The book is coming tomorrow!!

Let’s list three things we would like to find and three things we would rather not find in it.

I start:

I’d like to see more parabatai content (both with Alec and Jace and with Simon and Clary) because I am a bitch for it and there isn’t a lot of content in the books.

I’d like to see a lot of action and demon hunting and shadowhunter fights. It is a love story but also a Shadowhunter story! I want to be scared for them, to gasp, to wait with my heart racing for what will happen next

I’d like to see the moment Magnus gives Alec his enchanted Lightwood ring because Alec said in The Land I Lost that Magnus gave it to him the day he told him he was sure they were getting married. In the extract that came out in the past months Alec was wondering about Magnus wanting or not to marry him so it will hopefully come out. Also, I wanted to read it since I read about the ring in tlil.

But

I’d rather not see them fighting again, let the angst come from somewhere else, not their relationship! They matured and I wan to see what works, not what doesn’t

I’d rather not see Max’s heritage. It can’t be something silly if brought up, and they can’t all be children of greater demons and princes of hell. So I’d like for it to remain unknown

I’d rather not see Ragnor gaslighting Magnus because I know they’re going to be friendly again with each other, so I don’t want their rivalry to go too far, or their relationship will be ruined for me
