“Ah. The Suriel told you nothing important, did it?”
That smile of his sparked something bold in my chest. “He also said that you like being brushed, and if I’m a clever girl, I might train you with treats.”
Tamlin tipped his head to the sky and roared with laughter. Despite myself, I let out a soft laugh.
“I might die of surprise,” Lucien said behind me. “You made a joke, Feyre.”
I turned to look at him with a cool smile. “You don’t want to know what the Suriel said about you.” I flicked my brows up, and Lucien lifted his hands in defeat.
“I’d pay good money to hear what the Suriel thinks of Lucien,” Tamlin said.
A moodboard for the iconic trio of Tamlin, Lucien, and Feyre! Their friendship in ACOTAR was so fun and sweet, I could read an entire series of the three of them just fucking around together.

Every so often, every few years as time slips me by an I grow older, but wanting to grasp that art I fell in love with when I was just exploring anime, I go back to "Memories" by Katsuhiro Otomo.
The creator of "Akira" essentially tapped out and made shorts for the rest of his career, and here was an anthology of three absolute bangers:
"Magnetic Rose": A compelling, hypnotic sci fi marvel about memories, loss, grief and moving on, written by the late great Satoshi Kon, maker of my favourite movie.
"Stink Bomb": a much needed palette cleanser, gorgeous animation and Otomo character designs in a satire on the Japanese military, all in service of one extended joke about a bumbling salaryman having a bad day.
"Cannon Fodder": done in the style of Soviet propoganda cartoons, made to look like a single take, a haunting and vivid commentary on the machinations and obsessions of war.
I only watch it every few years, and it only recently got a wider Blu Ray release, but if you get a chance: it'll remind you why you fell in love with anime in the first place.
