Okay I know this was supposed to be a one a day until the release of the show thing but hey, I’m a wild card! 

1. Nikolai!

3. Well... Nikolai, of course! But I’ll also say my fave character unique to this duology, Hanne :)

5. Okay so I love the “Not bad looking? He’s damnably handsome. Brave in battle, smart as a whip. An excellent dancer. Oh, and an even better shot,” quote. But one that’s underrated that I want to mention here is Matthias’s, “The life you live, the hate you feel- it’s poison. I can drink it no longer,” which is amazing!! 

6. There’s loads of great fanart out there but if i had to pick one it would be this one. I was blown away the moment I saw it and recently bought a print.

16. that’s a difficult one! Shadow and bone is the only one i’ve read recently and remember well, but it’s also the only one without nikolai :/ i’ll known for certain when i reread Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising, which I haven’t read since 2016! though i think it might be ruin and rising... 

17. hmmm well it depends what your measuring by, but in terms of who’s done the worst stuff, the darkling. 

18. probably kaz! though all their backstories are amazing 

19. hmm zoya’s really well written in the KOS duology, but in terms of who’s the better person and who i like more, definitely genya!

23. Okay there are so many I could mention here but I’m just going to pick a few. Okay the attack on the little palace and Aline taking control of the nichevoya is AMAZING! and I’m saying this as a malina shipper, because even though Alina is kissing the darkling it’s more of a yay go Alina than a yay go darklina moment to me, and its just so dramatic and ahhh! Second, the obisbaya scene in king of scars. And third... just so much stuff from the six of crows Duology, but actually predominantly the flashbacks?? Nina and matthias’s are amazing and kaz’s are heartbreaking... ahhh. But of course there’s also loads of amazing stuff in the actual timeline, particularly Matthias bringing down Brum and getting Nina out of her cell and the stealing the tank of course... I could go on and on but I’ll leave it there for now. Also I’ve not finished rule of wolves yet so even more could be added to the list...
