You know how there's a whole thing about how DC superheroes die and get brought back a lot? Well, for DPxDC, how about this?
Every time a Justice League member gets resurrected, their ghost remains in the Ghost Zone.
So you'll have a member of the Justice League bite the bullet for whatever reason, they'll form as a ghost in the Ghost Zone. They'll make themselves comfortable, maybe they'll even becoming defenders of peaceful ghosts who have no experience fighting or no desire to fight. Maybe they'll find dead family members and re-establish their bonds. Maybe they'll find other dead members of the Justice League and make and undead branch of the Justice League. Maybe they'll meet Danny and either help teach him how to be a hero (if he's still young) or become a hero group supported by him (if he becomes the king).
And then, for whatever reason, someone found the magical amulet that can revive a person, they somehow developed 1-Ups for a limited time, the revival machine finally got a tune up, the hero gets revived. But the ghost doesn't leave the Ghost Zone. Because of this, the revived hero doesn't have any memories of their time in the afterlife. The ghost probably doesn't even notice something changed and that their old body is up and running again.
This all ends up coming to a head when the GIW decide to push the manhunt for Danny Phantom and all other ghosts, lying to the Justice League in order to convince them to help. They eventually decide to hunt down Danny and corner him, ready to capture him...
… And suddenly he's saved by a bunch of ghosts that look identical to them.

oh oh oh au where anakin and obi-wan are both generals of the rebellion and anakin escorts senator bail and queen breha back to Alderaan after a covert Resistance meeting on the request of General Kenobi because he’s the best flyer in the Rebellion and they need to sneak them back into Alderaan so the empire doesn’t know….
Only for the rebellion to get the news that the Death Star has destroyed Alderaan. No word from General Skywalker. It must be assumed that he died with the planet.
Obi-Wan refuses to believe it, even as the days pass with no signal from Anakin. But he can’t believe his old padawan is dead….and he can’t believe he’d sent him to his death either.
(Anakin is alive, but he had to go undercover as an Imperial to leave the planet in time and hasn’t been able to contact Obi-Wan, but surely Obi-Wan knows it’ll take more than a Death Star to kill him!!)
(Obi-Wan doesn’t know this)
(Their reunion involves Obi-Wan maybe toppling him into the dust in a hug and then punching him when Anakin makes a Hardeen joke about it all)

Details are everything in the Saw Franchise, These movies continue to prove that over and over again.
One Example I came across that I particularly Love, It's nothing Major, But I do love it.
In Saw I, In that iconic bathroom, John is facing Adam.
Now you may wonder, Why does this detail matter so much? This could have been a decision made with the roll of a die.
But that would be giving this whole franchise a dis-justice. Because every detail has meaning.
John knows Dr. Lawrence, He's one of his Cancer patients - He's one of the people he "Give's bad news to everyday". Whether Dr. Gordon knows John's face like he's an old friend, Whether it's one of the hundreds of faces he sees everyday, We don't know their routine and we don't know how well Dr. Gordon remembers a face, Remembers a name - Remembers a diagnosis.
But Adam doesn't know John.
But that leaves a question, Would Lawrence have recognised John if he was faced his way?
There's no real reason for bringing this up, no enlightening discovery this leads to, I just thought it was an interesting little detail I thought John would put some thought into.

it's been about three months since mysterious lotus casebook finished airing, and in reflecting on my initial reaction to the ending versus now, what's changed most for me during that time is that i'm far less concerned with whether the person we knew as li lianhua is physically alive or dead. he could be in either state. i don't know which, and i don't find it as interesting to choose one over revelling in ambiguity. what's more important to my personal reading of canon now is that li lianhua, as a persona and a mask, no longer exists.
like li xiangyi, although the man might still carry breath, li lianhua is dead in the eyes of the narrative. that phase of life— the life assigned to someone who tried not to be or want more than a ghost— is over. if you choose to believe that the person standing on the beach in the epilogue truly exists in the flesh, there to reunite with fang duobing and di feisheng? in my opinion, that's not li lianhua. he's someone new with a different name, freed of past chains. the man who wears his face may yet live, but if he cannot completely shake loose the expectations people placed on the past versions of him, then no one including himself can move on.
li lianhua must be dead by the end of the story.
