During the Beast Wars, we know there was a unit of Maximal soldiers that made up of horse Transformers called the Thoroughbred Corps. Were there any other Maximal/Predacon units that consists of members sharing the same beast mode? What were they called and what were their purpose?

The Convoy Council was often advised by a group of specialist tacticians who had taken cetacean modes in order to better carry their massive brain modules. As terrestrial forms would render them slow and easy targets for Predacon infiltrators, “The Pod”, AKA “Sink Tank” convened deep in Cybertron��s oceans, conveying their plans with encrypted whalesong.

The Pod was led by the morose Dutchman, who transformed into a Minke whale and always planned for the worst. He was kept in better spirits by his advisor, the cheerful beluga Melon. Also notable was the sonic attack specialist and sperm whale, Baleen Wail.
