair just to make the man shut up for once, but last time you did that it led to the bed being used for a lot more than just rest. For now just pat his head and let him vent, the man needs it.
Sumeru
Kaveh: A sketch brought to life from his mothers blueprints. One he saw his mother sketching back when Kaveh was a boy and she would let him sit on her lap, let him comment on the drawings. She would always find some way to incorporate his addictions into the sketch. Nowadays he knows the building that was actually constructed in the end to be simpler, duller than the one his mother wanted, but in his dreams with you it stands tall and proud.
Al Haitham: An attic. It's dusty and it clearly had a hole in the roof that was covered over by some wooden planks and nails. A patch work job that needs to be fixed but if you ever take the time to bother with it while Al Haitham sits in an old rocking chair covered by a quilt reading the night away it will only be there the next dream cycle. It pisses you off. He pisses you off. All nonchalance and an apathetic look even as you plop yourself in his lap and take that book away. And what pisses you off even more? How he dares to call you needy as he holds you close. It's best to ignore the fact he started reading over your shoulder.
Tighnari: Pardis Dhyai. He'll sit on the walkway watching you kick the water of the ponds around, paying no mind to when you splash at him. Not anymore at least. He's learned quickly if he makes a snarky comment you'll give one back and it'll go on and on until somehow it ends in him getting dragged into the pond with you. Both dripping algae filled water as he wondered what gods made this numbskull his mate.
Cyno: Lambad's Tavern. Everytime he would come back from treks in the desert he would go there, get a drink, and play a round of cards with whoever was willing. It was a pattern. Work, work, rest, and more work. But now he didn't have to constantly be on work mode as he sat with you in the old booth shuffling cards as he tried to explain to you how TCG works. So far everytime you lose you've thrown those elemental dice and him, and with a smile he lets them hit him in the head despite being fully able to dodge them. His soulmate is such a sore loser.
Wanderer: Shakkei Pavilion. He hates it. Hates that this is the place his unconscious has chosen to sink onto so stubbornly. His wooden fingers would slide over the paintings depicting Scaramouche’s past that has now been severed from him in everyone's eyes but Nahida and the Traveler. If you knew, would you still hold his hand? Would you still trace the details of his joints and comment that you find his pretty face such a stark contrast to his sharp words? He's afraid to find out, the idea that you might be his fourth betrayal always lingering in the back of his mind.
Fontaine
Neuvillette: Under the water where the currents would carry stray bits of seaweed and fish swimming past. The first time you shared a dream with him here he had to calm you down as instinctively you held your breath, taking your hands in his and assuring you if he can talk like this, you can suck in air just as well. It took some time getting used to, but now he watches as you grab starfish off the ocean floor and bring them over to him like a prize to be presented. This is what humans must be like Neuvillette tells himself as you braid them into his hair.
Worcestershire sauce: A home. A nice one at that. Big, had decent furnishings, pictures of kids hung up on the wall. If you listened closely enough you could even hear children playing outside from the cracked open windows that showed the brightest sky outside. Wriothesly would walk behind you as you would watch the grass blowing in the wind, not saying a word as he rested his chin on top of your head. He never thought he'd be back here again. The very place made him feel sick to his stomach, but with you? It was bearable. Even as you tried to grab his handcuffs from him.
Snezhnaya
Childe: His childhood home. Back before the renovations he bought for the place with his money as a harbinger, back before the redecorating of rooms to fit more children, and back to what the house was like when he was just a boy yet to fall into the abyss. Back when everything was simpler. He would pick up toys that have gone missing, never to be seen again and stare in wonder how it all is exactly how he remembers it. It makes it so much easier to be Ajax with you, rather than Tartaglia.
Dottore: The hospital he was working in when trying to help Eleazar patients. For the life of him does he hate it, being back in the desert always having to tip his shoes out of sand that never seems to fully clear off. It doesn't help you try and pour sand down his shirt, but in a way he supposes it's better you two stay out here under that blistering sun than you going inside to be met with the smell of death. No, you don't need to know about that side of him just yet.
Pantalone: His office. It always makes it hard to tell at first if he's awake, not when the same scene greets him either way. You always joke about him being married to his work and you're the mistress in this relationship. At this point he counts on the comment as soon as his eyes flutter open and he's greeted with the sight of you sitting on the desk he's been using as a pillow. Still, he can never help the genuine smile at seeing you once again.
Captain: A flower field. The snowdrops peek out from under the fluffy blanket of white powder, crunching under every step he takes. Even in his dreams the cold of Snezhnaya is ever present, ever biting. It only makes sense you are shivering behind him even as he lets you steal his cloak that is more of a blanket on you than anything. This field, he knows it well, knows that what waters these flowers is more blood than anything else, but that matters little as he wraps his arms around you. Maybe he can find a way to dream you a proper jacket.
Pierro: A grand hall. It reminds you of the way ballrooms are described in romance stories as the couple depicted would dance the night away. Columns so high you have to tilt your head back just to see where they meet the ceiling covered in paintings you've never seen before. That is until Pierro steps into your view. He always offered his hand to you before you could ask, and as your fingers interlocked he would tell you about them. Always ready to answer your questions. It meant someone was curious about a part of his long lost nation. So, of course, he was always happy to share.
Scaramouche: A never ending fire. It's a small shack, engulfed by flames that never seem to dwindle or burn out the wood it feeds on. Like this place was stuck in time in his mind. He doesn't talk to you, not any more than a sharp shut up. The only time that glare he showed you disappeared is when you pulled your hand back from the curious fire with a hiss, not expecting it to actually hurt in this fake reality. For a moment you could have sworn he took a step towards you, but he never came any closer than that as he hissed at you to be careful. Dumb mortals should at least know not to burn themselves.

Who's ready for my Master Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss Crepus Theory!!
I originally posted this over at Hoyolab and people there seemed to really like my favorite joke theory that Crepus just tries to gaslight the whole of Mondstadt right after obtaining Kaeya
Majority of this will be the same but with little tweaks for the wonderful tumblr audience
This joke stems from Kaeya's introduction:
Tumblr media
and the use of the word "rumored"
Cause it's not like it said beyond Teyvat or the seven nations just Mondstadt
And I mean like c'mon how many families are living off the grid in Mondstadt
(Actually... Don't answer that I forgot Glory's boyfriend is just
Out there in the bush with Razor...)
Initially I had the idea of Crepus walking around the markets one day carrying Kaeya with Diluc beside him running into Varka who asks:
"Who's the boy?"
"You mean my son?"
"Not Diluc the boy you're carrying"
"I have two sons? You know this??"
But then the Caribert quest came out mentioning Kaeya ran away from home near immediately and was dragged home by Crepus just as fast and it became even funnier
Cause imagine you're by the docks one day and richest man in town gets off the boat with no cargo but instead a tiny child you may not have seen before that Crepus seems to be very cross with at the moment and threatening to turn him into a leash kid if he runs off again
In a small town that loves gossip do you know how fast that information is spreading? Cause I do and Varka's knocking on Crepus's door 30 minutes later like:
"Is this what we're doing? We're just taking kids now?"
Both paths lead to Varka asking where Kaeya comes from and getting hit with a
"I think you're a bit too old to still be confused about the birds and the bees Varka"
Varka getting frustrated to the point he just starts demanding Kaeya tell him what's up
Tumblr media
Love to see him following in his fathers footsteps of stressing Varka the fuck out
And upon hearing how his birth father left for juice and didn't return Varka went
"Good! That was ALL I needed to know!!"
Follow ups on if his father intended to abandon him or got lost in the storm and needed a search party?
Don't care!! You weren't kidnapped!!
Welcome to the knights! 🤝
Which bringing it back to it only being a rumor
In a town of alcoholics, who's gonna call out the one guy with the winery?
Here's some add ons that got sparked from the comment section 😘
Bonus panels would have included Varka showing up with Rosaria one day mimicking Crepus about "wHaT you ForGot I haD a Kid" sparking a trend within the community of just adopting random children to the point posters are made saying "In Barbatos name: See a child Take a child"
Alice seeing it and pulling a "when in rome" tucking both Albedo and Diluc(who is yelling he is an adult) under her arms and telling Klee if she ever sees someone in need of a mom let her know she'll send over the paperwork right away
And then the last bonus: Venti wakes up, walks in through the gate while playing a tune, and stops when he sees the poster, not sure if he needs to start yet another revolution, or if this one is fine actually
I imagine the posters had to be taken down because visitors were losing their kids left and right and the solution of parents pinning a note saying "not dead & still want custody" to their kids shirt didn't catch on but the saying still lives strong in the hearts of Mondstadt's citizens I mean look Bennett and his 27 dads Mondstadt may have a lot of orphans but the demand is even higher
Comment on original post:
"I have a headcanon where Kaeya fooled first Crepus, then the rest of Mondstadt but.this is too funny!! I want to see this happening!"
Which prompted one of my new favorite lines at the end:
"Wait by fool Crepus first do you mean like Crepus finding him out in the storm bringing him inside to ask him where he lives and Kaeya's just
"? I live here? You adopted me? Are you feeling okay?"
Cause I'm absolutely cry laughing over this that's so good but that also means when Kaeya runs away Crepus is just
"hey no no l'm not misplacing you a second time come home" "

Stay with me, Sway with me ♡  (SAGAU) Note: This song, I love this so much. This is a request by @mehhiah, sorry it took me so long to tackle this one. Also please, if you have requests put it in the ask box so I can easily see it (also priv messages scares me sorry). Anyway, I’m absolutely involved with this song, I hope you guys enjoy it! LASTLY, MY REQUESTS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. Warnings: Semi-ooc (?), Prince Kaeya theory (I really love that one so I added it), bullet type, semi-yandere-ish [Masterlist 1] , [Masterlist 2]
Tumblr media
Ever since the traveler breaks the wall that separates their lives from the dark reality about them being trapped in a game, music together with other factors has been a part of everyone’s lives. It’s not uncommon for foreign sounding music to be played everywhere, even in churches. Traveler songs being played together with new ones, old ones getting mixed up and rewritten to fit the new ones. While aware, sometimes you just forget that they are indeed alive and can interact with you.
You held the broom in your hands, pressing it close to your chest imagining a microphone, the ones that you can see at concerts and live bars. You put on your headphones, eyes fixated on the task of cleaning your room before the holiday ends. “When Marimba rhythm starts to play…”
Diluc pretends like he’s not paying attention to the song that you are currently singing. It’s not the same as the songs that he is used to hearing both from the locals and from the Bard god. It has a sensual tone on it and it bears an air of refinery that reminds him of the fallen aristocrats Mondstadts used to have. He doesn’t care about crowns and wealth but being named as an uncrowned king, he can’t help but imagine the two of us dancing in such a song. In, in his arms at the after hours of the tavern to the early hours of dawn. Maybe he’ll steal a kiss or two, that if you let him to.
Kaeya was having a late night drink when he heard the song that you are singing. It reminds him of that time he and Rosaria got so drunk they decided to climb Albedo’s laboratory but ended up watching Eula dance in the frozen waters (she chased them afterwards and chased them at work). Nobles sure love their fancy dances and he was not safe from Crepus’s dancing lessons as well. He can imagine the two of you dancing in the empty, semi-dim ballroom. Just the two of you, with the rich robes on your body and crown on his head. If he can’t run from his fate, he might just go embrace it if it means embracing you as his own.
Venti writes a song while he listens to you sing. He is so used to the songs of praise or song of tales but a song that tells about desire is something that is new to his ear. Serenades to exist in Teyvat but they don’t go as far as to tell the most intimate desires. They only go on the surface and barely scratch the realm of what love is supposed to feel. Tomorrow comes the musical revolution and for sure everyone who hears the song of the night will make something of the same liking. He hopes that before you descend, he will be able to write the best song that describes his whole heart.
Ayato finds himself a little flustered by the song. Inazuma just opened again a long time ago and the only references that he has on such subjects are those written by the locals and tales of his workers. It is safe to say that Inazuma is still in the age of conservatism even though it is now slowly advancing to be able to walk at the same pace as the other nations. He can’t help but stand up and away from his work, thinking about the lyrics of the song over and over. Bards sing about their feelings and poets make poems about the things that entices their feelings, does it mean you want someone to hold you close and bend you on the dancefloor? If so, he wants to be the one to do it.
Alhaitham was taking notes. Dances are not uncommon in Sumeru but it is also not something practiced freely until the traitorous sages fell from their thrones. Dances and arts in general are still in their toddler days and he is glad that they get references from other nations. He notes the song being sensual, a type of song that only sang on weddings or intimate dates. The type of dance that he wants to share with you. To pull you by the hand and cradle your head possessively while he glare at everyone who wants to get close. It’s not like he’s gonna let someone get close to you. Not the traveler, not the sages, and definitely not Kaveh. That or, maybe he’ll let Kaveh join in

I absolutely HATE how in some fics, people portray the Nameless Bard as someone passive, submissive little boy and a “sweet uwu baby boy who can’t stand up for himself”. Like. Sir????? Are we talking about the same character?
No, he would not back himself away from turning down someone’s request because he’s too timid to say “no”. No, he would not let people’s demands walk all over him. No, he would not act like he has not been taught the basic principles of setting boundaries between himself and others.
Like be for real, man’s lore STATES that he straight up came to CHALLENGE GOD, started an undoubtedly huge rebellion AGAINST HIS OWN RULER, has formed a lot of people to rebel by his side and not to mention it should take MONTHS, and if not, YEARS to form a plan so revolutionary and a rebellion so tightly-knit and strong to take down a god.
Because for some reason these people (whom I’d rather not specify,) clearly write him like they have not read his lore. If you’d seriously tried to understand him and put yourself in his shoes, we should be taking consideration to what he must’ve gone through to form a revolution this big, and how the hell he kept it secret from his ruler so discreetly.
Imagine the amount of doubt he went through when trying to convince people to aid in his cause.
Imagine the amount of remarks and praises he receive from different kinds of people with different opinions on the matter.
Imagine how many times he’s heard that he should not do it,
Imagine how many times he heard that he will be punished by Decarabian,
Imagine how many times he was told by different people that his plan will not work or it would eventually fail,
Imagine how many offended, scornful, and disgusted looks he received from loyalists.
Imagine the amount of challenge this put him through.
Imagine how many looks he received from people from all different kinds of emotions. Fear, suspicion, apprehension, disgust, anger, and uncertainty.
So basing from the story, do you think this stopped him from reaching his goal? No.
He dedicated himself to reforming the once barren world of Old Mondstadt just to see his beloved sky, and the birds would finally soar. He completed something so big with immense mental fortitude that we did not witness in-person because he is a character who died BEFORE the events of the game, and has many IMPLIED, but OFF-SCREEN details hat weren’t even explicitly mentioned about him.
Old Mondstadt’s story cutscene is a story that forces you to use your perception and details to look deep enough into the history in order to fully understand it. Just using your visual perception isn’t enough. It isn’t “oh there’s a ruined city and some guy died 🤷‍♀️” ITS NOT.
Back on topic, a single accomplishment so big and took so much time like freeing a nation and its residents from its sick, delusional ruler whilst fighting for his own dreams of seeing the sky beyond is nothing compared from simply standing up for himself when people would back him down. In case you’re blind, he isn’t who he is without a reason.
I rest my case.
Other people I want to call just because: @gierosajie @cinnabell2 @lanternlightss

i’ve seen other people point out that decarabian Might not be dead
to my knowledge, venti’s character stories never explicitly say he died, only that he “fell” and was defeated and such
i saw a post pointing out that the seal on the tower in old mondstadt is similar to the design from venti’s elemental skill, and paimon’s dialogue when you fall down there is unique
we’ve seen before that when a god dies, especially violently, there are huge effects to the surroundings (havria of course coming to mind). however, nothing like this was mentioned that i know of when the revolution won against decarabian
so if decarabian is still alive and sealed away in old mondstadt, the question is, will this actually be relevant at any point or is it just an interesting detail

Ok last. Ask before I like pass out for the night but what are your thoughts on how Mondstadt culture affects Kaeya's self perception bc I think about it a lot
ooooh, good one, good one.
well, I'd think it's very conflicting and all. Because, on the one hand, most people in mondstadt don't seem to hate Khaeri'ah and all that, they seem to just... Idk, have forgotten about it? not care?
The king of khaeri'ah's also mentioned positively by Jean, though it seems like a farytale more than anything. So i don't think he'd have experienced racism at the hands of the people, had he told people, nor would he have heard people insult his homeland in front of him, which can be even more painful than straight up racism.
So there's that.
But also... They really really like barbatos. And while we have no idea how complicit he was with the fall of it, Kaeya would know and that could skew things two completely different ways. I like to think Barbatos respects Khaeri'ah and doesn't blame them for going against celestia, a place he doesn't even seem to like.
As an archon, he's probably the safest to talk to if you're Khaeri'ahn (excluding the tsaritsa who's on one side of the conflict and so it could be dangerous for Kaeya's faction specifically, and Nahida, who wasn't even alive then). He's also the archon of freedom and revolution and Khaenri'ahns are fundamentally revolutionaries.
But, on the other hand, the church of Barbatos seems to be much more "conservative" than Barbatos himself and that could bother Kaeya deeply. Because the church believes in sin and Khaenri'ah are fundamentally seen as sinners and punished for no reason, which would create a lot of guiilt.
Also, he's a young child lying to his benafactors, who wouldn't feel like a sinner in his conditions? That could reenforce a lot of generational trauma he most definetely has.
I feel like, more than most from mondstadt, Kaeya would really understand the irony of an archon of freedom and revolution. Because, fundamentally, people in Teyvat can never be free, they are bound by fate, the heavenly principals and the only revolutions that seem to succeed are the ones celestia allows.
Because Barbatos wasn't free to be an archon, he didn't choose the life. In fact, he seemed to avoid the conflict for most of the archon war, untill his conscience won out and he helped the humans overthrow the tyrants.
I feel like Kaeya is such a beutiful parallel to Old modstadt moreso than new mondstadt and barbatos himself when he joined and won the archon war. Because they both have a choice, to be happy or to be "good", to make a moral choice.
Barbatos doesn't want to be archon but "[his] children deserve[s] the joy of songs and dance, and the rights to overthrow vile tyrants."
And what is celestia, if not vile tyrants?
Also, their conception of family is surpisingly wide, wider than in most countries today. We saw that with Weinlesafest, and it was definetely hearwarming... But...
As rosaria said, sometimes family can be a twisted thing and not as straight forward as it may seem.
It says a lot, just how loyal Kaeya is to his adoptive family vut I do fell that he considers that as a duty also, not just as a choice like most people claim. In Mondstadt, adoptive family is the same as biological, and it's cool that they don't even seem to disregard heritage since that's fundamentally razor's journey.
He's fine, he's got a lot of people who care for him and he still wants to figure how how his bio parents were, not because they're his "real" family but because he's curious and wants to know. And nobody faults him for that or tells him to be grateful of the family he has and not care about his origins.
And while I think that's very very nice and a good thing we should aspire to, socially, i think it made his confict worse. Because they are both his families, that's the culture in Mondstadt, and so there is no "easy way out", either way he's bretray his "real" family.
(i don't think either part of his family is "fake" or should be dismissed but there is no better language in our society)

Mourning them
A Genshin Impact fanfiction.
Do not proceed any further if you dislike angst linked to one-sided love and major character death : mind the tags.
CW : major character death, angst for all ships mentioned, one-sided ZhongChi/TartaLi, ChiLumi, platonic ZhongVen, platonic VenLumi or one-sided VenLumi.
How long had it been, already? Perhaps a thousand of years? He had lost count of the time.
It had been so long since the cryo archon, the Tsaritsa, ruler of Snezhnaya had launched her attack against the Heavenly Principles. Against Celestia.
So many years had passed... since he died. Since she also died.
The earlier was a one-sided love.
The latter was a good friend as well as a hero loved by all.
Those were the thoughts circling in his mind as he made his way to her tomb. To pay her a visit.
Looking back on those shared moments with them, he closed his eyes and remembered a fond memory.
There he was, sitting at a table, an exquisite cup of tea in his hand, his eyes lingering on the ocean as the people of Liyue made their way through the harbor, on their way back to work, or off to lunch, sometimes stealing mixed glances, all in his direction.
His eyes thus following the looks, the corners of his mouth curled up in an amused smile.
"Ugh- Childe! Quit it already! Give it back! This is not funny!" The traveler wanted her voice to sound firm, but the genuine fun she was having translated in her voice, betraying her.
What was assumingly supposed to be a glare from her was directed to a copper-haired young man, a pair of light blue haired feathers jokingly adorning his hair instead of hers, as it usually would. He was tauntingly holding a most elegant rapier, seemingly fontainian, way up above her head.
"Would you just look at that! Now that's a gorgeous weapon you've got here, comrade! Don't you think so, mister Zhongli?"
This name's bearer let out a laugh before giving his answer:
"Hah, yes, most refined indeed. Despite Fontaine being a nation mostly known for its mechanics, its people's skills when it comes to weapons craftmanship knows no need to envy Inazuma's reputation in this domain..."
Despite Paimon and the two youth giving him frequent looks, proving their want to listen to the cultured man and respect his speech, the fact that the harbinger was still toying around with the blonde woman, holding her rapier above his head, basically making her dance around him, also counted as an evidence that his question was partly rhetorical.
Seeing them get along like this made him smile. But the attention that he was giving her... was hurting him. Deep down. He just wasn't aware of it yet.
Two years later, Lumine finally sided with the Fatui, after learning everything she needed to know about this world. According to her, it needed to be built anew. When Childe broke the news to him, claiming that they had yet another powerful card up their sleeve, his eyes were shining in a newfound light. One full of ambition. Full of determination. Full of pride. Full of hope.
Full of love.
That's when the Lord of Geo bitterly realized that his friends would probably die, that he would likely be obligated to face them in battle despite his now weakened might, that the retired archon realized his feelings for him. At long last, despite the wisdom that he had learnt to cultivate thanks to an old, already long departed friend of his.
Now in the present time, he opened back his eyes in a deep sigh, knowing that he was now at the place where the Traveler, Honorary Knight of Mondstadt, Savior of Liyue, Captain of Swordfish II, First Sage of Buer, Leader of the Revolution, Flame of the War, and Twelfth Fatui Harbinger rested.
Nonetheless, a peculiar sight presented itself to him.
Peculiar and eerie.
There she was, the beloved hero, curled up on her knees, putting a bouquet of windwheel asters on her own tomb.
After what felt like an eternity to him, he finally dared to speak:
"Lumine?"
Lumine suddenly turned her head in a surprised way.
His feet brought him closer to her, allowing him to look more carefully at her face.
Her eyes.
Her eyes were different.
Not a shade of gold.
Green.
Anemo green.
Just like the color of her front locks, tied in two braids.
He immediately understood who was sitting in front of him.
A sad smile appeared on 'her' face, causing Zhongli to lightly scoff in the same way.
"Hey there, blockhead... you know, short ginger hair is a curious look on you." Barbatos finally spoke.

You probably hear a lot of weird theories daily, so this is another addition to them, but my theory says that Natlan will be destroyed by Celestia at the end of the Fontaine. I’ll elaborate further. But, in short, it’s due to the lack of foreshadowing and the writers aren’t really doing anything to hype the nation and because of unconfirmed leaks that made too much sense in this specific train of thought. There will be discussion of leaks after Read More, so be careful.
So, I started to think of this after noticing how absent Natlan seems to be from everything in the current point. The game started with Mondstadt and Liyue. My friend who was starting playing from the beginning said that Inazuma was mentioned at the end of the Liyue story, but I’m not sure how other characters or just things from Inazuma were referenced.
Also, an interlude: before you ask, I’m not looking at additional material, besides the trailers. I believe these things have to stand on themselves in the main story.
Returning each nation has something to be hyped for:
Mondstadt: a quite vanilla pseudo-medieval European fantasy, even if I see it as analogue to Hong Kong, it plays safe to introduce the player to the world
Liyue: plays a safe Chinese fantasy, but kinda new to Western players, so it feels fresh, plus the Chasm is considered a great level
Inazuma: standard Japanese fantasy, but it makes new things with Watatsumi and Enkanomiya, and the Traveler is essentially Commodore Perry opening the country
Sumeru: combination of Arab and Indian fantasy in a pseudo-cyberpunk story, involving academic cadres, I feel this is where the writers did try to make something actually new, never seen before in the medium
I remember seeing Sumeru NPCs (there’s a couple right at Mondstadt) and various references to things that happen in Sumeru. But there have been references to both Fontaine and Snezhnaya.
Fontaine: a country with many travelers around the other nations of Teyvat, many acting as visiting engineers and artists, known for its technological progress and for being the nation of justice; I imagine its plot will involve parallels with the French Revolution, because the term “industrial revolution” is directly derived from the term “French revolution”, because it implied revolutions in technology the same way the French Revolution implied a revolution in politics; wasn’t there a guillotine in a recent trailer?
Snezhnaya: another country with many travelers, including both Fatui and non-Fatui – which is quite surprising, because the writers are exploring earlier how a lot of Snezhnayans are just normal people, most of them are traders so far we’ve seen –, this is more distant because it’s supposed to be the last nation, and is also technologically advanced. We have, however, an idea of what’s going to happen: after bullying other nations as an imperialistic power for so long, the Traveler is going to bring the war to the Fatui in their home ground and this will shake things up there, so there’s a lot to be hyped about
The problem is where is Natlan in all of this? We know that it’s based on Pre-Columbian America and Pre-1500s East Africa, but what else, besides its trailer (trivia: I saw the revealed character is called Iansan, which is the name of an African divinity worshipped in Afro-Brazilian religions like candomblé)? We have a reference to hot springs in Inazuma City. And Capitano, being based. And…and…that’s all I can remember. Not even in Sumeru I remember any reference, and they’d be interested in learning about it.
From what I saw from old leaks, Natlan is under something similar to the Sakoku Decree, no one can leave the nation. Not only that, but it’s also a country without civilization, just sparse tribes that gather around Aztec-like pyramids. We don’t know why, but it’s something Murata has decreed for whatever reasons, but it seems she’s acting on some sort of luddism… I think.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to have a Natlanese escape their home country and go explore Teyvat? Or having an explorer returning with stuff and maps from there (I think Venti did something to help there, but I forgot where I saw it)? And yet, it’s been four entire game updates and the references are so sparse. We have no idea of what to expect because the writers apparently aren’t doing anything to hype them up.
I even tried to hype it up, by saying we might get chocolate-related recipes (because it’s no news but cacao comes from its real life equivalent) in another post, but the only reaction was a rude reminder that it’s a nation without civilization. Why would the writers just make Sakoku Decree 2: Pyro Boogaloo? And yet nobody in the current nations of Teyvat seems to miss them, it feels they’re kind of invisible. There isn’t even stereotypes of them being savages, it makes me wonder if Teyvat is that socially advanced to just accept the Natlanese way of life as an equal to any other in the world.
What makes each nation unique is their unique civilizations. And then comes a nation that has no civilization. From what we had so far, we don’t know what to expect. The Natlan country might be a sparsely populated continent, like the Americas before 1500 – but even so the Americas had quite a number of civilizations, like Central American ones, the Andean ones, even less known ones, like the civilizations in the Mississippi basin (due to greater unpredictability concerning the Mississippi river’s flood plains, it was harder to establish a civilization, creating cycles of thriving and receding urbanization; the moment right before the Europeans’ arrival was one in a receding cycle) or even the Marajoara civilization at the mouth of the Amazon river. There was also civilizations, big ones, in East Africa as well, like like Songhan and the Mali empires.
We’ve seen the writers will borrow from real life story, even if they do their twists. There’s little that remains from Pre-Columbian civilizations writings, so one thing could be a reenactment of Maya myths (but we have more of East African writings). Or even make a story involving imperialism and colonization, using the opportunity to introduce a new alien faction – like, James Cameron’s Avatar is popular, they could borrow from it – that started colonizing Natlan and might be a problem for not just the Traveler but to Celestia itself.
The point is that there’s nothing in the current story that says anything about what to expect. It feels like an afterthought. And, summarizing everything, there’s also the issue of escalation. Leaks said that there will be 440 hydroculii in Fontaine – this means that Natlan will likely have over 500 and they need to create a lot of things for the player to do there. Given how used the player will be at this point with civilization, how are they going to fill the world map with quests? And they have to keep that for a year and the dev team must know at this point what works and what doesn’t to keep the player busy for a year. Unless, of course, they have a plan for de-escalation.
But recent leaks made me realize: what if it’s the point?
Leaks being leaks, they aren’t supposed to be trustworthy. I will be vague, but the leaks said that some characters will be resurrected (and be playable) and that Celestia will activate at some point in Fontaine. These are bombastic if true, to say the least.
But, suppose they are. I’m more interested in the second one for this theory, because it was foreshadowed – Rex Lapis stepped down and the Geo Archon job is vacant, it makes sense for Celestia to activate and elect a new Geo Archon.
Celestia so far has been treated mysteriously. They’re the ones that govern with an iron fist Teyvat. They wiped out Khanreiah for the sin of wishing for a world without gods (implied militarism notwithstanding – I know there are Nordic influences for the Khanreian founders, but it makes me wonder if the nation itself borrowed a bit from US, with its high level of immigration and isolationism, which used to be a feature of American politics). They curse Seelies and Hilichurls to suffer for eternity. They made the Traveler’s sibling, once a great hero, and the Archon of Love to adopt a “destroy using whatever it takes, lies, murder, conspiracy, ignore morality, kill everyone and let God sort who belongs to him” approach to fight against them. And, considering how Genshin’s story borrows from gnostic mythology, it’s more than obvious that they will be the final antagonist. In my personal theory, Celestia is already eroded and now just follows protocols, like a faulty AI, that is unable to realize the world needs to move on.
But, we’re shown, like what happened to the hilichurls in the Chasm, but these are indirect ways to show this. There needs to be an event that makes the Traveler witness with their own eyes how far Celestia would go and let the Traveler (likely) judge they’re beyond redemption – the moment they’re tempted to say “My sibling did nothing wrong!”
That moment would be the destruction of an entire nation – Natlan. Why? I don’t know why they’d choose Natlan, but there are some things I consider signs, with the apparent disinterest of the writers in trying to make the player excited for it. Why would you do that with, essentially, a disposable country?
Of course, I might eat my words in August 2024 and feel really silly when reading this again, and they make something good out of it. But, eh, this wouldn’t stop me from having these thoughts.

Do you ever think of Venti lore and you’re in the mood for angst? Because I did that and I realized that Venti took the nameless bard’s appearance and his occupation, but Venti fights with a bow. And the bard didn’t wield a weapon. But he was killed by arrows. And I just- Is this Venti’s idea of vengeance or of honor?
What’s even more curious is that the skyward catalyst says he was a catalyst user briefly before he took up the bow. Was he originally repulsed by the bow and needed to use something else before he felt prepared to use it? Why bother to tell us something so seemingly insignificant if they’re not going to explain why they chose to reveal it.
But let’s be honest, even when we do get more Venti lore it probably won’t be about Mondstadt’s beginnings. They’ve already touched on that and they’ve probably got bigger more important things to cover. But that doesn’t keep me from wanting to know more. About everything I just mentioned. About Venti. How did he feel ascending to godhood right after his friend’s death? Did he have proper time to grieve his friend before having to shift into his new role? Did he like being a god and having a humanoid form or did he prefer being a wisp? What were his initial thoughts about being an archon, about Mondstadt and it’s people? What were their thoughts on him? They just killed their tyrant god and another one shows up like two seconds later and Celestia just declares that he’s their archon now. Were they angry? Suspicious? Did Venti immediately do something to win over their trust? What made the newly freed people of old Mondstadt love Barbatos so much? Were they somehow convinced that he helped with the revolution? DID he actually help with the revolution (because the lore is really vague about that) gaining his new form after his friend died but before Decarabian did and then finished him off? What was the nameless bard’s name anyway? Did he not actually have one? Or did Venti forget it with time because everything succumbs to erosion eventually like Zhongli said?
Idk I’m just really passionate about Mondstadt, hoyo pls care about it too I need more!
You know what's funny I actually was having a Venti lore discussion with Luna (Ventisslut) not that long ago. We were talking about that angst headcanon that's like: Venti likes to sit in the hands of the Barbatos statue because it reminds him of when nameless bard used to hold him. And she sent me this cute little video of Venti as a wisp with nameless bard and the entire life story of Venti in an animatic from being a little wisp to his friend dying and then him actually becoming a bard and the way he processed his grief. I believe she reblogged the video so if you want you might be able to find it on her page. Also the fandom likes to call Venti's friend Himmel and I like that name very German. Very cute.
Tbh I find the stuff about him once being a catalyst user so amazing because his fighting style really does feel like a catalyst user and then if he did pick up the bow out of some kind of self justice of some sort I wonder if he ever feels powerful holding something that uses similar mechanics to his friends eventually demise.
What I want is the little things like Venti hatching baby Dvalin. And his possible friendship with Andrius before he became a spirit. Maybe the anime will answer all of this stuff if the game doesn't I mean I heard rumors that the anime is going to show the time period before Traveler came to Teyvat. Maybe we'll finally get the bits and pieces of Venti lore we deserve. Ngl I am going to eat that shit up. Every little piece of Venti the anime has I'm going to eat it up because the game doesn't do him enough justice.
Safe to say I'm ninety nine percent watching for Venti.

          ⤷  『  ❛ we won’t forget each other, right? ❜  』
Tumblr media
Aether smiled softly at the other's gentle and heartfelt question. Thoma had been a very kind and welcoming person right from the very first time Aether had set foot in Inazuma and met him. They had ended up going through quite a bit together, and Aether had even ended up staging a bit of a revolution against the Shogun on his path to an audience with her.
Answers had not been forthcoming in the end, but he'd made great friends along the way that he knew he could rely on if he truly needed them. He generally endeavoured not to require said help, but he knew he could ask for it without consequence and that was what mattered in the end.
Once he was finally ready to depart for his next destination, the rainforest of Sumeru, he found himself eager to leave the cluster of islands behind, but still a little reluctant to part with the friends he'd made. It was always like this, but nevertheless the experience was a struggle. In some places more than other, even.
Mondstadt felt like the home he could return to when he grew weary of the journey and where close-knit friends were eagerly awaiting his return.
Liyue was more calm in that regard, a place he truly enjoyed visiting for its soothing atmosphere and solid environment. It was the place to go when everything got just a little too much, to get lost up high in the mountains with the fresh air and scent of xinqing to meet him, and the whispers of old friends on the wind. Should he feel more social, he could descend into the streets and be met with a flurry of activity that proposed a thorough but enjoyable contrast.
Inazuma in turn was a place that had not brought him much joy. His initial prohibition of moving on to the mainland, the thunderous climate both literal and political, the way the environment itself had seemed pitted against him and the majority of the people not being very welcoming…
That had changed over time after he had successfully changed the Shogun's mind together with Yae Miko and everyone's hopes and dreams for a brighter tomorrow. Nevertheless, there was a much smaller group of people there that he felt comfortable with. It was more intimate in a way, and also precious in a different sense as well, as though the few friendships he had amassed here shone that much brighter in the face of the overall lack of engagement from the populace as a whole.
Who knew what kind of encounters Sumeru would have in store for him, and whether or not he would finally gain at least some hint that could carry his journey onwards for once. With rejection after rejection from the Archons who could or would not provide him with the information he so desperately needed, he was beginning to almost feel aimless. It wasn't that his goals were any less tangible, but that the lack of progress was making it so much harder to believe that the answers truly would come eventually…
Still, there was no use in worrying over it all so soon before his departure, and certainly not when his friends had decided to throw him something of a farewell celebration. To brood when they had all put in such efforts for him wouldn't be very grateful of him.
So finally he set his darker thoughts aside to offer Thoma a smile over his glass, touched by the other's words and attachment to him when they'd truly not spent all that much time together in the end. Nevertheless, Thoma truly was extremely likeable and Aether was pleased to have met him. Indeed, the other truly does have quite a Mondstadter's personality when you think about it.
"Of course not. No matter where I go or how long I'll be gone, I won't forget you." If anything, Thoma made it sound like he'd be going away for good, the thought eliciting a small chuckle. "I promise I'll come visit when I get the chance, okay?"

Things we don’t know about Old Mondstadt (that Hoyoverse refuses to tell us)
Aka things that haunt me (and probably many other old mondstadt fans)
(keep in mind- not all of these may be entirely unanswerable as of now, some have partial/vague canon answers, while some may have completely canon yet relatively obscure answers)
(for the sake of making things easier to write, i will refer to venti’s dead friend/the nameless bard as “nb” and the red haired warrior as “rhw”, and specifically wisp venti as “wispti”, and i will be referring to the group of wispti, nb, rhw, gunnhildr, and amos (and maybe decarabian too if he’s relevant in that context) as the “old mond gang”)
Note- lots of paragraphs ahead
1- why is nb nameless? does he just… not have a name? does he have a name that he either intentionally or unintentionally kept secret? did he have a name that he used openly and oftenly, but it was forgotten by history as time went on? if anything, did he at least have some sort of nickname people used for him (so we can stop calling him “some nameless guy or smth idk”)?
2- While nb being, well, nameless, may be a bit more justified, what about rhw? did he also have some sort of name? would calling him “ragnvindr” (or similar) be entirely un-canon? did he at the very least have some sort of code name/nickname?
3- what is the timescale of the rebellion? did it take weeks, months, years? decades? how long ago did thoughts of revolution start in old mondstadt? were the people always unhappy, or did old mond use to be a better place?
4- what is nb’s role in the rebellion? did he start it? is he just a leader in general? or is he just there for the moral support? was he on the front lines or in the distance, playing his lyre to rally the troops? is he a strategist? has he ever directly fought anyone on the opposing side?
5- actually, how old is nb anyway? pretty sure most people agree that the rest of the old mond gang are adults (not wispti but like. i’ll touch more on that later), but i’ve seen stories/theories/headcanons about how old nb was (at the time of death) ranging from around 14 to 23 years old- that is not a small range by any means. (according to a poll i made a while ago, 16 was the most common answer on what people thought their age was (my headcanon too), but there was definitely a lot of range in the answers)
6- If Amos and Decarabian’s romantic relationship is so toxic (for lack of a better word), how any why did they get together in the first place? Did amos enter the relationship aware decarabian was against some of the things she wanted most in life? did she enter the relationship purely to try to “fix” him? was he abusive towards her, or was it just a lack of attention/affection/caring about other things more than her? or was it that he never loved her/was attracted to her romantically at all? were they still in a relationship even until the very end, or did they eventually split up when they both knew they would have to fight eachother and that things wouldn’t work out between them?
7- according to the “biography of gunnhildr” book (i think that’s the name), it says they worshipped the wind spirit barbatos and treated it like a deity, while other sources say wispti was nameless and was like. just kinda there. is one of them the truth, or both, or neither?
8- does wispti have arms and/or legs of any kind? can he talk/communicate with people? if so, how does he go about doing so?
9- it’s implied in “a drunkard’s tale” (an ingame book) that the wind spirit that transformed into a fox and helped create wine is the same wind spirit as well. wispti. if that means wispti can shapeshift, to what extent can he do it? can he even become a human/humanoid (not to the same detail and/or time extent that modern venti/barbatos can do so but still)? if so, how does that impact his relationship with nb and/or the rest of the old mond gang?
10- how long did the members of the old mond gang know eachother? did most of them meet in relation to the rebellion, or did some of them know eachother before they got to that point?
11- what is the order of events between amos dying, nb dying, decarabian dying, barbatos getting the gnosis, barbatos taking nb’s form, the end of the fighting, and rhw leaving/abandoning (for lack of better words) everyone? how much time took place between all those happening?
12- what exactly are the purposes of the tower? is it just a living space/government building for decarabian and amos, or is there more to it? did other people live in the tower too? if the circular ruins/symbols seen in the tower present-day were also there back then, why and how are they there? are the light actuators in the tower related to anything involving decarabian’s power/immortality and/or the storm wall?
13- how impenetrable is the storm wall, really? is everything restricted from going in or out, or are some people able to move freely? what is the immigration/emigration rate of the city? how often are things imported and exported? does the wall have any intended purpose other than for keeping the blizzard out?
14- how did amos get her bow? why is it so (hypothetically) powerful? where did she get it and how did it “retain its power” to this day?
15- how “old” is wispti? he could theoretically be any “age” between “manifesting into existence shortly before his first interaction with nb” and 14 billion years old/as old as time itself(and you thought nb’s theoretical age range was large.) how much did wispti truly know before getting involved with the rebellion? was he technically a toddler (in terms of knowledge/mentality), or does he actually have thousands of years of knowledge?
16- to what extent did the imunlaukr (i probably spelled that wrong) and lawrence clans participate in the old mondstadt rebellion? were they involved at all? should the old mond gang be eventually expanded to include more people? (lawrence, venerare, etc)
17- HOW DID DECARABIAN LOOK LIKE? HOYOVERSE PLEASE. IF YOU WONT GIVE US HIS FULLBODY DESIGN WITH MULTIPLE POSES AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AT LEAST GIVE US SOME CRUMBS ABOUT HIS APPEARANCE (how tall he was, hair color, outfit style, special accessories he wore, weapons he used, etc)
18- what is the relationship of the old mond game to eachother? were they friends? found family? or were things far more complicated than that? (and what was their reaction to knowing amos, one of their biggest allies, was also the lover/partner of their (the old mond gang’s) enemy?
19- did some of the genshin weapons with lore relations to old mondstadt actually get used during old mondstadt? (aka did nb get to use freedom-sworn as an actual combat weapon)
I probably left out a lot of things so i may go back later to edit, but there are just. SO many things hoyoverse keeps behind the lore basement. If anyone would like to add onto this list, or provide personal headcanons and/or canon answers to the things mentioned here, i highly reccomend doing so.

genshin theory—celestia is dead (spoilers for the inazuma archon quest and the genshin webtoon)
celestia is dead, and it has been for a very long time. since the cataclysm, actually!
here's the timeline of events.
the archon war happens, and the archons rise to power. celestia grants them gnoses, both as a way to give them extra power and to monitor them.
however, time passes, and the archons grow dissatisfied with how celestia rules teyvat. the archons clearly dislike celestia—venti expresses how he wouldn't go to celestia even if he was invited, and zhongli refuses to even speak about it.
the theme of revolution is nothing new in genshin—venti and the mondstadters overthrew decarabian, zhongli overthrew osial, and the inazumans and traveler overthrew ei. history has a way of repeating itself in genshin. thus, it's entirely possible that the archons decided to band together and overthrow celestia.
the archons launch an assault against celestia. one of two things happens—either khaenri'ah gets caught in the crossfire and is destroyed by the fallen pieces of celestia, or the gods decide to kill two birds with one stone and destroy both khaenri'ah and celestia in one go, ensuring no witnesses to their act. either way, pieces of celestia fall into other parts of teyvat, manifesting as what we now know as the skyfrost nail, the chasm nail, and possibly others as well.
in the assault, raiden makoto and the old dendro archon/the god of the woods die.
some things that are most likely related to celestia's fall as well:
-the statues' lost oculi. the bases on the statues of the seven match the tops of the skyfrost and chasm nails exactly. as a sidenote, this pattern is also part of the celestial beings in venti's memory of celestia, and on the cuffs of paimon's clothing. the statues apparently lost their oculi due to some event—and that event would have to be earth-shaking enough to scatter the oculi across their entire nations.
-the inactive teleport waypoints. the waypoints have the same blue light ascending upwards as the statues of the seven and the nails—this blue light is pretty much exclusively seen in things related directly to celestia. the waypoints are inactive because celestia is dead. for some reason, traveler is able to restore them.

ooc: Alt. Verses/AUs for Muses!
Tumblr media
Final Fantasy 14 Midori: Midori is an Au'Ra who grew up in the Ruby Sea with two older sisters. The three were nobles, treated like precious dolls to serve their family. Midori was the youngest, always causing issues with her clumsiness and hiding away from others shyly. The three dreamed of seeing the world above after hearing from travelers about a grand revolution against a terrible tyrant. It was then that Midori learned of Yugiri, another Au Ra like herself, and grew to admire her.
When the oldest decided they wanted to leave home and break free from their confined noble lives, the other two went with her to explore the world. Since Midori admires Yugiri, she wants to be a ninja like her, training hard despite not being the best at it now that she is free to do so.
Tumblr media
Final Fantasy 14 Xia: Xia is flirtatious and charming, using her beauty and words to attract anyone she desires. A masterful manipulator, Xia finds it fun to play with the hearts of others and trick them into thinking she’s desperately in love with them, only to be using them for power or fortune (or both). Kugane was her final stop. Xia had been around a majority of places, flirting and taking riches from both unsuspecting men and women.
She ran away before they could find out and catch her, hopping place to place before she found Kugane. She fell in love with the town, the people there never seeing a Viera before and willing to spend time (and money) on her. Xia thought about becoming a geisha but wanted to be more free in case trouble came to her again. She took up becoming a samurai in order to protect herself better, being in the rogue guild from some time but now living too far from them.
Tumblr media
Final Fantasy 7 Xia: She used to live in the slums but ran from home, joined the Honeybee Inn, then after stole from Corneo and escaped. The Turks learned of her escapade and ran into her before hiring her on as a newbie. She found her calling being an undercover unit for them and is loyal to them while they are keeping an eye on her to keep her out of trouble.
Tumblr media
Pokemon Gijinka AU Kyana: Kyana is a trainer aiming for the big leagues and championship. She wants that under her belt so that maybe she has a really good chance to become a fire-type gym leader. Though battling with a sort of single type of Pokemon is a bit tough, she loves fire types so much to stick with it. Kyana herself is very energetic and can be hyper, rushing into things without a lot of thought. She loves to battle but also kind of wishes there were contests like the ones she heard exist in other regions.
Kyana also tends to let her emotions drive her, including wearing her heart on her sleeve and tends to crush easily on anyone cute and charming.
Kyana’s Team is: 1. Fuecoco (Taco) 2. Growlithe (Flare) 3. Lampent (Calcifer) 4. Larvesta (Fluffy) 5. Charcadet (Zero) 6. Fletchinder (Phoenix)
Tumblr media
Genshin Impact Iyumi: Iyumi is a Electro Fatui mage on the prowl for someone cute she can call hers. To most she acts vicious and snobby, ready to electrocute them should they get on her nerves. But should she find the someone she wants, she becomes more adoring and flirty, chasing after them until she can have them. Which can turn into an aggressive chase should the other not want her.
Tumblr media
Genshin Impact Kyana: Kyana is from Mondstadt, growing up learning about the wind god as well as the knights of Favonius. When she discovered her Vision, she couldn’t control it well and caused many accidents. But her parents never hated her for it, instead worked hard and encouraged her to train herself and use her abilities for good.
After all, Visions were seen as gifts from gods, so she had a greater purpose to fulfill. Kyana feels like her purpose is to become a knight and protect the people of Mondstadt from any danger. She works hard to catch their eye so they will accept her in.
Tumblr media
Kingdom Hearts Diana: Diana is the resident of a world called Eclipse’s Embrace, a medieval old European world with knights and even mages. At a young age, Diana looked up to her mother who was a knight of the kingdom and wanted to be just like her. She practiced hard though they had no need to worry about battles as the world was at peace. That is until the darkness came.
When the heartless invaded her home world, a very young Diana was sent alone on a gummi ship set to anywhere safe by autopilot. Her parents said they were going to join her in another one, making sure she was safe first, but never made it. Their whereabouts to her are still unknown. After a Heartless encounter in Traverse Town, Diana discovered she was a keyblade wielder and now is off to stop the darkness and find her family.

Tsareena Gijinka Iyumi (A Pokemon Gijinka version of Iyumi where she is a Tsareena. Prissy and can seem stuck up but is actually willing to help others. If you’re charming and caring, her personality flips and she becomes a lot more friendly and adoring.)
Tumblr media
Demon Iyumi: A demon AU for Iyumi where she is a demon princess wanting to find her king and become a queen! Though her stuck up, snobbish attitude tends to scare away others. However, if she has interest in you, her personality switches and she’ll be nice and adoring towards you, possibly even flirty. Though watch out, when she sets her eyes on someone she wants, she’ll do anything to get them. Also has a Disgaea verse where she is a wannabe Overlord!
Tumblr media
Goddess of Darkness Iyumi and Goddess of Light Miyuki: Twin goddesses with not only polar powers but polar personalities. Iyumi is a snob and a bit of a brat, seeing herself as above all others (especially mortals) though secretly wants to find someone to love (and dominate over) and has a secret soft side as well. Miyuki is sweet and kind and has a very sympathetic heart, willing to help any mortals she comes across that are in trouble. Though she is also quite gullible and naive. The two bicker at times but try to work with each other.
Tumblr media
Kingdom Hearts Xia: Xia used to be a normal girl named Ai living in Radiant Garden until the darkness came and consumed the town and her along with it. Ai was a sweet, kind, lady that loved nature but the darkness had consumed her heart so greatly her Nobody ended up being nothing like her. When she became a Nobody she gained the ability to summon and control plants, her favorite things to summon being roses and vines. This power might have come from the fact Ai’s parents owned a flower shop and Ai’s favorite flower was roses. Xia woke up with strangely no memories of her past self, only her name Ai. This didn’t bother her though as she decided with her new found powers to explore the worlds. She had heard of a group called Organization XIII and discovered they were Nobodies just like her and spied on them for quite some time and decided to change her name to have an X in it as well. She’s hoping to catch their attention and become a part of them just to have some allies on her side. Or perhaps use them for her own devious purposes.
Tumblr media
Fire Emblem Three Houses Ai: Ai Malificia is a Golden Deer student. A little shy but friendly and kind to all, Ai mainly focuses on magic, studying Reason and Faith. She can be seen in the library or the courtyard but especially the greenhouse with all the flowers. Ai loves flowers, especially pink roses. She also has a twin sister who has run away from home that she hasn’t heard from in a long time. The two were dotted on by their overprotective parents as both had Crests.
They feared what could happen to the two and though Ai didn’t mind, her sister had enough and decided to run away. Ai was sad for days until she heard about the Monastery. It took some convincing for her parents to let her attend as a student but finally they let her go. Now on her own, Ai strives to do her best and learn to be a healer in order to help others.
Tumblr media
Goddess Ai: Ai is kind-hearted, gentle, soft-spoken, nature goddess who loves flowers as well as relaxing activities like painting or reading with tea. She is quite naive about the world though, only knowing little from books and hasn’t been outside much due to worrying that there is danger out there. Ai is sweet and could possibly never harm anyone no matter the danger she may end up in.
Tumblr media
Vampire Xia: Flirtatious and mischievous, Xia loves to prey on those who fall for her charms. She of course aims for a meal but also likes luxurious things so she targets the rich and gets them to fall for her so they give her whatever she wishes. She pretends to be human, going from place to place to have her fun and doesn’t settle on one place for too long.
Tumblr media
Twisted Wonderland Kyana: A Twisted Wonderland verse for Kyana with her as the MC! Suddenly transported away from her city home to the strange academy, Kyana is far from home with no magic and no idea how to get back. But she doesn’t let it get her down too much. Fascinated by the new world she is in, she sets to explore it and meet the various students of the dorms.
Still, why was she brought here? What is her purpose? These questions circle the mind of the spunky, fiery spirited girl as she attends the academy as a student, trying to learn all she can about the world and a possible way back.
Tumblr media
Pokemon AU Nikki: A young trainer with octopus type Pokemon, her favorite being an Octillery she named Tickles! She can be rather strange, doing odd things and saying odd things but is rather friendly, even to those who might be evil. She sees every Pokemon as a potential friend, no matter how scary they may seem!
Tumblr media
Yugioh 5DS Aku: Aku lives in the not so grand parts of Neo Domino though it’s not too shabby either. He loves to duel and duels with a rather tough, cocky, sadistic personality. His deck reflects him so that he was nicknamed the Dark Punk by random strangers. Nobody really hangs with him because of how he is but the friends he does make he is loyal and kind too. He became a duelist to better himself at dueling and become the greatest like his idol, Jack Atlas.
Tumblr media
Angel Miyuki: Miyuki or Miyu is a young angel of heaven. She watches over humans with great curiosity but also a sense of duty to protect them. She is quite interested in the mortal world and wishes to visit it one day. Though she is no warrior, she wishes to use her healing abilities to help anyone in need. Miyu cares a lot for all living things and sympathizes easily with others’ struggles, even demons and fallen angels. The innocent angel only wishes to help whoever in need in whatever way she can. Face claim: Nasse from Platinum End
Tumblr media
Fairy Miyuki/Miyu: Miyu is a friendly fairy that lives in the forest. Since people who come there sometimes get lost, if she finds anyone with such a case, she tries to help them in any way she can to find their way out and be happy. She feels sorry for them and also as someone who was born in the forest, finds it her duty to help those who don’t know the area well. Miyu is however naive and desires to help everyone even if they might have hidden intentions, and is rather innocent in nature. She could never hurt anyone even if they were to try and hurt her.

hiiii twirls hair can i ask abt your ocs ?
YES YES OF COURSE I literally just posted about one cos I was drafting it while waiting for the opticians lmao
BUT I ALSO HAVE;
Daniel Katzlien, Diona’s older brother. He left Mondstadt around the time Diona got her vision bc he was sick of his father’s alcoholism, went to Liyue with plans to go to the Akademiya in Sumeru with studies of his bloodline, ended up becoming a bit of a micro celebrity instead. When he realised he was becoming as bad as Draff, he became clean sober and took up philosophy and has a column about it in a paper :) he’s an electro claymore who heals + shields
Marius! He’s a treasure hunter from Fontaine, resides in Liyue. He ended up getting ditched by his band who sold up out to join the Fatui lmao. Now he has a little antique stall of stuff he’s ‘acquired’. Hydro polearm dps
Alois Zimmerman, a member of Old Mondstadt monarchy who lost his life in the revolution, only to come back as a vampire. The inventor of firearms and close associate of the Fatui (gunners, yk). Resides in Fontaine as a recluse and sells off his patents like hotcakes. Cryo catalyst dps
Feng Li, an ox half-adeptus who’s trying to blend in with life in Liyue, after living in isolation for a while. He’s an awkward friendly little guy who works in a China shop and is actually incredibly aware of himself and his size. I haven’t decided his vision yet (it’s a toss up between anemo and dendro) but he’s a bow :)
And then I literally just posted about Sasha because he’s the blorbo of the day methinks.

Reintroducing myself -- I'm Accordokite (formerly Kannachaos). I'm a reality shifter, and haven't posted in this account in quite some time, but it essentially functions as a dream journal and record of my experiences.
Below the cut is a list of all the DRs I'm currently trying to shift to, and here is a link to my old introduction with an old list of my DRs. My asks will be open, so feel free to ask questions about any of the DRs listed!
CURRENT DRs:
TWST DR
This is one of my oldest DRs, and I could honestly rant about this one for forever, but for now, all I will say is that this is one of the few DRs I can confidently say I minishifted to.
POKÉMON/PBR DR
I actually have two Pokémon DRs, but my Scarlet/Violet DR is simply called my Pokémon DR. My PBR DR, however, is a Battle Revolution DR, and also somewhat a Horizons-esque DR? It's kind of complicated, but my PBR DR is the one I have made more shifting attempts with recently.
MLP DR
I have WAY too many DRs for MLP, and I never seem satisfied with any of them. I've made a lot of shifts to MLP, but each version of the DR is super short-lived (ouch).
ULURU DR
Previously called my Xavier Comfort DR, this essentially acts as my new waiting room. Successfully shifted here once, but I'd put it in the minishift category because I couldn't stabilize myself. Basically just me and Xavier from Love and Deepspace hanging out on Uluru, no worries, kind of just in limbo.
FONTAINE DR
OLD/RETIRED DRs:
One of my Genshin DRs. This is the only one that has really stuck, and that I've tried shifting to time and time again. As the name suggests, I am a citizen of Fontaine in this DR.
TOMOUNARI DR
Thinking about retiring this one, but it's basically a mermaid DR. I daydream a lot about this one, but I think this is one of those DRs that I don't really want to live in. Not that it's bad, it just fits more as a backstory for another DR (which I actually did).
SORORITY DR
If you're an old follower of mine, you would know this was the first place I ever shifted to, and it was on accident. To this day, it's the only DR I've shifted to multiple times, and I wouldn't even call it a DR, since I never really desired to go there. Maybe I'm destined to be there, I really don't know.
TWST COTTAGE DR
See old intro post linked at the top for info on this one, because it has not changed.
NIJISANJI DR
This one is... complicated. I slowly stopped trying to shift there, and then the drama with Dokibird happened, and I kinda just... stopped. I also lost the script I had for this one, because at the time I wrote my scripts down on paper, so I guess it's better I leave it in the past.
ROYALTY DR
This DR had a lot of planning, but I only tried to shift there once or twice... I don't really count it, but it's included in my old introduction, so...
OLD GENSHIN DR(s):
Self explanatory, I was in Mondstadt instead of Fontaine. I also wielded the Hydro element, instead of the Dialo element (fan element) I wield in the Fontaine DR.
Under this category, I'll also include my Genshin Disciple DR (training as an upcoming adeptus under Moon Carver) and my Genshin Isekai DR (getting Isekai'd to Genshin and traveling on the Alcor with the Crux). They aren't really retired per say, but I haven't shifted to them in a hot minute.
These are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but there might be more I'm forgetting. I also have a Penacony DR I'm working on/want to shift to, but that probably won't happen until after 2.2 update... I have a few ideas in mind for this DR, but I'm indecisive on what exactly I want to do.
