julia feng is back at it again after trying for a chance at romance with the lovely scarlett on @theosconfessions love is embarrassing bc (we hope my girl finds the love she deserves, the top 5 was just announced so go check it out!! <3) there will be seven spots in the del sol mansion, waiting to be filled with your lovelies! this will be minimal & casual as this is my first challenge there will not be too much story telling as that really isn’t my strong suit but we’re gonna damn well try & my laptop isn’t the best so i can’t do toooooo much! so please bare with me, and now onto..

a little about julia~

julia feng is twenty-six years old, and the adopted daughter of lily & victor feng. previously, she had thought she was a lesbian but has been experimenting since love is embarrassing, now she as came out as pansexual. she is the owner of feng beauty, and has a youtube channel where she emassed over one million followers. she was living in the spice district in san myshuno but moved to del sol valley after appearing on the bachelorette. julia loves rock & blues, and enjoys attending concerts and local shows. she’s a big hopeless romantic, and dreams of finding her one and only (& living happily ever after all that jazz). julia is very down to earth, despite being very rich, she doesn’t like being in the public eye. she wants someone to love her for her, not just the feng name, and that’s been hard for her as she only finds people who want to be with her for being rich. she’s never had a had a real relationship, only flings. but she knows what she wants, she’s gonna be thirty soon, she knows she’s ready to is ready to settle down & give her all to someone (not just her work). she knows a reality tv show may not be the place to find love, but she’s willing to try! you can read more about julia here!

Traits: Overachiever, Goofball, and Bro

Adopted at the age of six to a doctor and teacher, Raylan has seen the best and worst of the world. He barely remembers his biological family but struggled to bond with his adopted parents. Since Dr. and Mr. Hancock were unable to conceive, Raylan always felt he was a secondary prize to his folks. He rebelled even as they spoiled him. It wasn't until his mom died when he was sixteen that he turned his life around. He stopped doing drugs, focused on his studies, and became closer to his dad. The two men bonded over their love of music and crafting things.

Sadly, Mr. Handcock passed just after Raylan graduated from university with a culinary degree. In honor of his science teacher dad, Raylan went back to university and earned a biology degree. Despite inheriting his parents' wealth, Raylan still has a successful career he loves.

Betting on Betta: A Bachelorette Challenge

Hi Everyone! I'm not dead I promise. Work life has just caused me to take a break from games in general. In order to get back into the game I want to play a basic legacy without any rules. The only problem... I really don't feel like making a spouse for my founder. Soo why not have some fun with it and attempt a bachelorette challenge?

Introducing Betta Lace:

Growing up in Sulani was a blast for Betta. How could it not have been? Everything she loved surrounded her: warm sand, calm waves, clear water, and pretty shells. There was only one issue. Being a Lace comes with a lot of responsibility. Ever wonder why the island waters are always so calm? The Lace's have lived in Sulani for ages. Hundreds of years ago they were gifted with the ability to speak and see the islands spirits. For generations they have calmed angry spirits. By following their spirit guides every word the Lace's have saved the island and it's locals from many threats. Sulani locals like to call them The Guardians. Betta's thoughts on this? Well to put it simply, she hates it. Betta and her siblings were treated like glass. Public schooling? No way, we can't have risk anything bad happening to a Guardian. Home schooling was seen as the safest way to learn. Being a Lace has left Betta with little social life. It's hard to make real friends when everyone sees you as an idol. Finding love? Betta could only dream of it. She has tried in the past. However, it's hard to find love when people expect an idealized version of you. That's why Betta decided to be the next Bachelorette. She wants to find someone who will love her as she is.

Contestant Guidelines:

Berry Sims Only- I tend to get bored when my sims aren't nice and colorful. No specific colors for this one so have fun.

Young Adults Only- The winner will hopefully go on to found a legacy with Betta. I want them to live happily for as long as possible.

All genders Allowed- Betta is Pan.

Occults are Welcomed- I love occults and so does Betta. You can even get creative with CC to make something different if you'd like.

Custom Content? Go Crazy- Well maybe not too crazy. I'm not going to put a limit on CC just be aware that we may not see all of your sim's outfits (like cold weather or athletic for example).

Fashion? Be sure to give your sim a nice formal, everyday, and date outfit at least.

Backstory and Details- Please give us a backstory and some facts to get to know your contestants better. It doesn't have to be extremely long I just want to know who they are.

No Skills Allowed- There will be challenges in this bachelorette and I don't want anyone to have the upper hand. Traits that may affect skills are allowed obviously.

No Romantic Traits- Once again I just don't want anyone to have the upper hand. Describing your sim as romantic is fine. We're just trying to eliminate any major advantages.

No Contestant Limit- at the moment. This could change later!

Comment Below to Reserve a Spot- Just to make sure I know you're making a sim. I don't have a deadline in mind and I don't want to end submissions when someone is still making a sim.

welcome to prince castellan's selection!

how it works:

standard bachelor/ette challenge rules with a twist inspired by kiera cass' series the selection

you do not have to be familiar with the selection at all to enter

there will be one sim "selected" per world (minus batuu bc fuck batuu) [25] competing for one prince

every four sim days there will be an elimination

there will be a discord server for contestants to keep up with my gameplay in basically real time and give input on their contestant's choices and portrayal in my posts (not required but it'll be fun i promise)

i'm going to use this challenge as an experiment in storytelling so each post will include dialogue and there i will try to include an overarching plot/story arc for each contestant. this is my first time doing this so sorry if it's a little cringe!!!

submission requirements:

in the books, the selection is very straight so i recommend feminine sims but i will not kill you if you submit masculine sims because i'm gay

your sim should be a young adult, and can be of any species (alien, vampire, spellcaster, werewolf, mermaid, plant sim, sim). be diverse and have fun playing around with gender, race, species, etc!

please give your sim a couple of everyday outfits as well as the normal amount of other outfits. feel free to make them fancy! they’re staying in a palace!

i am cc minimal so please try not to use cc! presets and sliders are fine (not height) but if you use them let me know which ones so they don't come into my game wonky

there are no pack limitations whatsoever- i have all of them

you must be okay with me using my own defaults on them whether or not this changes their appearance

please use a world no one has already used (i'll keep a list updated under the cut) or have a few in the back of your mind as a backup

in the post, include: name (first and last), traits, aspiration, career, a few skills, and a brief backstory

downloads can be private if you want, dm me after i comment on the post

after we've dmed your sim will be added to the selection page on my blog

Producer: Betta we need you to answer some questions so the potential contestants can get to know you better.

Betta: Alright, I'll just sit down right here then.

You don't want to change into swimwear?

Nah, that'll take too long. Now you had questions?

What's your ideal type?

I'm not a fan of ideals. Let's be honest, no one is perfect. I guess I've always had an interest in the mysterious types.

What was your last relationship like?

Don't even get me started. We meet when I went to college and I thought things were going well. They even moved to Sulani to be with me after college. That's when things changed. It's like they were a different person all of a sudden. I don't want to go into much detail about it. It was rough for a while.

We've heard you're like a celebrity here in Sulani. What is that like?

It sucks. The Lace's aren't your everyday celebrity that people love here in Sulani. People look at us like we're some kind of gods. Some worship the ground we work on... literally. Imagine having no social life because your supposed to spend your whole life protecting the land. Leave me out of it. I'm not some kind of hero who'll risk their life for people who, in the end, doesn't even actually care about them.

If that's your way of thinking then what is your relationship with your family life?

I'm a disgrace to the whole family. At least that's what they think of me. They'd never say it out loud, obviously. Though that might change when this airs. I've never actual expressed my hatred of the system to the public. My siblings say that I'll disappoint the people at some point. So, it might as well be now before someone comes on this show expecting someone I'm not. Simply put, mom and dad aren't my biggest fans. My siblings are so stuck on being protectors of the island that they don't even stop to think about my beliefs. In all honesty, I feel bad for them.

If not your family, then who is your biggest supporter?

My best friend from college. Her name is Candy and she has been my cheerleader since the day I meet her. She's bright and cheerful with a protective side to her. Her opinion is important to me, so don't be surprised if she shows up at some point. She'll put everyone to the test.

What do you think of supernaturals?

I find them interesting. There is so much to learn about them and they all seem to have a mysterious aura to them. Or at least that's how they always came off to me. You know, some consider us Lace's to be supernatural beings due to our powers. I personally don't think seeing spirits is that big of a deal.

Why did you decide to be the next Bachelorette?

Isn't it obvious? I want to find love. A true love that lasts. I'm hoping to find my forever. I believe in soulmates. There's someone out there for everyone. I want to find my someone. Even if the means are a little untraditional.

Fern grew up in Willow Creek & was bounced around to different foster homes when her parents both passed away. Once she was old enough she spent her days globetrotting, learning skills & finding herself.
