Frank was born rich, and Celine worked her way up. They are theater producers together (Celine is the more competent of the two. If they ever got divorced she is most likely to keep the money)

Both of them set up high expectations for their sons, F is the more involved w them (to a point, since he normally is just there to check their flaws and push them to be better) while C is straight up absent, her mentality is that, as long as they're not doing bad, the kids are alright
