Possible fic ideas for transformers
So like I have a few ideas for some docs I want to do so I am just gonna voice them here.
Most of these are Megop fic ideas so bare with me.
Megs Reincarnated
So like what if at some point in the war Megatron died but because he was on space crack he couldn’t join the allspark/well so Primus sent his spark to live again in the hopes that over time his spark would be purged overtime. Megs becomes a human woman and eventually meet Optimus. Hijinks ensues.
I also thought about doing a shattered glass version of this as well.
After Primasy
So what if Optimus met Megatron after he became a prime. This was inspired by two fic I saw on Ao3. I can’t remember what they were called but I will write the names when I can.
Miko Plays Cupid
After Miko gets captured by Megs she learns things about before the war but things don’t add up. After she is rescued and asks Op some things she realizes that there were some major misunderstandings that were and still are the cause of the continuing war. So she decided that the best way to resolve this was to play match maker. What could go wrong.
Can You Feel It Shockwave?
What if Shockwaves emotions canes back after an experiment gone wrong? I have a theory that shadowplay didn’t take away everything but left what emotion he had that was strongest, a sick and twisted form of curiosity and everything else was repressed. Then what happens when he gets them back? I plan for this to be very angsty. Can’t comfort them unless they’re broken right?
Twelve Kids, Twelve Primes
What if team prime had twelve kids to care for and through some kind of hijinks they found out that the kids were twelve reincarnated primes.
Some smaller fic ideas include
G1 bots finding out humans have valves/spikes
Bots finding out about car washes
Miko being a little troublemaker and adopting all the vehicons
Soundwave making a soundboard
Stabby by the roomba. Enough said.
Bots finding out about nuclear weapons and atom bombs.
Bots finding out humans can feel when you look at them.
Now if you want to use any of theses all I ask is that you tag or tell me so I can look over the counter as you use my fic recipes to create delicious fics that I will grab and consume like a feral animal.

Note
tell us more abt ur shockwave!!!!! pretty please. I saw the previous tags on the eepy post and u said he's the nicest ever. now im even more inclined to give him hugs
Sure! ⬇️⬇️
Here's some pre-war Shockwave lore:
Shockwave was originally a senator (I'm still figuring out in what city), but his mind was rarely focused on his job. His dream was to be a scientist, not a senator (since jobs were chosen for Cybertronians). He would often skip work just to work on his experiments that only Soundwave and later on, Orion Pax knew about. His works and experiments all had the same goal, making Cybertron a better/equal place to live in. And since he worked with/close to Cybertron's government, he knew about most conflicts/issues on Cybertron.
Early years of war Shockwave lore:
During the begining of the war, Shockwave's experiments were exposed to the public after autobots finding out he was allies with the newly formed group which were nameless at the time (the deceptions). With his experiments out in the open, many autobots were angered and thought of them as dark science since Shockwave kept them hidden. Ever since, he was considered a mad scientist that had to be captured. He was hunted down by bounty hunter Lockdown, which at the time, was an autobot. He was found in a burning down factory carrying a newly forged cybertronian who was abandoned. Because of this, the autobots accused him of stealing sparklings just to experiment on them. He was then given the punishment of empurata, with extra weapons and parts just so that he would have to "carry the weight of his crimes".
After Empurata lore:
After the punishment, Shockwave, with his newly formed emotionless mind, k!lled the group of bots who performed the punishment on him. He later on escaped and hid in the wastelands where he worked tirelessly day and night trying to find any way of restoring his memories and emotions. He wasn't seen for years after that.
So y'all might be wondering, how did he join the 'cons?
The deceptions at this time we're trying to build ships to escape cybertron and hopefully find a better place to regroup and start their own Cybertron. Luckily, Megatron stumbled across the place Shockwave was hiding in. At first, he didn't recognize Shockwave due to the massive change in appearence because of the empurata. Shockwave had just invented a cure for his memory loss and it was just kicking in so he still didn't remember much so he attacked Megatron. During the battle, the cure finally kicked in and his memories came back to him. After some apologies and etc. Megatron asked him to join his team as the scientist. Shockwave agreed.
Shockwave now:
Shockwave usually spends his time in his lab inside the Nemesis. He's a really nice guy since he has his memories/emotions back. He's found ways of making the empurata punishment more bearable for him, as well as finding out how he can remove parts and rebuild his body. But with the lack of materials, he can't do much. Lockdown's a decepticon now, and he's apologized for what he did in the past. Shockwave isn't entirely sure wether to trust him or not though, so he keeps his distance.
He is a big hugger though, careful he doesn't break you. :)
Tumblr media
Some additional info:
-He's around 70-75 in robot years. (I've been adjusting their ages)
-His alt most is kinda like the TFP one
-Blitzwing hates him (since he's had some trauma w/ scientists before)
-Pronouns: he/him
-The little sparkling he rescued was Thrust, and after joining the decepticons, he decided to take care of her (yeah Thrust's a she :]) so that someday he can prove to the autobots that he only meant good intentions that day.
That's kinda what I'm brainstorming so far lmao 💀
(I'm also thinking of maybe during the Empurata, Soundwave and Megatron try to save him but he attacks them too before he runs off idk lmao)

Heya! ^^ Could we get a one shot of how Optimus found Bumblebee? It's be so cute.
This drabble was in fact supposed to be max, 800 words
It is now double that.
KINDRED
It has been said that since the start of life on Cybertron, since the Well of AllSparks first ignited, that there is an instinctual pull between familial units.
Known as the Tether, this pull, string, whatever have you, is what brings together sparklings and caretakers.
That when gazing upon one another, they just…know.
That this is a gift from Primus, from the 13 who gave themselves to the Well, and from the universe itself.
The Tether brings them together as a sign that ‘I am yours, as you are mine. Spark of my Spark,’ as some ancient traditions went.
But when the war began, the Well and many of its hotspots began to cool down. It was as if the planet itself was trying to protect itself, and the future sparks to come. To prevent loss of lives that had yet to be lived at all.
And just like that, one day…
They went out.
No more sparklings born of the Well.
No Forged to be born, and the few sparklings found, were guarded heavily by both factions.
They knew better than to kill any innocent souls, unaligned. But there were also the extremists, who used that to send a message.
So, patrols began, around these now dormant places.
With the hope that perhaps….there were still lives out there, to be saved.
It was a grave and solemn duty, to go on these patrols.
Not many took them, not because they did not wish to, but because few had the spark to truly handle the things they would see, when walking to the cooled hotspots, where sadly…not many living sparklings remained.
And where they would often return with, at best, another to bury, and return to Primus far too soon.
It made many a bots’ Spark ache.
It was mainly the medics and a few of the war frames which would take these patrols. Those that could save the lives of a sparkling, or offer a shield as they made their way out.
Optimus had been insistent on joining many of these patrols. No one could blame him, he was the most gentle sparked of them all, and would mourn the loss of the ones they found too late.
And yet still, despite every single patrol, no matter how saddening they could be, he still went.
Ratchet had insisted he take a break, but none could deny the Prime, when he merely shook his head, and his mask slid into place as he prepared to lead the rescue squadron once more.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
None could recall what the name of the sector they were in was, long turned to rubble by the time the war had started.
It was once a bustling marketplace, or so they assumed, from the now torn apart plaza they stood in.
The hotspot had been ice cold to the touch, no sparks to be found anywhere.
Yet, though others had insisted on moving out, after distant sightings of Seekers, Optimus has chosen to continue surveying.
He sent everyone else back, save for Ratchet, who refused the order from his superior.
‘’You may require a medic, be it for yourself…or for the sparklings you may find, if Primus wills it’’ had been his explanation.
Optimus could not disagree with this statement. He had sent a message to Elita, knowing he would perhaps worry her, having not returned with the rest of the patrol.
Assuring her they were fine, he simply stated that himself and Ratchet were taking one last look before heading back–
The crashing of what sounded like one of the booths caused him to end his communication quickly, glancing at the medic with a small frown. A nod from the medic, both prepared their weapons, as they headed to the source of the sound.
It was odd, however. The Prime felt a certain pull, something leading him, nagging at him even, and it seemed Ratchet had noticed this, as he called out to Optimus, when suddenly a portion of the ruined plaza tumbled down from above onto them both.
It was harmless, thank the AllSpark, just worn canvas cloth banners that had once decorated the market, and a few scattered pieces of metal sheeting that had served as roofing long ago.
Sure, it was rather annoying, but all that came from it was just some dust they would need to clean off, and nothing more.
The question was, what had caused it? Was there someone there perhaps , an enemy or–
He could have sworn, out of the corner of his field of vision, he saw a blur of color, for a moment but-
Ah. There it was, that nagging tug once again.
Stiffening slightly, Optimus turned, looking over his shoulder.
‘’Is everything alright, Optimus?”
Yet Ratchet received no reply, as the leader of the Autobots instead walked towards a crumbling structure.
Perhaps a home, long ago at some point or another?
Confused, the medic simply followed after his commander, watching the Prime duck down to walk through the mostly collapsed doorway, and holding it even for Ratchet, but never looking back at the medic.
It was like something was calling to him, something Ratchet himself did not feel there.
Perhaps it was the Matrix, a mysterious relic of the Primes long past, that made his leader act this way.
He didn’t have time to ponder for long however, as the medic had to quickly dodge a projectile coming at them.
Or rather, would have dodged, had Optimus not caught the offending item, which was…
A rock?
A raised brow, Optimus allowed his mask to slip back, before looking in the direction of where the item had come from…
And looked down, optics wide as he felt something snap into place in that moment.
There they were. The reason for the pull.
It was the Tether.
And it had pulled him right to where , or rather who, needed him.
A sparkling, of sunshine yellow, with small bumps along his helm that resembled horns, and winglets on his back, was hidden in a corner of the ruined building, holding a makeshift slingshot, and a pile of rocks at his side.
He looked terrified of the towering Prime before him, holding up the slingshot, servos shaking as he aimed.
In an instant, Optimus knelt down, lowering as much as possible and showing his servos free of all weapons or ill intent.
Which, had seemed to do the trick, as the young bot shakily put down the makeshift weapon of his.
So small…not a Newly-Forged, but at the very least a Smithing spark…
By the AllSpark, how long had he been by himself like this? Had there been anyone caring for him at all?
‘’It is alright, young one…we mean no harm’’ he whispered, voice low and soft, so to not frighten him. Primus, did his own Spark sing, as he saw the little one’s optics blink owlishly up at him, before slowly standing up.
Offering an open servo to the sparkling, Optimus offered a kind smile.
The sunshine sparkling looked at the Prime's servos, up at him, then once again at his servos, nervously.
Tentatively, he reached out, putting his own tiny servo in that of the larger mech.
Ratchet watched all of this in awe, off to the side, and kneeling down as well, getting his medical kit out slowly and quietly as possible.
“Have you a name, young one?” inquired Optimus, and the sparkling shook his head, but tapped a marking on his forearm plating.
B-127, a Spark-Carer's designation clearly. So he must have at one point indeed been in the care of someone, or perhaps some sort of facility.
“B-127? Is that what you are called?”
A nod, he saw a small glimmer in the sparklings's eyes.
His winglets bobbed in almost excitement, and Optimus felt how his Spark sang with pure elation, as he felt it all snap into place.
He had been called here, for this young spark.
For his sparkling, one last gift from Primus.
After a brief look over by Ratchet, who noted that B-127 required some further attention yet minor and to refuel, Optimus looked to the young bot with a warmth in his gaze.
“Well…it would appear then, that you will be coming with us, if that is what you wish to–”
Optimus did not have time to finish that sentence, as B-127 quickly jumped into the arms of the Prime, with a slight hum of joy, his EM fields practically bubbling with joy that could be felt by both commander and medic.
There was no doubt in his mind then.
Though it was not the way he had hoped for him to become a caregiver, Optimus Prime would not turn down this final gift from Primus and the Well.
This little one was his.
And that is all he needed to know.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a sight to behold, truly, thought many soldiers.
The Last of the Primes, once Orion Pax, returned from what could have been another fruitless patrol for surviving sparklings.
It usually left him so solemn and quiet.
And now, here he was walking in, holding a young one who's paint was the color of golden amber, and who's beaming smile as he was held in the Prime's arms rivaled the sun itself.
And his laugh, Primus, his gleeful laugh as his newfound caretaker bounced him oh so gently in his arms.
It was a small mercy, but it brought so much peace to the worn soldiers of this war.
To see someone so innocent, and so joyful, in a time like this…
To see the start of a family.
When Elita-1 caught sight of the Prime and his- no their- newfound sparkling, she felt like she was flying, spark soaring at the welcoming sight.
Because if only for these small hours, these little wonders, they were a family.
B-127 reached out for the rose-hued femme instantly upon seeing her, squealing gleefully, and they knew that their Tether had surely been forged of platinum, the way Elita swooped in and took him from her beloved’s arms without hesitation.
For in that moment, in the war, for a few hours of what was to be centuries of hardship, they were at peace, they were whole, and there was the sound of gleeful laughter.
From Elita, listening to Ratchet’s story about this sparkling who had almost nailed him with a rock.
From Ratchet, as B-127 gasped in awe of the Energon candies handed to him as a reward for being well behaved in his check up.
From Optimus, as he saw this sunny little bot running around the base, greeting everyone, and wanting to learn who they all were.
And from B-127, who would go on to be named ‘Bumblebee’, as his caregiver scooped him up in his arms, and would bring out a squealing, joyous giggle as he hugged him close.
Fate would not be kind to this family, as time would go on.
But just for these small few hours, they would get to enjoy each other’s presence without fear.

The Rescue Bot Massacre
The Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy were a true neutral in the war. They would help either side after a battle, offering aid and energon to the soldiers. After one battle however, the Protectobots had descended on a battle field after the battle was over. They went about leading their other teams to help the different sides. Blades had found Soundwave, who was trying to keep Buzzsaw alive after a devastating blow. Blades immediately helped Soundwave and Buzzsaw, but as he was fixing them up, Megatron approached the group.
"What is the meaning of this? Why are you helping the Autobots."
Blades was obviously taken aback by this, but kept his eyes on the repairs.
"We're Rescue Bots. We help anyone and everyone, no matter the fraction."
Megatron's face after that was unreadable, even Soundwave was confused. Megatron had stormed off after that, and neither bot acknowledged it further.
In the cycles following that interaction, Megatron had issued a statement to all Decepticons that they were to not trust the Rescue Bots. Due to their neutrality during the war, they were inherently traitors of the cause and must be destroyed.
Fearing for their city and students' safety, the Protectobots (Alpha team 1 and 2) made the call to join the Autobot forces as Protectobots, not Rescue Bots. They also reached out to their allies in Vos, who at that time were also a neutral force to the war. Together, between the Protectobots, Vos, and their new allies of the early Autobots, they were able to keep Decepticon forces at bay from destroying Rescue City. Even when Vos eventually fell to the Decepticons, the Wreckers were able to fill their place.
However, when Alpha team 1, the original Protectobots, fell at Tagan Heights, that security over Rescue City fell as well. Megatron did not attack right as they fell. It took several Vorns in fact before the Decepticons attacked the city. Alpha team 2, which consisted of Skyfeather, Heatrock, Rook, and Medix, had to take over governing the city and protecting it in the wake of their Parensnatales' death.
When the Decepticon forces finally attacked the city, Skyfeather was their first contact. All of the students had been evacuated into underground bunkers. The Alpha teams were the only ones on the surface level, ready to defend their homes.
"Surrender the Rescue Bot forces to the Decepticons, or prepare to be taken by force."
Megatron stood in front of Skyfeather, as she stood between him and the academy.
"My Adsero built this academy from the grounds up with his gestalt. I will not allow you to take that away from him. You'd have to kill me first."
Skyfeather's death marked the start of the Rescue Bot Massacre. The rest of the Alpha teams followed, before the lower bunkers were breached. Anyone who refused to join was slaughtered.
By the dawn of the next day, the remaining Autobot forces on Cybertron finally arrived, communication having been cut during the start of the Massacre. The Wreckers were the first there, being greeted by the blood shed. Any Rescue Team that were not present in the city were hunted in the following cycles. In all, anywhere from 472-714 Rescue Bots and Rescue Bot recruits were slaughtered in this attack.
The only ones left, were a small Sigma ship, floating in stasis in deep space.

ok in that longass rescue bots headcanons list i made this one headcanon ive been dying to talk about, which is that i think quickshadow was part of elita one’s squadron on cybertron, and that the group has since been disbanded. my reasoning:
to me, since optimus and ultra magnus are both in tfp, it feels natural to assume elita exists. i dont think she’s dead, although perhaps the war bots think she is, similar to how they thought shockwave was.
also, since shockwave’s backstory is similar to his in g1 i’m doing the same for elita’s. just like in g1, she and her squad of lesbians girlbosses stayed on cybertron to hold down autobot territory, and to fight shocky.
anyway elita's team in g1 seemed to specialize in espionage and close combat, which is what quickshadow does. she would fit right in with the group. as a highly trained warrior and someone who is personally close to optimus, her having a past with elita one and in the war makes sense.
i think quickshadow was definitely a rescue bot first, but presumably as the war took off she allied herself with the autobots. at the rescue academy she trained as a special ops bot, which helped her survive whatever happened to the other rescue bots, and eventually led her to win the favor of autobot high command. this lead to her rapidly climbing the ranks until she served alongside elita one.
at some point in my mind the team was disbanded, either because of lack of resources or they split up to become smaller groups or join other teams. quickshadow became a proper undercover agent, the one we see in the show. by then it's clear optimus trusts her, as he arranged for her vehicle scan, gave her tech to hijack groundbridges, and let her keep her rescue bots insignia. she also was constantly changing names and identities, so she's been undercover a lot. this level of trust hints at a personal history, like her being close to elita.
quickshadow is also a solo agent by the time we meet her, again showing she's highly respected and trusted by optimus, and presumably other members of autobot high command. optimus put a lot of work into keeping the rescue bots secret and safe, but quickshadow has clearly been a part of the war for a very long time, possibly since the beginning. hightide was optimus's friend since the early days, so it could be possible for quickshadow to have known elita or optimus before everything. that would explain the freedom she has that no other character is given.
anyways yeah new lore, if you guys wanna know more abt this just ask! (please ask i can rant abt my lore and theories for hours)

your papa prime head cannons are spot on! Though I wonder what papa prime would do if and when he realizes that his autobots/kids are like his sparklings (btw I love your writing style!)
Aww, thank you for the kind words. I love this so here a short story about how I think he would discover that he is running sire protocol aka
Optimus realizes he is now a dad.
Optimus fluff
Words: 817
It was a quiet day in the base, the entire week was for the bots relatively peaceful the cons didn’t try to destroy the earth yet again and the kids were out using the holidays to go visit family. Miko was in Tokyo visiting her parents and catching up with friends, Raf and his family went to Mexico for his cousins Quinceañera and to catch up and even Jack and his mom went on a trip to Canada to visit Junes Sister.
The bots used the rare tranquillity, in different ways, Arcee went out more training her parkour skills, Bumblebee visit the Griffin Rock stationed Rescue Team. Meanwhile Bulkhead joined Wheeljack on a “space adventure” and even Ratchet allowed himself to rest more and work on some project of his. Truly a perfect time to relax before the storm comes again and the efforts to end the war start anew.
And yet Optimus could not sit still, since the beginning of the week his frame has been acting up. It started with the itching of his plating as if nanoticks are biting into his mesh, then his fans and vents acted up leaving him sometimes unable to move from the cold or borderline delirious from the heat. When parts of his frame started to move, like his right leg transforming, making him stumble into his work desk he had enough.
“Old friend, could I ask for your expertise?”
“Oh? What a rare occasion to find you willingly come into the medbay. To what do I owe this pleasure of your visit Optimus?”
“My frame has been acting up in various ways and I can not fathom on what may have caused this.”
“Well then let’s get you checked out come on take a seat.”
Optimus did as instruct while Ratchet readied the scans to run a complete diagnostic on his frame. With the last scan complete a frown made its way onto Ratchets face plate.
“Well Optimus physically there is nothing wrong with your frame, everything is in working order, energy levels are good. But what concerns me is your spark activity, normally it is in a very calm even lower compared to the others due to the influence of the matrix, but your current scan shows a hyperactivity, like you’re in a high stress situation.”
“Curios, I have never felt like this before.”
“Hmn, well let me run a protocol diagnostic scan maybe one of your battle protocols activated or is damaged. Lay down, go into power-down and I’ll see what I can find.”
“Very well, Ratchet.”
Laughter is what rose the Prime out of his power down, as his optics finally onlined he was met with the sight of Wheeljack laughing, Arcee getting a packet of rust sticks from both Bumblebee and Bulkhead and Ratchet standing on the side shaking his head in disapproval, before realizing Optimus woke up.
“Well Optimus, I have found the cause of your well, functioning problems, so I ran the protocol diagnostic scan and in good news all of your battle protocols are in perfect working order, matter of fact all of your protocols are working fine.”
“Then what would cause my flare-ups, old friend?”
“Well like I said all of your protocols are running fine and well-“
“Ha, your running sire protocol Prime, oh I never thought I see the day. Oh this is too good.”
“WHEELJACK!”
A very angry shout followed by the sound of a wretch making contact with a piece of metal, the piece of medal being Wheeljacks helm. Letting out a puff of air through his vents, Ratchet turned back around to face Optimus.
“What he said is true though, your sire protocols are running and that on overdrive.”
That day, at that time, something happened which has never happened before and will probably never happen again. Optimus was lost for words.
“But this doesn’t seem plausible I am not with a sparking neither have…I…adopted…one…”
A look of realisation crossed over the Primes features.
“The children.”
“Yes, Optimus your spark has formed a spark bond with each of the children and seeing the effect it has of you they, though most unknowingly, accepted it and with that you as their sire.”
“When are the children coming back?”
“Soon Optimus, Raf is as far as I know already on his way back, they will arrive tomorrow.”
“And Miko told me she takes the plane from Tokyo tomorrow.” Bulkhead added.
“Jack and his mom should arrive either today late in the night or tomorrow morning to noon.” Arcee mentioned offhandedly.
“Well I believe it is in the best od interest to wait until all of them arrive and see how we will proceed from there. I will excuse myself then I will see you tomorrow.”
With that Optimus exited the medbay not seeing the knowing smirk on his medics faceplate.

He's my son, not yours! Part 1
Part 2
This is based on a Transformers Rescue Bots crossover with Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes created by the brilliant @gelu-the-babosa-multiversal, check them out for more! This particular story is based on a discussion we've been having recently, hope you enjoy!
After meeting the Rescue Bots, Charlie never thought his and his kids' lives couldn't get more...exciting. They already had their hands full of between rogue or malfunctioning technology, a colorful collection of criminals, and of course, civilians who needed rescuing.
But then the Avengers, Earth's mightiest heroes, showed up at Griffin Rock.
They had temporary stationed themselves in a small base and their boss, Nick Fury, who had actually aided Optimus in introducing the bots to Charlie in the first place, didn't give Chief much information on why they were, just that hopefully it wouldn't negatively impact the island.
So far, things to be fine, they were aware of the bots, so that was nice, and they seemed to get along with the Burns and the Greenes.
One of them in particular, Captain America, especially left an impression on Cody. The boy always seemed to want to be around him, always had stars in his eyes at the sight of the war hero, and the captain always seemed more than ready to give the boy the attention he wanted. It was amazing how well the bonded in the short amount of time they've known each other.
It wasn't long until most people started calling him the Captain's kid. Steve nor Cody seemed to be mind though. In fact, it's been rumored that Captain America actually loves it when hearing Cody being called his kid.
If Charlie didn't know any better, he would've thought the captain was trying to be a second father to Cody.
"Hey, Cap!" Tony, AKA Iron Man, exclaimed. "Your sidekick's here!"
"My what?" Captain American, also known as Steve Rogers, asked in confusion.
"Captain America!" Cody's voice echoed through the base. Steve smiled as he saw the young boy run towards.
"Cody!" The captain greeted. "It's great to see you again. What brings you back here?"
"Cody wanted to see you again." His father, Chief Burns responded. "And Fury wanted to speak with the bots and the rest of the team about something. Is it okay if Cody stays with you until it's over?"
Steve nodded with a smile. "Of course, Chief Burns. I don't mind at all."
The police chief smiled back. "Thank you, Captain. Shouldn't take too long." Then he faced his son. "Be on your best behavior, Cody."
"I promise, Dad!" Cody, promised. Then Chief walked off to wherever the meeting was being held.
"Hey, kid." Tony called out. "Wanna join in a little experiment I'm working on? I can guarantee it'll be more exciting than whatever Cap can do." Steve rolled his eyes, recognizing the teasing tone in Stark's voice. Tony already knew what Cody's answer would be.
"Thanks, Mr. Stark, but I'll stay with Captain Rogers." Cody replied. "We're going to-"
"No need to hear the detail's, kid." Tony interrupted. Steven frowned at the interruption, but Cody didn't seem to mind. "Just go have fun and don't give the old man a hard time."
"Let's go, Cody." Steve declared, then he led Cody away before Stark could say anything else.
"Are we still going to work on your motorcycle?" Cody asked eagerly.
Steve smiled and nodded. "Indeed, son. Your dad ever have you help him with car maintenance?"
"A little bit, at first." Cody admitted. "When we had time, he let me help with his old police car. But then the bots joined us, so we don't do that kind of thing anymore. But we do help wash the bots when they're in vehicle mode."
Steve nodded. Admittedly, he was still caught off guard about the idea of sentient vehicles from another planet, but after meeting the bots and hearing about the from Cody and the rest of his family, he could see they were good bots who did their duties as rescue workers well.
"Well, consider this as a way to brush up on those skills." Cap declared. "Then the next time you show your father, he'll know you haven't forgotten what he taught you, and maybe even learned something new."
Cody smiled at the idea. "Yes, sir!"
Fortunately, for the Burns family, the meeting didn't take too long, it was mostly about if they saw anything unusual, at least more unusual than they normally would see, and what they needed to do if they did.
The moment it ended; the older kids wanted to stick around the base a little longer, hoping to hang out with the Avengers for a bit. Unfortunately, they needed to get home as soon as possible.
"Its just still a bit unfair that Cody gets to hang around here, while we can't." Kade grumbled.
Charlie rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry, but today isn't a good day, we have work to do back at home. I promise you can hang around here when there's time."
"Hey, where is Cody?" Graham asked.
"I left him with Captain America while we were at the meeting." Charlie replied. Kade let out a quick annoyed huff, only to be quickly silenced by an elbow in the arm by Dani. "You three head back home. I'll meet you all after I get Cody."
The three did as they were told, leaving the base as Charlie went to look for Cody.
Fortunately, it didn't take long for him to find his son. He was still with Captain America, but the boy was sitting on the captain's motorcycle, revving it up while Steve watched with a smile.
"You've got some competition, Chief." Iron Man's voice popped up out of nowhere.
"What are you taking about?" Charlie asked.
Tony then pointed at Cody and Steve, and both men watched as two blonds laughed about something and Steve ruffling Cody's hair.
"If you're not careful, Cap could take your place as Cody's dad." Tony declared with a teasing grin. "People around here are already saying he's Cap's kid."
Chief Burns rolled his eyes. "I think I'll be fine."
Stark shrugged. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Then he shouted. "Hey, Cap! Time to give the kid back!"
The two blonds looked towards Charlie and Tony. Cody smiled, got off the bike, and rushed to his Dad. "Hey, Dad. How was the meeting?"
Charlie shrugged. "Nothing major happened. You didn't give Captain Rogers any trouble?"
"None at all." Steve replied with a grin as he joined the group. "You've got a well-behaved young man here." He added as he ruffled Cody's hair again. "And a clever one as well. You ought to be proud of this one."
Chief Burns smiled. "Trust me, I am." Then he said to Cody. "Why don't you head outside to meet Chase. I'll join you shortly."
The boy nodded. "Okay, Dad." Then waved to the Captain. "Thanks again, Captain Rogers!" Then he ran off outside.
"Keep up the good work, son." Captain America replied before walking off as well.
"It's already happening." Tony quietly teased.
Charlie rolled his eyes before leaving to join Cody. He knew Tony was teasing, but it was starting to get on his nerves a bit. There was nothing to worry about. Despite the nickname as Captain Roger's kid, Chief Burns knew everyone knew Cody was his son, not Steve's.
Hope you enjoyed reading! Nothing dramatic yet, I want to try to build up to it, but the seeds have been planted, I assure you. Hopefully, you won't have to wait long for the next part to be posted. Wish me luck!

Rescue Bot Elita
Okay, so a while back I had this AU about Elita being a rescue bot as you can probably tell from the title and now that I've finished rewatching RB for the umpteenth time (Did you know Cody was thirteen in season four? I swear I thought he was fifteen), I decided to brush off the old AU.
We start not with Elita, but with Ariel. She's young and unmotivated, unsure of what she wants to do with her life. One day, she ditches class to bug hang out with Swerve at Maccadam's, only to end up trapped in a fire after a bar fight gets too rough. After being saved by Chromia and her team, Ariel suddenly realized what she wanted to do with her life.
After skipping ahead a few years, we come to Ariel's academy days. She and her team train hard and excel at their classes. Heck, Ariel proves to be so good that she's taught how to scan a third mode. She's told not to tell the others how, but she immediately goes back on this and shows one of her teammates.
Eventually, she, along with her classmates Thunderblast, Inferno, Mortar, and Lifeline graduated as Rescue Force Omega-85. At first, everything was coming up roses. They were saving lives, she had met Orion Pax, and she was living the dream. Of course, this is Cybertron, and good things don't last long there.
A mission had gone horribly wrong, leaving Mortar and Lifeline dead. They knew death was always a possibility on the job, but they weren't as prepared as they thought. Inferno and Thunderblast gave up rescue work, eventually joining the Wreckers and the Decepticons respectively. Ariel retired from active duty, instead choosing to teach the newer generations of rescue bots.
Her final group of students before the war finally kicked off were the bots who would later become Rescue Force Sigma-17. She would never claim to have favorites among her students, but these guys were pretty close. Eventually, they too would graduate, but would often come to Ariel for advice. She would later be the last bot to speak with them before they went into stasis.
She wanted to call for search parties, but before she could raise the alarm, the war - which had just been a few skirmishes beforehand - finally began in earnest. She would side with Optimus and his Autobots, but she never forgot her missing students.
Millennia after Cybertron had died, Ariel - now calling herself 'Elita One' - finds her way to Earth and reunites with Optimus. Initially, he asks her to join Team Prime, but stops when he sees the scuffed rescue bot insignia on her shoulder plating. He still asks her to fight, as the Autobots need every capable fighter they can get, but he doesn't ask her to join the team.
Instead, he convinces her to take a position similar to Wheeljack and Hightide where she goes wherever, whether it's helping people or shooting cons. He also makes sure she knows of a little island off the coast of Maine. One housing the last known Rescue Bots in existence. He had no way of knowing he was about to reunite a teacher with her former students.

I had a headcanon/au for the rescue bots I thought you might enjoy.
Blades is a lot more similar to the Blades from the G1 cartoon than anyone knows. He was a Rescue Bot long before he got put on the Sigma 17 team, in fact he was part of the famed Protectobots who were a combiner team with Blades forming one of the arms. Back then, Blades was also a lot more like his G1 Counterpart and loved to fight almost as much as he loved to rescue, sometimes even more.
One of Blades special interests is learning and mastering new fighting styles, so he knows many now extinct cybertronian fighting styles and is Very, Very Dangerous if he wants to be. However his current team doesn't know this because there's some trauma involving him not being able to protect one of the other members of his first team when the pair were sepersted from the others and targeted by all five of the Stunticons. The repairs to both of them took a very long time and they were lucky to survive.
Due to Blades now thinking he was to weak to protect any of his team members, he decided to take a "break" of sorts by joining a less well known Rescue Bot group that went on lower stakes missions to try and get his confidence back. Only then they went into stasis for millions of years.
The stasis lock mixed with being basically stranded on Earth and having no idea what became of his first team during the war led to why Blades is so nervous and anxious at the start of the series. Maybe some day, with a little help from the others, he'll get some of his confidence back and be able to at least spar with them.

What would Blades and Bumblebee's relationship be like in Earthspark?
In Rescue Bots, Blades is a big fan of Bumblebee and goes crazy when he visits him. To the point of looking for excuses to do missions with him.
In Earthspark, I imagine Blades as just a friend. Because unlike Rescue bots where he only listens to his exploits. On Earthspark he helped the autobots in the war on Cybertron.
I imagine his story like this: Blades fought alongside the Autobots in the Cybertron War alongside his fellow Rescue Bots. Following the end of the war, Blades lost his fellow Rescue Bots in the war. At some point he finds out that Bumblebee died (which was a lie from Optimus). The GHOST hunts forced him into hiding.
Tumblr media
He could have joined GHOST, but the problem is that being a flying type he was seen in a bad light due to the reputation that Decepticons usually have alternate flight modes. He probably sounds ridiculous, but knowing GHOST, he would create a bad image on Blades.
Tumblr media
When Blades finds out that Bumblebee is still alive, he is happy but at the same time betrayed because he did not tell him the reason for his absence.
When introduced to the Terrans, Twitch quickly asks for flying lessons or advice. Having a Rescue Bot gives her hope to protect her family

*Not a request. Just a chaotic ramble*
I saw the TFP x Pokemon Trainer asked and I couldn't help but share this with you. The amount of shenanigans to occur as neither faction has no experience when to comes to these magical creatures nor Trainer!Reader's profession.
I will go for Rescue Worker example since mundane occupations feel more interesting plus chaotic neutral who doesn't side with either faction. They rescue those in need, not join or have their Pokemon fight an actual war. Any combat based training is to deter and restrain rampaging 'mons so they won't hurt themselves.
Megatron is most likely to encounter Trainer!Reader first with obvious hostile attentions. Optimus follows close behind as his rival is too much for his Autobots. The amount of surprise from both as Reader just shrugs Buckethead off and sick a Trevenant on him.
(I chose this Pokemon for an example cause the Pokedex entry will cause concern for the Autobots but interest from the Decepticons since it says to lethally attack those who harm the forest aka is very dangerous. Plus it's a ghost type so there are questions on how it's even alive and can force someone like Megatron to retreat. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Trevenant_(Pok%C3%A9mon). )
Trainer!Reader comes and goes as they please there's always a Pokemon who can Teleport them away if needed. Questions don't really bother em nor any requests for a spar with their team. Once trust(or relationship) is set then my favorite shenanigan is asking a bot to look after a Pokemon Egg.
A simple task that immediately goes awry when the item hatches and the newborn thinks their bot caretaker is their parent. The image of a little Pokemon following Predaking, Soundwave, Bulkhead, Starscream, Ratchet or Optimus like a lost duckling is hilarious to me. TFP Sounders would be over the moon about it though while Ratty pretends he's annoyed but spoils the little 'mon rotten.
It's what I think anyways.
Good thoughts in my opinion. Megs definitely needs to learn to be kinder to the trees or he's gonna get the reader's Trevenant on his aft, and I feel like that might not end very well for Megs. I'm not saying he would die, but he'd get what he deserves. I also like the idea of the reader being neutral and just sort of saving Pokemon, keeping them safe from the fighting that's going on and not really involving themself in the war.
Bee would be absolutely terrified to look after a pokemon egg, since he's seen how fragile chicken eggs are. Of course pokemon eggs are much sturdier, but he doesn't know that, so he's incredibly careful with it. When the pokemon hatches, Bee is over the moon and relieved that he doesn't have to care for the egg anymore. Now he has a pokemon to look after, and he finds it to be a lot of fun.
I feel like Soundwave would definitely also spoil the Pokemon he comes across or the ones that take a liking to him. He's always got some treats on him. I imagine him just sitting in the middle of the woods and some Pokemon approaching him cautiously, and he gives them treats and just lets them climb all over him.

bit of a crackhead idea,
since tfp starscream and rescue bots heatwave share the same voice actor , and since rescue bots is part of the alinged continuity, how about a au were these two a family
Or
In which starscream crashes on Griffin rock, instead of finding the rescue bots in pieces, optimus finds starscream and heatwave aruging in vos with very colorful words, quite a loud family reunion
I have wanted to write Heatwave for the longest time. Seriously, I relate to him on a spiritual level. And throwing Starscream into the mix is even better.
Cousins
It was not exactly super common knowledge, but it was no secret either. Heatwave was a Vosian, but largely only through his mentor's position in the flying city-state. He was no flight frame, but he was allowed to gain citizenship due to his relation to his mentor and because he was capable of partial flight in part due of his rescue frame type. If he had enough time and access to a reasonable model, he could gain a frame able to take to the skies, if only a little bit. As such there were only a few odd raised brow's when Heatwave waltzed around Vos like any proud seeker would.
He met Starscream and all his other relations at annual parties held in the capitol but he tended to care very little for them. Starscream drove him insane with how dramatic and proud the seeker and heir to Vos was. Of course his disposition immediately made him the target for Starscream's mockery and taunting. The seeker always made it a point to harass Heatwave whenever he turned up to the gatherings. And eventually Heatwave threw formality out of the window and punched Starscream square in the jaw after one too many irritating and insulting prods. He was not allowed back at the gatherings after that and honestly, he was content. With the growing uncertainty of Cybertron's political state, Heatwave was far more comfortable being away from Vos as much as possible.
He did not expect to see Starscream or his other relations ever again, or at least not for a few millennia when he joined up with the rescue forces being sent out into deep space for maintenance. He got along with his team well enough and they did a few odd jobs together until Cybertron suddenly went dark during one of their long term missions. In response, their pods which would have normally woken them from stasis once every year or so instead kept them stasis locked as a security measure. From there they wound up on Griffin rock, met Optimus Prime, were given a basic rundown of everything that happened (without the darker details), and put to work as rescue bots for the area to keep them out of the war.
Heatwave had very mixed feelings on the matter for quite a while. If he had his way he would have joined up with Optimus and his team to fight against Megatron. But that was not to be, and so he did his best to find purpose and contentment in his place in Griffin Rock. And he succeeded for the most part, even coming to forget about his past almost entirely as he grew accustomed to his new life. However since fate seems to love screwing with him, he had his past quickly come back to bite him after a groundbridge malfunction had him coming face to face with the cousin he hated most.
Heatwave: *glowering* Starscream
Starscream: HEATWAVE!?!? How the FRAG did you get here!?
Heatwave: *glaring* How do you think I got here glitch prince?
Starscream and Heatwave immediately got into a screaming match, with both pointing at the other and cursing each other out in Vos. The other rescue bots were horrified, despite not knowing a ton of Vos themselves, and covered the ears of their human companions as they looked at Heatwave and Starscream with wide optics. The screaming went on and on and not a spark was sure what to do with the rogue Decepticon. His emblem was still present and he was very much a threat, but Heatwave seemed to be somewhat chill with him so the rescue bots were left torn.
They went to try and contact Optimus while Heatwave and Starscream continued their increasingly crude argument but found themselves mostly out of luck. Messages tended to take up to a day or two to transfer and be received by team Prime, so the rescue bots had no choice but the bunker down and be prepared to fight if need be.
In response, Blades became downright terrified and refused to go anywhere near Heatwave as he dragged the Decepticon inside and threatened him with every conceivable form of punishment known to Cybertronian kind. Chase did not hesitate to slap stasis cuffs on Starscream the moment he became distracted enough with Heatwave to be snuck up on. The seeker was not at all pleased, but without his wings or his servos, there wasn't a whole lot he could do. Boulder was just left unsure, he had never been much of a fighter and seeing a fully fledged Decepticon in their base was concerning beyond words. The Burns family were left more confused than anything else as they had only been exposed to the rescue bots, Optimus, and Bumblebee. They were aware that the Cybertronians were technically at war, but it did not really sink in how real it was until Starscream turned up.
Without any better facilities or the capabilities to properly incarcerate Starscream, he was kept around the base until a response from team Prime came through. If the seeker wasn't in a screaming match with Heatwave that always left the bots looking a little unnerved and slightly nauseous, he was lounging about being a pain in everyone's afterburner. It almost seemed like the former prince of Vos had decided to make his existence everyone's problem with how hard he tried to mock and belittle the others around him. Chase was bombarded with constant needling directed at his usually suppressed desire to return to Cybertron. More than once the former enforcer contemplated possibly having Starscream die under "mysterious" circumstances when the seeker brought up the brutal devastation of their homeworld one too many times.
Boulder was met with a great deal of mockery in regards to his frame and his nature. The seeker taunted him every time he came by, commenting on his frame type and his lack of any and all aggressiveness. It didn't bother Boulder all that much as he had little care for his looks and only found interest in the world around him, but still he found himself in less of a pleasant mood with the Decepticon hanging around. Blades on the other hand had a complete breakdown once Starscream picked him out from among his team as the least mentally capable. Starscream made fun of blades, everything from his looks, his capabilities, his personality, to his performance. If nothing else, Starscream knew how to prod, he was once to be Winglord after all.
The Burns family would have been met with similar treatment, but Heatwave got to Starscream first after he found Blades crying on the floor. A few solid punches, a body slam, and a powerful elbow strike straight to the vents quickly shut Starscream up, at least when Heatwave was around. Of course that still didn't stop him from tearing into Heatwave himself since he couldn't harass the others with Heatwave around.
Starscream: You red rosy fragger! How dare you keep me, Starscream! Soon to be LORD of the DECEPTICONS locked up!
Heatwave: Go stick your helm into an acid pit you ungrateful glitch!
Starscream: Well we could always deal with this the proper Vosian way! Oh that's right! You can't you wingless whelp!
Heatwave: Oh I'll show you wingless-!
Safe to say by the time Optimus hurried through the groundbridge he was very nearly too late to save Starscream from getting beaten to death by his very short tempered cousin. But he was most certainly too late to save the purity of the more innocent rescue bots (*cough* Blades) from Starscream's NSFW insults.

So, in Rescue Bots there is a character named Blades, right? A Helicopter who's job it is to save people during disasters. In the original G1 there is also a helicopter named Blades who's job is to save people during disasters. They even look near identical! Even if they do have very different personalities. So hear me out. They are the same bot, just a different points in their life.
G1 Blades is ALWAYS ready to brawl and would rather be punching out cons and using his blades as swords on them than being the one carrying people to safety. So what if before the war, he was a Rescue Bot who also had a "hobby" of going to the Fighting Pits in order to blow off steam. He was a very popular fighter and incredibly strong, even facing off against Megatronus a time or two. Who won isn't really important, it's just important that Blades was a well known for being incredibly strong.
One day on his way home, he got jumped by some people and wounded pretty badly while they insulted him and his fighting skills. It took a few days for him to be found and rescued. After he was found and healed, he was more cautious about using violence and until he was deemed Fully Recovered, he was put on a team that went on less dangerous missions. On their first mission, something went wrong and when they woke up, they were on Earth.
Blades doesn't exactly want them to know about his fighting past because then he might get drafted into the war despite Optimus saying he didn't want them to join. So he plays up his cowardice but slowly lets go of that persona over the months of living with his new family. He still misses his combiner team, but maybe in the future he can find them.
Honestly, I frickin’ love this mostly because is my Favorite Rescue Bot! I love the idea of him originally a rowdy tough guy

Designs for the sequel I am already planning
The Rescue Recruits!!
Tumblr media
And some of my lore that will be explored with for all of them!
Wedge
Wedge was formed during the war. He was created through spark bonding between two Decepticons, though he never really met his Parensnatales (parents) due to their assignment within the ranks. Due to his young age, he was put into the energon mines on one of the Deception owned planets on the outskirts of the Milky Way. While he had to fight Autobots sometimes, this planet was relatively uninhabited by Autobots, meaning that many Decepticon children made their home here.
When the war ended, and they returned to Cybertron, Wedge found out that he was orphaned just like many of his miner buddies. While Cybertron was being rebuilt, several mechs had stepped up to take care of and watch over the young Cybertronians left behind. One of these groups was the newly reemerged Protectobots, who were missing one key bot in their lineup. Wedge was one of the young Cybertronians taken in by the team, where he soon learned about rescue work and started to ask for training in it. While Rescue City was being repaired, the Protectobots and several of the old Alpha team members who had returned to the city started to teach small things to the young Cybertronians who were under their care. While some dropped off from the lessons, the others stuck around to become the new rebirth generation of Rescue Bots, which Wedge was one of those.
Tumblr media
Whirl
Whirl was also formed during the war, formed from a spark bond due to Ultra Magnus and Whirl Sr. not being careful with their conjunx bonding ceremony. While her designation was Whirlybird, she chose to use just Whirl to mess with mechs on the Lost Light. One day a large energy spike was detected across the Milky Way. While Ultra Magnus went off to investigate the strange anomaly, the Lost Light continued to avoid the attacks of the DJD.
Once the ship was able to reach Cybertron and the whole family was reunited, Whirl Jr. was stumped on what she was wanting to do. Whirl Sr. one day had suggested joining the newly rebuilt Rescue Bots Academy. Due to Ultra Magnus's knowledge of the old laws and regulations of Cybertron, he would teach Whirl Jr. them during his free time. Due to this, she had an immense love for the subject. So when she found out that the academy had enforcers as an option, she jumped at the chance to join. Leading her to join the first wave of new official Rescue Bot Recruits.
Tumblr media
Hot Shot and Jolt
Hot Shot was one of the mechs who reemerged from the Well. Jolt's spark connection with him is what allowed him to return. Jolt is his minicon partner, and one of his oldest friends. Hot Shot was one of the many young mechs who had to fight in the war. While he had a naturally forged frame, his spark was transferred to an adult build, offering more protection than his young, weak armor plating he had before. The pair fought side by side during the war as first Optimus's personal scouts, then as a commander of a squadron. Jolt helped to keep to Hot Shot in check, offering guidance to the young soldier. When Hot Shot had become a commander, his role also shifted to being a mentor for a young scout that Optimus had appointed. Hot Shot taught the young scout everything he needed to know, and the pair formed a close friendship. When the young scout had been kidnapped by Megatron while Hot Shot had been shot down, Primus had changed Hot Shot's frame. This new frame while lacking speed, made up for it in strength, allowing the young commander to rescue the young scout at Tyger Pax. After the events at Tyger Pax, the Ark was ready to launch. Hot Shot was meant to be one of the mechs that went on the ship. However as it was launching, the Nemesis had attacked. Hot Shot was one of the fatalities during this attack.
Upon his reemergence from the Well, he was met by the mechs who were looking over the many new sparks and reemerging sparks. After many questions, he was finally reunited with Jolt. After that Hot Shot and Jolt had aimlessly wandered around Cybertron. Hot Shot was one of the mechs who had no Parensnatales, and so he really had no place to go. After some years, the pair heard about a new Cube league forming. Cube was originally a game created during the war by Ratchet for the many young mechs who were forced into the war to have something fun to do. (Also was created to distract them from the Wrecker's game of Lob) Hot Shot remembering the many games he played, joined the league and was soon given a home among the teams. Over time, he had risen to fame, being one of the best players within the league. After a big final game of the season, Optimus had approached him. Shocked to see the meant to be dead leader, Hot Shot didn't believe at first that the mech was really in front of him. However after some time talking, Hot Shot learned that he had been alive for awhile at that point, and had just returned from a mission back to Earth. It was at this point that Optimus had offered him and Jolt a chance to go to the newly reopened Rescue Bots Academy.
Tumblr media
Medix
Medix also reemerged from the Well, being one of the mechs that was killed during the Rescue Bots Massacre. Medix is the child of First Aid and Vortex, having been formed by a spark bond during the start of the war. He too was put into an adult frame like Hot Shot was, and when the Protectobots joined the war, he was also brought into it with his cousins. He worked as a tirage medic on the field, being a true pacifist just like his aunt Groove. His team within the Rescue Bots rank was Alpha 2, which consisted of his cousins Skyfeather, Rook, and Heatrock. Skyfeather was their team leader, due to her being the oldest and most experienced out of them. The Alpha 2 team was able to combine with the Alpha 1 team (Protectobots), making the two teams very powerful in terms of the war. Skyfeather and Heatrock were able to combine within the actual Protectobot team, forming Gaia Guardian, while Rook and Medix were able to replace an original team member when they were unable to transform. When Defensor fell at Tagan Heights, Rescue City was left with Alpha 2 leading and protecting it. This is when Megatron decided to strike. Medix watched as his older cousins were slaughtered, before his death and the destruction of Rescue City.
Upon his reemergence, he was reunited with his cousins who also reemerged with him. Together the group made their way to the remains of Rescue City, where they were reunited with Hotspot, First Aid, Streetwise, and Groove. Blade's absence confused them all, but they all were quick to start rebuilding the city. Blades soon reappeared on Cybertron, having survived the war and was the reason that they were all able to reemerge due to his Gestalt bond with his siblings. When the school was rebuilt and reopened, Medix joined the new wave of students coming into the academy, excited to finish his training properly.
Tumblr media
Hoist
Hoist, while not apart of the war, was a civilian casualty. His Almatonias (moms) had him before the war broke out. His family had decided to stay out of the war as long as they possibly could, but his death due to an Autobot Wrecker's explosions is what pushed his Almatonias to join the Decepticons.
His Almatonias survived the war, allowing for his reemergence. He was reunited with them, and after Cybertron had been mostly rebuilt, they were encouraging him to choose what he wanted to do in life. Now that the caste system was overthrown, he was allowed to do just that. Hearing about the reopening of the Rescue Bots Academy, and that engineering, one of his passions, was offered at the academy, he applied to be a student there. He was accepted and joined the first wave of new students.
Tumblr media
And that is the lore of these guys for the Cyberhumans and Cybertronians sequel! While this story isn't going to be mentioned much until that point in time, I wanted to get these out there as some of the characters will be mentioned within the main story of Cyberaligned. Due to how interwoven I want everything to be, we will be seeing glimpses of Hot Shot and Medix within Blade's memories, as well as meeting Whirl Jr. and Whirl Sr. in one of the future chapters when the Lost Light crashes on Earth.
I hope y'all are excited for this future plot!

As someone who really loves Smokescreen but sees almost nothing with him in it, thank you for your valuable contributions to the enhanced quality of my life. I would love to see more of your AUs! I wonder if there’s something you could come up with where instead of being an Elite Guard and being mentored by Alpha Trion, our favourite Destiny’s Child got interested in the medical field instead? I think he might be a little squeamish, but still see it as a great cause!❤️❤️❤️
:DDDDDDD THANKEE!!!!!!
And I do actually have something like this! It’s not exact, but it’s pretty close in some aspects
basically, it’s an AU where Smokey wasn’t training to be an Elite Guard and instead was actually training to be a Rescue Bot.
Now, what Smokescreen was doing was incredibly dangerous. After all, given functionalism Smokey could very well be killed for what he’s trying to do since he wasn’t forged with a medic frame or hands. The only thing saving him from getting carted off somewhere is the protection being a Rescue Bot (albeit in training) offered. Maybe his superiors end up pulling some strings, maybe fudging some numbers, maybe offer him some secret classes, but as long as Smokescreen does well and avoids staying out of the spotlight, he can pursue his dream
And because I love characters crossing paths, he ends up befriending Heatwave :D
the two first met when they were sharing detention in the Academy together. Smokescreen was racing in the halls (it's not his fault it was the fastest way to his classes) and Heatwave had gotten into a fight (you should see the other guy). Smokescreen, being the slightly nosy but well meaning guy that he is, ends up fixing up some of the dents Heatwave still had because Hey What Better Way To Learn Than With Practice, and things just spiraled from there
now, these two were as thick as thieves, and their teamwork was impeccable. Anyone with working optics could see they were going to be a great team after graduation, and when Blades, Chase and Boulder join their duo to make a quintet that future only looks brighter. The 5 of them were among some of the best in the Academy in their respective fields, so combined they were going to do some great things
There was the slight hiccup in these plans with how Smokey was a year younger and thus would be graduating later, but they'd already made plans and started the paperwork for him to be transferred to Sigma-17
.........but then barely a few weeks before graduation, things don't quite go to plan :)
Smokescreen is...... absolutely DEVASTATED when they're presumed dead. His teammates, his best friends, all gone in one fell swoop
he admittedly starts spiraling a bit after that. He all but drowns himself in his work and studies, severely neglecting his health for a while. He actually ends up landing himself in the academy medbay a couple times, much to his shame. The rest of his final year passes by in a blur and when he graduates he...... really isn't doing a whole lot better. His superiors refuse to assign him to another active team because given how poor a track record he has with self care and how dangerous things have gotten because of the war that was practically sending him off to his death. However, they had to do something because if they didn’t Smokescreen would just get tracked down and killed by the Council
so he gets assigned to the Archives as the medic in charge of caring for the Elite Guard members there
And as much as Smokey hates it...... he also knows they're right. Hell, he's not even sure if he could handle being assigned to another team at all, and he sure as hell isn’t going to let himself die after all the work he put in to get here
The others wouldn’t want that
Alpha Trion is a god send and helps give him the space needed to work through his grief, plus some general good advice. He even commends Smokescreen for his bravery and determination to become a medic. Things are a bit…… awkward with the Guardsmen since they weren’t as open minded as Trion, but it’s easy enough to avoid them and he does eventually earn their respect when he shows them his skill
But of course, this just makes things hurt even worse when the Fall of Iacon inevitably happens
when he crashes on Earth, Optimus is then left with a decision, which honestly could lead to this AU going in two different directions. On one hand it would probably be best to send Smokescreen to Griffin Rock for his own safety. This is the middle of a war zone, and Smokescreen isn’t at all built for combat. However, because of his crash landing Megatron knows Smokescreen exists and that could potentially put the other Bots and even Griffin Rock as a whole in danger
however, regardless of how long it takes Smokescreen is eventually going to reunite with the rest of Sigma-17 and it’s going to be F U N :)
(also just the general chaos of Smokey being able to have multiple alt modes because it’s my headcanon that’s a thing mostly exclusive to rescue bots, with some exceptions)

Dear Vector Prime, what would have happened if Dinobot 2 had survived and joined the Maximals on their journey back to Cybertron?
Dear Sempiternal Saurian,
In one reality, Optimus Primal was able to successfully rescue the cloned Dinobot from the Nemesis and carry him to safety, moments before Rhinox’s shuttle obliterated the ship’s bridge and foiled Megatron’s final gambit to win the Beast Wars. Initially, the jubilant Maximals believed that their old friend had somehow returned to life, but were dismayed to find that this was not quite the case. While this “new” Dinobot had indeed inherited some jumbled memories of his genetic template, he also bore the scars—both literal and metaphorical—of serving Megatron throughout the last third of the Beast Wars. Worse yet, he still carried the spark of Protoform X, itself a failed attempt to mimic Starscream’s immortal spark. Suffice it to say, the second Dinobot was a traumatized, empty shell—a living weapon bereft of purpose, forced to work alongside the same ‘bots he’d been conditioned to hate, and perpetually at war with himself as competing instincts vied for dominance. The Maximals quickly learned to give their nominal ally a wide berth, and none of them were particularly enthused when he declared that he would join them on their voyage home, in the hopes that he could find some kind of new purpose on Cybertron.
As in many of the timelines you know, Megatron slipped his bonds during their voyage back to Cybertron, conquered the planet with an army of mass-produced Vehicon warriors, and infected his captors with a paralyzing transformation virus. Thanks to his Transmetal 2 body, Dinobot resisted the virus, but was forcibly devolved back into a simulacrum of his genetic predecessor. Soon enough, Optimus Primal found him, Rattrap, Blackarachnia, and Cheetor; guided by Primal’s supernatural visions, the five ‘bots fled into the depths of Cybertron, and eventually encountered the mysterious Oracle. Dinobot emerged from the computer with a new, technorganic beast mode: a crimson Guanlong with steel-grey plumage, his teeth and claws could easily penetrate Vehicon armor. As he had never truly “known” Cybertron before the Vehicon apocalypse, Dinobot fought not for any kind of higher ideal, or to rescue the populace of Cybertron, but merely to survive; when the Maximals learned that Megatron had engineered the entire disaster and taken control of the planet, Dinobot decided that he hated Megatron more than he hated the Maximals and grudgingly stuck by their fledgling resistance movement, defiantly wearing a modified Predacon insignia for no other reason than to incense his creator.
Already torn between so many states of being, it should come as no surprise that Dinobot struggled to master the art of transformation. Because of this setback, however, the Rattrap of this timeline—who’d already taken a very real dislike to the “cut-rate knockoff”, and could now look down his nose at someone even worse at transformation than himself—never faced the same kind of crisis of conscience that many of his alternate selves struggled with, and learned how to transform by himself. When Dinobot found that “emotional still point” and unlocked his robot mode, he was a mighty warrior indeed: not only could his optics project a wall of telekinetic force to cover his allies and send enemies flying, but his mighty two-handed claymore could also open tectonic fissures and create localized earthquakes. Tormented by his own demons as he was, however, those moments of emotional lucidity were fleeting at best, and Dinobot spent most of his time trapped in beast mode: in his worst moments, the other Maximals had to physically restrain him as his old Transmetal instincts overwhelmed him and he reverted to a feral state of being. Even while trapped in beast mode, Dinobot proved an ambitious and cunning warrior, and he and Cheetor repeatedly butted heads over the position of leader while the Maximal leader was indisposed.
In this timeline, Dinobot’s warrior instincts and animalistic thirst for vengeance helped push Optimus Primal, already convinced that his mission was to revert Cybertron to its primordial organic state, further and further down the road of extremism. Thanks to his influence, by the time that Tankor’s true consciousness reasserted itself and made a play for power, Optimus had already discovered the Plasma Energy Chamber and used it to send an ultimatum to Megatron: leave the planet now, or perish. This time around, it was Megatron who had to go on the defensive; despite these minor changes in the timeline, the end result was largely the same—the clash between the Key to Vector Sigma and the Plasma Energy Chamber resulted in near-deaths for both Optimus Primal and Megatron. The other Maximals realized that their comrade had played a major role in Primal’s death and turned their back on him. While the other Maximals eventually revived Optimus and dealt with the strange Savage/Noble creature, a grief-stricken Dinobot, convinced that he had permanently killed the first being who had ever treated him kindly, buried his higher functions beneath his animal instincts and turned feral, indiscriminately roaming the empty tunnels and savaging any wayward Vehicons who deviated from their patrol routes.
Finally, after many cycles of exile, Optimus Primal—who had dedicated all his time to meditating in front of the Oracle and casting his own sensory net across the planet in the hopes of finding their most troubled comrade—finally reached Dinobot’s sleeping mind and pierced his layers of mental armor. In this shared dreamscape, a jumbled nightmare world of Transmetallized bones and a burning valley—Dinobot admitted that he had no idea who he was. Was he a warrior or a monster? A beast or a robot? A Maximal, a Predacon, a Decepticon? Would he forever toil in the shadow of his progenitor, desperately trying to live a life he’d never known? Or was he nothing but a freak of nature who concealed his monstrous nature beneath the veneer of an honorable warrior?
Inspired by his own recent voyage through the Matrix, Optimus offered his own opinion: just as the Matrix had chosen them to bring nature and technology together into a single, harmonious whole, so too was Dinobot more than the sum total of his origins. He was not the original Dinobot, nor was he Rampage; he was himself, a loyal ally and just as much a part of the Oracle’s grand plan as the rest of the Maximals.
It would take time before the Predacon warrior learned to channel Primal’s sense of balance into his own fighting style as he rigorously trained in private—aided by Primal’s occasional remote coaching sessions—and longer still before he worked up the courage to rejoin the Maximals. When he did, however, he returned not as Dinobot, but as his own ‘bot—he was now Preditron, a courageous and honorable warrior who combined his bestial instincts with the experience of two lifetimes lived. Preditron fought bravely alongside the Maximals in subsequent campaigns, stood by as they welcomed Botanica and Silverbolt into the fold, and made a courageous stand in the final battle against the Vehicon hordes.
Many centuries in the future, long after the Great Transformation that saw Cybertron reformatted into a technorganic utopia, young technorganic Cybertronians still whisper tales of the reclusive Last Predacon, whose immortal spark burns forever. When all else fails, it is said that the Last Predacon will emerge from his secluded jungle home to take young Cybertronians who struggle to master transformation under his wing, and teach them to find the balance within, as he once did himself.
