Finished watching this discussion about on stage chemistry/kissing/intimacy (which @hamish-linklater-btc posted on Instagram - thank you so much for finding/sharing!!) and it is so freaking fascinating to me.
Hamish has good thoughts and funny stories as usual, but to be honest I found the three women to be the most interesting to listen to, particularly Esther Perel, the woman in the middle, who is a couples/sexuality psychologist.
I kept pausing and going back to relisten to literally everything she said because every sentence blew my mind. (“In sexuality and in kissing lies two opposites, disgust and delight, depending on how it takes place.” “That’s why people go and find other lovers in the first place. Not so much because they’re looking for another person, they’re looking for another self.” And when she says something about how a long successful marriage is really like a series of different marriages with the same two people. Like 🤯. This woman’s brain is huge.) I’m now devouring a bunch of Esther’s articles and podcasts because she’s so incredibly good at articulating aspects of emotions and relationships that I know I’ve felt, but I’ve never known how to put into words.
Actors, writers, and psychologists talking about intimacy together is something I have craved because to me those three fields of study are so necessarily intertwined, but for some reason aren’t often brought together for discussions and things like this. I know people are worried about embarrassing themselves discussing it, or that they’re going to take the magic out of it and people won’t find the scenes as sexy to watch anymore....but the psychology of it!! Is so!! INTERESTING!!

In Mike Chen's novel he describes how young Obi's youthful enthusiasm was intoxicated by Satine's pacifist ideals and such but it's bs. Like, they try to tell you a story by piggy-back riding back and forth on other's stories and make it look compelling while in turn it ends up nothing but inconsistent and greatly OOC. TCW was another proof of that alone. Writers it seems are just writing for the sake of milking as much money as they can and what better way to do it than to shit on one of SWs most beloved characters, but NO the most important thing is Obi Wan HAS to have hundred love interests, be it legends or canon. Im so sick of writers atp. Movies and novel and TCW Obi Wan are like 3 different people most of the time. If i say i will take movies only as my canon then so be it, after all. Obi Wan being gay or even pansexual fits his character wayyy more than whatever heteronormative writers have "made" him out to be.
I totally get being frustrated by the state of publishing, and it is absolutely a great idea to take only the movies as canon!! I fully support this.
But I do want to say this in defense of the novel writers: it's not their fault. I think Disney is doing this thing they do where they hire a bunch of women, poc, and queer people who aren't established authors so that they can say they're seeking out "new voices", but then they sabotage those writers. Disney gets a good deal: they probably don't have to pay an unpublished queer woman as much as they would have to pay for the kinds of established white male sci fi authors who used to write Star Wars novels. It changes their market; tons of girls who read YA will buy these books, which seems to me (as a former librarian) a bigger market than the market of people who buy hard sci fi novels. And culturally speaking, hiring these kinds of authors silences complaints about the writing, because if I say "I hate the lesbian storyline in Ahsoka" or "I hate the writing in Mike Chen's Brotherhood" then it sounds like I'm the one who doesn't want diversity in Star Wars, that I'm ungrateful, and that Disney is too progressive for me lmao.
So I don't blame the authors. How are they sabotaged by Disney, you ask? Rushed deadlines I'm sure, a deplorable lack of editing support, and also the thing you're talking about: the task of not only writing a book, but having to work in propaganda to legitimize the new regime. I'm sure they are rewarded for having tie-ins to TCW or whatever new show is being released next.
I think it's totally valid to separate versions of characters and stick with one you like (though if you're splitting those hairs, then there's probably different characters between novels as well.) Personally, I enjoy the puzzle of finding the common denominators between all versions and settling on those as core character traits. I don't worry about the plot points, because those do change so much depending on who you ask, but it's super fun for me to imagine the Obi-Wan character that fits in Jedi Apprentice AND The Clone Wars, in Padawan AND Rogue Planet, in A New Hope AND the ROTS novelization. It's comforting to me that there are some common denominators: he maintains a calm demeanor, he senses/is anxious about future events, he has a wry and careful sense of humor, he thinks more than he talks, he is lonely, he is capable of suppressing his will in order to follow rules, he is self-sacrificing, and he does not think as highly of himself as others think of him.

Let's say there's this mental condition
It's not super rare, but many people have never heard of it and lots of people who have it keep quiet about it.
It also sounds cool. Most of that has to do with how unfamiliar it is, but also it just seems like something out of a movie. (Of course, that's not a surprise; Hollywood has intentionally been exploiting this and other mental conditions for ages).
What we have is a perfect storm for disorder faking. Disorder faking happens when, for one reason or another, someone claims to have a condition they do not. Usually this occurs with mental conditions, but can happen with physical ones. The reasons someone might fake a condition are varied and often illogical.
And I have been told it is a Serious Problem. The best solution appears to be to identify all the instances of disorder faking and make everyone aware that their behavior is a falsehood.
But um. How do we tell the false from the genuine? This condition is mental, with no direct physical symptoms. As I mentioned earlier, someone who wants to hide their condition can do so rather easily. So any and all evidence for having the condition is going to be filtered through the behavior and thoughts of the person who has it. And people are wildly different, and brains are highly unpredictable. Which means the outward appearance of the condition will very wildly depending on who you talk to. Even the condition itself will very in how the subject experiences it. With all this inconsistency, there is no reasonable way to differentiate false and genuine claims. You are just as likely to get a false positive as you are to get a correct positive, and you are just as likely to get a false negative as you are to get a correct one.
And uh, while we're asking questions, why are we doing this again? What does this solve? If your first reaction when encountering people who claim to have the disorder is to doubt them, and indirectly encourage other people to doubt them too, what effect is that going to have? Best case scenario, a bunch of irrational people get harassed for their behavior. Worst case scenario, you have created a group of self-styled advocates who go around scrutinizing every single person who claims to have the disorder looking for a single flaw that will let them dismiss them as a faker. Eventually the narrative about the condition is going to be that it is The Disorder People Fake. That lets people who would rather not think about the condition to dismiss the people who have it on the grounds that "they're probably just faking." In the limit of this, people conclude that the condition doesn't exist at all, and any hope of normalizing the condition and acceptance of it will be dashed.
So no, I don't think this is a Big Problem. I think a lot of the people you think you've nailed as fakers are perfectly genuine, and I think the knock-on effects of this hyper-vigilance are not worth whatever benefit you think it has.

Hi lovely! Only if you are still doing them, but could I please request a NSFW alphabet for Madara Uchiha? 😊 thank you!
Tumblr media
Madara Uchiha x Fem!Reader NSFW Alphabet
(Smutty goodness under the cut)
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Madara can be a bit distant after sex. If things got particularly rough (and they usually do) he’ll tell you how good you were for him. After that, he kind of likes to be loved on a bit.
Sex can be a very vulnerable act, and Madara can get a little overwhelmed because he’s not someone who is used to feeling vulnerable. Just let him lay his head on your chest while you play with his hair and listen to him talk quietly about what’s going through his mind.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
His eyes of course. They’re powerful and he can use them to memorize every inch of you. Not to mention they heighten his experience because he becomes so much more aware of your movements and reactions.
On his partner, it’s probably a tie between the hips and hands. He loves gripping onto your hips and guiding you against him. He also really just enjoys feeling your hands all over him whether your touches are gentle or rougher. He can’t choose, and honestly, he wouldn’t entertain such a silly topic even if you asked.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
Madara definitely wants to cum inside you. This stems from the fact that he’s got a super strong breeding kink. He’s a little bit obsessed with filling you with his seed then staying inside of you to make sure none of it drips out. If a single drop spills out he’ll be like, “So wasteful. Looks like we have to start again.”
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
He wants to have a threesome with you and Hashirama really badly. Once he’s super comfortable, he may mention it to you. If you’re not into it, he would never force you to do it. It’s just something he’d be really curious about, and maybe even consider a polyamorous relationship.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
He’s definitely got some experience. Mostly super casual and not exactly intimate. A one-night stand or quickie here and there. He’s learned a bit about what to do to please a partner, but in the past, he hasn’t actually cared much. Once he’s committed, he’ll have to learn how to be intimate.
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
In general, he prefers positions where he’s dominant. Even if you’re on top he’s gonna be holding onto you and taking charge. Doggy style might be his favorite. He’ll have one hand on your hips guiding you on his cock while the other hand is buried in your hair.
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
Madara doesn’t have much of a sense of humor. Sometimes you might find him amusing because he can be a little bratty if things aren’t going his way, but he wouldn’t be funny on purpose.
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
Madara isn’t super hairy. He has a dark line of hair leading into his pants to a nicely groomed patch of dark hair. He is very prideful about his appearance.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
Madara can be a mixed bag when it comes to intimacy. He can be a little distant at times, especially when the relationship is new. Just holding you down and pounding into you without much affection attached.
However, he does become more intimate once his feelings for you grow. In fact, he becomes downright passionate once he realizes he loves you. He’ll cling onto you and press kisses (and bites) to every inch of your skin. He’ll also become more vocal with praising you.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
Madara doesn’t masturbate very much. He has a lot of self-control, and would rather just wait until he can actually just have a proper fuck.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
Breeding kink is his absolute number one kink. Nothing turns him on more than fucking you and telling you how he’s going to fill you up with all of his cum. He’s also big into dominating you. Spanking, degradation, blindfolds, and bondage all come into play here. Overstimulation and edging both are things Madara is super into, and they often will come into play in tandem. He’ll edge you for ages until you’re begging him to let you cum. Then he’ll overstimulate you until you’re crying.
Madara will sprinkle some praise in there as well to remind you that no matter how much he talks shit during sex, he does really love you.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
The bedroom is his favorite place because he can really take his time with you. He’s not always that picky though. Sometimes if you’re both out and about and you start being bratty, he’s not above dragging you into the nearest alleyway and teaching you a lesson.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
When you’re being kind of a brat, he wants to teach you a lesson. If you wear a cute little outfit in front of other people and he notices others looking at you, he’ll definitely want to remind you who you belong to. The thought of having kids with you gets him going pretty easily too.
Deep down, Madara is kind of touch starved as fuck. If you show him any kind of affection, he will absolutely be weak. He won’t admit it, of course. The softer the affection the more it turns him on.
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
There’s not a lot that Madara wouldn’t do. Just like everyone, he has his limits. He wouldn’t be into ageplay, scat, or piss. He might get turned on by a bit of pain and seeing you cry when he’s overstimulating you, but he would never want to actually harm you in any way.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
He doesn’t actually have much of a preference. He enjoys both equally for different reasons. You having your mouth wrapped around his cock while he guides you and fucks your face is amazing.
However, he also loves going down on you. He’s very good at it and can have you tinkering on the edge of climax in minutes. He loves the control he has over you in that moment. The way you tug on his hair and beg him to let you cum. He could stay between your thighs like that for hours.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
He can switch the pace up pretty easily. It just depends on his mood. Sometimes he wants to be rough with you and have you begging for him to give you a break. Other times he just wants to take his time to kiss you all over and fuck you slowly.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
He’s very open to quickies, and it is a pretty common occurrence in your relationship. When Madara wants you, he wants you as soon as possible and wherever you can find privacy. He’s not picky about that.
Especially if he gets jealous. He has to have you as soon as possible to remind you (and kind of himself) that you’re his.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
He is absolutely game to experiment and take risks. (Especially if that risk could involve getting caught by Hashirama and him maybe joining.)
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
He can last as long as he wants. Madara is very good with edging himself and has a lot of self-control during sex. He is able to go at least three rounds if he wants.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Cuffs, ropes, blindfolds. Maybe a gag, but he won’t use it much because he likes hearing you beg. Maybe if you’re being too mouthy.
He’d much rather be the one using them, but if you play your cards right you might be able to finesse your way into using them on him.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Madara is the biggest fucking tease in the whole world. He just loves hearing you beg and the more desperate you are (especially if you cry) the more he enjoys it.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
He is pretty loud. Letting his moans of pleasure come out without much regard for if anyone might hear him. He also talks a lot during sex, and the things he’ll say will be inconsistent. One moment he’s telling you what a desperate little slut you are and then the next thing that falls out of his mouth is that you’re a good girl taking his cock so well.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
Madara really just loves boobs a lot. After sex he’ll often want to snuggle up against you and put his head on your chest. During foreplay, he’ll spend a lot of time kissing and massaging them. He’ll tease your nipples with his mouth. He just really loves boobs, and he doesn’t even care about the size. Big tits, small tits, tits somewhere in between. They’re all good to Madara.
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
Madara has a pretty big cock. Around 8 ½ inches and super thick. If you’re not super experienced beforehand, he’ll definitely have to ease it into you.
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
Madara has a super high sex drive, especially when things get serious enough for the possibility of having kids to come into the mix. He’s a little prideful, so he won’t admit how often he yearns for you. But he definitely does.
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
He doesn’t tend to fall asleep super easily after sex. In general, he doesn’t sleep much. So he’ll probably lay beside you for a long time just listening to you breathe or the two of you talking nonsense until you fall asleep.
A/N: Thank you for the request!

Podcasts you can Read
Looking through the podcasts in my subscription feed as well as ones I hear about most often to see if they have a transcript, how easy is it to find and access, and is it free (PS: if your transcript is behind a paywall, you’re the worst) All the transcript pages are hyperlinked to the podcast name if it exists and there is a collective location. The order is just the order in which I have listened to them recently, I’m just going through my podcast feed.  The access ranking has no reflection on the podcast, just how easy it was for me to find the transcript on the computer.
***I’m about to finish the semester, so I’m going to go through this list and revamp the criteria and also write up a google doc with the more organized list***
**This Is an Incomplete list of just the podcasts I have listened to, feel free to add your own or request me to do so through this form

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT GEMINI ZODIAC SIGN
Fickle, friendly, enthusiastic, and moody. Geminis are famously known for their numerous contradictions and the ease with which they can change their minds.
However, there's much more about them that meets the eye, and today we'll look at some fun facts about Geminis that you may not know about.
#1. Geminis are extremely independent.
Though they're a highly sociable sign, Geminis are very independent and will live their lives to the beat of their drum, even if that has the potential to cost them friendships.
They don't see the point in compromising their individuality just to gain other people's approval. They like hanging out with people, sure, but they don't need to.
#2. They're outspoken.
Geminis are quick to express themselves and talk their mind, even when it's not welcome.
What's more, they aren't afraid to talk for others, coming to other people's defense and speaking injustices again.
It's no wonder Geminis can make good activists and lawyers. They're not only amazing at arguing, but they also enjoy it!
#3. They can make friends anywhere.
Though they're capable of living life on their own, Geminis are so magnetic they find it easy to make friends no matter where they go.
Most friendships with a Gemini tend to be pretty superficial, though, at least at first. Geminis need more time to start caring about others, sincerely, but once they do?
You won't find better friends.
#4. Geminis are huge flirts.
Thanks to their magnetic personalities, Geminis are always being flirted on, and they genuinely see no problem with flirting back.
The way Geminis sees it is simple. If they don't cheat, then flirting is just harmless fun, a fun way to pass the time and nothing more.
#5. They're super inconsistent.
One moment they want something, the next they want something else; one day they think something is amazing, the next they just can't stand it.
Geminis are always changing their minds, which is why their Zodiac sign has more than one.
#6. They're huge overthinkers.
Part of the reason why Gemini is always changing their mind is that they always overthink everything, second-guessing their every choice and flip-flopping between alternatives until someone else makes a choice for them, or they run out of time.
#7. Geminis care more about actions than words.
Talk is cheap, and Geminis know it, so they tend to look at actions and base their opinions and decisions on those.
You can spin pretty tales and tell them all they want to hear, but Geminis won't fall for it; unless you talk the talk and walk the walk, you won't be able to fool them.
#8. They don't need people.
Though Geminis can be remarkably social, they can also be tremendously independent, which means that, while they enjoy other people's company, they don't depend on it.
They're so uncompromising in this aspect that they'd rather be alone than surrounded by people they don't like.
#9. They love arguing, and they're very good at it.
Thanks to their intellectual abilities and their ease of word, Geminis are capable of arguing about anything, at any time.
While this might sound exhausting to some, it's actually stimulating to them, so don't start anything with Gemini unless you're willing to be argued into submission.
#10. Geminis tend not to overreact to things.
Gemini is one of the most laid-back Zodiac signs, unwilling to take things too seriously or start drama at the drop of a hat.
Sure, they like arguing, but they do it because it's fun, not because they feel the need to make every situation worse.
People who just create drama for drama's sake, or who like to blow things out of proportion stress Gemini and Geminis don't like unnecessary stress in their lives.
#11. Geminis love commitment.
Though they adore flirting, Geminis are big on commitment.
They take relationships seriously from day one, and they don't start anything unless they're confident they want things to last.
They might be flirts, but they're not players.
By the same token, Geminis may be tolerant of their partners flirting with others, but the moment that flirting turns into something more serious, they'll call the relationship off without hesitation.
#12. They can be tremendously moody.
While Geminis are pretty relaxed individuals, the truth is that they can be quite moody, often going from happy to sad, and sad to happy, with seemingly no warning whatsoever.
It can all be traced back to their overthinking. They're not just changing their mood out of the blue, but instead based on conclusions they've reached while underthinking everything under the sun.
#13. They don't fall in love easily.
Because they're so independent and critical, Geminis aren't likely to fall blindly in love.
In fact, they find it hard to fall in love at all.
This isn't to say that they don't love people, or that they can't find love, but rather than they're a lot more realists about romance than others.
#14. They have very high standards.
Geminis aren't willing to settle in any aspect of their lives, as it goes against their nature.
They're not perfectionists, but they know what they want, and they'd rather not get it at all than settle for less than what they want.
This goes double for relationships. A Gemini would rather be single than be with someone less than ideal.
#15. There's little they won't do for their loved ones.
While Geminis won't fall in love at the drop of a hat, once they're in love, there's little they won't do or sacrifice for their partner.
The same applies to friendships and family relationships. Geminis may be independent, but their close friends and family are incredibly important to them.
#16. They tend to focus on the big picture.
Despite their overthinking, Geminis don't focus on details too closely and instead look at the big picture.
As long as things go like they planned, they can easily ignore small mistakes. They're very adaptable.
#17. They're eager to try new things.
Geminis can't stand being bored, which means they're always looking for new hobbies and activities to keep their life interesting.
This makes them excellent at multitasking and managing different activities at once, though it also means they leave a trail of unfinished or abandoned projects more often than not.
#18. Anxiety is a big problem amongst Geminis.
Because of their constant need for stimulation and their energetic personalities, Geminis tend to suffer from anxiety-related disorders.
This can be easily managed with exercise and hobbies but can lead to serious health issues if Gemini doesn't find a good and healthy outlet for their anxiety.

Kitten // Kim Younghoon
"Your dirty, slutty dream came true, babygirl."
- hard rough dom younghoon
- smut with no plot whatsoever
- thank you to my subconscious for giving me dreams about this
- and thank you 🌙 anon for giving me more and more ideas relating to this and coaxing me on with this whole scenario and getting me super needy and inspired to actually write this out. you're a real one
- "accidental" miniature voyeurism w jacob
- choking
- oral (fem rec)
- unprotected sex WRAP IT BEFORE YOU TAP IT
- filthy
- degradation
- fluff near the end if you turn your head and squint
- usually i leave the first line before the cut, but since this one jumps right in with the smut i don't think i'm gonna leave the first line lmao
- the title is rlly just bc this is the first time i've properly used the pet name "kitten" in my writing lol
Tumblr media
He presses on my back, arching it further, before returning his hand to my hip.
Younghoon is slamming his body against mine at a rapid pace, hitting extremely deep every time. With my back arched more, he can now reach even further inside me.
Explicits roll off my tongue and I press my face into the sheets to muffle my sounds. My hands are grabbing and clawing at the sheets like my life depends on it.
My his sweatshirt is still on my body, but bunched up. The only part of me that isn't exposed is my chest, a bit of my back, and my arms. Meanwhile, he's still fully clothed, with his pants just low enough to have his cock out.
He actually likes to use the excuse that he's self-conscious, but I know full well that he isn't insecure at all around me or any of the guys anymore. I can also just tell when he's lying. I think he doesn't wanna admit that he finds it super hot to fuck me with as many clothes left on as possible. I'm not gonna complain though. It is pretty hot.
My vision is starting to get blurry, and my body almost feels numb to my mind. All I can think about is how good he's making me feel.
He's mostly silent, letting out a few low grunts and growls, unless he's talking to me.
He digs his fingers into me, clearly starting to lose himself in the feeling.
My body jolts with each thrust from him, but only slightly, thanks to his ever-tightening grip on my hips.
I stare at the door, which is wide open, as I have been almost the entire time Younghoon's been drilling into me like this.
I've been waiting and waiting for someone to walk by and see way more than they bargained for.
I'm sure they've been avoiding walking this way though, as the sounds have definitely given away what's taking place.
My whining, my muffled moaning and screaming, his grunting, and skin against skin...
So, I'm not sure why Jacob ends up walking by the door... or why he stands there and watches for a moment, frozen, locking into my tear-filled eyes.
I struggle as I try to prop myself up on my elbows, trying to at least be in a position that wasn't so humiliating.
Younghoon is quick to notice this, and notice why I'm doing it.
"Your dirty, slutty dream came true, babygirl. Someone caught you." He says in the most condescending way possible before going even harder and faster (which I didn't think was even possible).
My arms go entirely weak and my face falls back onto the mattress with an embarrassing, involuntary cry of pleasure.
Jacob quickly realizes he's been watching, and turns to leave, but not before accidentally letting his smirk show.
"Did you notice how hard he was getting, kitten? I bet he's going to his room to jerk off thinking about you getting ruined like this..." I clench around Younghoon at his words. "Oh, you like that, you slut?" His hands leave my hips, one of them wrapping around my stomach and the other wrapping around my neck. He tightens both grips and pulls my body up to be as far against his as possible without pulling out.
Younghoon's sweet, yet (in this context) demonic voice whispers in my ear.
"I hope you always remember that you're only mine to ruin." He emphasizes words with hard thrusts. "You know I'm the only one who can make you feel like this, don't you, kitten?"
All I can force out of my mouth is mumblings and whispered moaning, my brain entirely going haywire as his hold on my neck tightens again and he thrusts up into me.
My legs feel like gelatin.
"I've got you speechless, huh?" He lets go of me, let's my almost limp body fall back onto the mattress before grabbing my hips again, and drills into me.
He's truly showing no mercy.
"Tell me, kitten... do you think Jacob would fuck you like this?"
"N...No-" I barely squeeze out.
"Who fucks you like this, huh? Say his name."
"Y-Younghoon..." It comes out like a whisper.
He digs his fingers into me again, on purpose this time.
"Say it loud, you slut. Who?"
"Younghoon!" It would have taken all of my energy to scream his name the way I did, but it didn't. He started to rub circles on my clit while still pounding into me, causing me to scream his name naturally.
I can feel his ego rise by the second.
He gives me no warning, besides his thrusts becoming jerky and inconsistent, before he coats my insides with his cum.
He pulls out once he's done and I whine, being so close to my own release and suddenly having nothing.
My hand reaches down to touch myself, but he grabs my wrist and pushes my arm away. Younghoon flips me over and within seconds has his mouth attached to my pussy.
I swear that we're gonna get a noise complaint because my hand is doing a really shitty job at covering my screams and moans as Younghoon licks and sucks on me, pulling me closer and closer to the orgasm of a lifetime.
My toes are curled tight and my chest rises and falls intensely.
He's told me a million times when he's being this rough that I'm not allowed to touch any of him without permission, so no matter how badly I wanna tug on his hair, I resist.
One hand holds tightly to the sheet while the other one covers my mouth.
Younghoon glances up at me and grabs my hand, pulling it away from my mouth and holding me by the wrist.
He stops just long enough to say:
"Be loud, kitten. I love hearing your voice."
His lips wrap around my clit and he sucks hard, finally allowing my orgasm to wash over my exhausted body hard, and I moan his name loudly.
There's no way that a single person in the house isn't aware of what's just happened.
He licks between my folds to help me come down from my high, careful to avoid my clit so he doesn't overstimulate me too much.
"Younghoon!" Sangyeon's voice yells from across the house. "Did you forget about the Love Revolution cast event tonight? Jihoon's outside with his car to pick you up!"
"Oh shit..." Younghoon's eyes go wide and he quickly starts taking off his casual clothes. "Tell him I'll be there in just a minute!"
I laugh when he falls over trying to pull his sweatpants off, and he remembers my presence. "Babygirl, I'm so sorry I have to just leave you like this." He rambles as he gets dressed in some nice clothes as fast as possible. "Don't go home, stay here tonight. I promise when I get back I'll cuddle you and give you kisses and talk to you as long as you want. I'm so sorry, I know it's just terrible of me to be that rough and then immediately leave you. You know I wanna be here to care for you-"
"Younghoon, shut up." I chuckle, sitting up on the bed. "I do know you wanna stay, but you have responsibilities. It's okay, really. I'll be here when you get back, baby. Just have a fun night with your cast-mates, okay?"
He finished tying his shoe and sighs, coming over to me and landing a sweet kiss on my lips. I can still taste myself on him.
"I love you." He says with the most thankful and gratitude, as if to imply a "what did I do to deserve you?".
"I love you, too."
"Kim Younghoon!" This time it's Jihoon's voice, clearly coming from the front door.
"Coming!"
Younghoon hurries out of the room and I notice he left so fast that his phone is still sitting the bedside table.
I grab it and follow after him, silently thanking this sweatshirt for being long enough to fully cover my bare body. My legs are still pretty much fully exposed, but as long as no one sees me walking around with my ass hanging out, that's fine by me.
"Younghoon! Phone." He turns and I toss his phone to him, which he catches swiftly.
"Thanks, baby. See you later."
"Have fun!"
I feel a few pairs of eyes on me and look around to notice Kevin, Chanhee, Sangyeon, and Jihoon all staring at my legs.
"Park Jihoon!" Younghoon mocks Jihoon's tone from before.
"S-Sorry!" Jihoon follows Younghoon out the door, but Younghoon quickly peeks his head back in before the door shuts.
"No one touches my girlfriend or they're dead, got it? But look at her all you want." He tosses me a teasing look and a wink, finally closing the door behind him.

Name changes in dubs always seem to make things super confusing, because then you have to remember two sets of names, (especially when one of your friends only watched dub), and sometimes some of the name changes are really confusing, (Yugioh has Fubuki to Atticus and I have no idea how they got Atticus from Fubuki), and then there's Koushiro to Izzy(?) Is it because his last name is Izumi? Confusing. And then there's Iori to Cody, I guess it slightly sounds like it but???
It's tough! Fortunately, I'm someone who knows this franchise deeply enough to have everything committed to memory, and I'm unfazed by someone using dub names when talking to me (I'm personally habituated into the Japanese names so I respond using them, but I honestly don't mind or care whatever people use when talking to me as long as they also understand me back in turn), but it's a tough thing to keep track of.
I think the part that really makes it confusing is that some people have this idea that someone using the dub names is coming from the American English dub version of things, complete with its major changes, but that's not necessarily the case (since some of those dub names were used in other countries, but their translated scripts are more accurate to the Japanese version). Argh.
To be fair, this is something that matters more with a franchise so dependent on an anime, where a lot of people will start taking an interest in the original Japanese version (partially because the American English dub changed so much, but also partially because they want to hear the original voice actors). For instance, since Pokémon is mostly based off a game series, most people are fine using localized Pokémon species names, especially since said games are usually pretty closely translated. With Digimon, on top of its anime dependence, we also have Bandai being painfully inconsistent about its Digimon species names, so it becomes a mess to the extent that a lot of people will start moving to the Japanese version for sheer reasons of consistency, but as you said, it makes it harder to keep up with people who are (quite understandably!) not willing to make as extreme of a shift.

I really hope this isn’t offensive but I’m having a hard time understanding why some people believe the gods are loving and kind when, in mythology, they’re usually quite the opposite. & if mythology is just a story, how do you validate your experience with the divine. how do you know you’re actually communicating with the gods vs other spirits & entities? if we have nothing to test your experiences against, then how do we discern what we’re seeing is true? I’m so lost and new to paganism!!
The problem here is that you’re putting WAY too much emphasis on mythology and giving it way more credit than it derserves.
Since you’re new to this tho that’s not surprising because unfortunately most of us come into this religion equating mythology to some kind of Ancient Greek Bible which it’s soooooo far from.
Mythology first and foremost is extremely inconsistent. The gods behave differently depending on the version of the story being told or the author writing the story. Just looking at Homer and Heisod showcases this point perfectly. Even Homer has inconsistencies in his works. So if mythology doesn’t have any consistency in their explanations on who the gods are and how they behave how is it a good source for that?? How can I use it as a basis to judge my own experiences??
Secondly, when understanding Ancient Greek culture and history. You can clearly see the function of mythology and that it’s not “how to understand the gods” guidebook. Mythology was entertainment. Remember, Netflix wasn’t invented yet so they orally told stories. Fantastical, over the top, dramatic stories. You know exactly what we do today. Also every notice that A LOT of mythology has to do with amazing demigod babies being born in specific lands that the story very well makes sure to mention??? Yeah that’s done on purpose. Because again the story isn’t about the gods. It’s about the children they produce and the awesome things they do and the kingdoms they form. It’s about legitimacy.
Thirdly, we all have to stop seeing the Ancient Greeks has having a hive mind where they believed all the same things and worshiped the gods in the same way. Those of you who know me already know who I’m about to mention because I will always bring him up whenever I can. My boy Socrates was NOT a fan of how the gods were portrayed in Homer and Hesiod’s works and he thought exposing those works to the youth was going to give them a bad impression of the gods. Socrates believed the gods were loving and why did he believe that?? Oh because of his OWN EXPERIENCES, specifically with Apollo. Not to mention he also saw that the Athenian government was being super corrupt and controlling but that’s not what we’re talking about here. My point is that here we have an ancient (and a very VERY well respected and famous ancient) saying that mythology is a bad representation of the gods and should not be taught to children because of it. And he died because of that belief because the Athenian government saw him as dangerous since you know mythology can be used to keep people in line. Oh sound familiar?? Kind of like what people do now in our community today?
And lastly, if you look at the ACTUAL religion not the mythology, you will see how the Ancient Greeks truly saw their gods. Looking at their epithets you see plenty of aspects of who they are and represent that mythology doesn’t even begin to touch or people choose to gloss over. Seeing the festivals they celebrated, the poems they wrote, and the way they spoke about the gods you can clearly see that they loved their gods.
This all right here that I just laid out is me wanting you to see that there is a lot you think you know which is likely not accurate and there is a lot you don’t know at all that you need to learn. And I say this not as a judgement but as someone who was once in your shoes. This is an odyssey that we all have to take. The realization that we really know absolutely nothing about Ancient Greece and the gods. Which is why our community is constantly pushing the concept of research on everyone!
You won’t know until you know and the only way to know is to go seek out the knowledge! Pretty sure Apollo said that once.
Anyway, to help you on your odyssey, i have a podcast called Tea With the Gods that I believe is a good starting point. I am of course bias but I can say that I’ve gotten a ton of positive feedback so I like to think it’s helpful! 🤣

HEY YOU!
If you’re a person like me and like playing Magic: the Gatherings sometimes you get burnt out on constant releases and inconsistent gameplay.
I’ve gathered a list o games here that might interest you depending on what in MTG you like!
When you play EDH do you like the wacky decks that come to the table? The weird strategies and watching your own plan come to fruition?
Tumblr media
Villainous is a wonderful, flavorful romp where each player takes the reins of a Disney villain on their own thematic board and attempts to execute their plan. Each villain deck plays radically different from the other and there’s some 12 different villains as of now. Its a well balanced romp as games usually come to a head with each player on the cusp of completing their goal. I highly recommend picking up the expansion containing Yzma, its good stuff.
Do you like deckbuilding? Amassing the right cards for a well oiled machine?
Tumblr media
Dominion is the tabletop for you! Starting with a deck of 10 cards can you work your way through the available lot of cards to make a fine-tuned machine? Dominon has countless expansions lending it to near infinite combinations of cards for deckbuilding puzzle after puzzle.
Or do you like drafting? Making picks to forward your goals?
Tumblr media
Seven Wonders is what you’re looking for! Seven Wonders is a draft style game of 3 rounds where you draft different cards for gains in military, science, gold, and sometimes just bulk points. It has a touch of a learning curve as rules are represented by symbols and not text, but after a starting round its easy to get a grasp of. Plus, this can hold up to seven players!
Tumblr media
Special recommendation to Seven Wonders: Duel for being there for you when you and your buddy want to draft but no one’s available.
Maybe you like reading the boardstate and making plays based on that?
Tumblr media
Smash Up is some goofy fun. There are multiple factions here: robots, ninjas, dinosaurs with lasers, zombies, bear cavalry, and you take two decks and shuffle them together. That’s your deck! Do you combine zombie reanimation with robot’s ability to spit small minions out quickly? Or do you make time traveling super apes who bolster their power while rewinding plays? There’s a lot of field manipulation and play among the Bases that score points, its a joy.
But maybe you aren’t in EDH for the literal gameplay. No. You’re a person of culture. You’re here for the politics.
Tumblr media
Have you ever wanted to bribe and lie your way around your friends and the law? Here it is! Sheriff of Nottingham is a game where each player bundles up to 5 cards in their “bag” and passes it to the sheriff for inspection. That’s when deals begin. You can bribe and/or talk your way out of sticky situations and make good with the sheriff. Or rip them off. This game has a simple set of rules that allows it to be rife with mind games.
But maybe you need more than politics. You need to dig a knife into your buddy’s back just as they’re about to succeed.
Tumblr media
Prepare to die. I was skeptical of Bloodborne’s card game but its quickly become one of my favorites if not the favorite tabletop game of mine. Hunters fight beasts together eager to dig in damage for the most blood. Turns go with a horrible abomination being revealed. You have a hand of up to 7 cards and each player chooses one to play. They flip. The monster attacks, with dice that allow a potential lethal combo on all hunters with a stroke of bad luck. Then the hunters strike. Damage takes blood echoes and the most blood at the end wins. Cards sabotage and harm opponents, the expansion’s Church Cannon laying waste to careless hunters. I highly recommend giving this a look and getting this with the Hunter’s Nightmare expansion. The new weapons, consequences for death, and bosses add a lot to the game. And with multiple big bad final bosses to pick it has a lot of replay value.
Sometimes you don’t want to be violent. You don’t want to use the EDH side of your brain. You want to be a series of fluffy bunnies looking at dreamlike art arguing “that isn’t at all what “Locked” looks like!!”
Tumblr media
Dixit is a very right-brained card game, in that you’ll be flexing creative muscles instead of abstract ones. The active player puts a card facedown and describes it. Each opponent puts a card down that matches the description. If all players guess correctly or incorrectly the active player is awarded zero points, the key is to trick just a few players into guessing your card but not all of them. And if you like this check out the equally artsy Mysterium.
I really like tabletop, and this is just a slice of games relevant to MTG. If any of these sound interesting to you absolutley check them out, I recommend everything on this list.

Pokemon Journeys’ Bea.... Kinda Sucks
Tumblr media
Hello again! After a weekend of contemplating, I’ve decided to write a little blog review of Pokemon Journeys’ version of Bea from SwSh. Originally, I was planning to do after we get a bit more episodes of Bea, but with all the leaked episode titles we’ve been getting, I’ve got a feeling we won’t see this lady until sometime at late-February, or even March, so let’s just get this outta the way now.
Also, please note that since Bea has only made two actual appearances in the anime, many of the points I will talk about will be subject to change depending on how the writers will handle her in the future, but with all that said, let’s get right to it.
Before we begin, let me just say this: in the games, I find Bea okay. And in Twilight Wings, I love her character and I feel she had a great amount of focus and depth. However, in the anime, I find her.... a little lame. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate her or anything and I feel she has a ton of great potential. So much so, that she could honestly surpass her Twilight Wings variation, but as of now, I’ve got some problems with her.
Problem #1: Her Goal/Motivation
So my first major problem with her character is her goal. Like almost every other trainer we’ve seen in Journeys, Bea wants to rise her rank in the World Coronation Series so that she can battle Leon and take his place as the world’s strongest trainer. But here’s my question for though: Why? Why do you want to be seen as the world’s strongest trainer?
In many past regions, almost all of Ash’s past rivals had the “what” to their goals: Conquering a regional league. However, many of them also had different “why’s” that added to their own motivation. Paul had a brother to prove himself stronger than, Alain had his whole thing with solving the secrets of Mega Evolution for Lysandre as well as finding a way to cure Chespie’s coma, and Gladion wanted to find his dad. From Bea, I’m literally getting nothing from her. Does she have a master she wants to prove herself to? Well, we later find out she trained under Johto’s Chuck, but that’s all really. Does she have some kind of troubling childhood where she was initially seen as weak by her peers, and now with the chance in hand, she can prove everyone wrong by becoming the world’s strongest trainer? As interesting as that sounds, that doesn’t seem to be the case, either.
Without any proper motivation, I have no reason to care for her goals. Please, writers, in her next appearance, please give us the “why” to her actions and not the “what”. Bea has a really cool design, so this is your chance in giving her a cool backstory to boot.
Problem #2: Her Team Sucks
As I’ve mentioned, Bea wants to conquer her way through the World Coronation Series and take Leon’s place. And how is she gonna do that? With a team of all-fighting types? That’s not good enough!
Fighting types are awesome undoubtedly, but like all types, they have their weaknesses. Imagine if Bea faced off against a trainer who, in turn, had a team of all fairy, flying, psychic, or ghost types. She would be completely screwed and she must’ve been pretty lucky to reach her current World Coronation status with a team like hers. There’s honestly a huge list of trainers I can think of who could completely screw Bea over, like Agatha, Skyla, or Sabrina. Heck, if you really think about it, if she were to face Leon, who we know possesses a Dragapult and Charizard, she honestly wouldn’t get far due to Dragapult’s half ghost typing and Gigantamax Charizard crushing her team like ants because it’s a flippin’ half flying giant. And if she were to take Leon’s place, it probably wouldn’t last long since someone can easily identify her preferred type and screw her over with the typings I’ve previously mentioned.
As a matter in fact, let’s imagine a what-if scenario: Ash using Gengar against her Grapploct, who the anime seems to be emphasizing as one of her strongest Pokemon. Looking up her Grapploct’s moveset in the anime, Detect would only delay the inevitable and Close Combat and Octolock wouldn’t do anything due to Gengar’s ghost typing, leaving Liquidation as the only option Grapploct would have to hurt Gengar. Meanwhile, all of Gengar’s own moves can easily affect Grapploct, especially Psychic. And before you bring up the time Gengar lost to Korrina’s Mienshao, keep in mind this, he was taken down by a Beat Up attack, a dark type move that’s honestly pretty broken if you think about it. Does Grapploct know any dark type moves? Nope. Would any of her other Pokemon know some? Most likely, but my point still stands that, with the right mon, you can easily screw up her own team.
That’s why many Champions and Elite Trainers have well-diversed teams. Because if they just stuck to one type, then someone could easily take advantage of that. Many of Ash’s past rivals also had well-diversed teams to keep the stakes high whenever Ash battled them, just look at Gary, Paul, Trip, Sawyer, and Alain. Speaking of stakes...
Problem #3: The Stakes Are Kinda Small
As I just mentioned, because of how straightforward her team is, the stakes of her and Ash’s rivalry are honestly kind of small in that regard. But that’s not all. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but in all of her battles against Ash so far, I still don’t feel the reason to take her seriously.
Going back in her debut appearance, before her battle against Ash starts, she states that she previously beaten Korrina and called her ‘weak’. And to that, all I have to say, so? Ash has already beaten her a while back, and then he became a champion, and then he beaten her again. I have no idea what you’re exactly trying to prove with that, Bea. Not to mention, we didn’t even get to see who she used against Korrina and her Mega Lucario. Was it someone in her current roster or perhaps a secret weapon? Why would you hide this from us, writers?
Anywayz, going into the battle itself, Ash lost without defeating a single Pokemon. ...Yeah, I’m still not seeing the reason why I should take her seriously, considering the only mons Ash used were little baby Riolu and newcomer Farfetch’d. If it were a three-on-three with Ash using Dragonite, but he still lost, then I would see Bea as a big threat to his goals, but no. And while the lost did lower Ash’s own rank, be quickly raised it back up off-screen by her next appearance, so I guess that wasn’t much of a big deal overall.
In their next battle, Ash used Pikachu and Riolu again and it ended up in a draw, affecting neither of their ranks. Even with a draw, I don’t see any reason to take Bea seriously. While she managed to take down Pikachu, it should be noted that it took two of her Pokemon to do the job, plus Pikachu’s one of the most inconsistent characters in history, so him losing to Grapploct doesn’t really bring in a lot of stakes. And since Riolu and Grapploct tied, that pretty much spoils the fact that Ash’s aura dog will most likely take the W in one of their next battles, especially since Riolu has now evolved into Lucario.
Most rivals in the past usually consistently beat Ash a few times in a row to really set up the stakes for their rivalry. It would add interesting conflict and dynamic in their final confrontation, but considering the recent tie and that Ash only used his two newest mons in their first battle, I don’t really care about Bea as a rival. Not to mention, it took two mons to take down Pikachu, Dragonite and Gengar’s typings royally screw her over, Lucario’s evolution and Farfetch’d’s future one might set them up to be equal or even stronger than her mons, and Dracovish has the potential to be an absolute tank.
Final Points
Overall, with what we’re given so far, Bea kind of sucks as a rival. We don’t have any motivation or depth, her team sucks, and there aren’t really many stakes. She’s pretty much the generic mean boss lady we will have to defeat by the end of the journey. I honestly get a lot more stakes from FF7′s Turks.
But is she the worst rival that Ash has ever gotten? Not by a long shot, especially since the likes of Nando and Cameron exist omg Cameron why do you exist? And like I said, since she’s only made two appearances, there’s still a lot of room for improvement, so many of my issues with her could change over time. I just wanted to get this off of my chest and hopefully provide some insight to my fellow fans on how Bea could become a better character in the anime.
Though, I kind of feel there could be some better directions with her. Even if we get more development, her team will suck by the end of the day, so why not make her a rival for Korrina? They’re both fighting type specialists who aim to be the strongest, plus you could pull off a super cool rivalry over which is stronger; Mega Evolution or Gigantamaxing, with Lucario and Machamp respectively. I honestly feel Hop would be a better rival for Ash due to similar personalities, goals, and diversity in teams. Assuming Hop exists in the anime verse, of course.
If you made it this far, thank you very much for reading my thoughts over Journeys’ Bea! Please feel free to follow for more anipoke content! (am i cool already)

I also don't think ableds on this hellsite realize that they don't fucking know what my needs are or what my "functioning level" is
All my mental energy goes into the posts I make. I only know how to communicate like this because I have to and also because this is written and I have time to think and only have to use my fingers to type.
IRL? I talk too slow and too fast, I stumble over words, I repeat things. I make all the "cringey" sounds like the howling noises or the weird humming autistic people do.
And much of my vocabulary is repeated things, quotes from media, saying the same words back to people, or saying simple word responses over and over (anyone who talks to me casually will hear thousands of the word "valid" because often my brain can't form other words.)
I also have little control over the things I say, such as the fact I say the fuck word in formal settings because I can't filter for occasion or my "tone" is entirely inconsistent and often has nothing to do with what I'm feeling. My words and mannerisms are not convenient and they are not the rehearsed and direct quality that I give here.
And that's when I'm verbal often times my mouth refuses to let me use it, sometimes my throat doesn't want to make the sound. So I either stay quiet or use an app or use text instead, it doesn't mean I have nothing to say and it doesn't mean that those words have less meaning than these.
I have yet to get my highschool diploma and I cannot travel alone, make and keep doctors appointments, do basic research, and in many cases make logical decisions. Despite being in my 20s I have less than a shred of independence and it's not super likely I'm going to get it if I try to do so in the way ableds expect me to.
The only privilege I really have in regards to this conversation on support needs and dependence is that I have enough ability to speak to advocate for myself and that's conditional, it's dependant on my ability to meet the constant pressures on me and to appeal to abled people enough they'll spare me for a little longer.
When I speak about this shit it's because I fucking experience it! Do not assume you know peoples needs based on tumblr textposts you absolute fuckwits/nbh

For anonymous: a series of answers/clarifications/amendments on The Goldenrod Revisions! (I've answered these all in one post just to make it easier). Thank you so much for the asks, this helped me a) clarify my thoughts b) solve some canon continuity issues so I really appreciate them!
THANK U for agreeing to answer my questions! I'll have to ask them separately so they're not in 1 super-long impossible-to-read ask. I have 3 about 15x19, 1 about 15x20, 2 about 15x21, 2 about 15x22, and 2 about 15x23. quick disclaimer: i don't mean any offense at all by my question count! I didn't even notice these oddities the first time I read this; once I read it and accepted it as the true canon, I took a closer look and then noticed. but plz don't think these made your fic any less great!!
No worries anon! It is literally my pleasure to answer them and I am VERY very happy to find discrepancies with canon in the fic - then I can hopefully fix them and make the fic better :) Also I really appreciate the very systematic way you laid all these out, it really helped me reply, and also subsequently make a couple of edits to the fic!
For 15x19:
1. Why did Chuck trust Michael with the task of killing Jack? As God he should know Michael betrayed him in 15.08; did he expect Michael to disobey him again?
I think in this case we're/Chuck is relying on knowledge from the canon 15.19, i.e. Chuck would assume the outcome predicted by the show - that Michael WOULD betray the Winchesters/the world in order to please his father. So God assumed Michael would act the way he did in Inherit The Earth. But additionally, Chuck isn't actually very keyed-in to his own characters' motivations (esp. when love is involved) or very attached to certain results - he basically sends Michael and Lucifer to kill Jack because he figures it will entertain him no matter what happens - whether Michael and Lucifer kill each other, whether they kill the Winchesters/Jack, etc. - either Jack dies this way or Chuck will think of another way to do it.
2. How was Sam able to kill Lucifer? It was said only an archangel could kill another archangel with the archangel blade; was this a total lie or could Sam do it since he's Lucifer's true vessel? (plz don't change it to have Michael kill him; Sam being the one to do it was perfect, I just wanna understand how he could do it).
So glad you raised this because I honestly totally forgot! But now that you have, I have corrected that lore continuity with a line about biblical metaphors.
3. How is Rowena alive? She said she was dead in 15.08, so I initially assumed as a witch and the Queen of Hell she found a way to travel between Hell and Earth despite being dead. But then Sam says "Michael could've killed you" and then Chuck kills her twice in 15.21, both of which indicate she's alive here - does this mean Michael resurrected her when she summoned him?
God okay this is like - please call me out if this is incorrect or still confusing - but it's kind of like, based on the very inconsistent and confusing lore of the SPN afterlife that I assume Rowena is 'dead' but also 'alive' in the sense that Crowley was 'alive' and is now 'dead'. Does that make sense? She's not 'alive' as a human but rather as a demon (or something like it). So as Queen of Hell and a presumably demonic-adjacent entity, when she's 'killed' she gets sent to the Empty now vs. being 'killed' as a human and going to Heaven/Hell. (Based on when we see her in Hell, I assume she possesses her own body? Unclear. Just go with it. They've never been great with what it means to show vessels in Heaven/Hell etc.)
4. I thought asked all I wanted to know about Goldenrod but I just thought of 1 more thing: I don’t get why some dialogue implies Michael was dead? He mentions how he “found himself back on Earth” and tells the Empty it couldn’t stop Chuck from resurrecting him & Lucifer, but prior to 15.19 we last saw Michael leaving the bunker with Adam alive and well in 15.08, and it seemed like he was gonna stay on Earth for Adam’s sake. So what happened to him?
Oh that's a great point! I think that is actually just a confusing choice on my part that Chuck killed absolutely everyone including Michael/Adam in 15.18 Despair and THEN chose to resurrect Michael (but not Adam) alongside Lucifer when he was bored/wanting to kill Jack. I made some slight adjustments in-text to hopefully make it less confusing because I know that's different to the lore of canon 15.19 Inherit the Earth.
For 15x20:
1. How did the angels and demons in the Empty wake up? Did Michael use the last of his grace to wake everyone up? Were they already awake thanks to Jack blowing up in 15x18 or did they somehow sleep through that? (Not expanding on the Empty's claim that "you made it loud" is one of countless things I'll never forgive the actual show for, so THANK YOU for taking the show back to the Empty in the first place; I was just curious about this one element.)
So the Empty was already 'loud' according to canon, but since canon is vague on what exactly that means (thank you writers!...) I got the impression it meant the Empty wasn't 'peaceful' anymore but still powerful enough to suppress the beings inside, like the beings in there were awake and suffering but unable to rebel. Sort of what we see with Cas in this version of 15.20. Maybe like, additional suffering in sleep paralysis? Regardless, Michael does expend his grace to weaken the Empty enough that other beings wake up and/or are able to fight back and exist outside their own personal nightmare chamber. So whatever your impression of 'loud' is with regards to the other beings in there, assume Michael was able to free them from the Empty's control.
For 15x21:
1. Having Jack & Amara take out Hell & Purgatory was a BRILLIANT idea; I love that they ended all the places of suffering and changed the system. I just wonder - what happened to the souls and the demons still in Hell at that point, and the Leviathans and other monsters still in Purgatory? Were they just wiped out completely and sent to the Empty? Or did Jack turn them human and add them to the cycle? (I don't think the show clarified whether or not Leviathans have souls, so...)
No matter whether they were monster or demon or even angel, they would eventually be given human life. I broke it down to 'human enough souls' vs. 'not human enough souls'. Human-enough were immediately brought to life with memories and versions of their original bodies, and not-human-enough were sent to the Soul Queue to be born as infants. I assume Leviathan and most demons fall into 'not human enough', therefore, whatever tiny microbe of personality/soul they had was added to the cycle of rebirth and would be translated to a new human soul. Of course this might have a WILDLY different impact on the world depending on how many people go to hell in this system, how many people were 'human enough', etc.... But we're basically fudging those numbers a bit one way or another just to give certain characters the revival they deserve haha.
2. Did Cas drown and die after Chuck threw him in the lake and Jack left their limbo-dream world? If so, did he go through the same question-&-answer situation with Death that Sam & Dean did? Or was he with Jack & Amara when they rebuilt the world?
Cas was already dead/dying even when he was talking to Jack, he was sort of in a different version of the 'Veil' per se. VERY wishy-washy, but basically he and Jack were on a different dream-plane that they were jolted to in the chaos of the disorganised no-Death world.
I think Cas, Rowena, Lucifer, Michael, etc. as beings who were killed after the snap is a bit ambiguous. Rowena and Lucifer, I think, as entities who were demonic-dead or Empty-level-dead pre-Snap probably went through the reincarnation Yes/No Death questionnaire. Cas and Michael might not have since they were technically 'alive' and human before the Snap. Regardless, I think they probably wouldn't remember the interaction even if they had it.
The reason the question happened to the Winchesters AND that they remember it is Main Character Syndrome... they were the only people left alive when Jack and Amara did a hard reset, and that honestly Death took time to chill/exposition at them because he likes them. Really. Despite all appearances. Or respects them enough to let them know what's gone down, anyway.
Metatextually, it was really just to reaffirm to the audience that Dean (and Sam) want to live, in contrast to 15.20 Carry On 😅
3. Did all the snapped people (Eileen, Adam, the Waywards, etc.) also go through the Death question-&-answer process but not remember it, or did Jack & Amara just send them back?
Snapped people were reset automatically! Normally the new-humans also wouldn't remember their interactions with Death/reapers, just like in canon lore when someone like Dean has a near-death experience.
I realise this whole section and various other lore reformation parts of the fic aren't SUPER clear on specific logistics but on some occasions I'm like, I've done enough info-dumping, I don't want to overwrite exposition. But if you think it's worth clarifying certain points let me know and I can try to do so!
For 15x22:
1. The twenty something blonde guy in sunglasses getting hot tea, is that Belphegor? sure sounds like it but I wanted to confirm.
Yep!
2. Since Death mentioned that Jack only resurrected the angels, demons, and monsters from the Empty who had enough of a soul, and since all the human souls from the Veil went to Heaven as confirmed by Kevin's presence, how exactly are Anna's human parents and Bela alive now?
Great question - 1) I SOMEHOW FORGOT ANNA'S PARENTS DIED? Complete screw up on my part, I don't know how that happened. I fixed this so it's her grandparents now. 2) Bela was sent to Hell as part of her deal, so I was assuming she was a demon by this point in canon (since it would be... MANY Hell-years since she died.) Therefore she had a 'human' enough demon soul to be put back as a human.
3. Oh, and the tall woman with the flyer in 15.22; who is this supposed to be? Hannah I’m guessing?
To be honest I didn't have anyone in particular in mind for that scene; it was kind of a catch-all for missing characters like, it COULD be Hannah. It could be Raphael. Hell, it could be Abbadon. I didn't want to do a full shot of every single person missing from the cast who had died (esp since like - we wouldn't know who they were anyway! Their bodies would be different). So this one is literally just fill-in-the-blank. But if I had to assign a character there I'd say it would probably be one of the more arrogant angels like Raphael or Uriel.
For 15x23:
1. How is Bobby in the Roadhouse with the gang? 10x17 seemed to imply the angels were about to throw him in the dungeons to punish him for helping Cas; did Ash hack him out of prison, or was he never imprisoned at all? Also, is Jack not surprised to see another Bobby in Heaven because the boys already told him there was another Bobby besides the one he knows from Apocalypseverse? (I was half-expecting him to comment about that and confuse Bobby).
Oh that's a great point! I think that's another sort of fill in the blank since it's been five years since 10.17... even if he was in prison of some kind, I think it's likely either Ash helped him get out in the same way he helped everyone else, and since the angels were extremely short-staffed I doubt getting Bobby suitably imprisoned/punished was their top priority. But honestly I'm not super clear on how the angels intended to punish Bobby, I don't think canon is clear either... like, We Just Don't Know.
Finally I'd like to know, has Sam proposed to Eileen yet by the end of the final episode? The script doesn't mention a ring on her finger, and as Sam's fiancee, I'd assume she'd also have carved her name on the table. Sam mentions the innuendos Dean has said "in the past year," so it's been a while since Jack's prayer scene, yet Cas says Dean & Claire's argument was the last time they spoke, and it doesn't seem likely to me that Dean wouldn't call Claire in a year given how close they are...
Nope! I think Sam is saying 'I'm going to marry her' as a declaration of certainty of his feelings and faith in the future, not neccessarily as something that immediately happens. With regards to 'in the past year', that referred to the period when Eileen was alive during s15 as well! I assume Dean did teasing off-screen (and I mean, he did plenty on-screen too.)
I honestly think that Sam and Dean are just very very busy in the aftermath of the events of the 15.20 reset, like they have to deal with the new world AND try to wrangle all these hunters into this new system of collaboration. I didn't put Eileen on the table because she isn't there in the finale and because I do think the Sam/Dean/Cas/Jack family unit was a bit more central and important to the show, but maybe they add her (and any possible kids, if they have any) later on. God, imagine generations of hunters and/or Winchesters carving on that table. Sacred Artefact...
(1) Ok that's all the questions I have. Again, so sorry to blow up your inbox - I really appreciate your willingness to clarify these things! If there are some things you'd rather not explain and leave ambiguous, I totally get that. And in spite of these aforementioned confusing parts, I still ADORE your fic and will continue to read it whenever I feel like re-"watching" how Supernatural really ended! Thank you so much!! .... (2) I’m SO sorry to overload u! I know I asked a lot and I didn’t mean to sound like a hater saying “none of ur story makes sense”; that’s not what I meant at all! If this was a regular good ol fix it fic I wouldn’t have said anything but since u said u wanted it to wrap up the show as replacement canon, I thought maybe I should point out places that didn’t line up. But take as MUCH time as you need! Good for you working to meet your deadlines; I hope you succeeded!! And again I really appreciate you taking the time to answer whenever you have time—absolutely no rush!! Have a GREAT Memorial Day Weekend!!!
Anon thank you SO SO much for all these questions, as you can see it really helped me identify problems or straight up errors in my work wrt continuity and I'm so happy that means I can improve it. If any of the answers weren't clear or you think I should modify the fic to make certain things clearer than they are right now (other than the things I said I'd fix in-text for sure) let me know! It's really been a pleasure answering them too, I'm sorry it took me so long to get around to it, I actually went back and proofed/edited the whole fic as part of adding some of these corrections in (and that took like... three weeks...) and as you said, it's very important to me to get it as true to canon as possible so - yeah, just, once again, thank you!! You're wonderful! ♥♥♥

hi! not sure if you’ve ever talked about this before, but do you have a specific writing process you follow when you write fics?? i’d love to hear about it if you do :)) love your fics so much!!! (p.s. feel free to ignore this if you don’t want to/don’t feel comfortable talking about it!)
hiiii! first of all, i’m really glad you like my fics! thank you for reading them :) and for my writing process: i think i have talked about it a couple times but i do plan on making a thorough and detailed post describing my writing process but i’m lazy so it keeps getting put off! for now, i’m copy & posting what i said for an old ask where i split it into stages and described how long each one took  (+ new notes!!)
(under the cut because i ramble)
1) idea/brainstorm
i tend to get ideas from other subject matter such as books, tv shows, movies, music, etcetera just like most people but i also get a lot of fic ideas in dreams. those actually tend to be the best ones, in my opinion. and once i get an idea and it won’t leave my brain for a bit, i open up a notebook page or my notes app and write down everything i can about it (the general gist, anything specific i dreamt/wanted, etc). sometimes i’ll even write out a scene if i can’t stop thinking about it. in fact, i’ve based an entire fic around one written scene more than once in the past.
if i’m super excited, i usually end up blurting out the idea to a friend and there’s just something about explaining an idea to someone else that has you fleshing it out and building upon it and then suddenly you’re even more excited than before--
2) outlining
this actually tends to be a relatively quick stage for me! for the most part, once i get an idea and i get inspired, the story just comes together! there may be gaps but i don’t worry about them yet - i just start my character profiles and a scene list! my outlines tend to be pretty detailed but they can range from around 1k to up to 5k depending on the complexity of the story, characters, and whether any worldbuilding needs to be done. and every story is different - some i just have fleshed out in my head already so i don’t need to work it out on paper (or, on screen, i guess) and others i need to plan out every last detail or else my brain gets too muddled trying to sort everything out. and in my experience: the longer the outline, the longer the fic.
i’d say typically this takes around a couple hours (for the basic outline) but i always come back to my outline frequently even when drafting, changing and tweaking things or adding/cutting things. outlines are fluid! they’re meant to change and alter with new ideas and different directions :)
[edit: i’m just quickly going to add a:
3.5) research
this isn’t for every fic but sometimes a story i want to write involves something i don’t have a lot of knowledge/experience for and so i always make sure to research the topic as best as i can in order to portray it as accurately as possible. of course, this is fanfiction and no one is going to grade you on how credible everything is (and they shouldn’t!! this is all for fun!!) but i personally really enjoy the research aspect of writing and getting to learn about things i normally wouldn’t ever get the chance to. i’m currently writing a fic that’s required so much research (i have pages of notes; it’s ridiculous) and i’ve been having a lot of fun with it!! i also want to make a post about this but the main thing i try to do is find experts, whether that be from expert sources or from experts themselves on platforms such as youtube, specific websites, or even reddit and quora. the best way to learn is to learn from someone else who knows it well]
3) drafting
as expected, this stage definitely takes the longest. i’d say my average for writing days (as in, only counting days where i write) is around 2-3k or maybe 4k. on a really good day, i can write 6-8k (edit: haven’t done that in a hot second haha). the biggest streak i’ve had was when i wrote 40k in 4 days (ie: before we knew, which i posted the same day i finished, of course) but that is very uncommon, obviously.
so it all depends on the length of the fic and the type of story for how long drafting takes but i’d say majority of my fics were written either in a week (these are the shorter ones, just to clarify) or in a few weeks depending on length. one of my 50k+ fics was written in exactly 25 days (that sounds a bit like Nanawrimo but it was october) and then on the other hand, a fic that ended up at 30k-ish took me months to write - part of that was just that i wasn’t prioritizing it, but i also just struggled a lot with it.
(edit: so just to elaborate a bit more with challenges that are typically faced in this stage - there’ll be times where i get stuck on a scene or lose motivation and then i typically jump around and move to a different scene that i feel more excited about. that’s what’s so helpful with outlines: they let me switch between different points of the story without getting everything jumbled or creating hordes of plot holes and inconsistencies. for more on things i do to help me write more, i answered this ask a while ago. also if i get stuck plot-wise, then i often consult a fellow writing friend or go back to my outline to work it out)
4) beta stage
i have two very lovely people who beta for me: @soldouthaz and my friend chelsea who does not have a tumblr :( (edit: she does now!! @kittenlouis :D) i’d say they’re both pretty fast, finishing in a couple days when i need them to! but again, it depends on the fic/length/other circumstances. they’re really good at catching my embarrassing typos and giving me feedback when i ask (edit: i tend to leave questions in the form of comments on google docs if i want specific input or feedback and it’s really helpful)
honestly i really don’t reread/revise my own work (i actually sort of did for my second blff though since i had the extra time so we’ll see if it pays off!) (edit: i think it did!) but when i go through the edits from sarah and chelsea, i do typically end up skimming scenes and making changes that i deem necessary. i do highly suggest self-editing to anyone else though because it only ever makes the story better, never hurts it. i need to get better at it myself.
i hope this gives you some sort of idea of my writing process even though it’s sort of a mess. feel free to ask more questions if you want me to extrapolate/elaborate anything. i wish you all the best!

ao3/fanfiction questions
Thank you @calebdumes for the tag! how many works do you have on ao3? 12 what’s your total ao3 word count? 76,705 what are your top 6 fics by kudos?
Dreams of Another Life (Doctor Who) - 344 kudos
Jump 137 (Doctor Who) - 242 kudos
Clarity/Sight (Star Wars Rebels) - 163 kudos
Synchronicity (Star Wars Rebels) - 126 kudos
I Promise (Star Wars Rebels) - 115 kudos
Grounded (Star Wars Rebels) - 97 kudos
The DW fics have been up for far longer in a bit busier fandom than Star Wars Rebels, so this isn’t a surprise to me. As for the Rebels stories, most people definitely prefer fluff and smut to angst, haha. (Those first two were also written soon after the show ended, while the fandom was still more active.)
do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Absolutely. One of my favorite things both as a reader and a writer is the conversation. I started as an avid reader long before I dove into writing, and always found that when authors responded to comments, it encouraged me to comment more. And I want my own readers to know that I appreciate dearly all the lovely things they’ve had to say.
what’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
“Clarity/Sight” is my “everything is good and nothing bad happens” Rebels happy ending. Super self-indulgent, haha.
what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Oh goodness, most of the Ad Astra fics end with some degree of angst, but “Ghosts” and “Dehiscence” are probably down at the bottom of the heap. (And I love them both for it, haha.)
do you write crossovers?
I have not.
have you ever received hate on a fic?
I don’t think so.
do you write smut? if so, what kind?
The only smutty story I have written is “Synchronicity.” I’d describe it as realistic, emotional, character-driven smut. Like the kind of sex that adults who have been together for a decade actually have, haha.
have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge.
have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope!
have you ever co-written a fic before?
I haven’t. The idea sounds fun, but I’m such an inconsistent writer, that I’d probably make a bad partner.
what’s your all-time favorite ship?
Kanera, hands down!
what’s a wip that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I have about 10k of outline sketched out for a Kanan lives AU, based otherwise on all the same headcanons that underlie the Ad Astra series, but I don’t honestly think I’ll ever get to it. Other than that I have a couple of sketchy half-scenes laying about which I don’t have any current inspiration for. (And we won’t talk about the ancient DW fics buried and abandoned years ago on my Drive.)
what are your writing strengths?
I think I am decent at description, character, and emotion. (By which I mean that I’m pretty darn good at making people cry. It’s pretty much my specialty.) Subject matter wise, pregnancy and childbirth are definitely my wheelhouse. I have yet to write a fic that doesn’t involved that in some way (which draws heavily on my real life work.)
what are your writing weaknesses?
Consistency in actually writing (I’m wholly dependent on being in the mood.) and writing plot. What on earth is a cohesive plot? Is it not enough to just string your character’s emotions and development together and call that a plot? Haha.
what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I’ve used bits of Ryl in my stories as needed, working to make sure that the language is either translated or understandable due to context. But I will say that one of my favorite rebelcaptain fics, “Indigo” by jplus, uses a huge amount of foreign language dialogue, and, while it is a pain to refer to the translations sometimes, the authenticity it lends to the story is incredible.
what was the first fandom you wrote for?
Doctor Who, specifically the Doctor/Rose subset of that fandom. I’m not involved in that fandom anymore but it still has a special place in my heart.
what’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Probably “I Promise.” It was the culmination of so much work, involved drawing together so many threads from the stories that preceded it, and allowed me to really throw myself into one of my very favorite subjects--childbirth--while bringing Hera’s emotional journey through tragedy towards healing full circle. It makes me really, really happy.

2, 6, 9, 10, 14, 22. Release the salt!!
Gladly >: )
2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?
That depends, how popular is Sciles? I could never ship them; Scott treats Stiles like shit throughout the entire show. The one, single time I wrote them being romantically involved was in a super fucked up fic where a very traumatized Stiles was taking advantage of Scott’s desire to help him recover. It wasn’t even a little bit happy; Stiles was seriously screwed up after everything that happened to him, and he knew Scott wasn’t into guys, he was just trying to make him uncomfortable.
Aside from that, I’m not really into Thiam. Nothing against it, but I prefer Steo xD
6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?
Hmmm not sure if there’s one I hated, but fandom has def gotten me into stuff I wasn’t interested in before. I can’t think of any specifics off the top of my head, though. All of my TW ships were pretty much there before I ever watched the show/got into the fandom. I read a ton of fics for like 2 years before finally giving in.
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
Scott. He’s the most useless, hypocritical “hero” I’ve ever seen, and a product of lazy writing through and through. And the sad thing is, I didn’t even care when I first watched the show. I didn’t actively hate him until the Delusional Squad kept trying to bludgeon people into worshiping him, and seeing the various counterarguments for how shitty Scott really is. Now I can’t fucking stand him.
Aside from him... Allison, maybe? Which sounds terrible. I promise I actually love her, but season 2 Allison?? Total bitch. And it was such a weird path for her character development to take. Like, okay, she’s pissed off, she just found out werewolves are real and one killed her mother, almost killed her best friend, and her boyfriend is one. But to immediately start trying to hunt down her classmates? No. That is totally sociopathic behavior, what the fuck. You don’t get to play Allison as this sensitive sweetheart, and then pull that shit. It’s the inconsistency that really gets me.
Coming back from the next question to say: fuck Monroe. She was a shitty fucking character with the most basic, shallow motivation. They needed a Big Bad for the final season and instead of taking the time to really build someone up, they just decided... what? “Oh, monsters are real, I almost died and this one guy didn’t save me because I was hidden under a pile of bodies, guess it’s time to kill everyone!” Really? And she’s supposed to be a psychologist.
10. Most disliked arc? Why?
Oops, I basically answered this with the last one xD Allison’s arc infuriates me, and so does Scotts. He doesn’t make any character growth - which would be fine, if the writing reflected that. But it doesn’t. We’re still constantly told that Scott is the Very Best Werewolf Jesus, all the way up to the end, when in reality? He fucking sucks. And oh yeah, he finishes the show be recruiting child soldiers into a war he could’ve prevented, if he just killed Monroe. But no, Werewolf Jesus always has to let the bad guys go, because hey, who cares if they kill people so long as the blood isn’t on his hands.
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
Ohhh I’m sure I’ve got plenty. But actually, I’m going to answer this one for TMA because I have way more hot takes in that fandom. Like, I stopped actively participating last year because I was tired of the bulll shit, and didn’t go back into the tags until my spam yesterday.
Love the show, love the talented people in fandom, but god fuck there are so many cold takes and “Friendly Reminders UwU” and “We Really Need To Talk About This/Thing About Why You Headcanon This”. There’s a ton of purity wank for a horror-tragedy fandom, I stg. And the mob mentality? Fucking disgusting. I’ve never been more ashamed to be part of a fandom that when everyone mobbed Jonny over multiple episodes last year, but Locked In was the worst. He shouldn’t have to come out with his own trauma to justify the subject matter he writes about. That’s a trend that needs to stop across all fandoms; no one is entitled to someone else’s trauma.
22. Popular character you hate?
Actually, I should’ve answered all of these as TMA, my answers would be way more interesting and less predictable xD (except the character arc one, bc there’s not a single arc I didn’t like in TMA. They were all so well written)
Again, does Scott qualify as popular? I wouldn’t say so, given how much of fandom is Sterek, and how much of us can’t stand him for how he treats Stiles and Derek respectively xD But yeah, let’s go with that lmao.
And, just to be clear for anyone that may read: this is a salty ask game, not a debate. If you disagree with any of my answers that’s chill, I promise I won’t care, just don’t try to convince me otherwise.
