I miss the iconic eras. The time of "The Slap"™. "The Train Station Scene".
Idk it really felt like we were going somewhere.

Quiet on Set
The documentary revealed some extremely shocking details. Personally I have felt disturbed after learning about everything that took place. How did Dan not know about Brian Peck being pen pals with a serial killer? Why did Disney hire Brian after he got out jail and how many more pedos did Disney hire??? And Penelope TAYNT?? For all these years i thought it was TATE. And all of those slang terms from iCarly and Victorious such as: Jank, Chiz, Wazbag, Gank, Grunch, What the Yuck, Hob-Knocker, Skunk bag. We all know what some stand for but now that I'm an adult revisiting all of this its actually disgusting. And Alexa Nikolas has been doing an AMAZING job exposing more predators. Check out her youtube channel she has covered so much about the documentary and so much more. She has shared her experience working with Dan and the cast of Zoey 101.
Tell me your thoughts on the documentary.

this isn’t really adding on to quinton reviews’ review but i wanted to say: he often mentions the gay vibe between the girls (tori and jade in season 3 plus in jade gets crushed and tori and cat in the skits on the slap where they get high in the middle of the night and be silly™) as if it’s “weird” (by that i mean ooc or smth) that that doesn’t carry on and isn’t acknowledged in the rest of the series, and while i agree that obviously it’s cause it’s ~2012 and nickelodeon can’t have a canonically queer character, even if it’s not explicit and only shown through innuendos (unless it’s for a brief comedic relief ofc), and i have no idea if they meant for all those scenes to seem gay to actively attempt to queerbait the audience or not (there’s a chance that some of them were just meant to be quirky yk), it still doesn’t count as a continuity error or as something that’s out of character. honestly i mentioned jori but i’m mostly thinking about tori x cat for this one. he acted as if their videos on the slap didn’t fit the narrative because tori and cat aren’t that close in the actual show, but i personally think that’s possibly still pretty realistic. when i was a teenager (mostly a tween, but still) sometimes i would have “dates” with friends that i hung out with and although we weren’t that close, we had this one mutual thing that briefly brought us together, and that was that we were gay and didn’t know what to do about it. so we would meet like at a sleepover or a house party or something, and when we were alone and slightly buzzed (cause we needled that as an excuse to why we were into it) we would make out and basically experiment on being with other girls, and then afterwards we’d pretend like it never happened. we would have the most intimate moments where it felt like we were best friends and had insane chemistry, and then later we’d just recollect ourselves into this sort of alternate personality where we were just really casual friends, and that’d be the end of it. so i could totally buy that from tori and cat. yeah i’m rambling at this point, but i just think their hinted making out sessions in the skits could totally be canon without it affecting the plot whatsoever.

It wasn't a mistake. The Satanic Cult of Scientology, a lot of whose members are Israeli, believe in pulling Humiliation Rituals, especially using Black talent. There is a growing list of recent 'Oops' moments which coincide with stepping on a Black artist's moment in the spotlight. jimmy kimmel and the stunt he and the chick from Abbott Elementary pulled, The Slap, which Will Smith and that idiot comedian pulled, the Kanye West and Taylor Swift thing, although that was more of an initiation for her. Steve Harvey is one of the biggest tools out there. He didn't FUCK UP. He stepped on Moonlight's moment, using their other favorite Lalaland coincidentally with emma stone and Canadian Ryan Gosling.
Dear God. The Oscars Twitter account even made sure to put their favorite tools in this picture.
