I always do wonder why people say those bright ass LED headlights are safer. I used to live out in the middle of Actual Nowhere and there were zero streetlights and we got around fine at night with normal headlights. But these days, regardless of if there are streetlights or not, basically any time we've been driving at night my fiancé and I haven't been able to see so much as the lines on the road because of all the ultra-bright headlights around us. There's no way that's safer?? Like I guess I can see other cars but I certainly can't see The Road or any pedestrians/bikers. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm dog sitting for some rich folks this week and there's fucking landscapers here today (starting at 9:30am bc God forbid any rich person have a different circadian rhythm than the "correct" one). If there are still leaves on the ground in December they won, leave them alone!!!

#almost didn't notice. parking lot at work as parking lot lights so could see fine. streets all around have bright street lights #but it just didn't look right directly in front of my car and had to back up out of the driveway and get out and look #and thank goodness i did. leaving the city area and getting on the two lane highway that has no streetlights #at 55 fucking mph would have been a TERRIFYING moment to realize the no headlights thing

so green light is a lot more comfortable when we have migraines and we woke up at around sunset and were still at an 8/10 so we just put the green light on and used a load of lavender and peppermint oil which means everything smells of that now and it's an overall very weird vibe right after waking up
