THERE WE HAVE IT! Scugified all of the local group by putting them in the same situation as Sliver or Straw more or less!

These are mostly for fun so I haven't sat down to ponder them too hard hehe hoho

Explanation on their designs below the cut:

The Martyr (LTTM) - He's very tough, more cold resistant and capable of surviving one or two lizard bites even due to his sheer size, which makes him very slow. In addition, kind of like Saint, he is completely passive and cannot kill creatures.

The Prodigy (FP) - Very quick and also fully carnivorous! Her fur is very light so she has to use her food pips in order to glow and warm herself up. Can maul like Artificer while having the strength of Monk. You'll mostly be chasing bat flies with her.

The Sage (SRS) - They are completely blind so you navigate the world and map using your hearing and other senses. It looks like you are in pitch darkness in shaded with the iggy effect when it shows you the surrounding area. You can see every creature on the map that's in the room with you or the next one. She can also make pearls using rocks!

The Nomad (NSH) - Always moving from one area to the next, you can’t rest in the same shelter twice, unless you exit the area and come back. She can also camouflage kind of like white lizards do and crouch move while camouflaged.

The Judge (GW) - The Judge doesn’t ascend every creature. He’s relatively fast and has strong spear throws. If you are killed with the Judge, next cycle the creature will be marked for you on the map at all times. If you ignore the mark The Judge loses karma and vice versa gains one karma if you commit to the kill.

The Acolyte (UI) - He’s small and emits light with which he can befriend certain creatures and gain protection from them! He crawls slower than average and can only carry one item ar a time, because of his missing hand, but jumps higher.

...and not the first attempt: initially relied on the game appearance, but Ava's 3d model came out more repulsive in "my realism", while A. Sapkowski described the Sage as quite beautiful;

So I trusted myself and drew him the way I felt💫 just kept the moles that CD project Red added to him in the game: moles revived the portrait and made the elf himself...more real?

Biju Headcanon

The biju have been around for millennia, they’re pure chakra constructs, now my personal headcanon is this,

With all the jutsu and Fuinjutsu and mokuton running about, the biju are essentially filters. For every jutsu and seal and mokuton construct, the chakra bleeds over into the world and try’s to drive out the world’s natural chakra, it takes over and corrupts everything around it, the biju would then feed off that chakra left over and spilling out from these man made chakra structures and purify it, making it natural chakra then let it back into the world strengthening it.

The mokuton was one of the worst offenders of this, the roots getting tangled up and corrupting everything around it for miles within a month.

Then they get sealed and There’s villages of shinobi being made, there’s a mokuton user running about, and in less than a decade chakra deficiency and chakra sensitivity has came about because of how dense the corrupt chakra has become.

Thing is with villages being so new and the bijuu being seen as useless demons only good for power, nobody connected chakra deficiency and chakra sensitivity to them, so that’s where might dai and might guy and rock Lee came about.

Now then, if you wanna stick canon wise, the Sage knew this, he didn’t care that the biju, the ones he birthed were being harmed and enslaved, because to him it’d be worth it, because shinobi would’ve died out, ninjutsu would’ve died out, because no one could actively use chakra anymore and by then the biju would be free to clean up because no body could seal them anymore because they wouldn’t have the power.

All that would be left of chakra manipulation would be ninshu, otherwise known as the sages way.

i love how saint gets to see with his eyes closed while sage is stuck being actually blind lmao

by the way, is the cause of sage's blindness the whole "destruction of the self" thing you gotta do when escaping the void, or just plain old eye damage.

That's an awesome question!

Actually it's related to Suns as a character, at least my interpretation obviously. Them feeling like they turned a blind eye to their friends and local group so now Sage can't see. I'd say she has eye damage.

The rest can see!

Another addition to them is the idea of the whole pearl making business. A big part of Suns character to me also is that very late into the timeline, they felt a great injustice with the fact all iterators would perish without being remembered for everything they've done. So what Sage does is make pearls and write their wills.

On her tail is the will of her past self as Seven Red Suns.
