The siren song of critical thinking must be cast out as sin. Trump’s convictions are the supreme test of his followers’ strength of conviction.»

Trump frames himself as a quasi-religious figure – which is ironic given his personal lack of spirituality.

It's not at all gratuitous to refer to Trumpism as an extremist cult. Members of this cult will even flirt with death at his suggestion. We remember how large numbers of the Trump cult followed his quack medical advice during the pandemic emergency rather than observe scientific medical practices. Many became human sacrifices to the Dear Leader.

The only way this cult will end is to utterly defeat its leader. Reasoned arguments and logic won't cut it with the profoundly self-deluded. And the only way to defeat Republicans is to vote Democratic in large numbers.

Camp Solace was established in the 1980s. In 2022, the site was bought out by the wealthy Laurier family who plan to overturn it to appeal to “a higher class of customers”. But not before offering it to the Cloverleaf program for the season, free of charge. The things people do for their public image…

Reem Malak (F, early thirties): Music teacher, band guitarist and vocalist. Volunteering at Cloverleaf. Flo’s older half-sister. Also plays drums and percussion, sax, piano, bass… and bagpipes. Impulsive, passionate and energetic. Enjoys doing yoga and lifting weights. The cool girl. Very tall.

Flo Malak (M, late twenties): Martial arts teacher who gives classes for both adults and children. Also volunteering at Cloverleaf. Taekwondo, Krav Maga. Silent, kind and not without his quirks. Reem calls him “socially challenged”. Enjoys obscure media and monster movies. Even taller than his sister.

Out of curiosity, what kind of hobbies and/or special interests do the various characters have?

Ooh, some I’ve touched on in other asks, but I’ll reiterate them again here in one post 😁

Ash

Clearly, for Ash, it’s trying to learn various different kinds of martial arts that can help them get the edge in battle, like Sambo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, etc.

Recently, they’ve been a bit interested in tinkering with their motorcycles too (although, they will never tinker with their mom’s bike). Just trying to learn more about these machines that they love. They’re not a mechanic yet, but they are learning.

But outside of combat and motorcycle related stuff, they love listening to music and they listen to a wide genre of songs, depending on their mood. They’ve tried learning guitar when they were younger, but just stopped after getting frustrated, deciding to fully dedicate themself to their training instead 😆

Maybe if they live in a more mundane life, they would be a pretty good guitarist and they would be a band kid or something 🤣

Rin

Their mom is a classically trained musician and she taught them a bit on how to read musical notes and playing piano. But eventually, they just got too busy with their studies and their increasing responsibilities that they just stopped. They’re far from good in playing piano, but they’re at least decent.

Also, it was their mother who often played classical music for them, especially whenever they had a headache after using their ability too much. To this day, they still love to listen to classical music and listen to it whenever they need to chill.

But their secret special interest is actually in cooking 😌 Whenever they can, they will try to cook their own meal, but most of the time, they can’t, so they go eat outside. They also can do a bit of baking, mostly simple stuff. Maybe one day, they’ll take a more advanced baking class (private, of course, except if MC or Ash wants to join too).

Santana

Honestly, they don’t really know. They’ve always been really busy with their job, or trying to get enough sleep. They do enjoy cooking simple but hearty home-cooked meals occasionally, mostly recipes from their mom. But they’re not as passionate in cooking compared to Rin.

Their hobby is reading novels, even if they don’t really have much time to do that ever since they started their career. They mostly read whatever that intrigues them, but mostly, those end up being fantasy or sci-fi or historical fiction.

You’d think they love to read mystery or thriller, but honestly, they are already dealing with unsolved cases almost everyday—a lot of them leaving them lie awake at night. They don’t really need to read more fictional cases.

Their special interests are in arts stuff, especially drawing/sketching and poetry and a bit of amateur photography.

They’re pretty good in drawing and sketching, and decent in photography (mostly done on their phone for Facegram anyway), but the poetry… It’s a work in progress, alright 😂

They have a little journal book they usually bring around to do lil sketches, or write ideas, or try to write poetry. They hide it in a secure and secret place somewhere 🤭

Let Me Make Some Shit Clear

Hey, everybody. I never thought I would have to make a post like this, but here we go. Today I was tagged in a post by the lovely @violetpixiedust (please check out their post about this as well they cover it extremely well) and found out I was mentioned in a 'call-out' post for my Gator Tillman one-shot. The OP of the call-out post didn't have the balls to tag me, and instead listed me with many others and blocked me unprovoked. Here's screenshots of that post. I'll go into my feelings on that in a second. But, take a moment to read through all that.

So, let's set the record straight so nobody misunderstands me.

I do not in any way support MAGA bullshit, or any conservative ideology of any kind. I am a bisexual, leftist, atheist woman who believes in equality, respect, and rights for all.

I do not condone the awful actions of Gator Tillman, or his shit father. My story was very clear on that as well, he's extremely flawed and I thought I made that obvious. I really tried to drive home the fact that he's a product of abuse.

I was rooting for Dorothy Lyon the whole fucking season, because she is a badass woman who has been through too much for one lifetime. I myself am a victim of child abuse which has carried on into my adulthood. I know her. I am her. But I also know, and am, Gator. The OP also completely glazes over the fact that Gator was extremely abused. We see how Roy treats his 'property'. I do not think Gator would have been able to leave the ranch either, unless he got married off. If he left, he would be hunted down too.

Also, Gator knows he did bad things, he was ready to go to jail to pay for them as long as his awful father was kept away from him. Because he FEARED HIM. He was literally a child stuck in a grown man's body, and that is how we sympathize with him. And he killed that poor old woman on accident, I'm sure he took no pleasure in that. And the man in the skirt paid him back triple.

And another thing, it's fanfiction. And for those of you who have been in the trenches as long as I have would know that all kinds of stories get told in this community of ours. Is it always ethical? no. Is it always 100% morally sound? No. Does it explore many taboo subjects through artistic expression? Hell yes. There is a ton of stuff out there that I find repulsive and would never read. I will not say what because it is not my place to censor or judge others, or tell them how to express themselves. I simply focus on the works I do like, and read those. And this is something new fandom culture has seemed to have forgotten. Over and over I see people wringing their hands at smut, or subjects they find triggering, or things society says are wrong. But you're really opening a fucking can of worms when you're calling for the reporting, banning, and censorship of those who think differently than you. That's how you get laws like KOSA that directly target POC and LGBTQ+ content because some think it's 'pervasive' to children. That's how you get laws prohibiting teaching real history and removing diverse books from libraries.

Lastly, I will NEVER, EVER censor myself to please others. I will write whatever the fuck I want. You don't have to like it. That's fine. I learned a long time ago that I'm not to everyone's taste. And I've long since stopped giving a rat's ass about it. I am an artist, and I will continue to create the art that I am passionate about until my last dying breath.

         I acknowledge that the motto used by the British government to sustain public morale before the German blitz in 1940 has been overused. But the sentiment is appropriate for this moment in American history. In the next several months, a former president will likely face three indictments in three jurisdictions for three separate sets of crimes—all of which relate to his effort to gain or retain the presidency. That's a lot! To say the indictments will dominate American politics for years to come would be an understatement.

        A "once-in-the-life-of-a-nation" event will be made more trying because Trump has signaled his defense strategy—threatening violence to intimidate the participants in the judicial process, to disrupt the proceedings, and to undermine the legitimacy of the verdicts. Although we do not have confirmation that Trump will be indicted, he and his legal team have begun leaking information to the press and mounting attacks from Trump's vanity social media platform. Based on those statements, Trump expects to be indicted, to surrender, and to enter a plea this week.

         In language eerily reminiscent of Trump's incitement on January 6th, Trump posted a statement calling on his supporters to "PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!" That was the only encouragement Trump's followers needed to set social media aflame with calls to violence to protect Trump. Basement-dwelling trolls and miscreants called for MAGA extremists to create a "patriot moat" around Mar-a-Lago and to commence a "civil war." See Rolling Stone, MAGA Forum Suggests 'Patriot Moat' at Mar-a-Lago to Stop Trump Arrest.

         Marjorie Taylor Greene echoed those calls with a tweet urging Republicans to adopt a "scorched earth" strategy and claimed that "feds" would turn the MAGA protests into "violence." (FYI: a common conspiracy theory about January 6th asserts that "feds" provoked the protestors to violence.)

         The most disgraceful reaction came from Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who should have condemned Trump's oblique call for violence. Instead, McCarthy legitimized Trump's call to "take back our nation" by tweeting that he is

directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.

         Huh? Someone needs to do a wellness check on McCarthy to see if he is okay. His statement was so monumentally stupid that he might be feigning illness to distract from the fact he did not immediately rebuke Trump's implied call for violence. His failure to condemn Trump makes McCarthy an accessory to any violence that follows. He has disgraced the Speaker's office in a way seldom seen in our nation's history.

         [Update: Late Sunday evening, McCarthy tried to walk back the implications of Trump's post and McCarthy's tweet. McCarthy called for "calmness," saying,

"I think the thing that you may misinterpret when President Trump talks and someone says that they can protest, he's probably referring to my tweet: educate people about what's going on. He's not talking in a harmful way, and nobody should."

         As I said above: "Huh?"]

         After January 6th, it would be irresponsible to dismiss the potential for violence. Indeed, it seems inevitable that there will be isolated incidents during proceedings that will span years. Trump will use his campaign rallies to inflame passions and foment unrest.

         But . . . we should keep calm and carry on. Whatever happens, our system of justice is bigger and more durable than Trump. He is using the threat of violence to instill fear and raise anxiety in those who seek justice. We cannot surrender to the second-rate tactics of a third-rate demagogue.

         Remaining calm will require discipline and perspective, especially because any violence will be amplified and distorted by the media beyond all recognition. The media expects violence and is prepared to deliver round-the-clock replays of every incident without respite or perspective.

         If violence occurs, we need only reflect on the vastness of America, on its size and heft, on its immensity and scale to place the incidents in perspective. If several dozen protestors disrupt traffic in four blocks of Manhattan, that leaves 332 million Americans peacefully going about their lives in nearly four million square miles of a land that remains effectively boundless more than two centuries after its founding.

         Perspective will not diminish the significance or depravity of any violence, but it will help us remain focused and committed to ensuring that justice prevails—come what may. In this, we cannot fail. We must not. If we retreat or relent because of threats of violence, the rule of law is no more.

         While we should not underestimate the danger posed by Trump, America's strength is rooted in justice and fortified by righteousness. That strength will allow America to hold Trump accountable for his crimes and endure for generations to come. Future generations will know Trump as a faithless servant and traitor—and as a convicted felon.

         Keep calm and carry on. We have elections to win in 2024 and cannot be distracted by the slow wheels of justice.

This explains a lot.

         The current wave of retrograde extremism and mean-spirited divisiveness is sometimes difficult to comprehend. One partial explanation is that an entire generation of white Christian evangelicals see their ranks and power slipping away, and they are angry and fearful about the future. That is the thesis of Jennifer Rubin's op-ed in the Washington Post, Why white Christian nationalists are in such a panic.  

         Rubin writes about the newly released PRRI 2022 Census of American Religion— based on over 40,000 interviews conducted last year. In short, the census confirms a decades-long decline in the absolute and relative portion of Americans who identify as white Christians. The percentage decline of white Christians has been dramatic: 2008 (54%), 2014 (47%), and 2022 (42%).

         Per the report, the MAGA subset of white Christians has been particularly hard hit by the decline:

The group that has declined the most is at the core of the MAGA movement, the group most devoted to Christian nationalism. "White evangelical Protestants have experienced the steepest decline. As recently as 2006, white evangelical Protestants comprised nearly one-quarter of Americans (23%). By the time of Trump's rise to power, their numbers had dipped to 16.8%," Jones explains. "Today, white evangelical Protestants comprise only 13.6% of Americans."

         In a closely divided electorate, a dedicated group representing 13.6% of the population can nonetheless have an outsized impact on elections decided by a few hundred or a few thousand votes. That, in turn, explains the unholy dedication of white Christians to the suppression of votes.

         The shrinking number of Americans who identify as Christians should be a cause for reflection and introspection. It is not—at least not for MAGA Christians. Per Rubin:

With those kind of numbers, the responsible thing to do would be to think about "fixing" what's wrong by adapting to a changing market. Instead, many in this cohort have doubled down, becoming the foot soldiers in the red-hatted MAGA movement. The decline isn't going to be reversed by angry, gray-haired folks demanding abortion bans and "don't say gay" bills.

         While we can never count on Republicans to defeat themselves, neither should we overestimate the strength of our opponent. The current wave of anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ legislation across the nation is being driven by a shrinking minority of religious extremists who appear to be driving people away from their church with their politics. That fact should help us maintain perspective about our prospects for success in reversing the wave of hate-based legislation sweeping the nation.

Personality:  Bridget is adventurous and bold. She has a strong sense of equality, often understanding and sympathetic when listening to their problems. She's generally honest although not open-ended, she can be blunt and hurtful at times but will do everything to make up to the person she hurt.

She's a passionate individual. Every challenge she does is meet with enthusiasm, something she shares with her cousin. Bridget is forget, forgive, and move on rather quickly, seeing holding grudges a waste of time, but there some exceptions such as disrespecting her. family and friends and cheating of any kind. Her ex cheated on her, she was so furious she was tempt to burn his house if Shoyo didn’t intervene, instead she burned his bike.

Bridget is rather motherly, a trait she gained from taking care of her younger brother and sometimes her cousins. But there are times she can’t help but tease them.

She’s intelligent but can still fall victim in some things, such as spelling eyes.

She’s remarkably persuasive, a talent she uses to get her and her friends out of trouble. But she’ll never exploit it.

i think the thing to focus on with regards to the 2024 presidential race is not necessarily something that should scare us as much as it should motivate us to get involved in canvassing/phonebanking/letter writing, etc.

there will be people turning out in november who have not voted in a single election between 2020 and 2024. a lot of these people are trump voters who otherwise don't show up when he's not on the ballot.

right now though, there are a lot of "normie" moderate people unenthusiastic about biden but not yet completely convinced it'll be trump/biden (most voters are not highly engaged in elections this early on, and the "reporting" on this is basically clickbait - the media needs this shit to be relevant). the disaffected - not the extremely online left, but the people who are likely to stumble across misinformation online and not think twice about it - are the people that need to come back into the fold for biden to win.

the media and information environment right now is the biggest issue. biden's biggest weakness in my eyes is that he doesn't boast about his own accomplishments nearly enough, but his major campaign speeches so far are exactly the message he should be leading with and maybe the most aggressively anti-maga speeches he's made so far. the trump movement is maybe about 30% of the country, significantly represented in deep red states. the rest of us are fucking exhausted and want these extremists to disappear once and for all.

we desperately need to stay hopeful and also read between the lines when it comes to punditry and campaign trail reporting on this. this race is honestly extremely predictable and boring so far. a lot of the media just desperately wants a narrative that gets views and clicks. and "biden's too old and misspoke so that makes him senile" while "trump said some crazy shit again let us broadcast it for all to hear" and "his diehards are crazy but passionate" is absolutely that.

(also maybe this is just my own spin, but in recent photos, trump looks more haggard than i've ever seen him.)

Extremist fundamentalists of different religions seem to have more in common with each other than they do with moderates of the same faith. They are invariably intolerant control freaks who feel they have the right to impose their wills on others. MAGA Mike Johnson would fit in well with Iran's theocrats.

Since his fellow Republicans made him their leader, numerous articles have reported Johnson’s religiously motivated, far-right views on abortion, same-sex marriage and LGBTQ+ rights. But that barely scratches the surface. Johnson was a senior lawyer for the extremist Alliance Defending Fund (later the Alliance Defending Freedom) from 2002 to 2010. This is the organization responsible for orchestrating the 303 Creative v Elenis legal arguments to obtain a ruling from the supreme court permitting a wedding website designer to refuse to do business with gay couples. It also played a significant role in annulling Roe v Wade. The ADF has always been opposed to privacy rights, abortion and birth control. Now Roe is gone, the group is laying the groundwork to end protection for birth control. Those who thought Roe would never be overruled should understand that the reasoning in Dobbs v Jackson is not tailored to abortion. Dobbs was explicitly written to be the legal fortress from which the right will launch their attacks against other fundamental rights their extremist Christian beliefs reject. They are passionate about rolling back the right to contraception, the right to same-sex marriage and the right to sexual privacy between consenting adults. Johnson’s inerrant biblical truth leads him to reject science. Johnson was a “young earth creationist”, holding that a literal reading of Genesis means that the earth is only a few thousand years old and humans walked alongside dinosaurs. He has been the attorney for and partner in Kentucky’s Creation Museum and Ark amusement park, which present these beliefs as scientific fact, a familiar sleight of hand where the end (garnering more believers) justifies the means (lying about science). For them, the end always justifies the means. That’s why they don’t even blink when non-believers suffer for their dogma.

There was recently a big experiment in rejecting science with the far right campaigning against COVID-19 vaccinations. That may have cost hundreds of thousands of lives in the US. MAGA Mike would like to apply that to all sectors of life in the US.

Setting aside all of these wildly extreme, religiously motivated policy preferences, there is a more insidious threat to America in Johnson’s embrace of scriptural originalism: his belief that subjective interpretation of the Bible provides the master plan for governance. Religious truth is neither rational nor susceptible to reasoned debate. For Johnson, who sees a Manichean world divided between the saved who are going to heaven and the unsaved going to hell, there is no middle ground. Constitutional politics withers and is replaced with a battle of the faithful against the infidels. Sound familiar? Maybe in Tehran or Kabul or Riyadh. But in America?

By doing anything other than voting Democratic in an election (i.e. voting Republican, wasting a vote on a loser third party, writing in a dead gorilla, not voting at all) people help pave the way for a fascist theocracy in the US.

Speaker MAGA Mike Johnson is already second in line for the presidency. That is WAY too close.

Voting may not always be convenient but theo-fascism is far less convenient.

BREAKING: Donald Trump implies that his MAGA supporters will carry out another violent insurrection or perhaps even terrorist attacks if Special Counsel Jack Smith try to put him in jail.

During an interview with right-wing hack Doug Wagner, Trump was asked if he's concerned about the possibility of Smith locking him up for his crimes.

"I think it’s a very dangerous thing to even talk about because we do have a tremendously passionate group of voters, much more passion than they had in 2020 and much more passion than they had in 2016," said Trump.

The implication could not be more clear. By "passionate" he really means "willing to use violence." By saying that they have "much more passion" than they did in 2020, he's saying that the next insurrection will be even worse than Jan. 6th.

This is where the Republican Party has gotten us. We are now so far into the gutter that their leading candidate for president is threatening to unleash bloodshed if he's held accountable for his crimes in a court of law.

We will not be intimidated. Donald Trump belongs in prison. If his supporters resort to violence to try to stop that, the Justice Department will lock every single one of them up like they did with the Capitol insurrectionists.

In economia viene chiamata esternalità l’effetto che le azioni di consumo o di produzione di un soggetto ha sugli altri soggetti. Anche un parcheggio fatto male, per esempio quando trovate una macchina piazzata in mezzo tra due posti, crea una esternalità negativa. Chi arriva dopo non riesce a parcheggiare né in uno né nell’altro posto. Il famosissimo caffè sospeso a Napoli è un tipico esempio di esternalità positiva. Chi prende il caffè al bar e decide di lasciarne uno pagato regala un sorriso e un caffè ad un’altra persona. La fabbrica di Gentilini che sta sulla tiburtina a Roma sforna biscotti a catena e succede che se passi vicino senti quest’odore di biscotti nell’aria, è un’esternalità, per me che c’ho lavorato accanto per due anni ad un certo punto da positiva è diventata negativa, dopo qualche mese quell’odore mi faceva venire voglia di strapparmi via il naso a morsi, ma datosi anatomicamente impossibile allora ho desistito.

Non è facile gestire le esternalità e visto che ne ho già scritto e anche abbondantemente sul mio altro tumblr anni fa, oggi volevo solo dirvi questa cosa qui che sto per dirvi.

Ho una vicina, su cui dovrei scrivere molto, ma mi limito a dire che vive con altre quattro persone, tutte adulte e oltre e lei si occupa del bucato di tutti, perché, salvo le due anziane, il marito e la figlia evidentemente sono nati senza mani, ma sorvoliamo. La mia vicina ha la lavatrice fuori casa, sul retro e sul retro ha anche il lavatoio che, dio solo sa come mai, usa in continuazione con una certa passione. Questa mia vicina fa una lavatrice al giorno, almeno, e la fa sempre la mattina presto, questo comporta che dalle mie finestre esposte verso casa sua, ogni mattina entra un piacevole odore di ammorbidente e dura tutto il giorno e io la consideravo una esternalità positiva, mi dicevo che meno male che sta povera disgraziata c’ha da lavare per un esercito ad ogni rotazione terrestre, io mi sveglio ogni mattina con un bellissimo odore che mi accoglie e che profumo e che cazzo di ammorbidente usa e quanto cazzo ne usa? Glielo devo chiedere. He Has to Come Home (Kiribaku x Reader)

His death hit you the hardest. 

The long barb like wires piercing his skin as you watched Dynamite hit the ground with a thud. He and the heroes were fighting Shigaraki as he had just awoken from his lumber. The sounds of screams escaping your lips as you watched from the television your boyfriend, no your fiance, die right before you. Tears streaming down your face as you shook with anger, with hate, as you wished you could do something, anything to be there to heal your pro hero. 

Dynamite being the only hero who also knew about Deku’s quirk had told you to stay behind as it wasn’t going to be safe, yeah, sure, he wanted to fight alongside you, but you were still trying to get your license and without you couldn’t fight like he and the others in classroom 1-A could. You were useless.

“Y/N! Are you okay?! I heard screaming!” Your roommate and best friend, Masaaki, asked as she came bursting through your bedroom door. 

“No! I need to go! I need to help them!” You cried as you started to scramble to your feet as you didn’t realize you had fallen to your feet. Your eyes still blurry as you were trying to find your wallet, your keys, anything to help you move from the spot you were sitting at.

“You can’t! You know if you help there’s a high chance you’ll get hurt and you don’t even have your license so fighting you could cause more harm to yourself and possibly them. Do you want that?” Masaaki questioned as you whimpered, afraid your fiance was dying right before your eyes. 

“No, but I hate watching this! All of the Pros are out there risking their lives trying to stop the villains from coming further, but here I sit watching my fiance die because I can’t do anything! Why can’t I do something!” You spoke out loud hoping some god or goddess from above would answer you. The tv still going as they kept flashing back to Dynamite who was laying on the ground. Blood pooled around him as Deku kept fighting. Long black whip-like things spewing from his mouth as his arms were broken from the many blows he had done.

“Because it isn’t our job…” Masaaki said as those weren’t the words you wanted to hear, “Everything will be okay… we just have to hope the heroes will do something. I’m sure Katsuki is fine… He has to be fine… right?” Masaaki was now watching the tv as she knew now why you were freaking out. Your fiance was gone. He wasn’t moving. Dynamite was dead.

“God I can’t believe you like him… why him of all people?” 

“I think he’s super cute! Sure he’s pretty hot headed and can’t keep his mouth shut, but the way he’s passionate about things drives me wild! It's like him and I are dreaming the same thing! We both want to be heroes! It's what our lives were meant to be!”

Masaaki rolled her eyes as you and her were out Christmas shopping. You and Masaaki were trying to get the last few gifts together as Deku was throwing a party at his dorm building to celebrate. You didn’t really like the holidays but ever since you started crushing on Bakugo the holiday season holidays just seemed to shine brighter now that he was in your life. 

“Even so, Bakugo is a lot to handle… I would hate to see my best friend get hurt because she didn’t listen to me.”

It was your turn to roll your eyes, “Whatever…” and you both finished your holiday shopping.

“Stupid! Get out of the way!” Bakugo shouted as he and Deku were sparring in the training room. You had decided to study some of the other students in classroom 1-A as your quirk was very helpful to them. 

“Sorry! Sorry!” You said as you moved to the left hoping to get out of the fight and into a better area. You were healing Deku and Bakugo as they fought, but as you got closer to the two of them it became sorta hard as Bakugo’s exploding quirk hit you making you fly about fifty feet into the air.

“See I told you to get out of the way!” Bakugo shouted as he blasted himself up into the air and caught you. Your eyes met for like a split second and in that moment you knew you were meant to be.

“I s-said I was-s sorry… I just couldn’t reach De-eku in time when you blasted.” 

Bakugo tched as you and him landed safely on the ground. Your arms still wrapped around his neck as he hadn’t placed you down. His calloused hands were still holding you in his arms as you wanted to be put down and away from him, but for some odd reason Bakugo wasn’t letting you go.

“Well, be careful next time. If you got any closer I could have burned you and… I would have hated that…” Bakugo said a bit softer as if he was only talking to you and no one else. His eyes were staring out forwards as he wasn’t staring at you, but for some odd reason you knew he was talking to you and only you.

“Are you sure you want to ask her out man? I mean isn’t she seeing someone?” Kirishima said as he and Bakugo were working out. 

“Yeah, I’m going to ask her out. I don’t care if she’s seeing someone or not! I have to make her mine! I just have too!” Bakugo said as he was doing his push ups just a little bit faster than normal. 

“Well, then let’s do it together. I know our little ray of sunshine would be happy with us if we both ask her out. I know when I asked you out, Bakubro, I was nearly drenched in sweat.” Kirishima said as he finished his rep. 

“Yeah, and you nearly ripped out of your clothes because your hardening was happening. It was like you couldn’t control it or something.” Bakugo smirked as he wiped away the sweat and took a drink from his water bottle.

“I was pretty nervous… I didn’t know you liked guys and honestly seeing how you and Y/N act together when on the training ground it just makes me wanna work ten times harder! Like you both are super manly!” Kirishima smiled as Bakugo nodded.

“Then it's settled. We will ask her out tonight.”

“So, are you dating both of them?” Masaaki asked as she was a bit confused on what you were talking about.

“Uh, yeah, they both asked me out and I said yes.” You said as if it was sorta normal.

“And they didn’t get jealous and Blasty didn’t get angry because his BEST FRIEND also asked you out?!” 

You nodded, “They both told me they were sorta seeing each other and when they had talked about it they saw that they both felt something towards me and I towards them. It was like we were all meant to be, ya know?”

Masaaki shook her head, “No, I don’t know and I probably will never know, but if you're happy then I’m happy.” She said as you nodded happily. Your text tone going off as it was Bakugo letting you know dinner was ready and that he and your other boyfriend wanted you to come eat with them.

“I gotta go, duty calls.” You smile as you hugged your bestie goodbye. 

“Awe, okay, see you later.”

“See you.”

“Come on babe… please… please get up…” You whimpered, staring at the tv again. You didn’t see Kirishima around so it meant that he was probably somewhere else in the area helping those who needed it. Tears stinging your eyes as you looked back over at Masaaki and asked, “D-do you think he will make it? I mean he has to make it… He promised he’d come home to me… He has to come home to me….right?”

Masaaki came and gave you a hug, “Right, Dynamite wouldn’t go back on his word. A promise is a promise.” your roommate lied as she saw the future, just like Sir Nighteye she could look into the future and what she saw for you and your boys wasn’t good. It wasn’t good at all.

“Good… because… I have news… news for both of them…” 

Masaaki looked at you as she pulled away just a little, “What’s that?”

“I…” words stuck as you didn’t want to tell her but had too, tears streaming down your cheeks more as you smiled weakly, “I’m pregnant… I’m pregnant with Bakugo’s child…”

hey y’all, sorry for being MIA. I got sick when I went on vacation but I’m home now! Has only cried a handful of times because of movies. Most of those times have been movies he's watched with his sister. But he'll never admit it

He and Natsuo crashed a sled into their father's car one winter, and proceeded to blame five year old Shoto for it...who was inside...with Enji...the entire time.

PHOENIX AU Keigo Takami Fun Facts

Has sponsors from literally every place that sells chicken, but KFC is his place of choice

For one of their first dates, Keigo forced Toya to come along on a search for the "perfect chicken tender" where they ordered from every place and they ranked all of them. Led to a lot of arguments that left both of them crying from laughing so hard about how passionate the other was about their opinion

He owns several matching/complementing outfits with Rumi from their shopping spree days at the academy, and some of them are dresses

If he has the AUX there will be Broadway tunes, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, or classic rock ONLY. With minimal exceptions

He's always playing "I Wanna Party" from Rio unironically when he's getting ready in the morning and has developed a whole song and dance routine to it. occasionally, Toya will do the second verse if he's awake and Rue will do the female vocals. There have been several early dance parties at the PHOENIX Agency, and it's a pain for collaborating heroes when they have to travel team-up for missions

She's a black belt in taekwondo, judo, Krav Maga, and generally kicking ass (BONUS: She has a trophy that says "best at kicking ass" that Toya had made for her as a birthday gift)

She feels guilty for being cold and mean to Toya for so long before they became friends, but she doesn't know how to approach him about it (even though he's left that all behind and doesn't hold it against her)

Her favorite workout playlist artists are Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion

Midnight helped her come to terms with her sexuality with her confidence and unapologetic expression

She's double-jointed, has never taken a steroid (contrary to popular belief in the tabloids), and prides herself on being healthy

PHOENIX AU Ryuko Tatsuma Fun Facts

Her mother used to make her do beauty pageants/contests, and she would win flawlessly every time

She was born into a very wealthy family, but ironically didn't let her riches go to her head until reaching fame

During school, she occasionally ate edibles to calm her nerves as she would obsess over her grades, which is why her parties always had them

She constantly showers Rumi with extravagant gifts, but Rumi considers Ryuko the greatest gift of all

(Not so fun fact and SPOILER) she left Rumi for Uwabami when she dumped her in Chapter 40

During their entire first year, Shinji was absolutely terrified of Toya because of their Quirk incompatibility (fire and wood don't mix)

He secretly had a slight crush on Rumi for a couple years, which is another reason why Yu never liked Rumi

He and Amari used to make conspiracy boards in the common room whenever they got high

He has acted as a getaway driver for a number of Toya's antics (he's the only person that doesn't make Toya carsick when he drives)

He scored the highest in Hero/Civilian/Villain Psychology during their Second and Third Years
