( in which Suraya gives some sisterly advice, part how many times this has happened now)

The day is nearing its end. Blair left early to look after Lilith and catch up on some studies. Suraya eventually managed to tear Lep away from the whiteboard and get him something to eat ( they ordered take out). When all of that was said and done, they two found themselves back in front of the whiteboard, simply staring. Leo doesn't say anything, his eyebrows furrowed as he stares hard at his creation. Suraya simply waits for him to speak.

" I made them wait so long, " he says at last, quietly, " How do I know that they're willing to put up with me, after everything? I ignored them, pushed them away and-" his voice hitches, and he feels his eyes begin to water.

" Oh, Leo....". Suraya coos, bringing her little brother closer to her, " I can't exactly give you the answer on that. But I think that if they didn't care, they wouldn't have helped you through....you know"

Leo winces. Yeah, he knows. Richard's words still echo in his head, and still grip at his soul. He hates that he's still hung up on him. Hates that he still thinks Richard might be right.

" I...I guess," Leo sighs,leaning into his sisters touch, " I just want to give them something worthwhile. To make up for all the bullshit I caused them,"

"...okay, there's a lot of things I want to say here, but to stay focused on the conversation- I don't think you realize how much you helped them, Leo. Yes, what happened probably hurt them as much as it did you, but I don't think it's something to make up for. That's some Richard bullshit, if you ask me," Leo snorts, a tiny bit bitter at the mention of Richard, but overall he doesn't feel as shitty as he did before. Suraya moved to her brother's face to look directly at her.

" Leo, those three love you. Plain and simple. Something 'worthwhile' to them is you being safe and happy. You don't need a helicopter filled with roses to make yourself worthwhile,"

Leo doesn't respond, wiping away a tear before it can shed.

" Talk to them Leo," Suraya urges gently, " Tell them how you feel, tell them your insecurities. I promise you they will understand. I'm sure they have some insecurities as well,".

Leo bites his bottom lip, momentarily thinking before giving his sister a small smile.

"... Okay. I will. Thanks Raya," Suraya beams.

" Of course Leo. Anytime,"
